Chapter Thirty-Three

~Kana's POV~

Kana made it to class very early the next morning and not in the best mood. She had woken up early thanks to nightmares continuously plaguing her dreams. There were her usual nightmares of seeing her mother dead as well as others of being chased by dark shadows as she ran through the night. The newest nightmare was seeing the League of Villains watching her while she was tied up in the chair back at the bar. Only instead of her just sitting in the chair, this time she had to endure everyone in the bar coming at her with intent to harm her. The last one was Shigaraki who had grabbed Kana's face with both hands. She'd felt herself start to disappear when she'd woken up, shaken and sweating.

You'd think after years of dealing with nightmares she would have gotten used to these kinds of things.

She had had a small moment of panic at not seeing her room at the Ugly House before she'd calmed herself down by reminding herself she was in her dorm room. Sadly, she'd never gotten used to waking up in random places thanks to all the travelling they did. Her dorm room was smaller than her room at the Ugly House, but she didn't mind it as it held all the things that she liked. It helped to calm her down faster, but she hadn't been able to go back to sleep. Kana had laid in bed for an extra hour before she'd finally given up and gotten up to shower. She'd made a heat up sandwich and some calming tea before she ate it on her balcony surrounded by her plants and wind chime. Considering she didn't have to rely on Shina dropping them off anymore Kana felt safe in knowing that she could just teleport to class if needed so she was in no rush.

At least she wasn't until her phone chimed making her click it on to see a text message from James.

'Don't you dare teleport to class. Get your butt up now or I'm coming to sit on you.' Kana rolled her eyes as she responded.

'I'm up. And you wouldn't dare furry boy.' The response was immediate and not enough time for Kana to take another bite of her breakfast sandwich.

'Of course I would. Have you met me?' Kana rolled her eyes. She had intended on eating her sandwich and drinking her tea in peace but apparently that wasn't an option as she could feel her annoyance spark to life.

'Sadly yes I have. Can I have a refund now?'

'No refunds, no exchanges.' Kana sighed as she got up and tossed her breakfast before she grabbed her bag and left her room. She really wasn't in the mood to talk with anyone yet, it was too early. Unfortunately, she had no choice as her phone continued to buzz thanks to her brother being annoying. Guess someone had given him some caffeine. Kana sighed as she pushed the elevator button that would lead her down to the first floor but when the doors opened she paused. Bakugou was in the elevator as well.

"Uh, hi." Kana greeted as she got on the elevator. She and Bakugou hadn't talked at all since they'd been 'rescued' from the League. He glared at her but for the most part they didn't talk. Not that this was much of a difference but Kana could feel the tension between them. Kana resolved that she didn't care if he talked to her or not, her goal was just trying to make it through the day without falling asleep in class. Kana felt her phone vibrate again and she glanced at it to see,

'Get your scrawny butt down here or I'll hide all your art supplies and change the code to your vending machine.'

'My butt is not scrawny!' Kana growled. 'And if you touch my things I'll kill you and hide the body somewhere no one will EVER find it.'

'You're right, I was confused. Your butts as big as a beach ball.' Kana glared at the screen of her phone before she shoved her phone in her bag.

"He's a dumb furry animal, he's a dumb furry animal, he's a dumb furry animal." Kana muttered under her breath. She ignored the phone in her bag vibrating.

"What's your problem?" Bakugou demanded. Kana glared at him.

"Boys are idiots." She stated as the elevator doors opened.

"Who are you calling an idiot?" Bakugou growled getting in her face.

"You and the entirety of your gender." Kana hissed.

"No one said you had to live with us." Bakugou snapped.

"I can't exactly leave now can I?"

"The doors open, leave." Bakugou yelled.

"Fine!" Kana shouted as she bit her tongue. She formed a portal just outside the elevator and literally fell into classroom 1A. She closed the portal and threw her bag into her chair harder than necessary

"Kana, surprised to see you here so early." Aizawa spoke. Kana resisted the urge to snap at him as she took a deep breath. She was just tired and annoyed at James. She shouldn't have gone off on Bakugou and it wasn't fair for her to go off on Aizawa. She let out her breath.

"I didn't have anything else to do at the dorm." Kana answered slowly as she sat down. Aizawa hummed before he went back to doing whatever he was doing. Kana merely rested her head on her bag and closed her eyes.

She didn't realize she'd fallen asleep until someone slammed something heavy down onto their desk. Kana jerked up and awake, glancing all around her.

"Geez you were tired huh?" James' voice came from behind her. Kana groaned as she rubbed her eyes clear. She ignored everyone and everything as she pulled out her notebook and pen and focused on the board where Aizawa was silently watching the classroom. He stood up to gather everyone's attention, making the already silent classroom, even more quiet.

"Good morning everyone. We're going to get right into what today is all about. As I mentioned yesterday our primary goal now is to get you your provisional licenses." Kana vaguely remembered Aizawa saying this, however she hadn't been able to think more on it with all the moving and decorating she'd done for her room. She was kind of regretting not looking into this more.

"Yes!" The class's excitement jumped up at this so Kana supposed it was something to be happy about. Kan wrote down a note to herself to look into this exam more for future references.

"Hero licenses are inextricably tied to the saving of lives. So one must be properly qualified for such responsibility. Naturally the test is incredibly difficult. Even for provisional licenses, on average we only see a 50% success rate." Kana felt her eyes widen at the information. Her anxiety jumped as she wondered if she would even be able to qualify for her license. This was like getting her driving permit in the US all over again.

"The provisional licenses sound tough." Yuto murmured.

"That's why as of today, each of you must come up with at least two…" The classroom door opened and in came Midnight, Cement Toss and Ectoplasm.

"Ultimate Moves!" Midnight finished for Aizawa. Aizawa sighed like he was tired of his coworkers butting in on his speeches.

"OH MAN!" Kirishima stood up in excitement making Kana lean backwards as he did sit right in front of her and his chair practically bumped into her desk. Kana leaned around Kiri to see the teachers continue to inform them about 'ultimate moves'.

"This is like a school thing but also a hero-like thing to do!" Sero exclaimed as he'd also jumped up. Vaguely, Kana wondered how she was friends with such enthusiastic boys.

"Ultimate moves," Ectoplasm spoke. "These are your finishers. Your most unique techniques." Now that caught Kana's attention.

"Internalize these moves, make them your own until they become unparalleled." Cementoss stated. "Combat is all about finding and making use of your particular strengths." Kana nodded following along. Nikolai had taught them this when they'd started training with Kira and her band of assassins. An opponent was only strong until you found their weak spot. In which case, if Kana was understanding this right, the teachers wanted them to come up with a move that would finish their opponents they ended up fighting against. This was going to require some serious thought as Kana hadn't thought about this much. With her portals, there really was only one thing that she could think of off the top of her head and that involved having her enemy fall through multiple portals until they got so disoriented that she could easily take them out.

"Kana are you coming?" Kana snapped out of her thoughts when Kiri nudged her shoulder gently.

"Huh?" She saw everyone getting up and going to their outfits. Guess that meant they were going to jump into training. "Oh, yeah, right." Kana quickly gathered her notebook and pen, throwing them in her bag before she went to grab her suit.

"Training Kitchen Lab. TKL for short." Aizawa introduced after everyone had entered the gym. It looked like a regular old gym with dirt flooring to Kana. She figured with Cementoss here though, they were going to change the landscape.

"This facility was my idea." Cementoss announced as he knelt down in front of them a few ways out. The terrain started to change as large blocks of ground started to surface. "Here I cook up the perfect terrain and objects to fit each student's needs. Hence 'kitchen'."

"I see…" Denki murmured.

"May I ask a question?" Iida asked, practically jumping up. It never failed to amuse Kana how Iida was such a teachers pet about school. Kind of reminded her of James when he was in that mood.

"Please explain the intention behind such a requirement. Why must we create ultimate moves to get our provisional licenses?"

"All in good time." Aizawa stated. "Heroes deal with all kinds of things, accidents, catastrophes, disasters both manmade and natural. It's our job to save people from just about any solution imaginable. In the licensing exam, your ability to adapt to those situations will be observed, naturally." Kana knew she would be okay in this exam at hearing this. She and her brothers did have real-life experiences dealing with heroes while evading capture. Course, she didn't think they were really expecting this. Good thing she wasn't going to go telling them this. "Intelligence gathering, decision making, mobility, combat prowess, as well as charisma, communications kills, leadership abilities, etc. The test contents vary from year to year, but applicants are always tested on a variety of criteria."

"Among the criteria," Midnight continued. "You can be sure that combat prowess will be heavily prioritized for potential heroes. Be prepared, you've got nothing to fear. These moves could have a big impact on whether you pass or not."

"If you can keep a cool head and act with decisive, stable moves that means you have a high level of combat prowess." Cementoss stated.

"There's nothing that says your ultimate moves must be an attack." Ectoplasm said. "For example, take Iida's Reciproburst. That sort of extreme speed will be intimidating enough to be called an Ultimate Move."

"Is it really suitable to be an ultimate move?" Iida asked sounding like he was in fanboy mode about himself. Kana tuned this part out as she sunk into her own thoughts on an Ultimate Move that she could pull off.

Her portals weren't exactly something 'ultimate'. She could only two at a time if she needed them in battle. One big one if she was going long distance.

"Remember how Kamui Woods showed his stuff last week?" Midnight asked making Kana tense. She remembered the wood that had showed up and saved them before the League took them to the second battlefield with that disgusting gunk coming out. Kana flinched as she remembered the taste.

"Your summer camp was cut short, but the Quirk training we began there was part of the process of creating ultimate moves." Aizawa said. Kana wondered how this factored into his plans of the failed camping trip.

"In other words," Ectoplasm started to split himself up into more clones. "we're going to be using the last few weeks of summer vacation to help you prepare for the licensing exam and to hone your Quirks with some extra intense training."

"Oh joy." Kana sighed.

"But there's six weeks left of summer vacation." Mina groaned.

"This is gonna hurt." Yuto whimpered.

"As your quirks grow and you work into your ultimate moves, think about whether you need to alter your costumes. Use that Plus Ultra mentality to push beyond your limits." Aizawa ordered. "You ready?" Kana doubted anyone would listen if she said no, not really. Still, she supposed things could be worse. She could be stuck at the Ugly House with the League like Kira and Kai were.

Everyone moved to their own sections of the gym to start working on their Ultimate Moves. Kana herself was fidgeting in her suit, trying to get comfortable in it. The suit was going to need an upgrade soon. The pure whiteness of the suit was blinding and not good if she was going to be more 'Hero-like'. The fact that the suit's flexibility and loose form was an issue for her in battle, it kept getting caught on things if she was running. Not to mention she had some ideas regarding adding gloves to her outfit. Her hands took too long to warm up after she used her portals, and it was worse after she moved the portals around. She would need to add in some more pockets as well.

"You're thinking pretty hard." Kana blinked as Sero's voice caught her attention. He grinned at her as she turned to face him. "You thinking of some moves? Cause I could give some suggestions."

"You have some suggestions?" Kana asked, raising her eyebrow. "Like what?"

"Why don't you try making a portal cage kind of situation?" Sero asked, moving his hands in a demonstration of how Kana moved her hands to open portals. "You know, trapping a villain in a loop?"

"I've thought about it." Kana said slowly not wanting to admit that she had been practicing this on her own time. "But in order for me to do that I'd have to catch the villain in motion with no chance of stopping. Like if they're falling," Kana bent down and picked up a rock before she demonstrated by tossing the rock into the air and catching it in a portal and making another portal under it. The result was a rock that was stuck falling between the two portals, caught in an infinite loop with no way out. Kana cancelled the portals and allowed the rock to drop. "The problem is, most villains would figure out a way out as they're bigger and most villains usually have partners or a gang. I can only catch one person at a time before I'm out."

"Hmm, that's true." Sero sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. "So, what happens if your portals get too close together?" Kana grinned.

"Wanna see?" Sero smiled.

"Yeah."

"We're gonna need some space in that case. Come on." Kana and Sero walked over to the side where no one was training. Kana formed one portal and then made another portal four feet away.

"This is as close as I can safely do this. Once I get closer, you may want to watch out." Kana warned as she brought her hands together slowly. Sero and Kana watched, tense, as the portals came closer together. The edges of the portal which usually rippled with colorful cloudy smoke started to turn darker and Kana could swear she heard thunder. Sparks were starting to form the closer the portals got together before they got too close and the portals fused with a loud thunderous clap before they exploded. Kana and Sero hit the deck and covered their heads as the force of the portals combining send debris flying.

"WATCH OUT!" Kana glanced up as a big piece of rock from up above had cracked and was now falling down towards Kana and Sero. Kana felt adrenaline fill her body as she prepared to form a portal under her and Sero. The action wasn't needed as a loud explosion went off making Kana look up to see multiple shots of firepower destroy the large rock.

'What's Shina doing here?' Kana thought before she mentally slapped herself. 'Shina wouldn't be here.' Kana got up as the debris pelted the grounds lightly and her answer to the 'scattershots' was revealed as Bakugou landed on the ground in front of her.

"You idiot!" Bakugou growled. "Don't you know better than to go causing explosions? Were you trying to kill yourselves?"

"I had it under control." Kana snapped.

"Yeah," Bakugou rolled his eyes. "Looked like it from where I was standing." Instead of responding Kana bit her tongue and turned away from Bakugou. She wasn't in the mood to enter a yelling match with him. Instead, Kana turned to Sero.

"That's what'll happen when I do that."

"Didn't know you had that much power." Sero chuckled nervously, no doubt afraid of Bakugou's angry growling behind Kana.

"Don't ignore me idiots!" Kana glanced at Bakugou before she answered.

"Guess I got my new move." She walked away from the boys. "I'll see you later Sero. I need to talk with the support department about a change in my gear."

"Sure, see ya Kana."

"HEY! I AIN'T DONE YELLING HERE NERD!" Bakugou yelled.

"Go yell at Deku you angry gopher!" Kana yelled back. It probably wasn't smart to antagonize him, but she wasn't in the mood to listen to Bakugou now. She just wanted to go back sleep.

~Shina's POV~

Shina had been lost in her thoughts almost all afternoon. She was trying to think of the current issue with her contract. Sure, it now extended to Kira, Kai, Yoshi and Kaito (Despite him being a toddler, Shina had included him as a way to keep him safe from any retaliation from the LOV in case he got too out of hand. Of course, if the Nara's messed this up, then it wouldn't really matter anymore.) Shina had thought about just following the contract until it came to it's inevitable end once society had been destroyed in Japan and no one cared about her or her kids names, but her conscience wouldn't allow that. She wasn't a hero by any means, but that didn't mean she was jaded enough to allow any innocents to die or get hurt. It wasn't part of her core beliefs.

The real problem for Shina was that she was torn between her want to be loyal to her employer and her personal want to get far away from this situation to keep her and her kids safe from the backlash. There had to be a way to somehow aid the League while also slowing them down. Course if there was a way, she would probably mess it up in some way, shape or form. It was a tough call as she wasn't sure what she could get away with that Shigaraki would believe was either coincidence or an accident. It would ultimately help if he believed everything she told him but that was wishful thinking. She was sure he didn't fully believe her about the reason she hadn't warned the League about the Heroes attacking. This was going to take some delicacy. Something Shina didn't like as she preferred to be blunt about things.

A knock sounded on her door that had Shina coming back to her office. She blinked as she turned away from the sight of the garden outside.

"Come in." Shina called. The door opened and Kira poked her head in.

"Hey, Shigaraki is calling for you." Shina sighed and dropped her arms from her crossed position.

"When is he not?" Shina asked rhetorically. She walked over to the door.

"He's kind of demanding isn't he?" Kira asked in Russian as she fell into step with Shina.

"Considering he's the leader I'm pretty sure he has a reason to be." Shina replied drily as they crossed through the front hall. "I know I am at times." Through the Dining Room's glass double doors Shina could see a widespread buffet lay before the League thanks to Chef Wolfe. Twice, Mange and Spinner were chowing down while everyone else took their time.

"I meant for you." Kira clarified. Shina glanced at her newest minion. Kira's two toned eyes were steady as she spoke clearly. "Any new moves the League makes, he calls for you. He even called for you last night at dinner and that wasn't that much of a meeting about planning the next moves more of asking you about your thieving business."

"What's your point here?" Shina asked. A bad feeling had started to grow as Kira spoke. Shina had an idea of where this was going, although she really, really hoped this wasn't going where she thought Kira was taking this.

"I think he's a bit too familiar with you."

"He's appointed me as his left hand in the League." Shina replied uncomfortably as the feeling peaked. "Whatever he calls on me for is strictly to do with the League."

"Are you sure about that?" Kira asked as a sharp smile pulled at her lips. "Kai's told me James is thinking Shiggy's got more than 'professionalism' in mind." Shina clicked her tongue distastefully as she came to a stop just outside the dining room door.

"You teenagers gossip like old women. That's all there is, gossip. No truth to whatever James is hallucinating." Shina didn't find Shigaraki repulsive, but she wasn't going to be thrilled if something did happen with any of her 'colleagues'. Despite any flirting she did, that was all it was ever going to be, words. Of course, if what Kira was saying was truth, maybe she should also have a talk with Shigaraki about that. Shina pulled open the dining room door and nudged Kira inside. "You called?" She asked Shigaraki.

"About time." Shigaraki glanced at her before he looked back at the table. He had a full plate in front of him that didn't look like it was touched yet.

"Such a gentlemen to wait." Shina stated as she grabbed a bowl of grapes before she sat down at the table. "Although I doubt you had everyone's attention." She tilted her head at Twice and Spinner having what seemed to be a competition on who could eat more sushi. "What's on the agenda today? More exercises? Cause I have to compliment you, you're surprisingly flexible for someone who sits all the time."

"Can we get on with this before you two start flirting?" Dabi asked, irritably. Yeah she would need to have a talk with everyone about that at some point if even Dabi, Prince of Sarcasm, was making that comment.

"Told ya." Kira muttered from where she sat with Kai. Shina popped a grape into her mouth as she replied,

"Don't be jealous Dabs, I'd be glad to flirt with you any time." She winked for added measure. He glared.

"'No honor among thieves'." He muttered. Shina held a hand to her chest and adopted a wounded expression.

"Your words cut deep Bluey. They really hurt."

"Ooh," Toga cooed. "Dabi don't be so mean to a lady. She's obviously downgraded to adopt your homeless persona." Shina couldn't help the snicker that escaped as Kira and Kai both 'oohed' at the same time.

"Enough." Shigaraki ordered. Shina gave Dabi a wink before she indicated for Shigaraki to continue with this new meeting, intent on ignoring Kira's Russian mutterings. For the last week Shigaraki had been trying to come up with what they should do next, especially as their '#1 supporter and financer' had been arrested. Shina was just glad that the League hadn't destroyed anything on the property outside the training grounds.

"We need to start recruiting." Shigaraki said, gathering everyone's attention. "Now that All Might has announced his sudden retirement I doubt there will be that many criminals or villains that will be staying out of the light. The hero rankings have been shaken with this development, which means the #2 hero is now the #1."

"Would the villains even come out so quickly?" Mange asked. "Those cowards have been hidden even when the League started to attract attention."

"That's mainly because of Stain's appearance as well." Shina stated as she sipped her water. "Wherever the Hero Killer went, hero appearances surged and became more active. Of course, since he's out of the limelight, we may see some new villains, at least hiding in the alleys or shadows just waiting for someone to come and bring them out of hiding."

"Why should we recruit those who hide from the stage?" Compress asked. "If they aren't willing to come forward themselves, do we want them?" Shina eyed Shigaraki as he answered this one.

"Yes." Shigaraki answered. "They may have hidden potential that's being oppressed right now. If we were to find them and enlighten them, I'm sure we could help our own rankings as well as whatever agenda they have. It is, how we found you all."

"Even so, Endeavor isn't the #2 hero for nothing." Kai stated. "Or #1 now I guess. What makes you certain he won't be able to rise to the occasion and just be another Beacon like All Might?" Shina rolled her eyes as she leaned back into her chair.

"Loathe as I am to talk about that burning trashcan." Shina stated with some disgust. "He's not All Might, and he never will be. There's a reason he's only ever made it to #2."

"You gotta chip on your shoulder about him or something?" Toga asked. Shina shrugged.

"Let's just say my first impression of him wasn't proven wrong even after the second meeting." Shina flashed back to meeting Endeavor in the halls of the UA stadium after running into him and his son. Which reminded Shina. "Why haven't you tried to go after his son?"

"Which son?" Shigaraki asked.

"The younger one." Shina clarified. "Shoto. From what I've been told and witnessed, he's not exactly a fan of his old man. Given the right incentives, he could potentially turn against him and act as a mole." Shigaraki hummed in thought.

"You don't have the mind that he would become a villain?" Compress asked. Shina shrugged.

"Maybe if we had gotten to him before the UA Sports Festival he could have turned villain. However he was given an outlet to use the anger and resentment against Endeavor and turn it into something else to fuel his 'heroic's' so I doubt we would have much of an impact to turn him into a true villain. Of course, if you push the right buttons, anyone can slip into the cracks."

"Wouldn't that just make him out to be another hero?" Toga asked. "That's all UA seems to produce." Shina glanced at Shigaraki before she continued her thought on this.

"From what I've gathered from my clansmen and from my personal meeting with the boy, I'm guessing he didn't have a happy home life, especially with the scar on his face. Trauma like that isn't something you just forget and forgive overnight. If he's been abused then there's a possibility that his siblings would also be abused as well. Depending on how bad it is, it wouldn't be favorable to be the one who did the abusing if the victims turned against him."

"You sound like you have experience in that area." Dabi stated. Shina met his eyes and noted that he looked, different for some reason. Shina wasn't sure why this topic would upset him, if he was upset, but she supposed it was due to the topic of trauma.

"Everyone experiences trauma at some point in their life." Shina stated, any trace of teasing or sarcasm gone from her tone. "Some worse than others."

"Are you sure about that?" Shigaraki asked. Shina turned her attention to him. She assessed his expression before she nodded.

"Fine. I trust you to plan out the best way to get close to Endeavor's children. If you can't turn them to our cause then eliminate them." Shina blinked before she raised an eyebrow at him. "What?" He grunted.

"I don't kill." Shina reminded him slowly.

"Fine, then take them off the board in your own way." Shina thought about it before she nodded.

"That I can do." She wouldn't harm Shoto and she really didn't want to hurt his siblings. Shina guessed she should start making plans to have Endeavors kids 'disappear' if the time came.

"I'm a little confused." Kira spoke up. "On the subject of recruiting. How did you want to proceed with this? Won't they already be aware of who we are and what we're doing, why would we need to include others who already have their own agendas? Shouldn't we be looking for like-minded individuals?"

"I'm sure we could come to an understanding." Shigaraki stated.

"So, you want us to find the 'diamonds in the rough', so to speak," Kai stated slowly, "And get them to join us? Do we look sociable to him?" Kai switched to Russian at the last sentence, directing this to Shina who snapped.

"Kai be nice. I'm sure he has some plan in mind about this." Shina then decided to ask, "Why not just let Giren and I take care of the recruiting? We've done it before." It's how they had got who they had now, well half of them anyway. The other half who'd been arrested at the UA camping disaster were now in Tartarus.

"That way was too slow." Shigaraki stated. "If all of you were to find new recruits it would double our time to filling our ranks. And with how famous we've gotten recently; we could have the potential to recruit more if we split up." Shina had to give it to Shigaraki, despite his set back, he'd managed not to wallow too long. With All for One behind bars, they were lacking some massive firepower that recruitment could help fix. Of course, that just made them sitting ducks right now. Not to mention their potential recruits wouldn't be verified by Shina or Yoshi until it was too late.

"So where would you suggest we start looking? Or do you have specific prefectures you want us to look through?" Shina asked.

"You have your own mission. If you could work with your tech boy to find us the best possible routes we can start searching there for new recruits." Shigaraki stated as he stared her down. Shina nodded slowly. Yoshi wasn't going to like this; he'd finally managed to find some time to get caught up on his shows.

"What if we're caught?" Mr. Compress asked. "I don't doubt that we'd be able to break out, but would it be wise to call that much attention to ourselves?"

"I'm sure Shina could help get you out if that came to it." Shigaraki stated. Shina mulled the thought over as she took another bite of a grape.

"I may have something that'll help, but I don't think I'll have it ready until at least tomorrow." Shina looked at Shigaraki. "If you can wait that long to dispatch everyone I can have some cellphones prepped that will be linked with an emergency button installed just in case."

"Can't we just kill whoever catches us?" Toga whined.

"Sure." Shigaraki shrugged. "But that would be drawing unwanted attention. It would be better if we laid low for now." Toga slumped in her seat. "Shina you have until tomorrow to get whatever you have in mind to help us if we're caught." Shina nodded before Shigaraki released them.

"Kira," Shina called before she could get up. "I need your help."

~Kira's POV~

"I hesitate to use this word, but I beg your pardon? You want me to what?" Kira asked when Shina had explained to Kira what she wanted her to do. They were currently in Shina's room as Shina had figured the best place to explain was out of earshot of the League. Kira for her part was still in shock about what Shina had just told her.

"I'm pretty sure you know what I want you to do." Shina stated drily. Kira got up off the bed and started to pace as she thought about it. She could see why this sort of made sense, but why her? Kai was certainly able to do this. Kira paused in that thought as she thought about her twin. Shina had probably chosen the better person to do this, Kai would no doubt mess it up by killing everyone. But still, she'd never done anything like this before.

"You want me to… basically tease my target?" Kira scrunched up her face as she voiced this aloud. "I'm not someone who plays with her targets, I'm a killer, I'm not that psychotic. Why can't you just ask Toga?" The blond girl was certainly fun to be around given how she understood homicide. Kira could see her and Toga becoming friends on par with Kana and Kira's relationship.

"One, you've met her." Shina stated, counting off her fingers as she worked to get Kira to do what she wanted her to do. "Two, the UA kids know of her. Three, I honestly doubt she could fake feelings that well. I've seen her go off about Izuku when given the chance. Which brings be to four, I sincerely doubt Toga would be able to get close enough to Izuku without breaking character. Five, you've been trained for this by the older generation back at 'Camp'. "

"So have you!" Kira protested.

"And I'm too old for this." Shina stated simply.

"What about Kana?" Kira asked, she was concerned at how panicky she was sounding about this. She needed to get a grip on herself. This was not how an assassin of her caliber should act.

"She's already on a job and she can't act on this without putting her brothers in jeopardy of being found out. Plus, she has the social aspect of this mission covered." Kira growled before she pressed a finger to the middle of her forehead and took a deep breath as she thought about this again. This should be simple and honestly, it was. What she was hesitating about, was the fact that she wasn't allowed to kill her target. Course, she could pretend this was training of her own. Best not to let Shina think she was giving in so easily.

"You want me to 'get close' to Shoto Todoroki, enough to assess his power abilities and what it would take to turn him on his father and leave the hero way of life?" Kira asked, doubt heavily covering her tone. "This is the dumbest plan I've ever heard."

"Yeah I can attest that this is dumb as well." Shina sighed as she got up to pat Kira's head. Kira didn't bother to brush her away, she simply leaned into the head pats. Unlike everyone else, Kira liked affection. "But I can't see any 'normal' way of getting close to the boy without alerting someone to my motives. Kana or one of the boys can get close to him in school and in the dorms but you could also test him when he's doing his internships with Endeavor. I on the other hand, can look into his siblings myself."

"I thought the UA kids were in the dorms to prevent them from being 'accessed' by the villains?" Kira asked, glancing at Shina.

"Your right, but when someone tries to clam up something or someone, there's usually an obvious weakness that can be exploited. In this case, that would be the internships that UA is allowing the students to do to obtain additional experience while also training for their Provisional Licenses." Kira supposed that made sense and honestly, Shina was right. Teenagers tended to run wild in some way, Kira knew that firsthand.

"What about the plan to ditch the League?" Kira asked in Russian. Shina responded in the same language.

"I'm working on it. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to need the help of a certain hero." Kira frowned.

"Who'd risk their neck to help with this?"

"I'll let you know when I manage to bring him into the fold." Shina said. "For now, we should go visit Yoshi." Kira nodded, turning to the door to walk to Yuto's room where Yoshi had his set up.

"What did you have in mind to help the League if they get in trouble?" Kira asked.

"It's something that James brought to my attention when he was on his first internship." Shina explained. "The kids had a run in with the Hero Killer Stain and when they sent out an alert, they texted each other. I figure texting takes too long, especially for villains, so I'm going to have Yoshi program some cellphones with a 'panic' button' installed. It would be easier and quicker so that the closest group can go and help in a pinch."

"That would mean we'd have to be relatively close to everyone else." Kira frowned. "The city is large."

"That's what Kurogiri can help with, whenever he decides to show up again." Shina muttered. "Since we don't have Kana, we can have Kurogiri teleport everyone around if needed." Kira nodded in understanding as she touched the doorknob. She hesitated only long enough to face Shina and say,

"I'm a bit scared of you if you ever decided to turn full villain." Shina's evil smile had Kira feel a tiny bit of fear run down her spine.

"I know. James has said the same thing at one point as well. Trust me, as long as you kids are safe and well you don't have to worry about that." Kira nodded, silently resolving to never do anything too stupid that would cause Shina's inner villain to come out to play. "Hey Yoshi, I have a job for you!" Kira snorted as Yoshi's loud cry came.

"I JUST STARTED THE SEASON FINALE!"
