The Strom

For the Sins and their allies, it felt like time had stopped for them. Not only did a Holy Knight get into the Boar Hat without them realizing it. Said knight kidnapped Elizabeth right in front of them.
Then out of nowhere Meliodas rushed over to where his sword was and grabbed it. He then turned to the door and rushed for it only for Lucy to block his path.
"Move Lucy!" Ordered Meliodas not in the mood.
"No, not until you calm down." Said Lucy as the look Meliodas was giving her made her sweat.
"They took Elizabeth!" Said Meliodas as he wasn't going to fail her again.
"I know that she's my best friend. But think about it Meliodas." Said Lucy causing Meliodas to stop a little.
"What do you mean?" Asked Veronica who was a bit in shock.
"They'll be ready for us. If we rush in with no plan who knows what will happen." Said Lucy as she hoped Meliodas would calm down. If it was Natsu, he'd probably have Happy flying him there right now.
"Ok." Said Meliodas as Lucy had a point.
"But what do we do?" Asked Diane worried for Elizabeth.
"The kingdom is about 40 miles away from here, so it will take some time." Said King.
"Not if Diane throws us." Said Meliodas as that made some of the others worried.
"She can't throw all of us." Stated Gowther as he was right. That was when Lucy remembered something.
"Open the gate of the lion, Loke!" Said Lucy as Loke appeared confusing the others.
"Hey princess, have you summoned me to whisk to you away?" Asked Loke as Veronica and Graimore were surprised how human Loke looked after seeing Taurus and Capricorn.
"No, I need you to form a temporary contract with Meliodas." Said Lucy confusing everyone.
"I appreciate the thought Lucy, but I should be fine on my own." Said Meliodas as he had doubts Loke could keep up with him.
"No, we're going to do a reverse summoning." Said Lucy confusing everyone.
"A reverse summoning?" Everyone said at the same time confused.
"Yeah, I discovered it when Natsu was fighting Virgo, back when she wasn't my spirt. The person who had her key summoned her while she was in my world. Natsu was holding onto her and was summoned to where we were." Explained Lucy as they understood what she meant now.
"What you are saying is if the captain here forms a temporary contract with Loke, he can use Loke to bring the rest of us over." Stated Gowther as Lucy nodded.
"Ok." Said Meliodas as it was the best way to bring the others over, but first he had to addresses something.
"I'm not going to lie; this will be a hard battle and some of us might not make it. If you don't want to come, speak up now." Said Meliodas as no one did. Hearing no one speaking up made Meliodas smile.
"Meliodas." Said Loke as he walked up to him and held out his key. "This will be a one-time summoning contract. Once you use it, I'll be Lucy's spirt again."
"I understand." Said Meliodas as he grabbed the key.
They then all went outside as Meliodas looked at Diane who nodded and stretched a bit.
"Hold on." Said Ban as he walked over and picked up Meliodas. "I'm coming with you."
"Ban!? This isn't the time to be playing around!" Said King as this wasn't the time for Ban to fool around.
"Are you sure?" Was all Meliodas asked as he trusted Ban.
"I have my reasons to go too." Said Ban as he needed to check something out.
Gowther watched this as he then walked over and wrapped his arms around Ban's back.
"What in the world are you doing Gowther?" Asked King confused.
"I'm going as well." Said Gowther as Diane picked them up.
"Can you, do it Diane?" Asked Lucy worried they might miss their target with the extra weight.
"I can get them there. Thought I might be a little bit off, okay." Said Diane as she's never done this before.
Both King and Griamore could only watch on in worry and disbelief as Diane was almost ready.
"Why do you have to come with us?" Ban asked Gowther a little annoyed.
"I wish to observe you and the captain, who are always fighting and learn." Answered Gowther confusing Ban even more.
"Learn what?" Asked Ban but got no answer.
"Bring Elizabeth back, okay." Said Diane as she was ready.
She took a few steps before throwing the three of them with all her might. The three soared through the air at incredible speeds. Speeds no normal man would survive.
"We're dead." Said Ban as the g-forces were getting to him.
"Did you say something?" Asked Meliodas ok.
"I cannot pick up the sound of your speech." Said Gowther.
Back with the others they watched as the three of them vanished from sight.
"So how does this reverse summoning work?" Asked Veronica curious.
"As long as we hold on tightly to Loke. That way when he gets summoned we'll go with him." Answered Lucy as everyone held onto Loke in some way.
That was when Lucy noticed something.
"Where's Hawk?" Lucy asked the others as no one could answer as they didn't know.

Kingdom of Liones, Old castle, several minutes earlier
Hendrickson stood at an open wall at the old castle in Liones. The very same castle where Zaratras had been killed and the Seven Deadly Sins were framed for it. The reason Hendrickson was there, was because Dreyfus had called him there.
"Hendrickson." Said Dreyfus as he approached him.
"Dreyfus." Said Hendrickson as he added. "May I ask why you called me here?"
Dreyfus looked at Hendrickson who looked uncaring before answering him. "What is your goal? Why are all the new generation Holy Knight under your command?"
Hearing that Hendrickson chuckled. "My goal, you ask?" Asked Hendrickson.
"It's the advent of the Holy war." Answered Hendrickson shocking Dreyfus.
"The advent of the Holy war? Hendrickson what are you saying!?" Asked Dreyfus confused.
"Dreyfus, your interpretation of the prophecy of the Holy war was that we Holy Knights are the 'guiding hand of light' and the 'bloodline of darkness' is the Seven Deadly Sins, correct?" Asked Hendrickson as he continued as he looked at the kingdom.
"However, I think differently. They are not enough. Of course, I do admit that the Seven Deadly Sins are indeed powerful. However, they are nowhere near the level of an existence that fought on equal or greater terms with four races in an ancient war."
Hearing that Dreyfus was shocked as pieces started to come together.
"The demon clan!" Said Dreyfus in shock as he then remembered a report about Lucy he read.
"That girl with the Sins. She was warning us about this!" Said Dreyfus in shock as he thought she was crazy.
"Yes, her warnings were getting annoying, but she is no longer a problem." Said Hendrickson as Dreyfus knew what that meant.
"I guessed that you were up to something, but for it to be this big. But do you really think…" Said Dreyfus only to be cut off by Hendrickson.
"The preparations are nearly complete." Hendrickson told him surprising Dreyfus.
"All that is left is to gather the last fragment and break the seal." Hendrickson continued making Drayfus furious.
"You… Are you serious!? Even if you were able to resurrect the demon clan, do you really think they're something humans can fight against?!" Asked Dreyfus furious as he started to match over to Hendrickson.
"Yes of course we can win. To ensure that I researched the demon clan for many years. I even got Tiffany, Merlin's greatest student, on my side and with her help my research has jumped ahead years and to places I'd never even thought of." Said Hendrickson as Dreyfus reached him.
"Open your eyes! Do you really think we Holy Knights, keepers of justice will be allowed to break the seal of a cursed clan!?" Asked Dreyfus as Hendrickson turned his head with a smirk.
"You, of all people are telling me about justice?" Asked Hendrickson with a deadpan look. "Someone who asked me to help you in a plot to kill your own brother Zaratras… in order to satisfy your lust for the position of the next great holy knight!"
Hearing that Dreyfus said nothing as Hendrickson turned around and placed a hand on Dryfus's shoulder.
"Dreyfus… I need you. I want you to lend me your strength." Said Hendrickson as he then added. "However, if you are to oppose me, just like your son Griamore, I'll have you dead."
And with that Hendrickson started to walk off, leaving a furious Dreyfus behind him.
"It is you who will be dead." Said Dreyfus as gritted his teeth, and his blood veins could be seen.
That was when both men stopped and looked outwards.
"It would seem the Sins are here." Said Hendrickson as he had to get ready.
Elsewhere in the kingdom just a few minutes before Elizabeth suddenly appeared in a cell.
"What?" Said Elizabeth as she looked around confused. "Where is this? I thought I was in the Boar Hat."
"Lord Meliodas, Lucy?!" Elizabeth called out hoping they'd answer.
"Welcome back to Liones…" Said a voice behind Elizabeth scaring her. Turning around Elizabeth saw it was the same Holy knight that took her.
"You… You're… so you're the one who took me here?!" Asked Elizabeth worried, but the Holy knight said nothing.
"Take me back to where the others…what?!" Said Elizabeth as the Holy Knight vanished.
Elizabeth looked around the cell and wondered how to get out of this cell. She put her hand on her side as she felt her whip there. That was when she heard a weird sound from within the cell, scaring her. Looking at the source she was shocked to see Hawk there sweating up a storm.
"Wait, it's you Hawk!?" Said Elizabeth shocked to see Hawk her with her. He must have been right next to her or something when the Holy Knight kidnapped her.
"Where… the hell us this!? I seriously can't… hold on any longer! It's coming! It's coming, it's coming!" Said Hawk between grunts as he continued to make weird noises.
"My pride as the show pig of the Boar Hat will not allow it! But!" Said Hawk as he then rushed the door.
"Super pork-lion illusion!" Cried Hawk as Elizabeth looked away.
Elizabeth then heard the crash as she looked at the door, as she was surprised that it was completely knocked over with a dent in the middle. She then heard some noises that she wished she didn't hear as Hawk took care of his business. Soon he came back a was fine.
"Mission complete!" Hawk said proudly as blood squirted up from his head.
"Hawk your bleeding!" Said Elizbeth in worry. That was she heard a door opening nearby as she and Hawk looked at the source.
"What was that sound just now?" Asked a guard as it was obvious, he was sleeping just now.
Elizabeth was about to use her whip on him, but Hawk beat her to it.
"Rolling Ham attack!" Cried Hawk as he attacked the guard and knocked him out.
Elizabeth looked at the downed guard and looked around. They were in an underground prison. Part of her wanted to look for her sister and father, but she doubted the enemy would be that stupid have them all in the same prison.
"This way Hawk." Said Elizabeth as she knew enough about the prison's layout to guess her way out. Though part of her was hoping Meliodas would appear at any second.
But what Elizabeth didn't know was Meliodas, Ban and Gowther were on their way. But the Holy Knights did. And as such they sent every available Holy Knight to the north gate.
With the Knights, they marched though the city the people were getting scared. Many were wondering what was happening, while others were scared a war was starting. But what those people didn't know how right they were.
As the Knights got there and were preparing for combat as they saw something in the sky.
"There!" Yelled one knight "They're coming."
Looking up the knights saw a ball of light rushing their way as it then crashed on the ground near them. The crash caused a huge cloud of dust to go every way, causing the knight to cover their faces while they got ready for whatever could be coming their way.
"Landing confirmed! Preparing to counter attack!" One knight yelled as they saw something move in the dust.
Then from the dust Meliodas and the others shot out as they ran towards the knights who got ready.
"Frist and foremost, our goal is the rescue of Elizabeth. So keep the fighting to a minimum!" Ordered Meliodas as wanted to get Elizabeth back and nothing else.
"Roger." Said Gowther.
"But within that minimum, you'll go all out right captain?" Asked Ban with his trademark grin.
"Like I'm going for the kill." Said Meliodas with a look that matched his words.
They reached the Holy Knights they unleashed their magic attacks on the Sins. That was their greatest mistake.
"Full Counter." Said Meliodas as he reflected all the attacks back to the Holy Knights taking them all out.
"So you are the Seven Deadly Sins! Worthy opponents indee…" Said a bulky Holy Knight only to be swatted to the side by Meliodas like he was nothing.
"Stop the Seven Deadly Sins!" Yelled done knight only to get punched by Ban as he ran by.
"They're not even slowing down! We can't stop them!" Yelled one knight in fear as nothing they did worked.
"Elizabeth! Wait for me. I'm coming for you!" Said Meliodas as he then stopped.
"Captain? Why are you stopping all of a…" Started Ban wondering why he stopped, when he felt it too.
The reason being was all three of them sensed a powerful magic coming from in front of them. Or to be more accurate on the other side of the kingdom. This made the three of them wonder what it was, as they weren't the only ones to sense it.
But they didn't have time to think as another wave of Holy knights were charging at them. And they learnt their lesson from the first wave and have stopped using their magic. But that in itself was also a mistake as they couldn't compete with the Sins strength.
"Do you really think you can win without powers? Dumbasses." Said Ban as he elbowed a knight on the head knocking hm out. "Well, I guess it make no difference."
"But whose crazy power was it that appeared on the other side of the kingdom?" Asked Ban curious.
"The concern is whether it is an ally or foe." Stated Gowther as they could use an ally or two right now.
"It doesn't matter." Said Meliodas. "Rescue Elizabeth, and get the sword back, that's all there is to it!"
"But they just keep coming." Said Ban more annoyed than anything.
"Looks like we have to defeat every single on of them after all." Said Meliodas as that would take too long.
"Let us go about this efficiently." Said Gowther as he walked before Ban and Meliodas.
"Sacred treasure twin-bow Herritt" Said Gowther as two energy bows appeared in hands as this was his sacred treasure.
"His sacred treasure!?" Said Meliodas as he forgot about it.
"Where's he been keeping it all this time?" Asked Ban curious.
Gowther took aim at the approaching knights as he fired.
"Rewrite Light." Said Gowther as hundreds of light arrows shot out of the bows and hit the knights. But when the arrows hit the knights, nothing happened. The Knights were confused for a second before rushing at them again.
"Hey Gowther! It didn't work at all!" Yelled Ban annoyed.
Then the knights were upon them. But instead of attacking them, they treated them like brothers, friends, and even lovers. This confused both Ban and Meliodas as they weren't expecting this.
"Gowther… what is…" Started Meliodas confused as Gowther cut him off.
"To the Holy Knights we are family, friends or lovers that they've just been reunited with." Explained Gowther as he cleaned his glasses.
"So, you rewrote their memoires?" Asked Meliodas curious.
"It only has a superficial effect. Once they realize the inconsistencies in their memories, they will return to normal. Furthermore, the memoires created while they are being affected by this technique will be erased." Gowther further explained.
"You go to be kidding me." Said Ban as he had several knights on him.
"Don't ever use it against us, no matter what!" Yelled Ban and Melodies at the same time.
"Understood." Said Gowther.
But thanks to Gowther's technique the three were able to get inside the kingdom no problem. And when the technique wore off the knights were none the wiser.
Elsewhere both Hendrickson and Dreyfus stopped as they sensed the magic the Sins sensed as well.
"I feel great power coming from the south gate. Could this be that the Sins are splitting up and trying for a two-pronged attack?" Asked Dreyfus as it made some sense to him.
"No, the number of powers is far more than just one or two hundred. And there are two powers incomparably greater than the rest. Who are they?" Said Hendrickson as he was curious.
"Lord great Holy Knight! It… It's an emergency! From the direction of the southern gate..." Yelled a random solider as he ran towards the two, gaining the two's attention.
"A massive army is approaching!" Finished the solider shocking the two.
"An… army?! Of what nation?" Asked Dreyfus as this was the last thing they needed right now.
"Who is their commander?" Asked Hendrickson curious.
"Sir! It's the new king of Camelot, Arthur!" Said the Soldier shocking the two.
"King Arthur of Camelot. Whether it was divine will or whim of God, a sword suddenly appeared, stuck in an enormous boulder. However, no Holy Knight could pull it out. And he is the young king who pulled it out." Dreyfus said to himself out loud, going over what they knew about the young king.
"But why did someone like that come to Liones with an army?" Asked Dreyfus confused.
"Wha…what shall we do?" Asked the soldier confused and scared.
"There is no other choice." Said Hendrickson "I will meet him. Take me to king Arthur or whoever he is. Dreyfus, you take care of the Seven Deadly Sins."
Hearing that the two men shared a look as neither trusted the other. But they both knew that in this situation they had to put their personal feeling to the side, for now.
"Very well." Was all Dreyfus said as the two parted ways.
Elsewhere Meliodas and the others had entered the city. When they did, they found a quite abandoned area, that would hold Diane. Meliodas then brought out Loke's key.
"Open the gate of the lion, Loke!" Said Meliodas as he felt the magic needed for the key to work. He was actually surprised by how much was needed, as his respect for Lucy's magic increased.
Then in a flash of light Loke and the others appeared.
"Wow." Was all King could say as he never experienced anything like that before.
"Is everyone ok?" Asked Meliodas curious.
"Yeah." Said Lucy as the others nodded their heads.
"Good. Hears the plan. Me and the other Sins will head out and distract the Holy Knights as best as we can. While we do that Graimore you take Veronica and Lucy and find Elizabeth and if you can Margaret." Instructed Meliodas as everyone agreed.
"Remember the Holy Knights are watching over Margaret with some sort of creature. So if we see anything that doesn't belong there that will be it." Said Lucy as she remembered what they learnt from Gemini.
"But what about my father?" Asked Veronica as it was a good question.
"He's mostly like under more heavy watch then either of your sister's princess." Said Graimore as that what he would do.
Hearing that Veronica sighed as it was most likely true and relented.
"Once you get them somehow signal us and we'll regroup here and get out the way we came in." Meliodas told them as Lucy and Loke looked Nervous.
"Um Meliodas, this was a one-way transport." Said Lucy as everyone looked at her.
"What do you mean?" Asked King confused.
"We got here because Meliodas summoned Loke here while we were holding onto him. To get back to the Boar Hat, I would need to be there and summon Loke back there." Explained Lucy as it was so simple, they didn't realize it.
"We'll figure out how to get out later." Said Meliodas as he then added. "One more then we sensed some powerful magic on the other side of the Kingdom. We don't know who or what it is, so be on your guard."
Hearing this everyone nodded as the Sins split up, while Graimore lead Lucy and Veronica towards the dungeons he believed the princesses could be in.
At the same time Hendrickson and a handful of Holy Knights were reaching the gate where Arthur and his army were. As Hendrickson walked his mind was trying to figure out what was going on.
'This doesn't make any sense. Camelot is a new rising power that just started gathering strength in the past few years, so their military cannot compare to that of Liones. However, I sense several thousand presences from outside the castle. And they have the strength of Holy Knights. Not even Liones has a thousand of them.' Thought Hendrickson as things didn't make sense.
Their information on Camelot was limited due to it being new. Though Hendrickson did wonder if any of the Sins had something to do with this. But as far as he knew six of the seven of them were accounted for. And he doubted Escanor had something to do with this.
Soon he reached the gate as he mentally prepared himself for anything. He heard a guard yell that the gate was opening as the door before him opened.
When the door opened enough, he saw the army of Camelot before him. But up front were two people. The first one wore a cloak that covered their whole body. When Hendrickson tried to look inside, he just saw darkness.
The next one was riding a white amour horse. The person on the horse wore gold armour with his shoulder plates sticking out. The person wore a gold helmet with horns coming out the side and curved forward and upwards. There was also a third horn coming out the centre and pointing up. Around his shoulder he wore a white cape. Finally on the knight's waist was a sword.
Seeing this Hendrickson assumed the knight on the horse was Arthur and approached him.
"I am one of the great Holy Knights of the kingdom of Liones, Hendrickson. I have been informed that you are king of a southern kingdom. However, are you forgetting common courtesy by arriving without even sending a messenger?" Asked Hendrickson as he kept his voice neutral.
"I do apologize for my rudeness. I had some business to attend to in the area and wanted to stop here on the way." Said Arthur in an apologetic voice.
Hendrickson looked past Arthur at army behind him before looking at Arthur.
"While leading an army?" Questioned Hendrickson wondering what his goal was.
"I didn't think I would be granted an audience without doing something like this." Said Arthur calmly.
"What?" Was all Hendrickson could say confused.
The hooded figure then bought out a hand and snapped their fingers as the whole army vanished. But then Hendrickson saw two people there.
The first was a woman with long light Cyan hair that went to her back. Her amour wasn't anything special as she watched the Holy knight of Liones.
The next was a large man. He was so big that he didn't even wear proper armour, just some plating here and there. On his head he wore what looked like a Viking helmet. He was smiling at the Holy Knights before him, but Hendrickson knew he was challenging them to try something.
"The army!" One Knight with Hendrickson said.
"It…it disappeared in an instant." Another said.
"You got us on this one." Admitted Hendrickson as it was a good ploy as he looked at the hooded figure.
'Who is this? Are you telling me that, that huge army and their powers were all illusions!?' Thought Hendrickson in disbelief as he wounder who this was.
"I am the king of Camelot, Arthur pendragon. I am indebted to the king of Liones and came here to repay him. Please grant me an audience with the king. Of course, my colleagues can stay outside, but they refuse to be far away." Said Arthur as Hendrickson looked at the two knight whose eyes said they weren't going to be far from Arthur.
'With the king? How troublesome.' Thought Hendrickson as these four weren't going to make life easy for him.
"Unfortunately, the king has suddenly fallen ill, and is resting. I'm afraid I will have to ask you to leave for today." Said Hendrickson as he had his hands full already.
"Then all the more reason not to leave." Said Arthur confusing Hendrickson.
"This person can cure the king of his sickness. Please take us to the king!" Said Arthur as Hendrickson surprised to hear this.
"We appreciate your kindness, but the kingdoms finest mage, who was trained by Merlin herself has it covered." Said Hendrickson as what he said was true.
'This isn't the time to be meddling with some brat!' Thought Hendrickson as he wanted to get rid of Arthur and his party.
"Please, leave." Said Hendrickson as his patience was wearing thin.
"I see." Said Arthur as he took off his helmet revealing his short, but wild looking amber hair and violet eyes.
"That won't do!" Said Arthur with a grin.
"Why you!" Growled one of the knights on Hendrickson side only for Hendrickson to stop him.
"I beg your pardon?" Hendrickson asked Arthur curious.
"Sir Hendrickson it seems that you have some matter on your hands that is forcing you to deny entry to any outsiders. Then we shall lend a hand in solving that problem!" Said Arthur as Hendrickson thought about it.
Hendrickson thought about it as the Sins were powerful and he was sure the new generation could handle them, but it never hurt to have a backup just in case.
"Very well." Said Hendrickson as Arthur just grinned.
And the Sins have stormed the Kingdom of Liones to save Elizabeth. And at the same time King Arthur has entered the story. Can anyone guess the two who accompanied him? I'll give you a hint they aren't OC characters.
The next chapter is going to be filled with action, so those who felt it was lacking in this one get ready.
