I am thankful this story is back...I said I would bring it back. And I still know how this story will go and I promise I will finish it, just bear with me.

Kagami was relieved that today seemed like a mundane and quiet day. While everyone at school was excited for some sort of superhero appreciation day, Kagami found solace in the art room.
But Kagami found herself drifting off and drawing her own favorite superhero. She gasped and took a good look at her drawing, where she noticed it was a bit detailed, maybe too detailed.
Chat Noir had a strong chest and muscular arms, and his smile and pale green eyes glowed while sparkles formed around him.
Kagami didn't notice the art room door open since she was the only one there.
"Hey Kagami!"
She heard the familiar sweet voice of a handsome young man.
"What do you got there?" Adrien asked.
Kagami turned and saw Adrien smiling behind her. His eyes were soft, and his smile was warm; Kagami couldn't help but blush a light shade of pink.
"Wow! That painting is really nice!" Adrien said with enthusiasm in his voice.
"Oh!" Kagami gaped, blushing even more from the compliment. "It's a bit embarrassing!" She did feel she made Chat Noir a bit too "hunky."
Adrien took a moment to sit beside Kagami and look at the painting.
"I had no idea you were such a big fan of Chat Noir," Adrien said.
Adrien took a moment to rest his arm on the table and give her a cheeky smile. "It almost makes me jealous."
"Oh!" Kagami cried, a bit flustered as she placed her painting down. "He's just really strong and brave."
Adrien lifted his head up and smiled at Kagami. Even though Adrien wasn't in his Chat Noir form, it was like his black cat ears were perking up.
"Well, you could show your appreciation for him downstairs. Everyone is voting in the best superhero poll," Adrien said.
Kagami had to admit to herself this seemed a bit sophomoric.
"Well," Kagami started. "Chat Noir and the other heroes are superheroes, not celebrities."
Adrien thought for a moment. "True, but a little hero appreciation never hurts."
Adrien got out of the seat, and Kagami couldn't help but get up as well and maybe humor the idea. The two of them paused, and Adrien smiled before offering his hand to Kagami. But Kagami had to take a moment to process as her heart beat fast.
She wondered if she should take his hand after spending time with Chat Noir, but against all logic, she took Adrien's hand. A hand soft and strong.
The two of them walked out of the art room together.
"I want to show appreciation to a special hero as well," Adrien said.
"You do?" Kagami said. "Which one?"
Adrien couldn't help but smile, and he also had a light blush on his cheeks. "Oh, just a hero who could use a bit more appreciation."
Kagami pursed her lips but kept holding Adrien's hand as they walked down the hall together.
There was a lot of commotion downstairs, and Adrien and Kagami were nearly held up at the staircase. Everyone was placing their votes for each of Paris' superheroes while Alya and Nino were busy building up the bar diagram with colored papers.
As Kagami and Adrien passed the eager students, Kagami noticed that Ladybug had the most votes. While Chat Noir was the second most popular superhero, he had less than half of Ladybug's.
"Slow down everyone. This isn't the final score yet," Alya said as she took more votes. Then Alya turned to smile at Adrien and Kagami.
"Hey, you two!" Alya said. "Don't forget to place your votes as well."
"Use those papers to cast your votes!" Nino said as he directed them to the table.
Adrien took a moment to grab papers and markers for him and Kagami.
Kagami smiled and admitted defeat as she took a paper and marker from Adrien and wrote Chat Noir's name in cursive with the black marker.
She did admire the rambunctious cat boy, after all.
As Adrien wrote down his hero ballot on a paper, he glanced at the wall.
"Hm, Ryuuko doesn't have many votes," Adrien said.
Kagami noticed; she didn't mind though; she was an on-call superhero, after all.
Adrien took a moment to show Kagami his ballot. "I hope she will appreciate this then."
Kagami was absolutely stunned. Adrien wrote Ryuuko's name in cursive.
"Are you sure Adrien?" Kagami asked.
Adrien smirked. "She is really strong and honorable and smells as sweet as a rose."
Kagami had to hide her blush so she wouldn't reveal herself, but her heart was beating fast again.
"I would love to see her again," Adrien said.
Kagami could not take it. She did not know Adrien admired Ryuuko so much. She figured Adrien's favorite superhero was Ladybug. She was practically Paris' sweetheart!
"Ready to vote you two?" Alya asked.
Adrien folded his ballot, and then Kagami pulled herself together to do the same. They handed their ballots to Alya, and Alya unfolded them.
"One for Chat Noir and another for Ryuuko!" Alya cried.
"Coming right up!" Nino said as he added to the bar diagram.
Adrien and Kagami both felt elated and then they had to escape from the army of high school students who came in to cast their votes. Still, Alya and Nino were ready for the masses, while Kagami and Adrien were ready to escape the crowd together. They may have had to flee the masses shoulder to shoulder, but it was comfortable for them, and then they could lean against the lockers and laugh together.
But then Kagami heard a familiar bothersome notification on her phone for an Akuma alert. Her heart nearly leaped out of her chest, and Adrien surprisingly had his guard up as he looked around the school and checked his phone.
Kagami was about to grab his arm and take him to safety, but Adrien turned and gave her a serious look.
"I'll be right back Kagami!"
Kagami gasped. "But Adrien!"
Adrien stubbornly ran through the hallway, causing others to turn their heads as he ran by.
"I promise I'll be right back!"
Kagami clenched her fist against her chest before she stubbornly tried to run after him. Still, when she reached out, he disappeared in the bright sunlight through the opened doors. Then Kagami felt a crash that caused the earth to shake, and she instinctively ran into the other hallway as far as she could. When she got into a darker hallway, she leaned against a locker and shivered before sinking down and curling into a ball.
She felt so hopeless, so powerless.
But then she felt a familiar magical presence and snapped out of it.
"Kagami-Sama!"
Kagami gasped. "Long-Sama!"
She felt such a rush of joy as if she were dreaming when she saw the dragon Kwami floating toward her.
"It's wonderful to see you again Kagami-Sama!" The little dragon kwami looked up at her with the most adorable eyes.
But Kagami felt another tremor and quickly grabbed Long and safely held him close to her.
"But what are you doing here Long-Sama?" Kagami cried.
The little kwami chuckled, and Kagami wondered why the wise little kwami could be so jovial at this time.
"I came to you because Ladybug and Chat Noir could use the dragon girl who can control the elements for help. Such a dragon girl who is very compatible with the black cat. The dragon gives the black cat good luck!"
Kagami couldn't help but blush at the idea. Her fighting alongside Chat Noir again?
"Could I truly?" Kagami said. "I could stand by Chat Noir and even be as strong as Ladybug?"
Long smiled down at the young Japanese girl even if she was full of doubt and floated toward her, giving her a reassuring smile. "You have a special connection with the black cat, and a girl like yourself can't possibly imagine the power you hold."
Kagami was about to cry happy tears at that thought. She took a moment to breathe and managed to smile as she held out a hand for her eager kwami.
"Ok Long-Sama, transform me!"
As Long's power enveloped Kagami in a warm glow, Kagami smiled as if it weren't just her physical form transforming. She felt lighter and freer as dragon girl Ryuko, and she appeared from the hallway feeling confident. Some hiding students watched in awe as Ryuuko flew out the window.
Long guided her as she flew around Paris searching for Ladybug and Chat Noir. And there was a fierce group of Akuma menace causing havoc in Paris. Some mean-looking Akumas were tormenting and hurting Chat Noir, and they managed to knock him down, but he still tried to defend himself with his staff.
Ryuko wouldn't have this, and she demanded the Akumas leave him alone. She appeared from thin air, guarding the handsome black cat.
"Ryuuko!" Chat Noir cried in awe.
The black cat felt his heart skip a beat. He felt so lucky that the beautiful Kagami was also the beautiful Ryuuko-sama. It was amazing to see the reserved Kagami come into her own as a hero. He just thought it was lousy he couldn't talk to her about it.
Ryuuko effortlessly turned her head to smile at Chat Noir as she shielded him, and Chat Noir responded with a toothy grin.
"It's great to see you again, Chat Noir."
"Likewise," Chat Noir said as he picked himself up. But Ryuuko was slightly knocked back from the Akuma attack, and Chat Noir caught her in his arms before she fell down.
Ryuuko went wide-eyed, being in Chat Noir's strong arms, and Chat Noir felt fuzzy inside, holding Ryuuko's slender frame. But while they were distracted, Ladybug dropped in.
"Thank you for helping us Ryuuko!" Ladybug said with a grin.
"Oh! No problem M'Lady,"
Before Chat Noir and Ryuuko could relax, Ladybug swung her yo-yo like a lasso. "Look alive, you two!"
The Ladyboss tied up multiple shadow figures with her magical yo-yo, and they were dispelled because of Ladybug's powers. Ryuuko was able to understand the enemy and study it. Chat Noir summoned his black staff and guarded Ryuuko, but Ryuuko moved to Chat Noir's ear.
"Chat Noir, I will be the wind at your back," she whispered.
Chat Noir grinned and took a moment to take her hand. "Ok Ryuuko follow me!"
Ryuuko turned into wind, and Chat Noir felt confident enough to go forth and attack all the shadow creatures. Each time, Ryuuko stunned the creatures with gusts of wind they could not detect, and Chat Noir dispelled them with each swing of his staff. Ladybug was busy attacking the others with her yo-yo. Still, she couldn't help but stop and stare at Chat Noir and Ryuuko sweeping the floor with the enemy. When everything was finally clear, she couldn't help but clap.
"Good job you two!" Ladybug cheered.
Ryuuko transformed back to normal, and she and Chat Noir smiled at Ladybug and then at each other. But before Ladybug could relax, she noticed more shadowy creatures surrounding them and was about to panic.
"Oh no! There's more!" Ladybug cried.
Chat Noir once again tried to shield Ryuuko, but Ryuuko stepped in front of Chat Noir.
"I think I should unleash waves, Chat Noir; I can stop this."
Chat Noir blinked his peridot green eyes. "Ryuuko…"
Ryuuko started to glow blue, and Chat Noir nearly fell over, feeling her strong powers. She turned into a powerful body of water and then into a swift wave that started to wash away the malicious shadows. Chat Noir had to purposely use his hand to clamp his mouth shut, but then he summoned his staff again and ran after her. "Ryuuko!"
Ryuuko just wanted to let Chat Noir be safe while she took care of the Akuma menace. But she saw the look in Chat Noir's beautiful green eyes, and she knew what he was thinking. Ryuuko commanded the waves for Chat Noir, and he jumped on top of the waves and started surfing.
It was a strange feeling at first, but once Chat Noir got the hang of it, he was having the time of his life, and Ryuuko made sure he was steady. Chat Noir surfed and hit the shadowy creatures with his staff with reckless abandon. They kept going until Ryuuko told Chat Noir she would finish the last few with one last wave.
Before Chat Noir knew it, Ryuuko unleashed her power, and he was washed away but landed safely on the ground as he saw the giant wave wipe out the rest of the Akumas. He sighed in relief as he lay down, and the warm sunlight dried him off.
Ryuuko changed from water to her normal form and laid down next to Chat Noir, and Chat Noir quickly turned over to smile at her.
"Arigatou Ryuuko!"
Ryuuko blinked a few times before blushing and giggling. "It was my pleasure Chat Noir."
They almost didn't notice Ladybug running over to them.
"Great job you two!" Ladybug said.
Chat Noir and Ryuuko sat up and looked at Ladybug, who was checking her compact. "I am sure Paris is safe now. I will get the magic ladybugs to clear up any lingering darkness."
Chat Noir offered Ryuuko his hand, and she took it; they helped each other up, and Chat Noir couldn't bring himself to let go of her hand.
"You did amazing Ryuuko! We couldn't have done this without you!"
And Chat Noir was even more taken aback by Ryuuko sneak attacking him with a hug. Chat Noir grinned and wrapped his arms around her back as she sneakily nuzzled her face against his broad chest for a moment. But then Ryuuko heard her necklace beep.
Ryuuko quickly pulled away and placed her hand on her necklace.
But against Chat Noir's better judgment, he took her hand, but Ryuuko gave him a sorrowful look.
"I need to go now," Ryuuko said.
Ryuuko looked into his deep peridot eyes one last time before she faded away with the wind. She quickly flew back to the school and transformed out of her superhero form while hidden.
Kagami couldn't help but yearn for another adventure after that. Still, she also couldn't help but hug Long-Sama before he bid Kagami au revoir. Kagami waved as the dragon kwami flew away, and she sat down under a shady tree with a dreamy sigh.
Meanwhile, Ladybug was looking at a not-so-subtle lovestruck Chat Noir.
She couldn't help but laugh, and Chat Noir tried to rid himself of his embarrassing blush.
"Looks like you are really into her!" Ladybug teased.
Chat Noir gave the ladyboss a quick "hmph!" and crossed his arms. "I just appreciate a nice lady when I see one!"
"You are practically stuck by Cupid's arrow!" Ladybug teased again.
Chat Noir sat down with his legs crossed and traced hearts on the cobblestones.
"Maybe a little…" Chat Noir mumbled.
Ladybug couldn't stop laughing, Chat Noir would've been pissed with her, but it was getting harder and harder to deny something like this.
"I know because I am not just the Ladybug! I am also the Lovebug!"
Chat Noir chuckled slightly in return. "Yeah, that's why you and Viperion keep running circles around each other!"
But for Ladybug, she didn't hold back being pissed at Chat Noir for that. It was worth it. If Ladybug was going to tease him about his love rival, he would certainly tease her about her love rival.
