Hello! So sorry for not uploading this long, but life got in the way! I found a new residency and I had to re-evaluate my routine. I am constantly tired now but I'm happy because I'm finally moving forward with my studies!

So, I was running to my college city to take care of the paperwork for that and the days fell in between Orthodox Easter, which was also busy two weeks. Then it was the 1st of May which is a national holiday. Still, because it was falling on Sunday the holiday was moved to Monday which put extra stress on me because the following day I was starting my residency and I hadn't finished the paperwork or I was insured.

Furthermore, on Sunday 15th it was my birthday and I turned 23 years old! And today, it's my mum's birthday and the 6 years anniversary since my maternal grandma's passing.

Lastly, this is my present to you! Thank you for the support you've shown on this fanfiction!

With this chapter I suggest listening to Bastille - Things We Lost In The Fire.

Enjoy!

Chapter 22: Mistakes And New Beginnings Part 1

New Orleans: Mikaelson-Gerard Household: 3 Days Before The Mikaelsons Visit.

Rebekah and Marcel were laughing as Freya and Keelin were over for lunch with her kid, Nick.

"So, are we all packed?" Keelin asked with a very excited smile and everyone smiled as they nodded and sipped their wine.

"I mean we never really did unpack from Paris." Marcel said chuckling as he chewed his steak and Freya gasped laughing.

"How was Paris?" Freya asked interested and Rebekah sighed.

"Didn't start well, we were trapped by a snowstorm in the airport for two days but after that, it was magical, snowed Paris was even more magical…plus I saw Marcel slip countless times and that was incredibly amusing!" Rebekah said laughing and Marcel blushed a bit as he bowed his head down and everyone erupted in laughter.

Atlanta: Salvatore Household: 3 Days Before The Mikaelsons Visit.

Nansia woke up with her alarm clock ringing and got dressed and ate breakfast and then started practicing with Bonnie, all in a great mood and energy. Once their class was done and she was given a book to read which she lamely then asked if it was an audiobook version of it because she's more a hearing and learning type than reading and learning. Bonnie said no and glared at her mumbling something about her generation to which Nansia smirked and turned and said;

"Wait, weren't you born in 1995? I was born in 1999 so that makes us both the same generation. So, what you just mumbled goes for you too."

Jeremy whistled amused from his spot on the porch while Damon who had also been watching howled with laughter.

"Do you need aloe vera for that burn, Bon Bon?" Damon asked her laughing and Bonnie glared at him amused and just walked over to the porch and pretended to tie her shoes before she threw one snowball at Damon and one at Nansia who grabbed it instead of allowing it to hit. She instead looked shocked at her hands and asked rhetorically if she had just done that.

"I think it's the wolfie reflexes of yours, the longer you use magic and learn about it the more of you comes to the surface." Damon theorized chuckling as he handed her the jacket Elena gave him to give her saying that she might be half a wolf but she still could catch a cold.

Then Damon and Elena with Stefanie took Nansia with them on a small road trip, completely uncalled for! They took her to a small restaurant that served authentic Greek food in the opposite direction of Atlanta and just after the city limits, there was a smaller town, a hidden gem. Nansia almost burst into tears when she entered the establishment because she missed the smell of authentic Greek food cooked by somebody else.

Stefanie grasped her hand and smiled up at her.

"You can order for us in Greek." Stefanie suggested smiling and Nansia nodded not trusting her voice as her eyes blinked tears away.

"You guys arranged this?" Nansia asked after they were seated and Elena laughed and looked at Damon who smirked his signature smirk.

"It was all me, I thought you might like it. This entire town is made up of Greek immigrants dating back to early 1896." Damon said smirking as he wiggled his eyebrows Nansia shook her head in disbelief and a huge smile graced her lips.

She ordered for them Smyrnanian meatballs with rice, mousaka, pastitsio, and eggplant filled with tomato sauce and feta cheese and a platter of seafood, French fries, and tzatziki paired with a Greek salad.

The waiter was intrigued by her accent and Nansia smiled saying she was coming from Pella in the Macedonian region of Greece which caused the waiter to muse about Alexander the Great and Nansia to chuckle amusedly.

"What were you two smiling about?" Elena asked amused once the waiter left them and Nansia chuckled.

"Nothing, he commented on my Greek accent and I told him that I was from Pella a town in the Macedonian region which is known to be Alexander the Great birthplace and he made that comment." Nansia said smiling with a small nonchalant shrug and saw Damon's and Elena's eyes widen in shock.

"You have an accent in Greek?" Elena asked confused.

"You mean the Alexander the Great?" Damon whispered exclaimed in nerdy disbelief.

"Yes, I do, Greece might not look big to you guys but it has many regions and in the past, before modern Greek was the official language each region had its dialects and that is how you could tell who was from where or not from around the village. It was the early 1890s that Greece had established an official dialect called Katharevousa, which means "clean language" or "pure language" and was used by the educated people of Greece between the newly freed Greece. But when more land of Greece was freed by defeating the Ottoman Empire and the Balkan Wars then World War I happened, Greece reclaimed land adding once more, more dialects under its belt. Dialects that were heavily influenced by the Slavic and Turkish languages. In that way Greece forced the newly reclaimed regions to divide their language taught in school, just like in Italy. In the Greek, just like Italian schools you spoke Katharevousan and you were severely punished if not, and outside of your school, you had to switch to your regional dialect. Essentially acting like a bilingual person. With the years this rule relaxed causing the creation of the Modern Greek language and the death of many dialects." Nansia explained as a matter of fact and Damon and Elena looked at her in awe.

"So you had to learn all that for a paper at school?" Damon asked her and Nansia laughed.

"Nope, I was bored once and refused to listen to my grandma who said to go to my room when her friends came over so I sat and listened to their intellectual debates, it was about languages which intrigued me and then I kept asking Mister Chris for more info and books whenever he would visit and he would bring me books and written papers to read, he would show me old maps and achieves, he was a professor of Greek, Slavic, and Latin Linguistics in universities of Holland, Sweden, Belgium, and Russia for years, he and my grandpa were best friends, grew up together and studied together in Athens then renting an apartment together in Holland before he left to Russia after the USSR fell and grandpa reunited with an army buddy of his and roomed together in a new apartment which resulted into my grandpa reuniting with my grandma and her best friend who was also rooming with the college buddy. Two years later the college buddy fell in love with my grandma's best friend and my grandparents fell in love too. Thanks to Mister Chris I fell more in love with history and I had the privilege to learn stories of my grandpa since I never met him" She said smiling fondly at the memories.

"As for if I was referring to the actual Alexander the Great, yes I mean the actual person. I was so done listening about his life but yeah it's kinda cool to think that you are walking somewhere he could potentially walk on." Nansia said smiling proudly.

"Do you have pictures?" Stefanie asked excitedly but she didn't smile because she wasn't sure if her town existed in this dimension.

"I'm not sure…" Nansia said saddened and then opened Google maps and typed the name of her town and was surprised to see it existed and showed them pictures it was identical.

"This town always had this eerily atmosphere and I think it has to do with all the death that took place throughout the centuries." Nansia said as she showed them the area through the street view.

Then the food came and the conversation switched to the reviews of the food they ate.

It was hours later when Nansia, Damon, Elena, and Stefanie returned back home. Jeremy met some friends of his who were passing through the town and Bonnie was just enjoying some niece-auntie time with Lizzie and Josie while Alaric and Caroline dealt with some work stuff.

Ryan also had some relaxing time. Hope was talking on FaceTime with Landon for most of the day and then she just watched some movies and painted for a bit.

When Nansia got home she texted Ryan to see how he is and she asked Elena if she could go for a walk and she agreed. So Nansia managed to meet for a bit with Ryan at the park they had fought off the imposter. It was a wonderful time, they were at the beginning of their honeymoon stage.

They wouldn't stop kissing and embracing each other and just enjoying being in each other's company but because it was winter they soon froze from the cold so Ryan called them an Uber and took them to his hotel where he rushed to the coffee shop opposite the hotel to grab some hot chocolates and some donuts, not wanting to pay a fortune by asking the room service for these items.

She was smiling and texting with Lizzie and Hope about where she truly was so the girls could cover for her in case Elena or Jeremy asked where she's is.

She was smiling like a lovesick fool when she jumped as she felt someone sitting next to her and saw Klaus looking at her smirking.

"Merry Christmas! Thank you for making Hope smile and giving her friends. I've been watching over her and all of you since you are always together…always and forever, huh? I like it! Ironic consider who Lizzie's and Josie's mum is and you being a Petrova and all." Klaus said amused but with a kind glint in his eyes.

"You don't have to thank me, Hope and the twins are my friends and I'm loyal to a fault…I don't betray from malice only by mistake." She told him seriously and he smiled.

"Then I'm glad, please do me a favor and get this message to Hope; tell her that I love her and she has made me so proud by allowing people in her life and for loving, although I wished she hadn't had a boyfriend yet but I'm glad she happy. I'm always watching over her." Klaus said as he tried to not cry. She smiled and said;

"It's done, consider it done but I have a better idea, come to my room in an hour." She said smiling kindly and Klaus looked at her confused but nodded.

He then disappeared and left Nansia smiling happily. Ryan returned and they watched a movie snuggling together. She was then taken home just ten minutes before it was time for her to meet Klaus in her room. She rushed to Hope's room and knocked on the door asking if she wanted to come to hers, she had a surprise for her. Hope confused followed Nansia at her room where Nansia smiled at Klaus who was waiting for her, she extended her hand towards Klaus who looked at it confused and then grasped it. Nansia closed her eyes and wished that Hope could see and touch her dad, she opened her eyes when she heard Hope's gasp as she stumbled backward knocking the lamp and catching it on time before making contact with the floor.

"Dad?! How? Nansia?" Hope stuttered in shock as she looked confused with tears in her eyes.

"Merry Christmas!" She said smiling and then reached for one of her scarves and tied it around her arm and Klaus' arm then let go of his hand and he remained there.

"So, it won't be awkward and you two can hug each other. Go on!" She said smiling and Hope jumped in her father's waiting arms as Nansia smiled and then turned her back to give them privacy.

"How did you know you could do this?" Hope asked Nansia while being held in her father's arms as they sat on her bed.

"Um…it was a fleeting idea that came into my head but it all started because of Mr. Mikaelson when he said that I must be able to see him due to my Watcher side, being able to access higher astral planes or something. And since I could touch him maybe I could will him to be visible while he is in touch with me or something with my DNA." Nansia explained as she sat on the ground close to the bed and Klaus.

"I want to test if Klaus holds my scarf if he remains visible or not." Nansia said as she unbound it and let it go but Klaus disappeared from view Hope still felt him, Nansia quickly tied the scarf and he was visible and Hope let a breath of relief.

"I guess I'm the antenna…" Nansia mused amused and Klaus smiled.

"Let's hope it's not awkward then." Klaus said amused too and Nansia smiled as she reached for her phone and then asked Hope to give her the headphones on her nightstand and she put them on.

"Now you have privacy." She yelled over the loud music and Hope with Klaus laughed at her as she started scrolling through Pinterest.

Father and daughter spend over an hour talking and catching up with tears in their eyes and Nansia even had a nap while they talked. She was wakened up by Hope saying that she too couldn't keep her eyes open and that she couldn't thank her enough for the hour with her dad.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." Nansia said smiling and then Klaus embraced her too thankful before Nansia untied her scarf from him and he disappeared. Hope wiped some tears before bid her goodnight.

Klaus also bid her goodnight and Nansia changed quickly into her PJs and climbed onto her bed exhausted she fell asleep.

In the living room, Alaric, Caroline, and the remaining Scooby-Doo gang were just drinking and talking while having a movie playing in the background while Stefanie and the twins were upstairs having a Frozen marathon in Stefanie's room.

Alaric was holding the Petrova book and was studying it when he noticed how the book was changed from the pictures he had on his laptop and quickly expressed his shock as he opened his laptop and showed them his evidence.

"What happened to Kamina Andonov?" Jeremy asked suspiciously and everyone looked at each other confused.

"I say we should ask her tomorrow." Elena said deeply concerned.

The Next Day: Atlanta: Salvatore residence: 2 Days Before The Mikaelsons Visit.

Bonnie knocked on Nansia's door for their morning magic lessons and got concerned when she got no response as he used magic to unlock it and saw Nansia sleeping.

As she got closer she saw how Nansia's forehead glimmered in the sunlight peeking from the shutters and the blinds, she touched her forehead she jumped in surprise because Nansia's forehead was burning up.

She instantly called Elena and Elena herself slipped into a doctor mode. She checked her temperature and it was a whapping 104.18 Fahrenheit degrees and the gasp from Bonnie and Caroline's question, if she should grab her and drive her to the ER, makes the twins and Hope with Stefanie to enter the room and ask what is going on.

"Nansia is sick." Jeremy said as he picked up Stefanie in his arms and walked her downstairs to distract her from everything. Hope gulped guilty and Lizzie noticed it and grabbed her arm and drag both her and her sister to Hope's room.

"What is that look, Hope?" Lizzie asked suspiciously.

"I think it's my fault she's sick…she used too much magic or whatever…she could see my dad all this time while he watched over me. According to my dad's theory, she can see him because of her Watcher DNA. And last night she surprised me by using whatever powers Watchers have made him visible for me and I could touch him and hug him! We talked for an hour in her room while she played with her phone and then I thought she fell asleep, she had tied her scarf in her hand and his since as long as he's close to her DNA he's visible and touchable…I truly thought she had fallen asleep and woke her up and told her that it was time to go to bed. I didn't notice any physical signs she overused her powers, Lizzie! If only I wasn't so selfish!" Hope cried as Josie embraced her and Lizzie looked deep into her thoughts.

"That's not your fault, Nansia made the choice to use her powers without testing them first." Lizzie said to Hope and Josie nodded agreeing with her sister, Lizzie's tone was soft yet harsh because she was pissed off with how dumb and reckless Nansia was!

"But you got to admit such power is pretty awesome." Lizzie added deep in thoughts as she rushed back to her notes she had gathered regarding the Watchers and then grabbed a pencil and a post-it note from Josie's bag and scribbled down the event with Nansia making ghosts and spirits of the dead touchable and visible to the living room by just touching them or her DNA touching them and to search more into this to see if it has happened before to a Watcher or it's abnormal due to Nansia's origins.

"If she overused her powers then she needs just rest, Hope, calm down." Josie said soothingly to her friend who nodded understanding but she couldn't help but let a few sobs free.

Lizzie hugged Hope briefly and then rushed out of the room to check on how things are going.

"Aunt Bonnie, why don't you use your magic to check what is wrong with her, it could be magic-related, you two have been triggering her magic that has gone untriggered for almost two decades, her body might need time adjusting." Lizzie suggested wisely and Caroline with Alaric looked proudly at her while Caroline held a little shock in her face not expecting Lizzie to suggest something like this.

"That's a great idea, Lizzie!" Bonnie exclaimed proudly and then softly squeezed Lizzie's shoulder as she rushed to her room to gather her ingredients.

Damon and Elena were holding Nansia's hands as Nansia seemed to shiver in her restless slumber.

Alaric was texting Dorian and Emma in their group chat asking if they knew anything and explicitly saying not to spend all their day off searching more into this because he could do it and they deserved a day off and vacations.

Caroline then heard sobs with her vampiric hearing in Hope's room and concerned she walked and opened the ajar door to see Josie holding Hope who was sobbing and trying to stop.

"Hope?" Caroline asked worried and both girls jumped at her presence and Josie fumbled with her words saying how Hope was worried for Nansia.

"Josie, I can tell when you lie not just because you are my daughter but because your heart is going too fast. What happened last night after Nansia's walk?" Caroline asked them concern and Caroline felt the terror, were her girls targeted but something other than Malivore that Alaric has been assuring her that it's been taken care of.

"My dad has been watching over me and Nansia she was able to see him like we sometimes watch spirits but she could touch him and she got this idea if she could touch him so she willed it so I can see him and touch him, she only needed a touch of her DNA to keep him visible once she finished, she tied her scarf to my dad's arm and hers and I got to see him for an hour. I thought she fell asleep close to the hour I thought she had fallen asleep and shook her because I too wanted to go to bed but I didn't notice if she was tired or not. I think she is drained and needs to recharge." Hope explained guilty and sad averting her gaze from Caroline's and studying her united hands. Caroline was gaping and her eyes were wide as she rushed back to Nansia's room.

Caroline told them what Hope told her and Bonnie who had was just setting up the diagnosable spell and froze hearing this. Lizzie rushed back inside the room and yelled at Hope for uncovering that Nansia could also be a Watcher since by now the adults were aware of her hybrid nature, witch and werewolf. Hope argued that Nansia's life was on the line and maybe the lies would physically harm Nansia's life not just emotionally and she couldn't risk that.

"Wait, Watcher? How did that come up?" Jeremy asked confused and Caroline huffed realizing what Hope had said didn't really make sense. Then the magical trio appeared in the room and every adult looked at them.

"Girls?" Alaric asked suspiciously and Josie sighed and opened her mouth to talk but Lizzie stepped forward and started talking;

"During the bonfire, Aunt Elena threw, Nansia saw a man approach her and gave her a present and I got to her and saw the guy, their eyes were identical and their noses too and Nansia noticed it too which caused her to wonder about her biological dad and why she was taken to our dimension. And she theorized that she's connected here and she's right, she is a Petrova witch and of some werewolf pack, and what could possibly be because her dad was also part of this dimension making her entire DNA is from here. She belongs here. So, having the guy's face in my mind I tried to make her tell me if she has ever seen a picture of her dad and she had. It was the same guy and recalled seeing him in the picture when she was 17, two years ago which was also the time she learned that she was a twin herself. That triggered me to look for this dimension's Nansia or if in this dimension maybe her brother had survived but got nothing. Then I was looking through an online achieve for an essay when I struck gold and I found files and photos of a group of beings called the Watchers and the first picture I found was of the man we saw during the bonfire, his name is Colin Malcolm O'Connell a native Irish man from Dublin and a Watcher. That's her father and he's from here, this dimension making Nansia 100% native to this dimension and a tribrid, the second in existence after Hope or before since Nansia was born in 1999." Lizzie finished talking and everyone was silent.

"Her family was protected by my Uncle Finn and his wife Sage back in 1555 before dad and Uncle Elijah sent people to slaughter them because Katherine Pierce run and chased every Petrova in existence…or so they thought they did since Thalia survived with her son in Earth Prime." Hope added quietly as everyone looked shocked and was trying to digest everything.

"And were you three…four ever planning on telling us?" Alaric asked angrily.

"No." Lizzie said protectively.

"Why not?" Elena asked softly as she studied Nansia and her mind raced because she remembered the odd man at the hospital asking for Nansia.

"Because we didn't know everything yet, we wanted to research more into it that is why we sneak out to the library, we didn't find much but we don't know how to come into contact with him or any Watchers to ask them more about it." Josie said disappointed and a little annoyed that the adults were asking dumb questions and the fact that they found out about Nansia's condition and about the Watchers. What's next? Find out about Ryan?

She wanted the adults to help defeat Malivore and the rest would be handled by them, turning Ryan to a witch again and freeing him from Malivore by killing said Malivore and they could help Nansia on her journey of self-discovery they didn't need the adults to get involved.

"Okay, let me do this." Bonnie said sighing as she rubbed her hands together having decided to do a spell that would see which chakra in her needed to get replenished and recharged. She saw her crown chakra and third eye chakra needed to be recharged. The only thing they could do is to monitor her fever and keep her aura steady and let her rest.

She told the adults that and the kids let a sigh of relief. The kids were then told to go do their own thing when Elena found the time and told them.

"I've met Nansia's dad, he's been around at the hospital lately and once he asked me where she's is, I pretended not to know who she is only to occasionally see him studying me. Nothing weird he was just studying me not in a predatory way but in a more puzzling way. Anyways, I ignored it since my patients needed me but a couple of days before the holidays I had an odd patient…a future version of our Stefanie, she wanted me to tell Nansia that she wasn't alone before she went unconscious and we had to operate on her to keep her alive. I went to check on her to ask more of what she meant but she disappeared from her room and I thought she meant that Nansia had us which she does. But hearing about this…do we know how many kids of Nadia's survived?" Elena said concerned and confused.

Everyone was silent in the kitchen again.

"And you're telling this now, Elena?" Jeremy exclaimed annoyed and worried for his ward.

"Yes, because I thought it was all random, and since Nansia appeared out of a portal what says others won't appear? Seeing Stefanie I got horrified by the state of the injuries that the mother and the doctor in me went to overdrive and I thought to fix her first and then ask questions, I didn't know I won't be able to." Elena defended her actions.

"You did the right thing, I would have done the same if it was my girls." Caroline said in an understanding tone supporting her friend.

"I agree with you, Elena, I would have done the same for Josie and Lizzie." Alaric agreed with a soft understanding tone with his former adoptive daughter slash step-daughter.

"Okay, that's in the past guys, can we focus on what we are supposed to be doing with Nansia's condition? And with this Colin guy…should we allow him near her?" Bonnie asked concerned and everyone sighed and nodded agreeing with Bonnie's questions but not sure what was the right way of going about it.

"Well, I think we should take care of Nansia like she has the flu keep a watch on her fever in case it spikes up we are giving her antibiotics keeping said antibiotics close by, and allow her chakra to recharge and heal as you said Bonnie." Elena sighed as she went into a caretaker mode and got up to retrieve the medicine she used to give to Stefanie when she got sick when she froze, Nansia was an adult now and every single medicine they had was the kids' version all but painkillers.

"Damon, sweetie, can you Google open pharmacies? We only have kids' version of medicine and Nansia isn't a kid." Elena realized in a painful manner how unprepared she was.

Damon and Bonnie nodded their heads and whipped out their phones and typed quickly then Bonnie used her magic to bring the car keys to Damon's smiling face and they rushed to the door.

Unknowingly to the adults, Hope and Lizzie had cast an eavesdropping spell and listened in and Hope was stressed as they quietly stepped into Nansia's room to see her shivering and sweating.

"I'm so sorry…" Hope sobbed quietly as she touched her cold hand and gasped as she realized that the reason she was glowing wasn't sweat only it was the sweat crystallizing on her!

"Holy…" Josie whispered shocked and Lizzie rushed downstairs.

"NANSIA IS TURNING INTO CAPTAIN AMERICA!" She yelled loudly not carrying making a reference to Earth 34's superhero or how they knew the hero from the comics by James Lee and earning a warning glare from Alaric and Caroline.

"What?" Elena asked horrified.

"Her sweat is freezing on her skin turning into icy crystals! That's not normal, is it?" Lizzie asked worried and terrified Elena quickly dialed Bonnie's number and Alaric was dialing Emma's number.

Emma picked up sooner than Bonnie and Alaric then FaceTimed her and showed Nansia's arm.

Just then Bonnie picked up and Elena rushed to show her Nansia hand too.

"Hope, is she warm around her head?" Bonnie asked Hope nodded as she touched Nansia's forehead.

"So, two different temperatures in one body…" Emma said deep in thoughts and puzzled.

"She used her third eye chakra to a very huge extent…" Hope said confused.

"Girls, listen, Lizzie touch her head and siphon the heat from her head, unite your other hand from Josie and transfer the heat to Josie, and Josie in her turn transfer the heat to her hands, Hope you grab Josie's shoulder and Josie transfer half of the heat you receive from Lizzie to Hope and Hope to transfer it to her legs. We need to stabilize her inner temperature then we can deal with the outside by keeping her cozy warm. Emma, do you have anything else to add?" Bonnie said from the phone and Emma sighed.

"Nope, so far you covered it. I'm gonna go if anything else changes let us know." Emma said sighing concerned and Alaric bid her goodbye and hang up.

"How far out are you guys?" Elena asked Bonnie concerned and she sighed.

"An hour out because we had to go to the other side of the city to find an open one." Bonnie said concerned and then started to guide the girls to do the heat stabilizing spell as Damon drove.

The girls did as they were told that was when Jeremy and Caroline saw Nansia sigh in relief in her restless slumber and the girls let a sigh of relief as they kept transferring the cold temperature.

Eight minutes later Bonnie instructed them to stop the moment Elena noticed color returned to her cheeks.

"We should keep an eye on her temperature in case it happens again." Bonnie mused deep in thoughts and Elena nodded as she watched how Jeremy tucked Nansia better under the duvets.

Hope and the girls sat on the bedroom floor and refused to leave her while the adults nodded and went downstairs again to prepare some tea, put some water in a bottle for Nansia, and to check on her daughter.

Josie then got up and brought Lizzie's laptop and notes requested by Lizzie so she can do some research on Colin O'Connell's family and Watchers' powers. Hope stared at Nansia's phone as it charged on her nightstand.

"Ryan…we should let Ryan know that Nansia is sick." Hope said quietly as the guilt was eating her up.

Josie who also brought her laptop and was chatting with MG and Kelab nodded while Lizzie barely registered what was going on she was too deep into research mode and Hope grabbed Nansia's phone and unlocked it using Nansia's fingerprint.

She found Ryan's messages on Instagram and typed;

"Hey, Ryan, Hope here…um…Nansia is sick today with a fever and unstable temperature…it happened because of me…she used her Watcher powers without having tested them to allow me to see and touch my dad's spirit…apparently, she can do that. I'm writing this text to let you know that whatever plans you had for today will be canceled if you had any and to let you know of her situation, to be in the loop in case she doesn't get better. Professor Bonnie says that she needs to recharge her head and third eye chakras which were the ones overused which isn't a big deal if you're just a witch but since she's a tribrid and of mostly unknown origins things might turn sour any moment. You can come and visit her, we will hide you if the need arise. Also, I truly think Nansia would have wanted you here. Lizzie is looking into this as I'm typing this. Lastly, the adults seem to be getting on to us so I don't how long we can keep keeping them out of it, just a heads up. – Hope."

Hope sighed tiredly as she rested her head against the bed frame and then felt a hand rub her head. Confused she looked up to see Nansia's hand rubbing her head and mumbling in some unknown language.

"Nansia?" Hope whispered hopeful but got no answer as the girl shifted and turned her back to them.

Hope made a move to cover her back with the duvets and the blankets when she came into contact with her shoulder and gasped as she was dipped into a memory flashback;

Memory Flashback:

Hope stood in the corridor and heard odd music and laughter as she walked to see a bunch of young people dancing and a girl in a grey tank top dress with a purple undershirt and black jeans paired with a blue mask was marveling at her surroundings when she bumped onto a girl with black attire, black tank top, and jeans with red army boots and red mask.

"Hey, watch it!" Nansia's voice was heard under the red mask and made Hope gasp from shock as she watched from the distance. Nansia sounded mean and condescending and was scaring the girl.

"I'm sorry." The girl said in a low tone and Nansia glared at the younger girl before she nodded and went back to dancing.

Then the girl with the blue mask slowly walked to the window and Hope was next to her and they both marveled at the planet earth.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" The girl asked with a sad smile and Hope looked shocked at the girl for a moment she thought she was referring to her but Nansia's voice made her realize that the girl was referring to the girl.

"It is. I haven't seen you before, from which sector are you?" Nansia asked suspiciously as she took off her mask.

"Sector 14. You?" The girl answered.

"I was born on Sector 13 but I was a forbidden child, grew up in the Orphanage on Sector 0." Nansia said with a shrug not really caring she was unwanted.

"I'm sorry for your existence." The girl answered back instantaneously as if it was a programmed response to say.

"Yeah…me too…my mother is a mechanic in Sector 13 she wanted me to join her but I don't have time for the woman that abandoned me. I have no clue who my father was, they floated him for sleeping with someone other than his wife. Good riddance I guess." Nansia said with a nonchalant tone.

"How old are you?" The girl with the blue mask asked her.

"I'm 15 years old."Nansia said smiling slightly.

"That means you started your apprenticeship, which Sector chose you?" The girl with the blue mask asked her with a dreamy look.

"I was chosen by Chancellor Doctor Abby Clarke on Sector 3." Nansia said proudly with a smile and the girl with the blue mask gasped in amazement.

"You leveled up ten Sectors that is amazing! Congratulations!" The girl gushed as she hugged Nansia who seemed taken by surprise by the action and stiffened before returning the hug.

Then the watch in Nansia's arm started beeping.

"Oh, we should go, it's time for row call." Nansia told the girl who quickly untangled herself and let go of Nansia.

"Go ahead, I'll be there." The girl said a little too agitated.

"Um…okay…don't be late." Nansia said as she started walking then froze and looked at the girl in suspicion.

"Where is your wristwatch?" Nansia asked suspiciously and the girl seemed to froze at the question and was about to make a run for it but she bumped into a guard that was coming to get them.

"You two! Go towards the line now! Await identification!" The guard spoke with a monotonous and authoritative tone as he grabbed the blue masked girl's arm roughly without care if it harmed her.

"Where's your watch?" The guard yelled at the whimpering girl and Nansia froze.

"You're hurting her! Let her go! Her watch was broken!" Nansia lied as she grabbed the girl and yanked her away from the man's grip.

The moment the girls' eyes met Nansia whispered run before letting her go and she run towards the door that was to their left from the window they were admiring minutes ago.

"She's not an authorized citizen of the Ark! Get her!" The guard yelled as other guards appeared behind him having noticed the turmoil.

"You have to go through me, fellas!" Nansia said smirking as her eyes glowed green and she extended her hands and shook them making the guards fly against the wall meters away.

She then rushed inside the same door and Hope rushed behind her.

What the hell was this?

The blue-eyed girl and Nansia were in a church room.

"What's your name?" Nansia asked in a hurrying tone.

"Octavia…" The girl said sobbing and Nansia nodded.

"I'm Nansia, you have to go through the vents to wherever you've been hiding, they will be coming here any moment. I'm going to hold them off as much as I can…" Nansia said as her eyes lit up green and her hands had a type of blue fire.

"Hellfire…" Hope gasped in amazed.

"How are you doing this? Why the fire is blue?" Octavia asked terrified.

"Not the time now! Run!" Nansia pushed her towards the vents when she saw the door break down and then she turned up to see more guards surrounding them, she gave up the fire grabbed Octavia's hand and they run through the vents.

Hope run behind them not wanting to miss this.

They jumped off the vent into a corridor and Nansia and Octavia checked the surroundings to see them clean.

"How far away is your home?" Nansia asked and they saw they were in Sector 12.

"Two Sectors down…" Octavia said out of breath and Nansia grabbed her hand and started running Hope followed them when they reached Sector 13 where guards were waiting for them.

"GO!" Nansia yelled at Octavia as her eyes glowed green again and kneeled in a false surrender move before she slammed her hands on the ground and ice expanded and caused the guards to either slip or freeze.

"ATHANASIA STAND DOWN!" The voice of someone from the guards yelled at her as he aimed his rifle at her.

"No!" Nansia said and he fired when Nansia raised her hand up and the bullet bounced over a protective barrier.

She turned to them and suddenly her eyes started to flicker between green, yellow, and blue as she snarled and closed her hands into fists and raised them slowly before abruptly dropping her hands and unclenching her fists. Sounds of bones cracking made Hope gasp in shock and Nansia smiled with a sick satisfaction as her eyes glowed yellow. Then she turned around and run to where Octavia had run and Hope followed her.

Octavia and Nansia met inside Octavia's house and hugged thankful they survived.

"You okay?" Nansia asked concerned and Octavia nodded in her embrace.

"What happened to the guards?" Octavia asked worried and Nansia's eyes and the smile dropped.

"They lost us." Nansia lied and Octavia nodded as she let go of Nansia's waist.

Then she turned around only to see a guard standing in the entrance and Nansia quickly grabbed a letter opener.

"Stay back!" Nansia warned as she pushed Octavia behind her. The guard took his headwear off and Octavia gasped as she rushed to him.

"Bellamy!" Octavia hugged him thankfully.

"You know each other?" Nansia asked confused.

"Yes, he's my older brother! Bellamy this is Nansia she saved me." Octavia said smiling happily.

Bellamy looked suspiciously at her but nodded in thanks as Nansia smiled uncomfortably and then waved goodbye to her and turned to leave when Bellamy in lighting movements grabbed the sewing machine and hit her over the head while Octavia yelled no in horror.

Nansia lay unconscious on the ground and Hope had covered her mouth in shock.

The scene changed to Nansia dressed differently and with scars on her arms looking very new as she watched the storm going as she stood under a wooden cover. Her riffle tucked safely next to her hip when sounds of bushes being ruffled Nansia quickly on guard aimed her rifle to the source of the sound only to see Bellamy holding two cups of hot liquid and two sandwiches.

"Easy! It's just me, brought lunch! Jasper made the soup and Harper the sandwich." Bellamy said as Nansia relaxed and accepted the food.

"Thanks…no sign of any Grounders or Ice Nation this far." Nansia said puzzled and Bellamy nodded.

"I really hope whatever is Clarke doing in Polis works and we don't have to go to war." Bellamy said hopeful and Nansia nodded as she sipped her soup.

"Where were you last night?" Bellamy asked concerned and Nansia looked confused at him.

"Sleeping at my quarters why?" Nansia asked concerned.

"Murphy was awake and on shift and said he saw you heading to the clearing, you go way too often, why?" Bellamy asked suspiciously.

"I like the energy in that clearing it calms me down but last night I didn't go…could be somebody else?" Nansia said with a shrug.

"Could be." Bellamy said dropping the topic and he took a bite out of his sandwich.

"I'm sorry." Bellamy said quietly and Nansia looked at him confused.

"For what?" Nansia asked confused.

"For getting you arrested and essentially send down here in this hell, you could have made a nice life as a doctor on the Ark if I had just let you go." Bellamy said quietly and Nansia shook her head.

"It's in the past. I forgive you." Nansia said seriously and Bellamy nodded.

Hope watched this confused as to why she was seeing this when Bellamy quickly hugged her and Nansia let out a laugh of surprise hugging him back before letting him go and continue eating in silence as they watched the storm.

Hope was kicked out of the memory after that.

End of Memory Flashback:

Hope gasped and stumbled a bit causing Lizzie to grasp her calve to steady her and look up to her confused.

"What happened?" Lizzie asked concerned as she eyed Nansia's sleeping form.

"I think I saw Nansia's memory on how she ended up in jail and sent to the ground, she used magic and killed people without triggering her wolf." Hope said concerned and then jumped at the sound of Nansia's phone ringing she grabbed seeing it was Ryan calling. She then saw the time, it felt like hours of being in her mind but it was only ten minutes.

"Hey, Hope, I'm coming to the house. I'll call again to help up in the room through the window." Ryan said worriedly.

"Okay." Hope said still disoriented and then hang up.

"Ryan's coming." Hope said still confused as she sat back down.

Ryan was taking advantage of the gym in the hotel to work out a bit when he was just done with his morning workout he was checking his messages and saw one from Nansia. He almost dropped his water bottle and phone reading it. His Nansia was sick! He quickly rushed to his room had a shower and grabbed breakfast on the road as he waited for his Uber.

He appeared outside of the Salvatore household and rang Nansia's phone only to go to voicemail and his heart thudded in his hybrid muddy chest.

Then saw Hope from the window.

"You'll have to climb like a mountain climb." She said as she threw him a rope and Ryan nodded as he started climbing and then almost fell back down seeing Nansia's pale and sweaty…no icy skin.

"What? Is that ice?" Ryan exclaimed horrified as he rushed to climb fully inside and cupped her face and kissed her as tears in his eyes picked up.

"Please don't die." He whispered as he held her head in his chest and then kissed her forehead as he started to cry.

Hope and the twins watched him surprised by the sheer emotion he displayed.

"Ryan? She's just exhausted, she needs rest, she's not dying." Josie tried to make him feel assured. Ryan looked at her with a glint of hope in his teary eyes then he gasped as he let Nansia's head back onto the pillow.

"What is it?" Hope asked concerned.

"I feel…my hands… they're scolding hot…" Ryan said confused as he looked at his hands and then up to the girls and they all touched his hand and winced nodding that they felt it too.

Josie's eyes fell to Nansia's cheek which started to regain their color and touched her and her eyes widen.

"She feels warmer!" Josie said shocked and she looked at Nansia's skin and saw the icy melting.

Ryan tried to touch her again but Hope stopped him.

"Let it do its healing…I think it's your witch side prevailing." Hope suggested and Ryan lost nodded as he walked to the bed and sat next to her.

The girls and Ryan sat in silence as they studied Nansia while Lizzie divided her time studying her notes and researching.

Suddenly the door was swung opened by Caroline who was bringing breakfast and caused everyone to jump she smirked and said;

"Ease up! Nansia told me about you, I heard him and all of you actually so I brought food. Bonnie is coming to check on her so Ryan you either duck under the bed or you face the music, kid."

"Um…Mum, he's older than you…technically." Josie hesitantly corrected her and Caroline quickly masked her shock and smiled nodding.

"But Ryan if you hurt any of my girls including Nansia I will haunt you done and drain you from the last drop of your blood and then turn you and let you desecrate in a cave, it will be worse than the hell your father put you through, I promise!" Caroline said threateningly and Ryan nodded intimated.

Caroline satisfied with Ryan's response walked out of the room and Ryan looked back at Nansia. Her cheeks were rosy and healthy but her arm was still crystallizing in her own body while her head was scolding hot.

Seeing that he was terrified and looked over her and saw her limps being engulfed in ice and his gasp made the three girls in the room look up from their phones and laptops and curse realizing they had gone too long without making the reversal temperature spell.

They quickly united their hands and did the spell as Ryan watched amazed and hopeful.

He let a breath out of his lips when he saw the crystals in her arms fade and the rosy cheeks fade a bit.

Once they were done he hurried to cover her and then dipped the cloth into the water and tapped it gently on her forehead as he softly kissed her forehead. Silently prayed for the first time ever to any higher power that wasn't his father to save her or help her through it.

Suddenly Hope tensed and whispered that she smelled Bonnie coming upstairs with Elena and Ryan quickly rolled under the bed causing Josie to chuckle at how funny his panicky face and the fact he rolled like a child. That earned her a glare from Lizzie and she coughed trying to sober up.

Elena and Bonnie walked in and put on some thermometers and Bonnie put on a broken glass and the three teen witches looked at it confused.

"What's that Aunt Bonnie?" Josie asked intrigued.

"That is a spelled glass I just created to see how far along her chakras healed up. That is what I've been doing this whole time." Bonnie explained and the girls whistled in appreciation and amazement.

"That is odd…her eye chakra is almost healed up…but I can detect that her heart chakra has been overcharged and some of that charged energy was magically transferred to her head chakra to help it heal it. Did you girls do that? I don't recognize the magical signature of this because it's not Nansia's." Bonnie said confused and intrigued. Josie shocked-eyed Ryan who was shocked looking at her too she let a small smile on her face and Ryan smiled too, happy.

"No idea, Aunt Bonnie." Lizzie said shrugging confused.

"Maybe it is Nansia's magic or one of her other dimension's ancestors crossing over or something." Hope suggested as she eyed Elena who was eyeing her confused.

"That's impossible." Elena said in denial.

"Aren't we passed that? I mean come one Elena, you thought you and Stefanie were the last of the Petrova bloodline which clearly isn't true. So who knows?" Hope exclaimed annoyed and tired as Elena looked at Hope shocked at her tone.

"Sorry…" Hope apologized for a little self-consciously and she lowered her head.

"By my findings, Nansia can be expected to wake up tomorrow morning if her healing continues at this rate." Bonnie declared and the girls cheered as they united their hands and hugged each other. Hope then eyed Ryan under the bed briefly and gave a short nod and he held this thankful look in his eyes as they were shedding tears.

"Guys, it's nothing serious, I had many times exhausted my chakras and magic saving your parents' asses." Bonnie tried to calm them down.

"Yeah and you died countless times, we are trying to avoid doing your mistakes." Lizzie added sarcastically and Bonnie chuckled and nodded in appreciation while Elena looked guilty on the ground.

"When is lunch ready?" Josie asked trying to make Elena look at her and not study the ground in fear of finding out or seeing an inconsistency from the last time she was in the room pointing out Ryan's existence in the room.

"Damon and Stefanie are warming up some leftovers, in an hour will be ready." Elena said smiling tiredly and Josie smiled and nodded.

The adults left the room and Ryan waited for Hope's "coast is clear" to come out under the bed and wipe his happy tears.

"Whatever you did when your hands were scalding hot it worked to heal her by overcharging and transferring the energy from one chakra to the next…that is a type of magic witches use to have back in the ancient times, this type of magic was long forgotten and stopped being used as people stopped believing in it. Clarke, I think I know which coven you belonged to!" Josie explained deep in thoughts as she quickly left Nansia's room and went to look over her notes from the library.

She came back with a name;

"Your family was an Italian family…Roman family of witches by the name Veraque which means empathy in Latin. Your family used to use empathic magic masked as healers. Transferring or plucking negative or positive emotions with what we call now Reiki. The last recorded member of this family according to the supernatural records mega-famous artist Arthur Clarke…his family and he had trained their gifts and magic and they could predict the future emotional state of the world, something that helped Arthur Clarke create the worlds in his books. Here's what I found…I don't know why I found them so captivating but I felt I needed to note these down." Josie said excitedly as she read her notes and looked at Ryan who was frozen in his spot as he held Nansia's hand and Hope had a supportive hand on his shoulder.

He was shaking as he extended his hand to grab the papers only to collapse seconds before he grasped the papers.

"CLARKE!" Hope and Lizzie with Josie whispered exclaimed as they rushed to him. They found pulse and Hope lift his legs and Lizzie put a pillow over his head.

"What are you doing?" Josie asked confused.

"His pressure dropped drastically from the shock." Hope said as she looked around for something to put under Ryan's nose to wake him up.

Josie then slapped him.

"YO!" Lizzie exclaimed in pain.

"Agh…" Ryan moaned in pain as he rolled around and was looking confused and betrayed at Josie.

"Sorry…" Josie whispered guiltily.

"It's fine…I'm never fainting in front of you again." Ryan said annoyed and the other two witches laughed in relief as they sat down again.

"So, I'm a real Clarke, eh? I had met Arthur Clarke, I felt this connection to him and we became friends, good friends. I couldn't stop crying when he died and I took his last name to honor him." He said deep in thoughts as he sat up and the girls listened to him as he studied the papers in his lap.

"Familial magic tends to manifest in close bonding connections when unaware." Lizzie said seriously and Ryan nodded unsure what to do anything about it.

They stayed in silence while Nansia slept above them when suddenly Ryan's sobs were heard, he silently tried to keep his tears and sob quietly when Hope looked at him.

"Ryan?"

"I'm sorry…it's just…just…it's too much…it's just too much you know? All these years…my friendships with Arthur…it was all connected…I want to learn about magic. I want to learn all of it!" Ryan said between sobs and Hope had instantly engulfed him in a hug and Lizzie gave him an encouraging smile while Josie nodded encouragingly with a tight-lipped smile.

"You will, Ryan, take it one day at a time." Hope tried to console him as she kept him in her embrace.

"Besides, you have us too and we will try to find out what we can about your family in our school's library." Lizzie added trying to lift his spirits and she eyed Josie to say something supportive.

"And…and…and I'm sure you would be a great witch!" Josie added lamely and got a glare from Lizzie and a confused semi glare from Hope, she looked ashamed on the ground.

Ryan tried to compose himself as he wiped his tears and said thanks to Hope for the hug as he started fixing Josie's notes when all of them froze, they heard a pained moan coming from Nansia. Nansia shifted in her comatose state and everyone froze staring at Nansia as Ryan grasped her hand and kissed it hopefully.

Just then Hope said that she heard footsteps and Ryan hid under the bed again just in time the door opened and Caroline Bonnie and Elena and the others rushed inside having hope in their eyes.

"I heard the moan, is she waking up?" Caroline asked hopeful and the three witches shrugged unsurely.

Elena and Bonnie walked towards Nansia who seemed to be sweating now like a normal person, Elena checked her forehead for fever while Bonnie studied her skin and body to see if she was crystallizing anywhere, nothing was shown. Her fever had broken and her breathing and heartbeat had picked up.

"She's slowly coming out of it, but that doesn't mean she will be healthy right away, she will need a couple of days to take it easy. So, lessons will be put off for a few days maybe even until school starts again." Bonnie said deep in thoughts as she covered the young witch again with her duvet.

"I feel so guilty." Hope said as she lowered her head and then felt Bonnie's arm on her shoulder.

"Mistakes happen and in this case, you're not to blame, it's all on Nansia, she chooses to do a spell that was too early for her to do. Besides, if you don't do mistakes now that you are in school and young how will you learn what are your limits?" Bonnie said wisely and with a soft smile and kind tone. Hope smiled softly too and nodded as Bonnie hugged her briefly. The adults started filing out of the room once Bonnie was done with her encouraging speech.

"Bon Bon is right! Oh! And kid, we did worse mistakes in your age that got people killed, you're fine!" Damon said with a reassuring smile before he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Hope looked at Lizzie and Josie confused at Damon's demeanor.

"He changed since he turned into a human, mum says." Josie said with a shrug as she went back to reading what she was reading before.

Hope nodded and then helped Ryan out of the bed and he quickly grasped Nansia's hand again.

The adults downstairs were busy doing their own things, Damon was talking with the vendors trying to get his bar ready for New Years' party, and Elena was doing online medical consulting for people who couldn't get to the hospital due to the ice and snow or because they had no one to take them there, Caroline and Alaric were still looking for a way to prevent the Merge and how to deal with Malivore and they were in constant communication with Dorian, Emma and some other friends who were doing them a solid and looking into things. Jeremy was entertaining a bored Stefanie all day by watching movies and teaching her some self-defense or making cookies. Bonnie was just researching Nansia's symptoms and what are the Watchers, she hadn't come in contact with any of them throughout her life living in the supernatural part of the world.

They had faith that if something changes in Nansia's condition the girls would let them know.

Two hours later:

Ryan and the girls had started playing UNO for the past hour and entering the second hour of playing when Nansia's hand slapped Ryan's face causing Ryan to fall to the ground and the girls to gasp and chuckle as Nansia's confused eyes met Hope's hopeful ones and tried to get on her elbows but felt very weak.

"Take it easy!" Ryan whispered as he rushed to her side and Nansia smiled weakly seeing him as she cupped his face giving it a small squeeze and Ryan kissed her hand.

"How do you feel?" Josie asked concerned as Lizzie handed her a glass of water with a metal straw in it and Hope reclined Nansia's head helping her drink some water.

"I feel weak…and sick." Nansia said with a hoarse voice and the girls sighed in relief.

"We have to get mum." Lizzie said anxiously and Ryan nodded as he ducked under the bed causing a confused look to cross over Nansia's eyes as tilted her head accusingly to Hope who chuckled.

"They have no idea he's here." Hope whispered and Nansia nodded and smiled a bit. Lizzie opened the door once Ryan was out of sight enough and rushed downstairs.

In minutes Nansia's room was filled with concerned adults asking her how is she feeling and what they could do to help her. Nansia said she was hungry which made Elena help her up and carefully walk her down to the kitchen where Elena had prepared a plate to feed her niece some much-needed food! Nansia ate slowly feeling her bones being in pain with every move she made while Stefanie rushed and showed her the pictures she drew for her and wished her to get well soon. Then Nansia asked her to explain her drawings which launched Stefanie into a rambling frenzy explaining how she drew using what material and what her pictures showed.

An hour later, Elena helped her back up the stairs and they saw Lizzie and Hope changing her sheets as they let her know they had run hot water for her. With Elena's expert help since she was a doctor and knew how to handle patients, Nansia managed to undress and get into the bathtub.

"Are you okay?" Elena asked concerned not missing the tense shoulders and the sight of fear etched in her eyes while she was undressing in front of Elena. And Elena saw the scars on her back from her meeting with this TRIAD agent. Anger and worry were burning in her veins for both the physical scars and the emotional scars this girl before she was carrying and the sick fucks that raised her.

"I'm fine…I know you won't harm me…it's just…I haven't taken a bath in 130 years if my calculations aren't wrong considering with the time travel counted I'm 156 years old now…I never felt clean after baths or showers…but I prefer showers they are quicker and I can control them better." Nansia explained anxiously and Elena smiled sadly as she nodded understanding the thought process.

"Think of it as such, Nansia, you are too weak to be standing on your feet, it's a necessity now and you can say no if you want and we can go to the shower downstairs." Elena said gently and Nansia watched her eyes searching to see if she was mad or annoyed with her but saw nothing but compassion and understanding.

"I have a better idea…can we drain the water? I will bend down to do my hair first and then get in the tub and use it as a shower. It's how I used to do back home because we didn't have showers we had tubs." Nansia said a little bit more thrilled. Elena nodded without a second word and drained the tub and then helped Nansia bend forward and remained close in case she slipped.

"Want some music?" Elena asked as she saw the ALEXA on the mirror counter and Nansia nodded.

"Jazz music?" Elena asked smiling recalling how she had heard Jazz music coming from here whenever Nansia was showering and Nansia kindly said yes. Jazz music instantly filled the room and Nansia felt more comfortable and Elena saw it in her posture and muscles relaxing.

Then helped her put her hair up in the towel and then helped her in the tub and waited to help her out of it and walk to her room. Nansia thanked Elena hundreds of times.

While she was showering Hope and the girls helped Ryan to sneak away and made them promise once she was out of the shower and ate something to call him to talk. Nansia was freshly showered and sitting in her bed as she ate a plate of food that Damon and Stefanie had prepared for her.

Nansia then texted Ryan saying how she was too exhausted to talk but they could text if he wanted so they were texting for a bit. Hope and the twins with Stefanie appeared in her room after she ate and they just hang out watching funny videos on YouTube. Nansia was tired quickly and fell asleep as the girls were laughing at some videos and when they realized that they quietly tip-toed out of the room shutting the door behind them.

So? What do you think? Too many things happening at once, eh?

Things are sort of getting into a trajectory for the beginning of my multiverse of chaos I have come up with.
