Okay, wow. idk why bit I reread every chapter and realize dhow many inconsistencies I have from years ago when I started this with mor eleventh chapters. so if you picked up on them, my bad
Videl kept glancing around, not that she could even see. The blindfold was making it impossible for her to even see to begin with. So why was she even looking around for? But it made everything else far more sensitive. Even her labored breathing was far more noticeable to her, she was just trying to catch her breath as sweat kept dripping off her as her body was trembling.
'Damn it, what is she going to do next?' Videl though to herself, trying to control her breathing.
She was not sure how much longer she could handle this! Gohana instisted she does this blindfolded. Videl was extremely nervous about it obviously! But Gohana was so adamant she had to use it. The anticipation was killing her.
Videl quickly dodged to the right, narrowly avoiding the punch Gohana had thrown. Grabbing her arm, Videl managed to use Gohanas momentum to flip Gohana onto the ground. Gohana hit the ground, hard! But she quickly rolled over and tried throwing another kick at her.
Videl was easily able to dodge it as well with how slowly Gohana was moving, she could still sense her ki as high as it kept going. Gohanas slow speed was easily detectable by Videl.
Videl threw a few punches of her own at the ki signiture. She could almost see her body shape in her mind based on her ki. She aimed for her stomach, deciding to try hitting the biggest target she could. It landed dead smack onto Gohanas stomach, though it didn't hurt her all that much.
Gohana didn't waste time and grabbed her arm and spun Videl around towards the wall behind. Videl couldn't react fast enough and slammed hard into the wall of the gravity chamber. Gohana did throw her a bit harder than she meant to, And Videl had to call it.
"Out."
Gohana calmed down and went over to her and held her hand out. Videl could still sense her and grabbed it as she covered her nose with the other. She did face slam into and wall afterall.
"Damn, I thought I had you!" she said and removed the blindfold.
"Well whatda you say we call it a day?" Gohana offered. "We have been at it for a few hours now."
"No way. I got a lot of catching up to do. And ten times gravity is starting to feel pretty natural now."
Videl had spent the last two weeks being trained insanely hard by Gohana. While she could move around in ten times gravity just fine, it wasnt the highest she could manage. She had been able to build up to fourty. And with only two more weeks until the Budokai, she was more determined than ever to reach her goal of fifty times by then.
"Fine, a small break then." Gohana went over to their backpack and grabbed the sandwiches her mom had packed. Not that it would have been an issue, she could have just gone to the kitchen if they wanted something.
"Here!" Gohana handed her a sandwich that was very flat. "Just don't tilt it."
Videl couldn't help but laugh a little at seeing the misshapen form of a sandwhich under the higher gravity.
"So those are the same bracers you and Vegeta were wearing that one time, right?" Videl finally asked, Gohana having put them on after Videl was blindfold. It was Gohana's handicap.
"Yup. And fucking hell these make even walking difficult." Gohana managed to eat her sandwhich as well, though Videl could tell her muscles were having a hard time.
"Hey, so with the higher gravity, how much are you wearing? Does the gravity chamber multiply those as well?" She asked and started eating her food.
"Oh yeah, it's sorta a reverse gravity chamber in a way and only increases the weight of the bracers. And the chamber adds to it. In total it's 65 tons right now."
Videl was wide eyed in shock, she was wearing that much weight!?
"Its pretty difficult right now though, I actually have to try right now!" Gohana said and took another bite.
"Phh, yeah, until you go all super and then it's a cakewalk." Videl huffed and took another bite herself.
"Oh come on, this puts us at equal footing and im even slower than you with these!" Gohana tried reasoning. "Besides I didn't transform at all."
"Really? Cuz from what I recall even Vegeta and Piccolo can't sense the difference unless your ki is high enough?" Videl said in a very suspicious tone and glanced over at her from the corner of her eye.
"What? No really! I didn't transform all, I Swear!" Gohana started getting flustered.
Videl just laughed at this, causing Gohana to look a bit confused.
"Relax you goofball, I'm just messing with you."
Gohana sighed with relief at that and resumed eating.
'Its so cute how flustered she gets.' Videl just smiled, watching Gohana eat.
Gohana noticed Videl just staring at her and reached towards her mouth.
"Oh, Do I have something on my face?" She asked and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, finding nothing.
"Mmm, no. Nothing yet." Videl leaned over and kisses Gohana's cheeck causing a huge smile.
"Gohana!" The door slammed open, ruining the nice moment between them.
"What Vegeta!" Gohana groaned.
"You two have hogged the gravity room for several hours, now let me have it back."
"I told you Vegeta, I need to use these and a gravity room. And I cant take these out of the building and my gravity chamber is too big for the building." Gohana holding up the gravity shackles on her wrists and ankles.
"I don't care! Why do you even need to train with her anyway?"
"Why are you training with Piccolo, and asked 18 to spar as well?" Gohana shot back knowing what he was insinuating.
Vegeta didn't have an answer, but seemed surprised and embarrassed that Gohana knew he had talked to 18 in the first place. Vegeta just scoffed.
"How much longer do you need?" he finally asked.
"Well actually, if you're wearing sixty-five tons, and I'm in ten times gravity, why not just spar outside but have them at sixty? It should still be even?" Videl asked trying to appease them both.
"Oh, um I guess. There is another sparring room in the building but we'd have to keep it to no ki usage. And it only goes to two tiems gravity. its the public version." Gohana said, thinking outloud..
"Good problem solved. Now get out! I haven't gotten a regular training session in for almost a week! And I'd like to do some training." Vegeta tried rushing them out of the room.
Gohana stood up and finished her sandwhich.
"Just give us one more hour and you can have the chamber to yourself. Or you can just work in with us." Gohana offered. "Videl, you want to try twenty times?"
"I'm not going to share my own damn room with you!" Vegeta barked.
Videl looked back and forth between them, not sure exactly what to do. But she finished her sandwhich and stood up.
"Sure, twenty is fine." Gohana went over to the console, but pulled up the remote console control for the gravity shakles.
Reducing the weight on them and bumping the gravity up to twenty, Gohana made sure the overal weight she was wearing was still the same.
"You can spar without the blindfold this time so you can stay out of Vegetas way." Gohana told Videl as she activated the new gravity setting.
Vegeta having enough of this, decided to force Gohana out. He marched right up to her, and scowled. Gohana looked confused as to what he was going to do, though she didnt feel like she was in any danger, or Videl. Vegeta put a hand out in front of her suddenly and blasted her with a ki blast. It didnt even effect Gohana but it did cause the area around her to smoke, causing Gohana to start coughing.
"Vegeta, what the hell was that?" She asked confused between coughs, Videl just looking shocked.
"So, you going to continue sparring without a top on?" He asked.
Gohana looked down and noticed he had blasted her top off. Well, it was still there, but it was barely holding on and didn't hide anything as the front was in taters. Gohana quickly covered herself up and slammed her fist straight into Vegetas face.
"You fucking Jerk! Fine, have the damn room if you want it that badly." Gohana walked over and grabbed her backpack.
She took of the gravity shakles off as well and put them into their storage container in the main container for the room, and stormed off. Videl quickly followed behind her blushing.
Now that he had the chamber to himself, he went and locked the door. Returning to the console, he keyed in five hundred. He knew he could manage that just fine.
"Now maybe I can try what Piccolo suggested for my own training."
Gohana, still covering herself up, walked through the halls towards her room, visibly annoyed. A few of the workers that they passed were a bit confused at first, but they all quickly guessed what happened and didn't think much of it.
"I can't believe he actually did that. Thats really inappropriate! Why would he even have the guts to do that?" Videl finally spoke up.
"Ehh, he's just proving how badly he wants the chamber. Besides it's not like my top never gets destroyed while sparring, he just knows outside of that i dont like it." Gohana sighed.
"Wait, you still continue if that happens?" Videl asked surprised and blushing.
"Well, it doesn't happen that often. And even then it's when we really go at it. So usually neither of us even care anyway."
Videl wasn't sure what surprised her more. The fact Gohana didn't care she was topless in those situations, or she even could continue topless in the gravity they used to begin with.
"Hey um, about that. I can't go in without that special sports bra you and Bulma make me. Otherwise my chest hurts too much. How the heck can you handle that if it gets destroyed?" Videl asked.
Gohana picked up what she meant and recalled a fun conversation years ago between her, Lime and of course, Vegeta.
"Yeah, Lime said the same thing actually. Honestly they get used to it and the tendons and tissues toughen up and can handle it just fine. Lime even mentioned hers looked better as a result, and she can handle it now just fine without one even at a hundred. As for me, we'll Saiyan's evolved on a planet with ten times Earths gravity by default. So for me it's never really been an issue even at higher gravities because of that." she explained rather casually.
Videl just nodded, understanding that overall.
Now at her room, Gohana opened the door and they both went in. Videl hadn't really seen Gohana's room here yet. She noticed that dispite how large it was compared to her room at home, it still seemed really simple. Except there was more work related stuff on the table.
"So then why did you and Bulma develop them then? I mean if you don't need them, why make them in the first place?" She asked as she looked around and found a chair to sit in.
Gohana blushed a bit, but let her arm down as she went to her dresser and pulled put a random sleeveless t-shirt and put it on.
"Well, obviously my mom eventually demanded I wear a bra. At first she didn't mind me not wearing one too much. But obviously as I kept growing she eventually forced me. I mean I get it, but I just found them so uncomfortable. So I figured why not use Saiyan material to make one, and mom thought it was a okay compromise because they acted like one and were comfortable."
"So what makes Saiyan material so special?" she asked not really every tried testing it out. Granted she didn't know it was special other than she wore it specifically when in higher gravity and it was the only way her chest wasn't in pain.
Gohana rummaged through her dresser through some of her older cloths. She never got ride of anything. Finding what she was looking for she grabbed one of her older sports bras and held it up.
"Think this would fit me?" She asked, it being much smaller than what she usually wore.
"What? Um, no? Your current ones already look like they're perfecly tailored to you, and that one looks tiny by comparison. " Videl answered with a questioning tone. It looked way to small but she knew Gohana had a point, and figured she should just watch.
Gohana turned around and took her shirt back off and just put the sports bra on. Videl couldn't help but blush a bit seeing Gohana change right in front of her like that.
Turning around, Videl was surprised to see it looked like it fit her just fine.
"What the? No way, it was smaller than the ones you usually wear but it looks fine when wearing it." Videl said confused.
"Yup! Supportive and tight, but it will expand to many times it size without ripping. Thats why its so comfortable. " Gohana grabbed one of the straps and pulled it straight over her head to prove her point, before putting it back.
Videl went over to her and grabbed some of the material in front and pulled it apart. She was surprised by how it stretched. She could tell she was trying to pull it apart bit how effortlessly it stretched. Gohana was blushing a bit having Videl this close to her like this.
"So Saiyan material expands? Why would it need to do that?"
Oh right, Gohana never explained oozaru to her, or anything about that part of being a Saiyan.
"Oh well, Saiyans if we see a full moon then we change into a giant ape. Like a hundred foot tall or something."
Videl looked in shock, and the questions running through her mind was obvious on her face. Especially since they planned a date tonight for dinner, and sky watching, during a full moon!
"Oh don't worry, we need our tails to transform!" Gohana quickly tried easing the obvious worry on her face.
"Wait, tails?" Videl looked even more confused. Did Gohana ever mentioned she used to have a tail?
She'd seen Gohana wear skin tight clothing, including what she's wearing now, and swim suits multiple times As well as virtually nothing in the locker room when changing. Vegeta as well in his training shorts like Gohana's, he didnt have a tail either. And she's sure if the kids had tails they'd be showing then off all the time. What was she talking about?
"Oh well Saiyan's are born with tails. Bulma had Trunk's removed fearful of him transforming. And after Goten changed on accident when he was two, mom got theirs removed as well."
"Okay, then what about you and Vegeta? When did you get yours removed?"
"Actually we didn't. Ours just didn't regrow back." She shrugged, never having a clue why. Vegeta even said they could regrow back even at old age, so theirs not regrowing always confused them. Not that they cared either way though.
"That's kinda cute actually, you with a tail." Videl smiled.
"Well mom has some pictures of me with mine when I was little. Before we knew about it and everything."
Videl made a mental note to ask Chichi to see some pictures of Gohana when she was little. She was curious what her tailed looked like.
Gohana's wrist watch beeped, Videl instinctually woundering what's happening before remembering Gohana's was set for a meeting she had. That's partially why they were training here today. That and Bulma wanted to help Gohana get ready for their date today. And their date was in West City and Videl could just fly over in her hover jet to not mess up whatever Erasa decided to do.
"Well, I gotta get ready for my meeting. So I'll see you tonight." Gohana smiled.
Videl, who was already really close, just leaned fully into Gohana and kissed her deeply. Gohana held onto her and kissed back.They had slowly been getting more affectionate the last few weeks, though more in private.
"Then I'll see you tonight. I cant wait to see what Bulma does with you." Videl smiled, knowing Bulmas style.
Gohana just blushed, but didnt let Videl go. She just enjoyed holding onto her.
"Yeah, I cant wait."
Gohana sat talking with some of the other mechanics. They were going over some of the issues with some of the new machinery. It would get off kilter, and seeing as part of the internal components were spinning, they needed to figure it out, and fast.
"We've looked at it and we can't quiet figure out what is wrong with it. I mean the machine does what it's supposed to do." One of the engineers was talking over with Gohana.
Ryder looked at the schematics, being partially involved in its construction. Though they were never officially involved until recently thanks to the newly signed contract, it was a collaborative effort they had. And Ryder wanted to check how Gohana managed under pressure.
"Well, it does seem to be working. The power output is working just fine. Good thing it's so heavy or else it would be flying all over the place." Gohana was looking over the schematics as well.
"Well, how often does it start acting up?" Gohana asked, looking at the machine in question.
It took up neay the entire wall. They would have secured it even more but at this stage the cords had to be placed underneath. It was also still in prototype anyway.
"Not that often. I'd say maybe one a week. It just almost topples over every single time."
"So it's a safety hazard. Okay well we really need to fix this. Or unfortunately we have to scrap the idea. Or just scale it up for the time being, but that would be counterintuitive to the entire point of the project ." Gohana kept glancing over the notes.
"Well, hopefully we could get it to work without resorting to that" Ryder said and walked over to chat with the technicians looking it over.
"So what are you thinking Gohana." Mary asked.
Gohana was taking mental notes about a lot of the components, and the arrangement. Though she did think she saw a solution, if only temporary. A lot of the heavier pieces could be rearranged and lowered more towards the center, and the other components that were lighter being on top. They would need to scrap the current design and completely start over. And slightly redesign the thing.
"I think I see a solution. But it will be a entire months work probably."
"That's great to hear! A slight delay and we can get this bad boy going!" Ryder slapped the side of the machine.
Unfortunately, that slap was enough to set off the carefully calculated centripetal momentum the energy source was designed around. The machine shook violently suddenly, causing those near it to jolt in surprise, including Gohana.
A metal shreak filled the air as the front legs of the machine gave away. The machine quickly tilted forward, and the momentum of the power source quickly knocked it over. Ryder and the two assistance barely even had time to budge before the seveal ton machine came crushing down.
Ryder covered his face but soon realized, he could still hear it. And he wasn't in pain. They looked up and saw Gohana holding the machine up.
"Mary, turn the machine off, quick!" Gohana quickly shouted at her.
Mary quickly ran to a side consol and hit the emergency shut off swich. The power generator of the machine stopped spinning and made it far easier for Gohana to control it. While it wasn't heavy, having something spinning around inside did make holding it up from such a narrow point. annoying.
"Well, get out of the way!" Gohana shouted to them as they stood their or on the ground frozen in place.
They quickly got out of the way and watched As Gohana gently was able to set it down. Luckily anything sensitive was contained inside or on one of the sides. The frame of the machine sunk inward at the front so all the conrolls and panels weren't in contact with the ground.
Gohana just nervously turned around, staring at them. Only Mary had known, and technically from a similar situation. Though it was Vegeta that saved her then, she had put two and two together for Gohana.
"Holy shit Gohana...that was..." One of the scientists was on shock.
"That was amazing! How did you do that?" Ryder was in shock, and slight disbliefe.
But he saw her hold the machine up himself. He knew it was almost five tons in total, and Gohana had just caught it, while falling! That would have easily magnified the force needed to even stop it let alone so casually.
Gohana reflexively rubbed her left arm and looked away a bit
"Oh, um well I guess the important thing is everyone's safe, right?" Mary tried to break the silence.
"Oh, yes of course." Ryder said.
"It's okay, we all have out secrets. Even individual people. You just saved our lives, and I wont ask how." he placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her, Gohana visibly relaxing and sighing in relief.
"I do believe you had a possible solution as well, yes? Let's set up a follow up and we can go over it." He followed up.
"Huh? oh, yes of course."
"Can we do tonight?" he asked.
"Oh, I would but..." Gohana blushed a bit. "I sorta have a date tonight." She sheepishly replied.
"Oh, a lucky man then awaits. I shouldn't take the night away from you both." Ryder understood the importance of having a personal life in addition to a work life.
"Oh, um yeah. She wouldn't like it if I canceled on her. We've been waiting a few weeks for the reservation." Gohana said with a sheepish smile.
"Ah, then in that case I'll have my secretary get in touch and plan it out."
Gohana nodded, knowing outside tonight and the Budokai in two weeks, she really didn't have anything planned outside school so should be pretty easy to get it set up.
"Looking forward to fixing this!" Gohana said happily.
"I still can't believe he saw you do that but just brushed it off so casually." Bulma said as she continued to try pulling Gohana's hair a bit.
She was so used to it being longer, that now it being much shorter was a bit of a different thing for her. Still, she was able to work her magic and was able to do what she wanted. With some modifications that is.
While Bulma didn't do to much with the front, she was able to get the rest of her hair pulled back. And instead of a pony tail, she was able to get it into a balled up in a loose bun. Though some small strands did stick out a bit. Gohana had to admit this did look good.
Bulma did use some hair product to help style Gohanas wild bangs a little bit, but more so to keep it out of her face just slightly. The usual strands the were somewhat in her face were now slightly parted a llittle. It gave her a somewhat softer look. Bulma stood back to admire her work.
"I think we got it. Now just a little makeup."
Gohana just sighed a lite bit. She did agree to one day let Bulma dress her up for a date. And Bulma felt a little jealous that Chichi already got to do so when they went to the fair. But they were going to Blue Moon over Avila. One of the fanciest and best rated restaurants in the world! Bulma had to pull some strings to get a reservation for them even. So Gohana was letting her do whatever she wanted. Not that she didn't trust her anyway.
Bulma put on a very subtle shade of lipstick on. It was almost like the one she had her wear when signing the contract. Though this was a tad more noticeable. But it didnt stand out super hard either.
Bulma stepped back and looked Gohana over. She could in her mind put the dress over her, who right now she was just in some fancy laced bra and panties, also to Gohana's annoyance but she would suck it up for Videl.
"Hold it right there Kiddo, I gotta go get something." Bulma quickly left her room.
Getting up, Gohana went over to the dress Bulma had picked. It reminded her somewhat of the oriental styled dresses her mom picked out for her. Although this didn't have as fancy designs, it was just a somewhat darker blue dress with some golden accents. Though in the light it looked a bit brighter.
Bulma came back into the room and walked up to Gohana, putting on glasses. Gohana was surprised she was suddenly wearing glasses.
"Just fake lenses, more for the look. I think it suits you!" Bulma winked.
Gohana looked in the mirror and saw the thinly framed red oval glasses she was now wearing. And with the light makeup and her hair pulled back, Gohana couldn't help but blush at seeing herself.
"I think everyone se in the restaurant will be jelous." Bulma praised her.
Gohana just blushed though. She did have to admit they did look good on her. Even though it was just for show, she looked really cute even by her standards. And she didn't really have much if a typical girl sense of style or finess to begin with.
"I dont know, do you think this is too much though?" Gohana asked.
"Gohana, most people have to wait half a year or more. And I had to pull some strings to get this for you both so last minute. And besides, don't you want to look good for Videl?"
"Of course I do, I..." Gohana blushed having responded without even thinking.
"Look, it's obvious you care about her. There's nothing wrong in being a bit fancier from time to time. Especially considering you can rock it!"
'That and your mom and I planned styles to make you look good for a boy.' Bulma though, deciding to just go with that anyway. As they just planned around how good Gohana looked to begin with so this didn't change too much.
"I guess."
"Now hurry up and put on the dress and high heels."
Gohana was able to easily get the dress on. Though she wasn't used to how much it showed off her figure. And she was especially nervous how much it showed her cleavage. She never was used to that.
"Don't you think it's a bit to revealing?" Gohana asked.
"Girl, you literally walk around wearing skin tight shorts and a top that basically just covers you up! How's this any different?" Bulma pointed out.
Gohana never honestly thought of it that way and didnt have an answer to that. And the dress did technically covered up more in that point of view than even what she spared in usually.
Gohana did turn in different ways to get a better look at herself in the mirrors. The back showed a decent amount of her back as well, and the dress flowed down to her just above her ankles. The slit along one leg allowed for movement. Though Bulma did have it altered somewhat to allow even more movement without looking like it did. She did that specifically for Gohana.
"I feel so silly being dolled up like this." Gohana smiled and blushed, hoping Videl would like how she looked.
"You got the looks kiddo! Nothing wrong with showing it off from time to time." giving her a thumbs up.
Gohana returned looking at hers in the Mirror. Thinking about it, if Videl showed up looking like this, she would think it was amazing. So why shouldn't she do the same? Besides she knew Erasa would be dressing her up, and she was even more into fashion than even Bulma.
"Oh and just one more thing!" Bulma handed Gohana her necklace she usually wore as it fit and some simple teardrop blush white dangling earrings.
Gohana put the necklace on easily, but once she got to the earrings...
"Um, how do I put these on?" Gohana asked realizing she's never actually worn earrings.
Bulma grabbed them and clipped them onto her ears, knowing she couldn't use regular ones.
Bulma took a step back and pulled her phone out. She admired her work before snapping several pictures. Gohana quickly took notice after hearing a few shutter noises
"Bulma!" Gohana was blushing.
"Sorry kiddo, moms orders. She gets pictures"
Gohana just blushed and rubbed her neck nervously. She didnt even usuly get this dressed up for parties. Her mom would flip if she saw her like this, though in a good way.
"Now, the restaurant is only a few blocks from here. And it's still early enough so let's hurry and I'll fly you over." Bulma started nudging Gohana out of the room.
Gohana was quick to oblige and headed out of the room. She had admitt she was very nervous! She could feel the butterflies in her stomach. Right now all she cared about was hoping Videl thought she looked nice.
"Seriously Erasa?" Videl blushed looking at the outfit Erasa had prepared for her.
"Oh come on V, you've worn dressed before!"
"Yeah but nothing as fancy as that!"
Videl looked over the dress Erasa was holding. Videl knew she'd barely be able to move much given how close it would hug her and show off her figure. And the top was designed to specifically show off her chest, which Videl was nervous about. It didn't have any sleeves either, just stopped at the chest. And the back was designed to leave her back open as the material clng and went down toward basically the small of her back.
'How the hell does that even stay on?' Videl though.
"V, you love Gohana right?" Erasa stated the obvious.
"Ah...well, yes." she very quickly started poking her fingers in shyness.
"And you want to make her happy, right?"
"Y-yes?"
"Then on a fancy of a date like this, you gotta dress nicely! Do it for her!"
"Why do I feel you specifically choose that like i was dating a guy?" Videl pointed out the obvious.
"Well, to be completely honest I actually did pick this out for you with that in mind." Erasa laughed a little bit.
"But..."
"And i choose it specifically because of how good you will look in it! I figured it wouldn't matter either way."
Videl knew she'd end up wearing it anyway, so why keep arguing? Besides it wasnt Iike she was opposed to looking nice on occasion, especially for Gohana. But did Erasa have to make the dress so darn revealing!
"Now i know for a fact you dont have any bras that will go with it so I brough over some strappless and invisible strap bras to go with it."
"Of course you did." Videl gave up fighting and sighed.
"Hey you can wear your usual shorts underneath if you really want to." Erasa tried to cheer her up.
"But the bra's come with matching underwear, yeah yeah. Just help me find whateve you think would match the dress the best."
Erasa made Videl hold the dress up to her so she could get a better idea. Since Videl basically gave her the go ahead to do whatever, Erasa choose a strapless pushup bra to to with it. It was even the same color, well close enough to the same color, that it would blend well.
Erasa gave Videl some privacy to change from caual loungewear to the outfit, so she went into the bathroom and turned on all the lights so she could get some makeup on properly. She knew Videl didn't like much, and from the brief conversation s she had with Gohana once they started dating, she decided to keep it simple. Mascara, eyelinger, a light shade of lipstick, and maybe something for her cheeks.
Videl entered the bathroom blushing a bit. She'd never worn a dress this revealing, but she so wasnt going to argue.She sat down knowing Erasa would use makeup and just waited.
"Just dont make it look like I have a thick layer of makeup." Videl asked.
Erasa just nodded and carefully applied the eyeliner and mascara. Videl ways had beautiful eyes, and Erasa expertly applied it to accentuate them. And the lipstick she had choosen was just a light red. It wasnt too bright, but it was there.
Erasa had ready been practicing on Videls hair a few times, and she started working on smoothing out her hair a bit. She knew she probably couldnt do too much to change its shape, but she had gotten down how to get it to not look as wild and chaotic. Granted that look usually worked for Videl but tonight Erasa wanted to add a little bit of finess to it.
Once it was done, Videl finally caugh a look at herself in the mirror and was blushing.
"Hold crap is that really me?" Vie was more amazed about her eyes.
"Told you V, you naturally already have the looks. You just dont usually bring them out."
Grabbing a necklace, Erasa quickly reach around Videl to put it on. Videl noticed it looked like a chocker, a silk black material with a heart as a pendant.
"Why the necace?" Videl asked.
"Well couldn't to much with your hair, so decided to add the necklace instead. So, what do you think? Think you'll leave Gohana speechless?"
"I'm speechless at myself!" Videl kept staring at herself in disbelief."
"Well glad to hear it. No lets get going! I'll drive you there since I have to do something in town anyway." Erasa started putting her stuff away.
"You have something in West City?" Videl asked surpised.
"My dad's decided to branch out and start a branch in West City. He wants my recommendations on locations so I'm staying the night there and scouting tomorrow."
"Oh thats great! It's about time he opened a new more!" Videl was happy.
"Yeah, anyway let's get going!" Erasa kept nudging Videl who quickly got up and started heading out the door.
Gohana stood nervously at the restaurants waiting area. Bulma had given her a light purse to go with the outfit so she could keep her phone and money in easily. No pockets afterall. She already knew to meet Videl here as they had coordinated earlier, but that still didn't help her not to be nervous.
"Ms. Son, your table is ready for when the other members of your party arrives" the concierge informed Gohana.
"Oh, thank you very much." Gohana lightly bowed. "They should be here any minute." she smiled
"Yes, well when you are ready you may come see me and we shall escort you." He lightly bowed back and headed back to the reception table.
Gohana had ways heard about this place but never thought she'd ever get to eat here. Looking around, she felt a bit overdressed for here, but now that she was here, she was excited. Nervous as well, but excited. Turning around, She saw as Videl entered the lobby, who quickly noticed Gohana. Both were staring at each other in total shock at how amazing the other looked. Gohana couldn't help but blush as Videl walked over.
"You look Gorgeous!" Videl nearly shouted. Though she was able to control her volume.
"Yeah, I can say the same about you!" Gohana couldn't help but blush as she smiled. Videl was quick to notice the glasses.
"Oh, why the glasses?" Videl asked.
"Oh, Bulma just thought I would look good in them." Gohana adjuted them slightly as they were falling down her nose.
"Well, she's right! Makes you look smarter, and a whole lot cuter too." Videl smiled as Gohana blushed again.
They were shortly after shown to their seats. They both obviously turned down a wine list but they did both order some sparkling water though. Ordering simple water seemed a bit too wrong for this place.
"Have you ever been to a place like this before?" Videl asked.
"No, I can't say I have. But the food smells amazing, I can't wait to try it." Gohana looked very happy as she closed her eyes and was simply smelling the food all around her.
Videl just smiled. Whatever it was doing, the glasses were only making Gohana even cuter.
"Oh will this be enough for you? Your appetite I mean?" Videl was a little worried.
"Every meal here is a full four or five course. That and I didn't want to ruin the mood with my appetite so I brought a senzu bean for after." Gohana smiled.
"You thought of everything it seems then. Typical Gohana move there." Videl teased in a sweet voice.
"So that dress..." Gohana started and then blushed a bit.
Videl looked curiously at Gohana and could tell she was a bit shy.
"I really think you look good in it! You did amazing at picking it out!" She knew Erasa picked it out.
"You dont think it's too revealing?" Videl asked, glancing down a bit at herself.
"No, not at all! I think its showing just enough of--ehhh!" Gohana cut herself off and nervously looked down at the menu again.
Videl picked up on this and smiled a bit.
"Gohana?" She said a bit coy, blushing a bit.
"Um, yes?" Gohana blushed and looked up at her.
"Do you...like...what you see?" she asked extremely nervous.
Gohana very obviously glanced down then back up into Videls eyes, as her face became beat red as she nodded.
Videl wasn't too sure how to react. I mean they were dating each other afterall! And it's only natural their mutual affections towards each other would eventually include more physical attraction as well. And she couldn't deny she was noticing Gohana that way a bit more during their sparring as well. She should be more honest with the girl she loved afterall.
"Well, same." Videl said, still to shy to outwardly say it but knew even Gohana would get the message.
"Are the lady's ready to order?"
Both of them were so nervous and shy about what juat happened they almost didnt notice their waiter had walked up.
"Oh, yes I had a quick question between two of the options." Gohana was able to quicky divert her nervous energy towards good, Videl couldn't help but find this amusing.
Gohana and Videl each ordered a simple meal. Gohana chose a course more towards steak and vegetables, Videl opted to have a more soup and dumpling styled course. Though neither of them really had any idea what exactly to expect.
Until their food arrived, they mostly just talk about their day. They each had seveal hours between their sparring and dinner. And Videl was genuinely interested in hearing about what Gohana was working on? She became so passionate! That, and neither of then were brave enough to continue the conversation, at least just not yet.
Gohana's eyes nearly grew when the food arrived. Videl watched as Gohana eyed the food in front of her. Even she could smell all the amazing food around them, and she couldn't wait to dive into the food! This must be torture for Gohana, and this was just the salad!
Videl grabbed her fork and was about to start eating when she noticed Gohana eating rather slowly like a regular person. Videl had never seen this outside a small snack, and started eating her own salad.
"Even just a simple salad is amazing!" Gohana happily chewed the bite in her mouth, enjoying the variety of flavors and how well they mixed.
"Wow, it's kinda weird seeing you not eat like, well, you." Videl commented.
"Hey, I am a princess rememeber? Mom made sure we know proper etiquette."
"Uhhuh, yet this is the first Ive seen you eat like a human." Videl laughed a little.
With each course, Gohana and Videl were both in amazement about how good the food was. To Videl, the fact Gohana was impressed given how Chichi cooks really said a lot! The two of them still exchanged small talk during the meal, a few times trying a small bite of each others food. They went through the rest of dinner happily giggling, and some blushing. And both of them didnt think they could be happier
Gohana held onto Videl's hand as they walked through the park. Neither of them could stop smiling. The moon was bright so they could easily see dispite there were no lights where they were at.
"Even with just a simple dinner I had so much fun." Gohana finally broke the silence.
"Yeah, the food was amazing! Bet you liked the view too, huh" Videl teased her again going back to earlier.
Now that they weren't in a fancy restaurant and had some privacy, she felt less bad about teasing her knowing how Gohana get easily flustered. And how cute it was when it happened.
"I promise I'm not trying to be a pervert." Gohana quicky tried defending herself, hoping she didnt offend Videl somehow.
Videl placed her hands on Gohanas face to calm her down, which did work. Videl just smiled up at Gohana.
"Relax, I'm not mad. Im...oddly...glad you notice me like that." Videl blushed as she looked down a bit.
Gohana looked down at Videl, noticing how beautiful she looked in the moonlight right now. Placeing her hands on her cheeks, Videl quickly looked up frozen. Gohana slowly leaned in, Videls mind racing as her heart beat wouldnt calm down! Gohana rarely initiated affection out in public, but the moment their lips touched, Videl instantly melted and fell at peace!
Returning her kiss, Videl wrapped her arms around Gohan and held herself as closely pressed againts her as she could. She had been worried about it before and usually they kept some space between them from being somewhat nervous. But she wasnt, and Gohana held her as close as she could as well as they continued their little make out session. Neither wanting to let the other get farther away.
When they finally seperated from each others face, Gohana wrapped her hands around Videls waist and didn't let go. Videl blushed and just rested her head agaisnt Gohanas chest, her ear just near her heart. Videl could hear Gohana's heartbeat and it was very calming to her. She held tightly onto Gohana and just relaxed in her arms.
Neither of them said anything for a while, nor moved. Gohana just happily held Videl so tightly so nothing could get to her, her chin resting on Videls head. And Videl held on so tightly because she never wanted this feeling of love and warmth to go away.
Neither of them could stop smiling, or blushing.
"I Love you." They both inadvertently said at the same time, finally breaking the silenc, causing them both to juat smile and hold onto onto even harder.
well i tried XD hope this chapter wast too cheesy or corny or whatever cuz this was surprisingly difficult to figure out.
