Chapter 3 Where we are now
After Rex turned in whatever he had the whole guild celebrated stating that this was a major achievement and the person they had to thank was the Divine Salvager Supreme himself Rex, while Rex tried to be humble that didn't stop people from throwing him high up and even higher up when Wulfric, Zenobia, Newt, and Herald joined in.
As the evening was full of merry Rex saw Pyra and Mythra looking at the world tree. Nia once again shoved Rex and said "well? go to them they won't come here" "your right thanks Nia" as Rex left Dromarch said "My lady why do you hurt yourself like this why can't you confess your feelings" " of course I want to Dromarch but his hearts already taken all I can do now is make sure he's happy".
Meanwhile with Mythra and Pyra "hmph finally he's coming" "I didn't want him to come sis" "oh don't be like that it's been awhile since you two got any alone time so use this, anyway I think I'm going to enjoy the party" as Mythra walked away "wha- your already leaving Mythra" "(quietly and angrily) you better not mess this up".
As Rex sits down next to Pyra "geez what's with everyone today right Pyra " "yeah" an awkward silence come up "the world tree looks so beautiful at night even though it blew up it seems to be still working" "yeah it is" silence.
Rex tries to think of something until Pyra says "Rex there's no need to force conversation" "sorry Pyra it's just if something is bothering you, don't keep it in talk to anybody or at least me it just *sigh* I guess what I'm just trying to say is I'm here for you" Pyra smiled and said" thanks Rex there's nothing wrong I was just thinking how life is so different now after all we've been through but we don't need to talk about that now we can just sit here with no words close to each other" Pyra gets close to Rex
He blushes "o-okay if that's what you want then I-" Pyra interrupts Rex saying "That's all I want" as Pyra gets closer she says "you have beautiful eyes", after 3 years of waiting Rex and Pyra Kiss for the first time under the moonlight.

Authors Note: A short one this time so let's get down to business. While Rex is in a romantic relationship with Pyra he will technically have a romantic relationship with Mythra and Nia too along with some other female blades, how does that go I won't tell. Pyra's last line applies to other oc's as well since I put huge emphasis on their eyes and is a parody of a line in Yakuza 3 were a character (won't spoil who) said Kiryu's eyes were beautiful. Finally the title of this chapter is obviously the inverse of the main title theme "where we used to be"
