Sora and Catty Noir
After her latest show, Catty arrives at the hotel that she is sharing with her friends. And just as the ghoul expected, the paparazzi is there waiting for her. She sighs as she gets out of the limo her manager insists she uses.
"There she is!"
"It's Catty!"
With her head up on high and a smile, the popstar walks up to the hotel, planning on ignoring them. That is, until one of them asked a question.
"Catty! What's it like dating a normie?" a vampire reporter pushes his way past the paparazzi. That got the surrounding monsters to get riled up.
The werecat turns her head, "What!?"
"Sometime after your breakup with Pharoah, there has been reports of you spending a lot of time with this normie," he takes his iCoffin out to show a group photo with Catty, Sora, Frankie, Deuce, and Cleo.
"You mean Sora? He's just a friend."
"Really? Cause the other photos say otherwise."
"Other…photos?" Catty then rushes inside and makes a beeline for the elevator.
Once the elevator closes, the popstar finds herself alone. Taking out her iCoffin, she searches for resent articles featuring her. The first thing that pops up is an image of her and Sora sitting alone together at a fancy restaurant. That was from a group lunch with all her friends. She and the normie were just the first to arrive.
The next image is of the werecat and normie getting in a cab together while wearing disguises. That picture was taken before her first show. They were all heading to the stage but had to take two separate cabs. She and Sora had to take one together since the others had taken up the other. And the disguises were due to Catty not wanting to attract too much attention until they get there.
The last image she looked at was taken at the wrong angle. Catty had hugged Sora just after saving her from a heartless. But from that angle, it appeared that they were kissing.
Catty sighs. Every last one of those pictures were taken out of context. No wonder everyone thinks they're dating.
With a ding, the elevator doors open and Catty walks out, slowly making her way to the suite her and her friends have been sharing.
Opening the door, she finds that her friends were laughing and chatting. It soon became quiet once Catty entered the room. Sora's back was facing her, and he was confused why everyone stopped talking. Turning around he sees what everyone was distracted by.
Sora smiles at her. "Hey, Catty. Something wrong?" he notices that the ghoul seems uneased by something.
"Sora, have you seen the pictures?"
The normie tilts his head. "What pictures?"
"Oh!" Cleo stands, pulling Deuce up along with her. "It's that time already? Deuce-y and I were going to the boovies tonight."
The gorgon raises a brow, "We were?" only to receive a glare from his ghoulfriend. He snaps his fingers. "Oh, right! How could I forget?" the couple leaves the room.
Frankie takes out her iCoffin. "That's Elle. She needs some help, uh? Recharging. Yeah," she heads for the door. "Catch you guys later!"
With that, Sora and Catty were left alone.
"Uh," the normie turns to the ghoul. "What was that about pictures again?"
Catty nervously shows him her iCoffin that still has the images of them together pulled up. "It seems that reporters have been following us the whole time." she watches as Sora curiously looks at the pictures. "I know the paparazzi well enough. They often like taking pictures out of context and thrive on anything they believe will become a scandal."
Sora's face contorts before he scratches his head as if trying to solve a puzzle. "Oh!?" his face lights up. "So that's what Heath meant!"
It was Catty's turn to be puzzled. "Heath?"
"Heath called earlier asking how I got such a score. I thought he was talking about a game," he chuckles. "That explains why he was confused when I gave him pointers on Hero Rush Ultimate."
At that, Catty could not help but laugh. For the boy who saved countless worlds, he sure isn't the brightest. But he tends to bring a smile to her face. "It'll take some time, but I'm sure my manager can pull some strings for damage control."
"What damage is there?" the boy asks. He walks over to the window that overlooks the city. "I've met princesses, kings, and gods, teamed up with great heroes, I even fought in a war. But I never dated a popstar before."
Catty walks up next to him and views the sunset. She has seen this view many times before, but something about this moment makes it more valuable. The ghoul reaches for the boy's hand and takes it into her own.
It was at that moment a harpy appears on the other side of the window taking pictures of the two. Catty and Sora covers their eyes to protect them from the flashes.
The werecat glances at the boy and smirks, "You want to give them an authentic picture?" her smile brightens as he returns it. With that, the two officially shared their first kiss.
When they break away, turning back to the harpy who seems more ecstatic at the pictures she's taking, and smile brightly at the camera while waving.
Catty then tells Sora, "You do know this means that they'll never leave you alone, right?"
The normie just shrugs. "Doesn't matter as long as I'm with you, Catty."
Hearing that, the ghoul leans into the boy's side. Not sure where this will lead them. Hoping that it will be someplace special.
"Oh, my manager is going to have a field day with this," she says as her fingers intertwines with Sora's.
