On a Corviknight's Wings

"Lillie. I have an offer for you. You... will have to be my 'puppet' in this organization, because that is the only way out of the controversy that I have generated with that very broadcast. If you accept... Then I will put any of my intentions involving this... to a halt." N said, while showing a light gray EvolMedal with gold accents and a symbol reminiscent of a Silvally's head. This was the Silvally Medal, N's secret trump card that the Unovan man was waiting to make use of. He was clearly serious about the proposition, as the plan was the offer that he had mentioned to all of the general public on live TV.

"N. I, Ohkido-san, Ran, and the other team members are now all tied up by the controversy that you have generated among the general public. And we DO NOT like it. I just want you to know this: If we EVER get the chance to escape from all of your plans, we will. If an opportunity arises to pay you back for what you did, I'll take it. I'm still going to trust you, but you have NO LONGER earned my RESPECT." Takeru said, with his words being directed to N. He was calm, though his voice tone was threatening. The 17-year old's thoughts then began to take over his head.

'N... If you try to fight against Zeus with any plan available at your disposal, including hiding from me... Your plan will be crushed in less than a year from now.' His thoughts were extremely sharp, due to N having hit his sore spot by the former Team Plasma member revealing his identity.

"If that is how you want to handle things, then I myself will not complain... Arc-" N responded. However, he was unable to finish his sentence due to him being cut off by Hikaru. The Blue warrior was not happy. He was pissed off, and he wasn't going to have any of N's ramblings.

The 17-year old was almost ready to strike at N with the EvolRod out of sheer spite, making both Lillie and Takeru panic due to the Blue warrior's 'salty' behaviour. Fortunately, the weapon wasn't able to make contact with N's body, as the EvolRod was knocked away out of Hikaru's hands via an outside force. The jutte would later land on the floor in a destroyed state. This surprised everyone in the room, including N. Mere moments later, a portal from what appears to be the Distortion World would then open, revealing a mysterious Inhumanoid with a striking resemblance to a Giratina. N relaxed at the sight, but however, the opposite would happen to Lillie and both of the aforementioned Shinkaigers.

However, Takeru's facial expressions softened for a little bit as the mysterious, red, glowing vein-like cracks began to appear on his cheek, with one of his eyes also glowing red. Unlike the other instances where it had happened, Lillie had actually managed to notice that there was something going on with her protege, as was the case with Hikaru; this caused the mother-and-son duo to receive suspicions after witnessing what would happen exactly seconds later.

What did happen exactly seconds later, you may ask? Well, Takeru would then step forward towards the new arrival with a smirk, as the crack remained on his cheek for all to see. "What a polite welcome. I should probably thank you for that, eh? Fallen Angel Inhumanoid?"

"Hold on, Take-chan, what's that on your cheek?!" Hikaru asked in a mix of confusion and explosive anger. Lillie didn't say anything, however, the Alolan woman only gestured to Takeru with a look that said 'What is that thing on your cheek?' Unfortunately, there was no response from the Red warrior, as Fallen Angel Inhumanoid later decided to speak up.

"I have, Fallen Angel Inhumanoid. Though I assume you've came here not to meet me, yes?" Takeru said. His facial expression was surprisingly relaxed, as opposed to the usual aggressive one that he would put up when encountering the Inhumanoids under M.Y.T.H.O.S, causing Hikaru to be even more suspicious. It was a different story for Lillie though, who became puzzled the second she heard the monster's voice. It was distorted, like the other monsters under Zeus and his underlings, but the thing that made it stand out, however, was the fact that the Giratina-based cyborg monster had a feminine voice, whom Lillie recognized as one of her older acquaintances, most likely N's fellow teammate as a Shinkaiger candidate.

The monster's feminine voice would then cause Lillie to call out the name of her friend, in extreme suspicion that the monster was originally her before she was converted into an Inhumanoid. "...Momoka? Is that... you?"

The monster then responded by walking up to Lillie, placing a hand on her shoulder, before speaking again. "I̸̤͇͒̿t̴̻͌ ̴̰̬͒ș̶̆̕u̸̪͂ȑ̶̘e̷̡̗͒̚ ̵̩̙͒̚h̸̨̤̔ȁ̸̭͉s̶͓̙̎̚ ̴̛̫b̸̯̒ȇ̶͇e̶͖͉̾n̵̡͎̽ ̶̠͝ȃ̷̟͜ ̶̰͔̅̓l̷̻̆͂ͅǒ̵̪͗n̵̮̗̉̓g̷̬̊̄ ̸̙̚w̴̟͑h̸̼̜͒̓i̷̢͇͋l̷͎͜͝ě̵͖̕,̸͕̪̎͠ ̷͚͓̿̓C̷̭̾h̸̲̫̏́a̵̠͖͑͝ỉ̵̲̺r̵̩̣̒w̵͉̼̚o̸̳̰͂̽m̷͈̈́ǎ̶̞n̷͔̤̆.̴̫̭̃ ̴͉͓̌̈"

The fallen angel-based monster was then enveloped in black smoke with flashes of white light. When it all dissipated, standing in the Inhumanoid's place was a beautiful woman somewhere in her mid-30s, with a fair complexion and wearing a white chiton, accompanied with a himation robe, also white in color. The robe was unusually longer than what Artemis had worn, though, as the longer back portion of the robe extended down to the floor of the room, effectively becoming a train. The woman herself had long, pink hair, the shade of which resembled the color of a pink carnation flower, with a white headband simply adorned at the top of her head. In addition to that, she also had shimmering slate-gray eyes, which was enough to make N stare at her with his extreme affection. This woman was Momoka Kirino, also known as Persephone, Lillie's old friend and N's fianceé who had arrived into the Guardia Base to his aid.

"Yes, it was me, Chairwoman. But don't jump to conclusions nor worry about me. I somehow was freed of the brainwashing that Zeus put me through in order for me to do his bidding without question, and as a result, I defected back to the good side while trying to re-establish contact with you. However, I only came here for a certain someone who, by the looks of things, apparently angered you by revealing what he shouldn't have revealed?" Momoka / Persephone said.

Hikaru though was getting extremely suspicious, prompting him to ask a few questions. "Wait... You're freed from Zeus' brainwashing!? How did you know my mom!? And what is your connection with N, anyway?"

However, before Momoka was able to answer everything regarding that though, Takeru then decided to grab N by the hand and push the Unovan man to bump straight into his fianceé, effectively reuniting 'Persephone' with her 'Hades', however, he was careful to not cause them to fall to the floor nor accidentally kiss, as he knew that N was engaged to Momoka and was probably wanting to do his own business instead of being practically forced into it... Resulting in the couple steaming red and madly blushing. However, N just leaned against his bride-to-be's head until both of their foreheads eventually touched all the while his hands began to wrap around her waist, with them enjoying the moment. Takeru just snickered at seeing N being lovey-dovey to his fianceé, while Lillie just smiled for a bit (as she knew that they were in love since before Momoka joined M.Y.T.H.O.S) and Hikaru was completely silent due to the moment being rather intimate. However, N later surprised the two rangers present in the room by pressing a quick kiss on the lips to Momoka, as a little bit of revenge to Takeru for the sneaky reunion that he had planned, with Lillie being rather unfazed (instead just putting on an amused smirk) due to her already being married. The both of them just let the moment sink into their hearts before the two then parted from their embrace and began to talk to the Shinkaiger mentor and the two cyborgs.

"Anyway, to answer your questions, I'm Momoka Kirino, also known as Persephone, an old acquaintance of both of your mentors and this man's bride-to-be over here. Zeus converted me into an Inhumanoid even though I was happy with N and forced me to do his bidding with the classic brainwashing process that he's still using on his victims. However, I somehow was freed of the brainwashing and ultimately decided to defect from the organization. And unfortunately, Zeus is rather hellbent on killing me and separating me from N for all eternity because of that." Momoka introduced herself, just in case, while also gesturing to Lillie and N. However, it was mainly directed to Hikaru, as Takeru had mysteriously known everything about her in an instant.

"Speaking of which, however, Lillie, regarding that offer that I had just told you, I will, though, only give you time to think of it until tomorrow midnight. If you do not respond to that very same offer though... Momoka and I will take matters into our own hands using the Silvally Medal. In addition to that, the Shinkaigers are going to be faced with public scrutiny if you decide to decline, and I take it that you do not want any of it to happen. So, choose wisely." N summed up. As a result of this, Hikaru's agitated expression returned to his face while Takeru glared daggers at N and Momoka while keeping a calm expression.

"I'll consider it, N." Lillie said straightforwardly.

At the same time though, Takeru's sharp and critical thoughts took over his head for the second time. 'Just you wait, N. You cannot escape from the consequences that you'll face in the future.'

"Well then, Lillie. We'll have to take our leave. Farewell, all three of you." N said, holding his bride-to-be by his hand, though it was rather difficult for him to move, as Zeus had fractured the joints of all four of his limbs as a result of Momoka's defection. Takeru and Hikaru just gave a nod at that, as they tried to be civil to N and Momoka despite the two getting on sour terms. Lillie however took the offer in stride, with her holding no ill will against the couple.

We then shift our attention to one of the more larger and wider rooms in the Guardia Base Kalos, complete with a stage, a podium, and many seats consisting of five chairs atop the stage, located beside said podium, and many more chairs filling up the remainder of the spaces. This was the building's conference room, with Lillie and the rest of the Aether Foundation holding a press conference by orders from the government to address the negative responses and backlash from N's unprecedented, international broadcast among the general public, not just in Kalos, but also Kanto, Johto, and many more, including the minor regions. Many journalists and reporters were already seated in the rows of chairs below the stage, with a few cameras from international media outlets filming the conference live to be broadcasted worldwide. Lillie then took her place at the central podium, with the five Shinkaigers, who were already in-suit, also following and taking their seats, as a result beginning the press conference.

"Welcome, and to all of the journalists and reporters who are here representing their respective TV networks, thank you very much for attending this press conference. As you might have known with some of the recent events, an unprecedented international televised address regarding the Aether Foundation's elite tactical unit, Shuugo Sentai Shinkaiger, has gone viral on social media around the world, sparking backlash and controversy. I, as the Chairwoman of the Aether Foundation, has decided to call this specific conference with all of the team's five members under my wing in order to respond to those controversies. We will now be allowing the fielding of any questions relating to the team." Lillie started. At the same time, the five Shinkaigers then took off their helmets, revealing their true identities to the public in live TV, in an attempt to familiarize them of their identities.

A reporter then begins to raise his hand up, signalling a question. This prompted Lillie to answer. "Yes?"

"Ryouta Yamauchi, Jubilife TV. I would like to ask, why are trainers like Takeru Kamishiro selected to become part of the team? Why are they only able to use the power systems that you have developed? And most of all, how would you respond to allegations that Shinkaiger is only created for elite trainers to participate in, due to the fact that all of the members of the team are the children of notable people?"

"Well, to start things off, the first and second questions will have the same answer. I suppose you might have known about Satoshi Kamishiro's mysterious Greninja that took Kalos and all of the other by storm at some point, right? Please raise your left hand if you have heard about it." Lillie asked. Most reporters and journalists present in the room would later raise their left hands, indicating a yes.

"Good. Well, Satoshi's Greninja has exhibited the ability to transform into a more powerful form, whose power level is equal to a Mega Evolved Pokémon, despite the lack of a specific Mega Stone meant for a Greninja. In hindsight, this is possible due to an ability that most regional professors call, the Bond Phenomenon, with Professor Platane of Kalos being the first regional professor to extensively research that ability owing to his specialty in researching Mega Evolution. What is the correlation between the Bond Phenomenon and all of the Shinkaiger team members, you may ask? The answer is that, all of the five trainers who are currently seated beside me on this very stage has a high potential of becoming Bond Phenomenon users. However, Takeru and the other members of the team lack a sufficient bond with their Pokémon to be able to achieve it. This is the reason why that they are able to use the power systems that I have developed to its fullest potential, and as a result, we have selected them to participate as full-time members of the team.

Murmurs of shock and surprise later erupted in the crowd of reporters and journalists. Takeru, Ran, Ryouma and Hikaru had a visibly shocked expression, while Erina had her hands covering her mouth in shock, too, as they were never told of the reason that they were selected in the first place. Heck, only a select few like Shigeru and Satoshi know about this fact, and they were only able to persuade the other team members' parents to sign the contract that allowed the team to be converted into cyborgs in the first place.

"As for the third question though, the allegations are FALSE, as the specific criteria that I have just disclosed to you all just happens to be fulfilled by Takeru, Ran, Ryouma, Hikaru and Erina. There is a possibility for a less 'elite' trainer to become members of the team, however as there are no known trainers which fulfill that criteria aside from these five. The choices are purely coincidental, and Shinkaiger was created for all trainers, regardless of how elite they are. Thank you, Mr. Yamauchi. Next question, please." Lillie said.

"Etsuko Shibukawa, TV Mauville. This question is for Takeru Kamishiro; does any of your family members know that you've been a Shinkaiger for all this time before your identity was leaked on that live TV broadcast? And, if there are any, are they okay with you becoming one?"

Takeru then promptly began to speak up. "First of all, before I get this question answered, keep in mind that I'm also representing my sister Erina and the rest of the remaining Shinkaigers who are seated beside me on this stage as their team leader. With that in mind, the answer is that, all of our family members never knew about ourselves becoming a Shinkaiger, except our parents. As for the second part of the question though, the situation's rather complicated, as if you are to become a Shinkaiger member, you have to give up more than 50% of your body parts to be amputated or removed, and then replaced with cybernetic ones which drastically enhance your own manpower. That's the case with all of us over here: we are practically cyborgs, and we're probably about 93% cybernetic. However, our parents had full consent on both Professor Shigeru and Lillie-san converting us into cyborgs before letting them take us under their wings as their proteges. And before you continue to question me about it, no, we were not forcibly converted, we took the risk willingly knowing that a part of us are going to be no longer human. We did all of this for the safety of people and Pokémon, that's what matters. I didn't even regret the decision anyway, so what's the point of making a fuss about it? That's all that I have to say, thank you, Mrs. Shibukawa."

Once again, murmurs of shock later erupted in the crowd. However, the conference later turned into chaos as some of the paparazzi in the room became agitated and visibly angry at Lillie for converting Takeru and his teammates into cyborgs, escalating with some of the press members shouting questions at her. Fortunately, Takeru later rushed into his mentor's aid by checkmating everyone in the room.

"Okay, let's be honest, why the hell are you all angry at my mentor for converting me and my teammates into cyborgs!? Take your anger out at M.Y.T.H.O.S! They convert people into cyborgs against their will and BRAINWASH said cyborgs into doing their BIDDING! SERIOUSLY!? I MEAN, WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH ALL OF YOU? The pure irony of what has happened... that you, and virtually ALL OF THE DAMN MEDIA tend to give us negative reactions when it was clear that our enemies have done EVEN WORSE! KEEP IT DOWN, AND CONTINUE THE CONFERENCE!" Takeru said, revealing the extent of his anger towards all of the paparazzi, while trying to refrain from using profanities. This outburst caused everyone in the room to go silent, including Lillie, who have never even heard of Takeru raising his voice that high before. However, everyone was able to recover from the shock, eventually.

"Alright, thank you, Takeru, eheh... Next question, please." Lillie said, while nervously thanking Takeru for the checkmate.

"Laurent Chevalier, Kalos24. Recently, allegations and rumors of the Aether Foundation subjecting Pokémon to unethical practices to extract their powers for use by the Shinkaigers have been surfacing across social media. How would you respond to these rumors and allegations?"

"Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Mr. Chevalier. Once again, the aforementioned rumors and allegations of the Aether Foundation subjecting Pokémon to unethical experiences in order to extract their powers are false. I as the Chairwoman of the Aether Foundation do not condone and endorse the abuse of Pokémon, especially for those of personal gain, and we try to make sure that the Pokémon are comfortable in the process with minimum psychological trauma." Lillie answered. However, before the Shinkaiger mentor can go over to the next question, she was interrupted by a sound, which was only audible to her. She then glanced over to the source of the sound, and it was revealed that Takeru had repeatedly stomped his foot on the stage in order to get her attention.

The Red warrior then glanced over onto her. His eyes then glowed red for a brief second, which Lillie was able to notice, and the 17-year old later gave her a signal using his body language, also telling her non-verbally by quickly blinking his eyes to form Morse code sentences signifying that Momoka had somehow snuck up into the room (Takeru didn't know where she was hiding, however), and something suspicious was about to happen soon enough if she didn't close the press conference as soon as possible.

"Well, so far, all of the information that we have disclosed to all of you in this press conference while answering all of your questions are simply put, already known by the Aether Foundation as it, in itself, is related to the Shinkaiger project as the team's official parent organization. We currently have more information about the project available as of the moment, but we will try to reveal more details in future press conferences or in interviews on the coming weeks. The information that we currently have regarding M.Y.T.H.O.S, the terrorist organization that the Shinkaiger team were formed to fight against, is unfortunately very limited, and for that reason, we cannot answer questions regarding the organization in itself, as we are still trying to discover their inner workings and their origins as time progresses. That is, until we are able to prepare more information to disclose. So, please look forward to any of our future announcements and press conferences. To all of the reporters and journalists who are here with me and all of the five Shinkaiger team members, we deeply apologize if we have left some of your questions unanswered, and we will try to update all of you regarding the Shinkaiger project and all of the other information pertaining to the team. That is all for this press conference. Thank you very much for your cooperation and attendance." Lillie ended. She decided to cut the press conference short and call it a day for the time being after receiving Takeru's non-verbal signal, with her being wary of the suspicious things that could happen if she did not close the press conference as soon as possible while trying to make it so that the end of the conference did not seem abrupt by covering it up with logical excuses. Lillie, her proteges, and all of the paparazzi later made their way out of the room as a result.

A few hours after the press conference, Takeru, Ryouma and Erina was currently relaxing in the lounge room of the Guardia Base, which was now officially closed again to the public and only had access allowed for a select few people, excluding all of the Shinkaigers and Aether Foundation employees. Erina and Ryouma were busy opening both of their social media accounts on a social network platform, while Takeru was laughing amusingly at the reactions of his friends and family members from Kanto, Johto, Alola and Kalos after learning of his identity as Shinkai Red in a few text messages. He had gotten his damaged cybernetic hands replaced, however, the prosthetic arm lacked a spare EvolBracelet, causing Takeru to be unable to transform. This, in turn, caused Ran to brainstorm ideas for a new transformation device until a new bracelet would be created and ultimately grafted onto Takeru's hands, and it would prompt him later make his way into the workshop to construct it, with it being the reason for his absence. Hikaru though was currently with Lillie, contacting Shigeru, his father.

Just then, the alert systems of the base began to blare on the speakers at full volume, prompting Takeru, Erina and Ryouma to go into the briefing room. However, the Red warrior's eyes began to glow red for one brief moment, causing him to pat Ryouma on the shoulder.

"Tell slug and Ohkido-san that I'll be up ahead to Camphrier Town. Wasp and Mantis have decided to emerge again." Takeru summarized, preparing to make a detour to the workshop where Ran is currently situated in.

"But how are you going to fight those Inhumanoids if you can't transform!? You're just asking for a death wish!" Ryouma rebuked. Erina was worried as well, though she was silent.

Takeru then calmly responded, poking Erina's nose before going off by himself. "It's something you'll have to find out by yourself, Ryou. And that's the same to you, little flower. I'll be off, then. See you."

With that, Ryouma shrugged before he then went off with only Erina accompanying him. Meanwhile, Takeru would later meet up with Ran at the workshop. The Yellow warrior himself was preparing to go into the briefing room in response to the alert systems before he was stopped by his team leader.

"Ran, is the device ready?" Takeru asked, asking for Ran's new device. He fortunately never told Lillie and the rest of the Shinkaigers that he was constructing such a device, making a perfect surprise reveal.

He then simply gestured towards the table at the workshop, where a red and orange sword with a fire motif was placed on it, fresh from the forge and with newly dried paint. "See for yourself, pal."

"Nice." Takeru said, putting a little bit of emphasis as he began gripping the sword's hilt. He then ordered Ran to go into the briefing room. "I'll be going off ahead of you. Go to the briefing room, alright? Everyone's waiting."

"Oui." Ran said.

"Merci pour l'épée, mon ami." Takeru responded. 'With this, Apollo won't know that he's going to get fucked for destroying my bracelet.'

"Je t'en prie, Takeru. I'll see you in a bit, then."

With that, Ran and Takeru later went off their separate ways, with the former going to the briefing room to catch up with his teammates and the latter planning a quick headstart to Camphrier Town.

Camphrier Town, Kalos

Camphrier Town was in utter disarray, as Wasp and Mantis Inhumanoid had begun their simultaneous attacks in the city. The citizens were screaming and crying out of fear, running for their dear lives, but the sound of Takeru's EvolStriker later alerted them.

"Everyone, get to safety! I'll handle this quickly!" Takeru ordered to the nearby citizens, this time not concealing his identity after he was exposed by N himself. The fact that Takeru was present puzzled the two Beedrill and Scyther-based monsters respectively, as Takeru himself was unable to transform... Or so they thought.

Mere seconds after his arrival, the other Shinkaigers would then arrive on their EvolStrikers with their bracelets already summoned. Their EvolMedals were also inserted as well, although they didn't transform into their ranger forms just yet. They were also puzzled upon seeing Takeru's presence.

"W̴̯̓ầ̴͚̠i̸̯͛͘ṫ̵̜,̷̼͎̓̀ ̷̙͆w̵̟̫̌h̷̞̕y̸̖̜͛ ̸̘̈́͠ì̵̯s̸̻̪̄̏ ̶̪́͠ͅS̸̜̑͌h̸̯̬̽ĩ̸͇n̸̤̂͂k̵͓̓̓a̶̪̫̽̂i̴̢̹͠ ̴̼͑R̷̘̓͋e̸͕̪̾ḓ̵̠̚ ̵̯̗̀ṡ̶̞͒t̸̺̔̔ͅa̸͆͜͝n̸̺̲̅ď̶̠ͅȉ̷͓n̸̗̙͒͌g̸̺͘ ̸͉̠͗h̷̜͝ė̸̢̙̂r̵͈͐e̸̯̘̍?̵̜̈͋" Mantis Inhumanoid continued. The same could be said for the rest of the Shinkaigers, though.

"Hey, Take-chan! What the fuck are you doing!?" Hikaru said. He was as confused as the other Shinkaigers, however, Ran only snickered, as he was the one who built Takeru's new transformation device, the Infernal Blade. Also, Takeru himself was eerily silent, as he only walked away to the town center, where both of the Inhumanoids can see him in a full, frontal view. Back at the Guardia Base, Lillie was pondering the same thing, however the look of confusion changed into one of utter shock as Takeru took out the Talonflame Medal, and then pulled the Infernal Blade out of its sheath.

TALONFLAME!

Takeru then began hovering the EvolMedal over a hidden scanner located on the blade of the sword.

BURST!

After that, he then proceeded to insert the medal into a circular slot on the handle of the weapon, similar to the ones located on the EvolBlade and EvolBracelet.

"Spark Change." Takeru proclaimed. He strangely put up a stoic demeanor though, a far cry from his usual behavior in fighting off Inhumanoids.

Takeru then proceeded to turn the sharp end of the blade towards him, before slashing himself horizontally. Instead of causing harm though, the slash simply engulfed him in large flames, which shrouded the view of him transforming into his new form and acted as a barrier to prevent the monsters from charging at him.

INFERNO UP!

BLAZE! ABYSS! HELLFIRE! SHINKAI RED! TALONFLAME!

The large flames engulfing Takeru would then dissipate after a few minutes to reveal the 17-year old boy to be completely decked out in a black undersuit with red lines, red shoes with black accents, and black gloves with red padding. His legs were also protected with red shin guards and red kneepads, with all of them accented in black like the other components of the armor. His forearms had red and gold gauntlets, while his shoulders were protected with red, orange, and yellow shoulder pads with black accents. The chestplate though was made up of a few separate components in red and orange, with the orange components forming the silhouette of a phoenix with open wings. All of the armor components and the undersuit itself had panel lines, which was incorporated using lasers into the material of the suit. As for the belt itself, the belt buckle was mostly similar in color and shape to the original belt buckle that came with the EvolBracelet. However, the buckle lacked its signature stripes, and the circle of the Poké Ball design in the middle of the buckle was colored red as a result. The belt straps, the EvolMedal holder, and the sheath of the Infernal Blade was also colored gold instead of the standard silver.

Pieces of the helmet would then appear, before they would then abruptly slam into Takeru's head before firmly locking into place. The helmet was mostly similar to his original one; however, a different plumage design was sculpted onto the helmet, and the decorative "eyes" of the helmet was now glowing white. A glowing rhombus was also added to the forehead crest of the helmet to differentiate itself from the original suit that Lillie had designed. Lastly, the shape of the visor, though still in line with the bird aesthetic, is still somewhat different in comparison the original Shinkai Red helmet.

"WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!?" Hikaru yelled. He was not believing or comprehending the fact that his rival was able to transform again despite getting his EvolBracelet destroyed.

"D-did he just...Spark Change!? WITHOUT an EvolBracelet!?" Ryouma exclaimed. He was just as shocked as Hikaru.

"Oh, mon Arceus... This was not what I was expecting in the slightest..." Erina remarked. Hikaru and Ryouma later nodded in agreement.

'So, the device did work... I scarce believe it, but let's see how Takeru was able to fight with it.' Ran thought. He had his hand on his chin, not visibly shocked or surprised in the slightest. He was also silent, as he was the one who built the device and the only other person to know of its existence up until that point, besides Takeru of course.

"Ỉ̷̲̞m̵͠ͅp̷̮̾o̶̗̳͛͋s̷͍͉̉ş̷̹̂̓i̴̦̳͂b̷̺̐l̴̨̛̫̓e̷̜̟͆.̵̟̰͒̈́.̸̗̤͊͆.̴͖̏̉ ̷͎̎P̵̝͉̈́r̸̬͆i̶̲͆n̷̹͋͗c̷̩̦͋e̸͔͓̓ ̴̛̳͜A̶̖͒͑p̷̧̻͒ȍ̴͉̯̚l̴̹̀͂l̸̞͇̋̈ö̵͇͚ ̷̟̄͆ḧ̷̹̫͐a̶̧͙̔͗d̶̥̐͂ ̷̣̲̚h̴̟̝̓ḯ̷̘̣ṁ̶͓̱ ̵͓̅̿ų̶̢̐͑ń̷̟͈͒a̵͉͒b̵̼̂̚l̶̩͛e̷̙͚͝ ̴͚͍̚͝ṯ̸͑ȯ̸̤ ̴̧̓͠t̸̮̔r̷̼̐̊a̵̻͒̉͜n̴͉̟̑͝s̸̺̞͛f̴̮̈ō̴͉̏r̸̡̊m̴̖͂͝!̴̣̙̉̅" Mantis Inhumanoid said, in shock that his enemy was able to fight back against him.

Back at the Guardia Base in Lumiose City, Lillie then gasped at seeing Takeru's transformation with the Infernal Blade, only to get even more mind-blown when she realized that her protege's armor is actually based on one of her scrapped designs for the original Shinkai Red suit. She then began to think for a moment, before she snickered, figuring out that Ran was able to build a temporary transformation device and that he had somehow found one of her discarded concept arts before tweaking and incorporating it into the device.

She then let out a sigh, before muttering something under her breath. "Ran... You should have told me you're building a new device..."

The Alolan woman then let out a small giggle before resuming her monitoring duties.

Just then, without any words and any warnings, Takeru then walked up to Wasp Inhumanoid before proceeding to begin trading blows with him, prompting the rest of the Shinkaigers to transform quickly to aid their team leader. Ran and Erina took on Wasp Inhumanoid, using the EvolArrow and EvolRapier to deal damage to the monster before Takeru would use his stronger punching power to weaken him. Meanwhile, Ryouma and Hikaru would take care of Mantis Inhumanoid, using their juttejutsu and marksmanship skills, respectively, to deal massive blows to the Scyther-based Inhumanoid. Fortunately to the two cyborg monsters, Apollo would later appear, seeking to settle a score with Takeru ever since their bitter rivalry escalated with the latter chopping off one of his hands. The M.Y.T.H.O.S general had gotten a replacement prosthetic arm after the incident, but it still left his pride severely wounded after that.

"I've been looking to settle our scores with you, Shinkai Red. I hope you're ready to receive a beatdown after you've chopped off my precious arm. And I've seen you've been able to transform again as well. This... will be fun." Apollo remarked, as he began walking up to Takeru. However, the Red warrior was still eerily silent.

The response? Takeru then conjured an energy blast from his left hand, directing it towards Apollo. The blast would then hit the young man, pushing him a few feet away before making him fall down on the pavement below. This would shock Ryouma, Hikaru, Erina, and Lillie herself from inside the base at how powerful he was, while Ran was internally celebrating as Takeru was able to harness the higher-than-normal level of power like it was not much of a big deal. He. Was. Pissed.

'Holy crap, Take-chan...' Hikaru thought, seeing the ensuing fight momentarily with his teammates before resuming his scuffle with the two cyborg monsters.

Apollo later got back to his feet again, and later proceeded to fire an attack from his recurve bow. However, Takeru was able to deflect the attack by using the back of his elbow, before effortlessly knocking him aside with another simple punch. Seeing this, Mantis Inhumanoid decided to break free from Ryouma and Hikaru's clutches to help his creator, however, Takeru then grabbed the mantis monster by the neck from behind (without even looking at his target) before throwing him back over to Ryouma and Hikaru with extra power, causing the Scyther-based cyborg monster to be severely weakened and leaving him open to be killed off by the two rangers' finishing blows. As a result, Ryouma then took on the initiative to finish the monster for good while Hikaru prevented him from getting away, with the Black warrior pressing on the top button of the EvolBracelet twice, before pressing it again for one last time.

FINISHING BLOW!

Ryouma then proceeds to take up a battle stance, focusing all of his energy in one hand.

"Antumbra Breaker!"

He then proceeds to deliver a supercharged punch at the monster's vital weakpoint, causing the aforementioned Inhumanoid to be mortally wounded and screaming in agony, also prompting both Ryouma and Hikaru to get away from the imminent explosion that was his first death to the safety of their three teammates.

UMBREON! ONE STRIKE FINISH! DARKNESS!

As expected, Mantis Inhumanoid would later explode like a landmine. As a result, Apollo would later run towards Takeru in pure vengeance and revenge for the death of his creation, however, the Red warrior followed it up with a powerful roundhouse kick that tore Apollo's synthetic skin, drew up blood, and exposed his cybernetic wounds, causing him to be completely paralyzed and immobile. It would get even worse for him though, as Wasp Inhumanoid would later get himself pinned down against a building's walls by Takeru. The latter then proceeds to charge a finishing blow to the Beedrill monster by scanning the Talonflame Medal over a slot under the Infernal Blade.

CHARGE!

He then inserts the Talonflame Medal once again to activate the finishing blows.

FIREBIRD ASSAULT!

With Wasp Inhumanoid now pinned down against the wall, Takeru then covers his hand in orange energy and then would begin to deliver lots of punches to the monster, causing the wall to crack. Simultaneously, an energy construct of a Talonflame appears from behind him and it would then proceed to impale the Beedrill-based cyborg monster with its beak as the punches make contact with his body. Due to this, Wasp Inhumanoid would then go off in a blaze of glory, and cause the abandoned building to crumble down. Takeru meanwhile, would then just shoot a cold look to his teammates and Apollo all while he was surrounded by falling rubble behind him. This display of power and viciousness would shock even Hikaru and Erina, which had known Takeru for the longest time, as it was atypical of him to be a bit vindictive. This would also wound Apollo's pride a little bit more however, and cement Takeru as a potential threat to the M.Y.T.H.O.S war hero.

A few seconds later, though, the fail-safe program of the two monsters which enables them to grow up to giant size after their first defeat would then activate, making Apollo snicker as the two cyborg Inhumanoids would then begin to aimlessly rampage around the town, with Wasp Inhumanoid intending on going to the Shabboneau Castle to destroy it and wipe out the noble family which resided there as per the previous plan. Back on the ground however, Apollo would then begin cackling maniacally.

"SHINKAIGERS! BEHOLD! MY TRUE POWER!" Apollo said in a deranged tone. He then pointed his hand to Wasp Inhumanoid with an open palm, causing the monster to be unable to move.

"Ḛ̴̩̑r̷̠̔́g̸̛̪͇͝h̵͚̎̋.̸̖̃̉.̶̙̒̔ͅ ̷͙̘̊̾W̴̩͕͂́h̷̜̗͗ạ̶͂t̷͇̠̒!̸͇̱̒?̷̠̼̒̋ ̷̱̆P̵̨͓͂̆r̸̟̈́̈́i̴̥̝̓̄ň̸̘̼͘c̸̡͂e̵͌̊͜ ̸̭͐̀͜A̵̠̩͆ṗ̷̣õ̸͎̺̉l̵̛̰͎l̵̨̯͌̃o̵̮͎͐!̶͚̩͊͐ ̵̻͊Y̸̮͌ŏ̷͍̇u̴͍̭̒r̵̞̈ ̴̨͎̔H̴̦̩̓̐i̸͇͠g̸̙̽̿h̸͖̽͝ṋ̴̢͊e̴͖̊͝s̷̫̣̽s̸̲̐!̴͙͚̍ ̸̪̍F̸͕͒̎R̸̝͙̎Ȅ̵̳͑͜Ḛ̷̐͗ ̷̜̃̀M̶͚̘̄È̸̦̞̈́!̵̜̠͆" Wasp Inhumanoid said, seeing what had happened to him, and as a result begging for Apollo to make him move again. However, the monster's request fell on deaf ears as the maniacal general later would snap his fingers, causing Wasp Inhumanoid to immediately explode into his second death. This was how Apollo had mysteriously destroyed Raven Inhumanoid back in Chapter 5; he had only just revealed this to the Shinkaigers as a show of force.

"Wait... That's how Raven Inhumanoid was destroyed!" Ryouma exclaimed.

"So he can destroy Inhumanoids as well without breaking a sweat..." Ran remarked, analyzing Apollo's power.

"Oh, Arceus..." Hikaru said, with a little bit of dread plastered on his face. Apollo then proceeded to try and walk away from the scene with immense pain before laughing maniacally and saying something. "May we meet again... Shinkaigers! Eheheheheh!"

"Well then, I think that just leaves us with Mantis Inhumanoid to take care of. Ohkido-san, the mechas all ready yet?" Takeru said, speaking for the first time since his transformation.

"Yep, you bet it's ready. Go ahead, we"ll be preparing to launch a new vehicle soon and we want you to test its performance." Lillie said from Takeru's helmet communicator.

"Let's not waste time, then, shall we?" Ran said. The others then took out their U-Phones before they would then begin typing out their respective vehicle numbers, summoning them.

Summon Mecha, On!

Jet! Trailer! Roader! Marine! Shuttle!

Summoning, Go!

The team's five vehicles would then be launched out of the Guardia Base Kalos at that, arriving to the area in seconds. The team then proceeded to make their way onto their respective vehicle's cockpits, before placing their U-Phones down to act as the control consoles. The team would then turn on their in-built helmet communicators.

"Everyone, as I've already said, I have a new vehicle built and while it is virtually completed by now, I don't completely know if it is able to perform sufficiently. Takeru, you'll have to transfer cockpits if you want to test it. You'll then have to combine Jet, Trailer, Roader, Marine and Shuttle into Shinkai-Oh once Takeru is piloting the new vehicle. Got it?"

"Alright then." Takeru remarked.

"But, how are we going to combine when Takeru's not in Jet?" Ryouma asked.

"I'll take over control of Jet to fly it on autopilot, and I'll be the one inputting the codeword as well."

"Eh, if that works, that works, then." Takeru responded, before casting a brief glance to all four of his teammates before proceeding to gesture to Lillie that he was ready via the U-Phone's monitors.

As a result, on the other side of the communication lines, the Shinkaiger mentor would then go ahead and open the developer console on her master version of the U-Phone, before pressing the 'Summon Mecha' feature. She then typed in the number 7, oddly and inadvertently skipping the previous number, 6, before pressing 'GO'.

Due to that, the Guardia Base would then open its hangar door, and in a few seconds, a giant motorbike would then be launched out, with it arriving to the area. The motorbike itself was designed after a Corviknight based on research data that Lillie had collected in Galar with N's help. This was the EvolBiker, the new vehicle in the Shinkaigers' arsenal.

Back at base, Lillie would then press a button activating master-exclusive feature in the developer console, called 'Connect to Mecha'. She then proceeds to press the microphone icon to activate the feature's voice-activated system, doing it all in quick succession and allowing her to take control of any vehicle that the team has in their own disposal. This was how she was precisely able to control the EvolRoader in Chapter 4 when Ryouma was unavailable to fight.

"EvolJet, Connect On." Lillie proclaimed. As a result, the EvolJet's controls would be overriden with the Connect to Mecha feature, allowing Takeru to take out his U-Phone out of the vehicle's circuitry and eject out, making his way onto the EvolBiker in the process.

The 17-year old boy then proceeded to put his U-Phone down on the EvolBiker to take control over it. Takeru's eyes then glowed behind his helmet, before communicating to Lillie and only Lillie herself at what he was planning, preventing the rest of his teammates from knowing what he was going to do.

"Ohkido-san, I've already mastered the codeword for the alternate combinations. Can you quickly combine into Shinkai-Oh before I could test it?

"Well, then, this makes it easier now that you know how it works." Lillie remarked. She then opened up communications again, before letting out an order for the team. "All units, please get into formation. We're preparing to combine into Shinkai-Oh."

With that, the team, sans Takeru of course, would then get into formation to combine into Shinkai-Oh. They then began typing their respective numbers in order for the combination process to begin.

Combine Mecha, On!

Jet! Trailer! Roader! Marine! Shuttle!

Shinkai-Oh, Go!

"Shuugo Gattai!" Lillie proclaimed, saying the keyword to initiate the combination.

The EvolMarine would then attach to the EvolTrailer before splitting in half to form the legs, while the EvolRoader's two arms would then swerve in and attach to the sides of the mecha to form the arms. The EvolShuttle would then attach on top of the EvolTrailer to form the chestplate, essentially forming the full body of the robot. However, Takeru then interrupted the process.

"Ran, don't press the brakes yet!" Takeru urged. This resulted in Ran himself and the whole team to be completely confused, although Lillie wasn't surprised.

"Wait, huh!?"

Takeru later let out a harsh rebuttal before opening the developer console of his U-Phone and pressing the Combine Mecha button, before typing the number 7. "Shut the fuck up, and watch closely."

Combine Mecha, On!

Biker!

Shinkai-Oh Corviknight, Go!

"Shuugo Busou!" Takeru proclaimed, this time initiating the codeword to combine the EvolBiker with the incomplete and headless Shinkai-Oh.

With that, the EvolBiker began to segment itself into three parts, with the front part of the motorbike resembling the head of a Corviknight forming a sort of robe, attaching itself to two joints hidden at the top of the EvolMarine.

"Hikaru! Use your Marine Jets!" Takeru ordered. The Blue warrior later nodded in response and began turning on all eight of his Marine Jets, two clusters of four engines on both halves of the submarine-based mecha. Due to the mecha not standing up (yet) however, the engines ended up lifting the incomplete robot up into the air, which made it perfect for Takeru to align the midsection of the motorbike.

"Throttle down, you know where this is going, slug!" Takeru said. Hikaru then began to snicker, as he then proceeded to throttle down the engine output of the Marine Jets, slowly bringing the whole mecha down into position.

The motorbike mecha's handlebars and midsection would later attach itself to the EvolTrailer's bottom joints with its wheels being folded back as a result, forming the chestplate and back armor alongside the EvolShuttle.

"Nice job at the coordination, Takeru! Hikaru!" Lillie complimented, watching the whole combination process unfolding via the Guardia Base monitoring systems.

"Thanks, Makuahine! But wait... Now what, do I have to lift Shinkai-Oh up to its standing position or?" Hikaru responded, before asking the rhetorical question.

"Well, duh, of course you'll have to do it, you big fat bloke." Takeru quipped with severe profanity, before Ran and Ryouma interjected it with a more 'tame' approach at answering.

"And it's all because I / Ran couldn't press the brake pedals for it to work." Ran and Ryouma said in unison.

In response, Hikaru then let out an annoyed grunt, with a bemused expression being visible under that blue helmet of his. "Keh! Fine..."

As a result, the Blue warrior would then begin to do his work on making the robot standing, using the Marine Jets to lift the robot up into the air and then use the controls from his U-Phone to turn it 90 to the right. He then turned off the Marine Jets, causing the headless mecha to fall down, though it was able to land safely on its feet via shock absorbers, not causing any minor damage.

"Oh, boy, that wasn't as smooth as I would've usually liked, but ehh, it works, I guess..." Erina said.

Lillie then proceeded to control the EvolJet to fly upside-down, before attaching the upper part of the jet-powered aircraft with the back part of the EvolBiker (at the same joint where the EvolTrailer would have stuck to), flying away with it akin to a Braviary catching its own prey. She then controlled the EvolJet to its original position, prompting Takeru to open a hidden compartment containing another joint. The EvolJet then begins to swerve into the back of the mecha, with the EvolBiker facing towards the back of the EvolTrailer. The two vehicles then successfully combine, with the EvolJet forming the back armor of the robot. However, the nosecone was later folded down, and the conical end of the EvolBiker's back part later rotated 180 to form the new head, completing the alternate combination. Takeru, Ran, Ryouma, Hikaru and Erina were later transported into a shared cockpit as a result, while Lillie essentially just automatically handed over full control of the mecha to Takeru at that.

SHINKAI-OH CORVIKNIGHT!

The robot then took up a brief pose, with the Aeonic Saber and Aeonic Shield already materialized in the mecha's hands.

"Ẇ̸̫̚h̴̥̼̑a̶̹͛t̴͓̾͝ ̵̺̆͜ì̵̛̻̱n̸̪̈ ̴̱́͑t̵̻̭̑͝h̷̩̝̎͘ê̶̬!̵͚̅?̷̢̮̓̍" The Scyther-based Inhumanoid said, with him being utterly flabbergasted at what had just happened before him.

"NEW! COM! BI! NA! TION! And well, with that out of the way, let's go straight to the point and finish off this mantis fucker, shall we, team?" Takeru said, before casting a glance at his teammates while asking.

"Hold on, hold on, HOLD ON! Do we have any weapons that we could use, Takeru?" Ran asked in response.

"As a matter of fact, we actually do have new weapons, Ran." Lillie interjected, with the team's lines of communication with their mentor still being opened up allowing Lillie to hear each and every one of their sentences.

However, Hikaru this time clearly wasn't happy, and as a result, began putting up an annoyed expression under his helmet. "We actually do!? Okay, what is it now, Mom..."

"With what object do you think the EvolBiker is able to move on roads?" Takeru said, giving a cryptic hint to the rest of his team.

"Wheels." The four remaining Shinkaigers said in unison. Ran however continued on with the conversation, trying to ask before realizing something in the process and stopping himself from going further. "Wait, so we're using it as a- Ah..."

"Yes, we're using it as a chakram, Ran. But anyways, Mantis Inhumanoid! You're. Going. Down." And with that statement, Shinkai-Oh later took up a battle stance.

"V̴̛̖ĕ̵̲ŗ̵̛̉y̷̱͗ ̴̨̢̀̚ẁ̷̢̦̔ė̵̯l̸̨̉̍l̵̨͌ ̷̱̈́ţ̵͉̂h̵̭̝̐͗e̶͇̫͂n̸̤̹̈́̑.̴͓̓ ̸̳̤̃͝L̴̅̋ͅė̷͚̮t̵̺͂̽'̶̦̦̋̉ș̷̀̐ ̷̛͈̃s̷̯̀̋e̵̱̔͠t̸̡̊͑t̶̀̾ͅl̶̞̯̔ȩ̸͇̈̚ ̸̤̠͠t̵͍͋̕h̷̜̗̅̃ḯ̷̗̲͠s̵̳̑̉!̷̩͑" Mantis Inhumanoid said, accepting the challenge.

The five-piece mecha then proceeded to charge towards the Scyther-based monster, dealing moderate damage to the Inhumanoid with a few slashes from the Aeonic Saber. The mantis monster then began using his pincers to attack, only to be stopped by the Aeonic Shield effortlessly blocking it from touching the robot.

"Aeon Ring!" Takeru proclaimed, pressing a few buttons to summon the wheels of the EvolBiker, causing one of them to materialize in Shinkai-Oh's hands while the Aeonic Saber and Aeonic Shield were digitized away. The EvolBiker's two wheels were actually the Aeon Ring, a chakram-like circular throwing weapon which could be split into two blades and come back to the user after being thrown, in a similar manner to that of a boomerang.

Shinkai-Oh later began to charge and throw the Aeon Ring up into the air. The chakram-based weapon later would split itself up into two curved blades, with them going on to hack, cleave and slash through Mantis Inhumanoid, dealing more severe damage. The two curved blades would later rejoin to form the complete Aeon Ring in mid-air before coming back to Shinkai-Oh's grasp.

"Whoa! That was AMAZING!" Ran exclaimed, slamming the control consoles in pure excitement. However, the Yellow warrior was then silenced by a grunt from Takeru, telling him non-verbally to focus on the battle instead.

"Ring Slicer!" Ryouma proclaimed, pressing another set of buttons to summon a second Aeon Ring. Shinkai-Oh would then grab the aforementioned duplicate weapon, before thrusting the two chakrams together towards the Scyther monster. Takeru later saw the opportunity to prevent the monster from causing more collateral damage as a result, though, as the battle was wrecking some of the buildings in the currently-evacuated Camphrier Town.

"Erina, use the Ring Stopper!" Takeru ordered. The 15-year old girl then nodded, pressing her sets of buttons to make the robot accomplish the technique.

"Ring Stopper!" Erina proclaimed, causing the two Aeon Rings to fly atop the monster's head before falling down to entrap him. However, Mantis Inhumanoid was trying to break free, causing Ran and Hikaru to rush to the aid of their teammates and make the escape attempt futile.

"Ring Stopper, Lock In!" Ran and Hikaru said in unison. The command would cause the Aeon Rings' blades to lock itself shut, preventing any movement from the Scyther-based cyborg monster to easily split the rings.

"Take-chan, leave this to me, pal. "Fist Breaker!" Hikaru said, before pressing down on a button on his control console. This would cause Shinkai-Oh's hands to shoot towards the entrapped monster's body like a projectile, striking its abdomen to weaken the Inhumanoid a little bit more. The projectiles later returned back to Shinkai-Oh's arms.

"Alright, no time to waste, then. Aeonic Saber!" Takeru proclaimed before pressing the buttons to summon the Aeonic Saber once again. The sword would later materialize in the robot's arms, before Shinkai-Oh would then release all of its pent-up energy and charge it into the colossal weapon.

The mecha then began to jump up into the air, with all of the Shinkaigers ready for a kill. Takeru then began proclaiming the finishing blow, as was the norm for him.

"Aeonic Saber: Juuryoku Giri!" ("Aeonic Saber: Gravitational Slash!")

Shinkai-Oh later proceeded to slash Mantis Inhumanoid while it was landing from the previous midair jump, causing the monster to be bisected in two and as a result scream in agony, and the Aeon Rings to be forcibly split into their dual blade forms with the lock being undone, flying away from the dying monster quickly in the fraction of a second. Mantis Inhumanoid then exploded into his second death, The Shinkaigers had gotten themselves another successful victory. However, M.Y.T.H.O.S is not going to be keen on hearing about the news.

Olympus Castle, Kalos

Zeus grumbled annoyingly after seeing the loss of Mantis Inhumanoid from a screen inside of the flying M.Y.T.H.O.S fortress in the courtroom. Hera and Artemis were angry as well due to their defeat by the Shinkaigers, though they were much calmer than Apollo, who suffered a nervous breakdown after being beaten down viciously by Takeru to the point that both the loss of Mantis Inhumanoid and the aforementioned run-in with the Shinkaiger team leader became unbearable to the young man. He has since gotten himself repaired again after that fight, however, in this state, he was calling out Shinkai Red's name and screaming his voice out in anger, as well as banging the walls of his own laboratory repeatedly in insanity.

However, back at the courtroom Zeus later remembered the idea that Artemis had brought up to him, and as a result decided to inform the female general that her idea was being green-lit.

"Artemis." Zeus called out, alerting the woman who was still guarding his consort's throne.

"What is it, Your Imperial Majesty?" Artemis responded back politely.

Zeus however later got straight to the point. "I think we can utilize the plan about marking the Shinkaigers for their own elimination and proceed on putting that into action. What plan do you have in mind here, if I may ask?"

In response, the woman proceeded to let herself sink into her thoughts for a moment, before letting out a sinister smile herself. 'The Shinkaigers wouldn't know what's going to come their way... Eheheheh...'

Guardia Base Kalos, Lumiose City

"So, what is it, Lillie? Do you accept the offer... Or do you decline?" N asked in a calm but threatening manner. He was currently in the briefing room of the Guardia Base after waiting for many hours. It was evening outside, and Lillie would only have time to think about the offer until midnight.

Lillie however kept a soft smile, walking up to the former Team Plasma puppet leader. The Shinkaiger mentor was still reluctant in letting control of the organization be handed over to N, despite the fact that he had already declined the position of Chairman in order to keep the Aether family's hold over the organization, since the late Lusamine was the one who founded the organization anyway and she had wanted Lillie to be the one passing her position down.

"I formally and officially accept, N." Lillie said, shaking hands with her old friend in order to solidify the deal. Ran, Ryouma and Erina kept a neutral expression, while Hikaru was restraining himself from taking out his pent-up emotion at N. Takeru though, was casting an intimidating stare while also remaining calm and stoic.

"Well then, Lillie, it is a pleasure to finally work with you again. I hope we can all get together to amicable terms, then. These negotiations however will continue for a few days, so please expect me to not take up control of the Aether Foundation immediately. Is that able to be arranged, Lillie?" N asked.

"I'm certain it is, N."

N later replied back positively as a result, before eventually making his way out of the room. "Alright, then. Well, I however have some other matters to attend to, so, I guess I will have to meet all six of you together in here at tomorrow noon. Farewell, all of you."

With that, N then later proceeded to make his way out into the city to meet up with his fianceé. However, he was later interrupted by his phone, which would then begin ringing and vibrating, signifying a call.

N later picked up the phone, reading the contact information as someone named 'Kyouhei'. Looking at it, N then smiled, before muttering something to himself among his phone's ringtone sounds. "Kyouhei... You will be happy to hear this."

Author's Note: That's Chapter 7 of Shinkaiger all done! We've finally finished off the unFINISHED business that was left over from Chapter 6. The past few months was holiday season for me in the country where I live, and so as a result I've been trying to continue on writing Shinkaiger in order to not waste time slacking off and ultimately leaving me to continue writing chapters when my personal problems were beginning to become wacky and unpredictable again. Also, kudos to those of you who managed to spot the hidden reference that I've put at the end of the last chapter.

Shinkai-Oh's new combination was supposed to appear in this chapter anyway, and despite how tense and uneasy last chapter had felt to me myself, I think I really, really nailed it on how I was able to write the debut of the EvolBiker. But anyways, Chapter 7 material aside, we'll finally get to Cyllage City in Chapter 8 for Takeru's second Gym Badge (also Hikaru's second one, since he's gotten the Bug Badge off-screen, and oh, yes, we finally get to see his battle prowess!) and we'll also see the long-lasting effects and the impact of the team's identities being exposed to the public by N, who we'll see what his plan is all about in the span of a few chapters.

Yes, for those of you eagle-eyed readers out there, Kyouhei is Nate, the male player character of Pokémon Black2 and White2, who will appear in the next chapter. Also the new character on the block is N's fianceé, who will appear as a recurring character throughout Shinkaiger. Her connection to M.Y.T.H.O.S is explicitly mentioned, as she's a former general of the organization who was freed from Zeus's brainwashing, however aside from being the husband-to-be of his former comrade, Zeus's ties with N is only going to be elaborated upon in later chapters of the story, however, so, stay tuned. Nate also has a particular connection to M.Y.T.H.O.S, but again, not elaborated upon until later chapters. Bare with me on this.

One last treat for all of you, fun fact, I hadn't originally intended for N and Nate and the other characters from the Generation V games to appear in the story itself for that matter, however my co-writer suggested it to me during the planning stages of the story and I ended up liking some of his ideas (which I wouldn't divulge because spoilers) so much that I decided to implement it with a few tweaks that suited my liking a little bit more. And speaking of the devil, he has created a FanFiction account during the time of writing this chapter on persuasion from yours truly, and he has finally got his deserved spot on the credits at the very top of the story, juuust below the disclaimer.
