Gohana landed her jet in front of the school, hoping out. She was still a little annoyed having to do this every morning before school to fit in, But she did it anyway. Maybe once it was common knowledge Videl could fly, she could just fly and say Videl taught her. But for now this would have to do.
The last few days have been rather interesting to watch. She could sense both Videl and Sharpner using their Ki during classes. Though at this point it was mostly them practicing moving it around their body. They would practice making a Ki ball if they were in the back of the classroom. Videl seemed to have an easier time so far with moving it around. She was really glad to see her new students to diligently practicing what she was teaching them. And knowing everything they were being taught already, and she knew if they were practicing their Ki, they wouldn't be paying attention to class, she would make sure to write down what they needed to know about what the teacher was talking about. Even putting her own spin on it to make it easier to explain and understand for them later on.
"Gohana!"
Turning around, she saw Erasa rushing up to her out of breath. She looked like she had been running around for a while now, or just ran really really hard.
"Hey, take it easy Erasa, what's wrong?" Gohana asked a little worried just in case.
"Jake, he suddenly showed up and he's looking pissed! He's yelling at everyone to see you. Everyone is a little scared." Erasa explained rather quickly.
'Damn it, what does he want now?' Thinking back to the last time that she even saw him was when she put him and his buddies in the hospital. Since then she really had not seen him. Where has he been, and more importantly why did he suddenly show up again.
"He isn't hurting anyone, is he?" Gohana asked worried.
"No but everyone is terrified of him, more than usual. I can't explain it." Erasa said starting to walk towards the direction she was coming from originally, Gohana close behind her.
Erasa was right, he did seem different. Not counting he had even more bruises on him than she gave him, but she could also tell he wasn't quiet the same. But she was unable to figure out exactly why. Still she wasn't worried about herself, she was more worried about everyone else. She had no problem putting him in his place, but she didn't know what to expect now. Walking closer to him, she could hear him yelling at everyone, threatening them. This pissed off Gohana and she started walking faster towards him, wanting to just end this before anything got out of hand. There was a small perimeter around him, but this seemed odd to her. If everyone was scared of him, why would they not be running away. Reaching her senses out she tried to figure out what was going on until she recognized not only Jake's ki, but Sharpners.
Quickly running to the circle, she pushed everyone aside and saw Jake going at it with Shaprner. Normally she wouldn't worry too much about Sharpner against him, but she could still tell that he was wearing the training weights still, he was defenseless essentially.
"Fuck off Jake!" Sharpner tried defending himself.
"I can't find her, but I can at least take it out on you!" Jake yelled at him, throwing strikes and a few jabs only with his left arm, his right wrapped up still badly injured from when his shoulder was messed up.
The now top heavy weight of the shirt throws Shaprner off balance and he falls over. Seeing this, Jake takes advantage of the situation and gets ready to throw a strike straight to his throat but he suddenly found he couldn't move. Turning around he saw Gohana holding onto his arm, glaring at him.
"About damn time. I have a bone to pick with you." trying to yank his arm away to which Gohana let him go.
"I told you I will not let you hurt my friends."
"Good, because I don't give a shit about them."
Jake started throwing jabs at Gohana which she easily avoided. But she instantly noticed this was very different to their last brawl. Last time he was throwing punches and jabs, basically boxing mostly. But now it was more like finger jabs, and they were not aiming randomly like he did before. Slowing down her dodging, Gohana decided to at least figure out where he was aiming at. A quick jab towards her lower rib cage, and a follow up towards her lower stomach and throat.
'He's aiming at my vital points.'
Gohana had no clue why his fighting style was so drastically different than when they fought earlier that month, but she knew whatever was different, he was far more dangerous now. Needing to stop this quickly, she easily grabbed his wrist and looked very surprised all of a sudden.
"What the, what was that?" Gohana said confused more to herself than Jake who was snickering back at her.
"You're already dead to stupid fucki..."
A quick knee strike to his stomach caused him to instantly black out. Letting him fall to the ground, Gohana went over to Sharpner. She could tell he was banged up. No surprise there when combined withthe fact he was probably tired from the training weights. Grabbing his wrist, she hit the button to bring them back into the watch.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, he just got the jump on me and got in a pretty good shot is all." Sharpner struggled to answer a little bit as he held his side.
"Are you sure? Do you need to go to the nurses office?" Erasa asked him worried.
"Nah, I just need to catch my breath. The sucker blow he hit me with hit harder than I though." He reassured her.
Satisfied with that for now, Gohana helped him to his feet as he held where Jake had hit him earlier. Gohana was just glad he was alright. Looking around she noticed everyone still staring at her.
"Hey, can we be leaving now? I don't want the attention." Gohana pleaded which he agreed to.
Gohana was glad to be sitting in their classroom now. No one from the crowd earlier was there, which would allow her a little privacy and normality until the whole school heard about what happened. She was still more curious at what happened earlier. she wasn't too worried about it, but she wasn't sure what he had tried to do. Maybe though it was a reflex feeling and nothing to worry about.
"Hey, thanks again Gohana. I seriously need to get better at fighting with the weights on." he said hitting the button to put them back on as he sat
"Well you will eventually be able to fight on par with a normal human while wearing them. But if he ever attacks you again, make sure you take them off!" which Sharpner nodded.
It wasn't long until the bell rang for class to start, and two people were still missing. Jake, most likely in the nurses office if still at school at all, and Videl who was most likely out helping with something. Reaching out, she didn't sense her ki was higher than normal, but was headed this direction. She guessed just five minutes away at the speed she was going at.
Sitting bored in class as usual, Gohana decided to meditate a little bit to get her mind off of earlier this morning. She wasn't worried about the teacher yelling at her. The teachers quickly learned not to try pulling the old 'not paying attention now answer the question' routine as she always answered correctly. One of the perks of having an above graduate level of knowledge and working with the smartest people in the world at Capsule Corp.
The only thing that even remotely caught her attention was when Videl came into class, five minutes into it. But Gohana just went back to her meditation after having to get out of her way. She could hear every thing around her, almost making out every tap of a pencil. A few coughs here and there as well. She went even deeper into her meditation, a specific exercise that Piccolo had told her to practice. Though she had improved on it, he made it clear that she was far from proficient with it. But she needed to improve on it to get stronger.
Sharpener kept coughing a little bit, trying his best to remain silent.
"Hey, you feeling alright?" Erasa asked a little worried. "You catching a cold?"
"Yeah, just feeling a little off. These training weights are no joke. Must be feeling a tad under the weather." He tried reassuring her.
"I guess that makes sense. Videl, you doing alright then with those weights Gohana makes you wear?"
"Yeah, why?" Videl asked a little confused, just getting Erasa to wave off the question.
"Mrs. Satan, would you please tell me the answer that's on the board?" The teacher asked her, having caught her talking.
Videl looked at the question written behind the teacher. She wasn't too sure what it was as she wasn't even focusing on class. She was focusing on trying to make energy balls as quick as she could.
"Um, I'm sorry ma'am. But I don't really know." Videl blushed a bit.
"Then I ask you please pay attention and work out the equations with the rest of the class." she said and continued with teaching them.
Sitting back down, Videl slightly blushed. It was true she wasn't paying attention at all in class. She was too focused on practicing her ki control. She had got proficient enough to feel Sharpner also practicing. Looking over to him, she saw him deep in concentration as he tried making a ki ball as well under the desk. Though it looked like he was having a harder time that she did. Going back to her own, she easy able to make a little orb within just a few seconds.
The door to the class room opened as the principal walked in, causing everyone including Gohana to look over at him.
"Mrs. Son, May I ask you to come with me please?"
All eyes were now on her, and she just looked confused. She noticed everyone was staring but decided to not question it too much. Walking towards the front of the class, she could already hear the chatter going on. Not letting it bother her, however, Gohana followed the Principal to his office. She had no idea what he was going to say, but she had a pretty good idea what it was about.
Sitting behind his oak desk, looking rather nervous at Gohana, the principal was unsure where to even start.
"Mrs. Son, I'm.."
"Can you please just call me Gohana, sir? I hate the formalities." Gohana interrupted him, even demanding everyone at Capsule Corp to do the same.
'It's bad enough at work, I don't want it at school.'
"Um, Mrs. Gohana. This is now the second time a student has been injured by you. And I must say this looks very bad on your part." He started.
"What?! Both time he started it and was attacking my friends! You expect me to just sit back and watch!" Gohana didn't even mean to shout at him.
"Mrs. Goahan, please calm down. I already got statements from some of the witnesses, and they all confirmed exactly what you just said. You are not under any punishment, or scrutiny." Grabbing a small folder, he pulled it in front of him and opened it. Adjusting his glassee, he quickly reconfirmed some of the notes in it.
" According to what i have written in front of me, you passed ever single entrance exam without missing a single question. And all of your teachers have noted that not only do you already appear to know everything, but on numerous occasions have answered questions specifically aimed at you to throw you off." he softly chuckled a bit to him self. "A few that even they cant answer, and had to look them up purposely."
Gohana was very confused as to what this had to do with anything, but she just let him continue reading his notes.
"You are more qualified than probably my entire staff combined. And onto these incidents. This is the second time now you have put the same student in the hospital. And from what others have said, and the rumors, you barely seemed to even attempt to try. Against someone, who though has a documented violent streack, is also one of the most gifted fighters of his age. Being an up and comer in the entire martial arts community in the world."
Gohana of course knew the violent part, but to hear Jake was known for his skills as a martial artist? Now she really wished she hadn't made it seem so effortless. It just made her look more suspicious now.
"Gohana, in light of everything I just said, according to school board regulations I should be expelling you right now. But I am not." He quickly followed up seeing the paniced look on her face.
"I am, however, going to have to ask for an explanation. Why are you even here at Orange Star High School? You could probably get a job even possibly at Capsule Corp with your brain."
'Except im already one the highest paid employee in the entire company.' Gohana nervously smiled awkwardly to herself.
"And why you seem so adept. I already have a call from his father, demanding you to be punished, again. Can I at least ask for an explanation to that as well so I can clear this all up?"
Gohana could tell he was genuinely curious what was going on. Of course she knew why she was here, only to have it on paper she graduated from the best high school in almost the world.
"First, my academics. Well youre right. I could work at Capsule Corp with my brain. But I was home schooled my whole life. And to get into a good college I needed on paper showing a prestigious school."
"But you could easily finish college. Why "
"I plan to just finish an entire masters in about a year. Honestly I already could, but i just need to go through the process."Gohana explained.
"As for taking Jake out. Well, just know Ive been trained by some of the best martial arts masters in the world since i was a kid. And that's all i will say about that matter." Gohana put on a strong face.
Looking at her, he was sure he wouldn't get any answers out of her about anything else, so he decided best to not even push the subject closed the folder and proceeded to take it across to the filling cabinet that he still used. Sitting back down, he took off his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose as he signed. He still had not idea what to even tell Jakes father about this whole ordeal. The last time this happened, he came in personally. And it terrified the man with the reputation that both Jake and his father both had. How could he tell him that nothing will happen to Gohana.
"At the very least, I need something to tell his father. He is already demanding not only you be expelled, but I feel he threatened your life without even realizing he was speaking out loud. I am now more worried about your safety and everyone else's at the school that get on his bad side."
"So Jake's father wants some type of response?"
"Yes, and at this point I am too worried about what will happen! If anything happens to any of the students because of him, it is automatically on me." he explained rather nervously. "I can't handle anything happening to anyone."
Gohana had no clue what he could say that would not only comfort him, but a message that would keep everyone safe. Besides blowing a hole through the wall next to them, what could she even say? Clearly she needed to make sure now that Jake didn't become a threat to anyone else because of her. But she couldn't go around protecting every single person all the time when Jake wasn't at school. And who knows what he is capable of. He already did something she couldn't identify this morning, and to know he was known in the martial arts community. She had to think of something. The only thing she knew was his family was a notorious, and at the same time, world famous martial arts family. But maybe she could use that to her advantage!
"You said his father wanted something to happen from this, right?"
"Well, yes. He was already worried that Jake couldn't take head of the family after you broke his arm last time."
"Then he shouldn't have attacked my friends! Or anyone else for that matter. It's Jake's own fault for attacking anyone in the first place and his father has no buisiness demanding anything." Gohana defended herself.
"Mrs. Son, I am not blaming you, you are not in any trouble. But Mr. Sakito is on his way and he is demanding an answer."
This was getting out of hand now. Last time Sakito threatened them all, and now Jake was in the hospital yet again due to her. She knew his father was rather violent based on their only encounter before now. And there was no doubt that Jake told him about what she did when they cornered her and Erasa.
"When is he getting here?" She asked him.
"Um, he should be here soon." he said worried.
"When he get's here, I want you to leave the room." Gohana gave him a stern look.
"What? I can't leave you alone. It's against policy, not to mention a big safety risk."
"Just trust me. You want to make sure this never happens again, and so do I. And I'm going to put a stop to it now. Unless you'd rather do it yourself?" Gohana said in a rather similar tone to both her mother and Bulma when they wanted something done by anyone.
Unable to really think of some way to end this, he let out a big sigh. He knew that if Gohana could easily handle Jake, and after seeing her last time with Mr. Sakito, then she would be safe. It was still, however, very risky. What would he do if something happened to her? But he did know one thing, no one else had the bravery to stand up to Jake or his family except the young student in front of him. And he could tell she would handle it even if he refused.
"Okay, but how will i know you will be safe?"
"You're just going to have to trust me on this one." She tried reassuring him.
"But I just can't take you on your word alone. I mean I know you are an exceptional Martial Artist in your own right. Much like Mrs. Satan and Mrs. Lao, but i just,"
"You know Lime is a good fighter?"
"Um, well yes. I don't see how that matters, but she ranks just behind Mrs. Satan in all the tournaments. And she is the only other one that can even stay in the ring with Jake. Why does that matter?" He asked confused why it even mattered.
"I'm the one who trained Lime, and she is no where near my level." Gohana answered flatly, causing a bewildered look from him.
She really didn't want to have to explain that part of her relationship with Lime, but she could handle this yet he wasn't letting her. But she had no real way of explaining how she could even handle the situation anyway. She didn't know what she could do to convince him to leave the room so that she could handle this right here and now. And she was running out of time, or so she thought. He didn't say how long, and she didn't even bother to read his ki when they meet. But maybe she still could. Knowing he was world famous, both for fighting and his connections to the yakuza, he had to have a higher ki than average. Reaching out, all she had to do was search for someone that would be angry. And it didn't take long for that to happen either. She could feel a higher than average, very angry ki entering the building. She had no real way of confirming for sure that was him, but given what little she knew about him she could easily guess.
"And I think he's here." Gohana accidentally said out loud without realizing it.
With a confused and worried look, the principal moved over to his phone and picked it up. He didn't even have to ask anything as Gohana could hear Sakito yelling over the phone. The confirmed without a shadow of a doubt she had found his energy easily, and that his Ki was in fact higher than average. A decent amount as well. She guessed about three or four times stronger than the average person. Maybe that was part of the reason everyone seemed so afraid of him. Either way, she needed to handle this fast. Getting up, she pressed the end call button on the desk phone and glared at the principal with her Saiyako scowl.
"Leave the room, and let me handle this!" She said in a commanding tone.
Without arguing, and conceding he wouldn't win this argument, he hung up the phone and stood up to left the room. He was of course still worried about Gohana and her safety. But for some reason, he had a feeling that she truly believed she could handle this whole thing. Standing in the middle of the room with her arms crossed, Gohana just waited for Sakito to get here. She was no longer in the mood to play nice. She knew she had to handle this now, and end this from ever happening again. She could see the principal was worried still, but she just stood there completely calm looking.
It didn't take long for Sakito to enter the main office room. Gohana could hear him yelling all the way down the hall through the closed door. She didn't know if he was just that loud, or just her super hearing, but it didn't matter. The door slammed open, and it seemed many didn't hear him coming as there were a number of people yelling or shrieking in surprise.
"Where the fuck is she!"
"I'm in here you fucking ass hole!" Gohana yelled back, taunting him.
She had to do whatever she could to direct his anger solely on her, and not get anyone else in any potential danger. She already knew he was angry at her, and it was only her she was after anyway. And with his ki strength far greater than anyone else around him he could cause some serious damage to them regardless if he knew how to control his Ki or not. Quickly making his way to the office where Gohana stood, he stormed in and quickly closed the door behind him.
Without him even moving, Gohana could tell something was off. She didn't know what it was, as she really didn't know anything about Sakito so she had no idea what to even expect. Not that it really mattered in the first place as just about anything he tried she could handle anyway. So she didn't think too much on it as it didn't matter.
"My son, he is in the hospital yet again because of you!" he screamed at Gohana.
"Not my fault he attacked me and my friends again after I already warned him last time." Gohana said with a rather bored tone., arms crossed, and a bored expression on her face.
"Last time, he told me what he saw. But I didn't believe it at all. I couldn't." Sakito started.
This caught Gohana's attention. The first time Gohana put Jake in the hospital she had only used her strength and speed, so nothing was really too obvious to link her to Saiyako or the delivery girl. But what was he connecting her to then?
"You're just like them, aren't you?" he said, glaring at her. " I did some digging on you and your family. Son Gohana, not a very common sur name. Your Son Goku's brat."
"Wow, at least one of you have a brain." looking rather annoyed, though she had to admit she was impressed he even bothered to look. It wasn't common knowledge, but was public information, the names of all past Budokai entrants that made it to the main stage. It wouldn't take much work to just look up her name on line and see her father. Harder to find her mom's side of the family, but also doable.
"So its true, you are like them then." He said, slightly trembling as he did so.
"Well, I guess then since you know about my father and my family, then there isn't any reason I need to hold back then." Gohana said as she instantly moved behind him in the blink of an eye.
Looking shocked, Sakito looked around looking for her. Getting a terrible feeling though, he turned around and saw she was standing there in the same position.
"What the hell are you." He glared at her.
Without hesitation, Gohana instantly grabbed him by the neck and held him a few inches above his usual height, causing him to be kicking his feet. He tried slamming his fists into her arm and elbow, and Gohana easily could tell he was going for weak points. Or at least what count's as weak points for most people. She didn't even bother stopping him either just to rub it in how futile it was to even try.
"Your son had better not ever come near me or my friends again. Because the next time he threatens them in any way, I'll make sure he can never fight again." she said glairing and lowered him back to the ground seeing that his face was changing color from slight oxygen deprivation.
"You think you scare me?" he said coughing a little bit as he rubbed his neck.
Gohana didn't even answer him, just kept staring him down knowing that wasn't enough. He knew about her family, and that potentially meant he may know about ki, even if he didn't quiet understand it. But no matter what happened, she had to make sure that this ended one way or another, right here in this room. She didn't want to risk any one else at school being in any danger due to his family.
"It will take more than that to get me to stop. You think that just because your his daughter that I can't handle you?" he said and lunged at Gohana.
Throwing his palm right at her side, Gohana just stood there to take it. Nothing he could do would even bother her in the first place so she didn't even bother. His palm, hitting her right under her rib cage, barely registered much to her as his hand felt like he simply placed it there. But suddenly, Gohana felt a pressure rush into her. With a look of shock, she instantly recognized this same feeling from this morning. With the exception that this was more clear, more powerful. The worst part, she could tell what was supposed to be happening.
'He can use ki?'
"You just lost, bitch. You'll be lucky if you can even stay on your feet soon."
Without even seeing anything, he suddenly found himself doubling over in extreme pain as Gohana's knee found itself smashing into his gut. To prevent him from flying backwards, Gohana held onto his cloths and easily held him in place and she grabbed a hold of his neck again and trying with all her might to not crush his neck. As she let her free hand tremble as she was trying to contain her ki to only that hand, her Super Saiyan ki violently swirling around her fist. He was holding onto her wrists, trying to breath. But between having the wind knocked out of him just now, and unable to even take much of any air in due to his neck slowly being held shut, he couldn't take his eyes off of her free hand as electric arcs swirled around it.
"What did you just do!" Gohana's voice lowered in such a way it caused the hairs on Sakito's neck to stand on end.
He just struggled in the air, kicking his feet and trying to say something. He now knew what he was dealing with, and how outclassed he was. He never did fully master Ki, but he knew enough. More than enough to threaten anyone that had no knowledge of such things. But to actually manifest it visually, she was on another level than he was. He knew this, and the moment Gohana threw him backwards to the ground, he tried desperately to get his breath back. Gohana's aura somewhat softly flared around her, as her hair softly lifted, but not enough to trigger her Super Saiyan state full on so her hair remained jet black. Walking the few steps to him, she glared down at him.
"If you don't tell me now," She aimed a gun finger right beside him, and shot a weak ki blast that just grazed his face causing it to start bleeding rather quickly.
Catching his breath a little bit, he looked up at her wondering why even though she was so much stronger than him that it did nothing to her. Even someone with a general knowledge on how to handle ki should be in pain from that technique. Doubled over instantly in fact. And even though he still never did manage to master ki manipulation, it had still worked well for him every other time he had ever tried useing it. It was how he rose to the top, and how he had become so feared in the Yakuza presence in the city. And throughout the world.
"What did you just do?" Gohana threatened again, with a good pause between each word as she aimed another ki blast point blank at his face to threaten him.
"I, would be more...worried...about if Jake...use it on...your friends." he sneared at her, still struggling to cath his breath. If he couldn't actually hurt her physically, then getting to those that could be hurt was the next best thing to him.
With that sudden realization, she reached out her senses to Sharpner. Jake had attacked him earlier today and he had been acting odd since then with his coughing. His energy was easy enough to find in class, his ki was already stronger than most, especially learning to use his ki just made it more easy to find. But without trying she could easily tell something was wrong. She couldn't tell specifically what was the matter, but his energy seemed very disrupted. And she could tell that he was very injured.
Looking down at Sakito, he still couldn't catch his breath, but he wouldn't let that evil grin of his off his face. He still thought that he had the upper hand.
"I...made sure...he could do...something against the...likes of you." He managed to get out through breaths, though slowly able to now take deeper breaths and get more air.
Having had enough, and now worried for her friend, Gohana quickly knocked him out by hitting his neck. Not really caring too much if it did manage to cause some damage at the moment, but she wasn't trying to hurt him. Without warning, she quickly ran to the door and flung the door open as she ran out.
"Mrs. Son!" the principal tried to stop her and looked in, finding Mr. Sakito unconscious on the floor.
As soon as Gohana had closed the office door, she quickly speed up to he class room, not caring if anyone else saw her moving so fast. Throwing the classroom door open, and surprising everyone, she quickly ran to her seat. Every eye now on her, especially Sharpners as he could tell she was staring at him. He had no clue what was going on but he was used to weird stuff between Videl, and now Gohana, so it didn't surprise him too much.
"Yeah Gohana?" Sharpner asked.
"You're hurt! Why didn't you say anything!" Gohana nearly yelled.
Videl and Erasa both looked at Sharpner in surprise, neither of them even noticing that he was hurt and they have been near him this entire time. How did Gohana know that he was hurt?
"What are you talking about Gohana? I'm fine." Sharpner said in response, now looking a little nervous as he tried to stifle a cough
Gohana could tell from his expression that he was lying, and even from his Ki as well something was wrong. Quickly glancing around his body, she tried to see if she could quickly get an idea of where he was hurt, but she couldn't really pinpoint anything. She never did learn to do it, only to find something in general. Quickly finding his hand though, she thought she saw something on it.
"What's on your hand?" Gohana asked, afraid she already knew the answer, and it now became noticable to her nose.
"It's nothing." hiding his hand more.
Quickly grabbing his hand and pulling it out from under the table, she saw some blood on his palm, he was trying to hid it. But there wasn't any cuts or damage on his hand? Where did the blood come from? Why was he hiding it? then she could start smelling fresher blood.
"Mrs. Son, may I ask what is so important that you are now disrupting my class. What is so important that not even you can't wait a little longer for?" The teacher tried to ask her.
Gohana didn't even acknowledge the teacher as her focus was fully on to Sharpner at the moment. He was coughing, and now she could smell it. He was bleeding internally. Jake did try to kill him, and her. She didn't know if he was just so weak and failed to instantly do it, or if the technique was designed to take time, but she didn't care.
"You're coming with me, now!" Gohana said and quickly grabbed his wrist and started pulling him through the class.
"Mrs. Son, what exactly do you think you are doing taking my student?" the teacher tried taking control of the situation.
Sharpner just looked worried, not sure what was happening, but didn't even bother resisting. He knew there was nothing that he could do about it no matter how hard he tried, even if he wasn't in so much pain.
"Mrs. Son!" the teacher yelled at her as she stood in front of her to block her. "I will not allow either you nor Mr. Sakito to be dismissed like this."
"If I may Miss. "Videl stood up and started.
"You may not Mrs. Videl, I give you an exception due to your helping the city. But I will not let any other student just leave without a good reason."
Glancing over at Sharpner, Gohana quickly grabbed his hand and held it out so it could clearly be seen. Noticing the blood all over Sharpners palm, the teacher shivered a little as her face went slightly pale.
"I'm taking him whether you like it or not! Videl, when you get out of class call me and I'll give you directions to where we are!"
After seeing the blood and the seriousness on Gohana's face, the teacher stepped aside for her and watched as they quickly went out the door.
Gohana led Sharpner through the school and up towards the roof. Sharpner knew he couldn't hide it, but assumed that she was taking him to the hospital. But they were only a couple of blocks from one. Why would the be going to the roof? It would have taken more time to get in an airship and get there than just walking would. Still, he was in pain and decided to just trust Gohana. He failed to hid it form her, so he knew she knew exactly what she was doing.
Expecting her to pull out a capsule to fly them, Gohana just opened the door to the roof and without warning got behind Sharpner. Grabbing him around the waist Gohana jumped up in the air and started flying. It surprised Sharpner a little bit, but he already had Goten do the exact same thing twice before so he was at least a little more prepared. Gohana slowly picked up speed as to not cause any more damage to Sharpner than already had been done, she headed towards West City.
Bulma sat under the shade of her umbrella, sipping her smoothie as she continued to go over her notes. She had been working on something new the last few weeks, and didn't want to start the physical modeling until she was certain that she got the science of it perfectly, or at least close to it. Looking over the blue prints of it thought, she knew she was on the right track. A vast majority of the frame work had already been done by Dr. Giro on 16, 17, and 18, but she still needed to figure out the bio feedback part of the equation before she could start prototyping the newest line of prosthetic limbs. She couldn't use 18 as a model, she had already even talked it over with her before finding out it was useless since Giro never took out her nervous system, and 16 didn't have any bio feedback.
"Hey mom." Trunks said coming out to see her.
"Oh, hey there Trunks sweety. Is something up?"
"Dad just threw me out of the Gravity Chamber again! Can you tell him to let me back in?" Trunks pleaded with his mom really wanting to train with his dad.
"Why would he throw you out?" she looked not too surprised.
"Well, he said that he was trying something and didn't want any distractions. And then just threw me out."
Bulma couldn't help but chuckle softly, knowing full well Trunks wasn't exaggerating when he said he was thrown out. Vegita literally does throw out not only Trunks, but Goten and Raina as well, if they bother him too much during his training.
"Well then what was he doing that you were interupting him?" Bulma asked trying to be the voice of reason to Trunks.
"That's the weird thing, he wasn't doing anything. He was just sitting there not moving. He didn't even have the gravity on."
Bulma did catch onto that, knowing what Trunks meant. To hear Vegita actually meditating?
'Maybe Gohana is rubbing off on him.' she thought to himself.
Without warning, Gohana landed right next to her carrying someone.
"Oh wow I was just thinking about you kiddo!" Bulma said happy to see Gohana.
"Bulma, I need to get him to a med pod now!" Gohana yelled.
Bulmaa didn't recognize who she was carrying, but she saw the blood along his mouth as Gohana held him.
"Follow me!"
It didn't take long for them to get to the med pods. Gohana just looked at her friend as he floated in the tub with the breathing mask on. Knowing that he was now going to be safe, she sighed with relief. When he had started coughing up blood violently and then passed out on the way here, Gohana was terrified. She had no idea what was happening. And his energy was dropping the entire time as well. Luckily they didn't get him in at the brink of death, but his ki was far weaker.
"Alright, now that it taken care of, may I ask who this is?" Bulma asked.
"Oh sorry Bulma. This is my friend, one of the ones I'm training. I'll introduce you properly after he gets out."
"Sounds like a plan. But can I ask exactly what happened?" Bulma asked concerned.
"He was attacked by this kid at school. And while that doesn't sound too bad, he's the son of the Sakito dojo. Apparently his father taught him something. His father can use ki somewhat, though not like what we do. He taught his son something, and he used it on him. Me as well, but it didn't seem to do anything to me from either him or his father."
"Wow now there is a name that even I know of. Though I didn't know his family owned a Dojo."
Gohana didn't even need to ask how she knew the name, she could guess Bulma knew of his last name. She was still more worried about what Jake and his father had tried on both of them. Maybe if she knew, she could better prepare both Videl and Sharpner. Still she hoped she would know soon.
"Well in the mean time, would you mind following me? I could use that brain of yours for something. And I'm sure you are hungry as well." trying to break the tension.
"Yeah, sure. I know Sharpner is going to be fine now. Lead the way." Gohana said, glad she had something to take her mind off this. She really thought Shaprner was going to die on the way over here, but knowing that he was now fine, she was glad for a distraction until Videl got there.
