Who wants Kaiba Brother Fluff? Bitter sweet little tidbit based after Duelist Kingdom, basically the fallout of the mental and emotional trauma suffered at the hands of Pegasus. While Seto is used to this kind of trauma courtesy of Gozaburo, poor Mokuba isn't. How does he fare?
Edit: I made three minor edits that are barley perceptible.

Seto Kaiba lay in his bed, staring at the night darkened ceiling without actually seeing it. His mind was elsewhere, mulling over what he and his brother had just been through. Much had happened over the last week or so, not much of which Seto was fully aware of. Having only just awoken from his coma not long ago, Seto didn't know the extent of the betrayal he was facing; not yet anyway. That was a matter for tomorrow, after he and Mokuba had fully rested and recovered. Unfortunately, resting wasn't something Seto was accustomed to and his night was currently restless. An unusual feeling was filing the back of his mind, a sort of anxiety he was unfamiliar with. Images of his brother would filter into his mind, images of him scared and alone, trapped in a dungeon cell, imprisoned and without help. The worst of it all, Seto having no idea his brother had been in such dire straights to begin with.
Throwing his blankets off, Seto got out of bed and put his robe on. He wasn't exactly sure why he was up, but he was so restless he had to move. He first walked to the window and stared out at the compound of his estate. Without even knowing where he was headed, he turned from the window and walked out his door, just walking and thinking. So much had happened since his battle with Yugi in Death T, so much that he was certain he'd have to do a lot of 'house cleaning' with the company. He'd have to start at the top, though, and work his way down. Corporate betrayal, possibly even more espionage, was rampant in all levels. Even a lowly janitor could be siphoning millions from his company. Underestimating people like that was what caused many companies to fall before their time and Seto didn't plan on being one of them.
A sudden noise broke Seto from his thoughts. Looking around, he realized he had made his way to Mokuba's door; the noise had come from there. Putting his ear to the door he heard a low moan, followed by a desperate plea. Confusion flowed into Seto at first, but then concern. Was Mokuba having a nightmare?
"NO! BROTHER! BROTHER, WHERE ARE YOU BROTHER!"
Seto ran into Mokuba's room, practically slamming the door open. Mokuba was fighting against his blankets, having twisted himself up, and the sheer panic on his face nearly made Seto's heart stop. He rushed to Mokuba's side and attempted to free the younger boy, but Mokuba began fighting Seto instead. Seto was forced to grab Mokuba's wrists, holding him back.
"Mokuba!" Seto spoke harshly, "Mokuba, wake up! Wake up!"
Seto's words slowly seeped into Mokuba's sleep rattled mind. The boy stopped fighting and blinked, panting slightly from exertion. "B-brother?"
Seto saw the fear in Mokuba's eyes and the teen couldn't help but frown in concern. "Yes, Mokuba, it's me. Are you okay?"
"Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?" Seto could see Mokuba was showing false bravado to put a good front in for Seto's own benefit.
"Somehow, I believe you are lying to me." At Seto's dry words Mokuba looked stung and the boy opened his mouth to protest. Seto gave the boy a stern stare, causing Mokuba to close his mouth and look down in shame. Seto felt irritation prickle the back of his mind, but he pushed it down for Mokuba's benefit.
"Mokuba, there is nothing wrong with being scared." Mokuba glanced up, confusion in his eyes. "You went through a lot while I was...asleep. I don't know what happened. I wish I did, but know this: I will always be hear for you. I promise."
Mokuba looked a little uneasy, as if he didn't fully trust what his brother was saying. Seto felt a pang in his heart, because he knew Mokuba's uncertainty was Seto's own doing. Seto had gained his step fathers view on weakness and pushed it onto Mokuba, nearly molding Mokuba the way Seto himself had been molded. It was now Seto's duty to make sure that never happens to Mokuba, to protect what innocence his brother had left.
"Mokuba, things are changing. Both in the company and with you and I. I'm...I'm sorry, Mokuba, for the way I've treated you since Gozaburo died. I realize what I've been doing and I don't want you to feel ashamed for emotions that come naturally to you. Do you understand?"
Mokuba slowly nodded, the uncertainty melting from his face and slowly replaced by chagrin. He then pitched forward, wrapping his arms around Seto and burying his face in the teens chest. Seto's face softened and he placed his hands on Mokuba's back. When he realized Mokuba was crying softly, Seto attempted to make himself comforting. As awkward as he felt, he hoped it was enough.

Okay, obviously Seto is a very calm and collected young man. Mokuba, however, is still a boy and still acts emotional, though tries to hide it. That is something I have always observed between them. On the other hand, I know how much they care about each other and I can totally seen this conversation happening. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, please leave a review of your thoughts on the matter, opinions are greatly appreciated.
