Sorry for the very long wait, I forgot about this story for a while, and just couldn't find time to do it. It's also because this chapter was the hardest to come up with, simply because I didn't know how to execute it. But now I finished it, and I'm free.

One more thing to mention, I will be trying to get the next 3 chapters finished and published as fast as possible, because after that, I'm going to have a lot less time to work on chapters because of school.

Oh yeah, this does contain a minor time skip, and I decided not to show the in between because I couldn't think of anything. Hope you all understand.

Chapter 15: A New Family

The guppies have left BlizzardTucky to get to the fourth temple located in Breezy Bay. Goby and Deema have decided to stay behind to help Oona get used to her new robotic tail. They went through many troubles and obstacles, but eventually they arrived at Breezy Bay. They all looked around for a bit, admiring the town's many buildings.

"This place looks very pretty," Molly commented.

"Where should we go to get to the temple?" Gil asked.

"According to the map, it says to go by the harbor to get there," Cryo tells them.

"What's a harbor?" Gil asks.

"A harbor is a place where ships and boats are kept," Nonny explains.

"Let's go then guys!" Molly said.

They all swam down to the harbor, where there were indeed many boats. People were getting on and getting off large ships, and others were docking their boats. They looked around to see where to go next.

"Hey, there's a ticket counter over there! Maybe we can ask them," Zooli pointed out.

"Good idea Zooli. Let's ask," Molly said. The guppies went over to the counter, where a young lady greeted them.

"Hello children, how can I help you?" she asked.

"Hello, we were wondering if there's a way we can get to the Breezy Bay temple. Are we able to ride a boat there?" Molly asked her.

"Ooh…I'm so sorry kids, but the last ship just left for the temple, and won't be back for about 4 hours," the lady said. The guppies were upset.

"Aw man, and we were so close!" Gil said.

"We'll just have to come back later I guess," Cryo said.

"Well, there is another thing," she added.

"What is it?" Molly curiously asked.

"To get on the boat, you have to purchase tickets, and we just sold 2 spots left on the boat, so I'm afraid you can't go," she said.

"Well there goes that plan I guess. Sorry Molly!" Gil said.

"Hold on, you're Molly?" the lady asked.

"...Yes?" Molly confusingly replied.

"Ah, so that's who Lady Snowa was referring to," she said.

"Wait, Lady Snowa told you about us?!" Molly said.

"Yeah, she purchased two tickets for you and someone named Nonny. Does he happen to be here?" she explained.

"Yes, I'm here," Nonny replied.

"That's great. Here are your tickets," the lady said, handing Molly and Nonny their tickets.

"Thank you!" They both thanked her.

"No problem, the boat will arrive in about 4 hours, so don't be late!" she said. They all left the harbor and went back into town.

"So what do we do now?" Gil asked.

"I'm not sure Gilly, we don't know much about this place, so there isn't much to go," Molly said.

"I have an idea. How about we all split up and explore the town, and meet up here in 4 hours?" Zooli suggested.

"I like that idea. That way we would get to learn more about this town, and we can pass the time while we're at it," Cryo added.

"Alright then, we'll meet at the harbor at 4 o clock," Molly said. Everyone nodded their heads.

"Cmon Gilly, let's go look at the ocean!" Molly said, grabbing Gil's hand.

"Woah, alright alright!" he said.

"Hey Cryo, want to go look at the dessert shops with me?" Zooli asked Cryo.

"Oh..I-uhm…sure!" he nervously replied. They both swam off, leaving Nonny to himself.

"(sigh) Guess I'm by myself now," he said to himself.

Nonny swam around the town for a bit, while also looking inside some of the buildings. He looked in the library, hotel, and shops. After a while, he decided to sit down on a bench to read his book.

"I wish Oona were here, she would love this place," Nonny told himself. "No, she needs to get better. Let's just start reading." He read his book for a while before finishing it, sighing in sadness.

"Guess I better go get a new one now," Nonny said, getting up from the bench. He swam towards the library, but before he could leave the block, he noticed something. It was a little girl guppy looking around before heading into the forest. "(That's odd, why would she head into the forest?)" Nonny asked himself. He decided to follow her.

Nonny swam into the forest to find the girl he saw. He went through many thick bushes and rocks, but eventually he found her in an open area.

"(Why does she have all that food?)" He asked himself. She had fruits, meat, and vegetables, and seemed to be handing them over to something.

"Take these back home, okay?" the little girl said to something. It nodded its head and ran off. Nonny tried to get closer, but accidentally stepped on a branch. She turned around and saw him, and then ran off.

"Hey, wait!" Nonny called out. "I don't want to hurt you!" He told her before swimming after her. They went through the forest, jumping over logs and rocks.

"(She's very athletic, almost as good as Zooli)" he said in his head, but that thought distracted him from the rock in front of him. He narrowly avoided it, but before he could celebrate, he ran straight into a tree, which broke his glasses…again.

"Oww..ugh…my…glasses.." he said before falling down. He reached for his glasses, but now he was in more trouble, as the tree was starting to break. Before it could fall on him, something grabbed Nonny and threw him on its back. Nonny then went unconscious.

When Nonny woke up, he found himself in a cave, but it wasn't a normal cave. It had food, water, a mini bed, and a small fire. His glasses were even fixed. The boy was very confused.

"Where…am I?" Nonny asked himself.

"Oh, you're awake!" someone said, startling him.

"Who's there?!" he said. It was the girl he saw earlier. She looked to be about Mia's age, with orange hair and green tail. She had blue eyes, and wore a fur coat.

"Hey, I know you! You're that girl I saw!" Nonny explained.

"Oh, I…didn't think you'd remember me…" she said. "It's best if you stay there. Your arm looked injured," she told him. He looked to see his arm was bruised. She sat down across from him.

"So, I have some questions to ask you, mister," she said in a serious tone.

"...Ok?" he said.

"First of all, who are you, and why did you follow me?" she asked him.

"I'm Nonny, and I followed you because I was wondering why you would go into the forest," he explained.

"Alright. Second question, what do you want from me?"

"Like I just said, I was just wondering why you were entering the forest. I don't want to hurt you in any way," Nonny told her.

"Okay. Well, Nonny, it seems you're good, so I let you heal, and you can leave this place," the girl told him as she got up to leave.

"Wait, I have a question to ask you," Nonny told her.

"What is it?"

"Who are you, and why are you in this cave?" he asked her. She was silent for a few seconds.

"My name is Nelly, and I'm hiding in this cave," Nelly introduced herself.

"Hiding from who?"

"I'm not allowed to tell anyone," she replied. "Anyway, it looks like you've healed, so you can leave now," Nelly said. Suddenly, a loud yelp was heard outside.

"What was that?" Nonny asked.

"Snowy!" she yelled, swimming outside.

"Nelly wait!" Nonny said, following her. When he got outside, he saw Nelly with a large wolf.

"Are you okay Snowy? What happened boy?" she asked the wolf. It whimpered and looked at his leg.

"Oh no, you've hurt your leg!" Nelly said.

"What is that thing? That's the largest wolf I've ever seen!" Nonny asked her. She went silent for a few seconds again.

"I'll explain later, just help me push him in the cave!" Nelly told him. Nonny nodded his head and helped her push Snowy in the cave. Once they got him in, they both sat down and sighed in relief.

"This is Snowy, my pet Ice Wolf. He was my family's pet before we fled," Nelly explained.

"Why did you leave your family?" Nonny asked her.

"I didn't leave, they told me to. Like I said, I can't tell you in case you work for them," she told him.

"Who would I work for? I told you I didn't want to hurt you," Nonny asked her again.

"I've said too much. I need to help Snowy heal, or else we're in trouble," Nelly said.

"Let me help. After all, two makes a better pair than one," Nonny suggested.

"(sigh) Alright, you can help, so listen closely," Nelly said. They huddled together.

"We need to get the Icy Herb, which is said to grow in very specific places on Earth, one of them is Glacier Lake. We can get there to grab one to heal Snowy, but it'll be very dangerous to get there, as no one has ever made it there and returned," Nelly explained.

"What's the path we'll take?" Nonny asked.

"We can go through the Frozen Tunnel to get there quicker, but that's filled with cold gas, which can slow down our lungs and kill us, or we can go the longer way, through Grassy Grove, but that's filled with killer plants everywhere, but I know how to deal with them, so I think we should-"

"Go through the Frozen Tunnel," Nonny interrupted her.

"What?! Are you crazy?! We'll die in there!" Nelly said to him.

"Nelly, I've been through some dangerous stuff, and I can promise you that we can make it through there if we stick together. Please, for Snowy," Nonny encouraged her. Nelly looked at him, and she saw him as someone who looked like Nonny, which made her pupils grow. She grabbed his hand.

"For Snowy," she said. "Be safe boy, we'll be back!" Nelly said to Snowy, who barked back. Nonny looked at his watch. It said 1 o clock, which means he had 3 hours left.

Nonny and Nelly swam through the snow covered forest as they made their way to the Frozen Tunnel. Nonny made sure they avoided the creatures that would kill them. Nelly was amazed at how he knew how to stay away from them, when she couldn't avoid them.

"We should be there in a few minutes, so not much further," Nelly tells Nonny. He nods in acknowledgement. While they're walking, Nonny can't stop thinking about what Nelly said earlier.

"I can't tell you in case you work for them" Nonny remembers Nelly saying that to him.

"Hey Nelly?" he says.

"What's up Nonny?" she replies.

"I want you to tell me honestly. What really happened to you? Who made you run away from home?" Nonny asked her.

"I told you, I can't tell you"

"Nelly, look at me," he said. She looked at him.

"I'm a Bubble Guppy, and as one, I always help others that are in need no matter what. But to do that, I have to know what's wrong. My friends taught me that, and I always teach them new things too. So please, if you can tell me what's wrong, I can help you," Nonny explained to her. Nelly looked away, trying to hold it in.

"Alright, I'll tell you," replied, sitting down on a log. Nonny sat down with her.

"Me and my family lived in a town called Icicle Town. We loved to play with everyone, and me and my friends would explore outside, though we'd usually get in trouble sometimes, but we had so much fun. Me, my mom, dad, brother and Snowy had our best lives there," Nelly told him about her home.

"I see, but why did you leave? It seems like a nice place," Nonny asked her.

"I left because we were under attack," she said.

"Under attack? From who?"

"The Fire Lord, Pyros," she said. Nonny gasped in shock.

"Pyros?! He attacked you?" he said.

"You've heard of him?" she asked him.

"Yes, he's the reason me and my friends are here in the first place. He's probably taken over my home as we speak, back in BubbleTucky," Nonny explained.

"I didn't know that. Guess we both have been hurt by him," Nelly quietly said.

"But that doesn't explain why you were told to leave. Did he exile you?" Nonny asked.

"No, it was very different. Pyro's army destroyed my home town. They burned everything down, and killed everyone in sight. My friends, teachers, and family were all brutally murdered. My parents told me and my brother to get on Snowy and get as far away as possible. I didn't want to leave them, but my mom told me it was to keep us safe. She told us to go to a place called BlizzardTucky, but we never made it there. Me and my brother saw Pyros kill my parents with our own eyes, and that hurt me," Nelly explained. Nonny was speechless.

"I…didn't know that happened to you. But you said you had a brother, right?" Nonny asked Nelly.

"That's right," she replied.

"What happened to him?" he asked her.

"He was taken by one of the Sizzling Six. We were eating in the cave, when one of them named Leon and his soldiers ambushed us. They were going to kill us, but my brother said he'll go with them if they leave me and Snowy alone. They agreed, but I didn't want him to go. He told Snowy to keep me safe, and he held me back as they took him. That was the day I never forgot, and now (sniff), I have Snowy left, and if he dies, then I…(sniff)...don't know what to do anymore," Nelly explained as she started to cry slightly. Nonny was heartbroken, and hugged her, shocking her.

"I never knew you went through that. I couldn't understand what you went through, as I don't have siblings, but I do miss my parents. That's why I was so silent for most of my life, but my friends helped me get out of that zone, and now I'm able to talk to anyone. I'm sorry you went through that, and I want to make an offer to you," Nonny told her.

"What is it?" she asked.

"You said you were trying to get to BlizzardTucky right?" He asked Nelly, to which she nodded her head. "Well, that's where me and my friends are staying. We're here at Breezy Bay to go to the temple to help my friend get more powerful with her ice powers to beat Pyros. So, would you like to come with us to BlizzardTucky and stay with us?" Nonny explained to her. Her eyes dilated.

"R-Really? You'd do that for me?" she asked.

"Of course! A Bubble Guppy never leaves a friend behind," he said. Nelly hugged him, and he hugged her back

"Thank you Nonny, now we'd better get going. I think I see the tunnel," Nelly said.

Once they arrived at the tunnel, they quickly noticed it was filled with the gas, just like Nelly said. It was also longer than Nelly said it was.

"Well, we're here, so now what-wait. Did it get longer or is it just me?" Nelly said.

"I'm not sure. It could've been a geological change or something, or maybe something else did it," Nonny suggested.

"I don't think so. The land here hasn't changed in years. Someone had to have done this, so now what do we do?" Nelly wondered.

Nonny was looking for a way to get through, when he noticed something on the ceiling of the tunnel. It was a small lever hidden uptop, and this gave him an idea.

"Nelly, I have a plan, so listen to me." He said to Nelly. She looked at him.

"There's a lever up on the ceiling of the tunnel," he said, pointing to the lever. "I believe that does something, so I'm going to launch you up to the lever, and you're going to pull it, and I'll catch you, got it?" Nonny explained to her.

"Got it!" Nelly said with confidence.

They both went to the tunnel entrance, and ran in as they held their breaths to not inhale the gas. Once they got to the point where the lever was, Nonny gave Nelly the signal, and he lifted and launched her up into the air, and she pulled the lever. He caught her, making sure not to open his mouth. Nothing happened, and they were running out of air. Nonny was about to make a signal to swim back, when the ground opened under them, causing them to fall down and slide to the other side. They both gasped for air.

"Well that happened I guess," Nonny said in shock.

"That was amazing Nonny! I didn't think you'd be right! That was very smart of you!" Nelly said to him. He blushed slightly.

"T-Thanks Nelly, it just came to me," he said.

They kept on moving, eventually making it to Glacier Lake. However, they were met with a surprise. Pyro's soldiers surrounded the herbs, making sure that no one could get them.

"What are they doing here?" Nonny whispered.

"Making sure that no one else can get the herbs. They use it to heal the animals they use for Pyro's dirty work," Nelly explained. "We can sneak past them using-"

While Nelly was speaking, Nonny noticed an adult pair of the clothes the soldiers were using, and got an idea,"

"Did you hear me Nonny?" Nelly asked him.

"Huh?"

"Great, now I have to explain it again," she whispered.

"I have another idea…" Nonny said, holding up the clothes he saw.

The guards were looking around the area, making sure no one got past, when they noticed someone.

"Who goes there?" One of them shouted.

"I'm here to collect the herbs. We've ran out back at the base, and the Snowhogs are getting tired," Nelly said in a lower voice.

"Of course, take as much as you need," the guard said. They took a few herbs before leaving.

"Thank you, I'll be on my way now," she said, as she started to leave.

"Now let's get back to the cave!" Nelly whispered so they couldn't hear her. However, just as they were leaving, Nonny didn't see a small rock in the ground, and tripped, revealing them.

"Hey, you tricked us!" the guard shouted.

"Run!" Nelly shouted. They grabbed the herbs and started to run to the cave, dodging fire balls. Nonny threw a small smoke bomb behind, temporarily stopping the guards.

"Over here, I know a shortcut back, it only works this way!" Nelly shouted, revealing a small hatch. They both jumped in, and Nelly shut it as she jumped in, bringing them back to Nelly's cave.

"That was close, we made it!" Nonny said in relief.

"Cmon Nonny, we have to help Snowy!" Nelly said. They rushed into the cave to see Snowy, who barked in excitement.

"We're back boy, and we got the herbs!" Nelly said, handing one over to the wolf, who ate it in one bite. "How do you feel?" she asked him, and he got up and licked her endlessly.

"Ok, ok boy I get it!" Nelly said, giggling from the licks. Snowy looked at Nonny.

"No wait please I'm fine-" he was interrupted by Snowy's licks. He chuckled and got up before noticing his watch said 3:45 PM.

"Oh no, I'm gonna be late for the boat!" Nonny shouted. "I have to go!"

"Oh, well good luck Nonny!" Nelly told him.

"I don't think so kids," someone said.

Nonny turned around to see the guards with more soldiers behind them, armed with fireballs and weapons. Nonny backed up.

"How did you find us?" he asked them.

"Simple, we followed the footprints. This is a snowy place after all," the guard said. "Now, come with us now or you will die," they told them.

"Oh yeah?" Nonny said. "I think we'll-"

"Step aside, Nonny. I'll handle this one," Nelly said. "Ready Snowy?" she asked her pet. Snowy roared loudly at all of them, causing them to fall down.

"Retreat! We can't fight a full strength Ice Wolf!" the guard said. They all got up and retreated from the cave.

"See? Simple as that, Nonners," Nelly said.

"Wait. What did you just call me?" Nonny asked her.

"Uh…Nonners. Is that a bad nickname?" she asked him.

"No, of course not. One of my friends call me Nonners, and I don't tell her this, but I actually like the nickname a bit," Nonny told her about a certain guppy. She chuckled.

"(sigh) I think my brother would like you alot. Besides, you look like him," Nelly told him. Nonny sighed and went up to her.

"Say Nelly, there's something I've been meaning to ask you," Nonny said to her. This got the young girl confused.

"What is it?" she confusingly asked him.

"I don't know what it's like to have siblings, and you've lost your only one. So I was wondering if…you'd like to be my little sister?" Nonny asked her. Her eyes glowed and dilated as she went silent.

"I know, you'd rather not want to-" Nonny was stopped by a hug.

"I'd love to," Nelly said quietly with tears in her eyes. "Now, let's go to make sure you don't miss your boat," she said. Nonny smiled as he, Nelly and Snowy left the cave.

The others were at the harbor waiting for Nonny. They were starting to get worried.

"Where is Nonny? He's usually not this late at all?" Gil asked.

"Maybe he fell asleep somewhere, or reading a book?" Zooli suggested.

"I doubt it. I agree with Gilly, he's usually not this late to anything, in fact he's usually the first one here," Molly said.

"Hey, there he is!" Cryo said, pointing to him. He and Nelly were riding on Snowy. They stopped in front of them.

"Hello," he said.

"Nonny?!" they all said.

"What's up?" he asked as he and Nelly got off Snowy. Bubble Puppy went up to Snowy, but got spooked when he looked down at him.

"Where did you go?" Gil asked him.

"I had a bit of an adventure, and it looks like I made it just in time," he said.

"Who's that?" Zooli said, pointing to Nelly.

"Oh, this is Nelly, my new sister," he told them.

"Sister?!" the all shouted.

"Is she a relative or?" Cryo asked.

"Not quite. Pyros attacked and destroyed her home and family, so she took refuge in a cave. I helped her heal Snowy here with Icy Herbs, and she became my new sister, since I..don't have any siblings," Nonny explained.

"Hello. Nice to meet you all!" Nelly excitedly greeted them.

"Hi!"

"Hi there!"
"Nice to meet you Nelly!"
"Hello.

"Last call for the Breezy Temple! Last call for the Breezy Temple!" someone shouted.

"That's for us! Come on Nonny!" Molly said, grabbing Nonny's hand.

"Good luck!" Gil shouted.

"Be careful!" Zooli said.

"Come back in one piece!" Cryo yelled.

"Good luck big bro!" Nelly shouted. Nonny looked back and gave a thumbs up and a smile at her as they got on the boat. They all waved goodbye as the boat took off for the temple.

"Look after Nelly guys!" Nonny shouted to them.

"We will Nonny! You can count on us!" Gil responded.

"So now what?" Zooli wondered.

"Well, Glacia did hand me these hotel tickets, and she said our luggage would arrive here, so I guess we go to the hotel and get refreshed, then we can go explore the town more," Cryo explained.

"Wait, how could our stuff get here so quickly?" Gil asked.

"There's underground pipes that fast travel luggage to different hotels. It makes it easier to bring it that way," Cryo explained.

"Huh, that's neat. But hang on, what about Nelly?" Gil said.

"Cryo, are you okay sleeping with Gil, so Nelly can be with me?" Zooli asked him.

"Oh..I-um…of course! She can be with you," Cryo told her.

"Great, then let's go!" Nelly said. They all got up on Snowy and headed for the hotel. Little did they know, a chain of events would begin to occur now.

Authors Notes

Well I did it. I finally finished this chapter, and I bet it's something you weren't expecting. Nelly will be an important character in this story, and it was nice to give Nonny some spotlight for once. But now, let's answer some reviews.

ReaderandWriter9000: Hello friend! The moments for Deema were a way to give an answer to her goofy personality, sorta like a cover for her true feelings, and the punch was to show even people like her have true limits. I'm glad you're relieved that Oona is okay…for now, and the next trial will be a difficult one, mostly because Molly and Nonny are some of the smartest in the group, with Zooli almost passing Molly. I hope you're excited for more!

PrimroseRaspberry: Hey there! I'm glad you liked Deema's backstory, as it was something I had to think of to truly make it work for the chapter. I never realized you were treated the same way before, I've certainly been there too. I'm also interested in that fanfic, so I hope to see it soon!

Thanks for reading this long awaited chapter, and I'll try to get the next one out as soon as I can! For now though, here's one last part to this chapter:

Post Chapter

We come to Pyro's throne room, where the Fire Lord himself is sitting on his throne, happy about something.

"Now that I've conquered BubbleTucky and Big Bubble City, it's time for world domination next!" he shouted. One of his messengers arrived.

"Sir, we've received a message from the Glacier Lake troops!" they said.

"What is it?" Pyros asked.

"They said two kids stole some of the herbs used for the animal slaves. Their Icy Wolf fended them off, and they escaped," he explained.

"What?! Who are they?" Pyros said, furious.

"According to them, one of them is from the Bubble Guppies, and the other one is…the sister to Nundry, sir," he told them.

"I see. Very well, you may leave now," Pyros told him. The messenger left. Pyros got up and headed to his prison room. He walked down the hallway until he made it to a certain skill.

"Well Nundry, it seems your sister is alive," Pyros said evilly. It shows a celled Nundry, who was beaten and handcuffed.
