Reina, Madara, Hashirama, and Tobirama were all in the Hokage's office discussing village safety measures and other future projects. Eventually, the topic of the Miyashita clan came up.

Hashirama began. "I haven't heard anything regarding the Miyashita clan as of late. I wonder if we should soon begin a more active investigation in the Land of Fire."

Madara stepped forward. "If I may interject, Reina and I came across a casualty on our way to our honeymoon destination. We think that it might be related to the Miyashita clan."

"Oh? Do tell." Tobirama encouraged as he rested his arms on the table.

"We had entered a village just beyond the northeast border of the Land of Fire when traveling to the newly formed Village Hidden in the Waterfalls. This village was lively and rather industrious, but we noticed one broken-down shop. We approached one of the shop owners and learned that the store sells only mirrors. After making this connection, we questioned him to learn about what happened." Madara looked at Hashirama and Tobirama. "Apparently, at night when he was closing up shop, a group of about five shinobi busted through the glass storefront. Two men attacked him while the others were preoccupied with something else."

"What were they doing?" Hashirama inquired.

Madara continued. "That, we do not know, since the man said he was paying attention to the foes before him, trying not to get killed."

"And rightfully so." Tobirama crossed his arms.

Madara nodded. "Eventually, floods of shinobi started coming out of the mirrors at warp speed. They would enter the shop, grab mirrors, and leave with them as more shinobi cycled through."

"Wait! This means that Reina's theory was correct." Tobirama interjected.

Hashirama smiled at his sister. "Well done, Reina."

Reina shook her head. "It was nothing."

Madara smiled at her receiving the recognition she deserved before continuing. "She is correct, which means we can go off of her deduction to gather more related information. As for the shop, unfortunately, they lost most of their inventory and their building took a significant amount of damage."

Hashirama grabbed his chin deep in thought. "I feel as if we need to start actively investigating other villages and lands. If this behavior continues, we will have to warn other great shinobi villages and encourage them to disseminate the information across various lands. However, we cannot do that too soon as that would cause unnecessary panic." He clenched his jaw before relaxing it. "These guys are smart by turning their gorilla tactic to a more refined approach. They know we know."

Tobirama spoke. "It would make things significantly easier if we could figure out their abilities. The information that man failed to gather was crucial." He turned to Reina. "Do you think you could investigate what the Miyashita clan's fighting style and jutsu they use?"

"With all due respect, that is a huge task to complete by myself. I am not certain I will be able to figure it out in a timely manner. It is highly likely that by the time we figure it out, they will already be prepared to attack." Reina said with full sincerity. "The one thing I can do is dispatch fully trained ANBU Black Ops members to scour the land. I can certainly accompany them on various missions as well."

"That could certainly help with intel retrieval and relief efforts," Hashirama stated. "How soon can you have them ready for such perilous endeavors?"

"With me by their side…? About a month or two. They still have yet to learn how to effectively cooperate with shinobi of varying jutsu and abilities. Since we are still in a post-war era where everyone is used to fighting with their clansmen alone, this has been the biggest obstacle for my people to overcome. Once we have a decent handle on teamwork we will be able to execute both internal and external missions." Reina stated. "Is that time frame suitable?"

"I was expecting you to say three months or more. That's more than suitable." Hashirama nodded. "We will be counting on you for that."

"Of course." Reina gave a curt bow.

Tobirama cleared his throat. "Not to doubt you, Reina, but are you certain you want to engage in battle if you are expecting a baby?"

Reina nodded. "I'm more than prepared to annihilate anyone who tries to harm my team, me, or my baby."

"Yikes," Hashirama stated while raising his brows, earning a chuckle from the group.

Tobirama turned to face Madara. "And you?"

"It is a husband's duty to support his wife in all she does. I have faith that Reina will be more than alright." Madara gave a polite smile.

"Very well then." Hashirama grinned. "This meeting is adjourned."

About one week later, Madara, Reina, Hashirama, Mito, and Tobirama all congregated at Sasuke Sarutobi's house. They were all sitting out in his beautiful garden, dining on hors d'oeuvres, and having drinks while enjoying each other's company. The men were all talking and cackling amongst themselves while the women were doing the very same in their own cluster. As expected, Sasuke's wife, Hiroko was quite the humorous host.

"Sasuke is a wonderful man, but he's so damn awkward sometimes." Hiroko chuckled. "He's always in his head about shinobi stuff that when he's brought back to earth it's like stepping into an alternate reality. Like, 'Where did my wife go? How is it daytime already? Why are my shoes on backward?' Next thing you know it's gonna be, 'Where is my child? Did I even have a child? Why does it smell like dirty diaper?'"

Reina laughed. "Men definitely aren't as present as women."

"If they're not in battle their minds are off in space." Mito made a fluttering motion with her hands.

"Haha! Yeah…" Hiroko patted her stomach. "But I know he's going to be a fantastic father. It's never not amusing when he's around. He's a splendid man and I am truly blessed to have him."

"Well, that's sweet." Reina nodded. "So, how far along are you exactly?"

"Eleven weeks." Hiroko smiled. "It's going by fast."

Mito snickered. "Sasuke said you were about five or six weeks in."

Hiroko placed a hand on her head and shook it disapprovingly. "That man." She chuckled. "We found out about six weeks ago, but the baby was conceived fixe weeks prior." She held her hands up defensively. "I swear, he's not stupid. He can just be very… ridiculous at times."

Mito laughed. "Ridiculous? Wait until you see Hashirama get emotional."

"Now that is ridiculous. I second that statement." Reina said while giggling.

Hiroko's eyes widened in surprise. "Is he really that emotional?"

"Oh," Mito gently placed a hand on hers. "You have no idea."

Hiroko laughed. "You know what's funny? Men comment about how emotional women can be when they are just as bad- if not worse!"

"I don't know about that." Reina shrugged. "If I skip a meal, it's over."

"Oh! Speaking about food, I should probably clear plates and bring dinner out." Hiroko stood up. "Sasuke, let's clear the plates and bring out dinner."

Sasuke stood up from his chair. "Excuse me, gentlemen." He waved a hand at his wife to sit. "Relax, honey. I can take care of everything."

"No, I'm fine." Hiroko bent down to Reina and Mito. "Like Hell, I'd trust him not to mess this up." Earning laughter from the two ladies.

For the rest of the night, the group conversed together and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Eventually, everyone departed and went home for the night.

Reina and Madara were in a vast underground library beneath Madara's original office building. They were organizing scrolls in their library while searching through them to see if they had any information about mirror-related jutsu that their ancestors could have written about during their war era.

"I didn't think the Uchiha clan had a library of war journals," Reina said as she pulled out a dusty scroll.

"Yes, it is rather impressive, isn't it?" Madara smiled. "It is a way to learn about your enemy without exchanging blows. During the warring states era, which lasted much too long, not every clan came into combat with one another. Sometimes, previous generations will fight one clan, the next generation will fight another, and the next generation will face both. The information gathered from the previous two generations aids them if they read the materials as directed." Madara pulled out a large, black scroll. "And then there is this."

Reina looked over at Madara and furrowed her brows. "What is that?"

Madara rolled open the scroll and let the paper continuously drop to the floor. "The extinction list."

"Extinction list?" Reina looked at him with wide eyes. "This is a list of all clans who have been permanently wiped out?"

Madara nodded. "Indeed it is." He flicked the scroll in the opposite direction and wound it back up. "We also keep a list of who we do not have to fight anymore, thus prioritizing knowledge of other clans. These scrolls were created through both firsthand experience and intel gathered by other shinobi. These scrolls themselves are worth more than the village, financially speaking that is."

Reina nodded. "I see. The Uchiha clan really is something."

"That is quite the understatement." Madara chuckled. "Information like this is so rare, that if we sold just one scroll, we could probably purchase the entire Land of Fire."

Reina's eyes widened in surprise. "Seriously?"

"Absolutely. Information never depreciates." Madara stopped and looked up at the ceiling. "I think someone is looking for me."

Reina placed her scroll back. "Shall we go back up to the world of the living?"

Madara chuckled. "Sure thing, but not after I do this." Madara wrapped his arm around Reina's waist and pulled her in for a soft, sensual kiss. He pulled apart from her and gently let go of her. "Alright, let's go."

Reina blushed liked mad as she followed him. "S-sure thing."

As the two surfaced, making their way to ground level, they closed the floor hatch and resealed it. They lowered a floor mat to cover it and then left the meeting room that masked the underground entrance. Madara walked to his office with Reina closely behind. Just outside of Madara's door stood Jun.

"Oh! Jun. How are you today?" Madara inquired.

Jun bowed. "Excellent, sir. Greetings, Lady Reina. How are you two today?"

"I am doing well, thank you." Reina smiled and gave a curt bow back.

"Likewise." Madara opened his office door. "Shall we?" He gestured for the three of them to walk inside. Madara walked over to his desk and leaned against it and Reina stood beside him. "What can I assist you with, Jun?"

Jun shut the door behind him and walked up to the Uchiha clan lord and his wife. "Actually, it is… well, how do I put it… not work-related?"

"Oh?" Madara crossed his arms. "Do tell."

Jun smiled sheepishly as a faint blush crept on his cheeks. "Well, I have been seeing the same woman for quite some time now and I wanted to propose to her."

Reina took in a slow, deep breath as a smile spread across her face. "You want to get married?"

Jun nodded his head. "Yes, my lady. I was wondering if we could receive both of your blessings and perhaps guide me on my proposal."

Madara walked up to Jun and placed a warm hand on his shoulder. "We will aid you with your proposal and you certainly have my blessing." Madara turned to face Reina. "And you?"

Reina grinned. "You have my blessing as well, Jun."

Jun smiled and rubbed the back of his neck with a quiet giggle. "Really? Wow, thank you, both of you." He bowed.

Madara and Reina looked at each other with a smile, proud of their friend. Madara faced Jun. "Please, there is no need to bow."

Jun stood up straight. "I am sorry. I am simply so grateful."

Reina smiled and walked over to Jun. "Time to help with the fun part, huh?"

Jun nodded. "Yes, of course."

"First of all, have you purchased a ring?" Reina inquired.

"A ring? Not exactly." Jun hesitated.

"Do you know what stone, clarity, and color she likes?" Reina inquired.

"Umm…" Jun blushed more.

Madara stepped in. "How about the cut? Princess, cushion, oval, round? Does she like a sleek halo or ostentatious pave? Silver or gold?"

"I-I don't know," Jun mumbled.

"Perhaps she and I can take a trip to the jeweler?" Reina inquired. "That or I can go undercover to see what she likes."

"That would be a great help," Jun stated sweetly. "Yes! You can have girl talk and see what she likes and then I will buy it later."

"Sounds easy enough." Reina lifted a finger. "But if she says pear cut with a gold band you cannot marry her." Reina declared.

Madara made a face of disgust. "How hideous…"

Jun laughed. "Is that so?"

Both Madara and Reina looked at Jun with a sincere expression. "Yes."

Jun swallowed a lump in his throat. "Oh, dear."

One week had passed and it was time for Reina to carry out her mission. Jun, Reina, and Madara were all sitting in a tree together, observing the crowd of people meandering through the village streets.

Jun pointed. "There she is…"

Reina gasped. "She's so pretty!"

"Isn't she?" Jun smiled. "I wonder what shops she's going to visit."

"Hopefully the dumpling shop," Reina muttered.

"Reina, why must you always think about food?" Madara asked rhetorically.

Jun snickered. "Anyway, I am certain she knows who you are. If you just walk up to her and talk… somehow."

Reina chuckled. "I got it. I'm good at these things." She stood up on the branch and stretched. "Well, off I go."

Reina jumped out of the tree and landed swiftly without a sound. She quietly stepped into the crowd, assimilating instantly, or so she thought. Reina was dressed in a pastel, lavender-colored yukata with the Uchiha clan crest. Her make-up was pink and natural. Her chocolatey hair was in bouncy curls and waves. Many people who passed her by couldn't help but turn their heads. Reina picked up the pace so as not to be noticed by too many people. She continued through the crowd until she spotted Jun's partner.

Jun sighed. "This would be easier if Reina wasn't drawing so much attention with her beauty."

Madara chuckled. "Regardless of how she dresses this is the typical reaction."

"Isn't it a bit frustrating?" Jun inquired. "You know, having everyone gawk at your wife?"

Madara shook his head. "No. Not when you have trust."

Jun smiled. "That's… actually very adorable."

Madara blushed. "Do not use that word to describe me." He commanded.

Jun snickered. "My apologies, Lord Madara." He perked up. "Oh, she's going in."

Reina watched as the woman entered the Yamanaka Flower Shop. She waited a few moments before entering shortly after. Reina perused the shelves before spotting the woman. She had straight, medium-brown hair that came just past her shoulders. Her skin was fair and she had a very slender frame. She was medium height and seemed very docile.

Reina walked closer to her, examining the flowers. "I absolutely love white spider mums. They're my favorite." She spoke softly to the woman.

"Yes, they are rather beautiful." The woman stated and turned her attention toward Reina. When her eyes met hers, she gasped as a faint blush flushed on her cheeks. "Oh! You're Reina Sen- er- Uchiha!"

Reina giggled. "I am. It's a pleasure to meet you. What is your name?" She asked, playing dumb.

"I'm sorry. How impolite of me not to introduce myself. I'm Kazuko." The woman bowed. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Reina bowed back. "There is no need to apologize." She smiled.

"So, what brings you out here today?" The woman inquired.

"Oh, it's my day off today and I wanted to relax and maybe shop or go to a café." Reina smiled. "I love flowers and this shop is the best. They actually provided giant arrangements for my birthday party and wedding."

"Wow, that must have been so beautiful!" The woman smiled. "I would love that for my wedding."

"Oh? You're getting married?" Reina inquired.

Kazuko nodded. "Yes, well- maybe… I hope so." She giggled and rubbed the back of her head. "I'm just waiting for him to propose."

Reina laughed. "I see! Are you planning the wedding by yourself?"

"Um, maybe? I'm not sure yet." Kazuko shrugged.

Reina smiled. "Well, if you would like, I can show you some of the best businesses around town for decorations, food, and so on."

"R-really?!" The woman's eyes sparkled. "Y-you mean the Reina Uchiha wants to show me around town?"

"I would be more than happy to-" Reina smiled before her face contorted with confusion. "Wait… 'the' Reina Uchiha?"

Kazuko nodded cheerily. "Uhuh! You're known in this village and a few surrounding ones for being beautiful, strong, and a feminist who takes on roles traditionally given to men. You're an inspiration to many women!"

Reina was genuinely taken aback. "Oh… Wow, I had no idea."

"It's because you're so humble." Kazuko grinned.

"Please, you flatter me." Reina held her hands up. She lowered her hands and encouraged the woman to follow her. "Shall we walk around and maybe get some lunch?"

"Sure thing." Kazuko followed her out of the flower shop.

Reina showed Kazuko venues, shops for décor, tailors and kimono shops, restaurants that cater, and more. Eventually, Reina brought her to the finest local jeweler. Reina gently pointed against the glass. "You see this?"

Kazuko gasped. "That's beautiful."

"These are wedding bands. You need to pick them out with your future fiancé." Reina walked over to the engagement rings. "Since he is going to propose, is there any ring you would hope for?"

"Oh, anything will do, really. It's the thought that counts." She smiled.

"That's very sweet of you to say, but this is going to be adorned on your finger. It's okay to fantasize about your dream ring." Reina encouraged her to look. "Go ahead. Engagement is the perfect excuse to gawk at diamonds."

Kazuko gently stepped forward and was immediately engulfed by the twinkling stones. "Wow! These are beautiful!"

"You can try them on, ya' know," Reina stated.

"R-really?!" Kazuko looked at her with a serious expression.

"Really." Reina turned to the shopkeeper. "Excuse me, Mr. Kin! Can we try on some rings!"

The shopkeeper was an elderly man. "Oh! Lady Reina! What a pleasure to have you visit my shop." He smiled. "Are you the lucky young lady?" He turned to Kazuko.

"Yes, sir." She said nervously.

"Oh, congratulations. What would you like to try on today?" He smiled sweetly.

Reina watched as Kazuko tried on about five different rings. Thankfully, none had a pear-shaped diamond with a gold band. Kazuko tried on one last ring, it was a 2.5 karat oval-shaped diamond with a halo of smaller diamonds surrounding it. The band was white gold. Kazuko's eyes shimmered as she examined the ring on her finger.

Reina leaned in. "Is that the one?"

Kazuko nodded. "Yeah." She smiled. "I hope he gets me this one."

Reina spoke softly. "If he knows you he will get what you like. Trust him." She turned to Mr. Kin. "How much is this ring?"

"Eight million yen." He said sweetly.

Kazuko nearly stopped breathing. "Oh my…" She held out her hand for him to slip it off. "That's quite the diamond."

"The craftsmanship here is first-rate, but it does come with a price." Reina rubbed her stomach. "I'm not sure about you, but all this cardio has me famished. Care to go to a café with me?"

Kazuko smiled and nodded. "I would love that."

Later that afternoon, Reina met Madara and Jun at the Naka River. Jun spoke first. "How did it go?"

"Everything went well. I didn't know you were dating an everyday citizen." Reina smiled as she walked up to the two men.

Madara stood with his arms crossed. "She's not a shinobi?"

Jun shook his head. "No, sir. I hope that doesn't pose a problem for you."

"Not at all." Madara smiled. "Besides, it is not my place to take away your happiness."

Jun bowed. "Thank you, Lord Madara."

Reina cleared her throat. "So, I know what ring she wants."

"Do you? How much is it?" Jun asked with as much excitement as his stoic self could.

"About eight million yen," Reina said with a giggle.

"That's fi-" Jun stopped mid-sentence. "You said eight million?"

Reina nodded. "That is indeed what I had said."

Jun sighed in defeat. "That's a little bit steep." He lowered his head. "Damn it."

Reina patted him on the shoulder. "There there, Jun. I'm sure she will appreciate whatever else you get her."

"You think so?" Jun said while looking at the dirt. "Did she say that?"

"She did." Reina let go. "Because she loves you."

Jun smiled and closed his eyes. "Yes, but she's deserving of so much more. That and every woman should have her dream ring."

"I agree." Reina held out a tiny bag in front of his face. "Which is why I bought it for you."

Jun slowly lifted his head and looked at the little black bag dangling in front of his face. "Y-you did what?"

Madara stood beside Reina. "We want both you and Kazuko to have the best. It is our way of thanking you for all that you have done." He said with a small smile.

Jun turned his head away with a small grin on his face. "Th-thank you." He said, trying not to get emotional over it.

Reina smiled. "Take it. You both deserve it."

Jun turned to face her with glassy eyes and graciously accepted the gift. "Thank you, Lord Madara, Lady Reina. How can I ever repay you?"

Madara and Reina looked at each other before looking at Jun. Reina spoke up. "Be there for the clan as you already have, and love our future child as if it were your own."

Madara nodded. "That is all we can ever ask over."

Jun grinned from ear to ear. "I can surely do that." He looked at Reina. "I cannot believe you bought this ring for her. You really tend to take on a man's role."

Reina rubbed the back of her neck. "Yeah, I think I've heard something like that before." She giggled sheepishly to herself as the sunset on the trio.

Jun got down on one knee and held out a purple velvet box in his hand. "Kazuko Gekko… will you marry me?" He said softly as the sunset behind him. The wind blew, gently rattling the field of flowers that he and Kazuko had to themselves. As the fragrance of the flowers wafted through the air, he slowly opened the box revealing Kazuko's dream ring.

Kazuko gasped and her eyes immediately began to water. "Yes… I will!" She nodded as she held her left hand out for him to slip the ring onto her finger. She tears streamed down her face as Jun stood up and brought her into a loving embrace.

Reina sighed, happily perched in a tree with Madara. "Ah, young love."

Madara chuckled. "You're too much." He leaned in and gave her a sweet kiss. "Shall we head back?"

"Oh! Yes!" Reina said urgently. The couple quickly fled the scene.

Eventually, Jun and Kazuko made their way to Jun's apartment. It was late at night so all was quiet. Jun silently unlocked the door and opened it. "Here we are." He flicked on the lights.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Was all that could be heard as the packed apartment full of Uchiha clansmen and other friends of Jun clapped and cheered.

Jun froze in place, shocked for a moment. "What?! How are you guys all here?!"

Reina raised her hand. "I broke us in."

Jun laughed and walked Kazuko in. Everyone congratulated and greeted Jun and his fiancé. Jun turned to Reina and Madara. "You guys planned an engagement party for us?"

Madara nodded. "Yes, Reina and I were scrambling to figure it out on top of our other work since we only had a week or so, but I think it came out pretty damn okay."

Jun bowed with Kazuko. "Yes, thank you! This is amazing."

Reina smiled and held her hand out to Kazuko. "May I see the ring?"

Kazuko nodded and placed her hand in Reina's for her to examine the ring. "You were right."

Reina smiled and gently let go. "It truly is beautiful. Again, congratulations."

"Th-thank you." Kazuko lunged forward and hugged Reina.

Reina awkwardly hugged back while looking at Madara and Jun with an amused expression. "It was my pleasure." She softened her rigid hug and brought Kazuko into a proper hug. She let go and smiled at the woman. "If you need any help with the wedding, just let me know."

"Oh, thank you!" She bowed again.

The party went on for a few hours as everyone ate and drank while conversing with each other. Reina finished filling her stomach up with cake and turned to Madara. "Should we head home?"

Madara nodded. "Yes, let's say good night to everyone."

One week later, Reina was sitting in Doctor Yakushi's office with Madara beside her. There was a knock at the door and a soft click as Doctor Yakushi entered. "Hello, Lady Reina, Lord Madara." She bowed.

The couple gave a curt bow in return. "Hello, Doctor Yakushi," Reina said anxiously while she sat on the examination table.

Madara gently grabbed her hand and gave it a light squeeze. "Try to relax."

Reina nodded and turned her attention to the doctor. "I'm ready."

Doctor Yakushi grinned. "I sure hope so, because you're pregnant!"

Reina grinned. "Wait, really? Like, really really?!"

Doctor Yakushi nodded. "Really." She handed her the documents on her clipboard. "You are five weeks into your first trimester."

Reina looked at Madara who looked equally as content. "We're gonna have a baby."

Madara smiled and nodded. "I cannot wait."

Doctor Yakushi smiled. "Congratulations, you two. Now, let's schedule your future visits."
