Hello again! I'm back with another chapter! This one is a series of short moments of Sora experiencing the different missions on the very familiar worlds and seeing a few familiar faces. Again, they're still in KHχ[Chi] days! I based most of the scenes off of what took place before the Keyblade War.

I'll let you read and see what I mean. Okay then, enjoy!

*NOTE/SPOILER WARNING: It takes place AFTER KHIII*

NOTE 2: Lots of retelling of the experience of "Player" in KHχ[Chi] but in Sora's View

NOTE 3: Sora is NOT Player, he's just got similar experiences. Player exists somewhere doing the main story, but they don't cross paths... I Think...

NOTE 4: A series of time skips from one world to another.

Chapter 11: From World To World

.

[World 2: Dwarf Woodlands]

Sora had been here for almost a month now, and he was finally given his first mission off-world. He was excited. This would be the first time in a long while that he would get to see something other than the massive sea of purple. Now don't get him wrong, he was beginning to like this town, but at the same time, the purple was a bit too much. So when he landed in a beautiful meadow of flowers and emerald green grass & trees, there was some relief within him. Maybe it was the fact he wasn't stuck in a single world, part of the world(?) anymore. He now had a new place to explore. Unlike the other times, except for his Mark Of Mastery exam, he wasn't here with Donald and Goofy. He wasn't off on an adventure saving the world and exploring what it had to offer. He was here for a mission.

Finding new friends like the seven dwarves was fun. It really did feel like his adventures all over again, though on a smaller scale. There was no threat of locking worlds or finding the key item to open up a pathway to a new world. He was simply helping his friends out in their daily lives and keeping the heartless out of their work. It was all fun! Though there was a big shock one day when he heard crying in the woods and found a familiar figure. That person was Snow White, one of the original seven pure hearts of light.

'So, this must be Snow White's home world!' He thought excitedly. He went up to calm her down. When she had, he greeted her, saying it was nice to see her again, but she tilted her head confused.

"Oh? I don't believe we've met. I'm Snow White, who are you?" She asked in her curious and gentle tone. Sora on the other hand shook his head, remembering again he was in a place where he wasn't known yet. It was just like the other worlds he realized, another familiar face for him but a stranger to them.

"I'm Sora, it's nice to meet you." He wanted to say again, but he left it out as he offered his hand and lifted her up off the ground. He smiled kindly, but deep inside he was saddened.

.

[World 3: Wonder Land]

In between his missions of Daybreak Town and Dwarf Woodlands, before meeting Snow White, he had been given missions on a world he was familiar with, Wonder Land. When he arrived, it was much like the first time, falling down the mysterious hole and arriving in the strange room. It was interesting to see this world again, nothing much had changed and it was still as strange as ever. Meeting the doorknob who revealed the table, drinking the potion, and entering the world was just like he remembered… minus Donald and Goofy's presence.

When he made it to the other side of the door, a much different site greeted him. He wasn't directly brought to the courts of the Queen of Hearts. Instead, he was brought into a forest of winding and twisting pathways. But then again, he didn't enter the doorknob's door the first time he came. Instead, he entered through the passageway on the side, after pushing a bed that merged with the wall. Everything seemed to tower over him, it truly felt like he shrank. Walking on flowers, crossing from leaf to leaf, and scaling giant logs to make it to a different part of the forest, this was reminding him a little of his time in the ToyBox world.

He wondered, 'Is this how Wonder Land was supposed to be if I had gone through the door?' Then again, when he thought about the memories Roxas' shared with him the realm of sleep, Wonder Land had looked different from his visit. Maybe that was just how it was, different each time someone came?

Finally, finding a way out of that endless wandering, he finds a clearing in the forest where more pathways and signs pointed every which way. While walking along the dirt path, he sees an old friend.

"Hey, Alice!" He greets one of the original princesses of heart.

She looks at him strangely, "My how curious, I don't believe we've met, and yet you know my name. Well, at least you don't speak in riddles like everyone else I've met."

Sora was surprised, "Alice, don't you remember? It's me, Sora, we've met before."

"Why no, I don't believe we have. But if we did, perhaps this world let you meet another me or maybe you met a future me. With all the strange things I've seen here, it would be no surprise if time was a mess here or a doppelgänger of me was about." Alice smiled in her happily oblivious way.

For the first time in a while, Sora was reminded of his situation and just what these worlds were. He had gotten so lost in the swing of daily life, that he almost forgot. These worlds, they're just a projection of the past… for him(?) well, the future for everyone else. Kind of like the datascape where King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy ended up when they tried to fix the chronicler's journal. They're a clean slate, they don't know him, but he knows them. He had to make connections all over again.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense. Well, I'm Sora! Nice to meet you again, Alice."

"A pleasure Sora!" She smiled happily before inviting Sora to come along with her.

While in this world, Sora learned just how much trouble Alice could get into, so he learned to play the babysitter. This must be how Donald felt when he went off and got distracted. He seriously needed to apologize to him after he makes it back home again.

.

[World 4: Agrabah]

Two worlds with princesses of heart were one thing, adding a third, Sora was beginning to see a pattern. When he arrived in Agrabah and saw the familiar town and desert, he immediately thought of Princess Jasmine, Aladdin, and Genie. Though, when he neared the town and saw Aladdin laying in the sands, he realized this was also another past, but way further back. He wasn't together with Jasmine, also, where was Abu? He finds out that in this version of the past, the heartless were just roaming around the city being a menace to society. He and Chirithy agreed that they needed to help clear them out and so they did.

This was something new, he made friends with the palace guards and helped them out. The captain looked tough, but he was kind to Sora and allowed him to help in clearing out the heartless. His respect only increased after Sora helped out one of the guards who was struggling in the deserts. He even got a tip about a cave of treasures out there. Sora could almost guarantee it was the Cave of Wonders. Almost.

When the guards asked for help with another group of heartless that appeared in the upper part of the city, Sora made clean work and finished them off. After he thought he was done, a big heartless with a treasure chest filled with gems and jewels on its head nearly ambushed him. Aladdin came over and offered his assistance. It was nice teaming up and fighting alongside a friend again, even if Aladdin didn't remember or know him in this time. Aladdin finally opened up about Abu being missing and how he had been taken by the "monsters," as he called them. They both agreed to split up and gather intel around the city, he'd meet up and get together again when they got a lead.

After some time, Sora encountered a hub of sorts for other wielders off on their own missions to clear the heartless in and around this world. This was the place where the guards and security team stayed to either sharpen their blades or place requests on the bulletin board for help. Some wielders were resting, others were looking at the board for a new request to complete, and others were either leaving or just coming in like he was. It was also where he found out that these projections of these worlds will treat each wielder on whatever level they were on. He overheard conversations with one of the guards with different wielders about princess Jasmine, another about the trouble maker Aladdin, and something about a "Prince Ali" visiting town. He was sure that none of these things happened while he was out, or maybe not yet. This almost felt like a game personalized to each wielder.

When he got back out, he continued to help the guards and citizens in whatever they requested of him. He was quickly becoming a favorite among the people. In all that time between missions here and in other worlds… parts of the world, they still hadn't found Abu.

It wasn't until many missions later that Sora was able to come back and help Aladdin and Abu reunite.

.

[World 5: Olympus Coliseum]

It was a nostalgia trip for Sora when he walked into the good ol' Olympus Coliseum and saw Phil and Herc again. Again, the same with every world so far, no one remembered him. But unlike his very first visit, he didn't have to prove his strength by pushing some rock or train by destroying barrels. He actually got a pass cause Herc said he had a hunch about him. Maybe, somewhere deep inside, the memories resurfaced in Herc, and he remembered his bond with Sora. That's what Sora chose to believe. So in he went, participating and flying through the games. He won the first tournament and now Phil had told him to come back later when the next one was to be held.

After another few missions away from Olympus Coliseum, he came back and Phil was impressed with him. He almost expected to be called a junior hero by the guy, but no, he wasn't. Phil was actually praising him, saying if he kept this up, he'd be a champ in no time. Then, he heard a voice calling him out for fighting without taking it seriously. Sora turned around to find Cloud. This was a past Cloud who wasn't about friendship, someone who only cared about winning. Apparently, the buster sword wielder wasn't paying attention to his fight, cause as much as it may have looked silly, he was serious about this. Cloud left saying he couldn't care less about Sora and his potential to be a hero. All he could do was watch Cloud go, hoping that the H-ster wouldn't get to his friend like before.

But if this was the past and how things were supposed to happen, that event was most likely going to come up again. Sora could only grimace at the thought. He'd do his part and make sure Cloud wouldn't fall for his tricks again.

.

[World 6: Beast's Castle]

What Chirithy called eerie and scary, Sora remembered fondly. Beast's Castle, home of Beast and another princess of heart friend, Belle. Beast would take a while to befriend again, but he was all for it. He really appreciated all that he did for him back in Hollow Bastion when he didn't have his Keyblade and again when he got to team up again more than a year later. It was worth it to Sora to make the same friend a second time.

Though, he didn't expect to be thrown in prison, it made for an interesting first re-meeting. At least Belle and friends helped him out of the cell, otherwise, he would have smashed the door in with the key. He actually forgot for a moment that his Keyblade could also be used as a key. How embarrassing, especially since it wasn't the first time he forgot. But hey, at least he didn't need to destroy anything.

Sora explained to the group that the heartless were here because of the darkness in one's heart. The group guessed it came from Beast's sadness and anger. He got slight flashbacks to Xaldin fooling Beast and causing him to turn on his friends. But wait, if the nobodies aren't originally here, what caused Beast to become even more untrusting? What causes him to turn on others besides his situation?

When they met again, Beast explained someone tried to take his rose and accused him of also being a part of it. Belle stepped in and scolded Beast who backed down and listened to her like a little child being reprimanded by a parent. The rest of the group came, sharing their concern for Beast and eventually, he was back to the usual Beast that Sora knew. They worked together and pushed away the heartless from the castle. He stayed with Bell and Beast for several days clearing out the place.

When they were finally done, Beast and Belle showed their gratitude to Sora and he smiled, accepting their thanks. Beast then decided to give Belle the wonderful gift of his library and he watched as the two lovebirds' evening went along smoothly. Later that night, he watched as they danced together in the ballroom. He then recalled this is what Beast did back when he was off fighting the Nobodies. So this is what was supposed to happen in a normal world, huh?

He was prepared to leave them be, exiting together with Chirithy and reflecting on their time. He thought of him and Kairi, wondering if ever they would get to share a dance as they did? His thoughts were interrupted when he saw Belle in her usual blue dress, with an addition of a cloak, racing out of the castle. What was going on? He had to follow.

It was a blur after following Belle into the sudden snowstorm. He met a new face, Belle's "Papa," and later was asked to return to check on Beast. During that time, Sora helped fend off some people who were attacking the castle, then he tried to fight off the leader, Gaston, whose darkness became a heartless. It was a long and grueling battle, but Sora had won, afterwards, he rushed back to Belle and Beast. When he got there, he witnessed the sad scene, Beast was injured by Gaston before that guy himself met his end. This scene, with Belle holding Beast, crying, reminded him of Eugene and Rapunzel. Though unlike that time, there were no magical tears to save them, he couldn't see how Beast could be well again.

The two shared their heart, words pouring out in what would be their final moments. Beast's love had shown through before passing, then the last petal fell. Everyone was bowing their heads in respect until they noticed a bright white glow. Beast was raised up, light enveloped him and blinded them. When they looked again, no longer was there a beast, but a man. The servants cheered, an act of true love restored the castle and the servants. Sora was in awe, congratulating everyone and playfully jabbing at the former Beast in his new form. He was embarrassed, but only for a moment, Belle was by his side and he was happy to enjoy this moment.

.

By this point, he had been to five worlds, four of which have the original princesses of heart living there. Four of them. He had met and reintroduced himself to three out of the four, all over again.

.

[World 1: Daybreak Town]

When Sora completed missions in the different parts of the world, he would always come back here. He'd go turn in his reports about his lux collection numbers, and in exchange, he'd get his earnings and promised rewards. After so long here, this was beginning to feel like a third home. Destiny Islands will always be number one, the Gummi Ship with Donald and Goofy was a close second. He hasn't given up finding a way home, Never. But there was only so much he could do without help and without someone to trust and reveal he's from the future. As much as he trusted [Insert Name Here] and the others, he didn't want to burden them with things they may not understand. Also, the talks of the Keyblade War didn't help his circumstance either.

After he came back from what would be his final mission off-world, he spent the rest of the time in Daybreak Town. The talks and whispers of a War approaching on the horizon spread. Sora didn't know what to do. He could stop this, but then, he'd end up changing the future, his friends' future, and his as well. He could participate and try to save as many as he could, but what would happen to him? Would he make it or end up as another key in the graveyard? What would happen to Chirithy? He didn't want her to go just because he may not make it out? He had witnessed Chirithy disappear together with their wielders a little more often than he cared to admit.

There was also the other option. He could flee, join the Dandelions and make it to the worlds after the war. He could help rebuild them all over as he learned they did in Kairi's grandma's story.

But…

He wanted to go back home.

So, before making that difficult choice, he decided, he'd go to them, to his friends. He'd go and reveal his situation to them. Maybe, just maybe, since they weren't keyblade wielders, they might come up with a better answer, one that could get him home. Cause this might very well be the last time he'd see those friends again.

I mostly based all of these off the gameplay and the way missions are separated. If you're wondering why we didn't see Jasmine, it's cause the KHχ[Chi], according to the walkthrough on YT anyway, seems to not show us meeting the Princess until after the war, which is Unchainedχ/KHUx. As for the rest, I mostly kept it brief.

For the Daybreak Town portion, I'm not really going into detail about his choice. Too soon to write the transition from the real town to data town yet. Though, I may share some Data Town stories in the future. As for the worlds, I'll mostly be sharing side missions with Sora, [Insert Name Here], the Chirithy, and a few others in the future. Expect some new people and some familiar ones in the future.

Oh, also, if you're wondering why I didn't add Castle Of Dreams and Enchanted Dominion, I felt it was odd. We don't go to those worlds Until KHUx, but then Strelitizia has a flashback of her seeing player in the Castle Of Dreams? Then there's that one scene much later on shows that only the five worlds were available and the other two were opened After Unchainedχ/Ux? I'm a little unsure of the world's and her placement in the timeline honestly.

Well, that's everything for now! If you have any ideas, suggestions, questions, or any comments for this story, feel free to let me know. Thanks for reading everybody! :D
