Today the high school students were taken straight to the Orcus Dungeon.
"What the fuck" Edi said, looking at the entrance on the so call Dungeon.
"I wasn't expecting this," Hajime said as well. Roiyaru looks around the place, when you go to a dungeon you expect a gloomy old place, with warning signs and bar like cages to keep fools out. Really this dungeon entrance is the gateway for an army of monsters invading the city.
But no, the entrance to the dungeon looked like the entrance to a museum, hell; it even had a reception desk for it. The person there was checking people's Status Plates before they entered the dungeon.
"This is the entrance?" Edi asked, looking at the place.
"Yes Edi, this is the entrance to the Orcus Dungeon" Roiyaru stated, annoying Edi.
"I know you jackass, I mean why is it an entrance to a hotel or those fancy gyms, they have fucken receptionists here" Edi points at the reception deck, they look scared to be pointed at.
"I'm not a donkey, The building placement is very good, an inviting atmosphere to welcome guests, with the reception desk place close enough to the main entrance but not enough to block any one" Roi pointed out a few building details.
"He means why make it like this Roi" Hajime asked him, making Roiyaru stop his building talk as he looks at Hajime.
"This place is for adventurers to level up, the real battle is for the so-called demon army" Roiyara explains to him.
The dungeon or the "Great Labyrinths' ' are seven special dungeons, which are scattered around the world of Tortus.
The Pope said to be extremely dangerous, it was said that the Labyrinths were created by the "mavericks" creative name, anyway they were rebels that tried to bring about the end of the world, but God Lord Shit put a stop to their plans and the mavericks were forced to flee and exile themselves inside the Great Labyrinths.
Or so the religion the Pope Ishtar says, not that the only ones with some sense believe him, religion tends to change history to make it more favourable to said religion.
The Great Orcus Labyrinth is located in the town of Horaud under the rule of the Heiligh Kingdom. It is one of the most easily accessible of the Labyrinths out there. It's commonly used by all kinds of people in order to either farm for materials or as a training ground in order to level up.
"Good morning, Hajime!" Kaori cheerfully great Hajime,
"Morning Kaori" Hajime said, as Kaori meets the other two.
"Good morning Edi, Roi," Kaori greeted, with a slight wave from Edi.
"Hey" Edi said,
"Greetings to you Kaori," Roi said politely to her.
"Are you ready for the dungeon?" Kaori asked them,
"Of course we are," Hajime said, not really wanting to, but Meld wanted everyone to experience monster fighting once.
"Yeah, forced to go on another class field trip without our parents' consent form" Edi said, remembering not going to his parents when field trips are a thing.
"You have forced me to write your parents' signage more than once" Hajime said, with Edi shrugging.
"Don't know why I couldn't just write it myself" Edi said, Hajime shakes his head.
"Our sensei knows your handwriting Edi, it will only waste your time" Roi said to him, as Edi grunts in response.
"Well good thing you don't need a permission slip here" Kaori said, trying to be cheerful.
"Our parents should be informed of our wellbeing," Roi said to them, which got the three to look down, missing their parents.
"Then we will work together and get home soon," Kaori said with determination as Hajime and Edi looked at her with a shrug.
"Yeah why not" Hajime said with Edi nodding as they make their way to Meld and the others.
"I'm not going to the dungeon" Roi states, stopping them, getting the attention of Meld and the other students.
"What?" Hajime, Edi and Kaori said to him.
"Wait, Roiyaru, why won't you come with us?" Kouki asks the builder, getting everyone to look at him.
"I wish to look into the foundations of his dungeon, and fortify the main entrance if monsters attack," Roi explains to them, he wants to learn more about the dungeon' main entrance.
"There is nothing to worry about Praetorian, the main entrance is strong enough to hold off any monsters before we come in to finish it off" Meld explains to him, the gate holds off monsters long enough for the guards and adventurers to finish them off.
"All the same, I wish to learn whatever I can here," Roiyara said, not backing down from this as he looked at the place.
"But we could use your power Roiyara" Ryutarou said to him, his power can rival some of the hero like students.
"Leave him be, guys, he knows what to do" Hajime said, supporting his friend.
"But Hajime, we could use his help," Shizuka said, as Edi signed.
"Leave the big guy on it, he likes looking at buildings while pointing out its flaws, probably add a gift shop or something" Edi said to him, seeing all the stuff at this entrance, why not add a goddamn gift shop.
"A store would be useful to add, getting income for this place would help in the long run, getting more employees here and guards will be an improvement" Roi taking Edi sarcasm seriously as everyone groans.
Meld began by separating the class into groups due to the hazardous dungeon, first was Kouki, Shizuku, Kaori and Ryutaro.
The so-called hero students, Roiyara would have joined the first group; they would head in first to take the blunt of the dungeon.
Edi and Hajime were in the last group and at the back of the group, since everyone thought Hajime was weak they didn't want to party with him and Edi could only support, which got a middle finger in response.
Anyway the dungeon in the early floors are too weak since whenever Kouki swings his dick around it kills them instantly, yes Edi is calling Kouki's sword a dick, cause it is the only action the so called hero is ever going to get.
They went further down into the dungeon and nothing was able to really give the class much of a challenge, Edi contributions to the party boiled down to using Bardic Inspiration in support of the others' powers and recovery where it was needed most. Meld gave him an approving look for using his abilities like that.
"Next, Hajime and Edi" Meld calls out, yeah Meld giving each student a weak monster to kill, get their experience up and everything.
Hajime stood up to some kind of inbred dog-like monster with nothing but a knife, so naturally Hajime was nervous about killing a monster with a knife.
"How about it? The others have weakened it so you can finish it off. I'm aware your class isn't a combat one, but you still need to know how to defend yourself" Meld said to Hajime, which didn't help much.
Edi on the other hand had no issue against his inbred dog monster, Will Hajime brought a knife Edi brought an axe, why an axe and not a sword.
"Because it's a badass motherfucker" Edi shouted, playing a few notes on his guitar to cast Vicious Mockery.

Edi sings as the dog thing attacks, rushing at Edi as he readies his axe, the dog tries to jump him but Edi swings his axe at its head.
"DECAPITATIONS '' Edi shouts, cutting the dog's head off.
Hajime looks at his dog monster, approaching the near dead monster and crouches on his knee to look at it.
"While it looks weak, it doesn't mean it's dead, but just to be safe" Hajime said thinking of a plan, putting one hand on the monster's head and the other holding the knife.
"Transmute" Hajime casted on the monster, its movement stops when it freezes on the ground and Hajime stabs the monster to death while it remains immobile on the ground.
"That's interesting," Meld said looking at Hajime, seeing him use a strategy the knight has never seen before.
"Using transmute to freeze the foe for the kill, I didn't think Synergist had the abilities that can be used in combat" Meld thought to himself, thinking about the class and the student using it.
Hajime looks farther down the line to see Kaori watching him, see their eyes meet and she starts waving at him. Last night Kaori made a promise to protect him, which embarrassed Hajime a bit after realising she was watching him the whole time.
Kaori pouted seeing Hajime looking away when she watched him. Shizuku chuckled watching the exchange out of the corner of her eyes.
"Kaori, why do you keep staring at Nagumo? Don't you know it's wrong to pick up guys in a dungeon? '' Shizuka said softly in a teasing manner, making Kaori blush and turn to glare at Shizuka.
"Hey, come on Shizuka! Could you please not say strange things like that! I only checking if Nagumo okay" Kaori said to her,
"That's picking up a guy" Shizuka thought to herself, not saying it otherwise it will make Kaori sulk.
"What about you! I saw you signing whenever someone mentions Roi" Kaori accused her, which caught Shizuka off guard, but doesn't let it affect her outwards.
"I'm only saying Roi should be down here as well," Shizuka said to her, not looking at her.
"Why is Kaori looking at you again?" Edi asked him, seeing Hajime look embarrassed.
"Kaori promised to protect me," Hajime said to him, as Edi chuckled.
"Mhhmhh she into you man" Edi said, patting Hajime back.
"Stop it, it is embarrassing having the healer protect you" Hajime said to him.
"A pretty girl wants to cover you, how is that a bad thing?" Edi asks Hajime as he looks away with a blush.
Later they reach the 20th floor or so Meld explains, honestly their no number or anything that says what floor there is. Anyway they meet up with magic monsters on the path to the 21st floor stairs.
"Myriad of Soaring Wings, Reach the Heavens, Heavenly Swing!" Kouki swinging his dick forward sends a slash of light, killing the magic monster in the way.
"You idiot stop" Meld tries to stop him, but our hero doesn't pay attention to the guy in charge.
"Show off" Edi calls him out on it.
When Kouki overreacts to something so minor, he clicks his tongue in annoyance. He doesn't need to destroy everything just because the girls look annoyed while their monsters are fighting monsters.
"There's goes to the last monster, owww" Kouki gets smacked in the face by Meld.
"You fool, while I understand how you feel, you shouldn't use a skill like that in a tunnel! You could cause it to collapse on us" Meld rebukes him, the so-called hero lowering his head.
"I'm sorry" Kouki said to him, lowering his head, the girls all trying to comfort him.
"Oh come on, let the bitch cry it out" Edi calls him out to Kouki and the girls, then the wall collapses, something shiny got Kaori's attention.
"What?" Kaori said, everyone looks up, noticing minerals that emanated light on the wall at what Kaori points at. The girls look at the crystal with delighted looks.
"A shiny rock?" Edi asks, all he sees is a pretty rock.
"You're not wrong, that a Grantz Crystal, and a big one at that, it rare but it doesn't have any unique properties, but it shines beautifully, popular among nobles" Meld explains the rock to the class while looking at the dead monster turning to dust.
"That's the last one for today, everyone, time to head back" Meld called out, as Kaori stared at the stone.
"How lovely" Kaori said with a blush, hearing Meld's explanations and now more entranced by the rock, she took a quick look at Hajime, quick enough for only Shizuka, Edi and one other person to catch her glance at Hajime.
"In that case, I'll go get it" Daisuke said, running forward to climb up the crumble wall to get the shiny rock, with Meld trying to stop him.
"Hey, don't run off! We're not even safe yet" Meld calls out but Daisuke doesn't listen.
"She not going to fuck you Daisuke, getting a pretty rock won't get you any cheek" Edi calls out to him, seeing the point of this, as Daisuke grits his teeth with the boys and girls looking put off.
Meld chased after Daisuke just as he reached the rock.
"Calm down, it's not even that high," Daisuke said, climbing despite the warning.
"That's not it! Get down this instant!" Meld warns him.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. It's just a stone." Daisuke scoffed.
"I told you all before that this dungeon could have dangerous traps in it!" Meld reminded me.
"Tch, noisy old coward," Daisuke said as he grabbed the crystal.
"See, easy peasy." Daisuke brags while holding the stone.
"You're never getting any cheek mate" Edi calls out, Daisuke would be pissed, but the rock sparked with black electricity.
Suddenly a magic circle similar to the one that summoned the class to the world appeared underneath their feet.
"IT'S A TRAP!" Meld shouted at the top of his lungs. "LET GO OF THE STONE RIGHT NOW!"
In a flash of white light, they were all transported to a huge stone bridge. A black magic circle appeared in the middle of the bridge.
A large beast ripped itself out of the black circle. It towered over all of them, it was a purple, canine-esque creature with bull-like horns and a flowing mane.
Behind them, another black magic circle appeared, out of it came many skeletal warriors that wouldn't be out of place in a Dark Souls game.
"Oh fuck you Daisuke, hope that rock was worth getting you balls ripped off!" Edi yelled at him, as Meld looks at the fuck off monster with a blank look.
"Everyone turn around and go" Meld said to them, Edi agrees.
"Absolutely, dark soul bosses we run the fuck away" Edi turns around, but Kouki tries to say otherwise.
"Wait, we can fight too" Kouki protested, but Meld was having none of it.
"Fool! That is a behemoth! You stand no chance against it, this monster is from the 65th floor, this creature destroyed the country's greatest party long ago, run for it while I distract it" Meld shouted, the Behemoth inhales deeply before screaming, scaring the class as they tire to run away.
But another black circle appears in the path of escape.
"Wait! Another black magic circle ahead too!" Shizuku shouted.
"Thank you Captain obvious" Edi said, as skeleton soldiers emerged from the magic circle, covering everyone and making them panic.
The knights supporting the class rally and fight off the skeleton soldiers while Meld goes and tries to fight the dark soul's boss.
All while Shizuku and Ryutaro try to rally the other scared shit students.
"Alright! C'mere you bony fellas!" Ryutaro calls the bone monsters out.
"Everyone, keep calm and enter battle formation! Support the knights and we'll break through!" Shizuku calls out the students.
Everyone starts to fight the skeletons, Edi uses his axe to chop them down while Hajime uses transmute to trap Skeletons in the ground and crush them to dust.
"We've got to do something, we need a leader strong enough to blow open a path for us" Hajime said to Edi.
"Yeah well our fearless leader is suiciding to save our martyr Meld" Edi said annoyingly at the dumbass going back for the guy trying to buy time so they can live.
But no, the hero wants to save everyone, despite the monster beginning beyond them and causing everyone to die trying, Hajime turns to Edi.
"Edi, can you hold them off with your music?" Hajime asked him, Edi looked around.
"I got a song, but I don't think it works on a wooden guitar," Edi said, putting his axe back and getting a guitar pick.
"Just do it" Hajime calls out, running to get the stupid ass hero.
"Fuck me, ok" Edi said start to grits his teeth.

Edi sings a metal song and tries to play it on a guitar, gritting his teeth as the sound isn't the same but looking around he sees the song is working, using War Song Strike.

Edi continues to sing as the Knights get a boost of energy and power from the song as well as the students, however no one notices an opening on the side opening up away from the group.
Hajime runs toward Kouki and the Behemoth, said monster is ramming the barrier over and over again. Shockwaves from every hit, making the stone bridge start to creak from the assaults. Cracks form along the barrier and anyone with eyes and sees it is going to shatter.
Meld tries adding more incantations to the barrier but it's not helping much.
"Shit, it won't hold for long! Kouki, retreat! The rest of you as well" Meld orders him.
"I refuse! I can't leave you behind! We're going to make it back together" Kouki shouted, the guy can't accept the very idea of 'abandoning' anyone. The poor bastard thinks he can take on the fuck off monster by himself.
Meld sees the cramped space makes it hard to dodge the behemoth's charge, which is why retreat would be better while the barrier was up. However, only the knights know that fact causes their veterans, while the students are dumbass teenagers that still think they're invincible. Meld sees that praising Kouki and the others made overconfident in his skills.
And overconfidence is a slow and sidious killer.
"Amanogawa!" Hajime shouted, getting Kouki attention.
"Nagumo!?" Kouki asked Hajime to run to him.
"You need to retreat! Everyone needs you at the back! Now!" Hajime yelled angrily at the surprised party.
"What do you mean? And more importantly, why are you here! You shouldn't be here! Leave it to us and" Hajime isn't hearing it.
"Just shut the fuck up" Hajime shouted at Kouki, cutting him off. Scaring Kouki unconsciously, not expecting the guy who was usually quiet and mature to swear at him, maybe he is Edi's friend after all.
"Don't you see what's behind you?! They're all panicking cause their leader isn't with them" Hajime shouted, grabbing Kouki collar and pointed behind him, Kouki saw the panicking classmate slowly being surround by the skeleton soldiers with Edi playing heavy metal supporting the knights,
All that training being flown out of the window and students attacking randomly, only the states keeping the scared students from dying but that slowly crumbling and soon someone will die, only Edi keeping the skeletons at bay but he breaking guitar strings, playing heavy metal.
"Fuck me" Edi swore, pulling out the axe and starts chopping.
"They need someone that has an attack to one shot them all! Someone to stand up and blow their fears away! And sadly you're all we got, so quit being a bitch, and fix this shit" Hajime shouted at him, Kouki looked from the screaming classmates back to Hajime, who was shaking his head then nodding. Kouki looks back at the fuck off monster.
"What about the monster?" Kouki points out, like Hajime should know.
"I have an idea" Hajime said, oh shit he does.
As Shizuku, Ryutaro and the others are being overwhelmed, Edi snaps his last string.
"Oh come on, his thing is worthless," Edi said, swinging the guitar as a few of the skeletons, smashing them as he steps back.
Suddenly, multiple Skeletons are blown away by Kouki.
"Kouki!?" Shizuka said, Edi gets pissed.
"Now you show up, what had to wait for the right moment for a hero entrance or shit, fucken show boating asshole" Edi said, their getting gangbang and now he shows up when he breaks his guitar Kouki winces at Edi.
"Yeah, everyone sorry for being late! We need to cut our way through here! Magic units are to immediately go to Meld and follow his instructions! Until our exit is secured, the behemoth is to be confined. I'll cut open our path! We have to defeat these monsters and secure the exit! Leave the forward to me! Nagumo will hold the rear, we will provide protections" Kouki said to Kouri's and Edi's shock.
"Nagumo is…?" Kaori looks back as Edi.
"Hajime what the hell are you going!?" Edi shouted at him, Meld was with Hajime about to carry Hajime's plan.
"Think you can do it?" Meld asked, with Hajime nodding.
"Alright, let's do this!" Meld shouted, rushing to the behemoth, unleashing a powerful attack, stunning it for a second.
"Go!" Meld shouted, Hajime nods, running toward the fuck off monster and slams his hand on the ground.
"Transmute" Hajime started creating Walls of rocks, immobilising the behemoth, the behemoth is trying to unstick it head off the ground, but Hajime keeps transmuting and reforming more stone around the Behemoth head, keeping it head buried.
Meld gathers the remaining knights and Kaori together, getting everyone to safety, as the students regain their composure as they start to push back the skeleton soldiers.
"Wait, Nagumo is still back there!" Kaori said Edi looks back to see Hajime over with the monster.
"Hajime get your ass back here" Edi shouted at him, but Meld stopped him.
"This is part of the kids plan! We're going to break through the soldiers and set up a line so the mages can bombard it with spells! Once he was out of the line of fire! Then he comes back with us while we keep the monster busy" Meld explains Hajime's plan to them.
"Holy shit then I'm helping him out" Edi said to him.
"So will I" Kaori said, but Meld shakes his head.
"No, we need you two to heal Kouki," Meld said to them.
"Screw Kouki, he has plot, Hajime doesn't" Edi said but Meld stops him.
"You're spitting on his resole!" Meld said to Edi, getting a pissed look from him, beside Meld, Kouki the only other bastard with one shot kills, if he dies their fucked both ways, Koari starts to chant.
"O breath of life, grant safety to this injured soul, Heaven's Blessing!" Kaori chants with tears in her eyes as she heals Kouki.
"Everyone, wait! We still have to save Nagumo, he back their stopping that monster by himself" Kaori shouted, her classmate looked at her in confusion, seriously, the class all sees Hajime class as 'incompetent'. Until they look back to see Hajime holding the monster off.
"What on earth is he going to do?" Endou asked.
"Is that monster buried in the bridge?" Suzu said, more and more classmates began crying out in surprise.
"Yeah Hajmie got big balls, the only reason was not being gangbang right now, so you magic pussies better shoot that thing when Hajmie gets out of the way" Edi said to them. Meld giving his orders.
"You heard the bard, Vanguard, advance! Rear-guard, prepare long-range spells! His magic won't last long, start blasting once he kid's clear" Meld orders them, his deep voice is heard through the room and the students got their shit together.
"Can't hold much longer" Hajime said, his mana beginning to run out the same time the students made it off the bridge, Hajime turns to see everyone made a retreat safely, then they turn around and start to line up.
"It's ready Kid, Run!" Meld yelled,
"Runnnn, Forest, Runnnn" Edi shouted, Hajime ready both and began to run back, the magic unit started firing at the behemoth, holding it back.
Fireball after fireball hit the behemoth with Hajime running for his life, the ground behind him started to break, the Behemoth broke his restraints and roared menacingly, looking more pissed off than ever.
The Behemoth was about to charge but more spells kept it at bay.
Like a bizarre meteor shower, each meteor a different colour, while the spell did no damage to the monster , it kept it back.
"It's working," Hajime said, happy to see his plan work.
"Fucken A man" Edi said, see his entire classmate shooting the fuck off monster.
However Hajime's smile broke, as another multitude of spells hit the behemoth, one of the spells didn't hit the monster, but instead was heading to Hajime, someone aiming for him.
"What?! The fireball turns to hit me" Hajime though looking over to see who shot him, seeing Daisuke glared at him with malice.
"You motherfucker" Hajime thought, getting send back by the fireball, Hajime looks about to see the Behemoth looking down on him, it slammed it head on the bridge, destroying it, casing Hajime and the Behemoth to fall down into the abyss, completely shocking everyone, as Kaori and Edi calls out to him.
"NAGUMO!" Kaori shouted.
"HAJIME" Edi shouted, turning to the spell shooters.
"YOU TEAMKILLING FUCKTARDS" Edi shouted at them in rage, knowing one of them shot Hajime, he saw a fireball hitting Hajime.
