Castiel findsCrowley(Mark A. Sheppard), and the brothers and Jo break into his mansion. To their surprise, Crowley shoots his henchmen and gives Sam and Dean the Colt on the condition that they use it to kill Lucifer, as he believes that eventually Lucifer will kill his demons after he destroys humanity. Sam, Dean, Ellen, Jo and Castiel head toCarthage, Missouri, which appears deserted except that Castiel sees it is full of reapers. When Castiel investigates, Lucifer captures him and tries to persuade him to join his side. Meanwhile,Meg Mastersconfronts the Winchesters and the Harvelles, sending hellhounds to attack. Jo is mortally wounded and they retreat into a hardware store. Dean confers with Bobby that the reapers are there to wait for their big boss,Death, one of the Four Horsemen. While Jo and Ellen sacrifice themselves to blow up the hellhounds, Dean and Sam confront Lucifer at thebattle sitewhere he has sacrificed the remaining townsfolk to his ritual to summon Death. Although Dean shoots Lucifer with the Colt, Lucifer recovers and heals, revealing himself as one of the five beings that the Colt cannot kill. Castiel tricks Meg into getting out of Lucifer's trap and takes the brothers to Bobby as Death rises. bella and grace Are at the safehouse she is looking out the window with grace in her arms and thinks of the men she loves her older brothers dean sam , bobby and her lover Castiel. Lucifer has Castiel entrapped within a circle ofholy fire. Castiel immediately recognizes that there is something wrong with Lucifer's vessel. Lucifer admits that "Nickis wearing a bit thin," and that his body can't contain him forever. Castiel tells him firmly, "You are not taking Sam Winchester. I won't let you." Lucifer acknowledges his loyalty but expresses frustration that Castiel, of all angels, is fighting against him. Since they were both cast out of heaven for rebelling, he figures that puts them on the same side. If heaven succeeds in killing him, and tell him he knows about sam younger twin sister is his lover and his half human half angel daugter and they Castiel is next on the list. Castiel says he will die before he helps Lucifer and to protect bella and grace castiel told lucifer to leave bella and his daughter out of this further his interests. In the place where Castiel is being held, Meg enters and reports to Lucifer that she's got the Winchesters cornered and asks what she should do with them. She starts to protest when he instructs her to leave them alone. He quiets her and assures her that "everything happens for a reason." He turns to Castiel and offers him a last chance to change his mind and follow him for his lover and daughter life . Castiel, who has been studying the pipe layout overhead while Lucifer and Meg were focused on each other, just throws him an icy look in response.
Back in the ring of holy fire, Castiel is now concentrating on loosening a bolt from the overhead pipe while Meg floats around, grinning with anticipation of Lucifer's takeover of heaven. She's confident that the demons will be going there soon. Castiel says that's not what he's heard. Attempting to keep her distracted as he dismantles the pipe, he tells her that a demon named Crowley is sure that Lucifer is just using demons to achieve an end, and that when he succeeds, he'll destroy them all.
Meg recoils at Crowley's name and tells him he's wrong. Her father and creator walks the earth, as opposed to the deadbeat Castiel calls god. The pipe finally swings free from the wall and shoves Meg through the fire and into Castiel. He attempts to smite her by laying a hand on her forehead, but nothing happens. Meg ridicules his disconnect from heaven, and calls him an "impotent sap." He responds by pushing her facedown onto the fire and walking out over her.

Back at Bobby's place, the television is blaring news reports of a storm system that is devastating several towns in Paulding County, MO; a staggering loss of life and property is predicted. Sam and Dean stand next to Bobby in front of his fireplace as he stares a long time at the photo he made everyone pose for the night before they went to Carthage, and then he tosses it on the fire. Before the screen fades to black, the camera zooms in on Jo's face as Dean watches it burn.
while Castiel went to the safehouse to see bella and grace as he enters and close and locked the door she see him went to him and they hugs each other he kiss her and ask about grace she told him she is sleeping and bella ask what happend he explains to bella about everything he and her brothers went throught a bella told castiel that she is scared of Lucifer and he told her its okay he wont let him get to her brother sam her or there daughter he will protect them she smiles and kiss him and he took her hand they went to see grace in her room where she is asleep in her crib he lean in to kiss her forehead and they leave and quietly shut the door they went to her room and made love during night.
