Rise up! Chosen Warriors

Many generations of Pokémon trainers have preserved the bond between humans and Pokémon. However, without kindness, cruelty will not exist. And without good, evil will not exist. Some special trainers however have been chosen by the creator of the universe itself to save the world from conflict. However, the cosmic battle continues.
A new era begins in the Pokémon world. However, an evil threat greater than the ones who have ever graced history is slowly revealing itself to continue the everlasting cosmic battle between good and evil. Five young aspiring trainers have been chosen by the creator of the universe to save the world, as a new generation starts to take shape.
Shuugo Sentai Shinkaiger
We first focus our attention to a small town located in the southwestern part of the region of Kanto. The town was rather small, however the majority of its citizens would then be shown beginning their daily routines and activities, as it was very early in the morning and the sun has just begun rising over the horizon. This was Pallet Town, home to legendary Pokémon Master Satoshi Kamishiro and Kantonian regional professor Shigeru Ohkido.
We then shift away to another part of the town, where a boy with raven-black hair, fair skin and cerulean-blue eyes was training with his Pokemon in the midst of sunrise at the corral in the professor's lab. This was Takeru Kamishiro, the son of Satoshi himself. Takeru was ordering his Pokémon to practice a few of their moves as some of them had participated in mock battles with each other. However, out in the distance nearby, he would vaguely see a silhouette of an equine creature with a long mane jutting out of its head, with two visible ears, a long neck with extrusions on its sides, and a cross-like wheel attached to its body by its own abdomen. Intrigued, the boy then ran up to where the creature was supposed to be. But, before the boy could get a close look at it, the creature's eyes glowed a bright green and red, with a circular pattern located on the creature's face also glowing green at the same time, overwhelming the boy's vision.
Seconds later, Takeru stirred awake from his sleep, being clearly overwhelmed from the light of the glowing eyes from his dream. The 17-year old boy would be rather perplexed himself.
"That's the same thing that I had in my dreams countless times.. Why the fuck does that same sequence keep appearing?" The boy said, clearly speaking to himself. After sitting there for a few minutes, the boy decided to do some stretching and prepare himself to start the day. He'd woke up pretty late than usual. Moments later, Takeru changed out of his pajamas very quickly and later dried up his face using a towel. The boy then goes downstairs, sniffing the smell of breakfast being prepared by his mother.
"Morning, Mom. Dad. Eri." Takeru said straightforwardly while making his way to the dining room. He then immediately takes his seat."
"Good morning." The voices of 3 other people in the room replied. The first one of them was a young girl, at about 15 years of age, with brown hair, fair skin, and cerulean-blue eyes, the same as Takeru. This young girl was Erina Kamishiro, Takeru's younger sister, who had already made a name for herself as a Top Coordinator. Secondly, was a woman of Kalosian heritage in her late 30s, with honey-blonde hair, fair skin, and the same cerulean-blue eyes as Takeru and Erina. This lady was Serena Kamishiro, the siblings' mother, who was previously famous for holding the title of Kalos Queen and performing since her teen years until her retirement 15 years ago. Lastly, was a man also in his late 30s like his wife. Unlike his two children, he had a tanned complexion and auburn eyes, however he does have the raven-black hair that his son Takeru had inherited from him. This man was Satoshi Kamishiro, arguably well known as the World Monarch, Champion of Kalos, Alola, Kanto and many other regions, and as the Pokémon Master.
Some of the Pokémon owned by the family also greeted him as Takeru began to eat a few moments later. His dad was known to have a huge appetite, which he had inherited, but let's just say he had some manners than his own father.
"I'm surprised you woke up later than usual, champ. After all, you even rarely wake up late like this, you know that?" Satoshi remarked.
"But it was because I had to pack up for Kalos last night, dad. I've got all of them sorted out by now. Besides, didn't you wake up late when you first became a Trainer that you got yourself Pikachu?" the 17-year old quipped, earning a laugh from the whole family and a snicker from the electric-type rodent.
"Oh, he got you there, Satoshi!" Serena replied while chuckling.
"Alright, let's get to the point here. Eri, did you pack your Poké Ball stashes yet? I already have all of my Pokémon transferred at the lab for now. I just need to call shotgun to pick them up today."
"Oui, big brother. But we wouldn't come over to Kalos until tomorrow, right?" Erina replied.
"Well of course, but I think it's good to pack up ahead of time. Mom, Dad, can you drop us off at the airport, s'il vous plaît? I'll go to Prism Tower from there to meet Citron-san briefly and stay at the Pokémon Center for the night. Eri might have other plans though, so we'll see." Takeru asked.
"I don't really mind, big brother..."
"Well then, we'll drop you two off at the airport. I'll call Citron and tell him to pick you up at the back door tomorrow. You know how harsh the Gym is if you didn't even get four badges yet." Satoshi affirmed.
"Make sure you change clothes regularly though, Takeru." Serena said.
"Mom, I'm 17. I'm confident that I can take care of myself. Besides, aren't you getting old? You're 37, for crying out loud!"
That caused the family to have a good laugh at Serena's expense.
One hour later, the 17-year old boy would later wait by the front door waiting for his friends (and also rivals) to come by before he could pick up his Pokémon at the laboratory. Just then, a boy at about the same age as Takeru with dark viridian eyes, fair skin and mahogany brown, spiky hair walked up to him. Beside him was a boy at about 16 years of age with blue-green eyes, fair skin, and black hair. The pair was Takeru's own traveling companions, Hikaru Ohkido (also Takeru's long time rival), the son of regional professor Shigeru, and Ryouma Sakuragi, a family friend of Takeru.
"Morning, Take-chan. Sorry that I forgot to tell, but I brought Ryouma here to help you pick your Pokémon up." Hikaru greeted.
"Hey there, slug. Ryou. I've been waiting for you two little fuckers since breakfast. Let's get to the point, eh? Time to go to the lab." Takeru said.
"Well, I figured I'd tag along, Takeru. After all, the both of us are going to be rivals again, right? We're going to Kalos to take on the league, anyway." Ryouma clarified.
"Let's just hope that I don't crush you after you become Champion. After all, your grandfather only became Champion for one hour before my grandfather defeated him for the title." Takeru said.
"Takeru, I have one question though. Why is Erina not with you?" Ryouma questioned.
"Eri? She decided to pass up and stay home with mom and dad. After all, she can't stand Hikaru's attitude for too long." The 17-year old answered.
"Ah, we're here. Let's just hope Dad's available."
With that, the three friends then ran up the steps leading to the laboratory.
Moments later, Hikaru went ahead and put his hand on a sensor. The sensor proceeded to scan his fingerprint before the doors to the lab opened automatically at that. Entering inside, the 17-year old boy then yelled out, catching his parents' attention.
"DAD, MOM, GET YOUR LAZY BUTT UP! It's Hikaru! I've brought Takeru and Ryouma over!" The 17-year old boy shouted while entering the lobby. As a result, Shigeru, as well as the boy's mother, perked up, noticing them.
Hikaru's mother approached the trio first-hand. She was a woman in her late 30s, with green eyes, blond hair, and fair skin. She herself was of Alolan heritage. The woman was Lillie Ohkido (neé Aether), who currently works in the Aether Foundation, holding the position of Chairwoman, inheriting the organization from her mother.
"Welcome back, Hikaru, Takeru. we've been anticipating that you would come here." Lillie greeted.
Shigeru then walked up to the trio, standing beside his wife. He was a man in his late 30s, with dark viridian eyes which his son had inherited from him, fair skin, and his hair, which was colored mahogany like his son's own and was styled to be spiky. Hikaru himself is told to be the spitting image of his father, which, owing to the resemblance, really is true.
"Hey there, my boys. And hello to you too, Ryouma. I've been expecting the three of you to come here sometime later to discuss that errand I've talked about to you, but this is earlier than I thought it would. Takeru, you can go to the corral to check on your Pokémon." Shigeru said while walking up to them.
"Thanks, Professor." Takeru said.
"Say, Takeru, why is Erina not with you?" Lillie questioned.
"She decided to not come here to the lab and preferred staying home with Mom and Dad. I'm guessing you need her with the three of us later on, Ohkido-san? We've brought over the contracts already."
"Yes. That's indeed the case." Lillie confirmed.
"Have you three signed the papers already?" Shigeru questioned.
"We have, Professor." Ryouma said.
"Very well. Takeru, Charizard and the others are waiting for you in the back door."
"Thanks, Professor. I'll go ahead then." Takeru said. The 17-year old later made his way to the corral in the lab, picking up his Pokémon while also reminding himself to call Erina later.
We then focus our attention to a castle located in the eastern parts of the Kalos region, hidden by the mountains in the area. The castle itself looked old and very decrepit, giving an ominous aura around it with its black color. We then take a look around the inside of the castle, which mainly consists of a room with a floor made of purple marble and walls made out of black bricks, accentuated with red banners hung all over it. Two thrones was present in that same room, with the walls behind it displaying the ominous symbol of a stylized, creepy eye in the shape of an S. This wasn't just an ordinary castle; this was home to the organization, M.Y.T.H.O.S.
M.Y.T.H.O.S was a terrorist organization which was formed a few decades after Team Rocket's nefarious schemes was thwarted with help from regional champions from all across the globe, with some of its founders and higher ranking members having ties to Team Rocket, Teams Magma and Aqua, Team Galactic, Team Plasma, and Team Flare in some form or another. In order to prevent the government from interfering with their plans however, the organization has begun to influence some regional governments all over the world. M.Y.T.H.O.S was also notorious, due to the fact that the scientists working for the organization would perform surgical alterations and illegal human experimentation to its members, combining their cyborgs with Pokémon DNA to create many living weapons. The organization was also known to be ruthless and merciless as they would most often attempt to kidnap prominent scientists or ordinary people and force them to work for M.Y.T.H.O.S as slaves, killing them if they attempted to defect from the organization or if they were deemed unfit for the organization itself.
Just then, a woman wearing long, pleated robes and a headdress resembling a crown walked into the room of the castle, approaching the two thrones, taking the one situated to the right in the room. The woman was a high-ranking member of M.Y.T.H.O.S, usually called by the alias Hera. Hera then sat down on the throne, calling the other high-ranking generals and the organization's cyborg soldiers.
"Please gather around, my soldiers and generals. I hereby request your presence!" Hera ordered.
"Your Imperial Majesty, Prince Apollo, your war hero and best general, has a message to confer upon you." A soldier said to Hera while kneeling. The soldier was clad entirely in black, save for two eyeholes, but he additionally wore a red robe that went up to his thighs. He was also protected with gold armor and a helmet.
"Very well. Let him enter the court." Hera said to the soldier."Your Imperial Majesty, Empress Hera. I, Prince Apollo, has plotted a new plan to begin the invasion of the Earth against humanity and Pokémon. The pieces of technology that we have acquired from them have been proven to be beneficial, and I recommend that we utilize the technology to our advantage. After all, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Zeus does not want the invasion to fail miserably." Apollo explained.
"Oh? And what is exactly the plan, if I may ask?"
"The plan is to extract the power of a Pokémon into the piece of technology that we have gotten from the raid a few months ago. We have recently began kidnapping slaves and we have found that a few of them are suitable for modification into a cyborg. This will be our first of hopefully, many Inhumanoids. As per the will of His Imperial Majesty, these Inhumanoids shall receive his blessing to wreck the whole planet into chaos." Apollo said.
Hera then let out a small, ominous giggle, grinning wickedly.
"Very well, Apollo. Proceed with the plan. Humanity will never try to oppose us." But little did Hera know, her organization was about to face opposition in the worst way possible.
Pallet Town Pokémon Research Lab, Kanto
Takeru had picked up his selection of Pokémon a few hours ago while M.Y.T.H.O.S was plotting their evil machinations, and he has already called over his sister, Erina to come over to the lab. There, Shigeru then called the quartet over for some important matters.
"So, Professor, If I may ask, what is the matter that you want to discuss with us?" The 15-year old girl asked with a curious tone.
"Okay, let's get straight to the point, shall we? Takeru, Ryouma, Erina, have you three signed the contract that the Aether Foundation sent you earlier?" Shigeru asked.
"Yes, our parents have also signed it, Professor." Ryouma said, with Takeru and the others nodding. Hikaru however, had his paperwork already signed, so he didn't join the conversation.
"Very well. Follow me, we have something, or some place, I'd rather, to show you." Shigeru said. With that, the group made their way out of the laboratory.
A few hours later, Shigeru and Lillie had driven the Kanto natives over to Saffron City, before pulling up to a large, mechanical building, with it being the main headquarters of the Aether Foundation's elite tactical unit. The group then got out of their car, walking in through the gates surrounding the area.
"Welcome to the Guardia Base. This will be your future headquarters working for the Aether Foundation's elite unit. We will explain it later." Lillie said. The group then entered the base, with Ryouma being mesmerized at the sheer scale of the building. The group later made their way out of the lobby and up to one of the hallways. They then entered a room, which was accessed via a set of automatic doors. The group later took a look around, seeing five weapons placed on in special display cases, before Shigeru later told the four trainers the reason that they were brought into the base.
"Takeru, Ryouma, Erina. The reason that we have brought you here with Hikaru is because you were chosen to become a member of Aether Foundation's elite tactical unit." The Kantonian regional professor explained.
"We have detected that an evil organization named M.Y.T.H.O.S are prepared to begin an invasion and an all-out attack against humanity and Pokémon. They have stolen some of our technologies in the past during a raid and are intending to use it for malicious purposes. M.Y.T.H.O.S is an organization far worse than the evil teams that your parents and I once encountered that even the police are not able to stop them. With approval from the governments from all 8 major regions, the Aether Foundation has begun secretly developing a counterattack to hopefully put an end to their malicious schemes." Lillie continued.
"As a result of that, we have sent you the papers containing the contracts that you and your parents needed to sign earlier. With those papers having been signed, you four are now official members of Shuugo Sentai Shinkaiger, the world's best chance of fighting off an organization of their caliber. However, participating in the team itself unfortunately will cost you a price." Shigeru closed.
"We'll be willing to take that risk, Professor. We are the world's last hope, after all." Takeru affirmed after a bit of consideration. The other two that wasn't well informed about the risks just nodded.
"Well, the price is that, you will have to be put through surgery to replace some of your body parts with cybernetic ones. Will you be willing to give up more than 50% of your human bodies to fight them off?" Lillie asked. Her tone of voice indicated that she wasn't playing around and that this is a serious matter.
"I'll be willing to take that risk, Professor. I'm willing to be converted into a cyborg, even if it's irreversible. I have my reasons." Takeru said.
"Big brother, if I can support you or fight alongside you, then I'll be willing to take it. After all, I'm your younger sister and I need to support my own older brother." Erina affirmed.
"Professor, I'm also willing to take the risks. I have a few things that I owe Takeru with, and I feel obligated to help him anyway. But what about you, Hikaru?" Ryouma said, before questioning the 17-year old who was 3 months younger than Takeru.
"I already accepted a long time ago, shotgun. Well then, Mom, Dad, we're all in."
"Very well. We'll meet you later on at the Guardia Base's operating room. Feel free to make yourself at home, this is your future base of operations, anyways." Shigeru said. However, M.Y.T.H.O.S themselves was already up to no good, as back in their hideout at the same time, Apollo was overseeing a figure lying down on an operating table, covered in corrosive, blue foam.
Olympus Castle, Kalos
Inside the Olympus Castle, which was M.Y.T.H.O.S' secret hideout, Apollo was still overseeing the conversion process of a figure in his operating table, which was right now still covered in corrosive foam. A few moments later, the foam would then dissipate, revealing the figure of a humanoid spider-like monster. This was the Spider Inhumanoid, the first one of its kind, created by Apollo combining the DNA of an Araquanid with a slave which was illegally modified into a cyborg and later brainwashed to do the organization's bidding. The Inhumanoid then woke up.
"Ḭ̷́̀ ̷̛͔͚f̶̠̈̚e̶̳̐ë̷͖͓l̶͚̀̿ ̵̼̊v̴̰͒̐e̶͔͓̓r̵̫̒y̴̺̌̒ ̶̼͊́p̸̜̱̑ǫ̶͎̅w̵̼̅̾ĕ̴̞̋r̴̫̋̕f̴̗́̌ȕ̴͍̥̓l̵͓̀ ̶̛̞́a̶̢͍̽̽l̸̝͙͊l̸͉̖͂͝ ̴̛͍͓o̶̖͝f̷̹̝̒ ̷̘̓̈a̷̲͘ ̶̣̉̂ș̶͊͊u̴͙̾̓d̵̳̆d̷̟̋e̷͙͊͋n̸̨̛.̸̧̱̐͋" The spider monster said.
"Did you like the extra strength of power that we have given you? Also, you can look at the mirror to see your new form." Apollo said

"Very well, then. From this day on, you will be known as the Spider Inhumanoid, and you shall work under my command now that you have pledged your allegiance to His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Zeus. I will begin my report to Empress Hera shortly." Apollo said.
With that, Apollo made his way back into the court.
Guardia Base Kanto, Saffron City, Kanto
"Code Red, Black, Blue, and Pink. The cyborg conversion surgery is to be commenced in a few minutes. Please prepare yourselves immediately." A voice spoke through the speakers installed in the location, with it being easily identifiable as Shigeru's own. Takeru, Ryouma, Hikaru and Erina later made their way to the operating room, walking while bracing themselves for what was about to happen.
Their parents, Satoshi and Serena, as well as Goh and Koharu respectively, attended the surgery to support their children, having known of the operation via Shigeru informing them. The Kantonian regional professor was there with Lillie to oversee the operation, with a microphone in front of him. Lillie was also seated near another microphone beside Shigeru to carry out orders.
Later, each of them was seen laying down in 4 operating tables, with the organization's technicians currently preparing their machines. All four of them had already taken some sleep pills for the cyborg conversion process to go smoothly a few minutes after they had entered the room.
"All set. Begin the conversion." Lillie said through the microphone, her voice being relayed out to the speakers in the room. Seconds later, 5 automated machines would then be activated. The machines would then prepare their bodies for conversion into a cyborg, first scanning their vitals before dissecting them and amputating some of their limbs for the next stage of the process. Fortunately, no pain was felt. Shigeru was reassuring Satoshi and Goh that the operation would go well, while Lillie gave Serena and Koharu pats in the back.
The four young trainers would then have their bodies covered up in surgical blankets while the machines then prepare some cybernetic hardware. The parts are then carefully implanted into the trainers' bodies before the robotic machines continue performing their work on the Shinkaiger candidates. Soon enough, the operation is then completed, much to the relief of their parents. Fortunately, Satoshi, Shigeru and Goh were able to put their children onto moveable beds for them to be transferred into separate rooms for privacy. As a result, Satoshi and Serena stayed with Takeru and Erina respectively, while Goh and Koharu stayed with Ryouma. As for Hikaru though, only Lillie was able to stay with him in his room due to Shigeru having work to do, even though he had wanted to look after his son.
Hours later, Takeru woke up first. The boy however didn't remember himself being placed on a bed upon waking up. Someone must've carried him over here.
Fortunately, Satoshi saw him wake up. He would then proceed to go get and inform Serena.
"Takeru?" Serena called. She was walking up to her now-cyborg son, Satoshi holding her hand. Her Delphox was there, along with Satoshi's Pikachu who was on his shoulder.
"M-Mom? Dad? Am I...?" Takeru asked.
"Yes, champ. You're no longer human. In your body, at least. We're proud that you were able to take the pain and be so brave, back there." Satoshi said, comforting his son.
"But are you both okay with me and Eri being cyborgs, though? I don't want to be an outcast in the family or anything... The 17-year old boy replied in worry.
"Don't be so pessimistic like that, Takeru. I'm sure Uncle Calem and Aunt Sana would be okay with it if they know your situation." Serena said.
"Mom..."
"Erina and the others haven't woken up yet. You can meet them later, champ. But I suggest that right now, you take some rest." Satoshi said.
"Thanks, Dad." Takeru said. With that, the two parents left the room, giving their son some privacy while they were waiting for their daughter to wake up.
Olympus Castle, Kalos
"You've completed the first phase of the plan?" Hera inquired from her throne.
"Yes, Your Majesty. Spider Inhumanoid's initial conversion has been done. I suggest we begin our first attack on the Kanto Power Plant. When we eventually begin the destruction of the Power Plant with Spider Inhumanoid's corrosive acids, Kanto will be left with no electricity. Humans will descend into chaos. We will try and kidnap any Electric-type Pokémon trying to recharge the region, and we will inject them with rubber. They will be worthless. This will be the first introduction of M.Y.T.H.O.S' Inhumanoids to the world." Apollo explained.
"Very well then. Proceed." Hera ordered.
The next day, workers at the Kanto Power Plant in Vermilion City was doing their own usual business, with some workers being outside to make sure that the city gets its fair share of electricity. However, one of the workers there suddenly spotted one bizarre thing.
"Hey, what's that thing up in the sky!?" asked the worker, clearly alarmed. Sure enough, a large castle made out of black bricks with purple banners displaying the creepy eye symbol of M.Y.T.H.O.S was seen floating in the air. This wasn't just an ordinary castle, it was the secret hideout of the organization, the Olympus Castle, and it all along was merely a flying fortress. The worker, along with a few of his comrades, then ran off to report the occurrence to the other workers, but a few seconds later, the Olympus Castle fired off explosives from its turrets to the power plant, carpet-bombing the area and fatally killing or injuring some of the workers there. A journalist was fortunately there to report the news of the bombing without being targeted by the organization themselves.
The news spread like wildfire, and Shigeru, who was currently taking a break from his paperwork as regional professor in his lab at Pallet Town, was surprised after hearing information of the attack. He immediately went on to inform Lillie before calling the four cyborgs from his team.
Sure enough, the four cyborgs and the couple was in the Guardia Base in a matter of minutes, with Shigeru currently catching the quartet up to speed.
"They're on the move again. We should immediately fight back before they go out farther into the city and start doing collateral damage." Shigeru said.
"Hold on a minute, Ryouma, isn't that where the Sakuragi Laboratory is located?" Erina asked.
"...Shit, you're right! My parents are probably going to be in danger!" The 16-year old exclaimed in realization.
"Well, what the fuck are we waiting for? Let's try to go to Vermilion City!" Takeru retorted.
"But we don't have any transportation! How the hell are we going to go there!?" Hikaru replied back.
"We have transportation, Hikaru. That should be able to go to Vermilion City fast enough." Lillie said in response to her son's statement.
"But where?" Erina questioned, with the 15-year old visibly tilting her head in confusion.
"We've modified your Rotom Phones so that they could also act as a means of transportation as well as a two-in-one gadget." Shigeru explained. Lillie then handed out four heavily modified Rotom Phones to the quartet.
"Don't worry, we've kept your personal information and phone contacts untouched during modification. You just need to go outside the base and change the phone into a motorbike. You better turn the phone on first." Lillie said.
AETHER U-PHONE!
Sure enough, minutes later, the four cyborgs would already be outside the Guardia Base. However, Takeru then stepped forward before taking out a medal-like device. He then inserts it into a hollow slot at the back of the phone, popping out a wheel from its hiding spot. The 17-year old boy then simply throws the phone to the air. The phone's screen then folds up in itself, revealing the back wheel of the motorbike, before the phone unclips its back section and reattaches it again to the side.
BIKE CHANGE!
The motorbike's front wheel then folds itself down before the handlebars turn around 90 degrees, facing towards the road in front of it, completing the transformation.
EVOLSTRIKER!
Shigeru and Lillie's faces paled once they saw this on the room's monitor. The couple didn't expect that to happen.
"Holy fuck! How did you know that, Takeru!?" Hikaru asked, flabbergasted.
"Takeru, I wasn't expecting you to know how it works immediately! How did you know that?" Shigeru said from the Aether U-Phones of the remaining trio.
"Just a hunch, guys. Juuuust a hunch." The 17-year old boy in question replied.
"Okay...? I guess we should follow suit." Ryouma said.
"You just need to follow what Takeru just did and change the phone modes. You can still communicate with me and Shigeru through the screen where the speedometer is supposed to be." Lillie simply said.
"Okay, then, thanks for the tips, Ohkido-san." Erina ended.
With that, the other cyborgs later changed their U-Phones into the EvolStriker, and rode off to Vermilion City from Route 6. Along the way, Erina, Ryouma and Hikaru then pressed on an app via touchscreen; a helmet later materializes in their heads. Soon enough, the quartet would then reach Vermilion City.
Vermilion City was in a state of utter chaos. With the Power Plant having been carpet-bombed, the city had no electricity whatsoever. The Pokémon Center was having severe malfunctions. The Gym didn't even have any lights on at all; and the Sakuragi Laboratory had a massive blackout. Most of the citizens there didn't know the Power Plant was almost destroyed, so they naturally went on out to investigate, only to be attacked by Spider Inhumanoid himself; he had disembarked from the Olympus Castle after the bombing to bring even more destruction to the power plant before moving on to the city center. People there tried to run away and evacuate, with the city's local authorities trying to fight the spider monster back. However, they were mostly killed by a deadly version of the move Liquidation, using the Araquanid-based monster's highly corrosive foam.

However, he didn't notice the quartet and their EvolStrikers coming close to the area. Ryouma later took a good look at the monster as he was getting closer to the city entrance.
"Wait, what the fuck is that thing?" The 16-year old asked.
"Just as I expected. They used the technology that they've stolen from us to make cyborg monsters." Shigeru said through the motorbike screens.
"This one seems to particularly resemble an Araquanid. Perhaps they've began combining Pokémon traits into their cyborg minions?" Takeru recalled.
"To be fair, you do have a point." Lillie summed up.
"Have you practiced using your weapons? It might be sufficient for now if you use it to catch the monster's attention." Shigeru said.
"On it, Professor / Dad."
The quartet would then begin attracting the monster's attention. Ryouma would take out his weapon, a black and gold gun, before shooting the paved road with it, causing warning shot marks to be visible on the charred pavement, caused by the laser projectile.
Takeru would take out his weapon of choice, a red and gold sword, and begin slashing the monster to no end, dealing mediocre damage. The duo would then put their respective weapons in their holsters / sheaths before pulling up their motorbikes, changing it back to their phone modes, and revealing themselves.

"The one who attacked you is us, you wretched M.Y.T.H.O.S monster!" Takeru declared.

The spider monster later began attacking the quartet, however they would effortlessly dodge the corrosive projectiles that the monster would spew out. Takeru and Ryouma then take out their weapons again before attacking Spider Inhumanoid. Hikaru would then get close and take out his own weapon; a blue and gold jutte. Erina would then begin taking out her own weapon, a pink and gold rapier. Out of all of them, Takeru was the most experienced one out of the team, as he had been practicing kenjutsu, and thus making his swordsmanship in the level or caliber of an expert. Erina however was making swordfighting look like an art, graciously incorporating dance moves into her attacks. Hikaru was an avid juttejutsu practitioner and thus had a bit of experience using the weapon, attacking and blocking Spider Inhumanoid at the same time. Ryouma was constantly rapid firing his gun, refilling it with ammunition if needed. His lasers were able to deal major damage due to all of the other attacks.

In a matter of seconds, a platoon of the same black-clad armor-wearing soldiers would appear on the monster's request. They then would begin attacking the quartet.
"They've got mooks!?" Ryouma exclaimed.
"Probably. Let's just finish them off for now!" Takeru said in a rush. The four of them would again gain the upper hand because the Hoplites were rather easy to defeat for a cyborg. However, Spider Inhumanoid later began firing projectiles in fury.
Takeru then avoided one of Spider Inhumanoid's projectiles with a backflip before slashing the pavement around him, creating a fire, preventing his friends or Spider Inhumanoid and his mooks for that matter from interrupting him. The 17-year old boy then felt a gust of wind blow through his face, making his hair flutter in the wind. His right cheek then begins having red, vein-like cracks running from the eye all the way to the the cheekbone, as his right eye also begins to glow red.
Surrounded by the fire, Takeru then begins performing a series of hand motions, causing a gold, intricate bracelet to appear, implanted seamlessly with his left hand. The bracelet had a button at the top and a flat bottom in order to provide comfort while holding the device itself. The bracelet was also decorated with five colors; red, yellow, black, blue and pink. Above that though was the most prominent feature; a black, circular-shaped slot implemented in the middle of the bracelet, covered by a clear, glass lid. This was the EvolBracelet, Takeru and his teammates' transformation device.
Takeru then takes out a gray, plain medal-like device, before the medal siphons the still-burning fire, sucking the flames to itself. The power gathered by the medal from the fire was more than enough to cause a reaction, as the medal glowed, then turned red, with gold accents and a clear, gold symbol reminiscent of a hawk's face.
The 17-year old boy then opens the clear, glass lid covering the circular slot, and then inserts the red medal into it. It turned out to be a snug fit, and with one swipe of his right hand, he closes the lid shut.
TALONFLAME!
In an instant, some music would then play in a loop from the gold brace, as a red and gold, burning Talonflame appears in the sky, screeching. Takeru performs a pose by first bringing his right arm backward and his left, with the bracelet, at the front, before swinging his arms, in a way that his right hand is now placed at the button of the bracelet. With a determined face, he then begins saying a code phrase.
"Spark Change!" He proclaimed. He then presses down on the top button using the palm of his right hand. And he would also press it down, hard.
CHANGE, SHINKAIGER!
Majestic and powerful music then begins playing from the bracelet with that declaration. Flames appear surrounding the 17-year old, before the fire would then begin to spread to his leg and engulf his entire body in seconds. The flames extinguish themselves, revealing Takeru to be covered in an entirely red suit with flame-like markings and three stripes similar to a Talonflame's tail in gold, with a white collar and completed with red boots, which has gold soles, and red gloves with gold cuffs near his hands and gold accents. Armor pieces then appear, before the pieces attach themselves to Takeru's body, covering much of his upper torso and shoulders, equipped with red shoulder pads. On the boy's waist was a belt with a rectangular case on his right hip to hold more medals and a scabbard in his left hip to act as a holster for his sword. His belt also had a black buckle with one red stripe and a square Poké Ball design.
TALONFLAME!
The Talonflame then nosedives towards Takeru's head before spinning around him, forming the helmet, which looked similar to the head of a Talonflame, with an open beak as the helmet's visor. The flames surrounding Takeru then explodes, burning the surrounding area.
Standing in Takeru Kamishiro's place was the first of the five members of the Shinkaiger team; Shinkai Red.
Back at base, Shigeru and Lillie's faces looked surprised due to Takeru managing to transform into Shinkai Red without any instructions whatsoever. The other team members were also surprised to see Takeru, now as Shinkai Red, but they managed to recover from the shock quickly. The couple was beyond perplexed on how Takeru managed to know how their technology works despite not having been instructed on how to use it properly.
Vermilion City
"W̸̮̹̋h̷̝͆o̷̦͂ ̸͙̓a̴̩̼͆ȑ̶̹͕͌é̶͈͔̈́ ̷̰̽y̸̯̗̐̀ö̸̙̖́̑u̷̖̽͝!̴͇̈̀?̷͍͗" Spider Inhumanoid said, having witnessed Shinkai Red's transformation.
Takeru, now known as Shinkai Red, in response, just snapped his fingers.
"I am the Warrior of Fire, Shinkai Red!" The red warrior answered after snapping his fingers.
"Whuh!? W-what!? Take-chan, how did you manage to transform into Shinkai Red!? You haven't even received instructions from Mom and Dad yet!" Hikaru said, clearly in shock and surprise.
"I'll explain later, but for now, you three go ahead and transform! I'll hold off these fuckers for the time being!" Takeru ordered. Even when behind a helmet, his authoritative tone of voice was still noticeable."
""H̴̨̀o̷͗ͅp̴̭͆̔l̸̥̭̈́ḯ̶̘͈̔t̸̘͝è̵͓͝ ̴̘̩͛͑S̸̝̩̽o̸͚̍́l̵̤̘̋͠d̵͙́i̷̼̭͌e̴̥͈͝ŗ̸͂s̶̮͋!̸̰͈͌" The spider-monster exclaimed, requesting assistance from yet another platoon of his mooks. Fortunately, Shinkai Red had the upper hand against the soldiers, easily incinerating them with his fire powers.
On Takeru's orders, Hikaru, Ryouma and Erina would go on to a safer place to prevent any interference from Spider Inhumanoid and his mooks, not that it matters anyway since they were being attacked by the red warrior.
Like Takeru before them, the three cyborgs would proceed to do a series of hand motions, causing the EvolBracelet to appear, implanted in their left hands. The three cyborgs then begin taking out the gray, plain medal from before, holding it in their hands briefly to channel the power of their Pokémon. Hikaru's medal was blue and with a symbol resembling the overhead view of a shark, but it had the same gold accents in the medal. Ryouma's medal was black, and its symbol resembles the overhead view of a rabbit, colored in gold and with the same gold accents, making both colors pop out. Erina's medal was pink, and it had the same overhead view of a rabbit, but it was made to look more feminine compared to Ryouma's medal. Like all of the others, the medal had the same gold accents. These medal-like devices used by the Shinkaigers are the EvolMedals, devices that use the power of a Pokémon which were developed by the Aether Foundation under the direction of Lillie.
Hikaru then opens the bracelet's clear, glass lid, inserting his blue medal into the circular slot before closing the lid shut, following what his long-time rival had done.
SHARPEDO!
Like before, the bracelet started playing music in a loop, as the 17-year old performs the same pose as his rival did while a blue and gold Sharpedo with visible splashes of water leaps around him.
Ryouma himself would do the same thing, opening the bracelet's lid and inserting his black medal into the circular slot before closing it shut.
UMBREON!
The bracelet would then play its music loop before the 16-year old does the same pose that Takeru and Hikaru did, ready to press the bracelet at any time, all the while a black and gold Umbreon with a black smoke trail begins running around him.
Lastly, Erina would then open the bracelet's clear lid, inserting her pink medal into the slot before closing it.
SYLVEON!
As the bracelet plays its music loop, the 15-year old girl then does the same pose that his friends and older brother had previously done, as a pink Sylveon begins elegantly dancing around her, with little fairies visible.
"Spark Change!" The three proclaimed in unison, before pressing down on their bracelets' buttons.
CHANGE, SHINKAIGER!
The bracelet's majestic music then begins playing almost immediately. A pillar of black smoke surrounds Ryouma before it completely hides his body. Before long, the smoke dissipates, revealing the 16-year old to be decked in an entirely black suit similar to Takeru's; with a white collar, black boots, which has gold soles and gold rings like an Umbreon, and black gloves with gold rings and cuffs near his hands and gold accents. Armor pieces then appear, before the pieces attach themselves to Ryouma's body, covering much of his upper torso and shoulders, equipped with black shoulder pads. On the boy's waist was the same silver belt as Takeru's, with a rectangular case on his right hip and a holster for his laser gun. His belt also had the same black buckle with the square Poké Ball design, with the only difference being the three black stripes on the belt.
UMBREON!
The Umbreon then spins around him before leaping up to his head, forming the helmet, which was similar to the head of an Umbreon, complete with the ears and the gold ring on the forehead. The open mouth of the helmet acts as a visor. Ryouma Sakuragi has now successfully transformed into Shinkai Black, the third one of the five-member team.
CHANGE, SHINKAIGER!
Once again, the bracelet then begins playing its powerful yet majestic music. A pillar of water surrounds Hikaru before it completely conceals his body in a matter of seconds. Before long, the water would then evaporate, revealing Hikaru to be outfitted in an entirely blue suit with a white collar and blue boots, which had gold soles, and blue gloves with gold cuffs near his hands and gold accents. Armor pieces then appear, before the pieces attach themselves to the 17-year old's body, covering much of his upper torso and shoulders, equipped with blue shoulder pads. On his waist was the same belt as the others had, with the same rectangular case on his right hip and a scabbard to act as a holster for his jutte. His belt also had the same black buckle with the square Poké Ball design like the others do, with the only difference being the four blue stripes on the belt.
SHARPEDO!
The Sharpedo then leaps up to the air before spinning near Hikaru's head, forming the helmet, which had an obvious similarity to Sharpedo with its dorsal fin at the very top and two pairs of pectoral fins at the sides of the helmet, as well as gill slits near the "eyes" of the helmet. The shark jaw again acts as the visor. This was Shinkai Blue, Hikaru's alter ego and the fourth member of the team.
CHANGE, SHINKAIGER!
The majestic and powerful music would then immediately play soon after, resounding itself like the others before. A pillar of pink whirlwind surrounds Erina before it would completely obscure the view of her body. The whirlwind then would dissipate, revealing the 15-year old girl to be clad in an entirely pink suit similar to her brother's own, with a white collar, pink gloves and boots with gold soles at her boots, gold cuffs near her hands, gold accents, two blue ribbons, and a pink skirt complete with gold accents. Unlike her brother and most of her teammates who was already transformed at the same time, the suit was very tight-fitting on her developing curves. Armor pieces would then appear around her, before the pieces attach themselves to the 15-year old girl's body, covering much of her upper torso and shoulders, equipped with pink shoulder pads. On her waist was the same belt that the others had, with the same rectangular case on her right hip like what the others previously had and a scabbard to act as a holster for her rapier. Her belt also had the same black buckle with the square Poké Ball design like the others do, with the only difference being the five pink stripes on the belt.

The Sylveon then spins around her before leaping up to her head, forming the helmet, which was similar to the head of a Sylveon, complete with the ears and the bow on the forehead, with the open mouth of the helmet acting as a visor.
Like her brother, Erina had successfully transformed into Shinkai Pink, the fifth member of the Shinkaigers.
Back at base, Shigeru and Lillie were both smiling and was also giving back pats, as the Shinkaiger members had successfully transformed, even though they were one member short.
"Great job, everyone! This was what me and Lillie have been waiting for. Now, I think you have to give some help to Takeru, because he's practically overwhelmed." Shigeru said through their U-Phones.
"We'll help guide you on how to properly execute a finishing blow with your weapons along the way later. Now, go ahead!" Lillie added.
With that, the three cyborgs then readied their weapons.
EVOLGUN!
EVOLROD!
EVOLRAPIER!
"Hold on, Take-chan! We've got your back!" Hikaru yelled, notifying his teammate.
With that, Takeru also readied his own sword.
EVOLBLADE!
The four Shinkaigers then began ganging up on Spider Inhumanoid and his minions. Takeru had used both his sword and his own body to attack the M.Y.T.H.O.S forces, with him having previously practiced kenjutsu and karate, thus explaining his proficiency. Ryouma acted more like a sniper, using his EvolGun with proficiency while also avoiding enemy attacks. Hikaru used a more versatile approach, attacking and blocking enemies with his jutte. Erina, again, was more elegant in her attacks, incorporating dance moves and elegant leaps akin to a ballerina. She would also make fighting look like an art, making the other teammates mesmerized at her proficiency.
However, while tearing through the many Hoplite Soldiers, Takeru would then hear voices in his head, but he would instead set it aside so as to not get distracted.
"Am... and you... me!"
However, the Hoplite Soldiers would then take out their preferred weapons of choice; a spear and a shield. This proved to be difficult, however the Shinkaigers tore them like there was no tomorrow, owing to the soldiers being easy to beat.
"I... you,... are..."
Ryouma then begins gunning down most of the Hoplite Soldiers surrounding him, as Hikaru attacked the soldiers without mercy. Erina was able to kill more than half of the soldiers though. Soon enough, the reinforcements that was sent by Spider Inhumanoid were practically gone.
"D̶̮̲̈́a̶̢͔͋m̸̭̹͝n̴̮̒ ̶̖͑̄y̶̨̧̍o̵̳̐̿͜ú̴͍!̶̛̜̈ ̷̠̔W̵̬̏̽h̷̢̓̀o̸̤̮̓͌ ̷̩̂̍t̵͓̄̈́r̸͓͋͛ú̵̧̚l̸̞̰̄y̶̺͑̆ ̴̣̋͐ȧ̷̺̬r̵̼͋͑e̵͍̓ ̸͚̋͒y̵̗̽͝ŏ̴̺û̴̗͔ ̵̖̄̈f̴̧̩̿o̴̳͆ù̵͎r̷͙̮̋͑!̵͉̭̊͘" The spider monster said in anger and disbelief.
"I've already told you my name, Spider Inhumanoid. But I think it's time we give you a proper introduction." Takeru said.
Takeru then simply snapped his fingers for the second time. "Shinkai Red."
Ryouma then proceeded to follow suit, also snapping his fingers. "Shinkai Black!"
Hikaru then followed. "Shinkai Blue!"
Erina then lastly snapped her fingers. "Shinkai Pink."
"Shuugo Sentai Shinkaiger!" The four said in unison.
"S̶͉̋̃h̸̨̰͌ĩ̸̬ṉ̷̿k̸̦̖͌á̷̻̔i̸̪̜̒g̴̳̈́e̵̟̔̐ȓ̷̙̳̐!̷̛̤̞͆?̸̪͐͝ͅ" The monster said, utterly being confused and flabbergasted at the same time.
"Heh. Before long, M.Y.T.H.O.S will never forget our names. Well then... Let's start the fight!" Takeru said.
For the second time, now unified as a full team, the Shinkaigers charged into battle. Spider Inhumanoid again called out reinforcement Hoplite Soldiers.
"G̷͉̤̊̎ë̴͙̱́̓t̸̻̰͆͌ ̴̛̹̜t̶̖̟͑̕h̴̟̠̑̉ẹ̸̜̈́m̷͔̍͗,̶̛̦ ̶̠̆̈͜m̴̩͝y̵̠̑̐ ̵̛̥̦̿š̵̹́ó̶̢l̶͍̉͆͜d̵̜̎i̷̠͗ë̴̱r̴̟̩͂͂ṡ̵̳̼́!̷̺̈́"
However, to the monster's dismay, they were easily beaten by the team.
Then, the team received direct communications from Shigeru and Lillie via their U-Phones.
"Takeru, Ryouma, Hikaru, Erina! Remove your medals from your bracelet, insert it to your weapons, press down your weapons' triggers to initiate finishing blows, then press it again to attack!" Lillie ordered.
By that time, Spider Inhumanoid was backed into a corner. Having heard of the communications, Takeru then sharpens the EvolBlade, running his palm around the sharp edge of the blade itself.
"Spider Inhumanoid, it's over for you now!" He declared.
"Y̷̨̓̏ŏ̵̪̥̈ų̶̧͝ ̴̡̺̐́f̵̮̅͠o̶̻͍͐ö̴̺́l̵͇͊̕͜s̵̯̀̍!̶̛̜̜̑ ̶̗̒̈́T̸̺̭͋̀a̴͇̐̍k̷̠͗e̷͍̐̚ ̶͍̓͜t̶̡̄h̸͚͒i̶̤̦͌͝s̷̤͎̉͌ ̵͓͘a̷͖͔͊̔l̶̞͓̿͠ṟ̵͒ë̴̞́̈́a̵͉̿d̵̥̊̔ẙ̷̭̊!̸̘̟͠" Spider Inhumanoid said, firing off his corrosive projectiles. However, the team easily dodged and batted it away.
"Everyone, go for it!" The red warrior ordered, inserting his medal pressing down on his sword's trigger.
FINISHING BLOW!
Takeru then went into a battle stance, with him getting ready for an attack using his sword.
"Kaen Suiheizan!" (Flame Horizontal Slash!)
Takeru then pressed the trigger again, before conjuring a horizontal slash made out of flames directed to the spider cyborg.
TALONFLAME! ONE STRIKE SLASH! FIRE!
Ryouma decided to follow his orders, pressing the trigger.
FINISHING BLOW!
Ryouma then readies himself for an attack, using his gun like he was about to shoot a target.
"Umbra Full Blast Charge!"
Ryouma then subsequently presses the trigger, firing off a large laser projectile.
UMBREON! ONE STRIKE SHOOT! DARKNESS!
Obeying Takeru's orders, Hikaru takes up a battle stance, inserting his medal and pressing the trigger.
FINISHING BLOW!
He then begins posing, using his jutte like he was about to attack someone.
"Hoʻouka Kaua ʻĀhiu Wai!" (Water Whirlpool Stab Attack!)
He then successfully conjures a horizontal slash, while pressing the trigger for the second time.
SHARPEDO! ONE STRIKE STAB! WATER!
Lastly, Erina then obeys her brother's orders. She inserts her medal into the slot before pressing the trigger.
FINISHING BLOW!
The 15-year old pink warrior then jumps up in the air as her fairy wings unfurl. She then proceeds to use her rapier.
"Fée Dansant Sabrer! (Fairy Dancing Slash!)
She then proceeds to deliver a 360 slash.
SYLVEON! ONE STRIKE SLASH! FAIRY!
All four attacks then goes to the same trajectory, combining altogether into one single attack before subsequently hitting the spider-based cyborg.
In his last breath, Spider Inhumanoid later tries standing up, which he ultimately does.
"M̶͎̣̎̏ỹ̸̢̻ ̷̥́t̶͍͒͝i̵̪͎͐̓m̴̮̲̄ȅ̶͇̍.̴̣̥̅͘.̸̛̜͈͝.̴͈͋ ̵̠̏̕Ḧ̵̦́ͅả̵͎̯̏s̸̼͐ ̶̱̀c̸̻̎o̶̻̐m̷͙̔e̶̗̔̀ ̷̭̞̾t̶̬̙́̾ò̷͍ ̸̭̕͠a̶̙̹͝ṋ̸̽ ̵͙̆͋ḙ̴͂n̶̡͌ḏ̸̱̾.̷̼̽.̵̼̦̉͝.̸̠̻̅ ̷͎̑̆L̵̘̎̚ò̷̦̃ṉ̴͆͝g̸͔̦̈ ̶͙͉̀͑l̸̮͚̉i̵͍̦̓v̶̖̠̏e̷̩͗̉.̴̧̿.̸̢̲́͛.̷̧̅̋ ̸͙̆͠E̵̲̐m̸̘̑̐p̷͚̈̏e̸̼̗̚͘r̵̙̆͜ȏ̸̼̪r̶̦̫͛͠ ̶̗̌Z̵͔̪̃e̷͖͒ủ̸̱͚͊s̵̳͂!̵̙̃" The spider monster said. The monster however wound up falling over to the ground, exploding in a blaze of glory. The Shinkaigers had successfully defeated one of M.Y.T.H.O.S' cyborg monsters, even though they were one member short.
The team then celebrates their victory in triumph. Well, three of them, at least, as Shinkai Red was very much silent. He was happy they've won, but he also felt a little bit of sympathy, as even though he knew that the human which was once Spider Inhumanoid was most likely an unrepentant criminal, he was still one of those illegally modified into a cyborg, and brainwashed, by the organization.
Shinkai Red then disengages his transformation, pulling the medal out of his sword before sheathing it to his hip, reverting back to Takeru Kamishiro.
"Good work, team. Let's go back to base."
"Damn you, Shuugo Sentai Shinkaiger!" Apollo said in the court, cursing the heroes.
"Those fools would dare to fight against M.Y.T.H.O.S?" How stupid of them." Hera addressed, after seeing the huge loss that the organization have made due to the fight with the cyborg warriors. She was clearly not happy.
"Fret not, Your Imperial Majesty! I, Prince Apollo, will create a new Inhumanoid stronger than the previous one to take care of these fools! This will surely defeat the Shinkaigers, soon enough.
"Very well, Apollo. Do keep in mind that I will not tolerate any failures. Proceed with the plan immediately!" Hera ordered. She then left the throne and the court, wondering what Zeus might think if the organization's failures would mount up again and again in fear.
The parents of the Shinkaigers were later informed of the success by Shigeru and Lillie, with said parents being happy about their children's success. Especially Satoshi, who was ecstatic and energetic about his son and daughter's first victory. Upon further inspection, it was determined that Kalos was a likely target for M.Y.T.H.O.S as the Kantonian government was already informed of the organization's rampage in Vermilion City. Kalos however was more industrialized, making the region a much more susceptible target. Fortunately, the Kalosian government has already ordered the Shinkaigers to go and embark in an exodus to Kalos to defend the region; a coincidence since Kalos was also Takeru's next destination.
At dusk, the Shinkaigers then went off together with Satoshi and Serena, who rebooked their plane to add the four cyborgs to their flight. The battle between the Shinkaigers and M.Y.T.H.O.S however was just getting started. But under Takeru's leadership, the team was more than confident to defeat their foes, smiling with radiance on the plane to Kalos.

This is my first fan fiction ever published in my history of writing fan fictions (though I've already written chapters of yet-to-be published stories since early 2021).
