The first of many intense parts has arrived, the Fire Lord has found our guppies and cornered them. How will they possibly get out of this one somehow? Will the Fire Lord capture Molly, or will she and her friends escape with their lives? I'll just say that there are some "cold" parts to this chapter, which does contain minor things that make it have this rating.
But anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter, it will be intense, and see you at the end, or should I say, "peak" of the chapter hehehe.
Chapter 3: Escape into a New World.
The Fire Lord has destroyed the guppy's school and has cornered them. He stood there with a smirk on his face, eager to get Molly. The guppies just backed up, scared of what could possibly happen.
"At last, my dear Molly, I've found you, now you will come with me so we can get this over with". Said the Fire Lord.
"W-wh-who even are you? And what do you want with me?" Molly asked him, terrified of her situation.
"I am Pyros the Fire Lord, master of pyrokinesis, and bringer of flames. I need you because you are a threat to my entire empire, so I must take you with me." Pyros explained.
"How could I be a threat to you? I'm just a kid, what could I do?" She asked him.
"Because you carry something in you that is the only thing capable of defeating me, but you will never know, cause you won't even remember it" he said in an evilish tone.
"Hey, robe guy! Leave her alone!" Deema shouted at him.
"Deema what are you doing?" Zooli asked her quietly.
"Protecting my friend, that's what! And I suggest you all do the same too! If he wants her, he has to get through us first!" Deema said heroically. The other guppies nodded at each other and got up. Bubble Puppy growled at Pyros.
"Please. Do not make me do this. I really do not want to destroy any of you. Just stand aside and give me the girl or else." Pyros said seriously.
"As long as we're with her, no one will get their hands on our friend, right guys?" Gil said motivately.
"Yeah!" they all shouted. Molly started to cry a bit after seeing how much her friends cared for her. Pyros started to chuckle.
"Haha…I must admit, you guys are the first people in 200 years to stand up to me. Suit yourselves then, if you won't give me Molly, then I'll just have to take her myself!" Pyros yelled. He started to charge towards them until-
"Bubbletucky Police, put your hands up now!" a cop shouted. The police had arrived.
"Are you kids okay?!" Officer Miranda shouted.
"Officer Miranda!" they all said relieved.
"Oh thank goodness, I thought you all were dead now. This is all my fault." she said with guilt.
"Why? What did you do?" Oona asked. The officer sighed.
"I told him where you guys were without knowing his true intention. I'm so sorry" she apologized to them.
"It's okay Officer Miranda, we understand," Molly said.
"And I must thank you for telling me, now get out of my way now!" Pyros said furious.
"You will not take Molly away, she's staying here!" the cop said. They all aimed their weapons at him, making him chuckle.
"Ok then, suit yourselves" he said before firing a fireball at a car, blowing it up, shocking everyone.
"Oh me oh my!" Deema said.
"And with just one fireball!" Goby said in shock.
"Everyone, fire at will!" Officer Miranda shouted. They all started to fire, but causing almost no damage.
"Kids get to the mountain now! You'll be safer there!" she shouted.
"But-"
"NOW!" she shouted louder.
The seven of them nodded at each other and started to run. Gil took Bubble Puppy. First they stopped at Mr. Grouper.
"Don't worry about me, just go now!" he said to them.
They all started to swim to the mountain as fast as they could. Luckily, it wasn't very far, but it was still a good 20 minutes away from the school by foot. Pyros took a while before he noticed the kids running, causing him to get even more mad.
"Oh no you don't! You guys won't escape me!" he shouted before defeating the police by causing a fire wave. "I can't let them get over the mountain!" he said before flying towards them.
"Ugh…(cough)...hurry kids" Officer Miranda said before passing out.
The guppies managed to get to the mountain bottom, but were unsure of what to do next. But it was a good thing they had their winter clothes.
"Now what do we do?" Oona asked.
"Either we hide from Pyros, or we climb the mountain, in which his powers might weaken due to the coldness" Nonny proposed.
"Isn't it obvious? We climb the mountain! Nonny's right, his powers might weaken. Come on, let's get climbing" Molly said. Her eyes glowed for a split second.
"Uh Molly. Did your eyes just glow now? Gil asked her.
"What? Did they glow? I'm not sure, but anyway let's get climbing" she said.
They all started to climb the mountain. It was hard due to the harsh wind and steep rocks, but due to their teamwork, they managed to get almost to the top in 2 hours. (Yes I know that's too long for them to get caught but cmon their kids wdye from them).
"We're almost to the top! I can almost see it!" Gil said excitedly.
"We should be there in about 5 minutes" Nonny said. "Just make sure not to cause an avalanche.
They were all so close to the top when-
"ZOOLI LOOK OUT!" Goby shouted. She looked behind and barely dodged a fireball. "That was close, who did that?" she asked.
"Thought you could escape me kiddies?". It was Pyros, and he had managed to catch up to them.
"Well what took you so long huh?" Deema mockishly asked.
"Well my powers aren't as strong up here than they are down here Ms. Drama Queen" Pyros mockingly said back.
"(Gasp) Rude!" she said.
"Grrr what do you even want with me!" Molly angrily said to him, not knowing why.
"Because you possess abilities that are passed down to a few beings! One of those is my major weakness, and I can't allow you live Molly" he said. "And I especially can't allow you all to get over the mountain, because then it will be impossible for me to get you," he said before covering his mouth, realizing what he had said.
"You heard him, get over the mountain now!" Molly said. They all started to run up as fast as they could. This angered Pyros to the point of madness.
"Ugh, fine Blaze, I'll destroy them" he said to himself. His hands started to glow, and started to throw lots of fireballs at them. They all saw this and kept dodging, when Zooli said-
"Guys, throw snowballs at him! That might work!" she shouted. They all nodded and threw snowballs. Most of them missed until Gil managed to hit him with one, hurting Pyros more than the police. "Bullseye!" he said.
"Ow! Grrr, that's it! No more mercy!" he yelled before summoning larger, more dangerous fireballs. They all gasped and started to climb faster. They all kept dodging, barely missing them. Oona had to help Nonny up while Goby and Zooli helped Deema get up. Molly and Gil were in trouble though, as they were targeted the most. Bubble Puppy then tripped, making him the target.
"Gotcha now pup!" Pyros said manically before summoning a flame ball.
"Bubble Puppy!" Molly said before running to save him.
"Molly no!" Gil shouted.
She ran towards him and threw him to Gil, and he caught him. However, this caused her to get hit on her back by the fireball, causing major pain, ruining her clothes, and knocking her out.
"MOLLY!" They all shouted in sadness.
"I'll be taking that!" Pyros said. Before he could grab her. Zooli and Goby pummeled him with snowballs, making him endure lots of pain.
"Go get her Gil, we'll hold him off!" Goby told his friend. Gil nodded.
"Oona, take Bubble Puppy." Gil said to her. She took the pet.
"Be careful Gil" she said worriedly.
"Don't worry, I will." He replied with confidence.
Gil ran down the mountain to where Molly was and saw her wound. It was bad, and was already starting to bleed a bit. He shivered, but picked her up in his arms and carried her up.
"Ack, NO!" Pyros shouted. He let out a pulse of fire, sending everyone back.
"I have had just about enough of you kids. Now give me Molly now or you will die!" He said very furiously. The kids wondered what to do. Then Gil got up with Molly.
"Listen here buddy. I don't care if you were trapped for 200 years, but you can't force somebody to hand over stuff anymore. You are not, and I repeat, will not, take Molly away from us. She is our friend, and we will do anything to protect her, right guys?" Gil said motivately.
"Yeah, she's our friend, and you won't get her!" Goby said
"If you want her, you're gonna have to get through us first!" Deema yelled.
"Gil's right! We will protect her!" Oona said with confidence
Nonny nodded his head with a smile.
"I may be new, but that doesn't mean that I won't protect my friends!" Zooli said.
"Hmm…you guys really do care for each other that much do you?"Pyros said.
"Of course! We are Bubble Guppies, we always stick together!" Gil said.
"Well I hope you don't mind if I, oh I don't know, KILL ONE OF YOU!" Pyros said angrily. They all gasped. "Better yet, ALL OF YOU, INCLUDING THE PUPPY!" Bubble Puppy whimpered in fear. Pyros summoned a large wave of fire that hit all of them, sending them all back and injuring them.
Gil was the first to get up, with Molly still in his arms.
"Ugh..everyone ok?" Gil said
"Never (cough) better Gil" Deema said. "He really does want us dead, huh?" she said.
"Not the time Deema!" Zooli said.
"Uh guys?" Oona said with fear. Nonny went by her.
Pyros was furious at this state. Too much anger and he would've actually killed them. He was at his point of breaking. There were fireballs in front of them from all angles. "This is it, goodbye guppies." he said to them. They all hugged each other, and awaited their fate. Pyros charged at them at full speed, ready to finish the job.
"Can I open my eyes now?" Deema asked.
"You sure can," Goby said with surprise.
They all opened their eyes to see a clear wall, with Pyros stuck behind it.
"What the? What is this? Why can't I get past it?" Pyros said, struggling to break it.
"It seems that the wall is preventing him from reaching the other side, like some kind of spell." Nonny said.
"So he can't cross and get us? Oona asked.
"It appears so." he replied.
"Finally, we're safe from that weirdo." Deema said with relief.
"I can still hear you blonde!" Pyros said.
"Oh shut up already!" Deema said. The rest laughed.
"Fine, hope you have fun stuck there while I take over your home!" he said, shocking the guppies.
"You can't do that! What about our friends and family?" Zooli said.
"They'll just be my servants for all eternity. Oh and I heard Molly has a little sister, right?" he said.
"What do you want with Mia?" Gil angrily asked.
"She will be my new apprentice, the new master of the flames. See you soon kids!" he said before flying off. They all just sat there in silence for a while until Zooli got up and saw the most amazing thing she's ever seen
"Hey guys, you might want to take a look at this." Zooli said.
"Not now Zooli, can't you see we're not in the mood here?" Deema replied.
"Just come look, I think you'll like it." she said back. They all got up and looked at what was a beautiful village on the other side of the mountain. They all just stood there in shock.
"Whoa, pretty!" Deema said with amazement.
"Um guys, I think Molly is bleeding." Gil said. She was, though it was minor, it was still bad, and it was looking like the burn was spreading. She started to groan in pain.
"Come on, maybe there's someone in the village who can help us!" Gil said. They all swam down the mountain. Little do they know, their adventure has just begun.

Well, looks like they managed to escape, but now they have to save Molly from dying. The adventure has officially begun. They will have to learn new skills, powers, and try to keep their friendship in one piece, can they do it? You'll just have to find out. I will be responding to reviews to keep things interesting:
