Sora and Catrine DeMew

Catrine leaves the airport and smiles at the city she grew up in. "It feels so great to be back home. Thank you, Sora!" she turns to hug her boyfriend.

"It was nothing, Catrine," the normie returns the hug. "I know what it's like to be homesick and just wanted to make you feel better. So, tell me. Did it work?"

"Oui!" the werecat gives him a peck on the cheek. "Now, let's me show you my home," she then starts dragging the normie around the city. From the Boovre to the Eiffel Terror.

Catrine has been gone for so long, it almost as if she was seeing Scaris for the first time. As for Sora? Even though this is his second visit to the city of love, he still can't help but feel that there is something familiar about this place. Especially that Ogre Dame. What is it about that place?

The two now remain in a park with the boy posing for the ghoul as she paints.

"How much longer for this?" Sora finds it getting harder for him to stay in place from the bench.

"Would it not go faster if you are still, no?" the ghoul peeks over her canvas to reveal her smile. "Almost done, Mon beau."

Sora sits there for a little while as his mind starts wondering and he begins chuckling.

This catches Catrine's attention. "What's so funny?"

"Just remembering how we got together. You remember?"

"Oui!" she looks up at the sky dreamily. "It was not long after coming to Monster High. I saw you around and suddenly, I found all my work revolving around you."

"And one day I overslept and was in a hurry to get to school," Sora continues. "I then ran into you."

The werecat giggles. "You wouldn't stop apologizing even though my mind was on my sketchbook, and I wasn't looking either."

"The same sketchbook you dropped? The one that you didn't want me to touch?" the boy gives her his goofy smile. "I remembered how red your face turned once I picked it up. Much like how it is now."

"Th-that's only because it was opened to a picture of you," Catrine hides her face behind the canvas she's working. "Of you as a knight," she peeks over the painting. "And me as a princess."

Sora chuckles. "I'll gladly be your knight. Whether you're a princess of not."

Catrine then hides her face once again. It took longer than it should have to finish her latest piece as her mind starts wondering over the things her boyfriend had said.

"Tell me more about your home," she looks over at him.

"Again? Okay," Sora shrugs. "I lived on a nice island. It may not seem much, but it was home. My favorite place was just off the shore where we always hung out. There's this paopu tree and before going back home, I loved sitting there watching the sun set."

"Thank you," Catrine puts her paint and brush down. "Would you like to see?"

"About time!" he laughs as he gets off the bench and stretches before walking over to his ghoul friend. He marvels at the painting. It was of him and Catrine leaning against one another while sitting on the paopu tree and by the colors of the sky, it is during the sunset.

"You made me feel better by brining me back home," Catrine tells him. "I wanted to return the favor, but I'm afraid this is the best I could do without one of those candy ships talked about. I'm sorry."

Sora gives her a start as he picks the ghoul up and spins her around. "This is more than enough, Catrine! It's as if you were there," the boy then sets her down and turns back to the portrait. "It's your best piece yet."

Catrine giggles before kissing him. "You say that about all my work."

"That's because they were made by you."

The werecat smiles as she leans into Sora as they admire the painting. She hopes that one day, she can take her boyfriend back home.
