Chapter 2 Acceptance
"Bakugo" POV
I wake up due to the morning sun hitting my eyes and the alarm on my phone destroying my ear drums as I wake up in a small pit of my own self hate as I grab the phone roughly and shut off the alarm rather forcefully as I went to clearing all the crust out of my eyes.
Sweeping the blanket out of the way as I get up from my bed and head to the drawer to get dressed for the day luckily it was a weekend and I would have to keep up Bakugo's training for U.A being the weights in the garage due to Katsuki's dad Masaru reminding me to bot go in there as I was injured. But now being about a week has passed since the exam and yet I haven't got a letter myself which almost worried me but that's because my parents kept saying I blew it…well not my dad but my overly aggressive new mom does but I know she cares about me and I know it's all for discipline. My original mother was the same thing she would discipline me as well but…not as forwardly as Mitsuki would.
These past few days I have avoided going to school or more like my mom having me stay until I got fully better but even then when I was fully better she still didn't let me go to school.
I could tell that there was some worry in her eyes when I tried leaving for school and she would stop me.
'Probably the Slime incident and now me being hurt so I couldn't defend myself even if I tried" I looked away at my own reflection in the mirror as i gripped my limp arm's elbow scratching it anxiously.
'It's truly been a week in another world…I don't know how I feel really about this…on one side it's cool and on another side is that…this was never my life ti live in the first place' an uncomfortable amount of guilt hit me once more as it had been a constant in the week.
I sigh sadly having some courage and looking myself in the mirror at the pitiful sight I saw myself in and then I saw what seemed to be my reflection moving…what the hell?
"You took my life from me" the mirror image of me said with a snarl as I look astonished ready to defend myself but nothing came from my mouth as I couldn't muster a single sound.
"You know it too! You can't say anything because you know it's true! Your just a body snatcher that won't be as good as the original you FAKER" The reflection said as I look down not replying as I held my head not wanting to believe it.
"No..no your wrong I-I didn't take anything I…I didn't even want to even be here!" I said a little more loudly than I wanted as tears started to leak out of my clenched shut eyes.
"Is that all you can say? You stole everything from me…you're just a villain…" My reflection said as I furiously shake my head denying it trying to make what I knew true to be false.
"Katsuki!" I heard a yell from the direction of my door as I turned to the sound and saw mom opening the door frantically scanning the room after hearing my frantic denials as she when her eyes caught my tears she looked worried.
"What the hell happened!" She yelled running up to me embracing me in a warm hug catching me off guard as I didn't know how to react as my arms fell on either side of me not knowing what to do.
"You even stole the Old Hag from me!?" I heard in the back of my mind as I started to shake and shed a couple more tears.
"Katsuki!" She held on me tighter snapping me out of my trance as I look up to her face me slighly below her height of 5'7 as I was slightly kneeling.
I wept for a couple of minutes as Mitsuki didn't let me go as I kept my arms away from here trying to keep my distance after what was said I couldn't look at her anymore.
"Katsuki tell me what happened…" she said shaking me forcing me to look at her eyes as she scanned my eyes and my emotion on my face as she silently bit her lip.
"J-just…what…" I whispered while trying to look away from her and aiming my gaze at the straight ground eventually breaking out of her motherly hug as my hair now blocked what she could see of my eyes.
"What would you do if you stole something and couldn't give it back!" I managed out weeping through the end as I grasped at collar of my shirt now dripping wet with the tears I had weep.
"Tch" I heard a click of her tongue before I felt pain on my cheek as I was punched in my left cheek and fell down as I looked up at Mitsuki who held her fist out as she looked down at me.
"Katsuki…I know you're not the person to steal on purpose you're way to ridiculous for that anyway but…did you steal on purpose." She made air quotation marks with her fingers.
I shook my head in declining fashion as my eyes where kept on her as I sat up nursing my cheek.
"Then I'd live with it…" She finally said as she retracted her fist as it fell to her side.
"But how could you just live with something like that." I barely managed out as I kept my gaze at her.
"Katsuki…you're a smart kid…but I guess you're still just a kid." She smiled at me as she walked up to where I was and petted me before pulling my hand up making me forcibly stand. I couldn't resist her or her presence as it was overwhelming.
"It makes me think I can still teach you things when I thought you already excelled at everything that you didn't need my help makes me a bit happy." I tilt my head in full confusion and my eyes widen.
"Katsuki…as you told me you didn't mean too so the blame can't be put on you but I know you kid I've been changing you since you where born and I know you'll put the responsibility on yourself when you don't need it." My eyes widen at that as she walked a bit closer to me.
"All you can do is learn Katsuki and don't put the weight of the world on your shoulders you stupid brat…people make mistakes all the time Katsuki so that means you make them too. Letting this weigh on you when you can't do something then do something else." She said pressing her forehead against mine as my eyes went fully wide as she embraced me in a hug which stunned me.
'Just think of what I can do right now… Don't have the weight of the world huh…' I controlling my arms wrap around my arms around my…New Mother and hug her tightly.
'I may not be able to change the past but I can change the future if I was brought here then there must be a reason but one step at a time…Katsuki…' I told myself as my tears stopped flowing through my eyes as I looked one with a newfound confidence.
"Thanks Mom" I said and she ruffled my hair and smiled as we separated then and there.
"Get yourself cleaned up you brat and wash your face." She said before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her.
I turn back to the mirror to see the reflection of me in the mirror leaning against the edge of the mirror as it gave me a look and it grinned looking at my now more determined face.
"Tch Not Bad…heh Not Bad at all" he extended his left fist and I walk up to the mirror and hold up my right fist as our fist connected I closed my eyes feeling energy seeping into me as when I opened my eyes I saw a normal reflection of me as I smiled showing on the reflection as well.
It caused me to remember something deep inside myself.
'Son live life to the fullest life is too short for you to be focusing on the bad things yes you might not be the best at something but that shouldn't stop you. You must have a balance to much of something will destroy you so don't take this for granted as I think your one of the only person that could be this way you're a Smart Kid'
A tear fell uncontrollably from my eye as I went to wipe it off but something about this tear was better then the rest of them though.
'It's okay to cry of happiness my Son' I smirk as i clenched my hand into a fist as I brought it to me and I smiled towards my fist and I look towards the uncovered window usually covered by a curtain but since mom came in she swiped it open.
I walk towards the window and look at the sky and the sun threatening to spill through all the holes in the clouds.
'I'll go beyond…Plus Ultra!'
After…
Finishing my training session in the garage I open the door leading into the living room as I heard a bell ring.
"Katsuki! Could you get the door!" Mom yelled across the home probably doing the clothes.
"Alright!" I yell back as I walk to the doorway as I stuffed my hands in my pockets before opening the door.
'Nobody!' I thought as I stepped outside and saw the mail inside a hole in the wall next to the house number as I grabbed them and walked inside not inspecting them closely as I shut the door behind me.
"What was it Katsuki!" I heard my Mom say as she walked in the living room.
I closely inspected all the mail as I saw a familiar logo on one of them that was addressed to me.
"It's my entrance exam results." I say in a monotone as I set the others on the coffee table as I sit on the couch ready to open the envelope.
"Wait for me brat" Mom said as she quickly sat down next to me.
'I forget that Dad was the only one that works on a Saturday' i sweat-drop at my Mom and open the envelope quickly as a rather small circular object fell on the table before glowing and projecting a screen with the U.A Logo.
"It's a projector" Mom questions as she looked at the disk as the U.A logo cuts off and it shows All Might.
"Is it recording?" He asked a operator out of the shot and I felt a sweat drop coming off my head and I turned to see my Mom having the same reaction.
"It is…Hello Young Bakugo its nice to see you again after your exam I hope your feeling better young man." He shot off a thumbs up and his normal cheerful smile.
"Anyways I Am Here to tell you your scores!" All Might said a lot more adventurous than I thought he would but I continued on instead of shutting the video off entirely.
"As the new staff member of U.A I am proud to tell you that you have gotten yourself a passing grade in the Written exam with a approximate average of 93% over all portions of your tests." All Might voice echoed through the home as I continued to look at the animated image.
"But for your Practical Exam as was explained getting Villain points you have gotten 40 Villain Points." With that said my eyes widen just a bit.
The score showed on the screen behind in no particular ranking but just the top 10's ranking of Villain Points.
'Was I going to be put in 1-B.
"If Villain points was the only thing we where counting but there is another source of points that we didn't mention." He said showing how vaguely he mean by shushing himself at the very end.
"I swear to Kami that this guys a real life cartoon" I say offhandedly and I heard my Mom snort in amusement as I smiled.
"Hero Points!" He exclaimed as the rankings switched to what it would be as a ranking both Villain and Hero Points

"The person with the most points with just the Hero points I would think you where cheating but I've seen you Young Bakugo your not the type to do things like that so I have only one thing left to say." All Might left me hanging as I smiled looking at the points.
"Welcome to your Hero Academia" With that the image disappeared back into the little projector as the light emanating from it went dark.
"Heh you got in you stupid brat." I turned to face Mom as she ruffled my hair and I relaxed my head with a smile coming onto my face a proud smile at that.
After…
School Day Back…
Walking into class or more like I walked into school with the GPS and waited till Midoriya came as he looked quite proud of himself and followed behind him and I waited outside the classroom he went in for a couple of seconds getting a couple of awkward looks mostly from the girls looking at me but I just ignore them.
I walk into the classroom a bit after waiting and sit in the seat infront of Midoriya's if I remember that's where I was originally.
Stuffing my face in my arms as I quietly close my eyes and try to sleep but with the bustling noice of the morning rush hour I only managed to rest my eyes a bit before the teacher came inside and the bell ringed.
Last Period…
"Alright that would end our lesson for today and the bell is about to ring so you all are" he cut himself off just as the bell rang as we all looked to him.
"Dismissed." He said as everyone got up from there chairs fast as I was quietly trying to leave the room but when my name was called I looked to the source.
"Bakugo and Midoriya do you two mind if you stick around for a bit." I look over to Midoriya as he nervously nod while I just sigh and nod myself.
We walk up to his desk both of us in front staring at him as he was putting away all the pages on the Algebra lesson.
By the time the last student left the room he put all the papers in a drawer under the desk as he looked up at the two of us.
"First off I wanted to congratulate the both of you to getting into U.A I had a lot of hope that you were getting in Bakugo but you to Midoriya that's completely unexpected." With that I kept an even gaze at him while Midoriya just look away sheepishly rubbing the crook of his neck.
"Ahh I can't believe two of my students got into the U.A hero course I just wanted to ask could you both not forget about your teacher when you become pro's" he said closing his eyes earnestly.
"Of course we would why wouldn't we remember you." Midoriya said a bit confused by I just sigh silently not to attract there attention.
"Whatever is that all" I say as the both of them look at me a bit strangely as the Teacher just nodded after a while of awkward silence and I just turn my back and walk away opening the door and closing it behind me with a deafening in the silence.
I pull my bag to my shoulder as I started to walk to the stairs when I heard a door open behind me as I didn't bother turning knowing it was Midoriya.
Though my attention reduced itself when I heard his footsteps increase in sound and frequency that I speed up my walk to a speed walk.
This awkward feeling stayed until we exited the building Midoriya keeping right behind me as I had to cross the courtyard to get across the school to my home.
Walking silently towards the water fountain and past it that's where Midoriya spoke after a while.
"K-Kaachan are you okay." I stop in my step as I look over my shoulder at him as I saw his hand trying to reach over to me.
"You don't have to worry about me alright who do you take me for anyways." I said turning my head back to facing away from him.
"But Kaachan you've been acting different these lest 10 months and even stranger these couple of weeks…did something happen." He said as I didn't bother looking at him as I just walked away leaving him there speechless as I shove my hands in my pockets and dig out my earphones and untangle them.
"Sorry Midoriya but I don't think we could be friends…"
Walking the streets I feel very lively going through a playlist that has a couple of songs that I added to my own liked songs as I was heading for one place and one place alone. The mall.
My plan here was to buy things here with money I asked from my Mom and the allowance Bakugo, original Bakugo had saved up probably for an expensive All Might Poster from what I saw on the notes on his phone.
Walking through the mall I find a store that fits my needs especially well.
It was a clothing shop…yea I need to get the U.A uniform and they sell it here. Walking into the store and going up to the desk I ring the bell to alert the cashier.
After…
Leaving with a bag of multiple spares and trying desperately to make space in my bag for it and eventually giving up on it and just carrying it normally until I found a good resting place. A café.
Taking a seat on one of the tables and asking for a coffee I grab out a note book that I had brought with me to school today.
'Hero Costume for U.A' it read the cover of the notebook as I opened to the first page and I pressed on the mechanical pencil I had and started to draw.
Drawing all the of the costume I had in mind it being very identical to the Hero's Rising Stealth Mission but with a couple of additional things that I needed to customize.
Looking up and down the costume I imagine myself wearing it and it's problems it could cause as either a functional problem or comfort problems.
This all the way to just make a in depth drawing of the costume due to help with Bakugo's natural good drawing that he had before I got here but with me knowing about the costume ahead of time helps make this very depth as sketching the basic costume took 30 minutes as I had to ask for more coffee as I had to finish it to stay in this comfortable seat.
Explosion such a versatile quirk now having to think over my quirk while working on the costume as I brainstorm over everything I knew about Bakugo and the show entirely but not writing it because if some managed to take this notebook they would have essential knowledge about the new hero generation.
Now yes I remember everything especially that Bakugo saying that he explodes the sweat of off him as said so again could that possibly be used all over…I let my mind wander as I unconsciously lean on the idea as an explosion a tiny one at that shook my attention as I turned to see a hole in my uniform by my shoulder.
"Ahh Sir you can't use your quirk here" a scared waitress said as I flinch and stand up and bow.
"I'm really sorry."
Getting back into the costume I was thinking about a DNA costume and now that I tested I could use my explosions anywhere on my body two things where essential in making this a good idea.
Get my DNA on all pieces of clothing
Get rid of the Grenade bracers and Grenade belt.
Yes I needed to to get rid of them unless I want a strong explosion to hit the fuel of the bracer exploding all the stored sweat and shooting into me with the belt grenades doing the same.
It would be a loss of power great power but but what it would give me was versatility and more movement on me not having those giant bracers weighing me down.
'Is there anything else I could get on here…oh wait' I flip the page quickly and start to list a couple things down.
The rundown essentially was about U.A tracksuit being made with my DNA it was a special request on me that I didn't know would work but it was worth a try.
'Oh yea I need a capsule with my DNA or a hair at the very least.' I look outside as the afternoon sun still shined.
'I have time'
Getting out of another store after searching for a capsule I quickly and painlessly took out a couple of stray hairs and put them into the capsule. 'That should take care of that' I though as I stuffed it in one of my many bag pockets.
Sighing a bit as I look towards the sky and see it dimming in light having now turned 6pm now the sun started to go down but by bit.
Walking around the mall now having many of the past residents not here there as a substantial decline in people but there still was people here. Turning my head as I heard the call of "New Record!" From a stop I turn fully to see a arcade.
'Wow…super cool it's sad they don't have arcades at the states as commonly as they do here. Overly intrigued I look at the arcade then at my hands and uniforms and I sigh and walk towards the arcade. 'Kill me later Mom…and future me'
Walking inside I see a specific thing I've been trying to find which was the token machine. Putting 2,000 yen into the machine it gave me a solid amount to pass some time but not a lot like I wanted.
I had a cup given to me by the stand next to the machine as I walk carrying everything with me that I still had as I found a machine that caught my interest.
It was a fighting machine and ohh I was completely amazing at video games. Though I didn't play them a lot I still was really good and picked them up fast and these knock offs have the same controls.
"If you're going to keep staring then you might as well sit down and get your ass handed to you." A voice said that I didn't expect to hear until a couple months said as I looked at the machine across the one I was looking at to see a man with a gray hoodie and khaki pants. His hair was mostly covered by the hood of his hoodie but his hair color looked like a gray-ish color and long. 'Oh my god Tomora Shigaraki…'
"Are you going to stand there like a dumbass are are you going to play?!" He asked getting a bit more annoyed.
I gulped and had a confident smirk on my face. "You're a Legion of Legends (League of Legends) player aren't you." I say with a amused grin on my face as he looked away embarrassed.
"And? What does that even mean!" He asked getting a bit more heated as I looked away to get rid of my amused smirk but painfully couldn't.
"Right let me beat you real quick." I said as I sat down and inserted a couple of tokens inside and I picked my character.
'Let's do this/Let me beat his ass real quick'
