Emily Keener P.O.V.
I was stuck at the Cairo Museum of Natural History. I saw a blue van speeding away from the museum parking lot. By the time I made it outside of the museum, the strange blue van had already disappeared. I didn't know where my brother Harley was. My name is Emily Keener. I'm Harley Keener's younger sister. I have long beach blonde hair with bangs. I am a Caucasian human girl. I wear glasses with purple colored frames. I have blue eyes. I was currently wearing a pink Hello Kitty T-Shirt with white pants. I walked away from the museum. Here I was, in an environment that I was unfamiliar with. I really wished that I had gotten into that blue van like my brother had. Then, I wouldn't have been all alone like I was now.
I walked through the city of Cairo, Egypt. I didn't really know anything about Egypt, other than it was a country in Africa and that it's ancient history was massive. I've seen a couple of the old black and white Mummy movies from Universal. I learned about Egypt from those movies that I'd watched with Harley. I was scared. I've never been all alone like this before. I was almost never alone. I was almost always with either my mother, Harley, or the people in my elementary school. This was the first time that I was truly alone. I continued to walk down the streets of Cairo. I didn't have any money and had no idea of how to do a bank transaction. So, I did the only logical thing I could do: steal money form other people. I had no other choice. I needed money to get food and necessities.
I walked up to the nearest person and fished out his wallet, where I took out some coins and some euros. I ran away from the person whose money I stole and ran off. I eventually stopped running after a while. I looked around the town for a restaurant. I spotted a nearby restaurant. I entered the restaurant. There were a lot of people in the restaurant. A bunch of anthropomorphic animals. I walked up to the counter. A female coyote was behind the counter.
"How may I help you?" the female coyote asked me.
"I would like a table please." I said to the hostess.
"Table for how many people?" The hostess asked.
"Just one." I said. The hostess looked at me. She had a perplexed look upon her face.
"I don't know if I can serve a little kid like you without a parent or guardian aboard." the female receptionist said.
"I have money." I said. I grabbed my money that I was forced to steal from some random people and gave it to the hostess. The hostess guided me to my table. It had somebody sitting at it. I sat down next to this person. It was a male anthropomorphic red fox who was reading a newspaper. I looked at the headline. It read: The Klaww Gang steals Clockwerk parts. The Cooper Gang tries to steal them back. Beneath the headline was a picture of the Cooper Gang's van. I recognized it from the various times that my older brother Harley had played the Sly Cooper games on his PlayStation 2. That was the van that my brother had gone into.
I nudged at the fox who was reading the newspaper. The fox folded his newspaper in half. I could see his face. The fox looked like he was in his late twenties. He had a police badge on the left side of his chest. He was wearing a police uniform. It was blue. The fox looked young. He looked to the right of him and saw me sitting next to him.
"Hi there, little girl." the vulpine police officer said to me. "What are you doing out here all alone? Where are your parents?"
"My father ran away from our family when I was very young." I told the fox cop. "My mother is also dead." I couldn't tell the cop the real reason why my mother died. He wouldn't believe me if I told him that my mother, along with half the population of my world was gone. He would said that I was crazy. Unbeknownst to the cop, I had a newspaper clipping of the horrific event that happened in my world.
"If your parents are dead, then what are you doing here in Egypt all by yourself?" The fox police officer asked me.
"Technically, I wasn't by myself. You see, I was with my older brother. His name is Harley Keener. Me and Harley ended up in a museum for no reason. We don't know how we ended up in the museum in the first place. Me and Harley saw a female fox cop interrogating a raccoon." I said to the cop.
"Was the raccoon wearing all blue clothing and was wielding a strange looking cane?" the cop asked me.
"Yes. How'd you know?" I asked.
"That raccoon is none other than the legendary thief, Sly Cooper!" the cop said. "My sister Carmelita Montoya Fox dedicated her career on capturing the Cooper Gang."
"Well, my brother Harley is with the Cooper Gang." I said to the cop. "At least I think he is. I don't know for sure."
"You want me to help you find your brother?" the cop asked me.
"Yes!" I said excitedly.
"Alright, I will be willing to help you locate your brother. If he is with the Cooper Gang, he won't be very far."
A waiter came by our table. I looked at the kid's menu at ordered some chicken tenders with fries while the cop ordered some generic dish that nobody cares about. We both ate our food. After we got done with eating our food, me along with Carmelita Fox's brother exited the restaurant in search of my brother Harley. I hoped that he was okay out there with the Cooper Gang.
