Sora and Howleen Wolf Part 2

Howleen nervously walks into her and her sister's room and finds the older Wolf sibling at work on the sowing machine.

"Clawdeen," the youngest Wolf sibling approaches the older.

"Not now, Howleen," the fashion ghoul waves her off. "I'm trying to finish this new design."

The pink haired ghoul twiddles her thumbs, "Sora is taking me out tonight."

"So?" Clawdeen shrugs. "You two had be dating for a while. What makes this any different?"

"Because this is an actual date." At that, the older sister stops her work and questioning looks at her little sister. Howleen starts pacing back and forth. "Those were just quick moments in the catacombs, or small little picnics in the woods with no one else around. But this?" She turns back around to Clawdeen. "This is a real date out in public. What am I gonna do?" the young ghoul sits down and for a quiet moment, her older sister looks upon her in sympathy.

"Y'know what?" Howleen digs out her iCoffin. "I don't think we're ready yet. This is probably moving too fast for us. We should just cancel," before she could message Sora, her device was snatched away. "Hey!" she reaches for it.

"No you don't!" Clawdeen holds the iCoffin out of her sister's reach. "Talking about moving too fast. You should have thought of that before marking Sora!" she briefly glares and Howleen finally calms down and goes to sit on her bed. "You and Sora obviously like each other," the older Wolf sibling sits next to the younger one. "All you'll be doing is the same thing as you two were doing before. Only difference is, everyone knows about it."

Howleen takes what her sister said in stride and soon rests her face in her hands. She can't believe she had considered canceling it. Now there's only one problem left for her.

"What am I gonna wear?"

Clawdeen herself thought for a moment and her eyes wonder over to her latest project. "Got ya covered, Sis!" she grabs her sister and drags the younger sibling along with her.

"What are you doing?"

"Just need to your measurements and do some adjustments."

"Adjustments for wha—Ouch!" she yelps as she poked with a needle. "Watch where you point that thing!"

"Stand still and it won't happen again."

.oOo.

Sora approaches the Wolf Residence with a skip in his step. He's rather excited as this is his first public date with his Ghoulfriend.

Just as the Normie is about to knock on the door, it's thrown open and a pair of large clawed hands drags him in.

The boy then finds himself thrown into a chair. Looking up, he finds a scary looking Clawd standing above him.

"Hey, Clawd," Sora awkwardly waves. "Look, about dating Howleen. I—" he then finds a bouquet of flowers in front of his face. "Uh…" was all that leaves his mouth as he accepts the flowers.

"They're Howleen's favorite," Clawd tells him.

"Thanks," the Normie looks up with a head tilt. "You're not mad about me dating your sister?"

"Don't get me wrong. I'm still upset. Especially at that," the Werewolf points at the easily visible scare on the Normie's neck. "But I know that you're a good guy, Sora. Just don't hurt my sister."

Sora just smiles. "Wouldn't dream of it."

"What are you talking about?" comes Howleen's voice.

They turn around as they Wolf sisters are descending the steps. Howleen kept her jacket but is now wearing a dark blue dress decorated in pink, yellow, and light blue pawprints. The youngest of the Wolf Sibling's has also ditch her hat in favor for her hair to be done up in a ponytail.

"Oh, nothing," Clawd pat Sora on the back, causing the Normie to falter a bit. "Just giving your date here the required Big Bro Talk."

Clawdeen smiles. "Well, don't go too hard on him, Clawd. Don't think Howleen would forgive you. Especially since she marked him," she briefly glances at the youngest to see her slouching a little.

"Noted," the Older Wolf Sibling, smiles. "Well, I better get going. I promised Draculaura that I'd go to he Maul with her," with that, Clawd leaves them.

Sora turns to Howleen and hands over the bouquet. "Here you go."

"Oh! Thanks, Sora," she sniffs them. "They're lovely."

"I'll find a good spot for those," Clawdeen tells her sister as she takes the bouquet. "Guess it's about time for you guys to leave as well?" she leads them to the door and opens it for them. "Oh! Before you go Howleen, mind if I barrow Sora for a moment?"

"Uh?" Howleen was pushed out the door and before she could say anything, the door was shut in her face.

The older Wolf Sister turns to glare at Sora, and he soon finds himself slammed against the wall. "Look, Sora, I like you. I owe you a lot after what you've done for all of us. Draculaura's Sweet Sixteen, Scaris, even the Eclipse. But if you break my baby sister's heart, then you'll find out exactly how roadkill feels. Got it!?" the normie could only nod at the warning before he's thrown out. "Okay, you two," the Fashion Ghoul waves with a smile as if she didn't threaten anyone's life. "Have fun. Just not too much fun." The door is then slammed shut.

.oOo.

The couple are now at a nice restaurant. Howleen was already uneasy for this date. But being in a nice place like this doesn't help calm her nerves.

Once the server showed them to their seats he handed them the menus. When Howleen opens her copy, the ghoul's eyes widen. "Woah! Uh, Sora. It's not that I don't like the idea of you treating me, but this place is rather expensive. I know that Bloodgood is wealthy, but I didn't know that she'd gave you this much."

Sora shrugs. "Bloodgood doesn't really give me much of an allowance. Especially after the incident at the Maul."

"Oh, I heard about that from my brother," the Werewolf flinches. "So, how are you able to afford all this then?"

"By doing what I do best," the boy answers with a smile.

At that, Howleen smirks. "Causing mass property damage."

The spiky haired kid flinches as he sets his menu down. "Okay, second best thing. During my travels, I learned to pick up odd jobs when I'm in need of quick munny. I just did the same around town."

"Why not just get a part-time job?"

"I actually tried once. But then some Heartless showed up and, well…"

"Mass property damage?"

Sora slumps at that. "Yeah." This causes the ghoul to giggle. Howleen had actually forgotten about her worries. That is, until a familiar voice reaches her ears.

"So, it's true," Gory walks up to their table with Bram arm in arm. "The two of you are actually dating?"

"Go easy on them, Gory," the blonde vampire tells his ghoulfriend. "Sora is pretty decent for a normie. Besides, we still owe him after what that Van Hellscream tried pulling."

"Okay. But I still have a question," the vampire ghoul turns to Sora. "What do you see in her? Howleen is so plain. She doesn't have the same sense of fashion as Clawdeen, no talent for writing in comparison to her other sister, and not very sporty like her brother. What could possibly be interesting about her? I bet she has no idea what she's going to do tomorrow, little alone after graduation."

Hearing all this, Howleen's ears droop. She could never live up to her siblings. The Wolf Ghoul perks back up when her boofriend speaks up.

"That's exactly what makes her interesting," Sora tells them. "All those things are how you'd describe her brother and sisters. Howleen is her own ghoul. She may not know who she is but that's what makes her who she is. It's part of her personality. And as for graduation," he gives off his goofy smile. "Not everyone plans that far ahead. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do after school. In case no one's noticed, I tend to live life day to day."

Gory gives a deadpanned stare at the Normie before turning to Howleen. "This one's a keeper." With that, the two vampires left.

Howleen stares at them with wide eyes as the two retreats. "I don't believe it," she turns to her did. "Did Gory give me a compliment?"

"I think so," Sora nods. "But what's wrong with that?"

"You don't understand. Gory Fangtell does not compliment anyone besides herself," the two share in a laugh as their server returns.

"Are the two of you ready?"

"Yeah," Howleen nods and turns back to her Boofriend. "I do believe we are."

End

NOTE: Howleen Part 2 was requested by Silverwolf. I had no plans for a sequel but after the prompt I started thinking what I could do for one.

NOTE 2: I'm going to be busy with work for a while and may not be able to write new entries for some time. I do have some pre-written chapters of a couple current stories and several chapters of some unpublished stories that mostly need some quick edits. Just will not have time for anything new of my current stories.
