Edit: A bit of extra information. This is a paairing drabble. I would hae chosen Polarshipping, as is my favorite ship, but Kohaku has caused me to fall in love with Peachshipping, so I used this. Each sentence is a prompt for a future story I may or may not eventually elaborate on.

Valon knew that without Shizuka, he would be crucified, with Jonouchi the crucifier.
02) Hideaway
Valon had always had a hideaway of some sort no matter where he went, just in case of emergencies; he would have to make sure Shizuka knew each and everyone.
03) Anybody
Not just anybody could be worthy of Shizuka, nobody was according to her brother, but Valon was somebody unwilling to give up the fight.
04) Amazement
To Shizuka's sheer amazement neither Valon nor her brother had tried to kill each other yet.
05) Closing
The closing of one life opened the door to a new one; one he hoped to share with Shizuka.
06) Planetary
Whenever Shizuka thought of planetary bodies in relation to her loved ones she always related the sun to Katsuya with it's endlessly burning fire; she couldn't help but see this for Valon as well.

He felt like a pilgrim entering the new world, the joy and wonder of new sensations touching every fiber; it was all thanks to Shizuka.

Valon loved pranks(he was one of the best), but he would never, ever pull one on Shizuka; until the day she pulled one on him.

As Shizuka got out the antiviral she couldn't help but wonder who was more pathetic: Valon or Katsuya?

Valon didn't understand Shizuka's fascination with the ant colony until he started watching it himself.

After taking her rescuer, home Shizuka demanded to know about the elephant in the room.

Valon never understood the point of a candlelit dinner, but if that's what Shizuka wanted he would go out and buy the candles just for her.

What Shizuka and Valon did together was none of Honda or Otogi's business.

Valon felt like a complete dope standing in the flower shop, but if those are what made her happy, he'd buy all he could afford.

The moment Jonouchi mentioned the word 'bullwhip', Valon felt a need to be somewhere, anywhere else, but Shizuka's insistence her brother was only joking (not to mention the scowl directed at her brother) convinced him to stay.

Shizuka always loved going to the zoo and Valon made it even more entertaining then usual.

It was only after Valon met Shizuka that his life began to make sense.

Shizuka decided it was her goal to prove to Valon that his life wasn't devoid of good things.

Valon was positively shocked (and ecstatic) that Shizuka's choice of film was not a cheesy chick flick.

Otogi was getting more and more bold with Shizuka lately, Valon would have to get 'bold' too and 'boldly' confront him.

Valon had no plans whatsoever to visit any boutique, but Shizuka drug him along anyway.

Valon wasn't good at giving out personal secrets, but he wanted Shizuka to know everything about him.

Shizuka was in shock when she saw the twin lockets inscribed for both her and Valon respectively.

Valon hated the countryside but it suited Shizuka and if she ever decided to move there he would definitely follow.

His past was buried, his future ahead with Shizuka on the horizon.

As Valon held Shizuka in his arms he mused about how small she was; not tiny, mind you, but definitely petite.

Shizuka stepped in front of the irate Valon and sent a seething glare at Kaiba, warning him to stop calling Valon a mongrel.

Shizuka helps calm the chaos in his heart.
50) Biblical
It was a challenge of biblical proportions, but Valon was determined to make friends with Katsuya Jonouchi if only for Shizuka's sake.

I like how Biblical is the last one, it's very fitting.
Otogi and Honda never showed an interest in Shizuka in the manga, but I felt Otogi, the ladies man he is, could give Valon a bit of a complex.
