Sora and C.A. Cupid

Up in Cupid's studio, the young cherub sits at her desk. She sighs as she takes a sip of her tea. "I'm glad you came," she looks over at her guest and cohost, Abby Bominable.

"You say that you are in need of help," the Yeti says in her thick Russian-like accent before she takes a sip of her own tea. "It is what friends do, No? So, what is trouble."

"You see, there's this boy," Cupid looks away. "And when I see him I get this sickly feeling in my stomach that also makes me feel wonderful at the same time," she sets her cup of tea down on the desk. Unaware that she hit a switch and the 'On-Air' sign lights up.

Abby raises a brow at the cherub. "It sounds like you are in love," the blush on Cupid's face did not go unnoticed. "You understand irony of a love goddess asking for love advice?"

"I know, I know," Cupid covers her face. "I would recall all of my advice, go over them again and again in my head. Only to approach him and then nothing. My mind goes blank," she looks up at her cohost. "You are the only other love expert in this entire school. Plus, I'm embarrassed to let anyone else know that the daughter of Eros is in need of love advice," she smiles sheepishly.

"Heh!" Abby could not help but to chuckle at the thought. "My advice is to be forward. No subtle hints you always suggest."

"I can't. Every time I approach him, I just shut down and become the typical timid schoolgirl with a crush."

"You need practice," the yeti announces and places her cup down. "Pretend I am this boy and go over what you want to say."

Cupid looks to the yeti, unsure of the idea. She takes a deep breath. "I always tell others that love doesn't have to be scary. But I guess that's only because I never felt it myself. In truth, love is very scary but it's the courage to get past that fear is what makes it so special. Since meeting you, I started questioning my views and knowledge of love. I don't know if what I feel is love, but I would like to find out, Sora."

It was at that moment ringing started to sound throughout the studio. Both ghouls turn to the table and that is when they notice that they are on air. So many calls coming in at once. More than what their show usually gets. All those callers. How much have they heard?

Abby goes to the mic and flips a switch. "This is Abby where love is no game."

"Oh, my ghoul!" a voice screams through the speaker. "Cupid's in love with Sora?"

Cupid stopped listening after that. They know, the whole school knows. Does he know? The cherub ran out of her studio. Unsure of where she will go. Before the ghoul knew it, she found herself deep in the catacombs.

Sora is traveling through the catacombs with Operetta as a guide. The phantom opens a door to peek in. She then closes it back and turns to the boy. "She's still here, sugar. I'll leave the two of ya alone," she then walks away from the door.

The key bearer opens the door to see Cupid rolled up in the corner. Sora walks up to the ghoul and kneels next to her. "Cupid?"

The cherub looks up at the boy from another world. Blood shot eyes revealing that she has been crying. "I'm guessing you heard?" she tells him.

"Yeah," Sora nods. "The whole school has, actually."

Cupid clutches her head. "I can't believe this. It's so embarrassing. I didn't what you to find out this way. I should have told you myself when I had the chance," tears start to run down her face once again. "I'm supposed to be a goddess of love. I never should have had this problem in the first place. Now my reputation is on the line just because I couldn't confess to you. But I let it get out, live. What I did was foolish, stupid, and overall crazy!"

There was silence for what seems like eternity before Sora spoke. "A friend of mine once told me that 'people do crazy things when they're in love'. I know that I would do something crazy. Especially for you."

The cherub looks up at him. "Are, are you saying that you love me?"

"I don't know if what I feel is love," he smiles at the ghoul. Not his usual goofy contagious smile. This one is sincere. "But I would like to find out."

The ghoul wipes away her tears and smiles back at Sora. Perhaps this all turn out for the best.

Peeking from behind a cracked open door is Abby, who smiles at the couple. "Job here is done," she says as she wipes her hands together.
