...Well, the past few days have been tiring. I hope everyone is doing okay, especially with every weird piece of news falling on us at once. I won't speak much more about it, but I hope everyone is okay after this and that everyone fact checks things before talking about it. A lot of things are happening at once and sometimes facts and stories are published that have little truth to them.

Anyway, I hope you're all ready for this. This starts some storylines I've been dying to get my hands on and some are going to be fun to hurt you with. Hopefully you're all mentally prepared for it.

Either way, I hope you enjoy and I'll see you at the end of the chapter!

After the incident involving Hellscream and Crabgrass settled, with Bloodgood receiving medical attention and everyone from both schools being informed about what happened, things calmed down for a bit. However, two distinct things happened right after.

The first was of little consequence. The rest of the week had their classes cancelled due to the incident and students were advised, but not ordered, to mostly stay in their dorms until things were settled. Construction crews were called to Monster High in order to fix any damages and reverse Eddy's manipulations of the environment. There was also the matter of getting a swift trial for both Hellscream and Crabgrass.

It was said that during Hellscream's trial that he kept talking about how Monsters and Legends were converting humans into becoming them, something about turning their weaknesses against them. It was dismissed as paranoid ranting and a desperate attempt to prevent his memory from being erased.

Monster High and other information about the encounter are said to have wiped from his brain. Crabgrass, on the other hand, is still under trial.

The second consequence of the fight was that everything had to be told to the students of both schools, along with their parents, in order to maintain transparency. In addition to this, somebody (Blondie) somehow got their hands-on surveillance footage of the fights, the rescue, and even some footage from the end. The last part was provided by her stagehand, Dexter Charming, though where she got the other footage, no one knew.

This was to be expected, though. Something like that, explosive as it was, would never be put under the radar. People would have questions, questions that needed answers. Considering the enormity of a monster hunter sneaking into a Monster school, with plans to cause chaos in both it and the Legend's main school? That raises quite a few questions.

There were several main ones that concerned anyone that learned about the situation, some that were more striking than others. What would happen now that something this catastrophic happened on their territory? How would the student body react to this, especially since they would've been the victims? And just who in the world were the Ed's, and why hasn't anyone heard anything about them until now?

The first question was answered with tighter security measures around the schools and teachers on high alert for any strange behavior.

The second was addressed by the student body becoming the slightest bit more fearful. The activity from the teachers and administration on both sides only made them more paranoid of not only outsiders, but of each other.

As for the third? Well, there wasn't any clear answer for that. As far as anyone knew, three boys with distinct abilities just appeared, went to their schools, and uncovered a conspiracy against everyone only to squash it with some help of the most powerful people in both schools.

This is where things get complicated.

"Eddy, I know how this makes you feel, but that doesn't mean you have to use that sort of language." Double D rolled his eyes as he held the MirrorPhone away from his head a little as more cursing could be heard from it. "Okay, now you're just being immature."

Double D walked down the empty hallways of Ever After High, holding the phone close to him just in case. He had some things to do around the school and figured he'd check up on the others. Unfortunately, Eddy was apparently still a little ticked off about the conversation they had earlier after the fight ended.

"I swear that Cerise won't say anything. No, I'm not going to say why she won't." Double D wasn't sure if it was his place to say anything about Cerise's situation, so he'd kept it under lock and key. "As long as I hold up my end of the deal, everything should be fine. Besides, she's our friend. She won't do anything that would actually jeopardize us."

Double D listened to the other end of the conversation for a few seconds before sighing. "If you're going to be that way, we'll have this conversation later."

He hung up before the other boy could protest, grumbling to himself. He'd told Ed and Eddy everything last night about the situation and neither exactly reacted all that well to it. They'd argued all night about it and still hadn't reached an agreement about the situation, something that irked him to no end.

Double D figured that they'd talk things out eventually. They'd have to after Bloodgood was released from the hospital. He couldn't help but thank the fact that she was only slightly dehydrated and needed to make up for some missing meals.

Until she got discharged, maybe he should try to talk to Cerise. If he wanted everyone to calm down, he needed to make sure actually spreading her secret to them would make things even.

An answer to that prayer came as a hand suddenly grabbed him, pulling him into a classroom. Double D almost jumped the gun and let out some of the metal tentacles before realizing it was Cerise herself.

"My dad wants to- woah, someone's ready for a fight." Cerise backed up a little at the hostile display. "Still tense after the Hellscream thing?"

"You could say that. I thought you were Blondie Lockes for a moment." Double D quickly put them away, calming his heart rate. He really needed to block that girl's number after this, the way she'd been calling him. "You were saying your father wanted to talk to me?"

"Yes, I do."

Double D flinched at the sudden introduction, sighing to himself softly. He gave a sidelong glance towards Badwolf, who was sitting at the teacher's desk. It would've looked intimidating if the chair hadn't obviously been built for someone smaller than the burly man. Not to mention Double D was armed all to hell.

Still, respect had to be paid.

"Good morning, Mr. Badwolf." Double D calmly moved into the chair in front of the man. He figured this would happen and it would be nice to get it out of the way. "I'm glad to see you're doing well. You've gotten rid of all the evidence in that folder, correct?"

"Yes, we have." They'd burned it, Cerise and him. They made sure nothing escaped out of that office that would implicate anything about themselves. "I was also informed of some things on your end that are a little… concerning, if you don't mind me saying."

"Quit acting cryptic, dad. He knows why he's here." Cerise rolled her eyes at her father's antics, giving Double D a raised eyebrow. She'd been nervous and suspicious of him since their confrontation in Hellscream's office. "We're talking about the human thing."

"Makes sense." The hatted boy shrugged, scratching the back of his neck. "What is it that you want to know, exactly? I understand having questions, but I believe we have other matters attend to after this."

"What exactly are you doing here?" Badwolf figured he'd head right to the point on this one. He could see Cerise give him a glare, but the boy was right. "And be honest about it. You haven't shown yourself to be a threat to anyone, but your intentions are still unclear."

"That's it? A fair question, I suppose." Double D didn't want to elaborate on it, he truly didn't. Then again, another human did just infiltrate the schools to destroy them, so being curious about his was a good point. "It's nothing malevolent if that's what you mean. My friends are trying to help out with things around here, don't you worry."

"Your friends?" Cerise muttered to herself before stiffening. "Wait, are Ed and Eddy human too? How the hell did you fake that?"

"Engineering, creativity, along with a generous use of practical effects." The boy shrugged, using it as a distraction. "Eddy actually figured out how to do the magic components himself. I'm quite proud of him for that."

"Don't change the subject." Badwolf rubbed at his eyes, sighing deeply. "All I want to know is why you, and your friends, are here. As much as I want to be polite about this, you can understand my suspicions."

Double D cringed, clamming up for a moment. He was really hoping that would work. "And like I said before, Mr. Badwolf, there's nothing to be afraid of. My motives aren't even complex."

"Then tell me what they are." Badwolf put his hands together on the desk, glowering at the boy, eyes glinting gold. "I'll wait if I have to."

Eddward actually felt a sting at the disapproving look before it was overtaken by stubbornness. The two just stared each other down for a few tense seconds, neither relenting. It would've gone on longer if a long sigh didn't pierce the silence.

"Double D, are you guys homeless?" Cerise's question caused the boy to flinch slightly, breaking the stare down first. "Eddy had that whole story about you guys selling knock off stuff so you could buy food and you did say you left your hometown. It's not that hard to figure out."

"Is-is that true?" Badwolf's anger seemed to subside at the logic, blinking slowly. The gold seemed to drain from his eyes long enough to give the boy another once over. Suspicion turned to pity in moments.

Double D couldn't help but feel a slight bit… irritated at that? He didn't know why.

"Yes, fine." Double D threw up his arms before slouching back into the chair. His face morphed into uncharacteristic petulance. "My friends and I are homeless. Are you happy now?"

"No?" Cerise felt a little hurt that he was acting like this. This wasn't going how she hoped at all. She needed to calm things down. "We just needed to know. You haven't given us a lot to go on here."

"Why did you leave your hometown?" Badwolf tried to get stern again, but it wasn't exactly working. He seemed to sense the boy's irritation at the show of pity and tried collecting himself. "I don't understand why you would come here instead if that was the case. It seems like a very risky decision to me."

That obviously wasn't the right thing to say as Double D frowned, an eye twitching at the accusation. He abruptly stood up, glaring down at the man despite Badwolf being taller than he was.

"I'm making a risky decision?" Double D said lowly, narrowing his eyes. "I wouldn't say anything about that, considering who you decided to marry, Mr. Badwolf."

"Excuse me?" Badwolf wasn't angered by the sudden attack, but the switch confused him. He backed up a little as he noticed Double D gritting his teeth.

"I'm assuming you knew the risks of marrying Mrs. Hood. The fact you'd never have your relationship public, that anyone that figured out could possibly shun you if they discovered it." The boy started counting things out with his fingers. "And not only did you two continue being married, but you also decided to have two children at that. Two children that would never be able to tell anyone the full truth about themselves under similar, if not worse threats than you."

"Double D, please calm down. We just wanted to understand, okay?" Cerise tried reaching out for her friend, but he jerked away at the sudden contact. "We don't need a recap here."

"Cerise, you almost had a panic attack as soon as I discovered your secret. I had to tell you mine, not only to calm you down, but to make sure you knew I wouldn't abuse that knowledge." Double D's tone was harsh, causing the other two to wilt under it. He pointed at Badwolf with an accusing finger. "And he's accusing me of making risky decision here? What a joke."

Double D moved towards the door before the two could protest. "We're done here. I'm going to tell Ed and Eddy about this since you know about them."

"Come on man, just wait-" Cerise flinched as the door to the classroom was slammed shut, a raised hand falling as it did. She groaned lightly, sitting in the chair the boy previously occupied and put her head in her hands. "We could've handled that better. We could've handled it so much better."

"Yeah." Badwolf gulped, unclenching his hands before sighing sadly. "We definitely could've."

Apple found herself in Grimm's office yet again, very reminiscent to the beginning of the year. Except this time, she had company.

"Apple, Daring!" Grimm finally made it into the office, trying to put on a friendly smile. The stress of the situation was getting to him, but he was trying to put on a face until it was over. "I'm sorry to bother you two, but I felt the need to talk to you for a second."

"Oh, it's nothing major, Headmaster." Daring waved off the concern with a smile. "I've mostly just been helping Dexter with his sword fighting skills. I don't how well it's working, but his reflexes are getting better."

"Raven and I have been working on some things together for our little group. Mostly just brainstorming." Apple followed Daring's example, smile bright as she said this. "There hasn't exactly been time to implement any of them, but we'll get started shortly afterward."

"Sounds wonderful!" Grimm's tone made it sound like he thought it wasn't, but Apple didn't really question it. "That's actually a perfect segue for this. Have you two been talking about your destinies lately?"

The girl winced at the mention, though she wasn't really surprised. The headmaster was bound to drill her on this sooner or later.

"Unfortunately, no. The Hellscream incident took up quite a bit of our focus and we're talking more on the aftermath." Apple knew that there'd be significant aftershocks after the fight ended, something that only proved itself further as time went on. "Shouldn't we be focusing on that first, actually? I am trying to talk her up to it, but Hellscream's intrusion-"

"Yes, but that's been taken care of." Grimm sat down in his chair with a thump, nipping the suggestion in the bud. "However, the Rebel problem still remains all the same. And it seems to only be growing."

"He's got a point. I've been hearing a lot about people wanting to part from their own stories and try and strike it out on their own." Daring shrugged, leaning back into his chair. "Didn't really seem like they were willing to commit to it, though. Plus, it wasn't exactly like they were large parts of their stories."

"Every story is important, Daring. That includes the characters in it." Grimm sighed, exhaustion of having to explain this time and time again. "Though I suppose that is good news. Talking about doing it, though, is just one step away from actually doing so."

"Headmaster Grimm?" Apple raised her hand daintily to catch the man's attention. "I am trying to get Raven to follow our story. And I do worry about how this keeps on effecting other people's stories, but can we focus on the Hellscream thing. It has everyone on edge."

"She's got a point, y'know."

The three paused at the sound of the new voice, looking towards a previously unoccupied space to find Ed sitting there, reading a Deadfast comic book. He didn't notice the weirded-out stares from them, only shrugging at their confusion. "What?"

"Ed, when did you get here?" Apple looked around, wondering where he even got the chair. "Why are you even at Ever After High? I thought you'd be staying around Monster High till this was over."

"I felt like someone was watching me and figured I'd check on everyone here." Ed shrugged, putting the comic book away in one pocket and pulled out a note from another. "Plus, I visited Bloodgood and she wanted to pass on a message to Grimm."

"Oh dear lord." Grimm deflated at the declaration. Of course Bloodgood would send her more terrifying students to send a message to him. "What does she have to say that she can't wait for later?"

"Well, when I talked to her, she under some medication that made her loopy, so I had to censor some things before coming here." Ed pulled out a fake pair of glasses to look at it closely. "Dear Grimm. You better not be pulling anything while I'm gone, especially if it happens to involve some of my students."

"Bloodgood's the Dullahan that works at Monster High, right?" Daring whispered to Apple, who only nodded. "Good. Scary lady, what I've heard."

"This does include the students heavily involved with bringing our two schools together. Let them conduct their business as is." Ed shrugged, putting the note away. "She started going off on stuff about your time in high school, but if I cleaned any of that up, they wouldn't form real sentences."

"Sounds like her." Grimm had his forehead against the wood of his desk at this point. His shoulders shook, like he was silently weeping. "Really likes to nurse a grudge. The nerve of that woman…"

"At least it sounds like she's doing alright." Apple tried to help ease this back on track. "Is she expected to be out of the hospital anytime soon?"

"It won't take long. She's probably going to get better out of spite." Ed laughed for a few seconds before suddenly stopping. "Does anyone else here sense danger, or is that just me?"

The door to the office was opened once again, this time a smaller person flitting through the frame. Blondie Lockes was looking over papers while balancing out her microphone.

"Headmaster Grimm, I've been meaning to talk to you about some things lately, but you haven't been answering your office phone." Blondie kept moving in, eventually looking up when she was a good deal inside. "You should also get some better locks next time- wait, it's you!"

Blondie pointed straight at Ed, causing the boy to instantly get up and run towards the closest window. Before anyone could stop him, he opened it up and dove right out without saying a word.

The others were quick to crowd around the window, desperately looking to make sure he was okay. They all let out a shared sigh of relief as they saw the brief moment of his monster form moving between some towers before disappearing completely.

"This is going to be the year I retire." Grimm slouched against the window, hitting his head against the glass gently. "After this round of stories is over, that's it. No more after that."

Eddy walked down the halls of Monster High, keeping an eye out for the damage while heading towards the classroom he'd been called to. He casually reversed anything that caught his attention, though left some of the bigger stuff to the construction crews running around.

He noted that some of the people that were still wandering the school hallways were giving him a wide berth, something he couldn't help but be proud about. It wasn't an ideal thing, obviously, but it certainly bumped up his mood knowing he inspired a tiny bit of fear.

Eddy didn't even have to look to closely to find the vacant classroom, just casually walking in. It took him only a few seconds to find Cleo, Raven, and Ghoulia standing over something on a teacher's desk.

"Are we playing a prank on that Mr. Rotter guy Double D keeps complaining to me about." Eddy tried to peek over their shoulders. "If so, I suggest something explosive. Doesn't matter what kind, but the right one should catch him by surprise."

"It's not that, though if he ever gives me a pop quiz again." Cleo got everyone to back up a bit before snapping her fingers and pointing towards Ghoulia. "Mind explaining to the other two why they're here."

"With pleasure." Ghoulia adjusted her glasses, a shine appearing on them before she started. "I'm assuming that we're all still reeling from the Hellscream incident, correct?"

"To say the least." Raven shuddered at the memory of carrying a limp Bloodgood. "We at least got him and Crabgrass before they could leave."

"Indeed. However, even though we did an excellent job in catching them, it was still a nerve-wracking experience." Ghoulia sent a look towards Eddy. "Especially since we could only send three people to take them down."

"If you're mad about that, it's not like we had a lot of time to build anything else." Eddy showed off the Transmutation ring with a flourish. "It's amazing I even made this in one night, carving some of the runes in. Didn't even have time to practice."

"That may be true, but that doesn't mean we can't be prepared in the future." Cleo leaned against the desk casually, though there was visible tension in her arms. "I'd rather have some back up plans in case you three happen to be indisposed off."

Raven frowned at that, narrowing her eyes at the others while taking a step back.

"What is this really about?" She asked gently, the two Monsters stiffening at the question. "It sounds like you're talking about arming ourselves here. Isn't that a little too far for a single incident?"

The two Monsters briefly looked at each other before turning their eyes downward. Ghoulia eventually took the initiative, talking slower than normal.

"I'm not going to lie to you, Raven; this whole thing has freaked us out." The zombie looked like she wanted to pick some better words than that, but it was the truth. "The entire school is, but us especially. While our roles in this were important, especially in saving Bloodgood, I do feel we need some firepower of our own to feel safer."

"You may feel okay with your contribution, but all I did was wait around until they were brought to me." Cleo got up, grabbing the item off the table to finally show it off. "Which is why I took the initiative and found the one I'd like to have."

It was an Egyptian style staff, something that most of the people expected. It looked like it was made of solid gold, which was characteristic of Cleo, having what looked like a four headed creature at the top of it. The creature's heads of consisted of two falcons of different species, a lioness, and a dogs head.

Overall, it looked pretty much what you'd expect to find in a tomb, or in this case, Cleo's closet. However, one detail of it stood out.

"Where are the eyes?" Eddy noted the empty eye sockets, most likely where gems would be. It honestly looked creepier without them, especially since the animals were glaring with such stony expressions. "Did somebody pick them out?"

"Unfortunately. During one of the times when my family went into hibernation to hopefully speed up the process of being freed, some grave robbers came in and took the gems." Cleo looked at the staff, considerably ticked off. "It was supposed to be a very useful, magical staff, but since the coup caught us by surprise, my family never had a chance to use it."

"What's it supposed to do?" Raven could outright sense some magical energy from the thing, but it was too weak for any actual use. "It certainly looks like you can give someone a concussion, but not for much else."

"That's where you and Eddy come in. We want you two to replace the eyes with cursed gems." As Ghoulia said this, Cleo tossed the staff to him. "It seems like you would be able to fix the problem with little issue."

"Yeah, one problem with that, Thriller." Eddy pointed at the eyes once again. "Finding any cursed gems from Raven's collection that fit this is nearly impossible. Not to mention transmuting cursed gems usually resorts in them exploding. I've run plenty of tests to figure that out."

"That's where Raven actually comes in." Cleo was hesitant to keep talking, a rare occurrence. "Considering the fact we don't need anymore explosions we can handle, and some of the lessons Raven's mother may have taught her…"

Raven blinked as the mummy trailed off before flatly replying. "No."

"We figured you'd say that but hear us out." Ghoulia raised her hands up in a comforting manner. "Just because your mother may have taught you some unethical practices doesn't mean you can't use those lessons for a good cause."

"You're asking me to make cursed gems that my mom taught me use against political opponents to make a weapon instead." Raven really wasn't seeing the logic here like they were. She was debating one whether that was actually worse than its intended purpose. "Explain to me how that works."

"Technically, that staff isn't a weapon. It's more of a tool than anything else, closer to Double D's octo arms." Cleo really hoped this worked, especially since it had been a pain to take the staff out of her home. "Some applications are close, but it can be used other than that."

"I actually agree with Queenie. Big surprise, I know." Eddy shrugged, holding the staff with clear interest. "Plus, think of it this way; you're doing this for an ultimate good, which would really tick off your mom."

"Not the argument I would've gone with, but a good one all the same." Ghoulia was ready to plead if she had to. "It won't be the only thing powered by cursed gems either. Believe it or not, the Ed's actually may have found a great power source that could revolutionize things. If anything, you'd be furthering science and green energy. Please consider it."

The sorceress wanted to argue further, but it wasn't like anything they were saying wasn't true. Double D did power his octo arms with cursed stones, it was essentially clean energy, and it would definitely make her mom mad if it was used for good.

"Fine. Okay, I'll make some cursed gems. But only as long as it's used for what we're making." Raven sighed, figuring that that was good enough for a moral compromise. She wanted to change the subject, though. "What exactly is that staff called?"

"Ah, right. It's been a while since it's been used, but it's called the Worshippers Staff, thanks to the gods it represents." Cleo counted off the gods in order. "There's the god of the sun, the god of the underworld, the god of vengeance, and the god of war and healing. There's other projects to talk about after starting this one, so don't think about it too much."

Eddy looked into the eyes of the staff itself before hefting it over a shoulder, smirking lightly. "Where do you want to start first?"

Clawdeen had a lot of time to think and review what happened over the Hellscream fiasco. There were some high points and low points but considering the mass amount of things that happened within such a short time period, she needed time to digest everything.

She accepted most of it with ease. Hellscream wanted to tear apart the school because he was a racist. Crabgrass helped him because of recent efforts to bring the schools together. And they were able to save everyone by stopping them.

The only thing she hadn't processed was that little conversation she'd overheard.

Honestly, the fact that Cerise was related to Badwolf wasn't too shocking or hurtful to know. She'd sensed day one that they probably shared more in common than just some sports hobbies, so this was just confirmation. The werewolf actually felt a bit bad for overhearing, especially since she had a reason to be scared of anyone knowing. Banishment was a really horrible punishment in both communities for a reason, and that was the probably the lightest sentence Cerise would get if it ever came out.

Double D was out of left field though. She had no clue what to think about that.

He's human. Or he claimed that he's human. Has been the whole time and apparently not only fooled her, but everyone in both schools with ease. That was outright unbelievable, and she'd refused to think about that for hours after hearing about it.

Of course, if he was human, what the hell was he doing here then? How did he even get in? What are his motives and what about his friends too? How deep did this go?

"Well, someone looks like they're overworking their brain again."

Clawdeen had to fight the urge to claw at the voice, snapping her head towards Maddie. She must've snuck in when she was deep in thought about all of this.

"I wouldn't worry your pretty little head too much. It'd be a waste if you fried it before the world could use it." The hatter put a cup of tea onto the table in front of the werewolf, raising an eyebrow. "Still processing the fight?"

"You have no idea." Clawdeen grabbed the tea immediately, taking a careless gulp from it. She'd missed it so much that the burn as it went down didn't bother her at all. "Some information is just sticking with me. Just working it out."

"I'm guessing you read some of the posts about it." Maddie had her own cup, moving to sit next to the other girl. "I'm sorry if you had to read that list. It was… a little disturbing."

The hatter wasn't wrong in any capacity. The next and final stage of Hellscream's plan was to kidnap and hide several students until the conflict started. He'd actually prepared a long list of possible candidates that would most likely incite the most violence.

Draculaura was on that list. Howleen, her own sister, was also on that list.

It hadn't been a fun read.

"Certainly had a fun talk at dinner about it, but that ain't the only thing I'm talking about." Clawdeen really didn't want to relive her panicked parents asking what the heck she was thinking doing any of that. They'd only stopped when they decided to phone the school to ask how this all came to pass. "Got something else on my mind."

"Must be pretty important then." Maddie was obviously trying to get it out of her. She wasn't stupid, but neither was Clawdeen. "Anything you'd like to share?"

Clawdeen hummed to herself, tapping the cup lightly. She wasn't exactly sure how to share any of this without completely blurting it out in one breath. She had to be careful just in case this wasn't what she thought it was.

"If you knew something about your friend that was super sketchy, what would you do?" It came out simply, but her voice was hoarse. She had no idea this affected her so much. "I'm talking about something that could change everything you knew about them. Makes everything that they've done and will do very suspect."

"I figured it would be something dramatic and a little terrible." Maddie put down her cup, frowning to herself. "The narrator having a dramatic monologue in the beginning always signifies that. When will they learn?"

Clawdeen just blinked at the sentence, completely lost. This gave the hatter enough time to formulate an actual response, carefully picking out her words.

"I'd try and learn more about what they're actually doing first. Kind of like what we did with Hellscream, if gentler." Maddie shrugged, unsure of how to proceed. "I'd also make sure if they're actually doing anything wrong first. Maybe there's some context you're missing from this."

That was the most logical thing to ever come out of Maddie's mouth. Clawdeen honestly understood it and agreed with it, even if this was a little bigger than just minor crime.

Double D was bigger than Hellscream when it came to being a threat. Obviously, he built the octo arms with little effort and some definite intelligence behind it. While Crabgrass was weaker on the power scale, it was still terrifying how he took her on the way he did. And then there's the fact he kept adding to his octo arms with ease.

And if he was human, who could say about the other two? If they turned and became threats, Hellscream wouldn't even be remembered at all. The schools would be rubble.

Clawdeen let out a breath she was holding in. She had a proposition to make.

"Maddie, I need your help with something." The werewolf started before she could chicken out. "There's something I need to investigate, and I need help doing it. I don't know how well it'll go or what I'll find, but you're support would mean the world to me."

The hatter seemed to be taken aback by the sudden question, but the intensity in the werewolf's eyes made her answer before she could think. "Of course. What do you need me to do?"

"We need to look into Double D." Clawdeen gripped the cup tight, thoughts running wild on what she'd do next. "There's something I need to know."

She needed to find out why he was here if he was actually human. Not just for herself, not just for her friends, but for her family. Howleen almost got kidnapped because a human snuck in with less than pure intentions. There was possibly three, very powerful ones here with motives she didn't know at all. She hoped that it wasn't anything bad, but she'd be prepared if it were.

You don't ever mess with a werewolf's pack. You rarely live to talk about it.

If you're all wondering why Clawdeen's acting like this, remember; she just had her school infiltrated by a man with less than good intentions that targeted her family. She has right to be suspicious right now.

I will say the arcs coming up will be heavy with emotion from time to time, so I hope you enjoy it all the same. Just remember, I try not to add things without reason, so everything will have some type of meaning to it.

I hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you all next chapter!
