Chapter 19. Elena.
Stefan and Elena caught up with Damon. Damon grabbed Elena's hand from the hand of Stephen.
"She's coming with me."
"Can you hold her?" Stefan said calmly, and with a quick movement, he broke Damon's arm that was holding Elena. Damon screamed in pain and fell to the pavement, blood gushing from his hand. Elena dropped to her knees beside him, trying to help him. Stefan bent down next to Elena, wrapped his arms around her, and lifted her up.
"You come with me or I'll wring his neck."
"What? What happened to you Stefan?!" she said, sobbing.
"I've just been in hell."
He took her hand and led her away. Elena didn't resist, but she turned to Damon.

They came to the house where Elena and Damon lived.
"Now just invite me in," Stefan said, letting go of Elena's hand.
"What do you want?"
"Invite me in," he said threateningly.
Elena went into the house, stood in front of the door, and looked into Stefan's eyes.
"And yes, I can go back and continue tormenting your husband."
"You can come in, Stefan Salvatore."
The man entered the house, stood in front of the girl, looked down into her brown eyes, smiled at her, and slowly closed the front door.
