Hello, everyone! How are you? So, sorry for not uploading but I got into writer's block for this story and I was unable to finish the 20th chapter. Now, I'm writing the 21st chapter!

It's still in the Christmas period and I know it's going to be awkward and I'm sorry. I thought I would be able to upload all the Christmas chapters during Christmas but I didn't manage that.

Enjoy!

Be Somebody

Chapter 17: Breakthrough.

Nansia woke up with Lizzie shaking her awake and telling her that they should get ready to go to the library.

The girls tried to get ready as quietly as they could and Josie studied on her phone the public bus schedule and the nearest stop while Nansia made them coffees in their thermos and Lizzie made sandwiches and Hope was arranging the two backpacks they would carry with notebooks and laptop and one to hide food and drinks. Nansia had her own bag ready too.

Around 10 am they were out of the house just as Hope said she heard footsteps from upstairs signaling that one of the adults was awake.

The girls run to the bus stop and were just in time for the bus. Paid for their tickets and sat next to each other and they started to eat their breakfast while looking around them.

Nansia said she loved the snow and Hope with Lizzie shook their heads in no saying how they liked autumn and summer more while Josie said she loved the spring more but tolerated the winter.

Hope complimented both Nansia's and Lizzie's coffee and sandwich-making skills. In 45 minutes they were in their stop and Nansia threw thanks and happy holidays to the driver as they jumped off the bus and Nansia saw the driver wave and smile at them in thanks.

Josie guided them to the library with Google Maps and the girls saw that library was relatively small yet many students were inside.

"Everyone is a supernatural being." Hope whispered in awe as they walked inside and marveled at the grand structure of the building.

Nansia felt the very familiar feeling of calm wash over her just like every other time she stepped through a library.

She felt very calm, a calm that soaked through her bones and was hard for her to explain otherwise, washed over her whenever she entered libraries since she can remember.

The girls walked lost in the library while some people stared at them others just smiled warmly at them.

"How can I help you girls?" A voice scared them as a woman stood up from one of the huge tables where many college books were laid open and a huge notebook was in the middle of all the chaos and a water flask and a small lunch box were on the side.

"Um…we are looking for Mrs. Ingrid Marvin-Park?" Josie asked a little nervous and the woman before they smiled.

"I'm Ingrid, girls, how can I help?" She asked kindly then titled her head to the side and watched Josie face thoughtful.

"Josie? Is that you? Oh! My God! You've grown! And you change your hair! Oh! You look like a young woman now!" Ingrid exclaimed as she pinched Josie's cheeks and Josie stood awkwardly taking the assault while Hope and Lizzie had wide eyes and Nansia was giggling.

"And you must be Lizzie and Hope…and Nancy? No, Nansia! My niece talked about you too! It's so nice to meet you girls, how can I help?" Ingrid asked as she went around and gave warm hugs to everyone with a cheery smile and tone.

"If it's not a bother we would like to look for three things; Malivore, Watchers and how to transfer one's life force to an identical body as the owner's but without the said body to be connected or under the enslavement of a powerful being." Lizzie said with a serious and hesitant tone trying to be polite and not rush things. She wanted to find as much as they could today before Nansia called Ryan to check on him.

"Yes to all three but my, you three came prepared!" Ingrid said smiling a little less radiant since hearing what the kids asked she worried about what they got themselves into.

She led them through countless hallways full of books until they reached a section that eerily quiet and abandoned.

"Not many care for these books since no one is aware of their existence but a few people but in here you'll find everything there is about Malivore check this first and then come and find me to lead you for the rest." Ingrid said smiling as warmly as she could as she attempted to mask her concern and fear.

"Are any of those books cursed? Like we trigger a cruse by touching them?" Nansia asked her as Ingrid made a move to leave. Nansia tone held suspicion and fear.

"No, no book here is cursed, knowledge should be free and safe amongst these walls for every species." Ingrid said with a serious face and tone and Nansia nodded in understanding.

Ingrid left them and went back to her own studies.

The girls went down to research mode, with notebooks and pens on fire.

"Guys, I found this; "At first, Malivore didn't have a personality, only an insatiable hunger to consume the supernatural creatures that it encountered; with the only exception to not to harm werewolves, witches, and vampires. As time went on with Malivore absorbing the creatures, it started evolving and becoming sentient. It eventually turned on its creators before they could dissolve Malivore effectively, and was heralded as a "god" for doing away with the creatures that harmed humans. Malivore also became lonely and desired a companion, but eventually rejected the creations it had made." Which according to our knowledge is Ryan." Josie read out loud as she held a huge book.

"Yeah, I found that too in our school's library and according to Ryan, he wrote that passage himself." Nansia said to Josie with a defeated sigh

"Why not attack werewolves, witches and vampires? From an outside perspective it looks like those three beings have caused the most havoc and human mortality through centuries." Lizzie asked deep in thoughts and Lizzie handed her the book she was holding.

"Josie, just said, it did the attack on them because it grew consciousness and saw the harm they were inflicting on the human race. Then he was hailed as a god by the humans." Hope said to Lizzie with a deep tired sigh as she looked at Lizzie with a glare.

Lizzie ignored Hope's glare but acknowledge with a nod the information given to her and flipped back and forth the book that she had in front of her, looking for anything that could help and she turned and pointed a passage once she did found something and read out loud;

"Golems are a rare, supernatural species that was created by the species that was sired and created by a witch, a werewolf, and a vampire, this species started with Malivore's creation. Although, Malivore has been witnessed in the span of many years to be able to create his own being, imperfect and powerless golems that resemble humans they can't father or mother any children. The creation of Malivore was an attempt to defend a region of land that was plagued by dragons, a species no match for any known supernatural factions, millennia or so ago."

The girls looked at Lizzie deep in thoughts.

"Golems…how do we defeat a golem? Is it the same as Malivore or the golems are defeated the same way Malivore is and how is Malivore defeated? It was created by creatures that we do know their weaknesses, it must be something…some weakness all three have hence Malivore might have it too…" Hope said as she eagerly stood up and run to grab a book she had seen earlier.

"Hope, Malivore is like…like your dad is for vampires…sorry but you must understand that…they don't have the same weaknesses." Nansia said in a wise tone and she cleared her throat as she saw Hope's flinch at the mention of her dad.

At the Lizzie went back to flipping through the book only to find another passage and started reading out loud;

"According to Doctor Ryan Clarke told in his research journals in 1870, Malivore's primal and nature-induced weaknesses in order to uphold cosmic balance, its weaknesses are consumption and blood of a werewolf, witch and a vampire coming from the very same bloodline as they were his creators." Hope read proudly and loudly as she held the book. The girls watched her with hope lighting up in their eyes.

"Consumption?" Josie asked confused.

"Overeating, Jo, it must mean that if he overeats monsters he gets weaker and weaker giving us a chance to fight back." Lizzie explained in a sigh.

"So, I'm the loophole?" Hope asked horrified.

"Yes, it seems…but you have to activate your vampiric side too which means dying. Oh! God! Sorry, I didn't mean it like that, Hope!" Lizzie spoke too quickly with a tone that showed emotional detachment. Only for a second after the words departed from her mouth she clapped it shut with her hand and with wide eyes she looked at Hope and then quickly added an apology.

Nansia's attention wasn't on what was happening around her but on the new information when she jumped to her feet and run towards Ingrid's desk.

"Hey, um…do you have a book that shows spells for DNA alteration for a brief time? And of spells to conjuring the strongest fire there is?" Nansia asked her urgently and Ingrid confused and caught off guard nodded and pointed to the C section isle 3.

She run towards it and started going through the titles of books when she froze before a book, orange cover and looked pretty warn out.

She grabbed it and opened looking for a title or anything that would give her an idea of what was this book about.

Then she saw a small dedication;

To my beautiful and smart wife, a woman destined to turn the world upside down the correct way. – R.C.

"Seriously?" She chuckled as she realized that R.C. stands for Ryan Clarke. Then she started to look through the book that looked to have similar information as any other book about golems and Malivore.

When she remembered she had to look for one more book and she went back browsing. She found an olive green book named;

"Incantations Of The Elements"

She grabbed them and run back to the girls. Where she was asked where she went only to start pitching her idea.

"What if we create a golem ourselves then infuse it with Original vampire blood from one of your uncles or aunts, add your blood for original werewolf and witch blood and then we throw him into Malivore then we create hellfire, the strongest and deadliest fire in existence. Of course all that will happen once he's weak enough from consumption. We then start throwing fireballs its way." Nansia pitched her idea which got the girls thoughtful. Then Nansia show them the passages she had found.

"How did you come up with such a plan?" Josie asked her amazed but a little unsure.

"While Hope was talking about her being the loophole and dying I remembered that golems are essentially empty vessels, we can create a different loophole." Nansia said as she pointed at the book about the alteration of DNA through spells and the girls went back down to researching the plan in depth.

The Previous Night: Hospital:

Elena came out of another 4-hour surgery and she headed straight to the vending machine as she left the doctor let the worrying family members know about their loved one's condition when she noticed a shadow staring at her from down the hall.

She jumped when her coffee was dropped by the machine and turned to pick it up when she turned back the shadow was gone.

She thought that it was her tired mind playing tricks on her so she decided to get some coffee. As she headed out of the hospital's cafeteria she saw a man looking through the hospital's map.

"Sir, can I help you?" Elena asked kindly as she studied the man before her. He looked around his mid-forties maybe hitting fifty years old, he had oddly familiar brown-greenish eyes and his stance showed anxious and worrying behavior. Elena took pity in the man since there must be no good reason he's here. It's not a bar it's a hospital.

"Yes, I'm looking for Doctor Salvatore?" He asked a little lost as his eyes gravitated from the map to her and then back to the map.

"That would be me, sir, how can I help?" Elena asked him with a small yet kind smile.

"Um…nice to meet you, I'm Colin O'Connell and I'm here regarding my daughter, Nansia?" He said with a voice that showed both confidence and a little uncertainty.

Elena's stance changed from welcoming to defense very quickly and looked at him.

"Excuse me? I know no Nancy, sir. Have a good day." Elena said trying to cover the panic in her voice but allowed the confusion to leak in her tone. She was confused Nansia, Alaric and Jeremy had told her and Damon that her dad was in a different dimension how the fuck is he here?

Elena walked as fast as her human legs could take her to go back to the doctor's lounge to get her phone and call Jeremy or anyone available.

She needed answers!

Colin didn't give up, he didn't just spend two decades looking for his two kids through various dimensions! He wanted answers too! How did she end up here? Was she like him? Was she like her mum's family? Where is her brother?

As Elena walked inside the doctor's lounge there was a Code Blue in the ER and she had to dash, she spent hours upon hours tending to patient after patient. The encounter pushed at the very back of her head in order to do her job right.

It was very early the next day when Elena changed from scrubs to civilian clothes and walked out of the hospital squinting at the sunlight that came into contact with her tired eyes.

She walked through the parking lot half expecting to see Colin man and half praying that he wasn't there because she was too tired to lie efficiently or have any sort of social interaction at the moment.

She drove as carefully as she could knowing that she shouldn't be driving this tired but she didn't want to wake anyone up to come and get her.

As she arrived home everyone was asleep still so she quietly prepared for bed and joined Damon who sleepily hugged her and Elena finally gave in to the tiredness.

Colin was not having a good day. After the time that he managed to track Nansia down and was late to dinner with his family, his wife, Magda, was asking questions. She was understanding with the twins births and how alcohol and drugs and loud music at concert can make you do unwise choices plus they were just married yet they already had a ten year-old son who stayed at grandmas in this dimension while him and Magda had moved dimensions in order for him to do his job, protect his charge, Maria.

Maria was a woman that had darkness surrounding her yet you couldn't stay away, her wise words and knowledge fooled you into becoming her friend and then falling in love with her.

She was a kind person but with a rage of a bull, ironically. Colin didn't fall for her but he was bewitched by her beauty and the drinks, smoke from drugs and the atmosphere of the concert pushed him to the wrong choice.

When she learned that she was pregnant she contacts him and made sure to let him know that she was nearing the choice of abortion but both her parents and him were against it, mostly because her parents wanted a grandchild already and because he felt it was wrong.

Maria wasn't pleased to be forced to continue the pregnancy but with the months she came to enjoy being pregnant until she realized she was carrying twins. She freaked out. She learned they were a boy and a girl and the girl looked weak while the boy looked healthy and strong.

She wanted a son not a daughter, Declan and Magda were supportive of her and she stayed with them for the whole pregnancy Magda refusing to allow her to fly in her condition even if it was awkward at first but Magda and Maria warmed up to one another through the months.

Then she gave birth, the son died and Maria hated her daughter. Then her father died and she blamed her daughter. From the moment her daughter was born all the people she cared about either left her or died. Colin was willing to fly between Greece and Ireland to help with the child but Maria blamed him for her son's death, blamed him for forcing her to become a mother and be pregnant when she had a choice, for taking the choice away from her.

She left him and made sure to drop off the grid. Colin was taken off her case as a Watcher and Magda and him moved back to Earth 4 and tried to work on their relationship and focused on their existing son.

Yet Colin never stopped trying to find his daughter or grieving for the son that he lost. When he closed eleven years of looking for Nansia a friend of his and a fellow Watcher told him about a sketchy mission he was on. A mission to retrieve a newborn child of a witch descent and hand it to an Elder that was now shunned for working alongside flesh trafficking of supernatural beings in the highest bidder and black market or the dark web.

Colin travelled back in time and witness his twins' births and noticed how his son wasn't dead, he was taken and sold to the black market of Earth 5 and taken by a couple witches that had tried everything for a child but this route. They had good intentions of raising him yet they died in a car crash and the boy found himself in another town in California. The couple were two film directors returning from a month abroad shooting a plot for HBO when they crashed in the highway returning from the airport.

He spent years trying to track him and his daughter down but he was being unsuccessful until this Christmas.

He wasn't going to give up just because this woman named Elena would keep him from her and his other son.

While Elena was at work and the girls out for coffee: Salvatore Residence:

Stefanie, Bonnie and Caroline sat and watched a bunch of Christmas movies while eating countless bowls of pop-corn and mini chocolate bars to the point Stefanie whined about her tummy and went to grab an apple from the fridge.

Then they made three bowls of fruit salad and resumed the movie.

Jeremy was at the back practicing his archery and doing some light workout before headed for a shower and then stayed in his room video-chatting with some hunter friends of his who were on the road to keep them company. Then he let Damon know that Elena had gone in for an emergency.

When Damon returned from dropping off the girls he joined the girls in a movie marathon and then he made a few more sustainable snacks for all of them. Then he sat out back with Jeremy drinking some beer and looking at the sky chit-chatting while the girls were laughing loudly at some movie.

It was around 10 pm when Jeremy went to get the girls and grabbed some takeout, they spent the rest of the night eating as they exchanged how they evenings went but the girls held back a lot which did go un-noticed by the adults.

Then everyone fell exhausted to bed sleeping instantly.

Prague: Day After The Bonfire and onward:

Ryan had spent the last two days touring around Prague and its outskirts and small villages with a tour group after tour group filling SD cards one after the other with landscapes and videos of him voicing his thoughts on his day and the place he visited to show it to Nansia.

Ryan remembered that back in the 1980s he had met a young man named Fabian Castello, a witch, and they had struck up a conversation and later a friendship with letters and emails. He had reached out to him through an email to let him know that he was visiting for two weeks if he wanted to meet for dinner or coffee some time and left his hotel's address and phone number.

Well, this morning he woke up to his phone ringing and Fabian's voice surprised him in the other side of the line inviting him to his family home for a BBQ party with the rest of the witch community of Prague. He was nervous to be around other witches but he needed to have some fun.

As he was wearing his leather jacket and fixing his white shirt his phone pinged with a video message by Nansia sent to him via email due to its length.

He spent the entire train ride to Fabian's neighborhood watching it. He was shocked how Nansia had gotten the girls on board and even did research on so many things! He was disappointed that she didn't try to make contact with her ancestors just as much as she did to find a solution for Malivore and him.

No one cared for him that much before, it warmed his insides.

Just then the video changed to Lizzie talking by herself;

"Hey, Ryan, I stole Nansia's phone while she's working with Bonnie on contacting her ancestors. Firstly I want to tell you…fuck you and TRIAD Industries I fucking hate your guts. Now that is out of the way, I don't hate your guts just as much anymore, not after what Nansia told us. I'm sorry that I didn't think that you might be forced to send so many monsters our way. I'm willing to try and be somewhat of a friend to you since you mean a lot to Nansia and Nansia means a lot to you and I like Nansia." Lizzie said with a serious and threatening tone but by the end of her speech it had softened and a small smile played on her lips and her eyes shown with welcoming warmth.

He smiled and decided to reply to this message thoroughly once he was back from spending his day with Fabian because it deserved his full attention.

A lot of thoughts buzzed through his mind but mostly how do you create a golem and sire it then infuses it with vampire, witch, and werewolf blood? He had an idea of asking hypothetically other witches in the BBQ if he was well-received or wait until the party wind down to ask Fabian himself.

When he arrives the BBQ is in full swing and he is welcomed by Fabian and his wife Annalisa and their daughter Aurora. He's being introduced to everyone and he's been received very welcomingly. He tries to have fun but the new information of what they, Nansia and the girls, found is making him come up with various horror scenarios and it's freaking him out and doesn't allow him to enjoy himself fully.

Eight hours later, Ryan is drying his hands from washing the last of plates and champagne glasses when he turns to face the family who exhausted they are slammed around the table.

When he sat down and felt that he would burst if he didn't ask;

"I have a question, my friend." Ryan said with a heavy sigh.

"Anything, you saved my life from those agents throwing me to the godforsaken pit." Fabian said with a grateful tone and his back straightened and leaned in to listen to Ryan just as his wife copied him.

And somehow Ryan started talking and he couldn't stop like a river dame broken and without realizing himself the next words flew from his mouth;

"And because I'm in love with Nansia, I don't want to harm her or betrayed her and the people she cares about yet there's no other way of getting myself unbind from my father so I can be with her. I felt this spark in me the moment I saw her and when I talked to her on the bench I tried to shove it down while she told me her life story and what I did…what did I do? I torture her and call her liar. I don't deserve her yet I want to deserve her, I want to be worthy of her, and in order to do that my father must be stopped, destroyed. She is helping found a way and I was wondering how easy is to create a spell in order to create another golem and then infuse its DNA with vampire's, werewolf's and witch's blood."

By the end he had tears threatening to spill and Annalisa is holding his hand in a supporting manner only for her eyes to roll back and to have a vision.

After a minute of panicking in silence from Ryan's side Annalisa returns to her normal and with a disappointed tone she says;

"I'm sorry Ryan, but you can't create another golem. I must warn you that you are trading a road where sadness and despair will follow you and your beloved Nansia. I just had this vision of you with tears in your eyes confessing your love to Nansia before you and another shadow of a person jump into the pit. Nansia yells after you while she's been held back by another shadow that emits sadness and grief. Please, be careful. You will die." Annalisa told him with a serious and urgent tone as she squeezed his hand into hers and tears spilled from her eyes.

"In your vision, does Malivore find his demise?" Ryan asked after a small silence that was spent by looking at the wall opposite him lost in his thoughts as tears spill onto his cheeks.

"Yes. But so are you." Annalisa said as she held back her sob.

"I must do it." Ryan said as he tried to take a deep breath. He then excused himself to get some air in the backyard where he sat on the ground and cried, beat up the grass in anger in the unfairness of it all. He just wanted to live!

He then took out his phone and started replying to an email telling Nansia and effectively the girls about the fact that he hadn't found any leads seemingly lying to them, needing time to swallow the hard pill he was just given.

He then bid his goodbye to his friends who with sad smiles allowed him to leave.

An hour later he was in his hotel room and slept for an entire day only getting up to get the arranged room service and bathroom.

Atlanta; Salvatore Residence:

The girls spent most of their morning going over Malivore and they took photos and wrote down notes everything remotely new or relatively unknown fact about Malivore. Then they researched plan A that Nansia came up with to sire a golem and infuse it with a witch, werewolf, and vampire blood and maybe werewolf fang's poison for safety measure.

Then when Nansia told them her plan to infuse a newly sired golem and then once it was thrown into the pit Nansia conjure hellfire and burn it everything to hell which means that Nansia has to focus extra hard on her magic. So, then she show them the book of Incantation she found and showed the spell for the hellfire she had found. And now they needed to find a Plan B which was a very hard process;

"What should we do if siring a golem doesn't work? What do we do?" Josie asked anxiously as they have taken a break from the books and were relaxing at a restaurant near the library and they were having a few tortillas for lunch and Coca-Cola while they were seeing snow falling outside.

"Then I die and I jump inside, I'm the loophole…the plan B." Hope said with a disappointed tone and all three girls exclaimed no loudly causing some people to turn to look at them with confusion on their faces.

They apologized self-consciously and went back to eating and lowly discussing their plan B but the plan B was essentially be for Hope to jump into the pit and Nansia to conjure Hellfire.

None of them liked the plan but they were out of options. Once they were done eating they returned to the library and this time they moved to the Watcher section of the library. Unfortunately, the section of the library wasn't much of help because the Online Archives were more updated than the library so they moved to the next topic of research, transferring one's life force in one body and altering one's DNA without switching bodies.

This spell was easier since Hope recalled that a similar spell was done by her grandmother Esther to her uncle Kol, Uncle Finn and Aunt Rebekah when she was a baby, so she promised to look for that spell in her grimoire back at the Salvatore residence.

Their second stay in the library wasn't that long as the first one so when they walked out of the library and opened their phones again they saw countless missed calls from Lizzie's and Josie's parents and Jeremy and Damon, Bonnie and Elena looking for them. So, they quickly made their way to the house using the bus and being careful not to slip from the snow.

When they returned home the moment the keys were out of the door all the adults were expecting them in the living room with folded arms and disapproving looks. Then lectures started.

"How could you leave without leaving a note? Don't you know how dangerous it is? Don't you know what could happen to you?" Caroline yelled at them and Hope and Nansia remained quiet while Nansia bit her tongue.

She wasn't a kid, she hasn't been a child in a very long time but Lizzie, Josie, and Hope needed to hear that.

It had completely gone over her head to leave a note but still, they wanted to be a secret so she did the right thing for the girls but the wrong for the parents.

"We know, mum! We just spent the day at the library besides you have no right to yell at us, you are never here!" Josie yelled angrily at Caroline but that angers Caroline more and made Alaric sigh.

They couldn't know about the merge yet.

"Hope you should have known better!" Alaric yelled at Hope who furrowed her eyebrows in anger.

"How? How would she know, dad? She's closer age like us!" Lizzie defended Hope and exchanged a small appreciated look between them.

Nansia knew her turn was coming.

"That shouldn't keep her off the hook!" Alaric exclaimed in anger.

"Well, I'm sorry but we needed to do some old fashioned research for a project." Hope tried to explain and show it wasn't a big deal. That infuriated Caroline who laid her eyes to Nansia.

Για ποιον κτυπάει η καμπάνα! (For who are the bells are ringing!) (A/N: A Greek phrase can't be translated 100%)

"And Nansia you are the eldest you should have been wiser than this!" Caroline finished her Nansia part of her lecture.

"I am wiser but we needed to do old-fashioned research for a school project and we switched our phones off in order not to be distracted by social media. So, we did what we thought it would be wiser." Nansia said seriously with a tone that showed superiority and the three girls noticed how her tone of her voice and the stance of her body changed completely.

Her back was straighter and her tone was heavier and her voice sounded older. What was that?

Elena, Damon, and Bonnie stayed out of it since it didn't concern them parenting wise but Jeremy didn't know what to say to Nansia, he trusted her fully and saw her point of view.

"All of you are grounded until the new semester starts, whatever outing you have will only be with us and not by yourselves that goes for you, Lizzie and Josie, and Hope. Nansia's punishment is up to Jeremy. Hope I have been responsible for you since your parents died so that is why I'm punishing you and not some of your aunts or uncles." Alaric said with a very stern tone and the three girls groaned and protest but knew they couldn't be changed.

Jeremy called for Nansia in his room where this conversation happened;

"I know you are older and you know more stuff but you understood why they had to punish them and why they freaked out." Jeremy said with a serious tone and Nansia nodded understanding fully.

"I get it, I freaked out worse than them when I lost my sister in the supermarket when she was 3 years old and I was 8." Nansia said with an understanding nod and tone.

"I'm not particularly glad that you understand but you need to be punished to set an example so your punishment is to focus mostly on your magic and what you're doing with Bonnie during the times you would have time to go out with the girls but you will have time for yourself but screen time will be monitored to 6 hours per day, not counting the movie nights with the family." Jeremy said with the same serious tone and Nansia nodded and handed her phone to Jeremy to arrange a timer for the phone to shut off after six hours of usage and open again with a specific code that only Jeremy knew.

Nansia went to her room and looked at the ceiling not sure what to do or think and without realizing she fell asleep.

Nansia woke up the next day with Lizzie shaking her to wake up and letting her know that she had stood Auntie Bonnie up for ten minutes already.

Not liking the fact that she was interrupted from her heavy slumber she slammed her head back on the pillow allowing the open arms of sleep to take her but before she could surrender to its arms Lizzie's annoying voice rang through the upper floor of the Salvatore residence.

"Alright! I'll be down…hey! Lizzie, can you make me some coffee? Two and a half sugars, one coffee, and a lot of milk!" Nansia yelled after Lizzie and Lizzie did thumbs up.

Nansia fell back onto the pillow and groaned before she started her daily routine.

Thirty minutes later she held a coffee in hand and she was drinking it while Bonnie finished her yogurt.

"Sorry, I was late I had this very real dream…it was a past life dream and those drain me emotionally so I fell asleep again crying…" Nansia said awkwardly and apologetically and Bonnie looked at her shocked.

"I didn't know you were having past life dreams…for how long?" Bonnie asked interested and just then little Stefanie rushed to them and handed Nansia a plate of yesterday's cookies and a toast with a note;

"Heard your screams yesterday but I was too sleepy to be of help, this is my apology toast. – Hope"

Nansia smiled and started eating and explaining her history with past lives dreams and knowing things she wasn't ever exposed to.

It was four hours later when Nansia with a wide smile run upstairs and into Hope's room where Josie and Lizzie were playing UNO and she screamed;

"I SAW MY ANCESTORS! I WAS FAR BUT I SAW THEM! I'M GETTING CLOSE GUYS!"

The three girls rushed to hug her and she laughed in happiness and then they sat down to play a few rounds of UNO while Nansia told them what she saw and how it felt.

Four Hours Ago:

Nansia was sitting with crossed legs in the porch and she with Bonnie who was copying her stance meditated as the sound of a tuning bowl echoed as Jeremy tuned it as he watched interestedly.

Nansia back home used to put ASMR and Ambience videos to calm herself down or console herself when she was feeling down. She was used to calming breathing exercises due to her panic/anxiety attacks.

She was using all that knowledge to free her mind as she heard the monotone sound of the tuning bowl.

Ancestral Plane:

After the third breaths, she felt as if she was getting warm like a warm thin blanket was wrapped around her and she opened her eyes and saw she was sitting in a forest and the warmth she felt was the summery breeze along with the thin layers of sunlight falling through the many tree branches.

She saw a bunch of people rushing in and out of various huts dressed in various attires from generations past and she recognized some of them from photos she had seen growing up and she was shown in school by Jeremy.

She saw a woman she recognized as Nadia Petrova hugging Thalia as the two of them were knitting while her grandma was speaking with her husband and a man that she recognized as Thalia's husband. They seemed to be happy and she felt this bubbling warmth and happiness inside her.

"They are in peace." She heard a voice behind her and turned to see her great grandmother Maria.

"Hi." Nansia breathed out as a wide smile spread over her face. She had only seen one picture of her great-grandma Maria taken at the age of 58 years old and it was in black and white. She looked young, not older than 30 years old dressed in a claves-length black dress and a dark blue cardigan over her shoulder but not closed. She wore matching black shoes and pale white knee stocks made out of wool.

Her honey brown eyes looking clear and not hazy, healthy. She had her eyesight and hadn't lost it yet.

"Great-grandma Maria! I have heard so much about you! It's so very nice to meet you!" Nansia said excitedly as she turned to face her.

"It's so nice to see you, Vasiliki," Maria said smiling at her as her great-granddaughter beamed excitedly.

"It's Nansia now…" Nansia corrected her ancestor who chuckled and smiled.

"As you wish, my dear. So, what brings you here?" Maria asked a little more seriously but her warm smile and demeanor didn't change.

"I…I want to know more about our family's history and magic. I want to write down everything from everyone's perspectives so next generations to have books to seek answers and spells instead of wondering about where they come from and who were their ancestors." Nansia said to Maria with an excited and fascinated undertone.

Maria smiled kindly as she motioned with her head for Nansia to follow her closer to the huts only as Nansia made a step she hit a force field.

Maria sensed that and turned to her in pity.

"I don't think you are ready to receive the answers you seek, dear one, please do come back when you are truly ready." Maria said seriously as she smiled sympathetically to Nansia whose face had dropped and she became disappointed in herself.

She sighed and was ready to end this connection when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry little one, you always took your time to figure things out this isn't any different. Be proud of the progress you made. Just beware of who you trust." Maria said wisely to her and she smiled at her great grand-daughter.

End of Ancestral Plane:

Atlanta: Salvatore Household: Morning While The Girls Were In The Library.

The entire household minus the teen girls woke up to find that the girls wouldn't come down to eat breakfast.

They instantly reached their phones and started calling and texting and even tried to track with GPS and locator spell that was a fail since the library had a protection spell cast on the building that was affecting whoever was inside the moment they stepped inside.

So, the entire morning, noon, and afternoon were spent worrying about the girls' whereabouts while trying to cover it up for Stefanie's sake.

But when girls came back and they were lectured and punished the adults gathered in Elena's kitchen with wine and blood and discussed the day.

"Doesn't their behavior remind you something?" Elena asked with a small smirk.

"No! History isn't repeating itself! I refuse to believe it!" Caroline refused loudly as she slammed in her hand on the island as she was drinking her blood bag.

"But it does, Care, especially with Malivore." Alaric said with a defeated tone.

"Just because you are gone almost all the time so you don't see how the girls and the rest of the students react to them, doesn't mean the history isn't repeating itself." Bonnie threw her a criticizing jab with a disapproving tone.

"I'm trying to find leads for…you know what!" Caroline tried to defend herself.

"Yeah but you need to be on the school grounds." Alaric said slightly agreeing with Bonnie.

"It's been hard to try handling everything. You are only here whenever there are new students' minus Landon, Rafael, and Nansia. Hell, Felicity and Dorian have been flying around the world seeing students yet they were here to teach classes too and the same goes for Bonnie, she's teaching Occult University classes in Whitmore College and her classes here." Alaric said with a voice that showed how frustrated he was.

Caroline felt attacked but they needed to say those things to her.

"And what am I supposed to do? The girls soon will be 22 years old, Ric!" Caroline yelled almost loudly.

"I know math, Caroline! It's just….it takes a village to raise them and run a school and I can't help out teenage daughters with everything! If you know what I mean!" Alaric exclaimed annoyed and while all of this was happening Damon, Elena, Bonnie, and Jeremy were awkwardly sitting there and drinking their wines or beer for Jeremy and the ol' classic Bourbon.

"So, why not tell the girls? They can handle it and they might help with research." Elena said with a shrug as she saw that the fight between Caroline and Alaric was getting worse and louder.

Alaric and Caroline turned to look at her with a "What The Fuck?" look and Elena sighed.

"If we managed to survive everything with Klaus and the tomb vampires and you know everything else, why can't they? Besides it might be helpful to prevent future mistakes worse than what we did because of not knowing or being aware of their own heritage and struggles. As a mother I would have wanted to let Stefanie know about everything and I have, Damon, Jeremy and I have started introducing Stefanie to the supernatural and you guys have already introduced the girls to this world from way younger ages, now it's time to introduce them to their family's legacy. I plan when Stefanie becomes sixteen to tell her about the Petrova legacy if Nansia has figured anything more." Elena said with a calm and collective yet soft tone. She didn't want to sound like she was attacking Caroline or criticizing Alaric's parenting and their past mistakes.

Alaric and Caroline sighed and became quiet.

"We need to discuss that, don't we?" Alaric asked Caroline who nodded.

"After the holidays though." Caroline said hopeful and the statement was mostly a question. Alaric nodded and then Damon took the lead;

"So, what do you think of Nansia?" He asked as he rubbed his knuckles together.

"She's a danger magnet." Caroline stated.

"She's a kind girl but I have a feeling that she has her walls up still." Bonnie said with a kind tone.

"She is a very independent girl that makes parenting her hard but she's cool. I don't feel that I can parent her I feel more like her friend though." Jeremy said as he took a few sips of his beer and sigh yet his tone wasn't mean but troubled.

"I like her, she reminds me of a more tortured version of me. I want to protect her and get to know her." Elena said smiling and a small shrug.

"Same with Elena but yeah, she's cool I would like to spend more time with her but she keeps her distance from me and I feel she's afraid of me." Damon said a little sad and confused.

"She has a long way before her. I can see her potential as a teacher" Alaric said with a disappointed sigh.

"Why is she afraid of me, Alaric?" Damon asked him interested the moment he stopped his assessment of Nansia.

"I don't know." Alaric said confused.

"She feels like that with every man because of her past. She's trying to warm up to you, Damon, if you want ask her to spend a few hours together tomorrow." Jeremy suggested with a small shrug but he was tired from the day it was emotionally exhausting.

Damon nodded and then quietness ruled the kitchen and soon all the adults head to bed.

"Tomorrow is going to be a fun day, Elena, it's Christmas Eve!" Damon promised slash hyped up as they hid under the covers and Elena sighed and nodded hoping too.

What do you think Christmas will be like in the Salvatore household? Tell me in your comments!
