Sora and Howleen Wolf
A shout leaves the Catacombs. Running out of one of the well-known entrances from the Catacombs and into Monster High is Howleen Wolf. She seems panicked as the ghoul rounds the corner.
Not long after, Sora walks out holding onto the side of his neck. The normie looks both ways, trying to figure out where the ghoul went. "What was that about?" with a shrug, "I'll talk to her later," the boy summons his Keyblade and shouts "Heal!" The spell he casts stopped the bleeding, but unknown to him, Sora has a visible scarring left on his neck.
.oOo.
Howleen rushes through the school and into the gymnasium. "Clawdeen!" she shouts and ends up disturbing a pyramid.
Cleo pushes herself up. "There better be a good reason for your little sister to ruin our near perfect routine!" she glares at the older wolf sibling.
Clawdeen helps Draculaura up before assisting Frankie. "I'm sure there is," she turns to her little sister. She wanted to snap at the pink haired wolf, only to notice how panicked she is. "Howleen, what's wrong?"
"I-I messed up and did something stupid!"
"What!? What did you do?"
The rest of the Fear Squad starts gathering around the younger Wolf sibling out of worry.
"You know how you, Clawd, and Dad said that you don't want to hear about me dating for a long time?"
"Yeah. What about it?"
The fidgeting Howleen looks away from her sister, "I've sorta been dating behind your backs."
"What!?" Clawdeen growls. "Who is he? Did he hurt you? Whose throat do I need to rip out!?"
"Sora would never—" the younger sister's hands fly up to her mouth.
"That little!" the older sister growls as she makes her way to the gym's exit. Only, she ends up having her friends block her path.
"Chill out, Clawdeen," Draculaura has a latch on her best friend's arm.
"Yeah," Frankie agrees. "It's Sora. I can't imagine he'd hurt anyone, little alone Howleen."
"It was the other way around, actually," Howleen says above a whisper.
"You hurt Sora?" Cleo raises a brow at that. "Why in Ra's name would you do that?"
The younger would ghoul starts fiddling her fingers. "We snuck into the Catacombs for a secret date. My idea. Then we started making out. I got really into it. And then, and then I…"
Clawdeen pinches the bridge of her nose. "Howleen! Please tell me you didn't do what I think you did."
Howleen just nods her head. "I marked Sora!"
.oOo.
Sora walks towards his locker, rubbing his still sore neck.
"Woah!" Heath walks up. "Where'd you get that sick scar, man?"
"Scar?" the normie tilts his head.
"Uh, yeah? It's plain for everyone to see," the fire elemental gestures to Sora's neck.
The boy takes out his iCoffin in camera mode. "Huh?" there is indeed a large scaring on the side of his neck. Looking more like the remnants of a bite mark.
A familiar voice then reaches his ears. "Hey, Sora!"
The Keyblade Wielder sighs. Not looking forward to the flirting. "Not right now, Amanita," he turns to the plant ghoul.
Amanita gives him a wry smile. "I know you want me, Sora. Everyone does." Suddenly the ghoul's face contorts, and she holds her nose. "What is that dreadful smell? Ugh! I need to get out of here," the plant monster walks away.
Sora tilts his head before lifting his arm to smell himself. "I don't smell that bad. Do I?"
Heath then smells the normie. "I don't think so. Maybe she was talking about me?" the fire elemental then sniffs himself. "Nope! I'm clean, man."
"Sora!" Bloodgood's voice sounds from the school's intercom "Please come to my office immediately!"
.oOo.
As soon as Sora enters the office, he got a bad feeling. Headmistress' body is sitting behind her desk with her head resting on the desk. On both sides stands Clawdeen and Clawd with their arms crossed. Sitting in one of the two seats in front of the desk is Howleen.
The youngest Wolf sibling barley glances at him before turning away.
Bloodgood's body gestures to the empty chair. "Please take a seat, Sora."
The Normie does so. "Did I do something wrong?"
Clawd growls. "That remains to be seen."
"Clawd!" Clawdeen snaps at the older sibling. "Down, boy! Down!" the older sister steps around the desk and up to the normie. She examines the scar before sniffing it. The older Wolf sister sighs. "Yup! He's marked."
"Marked?" Sora covers that part of his neck. "Does this have something to do with why I was bitten?"
"I'm so sorry, Sora!" Howleen breaks down. "I didn't know what I was doing. I'll understand of you hate me! I am so sorry!"
"Why would you be sorry? It was an accident. No big deal. Right?" he looks over at the other Wolf siblings and the headless woman.
"I'm afraid it's not that simple, Sora," Bloodgood informs him. "Among werewolves, when a female chooses a partner, they'll mark them to make them less desirable to anyone attracted to them. This is called being marked," she glances at Howleen. "It usually only happens when a werewolf is much older and both parties are in agreement."
The pink haired ghoul just softly replies, "I'm sorry."
Sora sits there scratching his head. "Is that why Amanita said I stink?"
Clawdeen shrugs. "Most likely. From what our parents told us, it kinds leaves this scent that kinda works as a warning. Any werewolf can sniff out a mark."
Clawd nods. "Usually, other monsters can't smell it, but it leaves a putrid smell to anyone who finds has their eyes on you who didn't leave the mark."
"Now then," Bloodgood's body starts digging into the drawers. "There is a way to reverse being marked. But a guardian's signature is required. Which I'll take care of as your current guardian. Then you must prepare for the ceremony and—"
Sora cuts her off, "What if I don't want the mark removed?" causing everyone to stare at him in disbelief.
Clawd growls, "You better go through with this or I'll—"
"Clawd!" Clawdeen snaps.
Howleen couldn't stop starring. "Sora? Do you know what that means? You can never be with any other ghoul except me."
"I figure as much," he gives her his signature goofy smile. "Here's the thing. I like being with you, Howleen. Don't know why I would want another ghoul that's not you," the keybearer, grabs her hand. "I like you, Howleen. A lot. If this tells others that I'm yours?" he gestures to the mark. "Then, I'll wear it proudly." Every statement makes the youngest Wolf sibling blush redder and redder. "Plus! It works better than any weed repellent against Amanita!"
At this, Howleen burst out laughing before kissing her boofriend. "I have to tell Twyla!" and pulls out her phone and starts messaging her best friend.
"What about the thrill of keeping a secret?"
His ghoulfriend just waves it off. "No point. My brother and sister knows. They're going to blab to their friends most of whom are known for gossip. And I want to tell people myself. In fact!" she pulls the boy into a hug and snaps a picture of them. The ghoul then quickly updates her status and posted the picture to her profile. "And Done!"
Sora however noticed something particular about the post. "You tagged Gory?"
"Hey, I just want everyone to know that we're together," she leans into his side.
"You just want to rub it in her face, don't you?"
"Yes, yes I do."
The normie stands pulling his now public ghoulfriend up along with him. "Well, then. How about we go walk by her locker hand in hand?"
"I'd love to!" Howleen laughs as they leave the office. "Take that, Gory!" and the door closes.
Bloodgood's head turns to the remaining Wolf siblings. "They do realize that they haven't been dismissed?"
Clawd shrugs. "Let them have their fun. Just not too much fun," he lets out low growl.
