"Woah, let's back up a second, sh-shall we?"
Needless to say, Bruce was scared of fighting Hercules. He didn't want to completely hulk out.
Skaar on the other hand, was no coward. He may have been shy, (His hairline said as much) but he wasn't one to back down from a fight.
Skaar ran forward.
Hercules swung his mace, but he underestimated the Hulkling's strength. He caught it with one hand, and punched Hercules in the face.
The demigod showed little pain.
"To be honest, I expected a little less."
Hercules kicked Skaar, sending him hurtling back into Bruce.
Namor shouted, flying forwards. They swung their weapons at one another, blocking hits and trying to exchange blows.
Bruce was trying so hard not to let the Big Guy come out. They had come together to be one, but his intelligence and the Hulk's strength would create a monster so terrible and destructive the universe or whatever they were in would be in danger.
Namor, despite being out of water for several hours, was still an equal opponent for Hercules. He blocked hits with his spear, and attempted to impale the god. His chest was simply too durable for that. He smacked the spear away and attempted to punch Namor, only for him to dodge and knee him in the face.
The crowd around the arena was silent. Their hero was being beaten.
Behind Hercules, Skaar picked him up and threw him against the walls of the arena. The warrior's durability allowed him to withstand the hits. He soon picked up a piece of debris from the arena and threw it at Skaar. He dodged and it hit Bruce directly in the forhead. He roared in anger. He slowly began to grow in size and strength. Bruce was losing control. Hulk was coming out.
Symbiote Peter roared and landed onto another building. He looked around. None of the other Peters were in sight.
Peter 3, seeing his opportunity, shot a web and swung down, kicking Symbiote Peter in the face. He fell a long way and landed in the middle of an abandoned construction sight.
Peter 2 swung and landed down in front of the Symbiote.
"Peter, I know you're in there. I know this feels good and powerful. It's only using you. You've got to see that. Please."
The older Spider-Man held out a hand, trying to see if any sign of the good hero from Queens was still in there somewhere.
The black face peeled back. Peter stared at his older self, and he came into tears.
"I'm sorry."
He cried. knowing he'd let out his anger and pain on two who didn't deserve it.
Peter 2, not caring about the symbiote, came forth and hugged his younger self.
Peter 3, watching the entire thing and waiting for a moment to enter took his chance.
The three Spider-Men hugged, not caring that the symbiote was wrapping itself around all three of them.
There truly are many ways of mastering evil, and they'd just discovered the key to one aspect. Love.
Hercules had developed the upper hand. In Namor and Skaar's blind rage, he'd gotten the better of them. Namor was drying out, and thus became easier to overpower. He kicked him, causing the mutant to go flying backwards into a wall.
He landed blow after blow on Skaar.
Bruce (or what remained), saw his son being beaten. He was being reminded of another time. A time when he failed to stop the Mad Titan. When Thanos had defeated him. He couldn't let the same thing happen to someone so close to him.
"No! N-NOOOOO!!"
His yells became angry and threatening.
Skaar lay there, being pummeled. He tried to block the blows. His strength was failing.
Hercules stopped. He leaned in to whisper something.
"Understand something. This is entertainment. You can't overpower me. And I am going to kill you."
The demigod raised his fist, but an even bigger one flew at his face, sending him hurtling into a wall. This time, the blow was so hard the wall itself fell onto him, and he moved no more.
Skaar looked up to see his rescuer. He did not recognize him at first.
The figure was tall and green like him, but twice as muscular and he had short, greying hair. Bruce had lost control. Hulk was in charge now. He had become the Maestro.
For the first time in his life, the young Hulk uttered his first words.
"Dad."
Thor roared, throwing his hammer at Kang. He dodged, and dodged once more when it was summoned back to him.
"Do you think this is new to me?"
"I've no idea who you are, but you're reign of murder ends here, and now!"
Doctor Strange opened a portal underneath Kang, and he fell through.
Kang was falling through the mirror dimension. He casually held his hand out before him, and a blue portal opened. He jumped out and landed behind Doctor Strange.
The sorcerer turned around and tried to slice at him with a large mystical sword, but Kang blocked it with a blue force field.
He turned the force field into a net, wrapping around the sword and creating a reddish-brown explosion that enveloped Strange and made him pass out.
Thor landed forward, hitting Kang repeatedly with Mjolnir.
Before he could swing again, Kang grabbed his wrist, stopping the blow.
The god of thunder had underestimated the conqueror's strength.
Mobius was powerless and could only watch the fight. Loki was somewhat weakened from Thor's earlier attack.
"I can stop this," he said.
The god of mischief closed his eyes and concentrated. He time-slipped.
