One night, Leah sat down with Bree, they were quiet for a long time before they both began to talk.
"So what did y…" They both spoke in unison.
"You first," Leah insisted.
"Erm ok, I was just going to ask, what did you want to talk about?" Bree asked.
"Well, I just wanted to talk with you. Ever since I Imprinted on you, everything has seemed a bit of a blur to me. I feel I don't quite know you as well as I should do," Leah explained.
Bree was silent for a moment before answering her, "Well, before I became a vampire, I was still in college studying English Literature and Creative Writing. Before I was cruelly turned against my will I lived a simple life, but now I've been trying to find myself again and my own individuality until this happened," Bree vented, "Could I still study and have you at the same time?" Bree added blushing once she realised what she said.
"Being turned like that couldn't have been easy. Maybe you can go back to study at another college, I'm sure the Cullens will help you with that," Leah suggested, "As long as it's not too far away from me," Leah added.
"Even if it is, you could always come with me, we can visit everyone during the holidays," Bree suggested confidently.
"Wow Bree, I admire your confidence now, you really have come far. Were you ever this confident when you were human?" Leah asked.
"Erm, weirdly no I wasn't, I have always been the shy, head in a book kinda girl, but I think the vampire in me has actually made me come out of my shell. With help from Rosalie of course," Bree confessed.
"Well that's great. I kind of wished I had that closeness with someone," Leah reluctantly confessed.
"I may be still new at this, but maybe that's why you are able to imprint on me, someone to get close to. I feel alone and left out around the Cullens when we all get together. They all have their own partners and then there's me," Bree vented.
"Well now you have me, I can be your protector, your best friend and your saviour," Leah slowly told her, watching her expression change. Bree smiled ever so slightly.
Leah hesitated before lifting her arm, but as she went to put her arm around Bree to comfort her Seth came bursting through.
"Seth! What do you think you are doing here?" Leah shouted. Seth froze.
"I… I'm sorry Leah, but something has happened and Jake's called for everyone!" Seth stuttered.
"What has happened?" Leah asked, getting worried.
"It's Billy. Jake wants everyone here, come quick!" Seth said quickly, " Bree you too!" Seth added, running back outside.
"Come on Bree, we will get there quicker if you ride me," Leah ordered, as she phased.
