Hello again, So one of theres a new Chinese kid at my school and she doesn't speak english and apparently yesterday she asked my Chinese friend what my name was, and my friend thinking that it would be hilarious (it wasn't) told her that my name was Kiwi. Now this little girl just keeps on calling me Kiwi and I have no clue how to tell her that thats not my name

Annabeth POV:

During the party all of Leo's friends introduced themselves

There was Jason (I don't know why but I feel like I should know him), he had blonde hair, lightning blue eyes and a tiny scar on the top of his lip (Leo later explained that he got that from trying to eat a stapler when he was three), he was fairly good looking with a good build and standing at a little over six feet tall, but he wasn't really my type and anyways he already had a girlfriend

Next there was Frank, he had military style cropped hair, warm brown eyes, he looked as if he was born to play football or to wrestle but he was actually pretty sweet. Oh and he's Chinese (apparently his grandma owns a very nice Chinese restaurant)

Then there were the twins, Connor and Travis, they both had curly brown hair, brown eyes and tan skin. Travis had a girlfriend named Katy and Connor was an even bigger flirt than Percy (I thought that wouldn't be possible)

To be honest, it was kind of overwhelming. I mean so many people that I had never met before went to all this trouble just for my birthday when my own dad couldn't even wish me a happy birthday over the phone.

"So, you ready to pay up those fifty dollars yet" Leo said plopping down on the couch with me

"Meh, I still have two months"

"I see your still in denial, it's okay, just a matter of time before you succumb to Leo"

"Hopefully by that time you'll stop referring to yourself in the third person"

He scoffed

"Yeah when pigs fly"

"Well technically, according to the greek myths, there were indeed flying pigs"

He stared at me

"Fine when lizards fly"

"You mean dragons?"

"Fish"

"Already exist"

"Squirrels"

"Yup"

"Ants?"

"Ever heard of the queen ant"

"Gophers!"

I paused, "Nope, never heard of a flying gopher"

"Ahem, as much as I'd hate to interrupt your enticing conversation People are gonna start arriving soon, it is a night club after all"

I quickly turned to see Percy sitting on the armrest of the couch, his eyes sparkling in the dark

"Oh" I was kinda of sad that it was already over

"Well see ya tomorrow Annie" Connor called as he headed towards the door

"It's Annabeth" I said rolling my eyes

"Wait real quick, give me your number" Leo said pulling his phone out

"Yeah that's not how you get a girl"

"Whatever, but if we want to meet up later we should be able to communicate with each other"

"And what makes you think I would want to hang out with you again" I said sarcastically

"Ouch, that hurts right here" he said patting his heart "After all I did for you"

"Uhuh, I'm pretty sure you only did this for the fifty bucks"

"How dare you judge me like that, I'm offended" he stated dramatically

"Pretty sure I'm right"

"Only half" he protested

I laughed, reaching for his phone and handing him mine

I quickly typed in my number and put an upside down smiley face by my name

"Okay see ya tomorrow" he waved goodbye

(1 Hour Later)

After heading to the buffet for dinner and strolling around the boat for a while I returned to my room and took a nice long shower. One of the best things about going to a hotel, resort or cruise was not having to pay for the water bill, meaning I could spend as long as I wanted under the water.

After changing into my Pj's and plopping onto the bed I checked my phone to see that I had received a message from Leo, I laughed when I saw the two fire emojis around his name

-Good night :)

-What do you miss me already?

- Of course ;p

I let out a loose chuckle

-Well I'm actually going to bed so please don't keep me up with those annoying pings every time I recieve a text.

-Ok i wont

-See ya tmro

-Bye

(The Next Morning)

"Uhg" I groaned turning off my alarm

You see, since I was already planning on being less productive than normal I had decided that the least I could do was wake up at a normal hour (9:00) every day, but god why was it so hard.

Reluctantly I got out of bed and got dressed, I put on my grey bikini and some jean shorts with a white tank top over it.

I grabbed my Sherlock Holmes book (The Valley Of Fear) threw on some flip flops and made a bee line to the breakfast buffet

"Well well well, we meet again" I turned to see Connor standing next to me in line

"Morning" I offered with a smile

"Right back at ya"

"Sooo, what looks apealing?"

"I was thinking of an omelette and some pancakes"

"Why not waffles"

"Because-"

"Because waffles are disgusting and pancakes are heavenly" I turned around to see Percy standing behind us smirking

"You again"

"Ah don't act as if your not excited to see me Wise Girl"

I raised an eyebrow "Wise Girl?"

He shrugged "Well you didn't like Princess so..."

"Hmmf"

"Well if your just gonna stand there Ima get some food" he said cutting in front of me and continuing down the line

I turned back around to see Connor with a confused look on his face

"Wait you think waffles are disgusting?"

"Well not disgusting, but they are really dry" I said with a shrug

"I swear, by the end of this trip you will enjoy waffles" He said in a serious tone

"I don't think that's gonna happen"

"Challenge accepted"

I rolled my eyes "Come on, before they run out of food"

"That's impossible"

"Challenge accepted!" Percy called carrying two plates filled with stacks of pancakes

We laughed

I've been doing that a lot more lately
