Merry Christmas everyone.

So just so you know my point of reference for power scalling

Goku is just as strong as he is in Cannon. Obviously everyone else is even stronger but Goku is the exact same. Just to clarify.

Enjoy!!!!!

Gohana softly stirred, as she groggily opened her eyes. Her vision was a tad blurry at first, seeing g a lot of white, or at least very light blue. But she blinked a few times as her vision cleared up a little bit.

'I'm at the lookout?'

She slowly sat up, feeling a bit stiff. She tried thinking back to the last thing she could remember. Her hand went to her stomach, remembering Cell stabbing her with a ki blade. What happened next though? Everything seemed a bit hazy after that, other than the excruciating pain, she remembered screaming in agony more than she ever had! Thinking past that…

"Vegeta…" She remembered.

She looked over and saw stuff sitting on the desk. Raina's jacket she wore during the tournament, her boots and gloves, some of Vids stuff too! She took the covers off and swung her legs off the bed, just sitting on the edge. She noticed her shorts and training bra top were repaired. Piccolo's doing no doubt. But what was happening? How long was she out for? The door softly clicked as the door gently opened, catching her attention.

Videl tried to quietly enter the room, but as soon as she looked up, she saw Gohana staring right back at her.

"Gohana!" Videl gasped and quickly ran to her and hugged her, Gohana hugging her hard back.

"I thought you were going to die!!" Videl softly said.

'So that's what happened.' Gohana though while enjoying being in Videl's arms.

"How long was I out?" She said after a few moments.

"Almost two days." Videl answered before her brain catching up on what Gohana missed. More so, what just happened within the last ten or fifteen minutes!

Videl stood back up, her hands on Gohana's shoulders as she looked he in the eyes.

"Gohana, I….just stay here, don't leave. I need to go get your mom!"

Videl quickly got up and ran back out. Gohana didn't rely think much of it either. Of course her mom would be worried. She must have thought she was dead. How was she going to react? Did she know what happened to Goten and Raina? She stood up and reached up towards the sky, well , roof, and stretched everything as she tried to lengthen her fingers from her toes to get the tension out. Two days? No wonder she felt so stiff. And not just stiff, she could tell she got a rather large able power boost. She hadn't been that close to death since…not even Cell. Maybe on Namek when Racoom broke her neck? And even then she wasn't that badly beaten.

She could hear her mom's footsteps running towards the room well before she actually saw her. Chi Chi looked like she was about to cry, and she didn't blame her. Videl and Raina soon entered the room as well behind her.

Gohana went over and hugged her mom. She must have been terrified!

"I thought you had died! I thought I lost all three of my babies!" Chi Chi tried hiding back some tears, but she hugged Gohana as tight as she possibly could!

"I'm sorry. It's my fault that-"

"No, its not your fault sweetie." Chi Chi let go of Gohana, she knew as much of a shock she had been in, and she didn't blame her either for playing hero.

"Nee chan. Here!" Raina handed her a cup of hot tea she had been making for herself, but gave it to her instead.

Gohana took the cup of tea from Raina and set it down as she pulled Raina I to a hug, surprising the younger Saiyan. Tears flows soft from Gohana's eyes, as seeing Raina's body twitching on the ground, her blank eyes, played in her mind.

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you."

"It's okay Nee chan. I'm fine, and Goten too!" she patterned her back.

Gohana let her go and took the tea as he stomach growled. Videl remembered the senzu bean they had for her for when she woke up so she wouldn't be as hungry and got it from the table. Handing it to Gohana, she took it as quickly swallowed it, easing it down with some tea.

"Sweety, we need to catch you up. Just follow me." Chi Chi started leading them.

So Buu was still a threat? Of course he was, Vegeta was dead and she had been unconscious. She followed her mom as she sipped her tea, Videl grabbing her free hand and squeezing. Gohana looked down and smiled as she squeezed soft back. Still, she was sure everyone else would be happy to see she was awake. Two days huh? She could feel Majin Buu far off. But everyone must be keeping their ki low. She only just felt a small cluster, but she mainly only felt Launch and Master Roshi.

"Hey. Just be ready." Videl soft said.

Gohana was a little surprised by that, what happened? Videl just smiled though, was everything okay?

"Why the hell would I do a stupid silly dance! Let alone with someone weaker than me!?" Vegeta could be heard from around the corner.

"Wait, Vegeta?!" Gohana gasped.

Gohana jogged a bit ahead of them to the opening, she could have sworn he had died to let them escape? Did she misunderstand what he had planned? Still, she was really happy to hear his voice! Gohana rounded the corner and saw everyone and she was about to yell out. Gohana barely had time to inhale, and her breath got stuck in her chest. Her eyes widened in shock as she lost all strength, her cup falling and breaking on the ground.

Everybody was now staring in her direction, but she still just stood there in shock. She had to be seeing things! Was this real. She couldn't even form words as she could barely get out any noise. She just trembled like a deer caught in the headlights.

"Hey, your awake kiddo!" Goku smiled.

'Dad!'

Gohana sprinted towards him, tears already in her eyes. She didn't even slow down as she ran into him and started crying hard and loud into his chest as she wrapped her arms around him. Goku really felt the strength in her hug and returned it just as hard to comfort her. Goku softly rubbed Gohana's back as she cried, noticing she was so much taller now! Her head was burred on his upper chest now.

"I missed you too Gohana." he finally said.

"I'm so sorry daddy!" Gohana cried out loudly.

"Huh, for what?" Goku asked confused what she was talking about. What did she do?

Gohana removed her face from his chest, her eyes and nose running as she sniffled.

"We couldn't bring you back because if me. Its my fault you had to die!" she whimpered weakly.

Nobody else said anything. They knew how hard Gohana has had it since his death, and not one of them was going to take this from her.

"Hey dad, who-s" Trunks started asking before Vegeta quickly shushed him. Even he knew how much Gohana needed this.

"We….couldn't bring you back. Mom and I….we missed you so much….and Goten…and Raina….they've never…got to meet you." Gohana wouldn't stop crying but was somehow able to make complete sentences. Well, complete a few words between sobs and small hicks and sniffles.

"What? Oh you mean that." Goku just smiled and put his hands on Gohana's shoulders.

"Hey, I'm the one who made my choice, not you! You did nothing wrong. I've never blamed you."

Gohana wouldn't stop whimpering, this had been festering for almost eight years at this point. And she had only very recently started getting better about it. Gohana wiped her eyes with her hands, but her face was still running. She glanced up and saw the halo around his head. He wasn't alive, he was still dead.

"Man, I went through the most brutal training I've ever had these last seven years. And I hear I don't even compare to you!" Goku smiled.

In a way, this was rather comforting to Gohana. She always loved how happy go lucky her father was, and even in this situation with Majin Buu, it didn't stop her from feeling very safe like when she was a kid.

"I'm…just glad you don't blame me." Gohana finally managed to sniffle a bit, and somewhat calm herself. Though she was still crying a bit.

"Man, you sure have grown up! Last I saw you, you were only maybe up to here." Goku put his hand just below his chest. "You've grown up so strong and pretty! Just like your mom and grandma!" Goku smiled.

'Her grandmother?' Chi Chi thought confused as Goku's never even seen a picture of her mother.

Gohana slowly was calming down a bit, but she couldn't stop tearing, though partial from happiness now.

"I'm just glad I finally got to apologize." Gohana sniffled, father and daughter smiling at each other once again.

"Yes, that's very touching. Now can we stop this sentimental bullshit and come up with a fucking plan!" Gohana's skin crawled as her hair slowly stood on end. Her face contorting into one of rage.

Gohana shocked everybody with how violently and suddenly her ki spiked into Super Saiyan 2, and nobody else could even follow her as Gohana slammed Cell into the floor. Gohana wasted no time in repeatedly slamming her fist into Cell so hard the lookout started cracking underneath him. She looked like she was about to murder Cell from her scowl towards him alone.

"Woah wait Gohana, calm down its not what you think!" Goku tried grabbing her had to stop her from punching but was shocked at the force behind it, unable to stop her.

"GOHANA, CELL'S WITH US!" Vegeta barked at her as he got next to her. Though he had waited a few moments before stopping her from pummeling Cell's face.

Gohana glared up at Vegeta, like she was about to murder someone. Cell took this momentary brief pause in getting his face beaten in to grab Gohana's shirt to pull her off of him. Gohana just quickly grabbed his wrist and slammed her other hand into his elbow as a loud crack could be heard as Cell screamed in pain from his backward bending arm.

"Don't you fucking touch me!" she screamed at Cell, not letting go of his now broken arm. Vegeta couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. She had grown to be a fine Saiyan warrior indeed.

"Trust me , I don't like it either." He crossed his arms in annoyance.

Gohana could tell Vegeta was telling the truth, reluctantly letting go of Cell and stood up, not taking her eye off of Cell.

"What the hell are you talking about Vegeta!" She screamed at him.

"He hates Babadi controlled him and we wants to take revenge by killing Buu." He answered.

Gohana was in disbelief at what she was hearing! They expected Cell to work with them? He killed her dad. He had just moments ago in her point of view stabbed her and nearly killed her! He could have easily sliced her in two, killing her instantly! She could still hear her screams of agony when she was slow dying, it was barely ten minutes ago in her mind.

"Gohana, it's true. He intends to put his hatred aside for the moment to help us kill Buu." Piccolo backed up what Vegeta said.

Gohana was furious, and it was very obvious to everyone. She kept glancing between Vegeta and Piccolo, and occasionally Cell, who had gotten up.

"Hear that, girl? Looks like you don't get to kill me after all!" Cell taunted her as he healed his broke arm.

Cell screamed in pain as Gohana almost instantly made a crude ki blade of her own and stabbed him just like he had her. Though it was causing more damage as the blade wasn't as refined, more jagged, before pulling her hand away and started storming off in the other direction.

"That…hurt." Cell snarled at her, causing Gohana to stop and visibly stiffen a bit.

She turned around , wanting to do such more to him. She was trying her hardest to control herself but it was taking an extreme toll to do so.

"You can fucking regenerate so shut the hell up!" She finally screamed before continuing to storm off to the edge to try and calm down, unable to go out of Super Saiyan 2, or stop random ki sparks.

Goku had watched this entire thing happen and was shocked. Then again so was everybody else. They all knew her anger could be an issue but they've never seen it like this before. No one blamed her either.

"Chi Chi, should I go say something?" Goku asked confused, never seeing her rage manifest in this way before.

'I'll go check on her." Videl said and hurried off towards Gohana.

"She's got it under control Goku. Let Videl calm Gohana down." she implored him.

When Videl got close to Gohana, she could see the tension in her body. It was like she was flexing every muscle in her body! No, Videl noticed it wasn't that she was tensing up, it's her ki was causing her to slightly bulk up a bit, and she was trying to control it. The random sparks that appeared periodically made her jump lightly each time. But her face is what caught her attention the most. She could clearly see the rage and anger. She had just got to see her father again, something she never thought she'd get, only to immediately have the opposite happen. All that happiness taken.

"Gohana, it will be okay." Videl softly spoke.

Gohana flinched a bit at Videl's sudden words. She hadn't noticed her. She tried to calm down, but it was really hard.

"You know what he did to me. How much trauma I went through because of him." Gohana started.

"I know, I know." Videl softly held onto Gohana's face, staring softly up at her.

"But right now, we need all the help we can get. And even he is putting up with us. If Piccolo and Vegeta are alright with his help then-"

"Videl, how can I fight along side someone who killed my dad. Someone who almost killed me." Gohana couldn't tell if she was sad or angry. Gohana's voice was full of rage, though not towards her.

"You mean like Piccolo and Vegeta?" Videl asked, not trying to drag this out.

Gohana's eyes shoot open, that's right. Vegeta tried killing her several times as a kid! Piccolo also tried killing her father. Piccolo successfully killing him. And now she was probably the closest to them both outside her mom and siblings. Gohana just looked down a little bit. She immediately knew what Videl was doing, and it gave her a brief moment to calm down and think rationally.

"None of us like it. But we need all the help we can get against Majin Buu."

Gohana's body visibly calmed down, though she didn't return to base. She did look far more relaxed, though worried.

"But what if he betrays us" she asked.

"I have a weird feeling, at least until after this whole Buu thing is done, he won't. He even wished for Babadi to suffer in Hell worse than he did."

Cell actually did that? Wait, then that means Shenron was summoned! What did they need him for so soon?

Videl got closer and wrapped her arms around Gohana, holding her close.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but we need to get through this first. If Cell wants to help, I'm all for that. As much as I hate him as well, it's a chance to get through this." Videl gripping the back if Gohana's top a bit.

Gohana just wrapped her arms around Videl in return and held her close. She was right. Even at Super Saiyan 3 she couldn't defeat Buu. Even if she was at full power she doubt she would have enough strength. But feeling Videl's hug, and hearing her voice, gave her strength to calm down.

"Wait, Videl…did…you just say…" Gohana blushed, looking down at her.

Videl blushed back and buried her face into Gohana's chest, really just causing them both to blush a bit more.

"If…we get through this." Videl started without removing her face, somewhat muffled. Though very shy to say the rest.

Gohana knew she had heard correctly though. She blushed really hard when she realized what Videl had just said. She looked down and smiled. She gently cupped Videl's face in one hand, tilting it up. Videl followed through and was meet with Gohana locking their lips together. Videl softly gasped but soon just melted in Gohana's embrace and returned the kiss.

After a few passionate moments, they separated and just looked at each other. Both of them flushed, though not from being embarrassed.

"When we get through this." Gohana smiled, wrapping one arm tightly around Videl's waist the other back to gentle rubbing her cheek as she just looked down happily, and smiled.

"Lets get married." She finished Videl's sentence from moments before, though her face beat red.

Videl's heart skipped a beat, and she couldn't stop her heart from beating so loudly in her head. She was so glad Gohana felt the same.

"Hey Chi Chi, will Gohana be okay?" Goku asked as he watched Videl go after Gohana.

"Right now she just took in a lot. Videl has a way of getting to her when others can't." Chi Chi answered.

"She does? How's that." Goku asked confused.

"Gohana….bonded with her. Think of it like a stronger primal version of marriage." Chi Chi tried to explain Saiyan bonding as best she could, given what Gohana, and surprisingly Vegeta, had told her, in a way Goku would probably understand.

"Oh like you and me?" Goku asked.

"Its much more potent than that Kakarot. Like those rage boosts of hers But in terms of love." Vegeta tried clarifying.

"Oooh that makes sense."

"Hmph, still such a simpleton." Vegeta scoffed.

"Goku, we were sent here for a reason. I feel we need to get a plan in motion." Piccon finally spoke up, feeling it more appropriate finally.

"As I said, I feel we need to get the Z sword. I feel Gohana can defeat Buu with it." Shin reemphasized.

"I still fail to see how a sword will help when we can instead go and train in the time chamber." Vegeta asked, arms crossed.

"Time chamber? There's a time chamber on Earth?" Shin was surprised.

"Kami made it back when he was guardian of Earth." Piccolo filed them in.

"Oh yes that would make sense actually. Maybe we can use that to our advantage."

"Use what?" Gohana asked, having returned and only heard the tail end.

"Oh, Gohana. We have a plan for you to stop Majin Buu. But you must come with us to our planet." Shin answered her.

"Wait, I have to leave Earth?" Gohana was surprised.

"Yes. But if you can pull the sword from its resting spot and train with it, you can become far stronger than you are now, and stop Majin Buu."

Gohana looked over at her dad and Vegeta, not really sure what to even say. Right now she and Vegeta were the best chance they had, she couldn't risk not being here.

"If it's that beneficial, have my dad do it instead." Gohana offered, throwing everybody off.

"Wait, why me?" Goku asked confused.

"You are turning down training in the world of the Kai's?" Kabito asked in shock.

"Its not that I'm turning it down. But right now dad has a lot of catching up to do, and fast. Would be better if he can help more. And right now I'm also the best defense against Buu. I don't want to leave Earth."

Shin and Kabito looked at each other. They both did have to admit she had a point. Having the one who was already the strongest become more so, compared to gaining another fighter to their ranks, having more capable fighters would work more in their favor.

"You do bring up a valid point Gohana. Maybe we should adjust and go with that." Shin spoke up.

"That takes care of our numbers problem but there's still another issue we need to bring up, Majin Buu's ki and regeneration. It doesn't seem to drain him when he attacks or regenerates. Meaning we have to overpower him. But like Gohana when she powers up, we cant fully sense it. So it's hard to gauge how much power to use to overpower him. Even Vegeta self destructing wasn't enough, and that made that attack even stronger than Gohana." Piccolo spoke.

"Wait is that why his attacks seemed to be so much more powerful than they should have been?" Piccon asked, recalling that while he did overpower them, his attacks were far more potent than they should have.

"Wait so we cant feel his ki? Like with the androids?" Goku asked.

"No its different. Kabito has a theory about it and it would make sense." Piccolo finally spoke up about what they had discussed.

Even Shin looked up surprised at Kabito.

"Kabito, what is it?" he asked.

"Based on what I felt and how Piccolo described it. Their ki raising without it sensing, magnifying her power more than it should. It's just like his."

Shin's face gave him away that he knew where he was going with this.

"Ah, of course, that's why you revived me!"

Gohana just stood their confused. What were they talking about? They were talking about her ki, but what was so special about holding it in so she doesn't get drained as much?

"Enough games and tell us what the hell you have planed." Cell spoke up, having had enough of this.

Before anyone could even speak up, a quickly flash behind them appeared. They quickly looked back in fear of it being Buu, but Shin was quickly grabbed by his cloths and assaulted before they had any time to even process what was going on. But i

"Just what the hell are you thinking you good for nothing Kai!"

"Oh, Good you're here!" Shin spoke up.

"Don't give me that! Your lucky my life is linked to yours, or else I'd erase you right now myself." He screamed.

"Calm down my lord, it isn't his fault that he was killed." the other person spoke as he walked up behind Gohana.

"Oh really, and just who's was it?" he looked back at him.

"Um, sorry but who are you?" Gohana asked the question everybody seemed to be thinking.

Looking over to Gohana he let Shin go and walked over to her.

"Mighty brave of a mortal to speak to a God in that fashion, don't you think?" he spoke down at her.

"God? You mean like Shin?" Gohana asked confused, having no idea what the heck going on. And looked around, no body else seemed to either. Except, Vegeta and Cell?

"Ha, don't compare me to him. I should destroy this planet for such insolence."

This put everybody on edge immediately! Bad enough they had to deal with Majin Buu, but now this…thing? That Shin and Kabito are familiar with as well? Even Gohana looked a worried and was about to get ready to fight.

"Lord Beerus, please forgive her! She doesn't know what she's talking about?" Vegeta pushed Gohana out of the way and quickly bowed to him, throwing everybody off.

"Oh my my my. Prince Vegeta. I haven't seen you in ages. I thought all Saiyans were eliminated by Frieza."

"It appears that there are a few here on Earth. And a few more scattered about." Whis looked over to Gohana. "And it appears this planet holds several hybrid Saiyans as well. Namekians as well it seems. Such an interesting planet, this Earth."

"Still such a nuisance, violent race the Saiyans. Kai, care to tell me how you died!" Beerus turned back to Shin.

"The one named Cell killed him while under Babadi's spell." Kabito answered for him pointing over at Cell.

Cell looked like he was about to die in horror. He watched as Beerus walked up to him glaring. Cell, despite being taller was stepping back trembling. What was this! He didn't know who this was bit somehow, no he did! That parts of him from Frieza and Vegeta, their knowledge of him. It was haunting him!

"You dare to kill a God I see." Beerus menacingly spoke to him before placing his hand out.

"No, my lord I was…being mind controlled." Cell pleaded.

"Ah at least someone else on this dustball knows the danger they are in. Don't worry, you won't feel a thing as you are erased from existence." He held his hand up as purple energy formed at his hands, causing Cell to visibly tremble

"My lord wait. We need him to help stop Majin Buu." Shin spoke out, trying to calm Beer's down.

"What, Majin Buu? You mean that blob as been released?" Beerus looked over in the distance and squinted.

"So it seems he has been revived. And far more powerful that before. How is that possible?" He enquired Shin.

"Vegeta, care to explain what the heck is going on?" Gohana whispered to Vegeta, able to at least somewhat read the situation.

"Shush, keep it down! He's a God of Destruction. I'll explain later, assuming he doesn't kill us all!" he muttered under his breath to her.

Gohana looked up at Beerus, he looked like a purple cat humanoid. But still , something about his ki seemed weird. And what was a God of Destruction? She looked over to her dad, he was in the other world with King Kai, a God. Maybe he knew? But he seemed just as confused.

"So care to explain how Majin Buu was released under your watch?" Beerus turned his full attention to Shin, glaring at him as he repeated his question.

"Babadi, Bibadis son, he…discovered Buu's location and came here to resurrect him. And as you can see, he was successful."

"You promised me it was taken care of, that no being could be powerful enough to revive him. How is it that enough energy was gathered. How many worlds were lost due to your now broken promise."

"I must say my lord, it appears that multiple beings here have plenty of power to revive him. This young girl in particular. Hmmm…" Whis was studying Gohana, making her a bit nervous.

"He, only took from Son Gohana." Kabito answered.

Everyone looked over at Gohana now, Beerus noticing this as well. He walked right over to her and studied her over.

"You mean to tell me that this little girl has enough power alone to revive Majin Buu? Don't make me laugh, her energy is pitiful. Not even Frieza had enough power to put a dent in the power needed to revive him.. I doubt any other mortal comes even close to him" He glared back at Shin annoyed, feeling Gohana's massively suppress ki.

"My lord please believe him. He isn't liying. We surpassed Frieza over a decade ago!" Vegeta pleaded, sensing Beerus getting upset, trying desperately to think of anything to calm him down. And everyone was just standing there terrified to do anything given how terrified Vegeta was. Beerus raised and eyebrow in curiosity.

"Um, Lord, Beerus? it's true. They stole my ki and shortly after Buu was revived." Gohana tried to explain, able to tell from Vegetas actions this being was not to be trifle with. Or to become angry.

"That's right, Gohana show him the power they stole!" Shin spoke up.

Beerus looked back over at Gohana and glarred.

"If he's lying, I will kill you where you stand. Now show me."

Gohana tensed at that! He would kill her over something like this? No she couldn't let that happen!

Gohana wasted no time in powering up, still in super Saiyan 2. She didn't even realize how much of a power boost she got from almost dying but she felt even more powerful than before. Even without pushing to her max, she didn't even mean to power past her previous limit at 2!

"Oh, a mortal almost discovering it?" Whis said amused and impressed he felt Gohana's ki rise. Even Beerus looked surprised at how much power Gohana had. And not just that, he felt it to!

"That explains it. So, you really weren't bluffing. Still you're nothing compared to me. But I at least believe Buu was revived thanks to you. Tell me, what is this thing called."

"Super Saiyan 2! I can go on step farther as well!" Gohana tried to not sound angry, even though she kinda was.

That name seemed to cause a stir in Beerus, which Gohana noticed as soon as she said Super Saiyan. Did he know about that?

"Super Saiyan! Is that what you said?" Beerus sounded a but more cheery, throwing Gohana off.

"Uh, yes?" her ki calmed down but she didn't power down.

Beerus felt a rush if excitement. He had almost forgotten about that, but hearing it right now!

"Tell me, do you know anything about a Super Saiyan God?" he asked.

Gohana looked at him confused. Why would he ask that? She looked back at Vegeta and Goku for an answer, but they both seemed to as stumped as she was.

"Sorry, no. I don't even know what a God is really. Other than Shin and King Kai.

"Then explain how you have the spark of God Ki within you?" Beerus went back to being visibly annoyed.

Everybody was looking at Gohana now.

'What the heck is God ki?' Gohana thought to herself.

"It seems my lord that she's only just got onto the right path to obtaining it. But it's not fully grasped or matured just yet. You may have to wait on that premonition of yours." Whis said.

"Is that so. Still if you can't even handle Majin Buu than you're not even worthy of my time."

"A least you finally have a lead. Maybe you should consider giving them more time." He tried cheering him up.

Beerus looked annoyed but then glanced back at Gohana. Then at everybody else, Cell especially. He shot a cold glare towards him, causing Cell to tremble violently and fall on his butt. Looking back at Gohana he sighed and smirked.

"Fine, I won't destroy this world. But I won't help you against Majin Buu. If you can't even handle him, then you have no right to finally give me a good fight. But I will be back if you defeat Majin Buu."

Gohana felt a bit less tense, knowing he wouldn't blow up the earth. But still what was he on about?

"Lets go Whis. I was rudely woken up and now I'm starving. And keep an eye on the situation her on Earth. And you, Cell. If I hear they succeed without your help, be prepared to be erased from existence!"

He looked back and smiled at Gohana.

"Don't disappoint me." He said, before Whis tapped his staff onto the ground and they both vanished in a flash.

For a long while, everybody just stood there, not even sure what to do. Gohana just looked very confused. Cell and Vegeta were on the floor trembling and trying to catch their breath like they just escaped a predator. And Shin and Kabito just looked a bit worried now.

"Vegeta, are you alright?" Bulma ran to him and helped him up.

"I…cant believe…were still…alive." He got out through pants.

Gohana turned around and went back to Vegeta and stared right at him.

"Vegeta, just who was that?"

"Lord Beerus. He is the God of Destruction of this Universe. And one if the only beings above even myself." Shin answered.

"As Vegeta said, we are lucky he didn't blow up Earth on the spot. We still have a shot to end Majin Buu."

"So this God of Destruction, is he strong?" Goku asked picking up he probably didn't think much of even Majin Buu.

"Yes, he's the strongest being in the entire universe. No mortal is above him, let alone even close."

"Oh man he sounds like he would be fun to fight against!" Goku sounded excited.

"We have bigger problems right now Kakarot! And you don't even stand a chance against your own daughter! Let alone Majin Buu or Beerus!" Vegeta snapped.

"Oh come on, doesn't have to be a fight to the death." Goku pleaded.

"Vegeta's right dad. Besides, Beerus seemed Interested in me. Though I don't know why. And even beyond that we still have to figure out what to do against Majin Buu."

"Maybe we should make more use of the time chamber. If Majin Buu is even stronger than we can feel, it doesn't sound good." Tien spoke up.

Piccolo looked over towards Shin and Kabito, the latter especially. He kept it to himself up to this point as Kabito asked. Though he really had no been told much, not even about Beerus but still something was nagging at him for a while. And Beerus's comment answered it for him.

"Yes Piccolo?" Shin asked, noticing Piccolo staring.

"What exactly is God Ki, How long have you known Gohana has it?" he asked.

Both of them looked down. Since it was only partially there and not fully useful, they never brought it up or factored it in. Until it was already too late.

"When she powered up for us at the tournament, we felt it for sure. I had a small suspicion when we first meet, but until she powered up, I wasn't sure. Honestly we didn't even think a mortals could even have God ki, even if trained by God's themselves."

"What exactly is God ki? I didn't sense anything from that Beerus." Krillin asked.

"Wait, you guys couldn't sense anything from him?" Gohana asked confused.

"You could?" Kabito asked shocked.

"Well, it was weird because it didn't feel like regular ki, but in a way it did. But it seemed more like I could just barely feel it. Its hard to explain! Just that…it felt different and like I was relearning to sense ki for the first time again. " Gohana though back to how it felt.

"Only Gods can sense God Ki. But, since you apparently are on the path to using it, it appears your ability to sense it is a result. Just how did you discover it if I may ask?" Shin asked.

Gohana really didn't know what to even say. Until a few minutes ago she had never even heard of God ki, and then find out she's accidentally figuring it out? She thought about it, and in the back if her head she thought of something.

Learning to use Super Saiyan 3, she started working on containing every bit of energy she could to contain the ki leakage. And she realized she started doing that somewhat without thinking in her other forms. Though she never though of separating them. But that was roughly when she could power up more than the others could feel. Even Piccolo couldn't at first. Or Vegeta. Until they tried containing it themselves. Then they could somewhat feel it as well. More so Piccolo!

"I think learning to contain my ki in Super Saiyan 3 was the start. "

"Then I guess that's where Gohana should try focusing her effort into. Fully containing her ki and not letting anything leak out." Piccolo folded his arms, realizing that was what Kabito had given him the idea for in the time chamber. Though feeling it up close with Beerus, as well as he could sense it, he had an idea to train Gohana.

"Alright then, that's the plan for now." Piccolo spoke up.

Everyone looked over at him, if Piccolo had a plan, it was the best place to start.

"Gohana and I will go into he time chamber so she can try learning God Ki. Though I feel we should limit our time, I don't think we have the luxury of a second attempt at this."

"Goku, you go with Shin and Kabito and train with that sword."

"Sword? Well it's really not my thing but if you feel that's how I can be the most helpful." Goku was pumped.

"Vegeta, Cell, you're our first line of defense for the time being. But if something happens before Gohana and I come back out, come get us."

"Are you really sure about Cell?" Yamcha asked, just about everybody agreeing.

Piccolo glanced over at Cell, who was still visibly shaken, and sweating?

"I have a feeling his survival instincts are stronger than his hatred towards us. He won't go against Beerus."

"And 18, will need your help too." Piccolo looked over to her.

"How exactly can I help?" she asked confused.

"I need you to keep an eye on Buu. Since you can sense him and there's no risk of him sensing you, I want you to stay in telepathic communication with me."

"Will…that work with you in the time chamber?" she asked confused.

"It will, may be a weird delay on your end for my answer though."

18 nodded, setting Maaron down as Krilling then took her in his arms.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Krillin asked.

"As Piccolo said, Buu can't sense me. And I don't get tired. I'll be fine." 18 reassured him.

"Piccolo, what can me and Piccon do to help Earth?" Olibu asked.

Piccolo still wasn't even sure himself. He had no idea of their abilities or capabilities. Their strength, nothing. The only thing he had to go on was Goku was stronger than them, and they were the next two in power.

"Be ready at a moments notice. I have a feeling this plan won't go nearly as smoothly as we want." Piccolo sounded a bit worried.

This seemed to be a good answer for them. They both knew they weren't the powerhouses everyone else here was. But knowing they could still be useful was enough for them.

"Alright, everybody knows what to do. Lets get going. Gohana, I'll be waiting in the time chamber." Piccolo turned towards the building.

"So, I guess we're back to training to save the world again, huh?" Goku said as he walked up to Gohana.

Gohana just nodded a bit and smiled. This was the last time they spent together, and reunited doing the same thing. It brought a weird peace to Gohana's heart.

"Dad, whatever this training is they're going to put you through, don't go Super Saiyan." She advised him knowing he's ready mastered Super Saiyan, and guessed he mastered 2 as well.

"Huh, why not?" he asked confused.

"Piccolo and I figured it out, but the stronger you can get without transforming, it makes our transformations more potent. That's partially how I got so strong. Just trust me. Even Vegeta has made drastic leaps in just a short time."

"Oh, yeah you're right. Super Saiyan just makes us stronger. So it makes sense getting stronger without transforming will only make it stronger. Man I wish I had thought of that years ago!" Goku said excitedly.

Seeing him like this, just as she remembered, was really helping Gohana right now.

"Let's go Goku. We should hurry." Shin finally spoke.

"Oh yeah, coming." Goku went over to Shin and Kabito, placing his hand on Kabitos back as Shin did, before Gohana saw them vanish.

Gohana went over to Vegeta, who looked like he at least calmed down now. Though he was obviously worried at the same time.

"You going to be okay?" she asked him. "With Cell at least?"

Vegeta looked over to Cell and glared, it seemed Cell had also somewhat recovered but still seemed on edge.

"I'll be fine. Seemed blowing yourself up and recovering leads to a great power boost. I don't think we've experienced one this massive since Namek."

Gohana nodding, noting that it felt like Vegeta could handle Cell now. Maybe not easily beat him, but their power seemed closer. What with Cell also feeling weaker. Though still league's beyond what he was seven years ago.

"He has the cells of me and Frieze, and seeing Beerus looked like a bigger fear for him than me. That. And he doesn't want to be erased."

"Won't he go back to hell if he does?" Gohana asked confused

"If what I've heard is true, being erased means everything, body and soul. He won't have an afterlife." Vegeta answered.

That hit Gohana hard,no afterlife? Good or bad you still went to the afterlife. But Cell is at risk of not even getting that if he doesn't help? In a weird way, that actually made Gohana a bit more comfortable with him helping. Not by much, but he wanted to help even before. This just seemed like assurance he would help.

Gohana walked over to Cell, who noticed this and became on edge again.

"What the hell do you want." He snarled.

"Looks like I can at least trust you'll try. Besides, now that you don't have that power boost, you're weaker than even me now."

"Did you just come here to taunt me?" he angrily asked.

Gohana took a deep breath, tying to calm her nerves. At least she wasn't beating him to a pulp.

Cell was surprised when Gohana held her hand out. Though she was obviously annoyed, it still seemed odd.

"Can we at least put aside our differences so my home and family are saved? You existence also depends on it." Gohana absolutely hated this!

Cell hated this! But she was right. If he died, well he didn't want to go back to hell. But by not hoping he would be erased, which he also didn't want.

"Fine, but don't think this means we're buddies he took Gohana's hand and shook it.

"Don't worry." Gohana glarred.

Gohana was about ready to go into the time chamber, but she wanted to do one more thing before she did. She quickly found Videl and just held her in a hug that she didn't let her get out of. Not that Videl wanted to. Chi Chi just watched as Videl had been with her before.

"You going to be okay in there? No telling how long you'll need. Or how long you'll even have." Videl asked.

Gohana let her go and just smiled.

"If it means keeping everyone safe, I would stay a hundred years in there if I needed."

Videl just smiled back and leaned up to kiss her softly on the cheek. Gohana just smiled lovingly at her before kissing her forehead.

"Besides, I have more to come home to after all this is done!" Gohana smiled brightly, Videl returning it.

Shortly after, Videl watched as Gohana quickly went towards the building. She was still in Super Saiyan 2 this entire time so it was easy to sense her. She couldn't help but let out a tear as her ki instantly vanished, knowing what that meant. She was cut off until they came out. She would have to suffer all that time, not knowing what was going on outside.

"Videl, what did Gohana mean just now? More to come home to?" Chi Chi asked her.

Videl didn't look away from the building and just smiled. She didn't think Gohana wanted it between them either.

"Once we get through this, we're going to get married." Videl smiled, holding her hands over hear heart with happiness.
