Code Dino Crisis

In the 21st century, mankind fought for the right to resources, which have left portions of earth ruined. As a result, some scientists have turned to Sakuradite as the main method of powering their devices, but Dr. Kirk proposed a clean, limitless energy, which he named Third Energy. Because of his breakthrough, many are out to steal his research, including the Black Knights.

2. Chapter 2 - Reunions and Splitting Up

Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass, nor do I own Dino Crisis. If I owned either one, I'd be rich.

A/N: I should have published this last month, but there were some delays I'd rather not discuss. I do intend to also borrow elements from the Dino Crisis manhua, which will show up in Chapter 3.

Wolfpackersson09 - I do apologize for not making the starting point similar to Resident Evil: Degeneration, Resident Evil: Damnation and Resident Evil: Vendetta, but thank you. I will find a way to include puzzle solving, which should add to the tension of survival horror. Indeed, and the thoughts are just one way of fleshing some things out. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

*Ibis Island, Protectorate of Borginia, Britannia, October 31st, 2017 ATB*

Within the control room, Rick collapsed in a seat next to one of the three clear monitors, while Cornelia, Darlton, Guilford, Regina, Kallen, Lelouch and the two civilians stood up. Kallen and the two SORT agents were in shock, while the two redheads stumbled back. Cornelia and her knights felt the color drain from their faces, while the oldest of her knights stated, "It all adds up now. I had a feeling Zero held a grudge against the royal family, but I never suspected he was you, Prince Lelouch."

Lelouch stared at Darlton, while Cornelia questioned her brother, "Why? Why did you betray Britannia? Why did you murder Clovis?"

Lelouch kept his cool, while he answered, "I raised the banner of rebellion against Britannia, because I intend to obliterate Britannia, especially since I intend to liberate Japan, and to make a kinder, gentler world for Nunnally in the process. I also intend to discover the truth of my mother's murder, and to avenge her too. I killed Clovis, because he ordered the deaths of innocent civilians. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't derive any pleasure from his death. Whether it was intentional or not, Clovis tried to have me killed via proxies."

Cornelia averted her gaze from Lelouch, while she replied, "I see. It doesn't exonerate you of your crimes, but we have bigger things to worry about."

Darlton Guilford, Regina and Rick continued staring in shock, while the ace of the Black Knights angrily butted in, "Was it all a lie? Did you use us to grab power, just so you can become the next emperor of Britannia?"

Lelouch kept his cool, while he answered, "No, Kallen. If you realized what Nunnally and I had to endure, you would understand why I hate my birth nation so much. When my mother had been assassinated, I had expected the emperor to capture and execute her murderers, but he called off the case, before treating it like it hadn't mattered. Because he chose to be heartless about the situation, I angrily confronted him, before he banished Nunnally and I to Japan."

Kallen clenched her fists, while Cornelia, Darlton, Guilford, Regina and Rick listened to Lelouch. The ex-prince remained calm, while he continued, "After Nunnally and I had arrived in Japan, we had built a new life there, while befriending Suzaku. On the day Britannia invaded Japan, it changed for the worse, especially since we lost our new home, and the emperor put our lives at risk. The emperor no doubt knew we were alive, which he took advantage of by lying about the Japanese having murdered us, while using our fake deaths as an excuse to conquer and declare war on Japan."

Cornelia felt like she had been slapped in the face, while Darlton and Guilford reeled back. As for Regina, Rick and the two civilians, they continued listening, while Lelouch added, "Can you imagine what that does to a ten-year-old? It leaves them traumatized, and filled with a strong desire for vengeance."

Kallen was at a loss for words, and Cornelia proceeded to hang her head in shame. Cornelia frowned, while she guiltily uttered, "This is my fault."

Guilford and Darlton simultaneously spoke, "Princess Cornelia?"

Kallen, Lelouch, Regina, Rick and the two civilians turned to stare at Cornelia, while the princess said, "If I had stopped you from going to see the emperor, you wouldn't be suffering as much."

Lelouch glared at his sister, which made Cornelia flinch, while he clenched his fists, and he spat, "When you think about it, it's ironic. Getting exiled was a blessing in disguise, because it revealed just how heartless Charles is, which allowed Nunnally and I to live a better life as commoners."

Cornelia felt like she had been punched in the gut, while she apologized, "I'm sorry, Lelouch. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me,"

Lelouch continued glaring at Cornelia, while he uttered, "If you genuinely feel sorry, you could tell me everything you know about my mother's death, or you could even help me obliterate Britannia."

Cornelia flinched again, while Darlton kept staring in shock, and Guilford clenched his fists, before he raised his voice, "How dare you. I will not put up with such disr-"

Cornelia put her hand in front of Guilford, while his eyes widened. With a forlorn look on her face, Cornelia broke the ice, "I cannot help you destroy Britannia, but I will tell you everything I know about Lady Marianne's death."

Lelouch didn't cease his glare, while Cornelia solemnly added, "As you know, I was the head of Lady Marianne's royal guard. On the night of her death, I had been ordered to remove all guards from the premise."

Lelouch clenched his fists, while he questioned his older sister, "By whose orders? Was it the emperor?"

Cornelia frowned, while she answered, "No. Lady Marianne herself gave me those orders, which I protested."

Everyone else in the room stared in shock, while Lelouch reeled back, before he halted, and the exiled prince uttered, "Impossible. Why would she do that?"

Cornelia hung her head in shame, while she answered, "I don't know, but I reluctantly carried out those orders. Had I known Lady Marianne was going to be assassinated, I would have disobeyed her orders."

Lelouch kept his fists clenched, while Cornelia continued, "Under the emperor's orders, Schneizel had relocated Lady Marianne's corpse."

Lelouch glared, while he questioned his half-sister, "Where did Schneizel take my mother's body."

Cornelia kept her head down, while she answered, "I don't know. Only Schneizel and the emperor know the whereabouts of her resting place."

Lelouch scowled, while he expressed his disappointment, "I see. I'm back to square one of my investigation."

Cornelia raised her head, while Lelouch added, "Some might think my mother's death was the work of terrorists, but I'm no fool."

Darlton, Guilford, Kallen, Regina, Rick, and the two civilians felt confused, while Cornelia had an uneasy feeling that she knew Lelouch was about to say. With a the same scowl, Leouch spat, "I know someone from the imperial court had my mother killed, because there's no way terrorists could have breached the topnotch security of Pendragon."

Cornelia felt the color drain from her face, while Darlton, Guilford, Kallen, Regina and the two civilians reeled back. Rick stared in shock, while Cornelia commented, "I see. Part of me was hoping that it was terrorists, but what you're saying makes more sense. Lady Marianne's murderer might be one of our kin, which means there is a long list of suspects to interrogate."

Lelouch chose not to say anything, while he listened to his sister. The sound of someone clearing of their throat got everyone's attention, which had the armed individuals turn their attention to the two civilians. Rick felt embarrassed, while he commented, "Right. I forgot that introductions are in order."

The blonde grinned, while she spoke, "My name is Milly Ashford, and I'm the granddaughter of Lord Ashford."

The spectacle girl gave a small smile, while she timidly said, "I'm Nina Einstein, and I'm a member of Ashford Academy's Student Council."

Guilford frowned, while he uttered, "I'm Gilbert G.P Guilford, and I'm Princess Cornelia's personal knight."

Guilford gestured towards Darlton, while he added, "That is Andreas Darlton, whom is Princess Cornelia's best general."

Guilford gestured to both of the royals, while he continued, "As everyone in this room already knows, they are Princess Cornelia and Prince Lelouch."

Guilford then turned towards Rick, whom introduced himself, "It's Rick, but my last name isn't important. As some you already know, I'm a member of SORT."

Guilford nodded his head, while he turned to face Regina, whom uttered, "It's Regina, and I have no intention of revealing my full name. Like Rick, I'm also a member of SORT."

Guilford then turned his head towards Kallen, while he remarked, "I don't think we got your name, but I'm certain you're a member of the Black Knights."

Kallen glared at Guilford, while she spoke, "My name is Kozuki Kallen. I'm Zero's bodyguard, and the pilot of the Guren. For those of you that don't know, it's the red knightmare with the radiant wave surger."

Regina, Rick, Cornelia, Darlton and Guilford felt alarm bells going off in their heads, while the former commented, "Well, I'll be. I never realized the pilot of that knightmare was a little girl."

Kallen glared at Regina, while the younger redhead spat, "If I wasn't outnumbered, I would murder you."

Regina smirked, while Kallen kept glaring at her. Rick raised an eyebrow, while he quickly commented, "That reminds me. Regina said something about Kallen, Zero and herself getting attacked by a big lizard, which she called a dinosaur."

Cornelia, Darlton, Gulford, Milly and Nina blinked, while Regina responded, "That's right. It looked like something straight out of the prehistoric age. The thing stood up on two legs, and it had a sickle shaped claw on both of its feet."

Cornelia, Darlton, Guilford, Milly and Nina frowned, while the latter butted in, "That sounds like the description of a raptor."

Cornelia, Darlton, Guilford, Lelouch, Milly, Regina and Rick glanced at Nina, whom meekly continued, "I've read various books on dinosaurs, which went into detail about the prehistoric beasts."

Cornelia quickly glanced at Milly, whom shrugged her shoulders, and the blonde spoke, "I'm no expert your highness, but I trust Nina's scientific mind."

Cornelia frowned, while she bluntly remarked, "Last time I checked, dinosaurs died out sixty-five million years ago, which makes me question the mental state of you three."

Regina and Kallen raised a couple of brows, while Lelouch had a stoic expression on his face. Cornelia glanced at them, while she continued, "I'm not saying this out of compassion, but out of concern for the dangers you three could pose."

Kallen scowled, while Regina shrugged her shoulders, in addition to Lelouch still having a stoic expression, and Cornelia added, "I think it's clear we have various missions, which can either allow us to work together, or put us into conflict with each other. It would be in our best interest to admit what our mission objectives are, and I'll lead by example. My knights and I were dispatched to keep Dr. Kirk safe, while making sure his research doesn't fall into the enemies' clutches."

Cornelia then turned to face, Regina, whom spoke, "Like the rest of SORT, we too have the same assignment as the Glaston Knights and the Glinda Knights, but I don't know where in the facility the latter are. Gail also mentioned the possibility of the Chinese Federation, United Republic of Europia and Peace Mark being on the island, which doesn't mean we should let our guard down. If I had to guess, their goals are to steal the research data on Third Energy."

Cornelia frowned, while Regina added, "Unlike the Glaston Knights and Glinda Knights, we have an additional mission objective, which is to capture Zero alive."

Kallen scowled at Regina, while Lelouch clenched his fists. Cornelia glared at Regina, while the princess bluntly replied, "I don't agree with your other objective, but can you to tell me how high up the orders came from?"

Regina frowned, while she answered, "They came directly from the emperor himself, which means we cannot refuse them."

Kallen then clenched her fists, while Lelouch glared at the thought of his father using him. Cornelia too clenched her fists, while she expressed her disappointment, "I see. There's nothing I can do to keep Lelouch out of trouble."

Cornelia glanced at Lelouch, whom kept glaring, while he said, "The Black Knights came here to steal Dr. Kirk's research, but we had no way of knowing there was a nightmare awaiting us."

Guilford glared at the Black Knights, while Darlton frowned. Cornelia too kept frowning, while she glanced at Milly, whom uttered, "Nina and I came here with most of the student council, because Lloyd pulled some strings, which he most likely did to impress me. Suzaku also came here with Princess Euphemia, whose current location I do not know."

Darlton facepalmed, while Guilford pinched the bridge of his nose, in addition to Cornelia scowling, and the princess raised her voice, "I swear Lord Asplund will be the death of me someday. When I get my hands on him, he's a deadman."

Milly and Nina shuddered, while Cornelia continued, "With that out of the way, the Black Knights should consider teaming up with SORT, Marrybell's faction and my faction, because some dangerous animals are loose on the island. Once these beasts are disposed of, it's the end our temporarily alliance. Does that sound fair?"

Kallen scowled, while Lelouch spoke up, "As much as I don't like it, we don't have much of a choice at the moment. I accept your deal, but I would like to lay down some terms."

Darlton continued to frown, while Guilford kept glaring at the Black Knights. Cornelia raised a brow, before she questioned her brother, "What are these terms of yours?"

Lelouch kept his cool, while he answered, "Firstly. We'll split up to fulfill various duties, which include locating safe rooms, rounding up survivors, searching for medical supplies, scavenging for weapons, and acquiring ammunition, while making sure not to get killed. Secondly. We should be allowed to continue with our mission objectives, which are the reasons we came to this island. There's a chance only one faction can win, and I'm willing to put my trust in my knights' skills. Thirdly. We should also reunite with our comrades, especially the ones that haven't arrived at the facility. Do you find these terms acceptable?"

Guilford and Darlton held their tongues, while Cornelia responded, "Although I don't agree with the second condition, I will admit the first and third terms are adequate. With the current groups we have, I cannot allow us to tend our duties."

Kallen, Regina and Rick raised a couple of brows, while Leouch gave his sister a stoic expression. Cornelia glanced at Regina, Kallen and Lelouch, while the princess continued, "This will help us keep an eye on one other, which will prevent us from backstabbing each other too. Darlton shall go with Lelouch, while Kallen is with Regina, Guilford and I. Lady Ashford and Ms. Einstein shall stay behind with Rick, whom is charge of hacking his way around the facility, in addition to giving us potential objectives."

Kallen glared at Regina, whom smirked at her, while Darlton and Guilford replied, "As you wish your highness."

Lelouch nodded his head, while Milly raised her hand, before Cornelia turned to face her, and the princess questioned her, "Yes, Lady Ashford?"

Milly exhaled, before she answered, "Princess Cornelia, I would like to volunteer joining Prince Lelouch and General Darlton."

Cornelia raised a brow, while she replied, "I don't know what you hope to accomplish, but it sounds like you're going to get yourself killed."

Milly pouted, while she begged, "Please, your highness. I can guarantee I won't be a burden, because I know how to handle a firearm, and I took some self-defense classes, which my grandfather paid for."

Cornelia narrowed her eyes, while sighed, "Very well. You can join Darlton and Lelouch."

Milly squeed, while Cornelia shook her head, before she glanced at Kallen, Lelouch and Regina, whom opened their packs. The three of them pulled out some medical kits, which they removed some rubbing alcohol from. Regina exhaled, before she questioned the other six, "Could any of you please help dress our wounds, while I tend to my own wound?"

Cornelia nodded her head, before she turned towards Darlton, whom she ordered, "Treat Ms. Kozuki's wounds. I'll dress Lelouch's wound."

Darlton placed his hand on his chest, while he responded, "As you wish, your highness."

Cornelia and Darlton approached the the wounded, before they knelt close to them. Cornelia pulled Lelouch's right sleeve up, before Darlton and the princess grabbed the bottles of alcohol, which they unscrewed. The three soldiers unscrewed the caps, before they poured the alcohol on the cuts of the wounded, whom gritted their teeth, while their faces crinkled in pain, and the three soldiers tilted the bottles away from their wounds. Cornelia, Darlton and Regina screwed the tops back onto the bottles, which they returned to the medical kits, before they removed some pads out of them. Kallen placed the bandage on her right leg, while Lelouch set one on his right arm, and Regina pressed one against her right shoulder, before they turned to face the others.

Cornelia reached into Lelouch's medical kit, while Darlton put his hand inside of Kallen's medical kit, and Regina shoved her hand inside of her packet, all of which they removed some bandages from. Cornelia and Darlton then pressed the bandages against the pads, which they gradually wrapped the wounds around the pads, before they secured the bandages. The two soldiers proceeded to check the circulation of Lelouch and Kallen, before the two soldiers felt the circulation was okay. Cornelia and Darlton returned the bandages to the medical kits, which they shut. Lelouch, Regina and Kallen carefully stood up, while the former spoke, "I know that I don't speak for everyone, but thank you."

Cornelia stared at her brother, while she replied, "You're welcome."

Cornelia glanced at everyone in the room, while she noticed Regina struggling with the bandages on her shoulder, and the princess approached the SORT agent, before the princess questioned her, "I can tell you're having trouble with getting those bandages wrapped around your shoulder, which requires you reaching behind your back. Do you need any help?"

Regina frowned, while she sighed, "Yes, your highness. I need help, especially since it's hard for me to wrap the bandages around my back. Could we please go somewhere more private?"

Cornelia frowned, while she answered, "I suppose so, but I cannot deny it's probably dangerous."

Cornelia turned to the others, before she sternly continued, "This won't take long, so no peeking. I know I can trust Darlton and Guilford, but I cannot say the same about Rick, nor my own brother."

Lelouch and Rick felt insulted, while Cornelia's two subordinates took pride in the trust their princess had in them. Regina and Cornelia walked outside of the room, while Kallen and the men waited. As the seconds turned to minutes, Cornelia and Regina reentered the room. Regina had a noticeable pair of bandages covering her right shoulder, in addition to her packet being shut. Cornelia stepped away from Regina, before she sternly said, "Now that we're in healthy conditions, we're just about ready to move out."

Regina nodded, before she turned to face Rick, whom she questioned, "What's our status?"

Rick started typing on the keyboard, while he answered, "This security system is a snap for me. Real amateur stuff."

Rick continued typing, before he clicked enter. Rick stopped, before he turned the chair in Regina's direction. Rick frowned, while he questioned Regina, "So, what exactly happened to Gail? You said that he was attacked by a dinosaur."

Regina kept her cool, while she responded, "Yeah. I couldn't believe it. I just hope he's still alive. Anyway, our first priority is to complete the mission."

Regina turned away from Rick, while Nina approached the static monitors on the other side of the room, and the civilian halted, while Rick uttered, "What we oughta do is just call in a vtol, and get off this death trap."

Regina shook her head, while she remarked, "That's a great idea, but Cooper has the radio, and he's missing."

Nina typed on the keyboard, before she frowned, and she quickly turned to face Rick, while she questioned him, "What's wrong with these monitors?"

Rick frowned, while he answered, "The one in the middle is the security monitor for the underground area, but the other two aren't important right now. The cameras are offline."

Nina frowned, while she replied, "So, power still hasn't been restored to the area."

Rick kept frowning, while he responded, "Exactly. They must have that area wired to a different power system than the ground level."

Nina frowned, while she uttered, "I see."

Nina walked back to the clear monitors, before she took a seat, while Regina placed her hand from her left hip, and the SORT agent commented, "We can investigate that area, after we finish the ground sweep of the ground level."

Rick continued frowning, while he replied, "Okay then. I'll take care of the shutters that are blocking the way. You work your way in, grab the doc, and rendezvous back here."

Regina nodded her head, while Cornelia remarked, "It sounds like a good idea. Move out."

Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen and Regina stepped close to the door, which opened, before they stepped outside. Rick continued typing, while he questioned the dilemma, "What's the deal with his place anyway?"

Nina took a seat next to Rick, while Darlton, Lelouch and Milly proceeded to set foot outside of the control room, before they followed the group of four, while Rick commented, "Yeah. Now what I want to know is where those things are coming from."

The seven individuals had turned right, before they walked forward, and they took a left, while they walked in the direction of the vent. The two groups approached a door, which they opened, before they set foot in the management office, and there was a blood trail starting at the other door. Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen, Regina, Darlton, Lelouch and Milly followed the blood trail, while going through an entryway, before they came upon the corpse of a security guard. Most of the individuals in the two groups frowned, while Milly covered her mouth in a combination of shock and horror. Lelouch narrowed his eyes, while he stepped forward, before he knelt beside the corpse, and her noted, "He's been gouged in the torso."

Lelouch noticed a panel key, which had a medal emblem on it, and the word, "LEO" above the emblem. Lelouch grabbed the panel key, which he pocketed, while Cornelia eyed him, and she commented, "It seems living amongst commoners hasn't affected your intellect."

Lelouch too frowned, while he responded, "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear you say that. I'll make sure to find the electronic lock, before I make good use of this panel. My group will go back the way we came, because I need to show the animal killed by Kallen, Regina and I. Along the way, we might find anything I missed."

Cornelia kept frowning, while she replied, "Very well. My group will carry on in the opposite direction, but we need to finish browsing this office first."

Lelouch nodded his head, while Kallen turned to face the lockers, before she walked closer to them, and she remarked, "Must be the personal property of the guardsman. There's probably nothing useful in these lockers."

The two groups exited the storage area, while Cornelia's group looked around the management office, and Lelouch's group approached the door near the clock, before he opened it. Once Darlton, Milly and Lelouch set foot outside, the prince closed the door behind them, while Cornelia gazed at a few papers on a desk. On the desk there were also a computer and modem. Cornelia stared intently at the pieces of paper, while she commented, "Nothing but files scattered about."

Cornelia shook her head, before she approached a bulletin, which had papers pinned to it, and she remarked, "The guard rotation schedule is posted here. It's not useful anymore."

Gulford stood next to Cornelia, while Kallen stood in front of another computer, and Regina a briefcase, which was near the door that Lelouch's group exited. Regina opened the briefcase, which contained a shotgun, and she grabbed the weapon, while she carefully inspected it. Guilford eyed a switch on a keypad, while Cornelia turned to face the windows, and she saw a more organized file on a shelf, which she approached. Cornelia inspected the files, while she noted, "These documents are related to security."

Cornelia continued eying the documents, while she noticed a DDK Input Disc, which had the letter H marked on it, and she grasped it. Cornelia pocketed it, while she eyed a box, which she commented on, "Something seems to be inside the cardboard box."

Cornelia reached inside of the box, before pulling out a plug, which she pocketed, and she went to browsing the documents. All the while, Guilford pressed the switch, which beeped, and the computer close to Kallen activated. Kallen raised an eyebrow, while she raised her voice, "All of you need to see this."

Cornelia, Guilford and Regina turned to face Kallen, while they approached the computer, before gathered around it. The group eyed the monitor, which displayed an email that was titled, "New Email Education". Guilford, Kallen and Regina listened, while Cornelia read the email out loud, "Please inform the new employee assigned to this department about the DDK system as follows: The digital disc key or DDK is a system that secures our most Important areas with an advanced locking device. To release the locks protected by the DDK, prepare and set the following two data discs at the locking device near the door: "DDK Code Disc X" and DDK Code Disc X". The type of the DDK you need is indicated on the door: "A", "B", etc. If the DDK type you use does not match, you cannot release the lock. Before operating the system, make sure that your DDK type matches the door you wish to unlock."

Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen and Regina raised a few brows, while the princess commented, "Interesting. This might prove to be useful. Come to think of it, I already have a DDK in my possession, which means I need one more with the letter H to open a specific door."

Regina and Kallen nodded, while Guilford responded, "Indeed, your highness. This assignment will be no different, especially since we've faced worse odds."

Cornelia nodded, while Regina remarked, "True, but this situation is quite chaotic. After all, it's possible a dinosaur might have swallowed one of the DDKs, which should cause the beast to croak, and it would be one less animal to deal with."

Cornelia and Guilford frowned, while Kallen uttered, "If that were to happen, I'm not going to dissect an overgrown lizard."

Regina smirked, while Kallen glared at her, and Cornelia turned around, before she approached the bloody doorway. Guilford, Kallen and Regina followed Cornelia, while she opened the door, before the group set foot in the management office hallway. Cornelia closed the door behind her, while Regina's communicator blinked and beeped. Regina answered it, immediately before Rick spoke, "Regina, I took care of the shutters. You should be able to access the control panel now."

Next to the red laser shutters were control panels with red lights, which turned green. Cornelia, Guilford and Kallen listened, while Regina replied, "Already? That was quick. Thanks."

From his end of the call, Rick responded, "Hey, girl. Just get going."

A hiss emitted from the corner, which put the group of four on alert. Cornelia and Guilford did not recognize the strange sound, while the redheads were reminded of their first encounter with a dinosaur. The group of four turned to the hallway corner, where they saw a raptor poking its head from the corner, which shocked the princess and her knight. The raptor quickly ran around the corner, while it rushed at the group of four, and it leaped towards them. Regina aimed her shotgun at the raptor, while she squeezed the trigger, which caused a bang, and the bullet pierced the unfortunate beast.

The raptor screeched, while it landed on the ground, and it collapsed, immediately before it writhed in agony. As a pool of blood poured around the beast, it ceased its movements, while Cornelia and Guilford stared in shock. Kallen and Regina glared at the dead animal, while Guilford broke the silence, "Is this the type of animal you encountered?"

Kallen didn't take her eyes off the dinosaur, while she answered, "Yeah. We encountered one near the backup generator."

Guilford frowned, while Cornelia remarked, "So, this is a dinosaur. This shouldn't even be possible, but we're looking at one right now. What in the hell is Dr. Kirk up to?"

Regina too frowned, while she replied, "I don't know, but we should keep moving."

Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen and Regina walked away from the corpse, while they approached a door, which the former opened. The group was greeted to a locker room, which they set foot in, before the princess closed the door, and they scanned the room for anything of use. Guildord looked at a poster, which he commented on, "It's a glamorous lady, and she appears to be smiling. I better look elsewhere."

Kallen stared at an old poster, before she approached the lockers, which she inspected. Guilford approached a stack of boxes, which he rummaged through. As guilford looked in the boxed, he remarked, "Some of these objects belong to the researchers. Sadly, there's nothing of use here."

Guilford stepped away from the boxes, before he spotted a pack, which he grasped, and he opened it. When Guilford saw there were tranquilizers inside, he closed the pack, before he approached Regina, whom he handed the pack to, and she spoke, "Thanks."

Guilford walked past Regina, while he replied, "Don't mention it."

Guilford then approached the lockers, which he inspected, while Regina opened her packet, and then she opened the tranquilizer packet. Regina removed the tranquilizers from the packet, before she placed them in her pack, which she shut, and she proceeded to drop the empty pack on the floor. Cornelia walked over to a table, which had papers and a journal with the words, "Guardsmen" printed on it. Cornelia looked at the papers, which she commented on, "These are documents on security. They're not very useful."

Cornelia proceeded to grasp the journal, which she noted was dated today, and she frowned, while she read out loud, "Before tonight's experiment, the chief and Dr. Kirk will be having a meeting at the 2nd floor lounge from 1:00 PM. Those who are scheduled to guard should keep a preponderant eye on the area in front of the chief's room, and the surrounding vicinity. Before taking positions, be sure to resupply your ammunition in the custody room. The weapon storage in the custody room can be opened with the combination, 0426". We have also received information that spies have sneaked into the facility recently. If anything happens, you may have to enter the rooms of the chief and the professor in order to ensure their safety. Cornelia Guilford, Kallen and Regina frowned, while the latter approached one of the lockers, which she stretched her hand out towards. Regina felt against the top of the locker, before her hand brushed against something, which she grasped, and she pulled it down. Regina looked at the item, which was a DDK with the letter H on it. Regina smiled, while she spoke up, "I found a matching DDK."

Cornelia, Guilford and Kallen smiled, while the former replied, "Very good, soldier. We just need to find the door, and then we'll open up a new route. Now hand it over."

Regina approached Cornelia, whom took the DDK from Regina, before the princess pocketed the disc. Regina stepped back, before a thump was heard against one of the lockers, which got the group's attention, and they turned to face the locker. The four soldiers frowned, while they approached the set of lockers, before they noticed one that was slightly open, and Kallen grabbed the locker. Kallen swung the locker open, which revealed a Japanese man, whom had brown eyes, short red hair, and slightly tanned skin. In terms of clothing, he wore the uniform of the Black Knights, and he had a red bandana around his head.

Regina pointed her shotgun at the man, while Kallen questioned him, "Tamaki? You're still alive?"

Tamaki raised his hands, while he scowled, "Yeah. No thanks to getting separated from the others, while I ran into an overgrown lizard, which tried to eat me, and I had to hide in this locker."

Cornelia and Guilford raised a couple of brows, while Regina lowered her shotgun, before Tamaki continued, "Just what in the hell are you doing with the princess and her knight? Have you gone rogue, Kallen?"

Karen glared at Tamaki, whom she snapped at, "No, you idiot. I haven't betrayed Zero. I'm only working with them, because Zero agreed to a temporary alliance, which we have the dinosaurs to thank for, but the hunt for Dr. Kirk is still ongoing."

Tamaki blinked, while he responded, "I'll admit I'm not the most intelligent member of the Black Knights, but I'm pretty sure dinosaurs are extinct."

Kallen frowned, while she replied, "Unfortunately, that's not true anymore, because there's raptors running loose on the island."

Tamaki gawked, while he questioned Kallen, "Wait a minute. Are you serious?"

Kallen kept frowning, while she answered, "Yes, I am. Where's your submachine gun?"

Tamaki frowned, while he sighed, "Unfortunately, I lost it in one of the hallways, because a big ass lizard jumped me, which caused my firearm to fly out of my hands, and another lizard was too close to it. Because I couldn't retrieve my weapon, I booked it, and now I'm here in a locker, which is embarrassing."

Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen and Regina frowned, while Tamaki added, "Now that we have freaking dinosaurs running around the island, this mission has become pointless. I say we regroup with our comrades at the submarine, and hightail it outta here."

Kallen scowled, while she sarcastically spoke to her comrade, "Nice going, you moron. While you're at it, why don't you just tell the Brits some more military secrets?"

Tamaki just realized his blunder, while he sheepishly replied, "Uh, just pretended you guys didn't hear that."

Cornelia and Guilford raised a couple of brows, while Regina smirked. Kallen kept scowling at Tamaki, before she sighed, "Head over to the control room, where two Brits are operating the controls. When we find your weapon, I'll be sure to return it to you."

Tamaki frowned, before he responded, "Roger."

Tamaki got out of the locker, before he quickly approached the door. Before Tamaki could open the door, Kallen spoke up, "Hold up. I just remembered something important to tell you."

Tamaki stopped, while Kallen continued, "Zero and I had an earlier encounter with a raptor, which shattered his mask. As a result, I learned he's a Britannian, wh-"

"What the hell?!" Tamaki raised his voice, while added, "Why are we taking orders from a stinking Brit? He could be trying to se-"

"Just shut the hell up, you idiot!" Kallen shouted, while Tamaki closed his mouth, before Kallen exhaled, and she resumed speaking, "As I was saying, Zero has a grudge against Britannia, and there's the possibility of Kirihara knowing his civilian identity, which explains why he was so quick to support him."

Cornelia, Guilford and Regina frowned, while Tamaki questioned Kallen, "That's strange. Why do you sound like you're trusting him?"

Kallen sighed, before she answered, "I don't know, but I can shake the feeling he might keep his end of the bargain. If he helps us liberate Japan, we'll help him obliterate Britannia."

Tamaki raised a brow, while he questioned Kallen, "So, what you're say is we scratch his back, he'll scratch ours?"

Cornelia and Guilford kept frowning, while Regina stifled her giggling, before Kallen answered, "Yes, that's why we're working with Zero."

Tamaki narrowed his eyes, while he remarked, "This is just too weird. I'm outta here."

Tamaki opened the door, before he set foot outside, while Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen and Regina stared at the door. Guilford frowned, while he questioned Kallen, "Is it even wise to let him run free? If left unchecked, he could sabotage our efforts. After all, he is a terrorist."

Kallen shot a glare at Guilford, while she mumbled, "This is why I hate Britannians."

Guilford glared back at Kallen, while he opened his mouth, but Cornelia stretched out her hand in front of him, which silenced her knight. Keeping her eyes forward, Cornelia spoke, "Guilford, it would best if you would stop antagonizing the Black Knights, because the last thing we need is to fight amongst ourselves. I won't deny I don't like working with them, but we're in a fight for our very lives."

Guilford placed his right hand over his chest, while he obediently replied, "As you wish, your highness."

Kallen scowled, while she spat, "I didn't need your help, so don't expect any gratitude from me."

Guilford glared at Kallen, while she stormed off, and she opened the door, before she set foot in the hallway. Cornelia sighed, while Regina commented, "Talk about a lack of gratitude."

Cornelia frowned, while she uttered, "There's no point in lallygagging. Let's go."

Cornelia, Guilford and Regina walked into the hallway, where they saw the two Black Knights crouched over the corpse of the raptor. The three soldiers approached Kallen and Tamaki, while the latter remarked, "This is a dinosaur? It doesn't look so tough."

Tamaki poked the dead raptor, while Guilford, Regina and Cornelia stopped behind them, before Kallen responded, "I wouldn't underestimate them. One of those beasts scratched my leg, but we're lucky a single shotgun blast was enough to kill one of them."

Tamaki stopped poking the raptor, while he replied, "Well, we'll just have to gather more firepower, and make these animals extinct."

Kallen frowned, while she uttered, "Somehow, I have feeling it won't be so easy."

Tamaki too frowned, while Kallen and him raised their backs, before they stood up straight. Tamaki glanced at Kallen, while he questioned her, "Where's the control room?"

Kallen made eye contact with Tamaki, while she answered, "It's beyond the door with the blood trail. After you enter the management office, open the next door, and you'll find yourself in a hallway, which is connected to the control room."

Tamaki kept frowning, while he muttered, "Thanks."

Tamaki approached the bloody door, while Kallen muttered, "Anytime."

Kallen watched Tamaki, while he opened the door, and he set foot inside the room, before he closed the door behind him. Cornelia stepped past Kallen, while she approached the door. Guilford and Regina walked ahead of Kallen, while they followed Cornelia. Kallen followed the group, while Cornelia opened the door, before she entered the management office, but Tamaki was nowhere in sight. As soon as Guilford, Kallen and Regina also reached the doorway, they came to a halt.

Cornelia closed the door behind her, before she followed the blood trail, and she walked past the corpse, while she eyed the safe in front of her. Cornelia halted at the safe, before she knelt close to it. Cornelia typed 0426 on the keypad, which resulted in a beeping noise, and the safe opening up, before Cornelia pulled it open. Cornelia noticed there was medical pack and a key, which had the words "Main entrance" carved onto it. Cornelia grabbed the key, which she pocketed, before she grasped the medical packet, and she opened her larger packet.

Cornelia placed the medical kit into her pack, before she shut it. Cornelia stood back up, before she walked out of the storage area, and she approached the bloody doorway, which she immediately opened. Cornelia then entered the hallway, while she closed the door behind her, before she walked past her group, and she turned toward the keypad. Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen and Regina approached the laser shutters, before they stopped in front of them. Cornelia pressed a switch close the shutters, which deactivated them, before her group walked towards the double doors, and she opened them.

Kallen and Regina stared in awe at the main entrance, which was large, while the latter commented, "Looks like someone spared no expense."

Cornelia, Guilford and Kallen ignored Regina, while the former two walked into the main entrance. The redheads followed the princess and her knight, while they noticed the staircase, in addition to four other doors in the room. Cornelia's group approached a large set of double doors, which they halted in front of, before Cornelia removed the key from her pocket, and she used it to unlock the double doors. Cornelia removed the key from the double doors, before she discarded it, and the double doors slid open, which greeted them to some bushes outside. Cornelia, Guilford, Regina and Kallen stepped outside, while they noticed part of the wall had crumbled, in addition to the fences having been busted up too.

As the group began to survey the area, they frowned. Cornelia Guilford, Kallen and Regina split up, while they walked in the garden. Regina halted in front of a medical pack, which she grasped, while she opened her packet, and she shoved her medical kit inside. Regina then shut her medical kit, before she approached a box of shotgun shells in the opposite direction. Regina halted, before she grabbed the shotgun shells, and then she reopened her packet, which she placed the bullets inside of.

Regina shut her pack, while she noticed Kallen was kneeling over a bloody corpse, and a blood trail led to a large steel door. Kallen grabbed a DDK, which had the letter N on it. Kallen grinned, while she opened her packet, which she put the disc in, and she proceeded to remove a first aid kit off the corpse. Kallen shoved the first aid into her packet, before she shut it, and she frowned, while she remarked, "Only the upper body and a single arm are all that's left."

Kallen turned to look at a file, which she read aloud, "Personal changes of researchers. Old section: Special aircraft experiment room. New section: Third Energy physics laboratory. Registration number: 57036. Name: Mark Doyle."

Kallen stood back up, while she approached a large steel door, and there was a sign on it, which had the words "Heliport ahead". Kallen pulled the door, which didn't budge, because it was locked, and she stopped. Kallen turned to face Regina, whom turned around. The redheads walked forward, while they approached Cornelia and Guilford, whom were staring intently at the crumbled wall, which they believed was out of the ordinary. The redheads stopped close to the princess and her knight, while they frowned.

Cornelia glanced at the gate, which appeared to be busted up. Cornelia then glanced at the rubble, while she commented, "Something big came through here, while it smashed the wall from outside, before it dented the gate, and knocked the doors off their henges."

Cornelia walked closer to the wall, before she placed her hands on the edges, and she scanned the nearby jungle, while she continued, "Hmm. There don't appear to be any signs of machinery."

Cornelia kept scanning the jungle, before she noticed a set of birdlike footprints, which were 3.3 ft. long and 1.55 ft. wide. Cornelia narrowed her eyes, while she added, "Looks like I found evidence of our culprit, and it appears to be larger than a raptor."

Guilford narrowed his eyes, while he stepped towards the crumbled section, and the redheads followed him, before they halted. The three of them noticed the tracks, which gave them an ominous feeling, and Kallen stared in shock, while Regina narrowed her eyes. Guilford too narrowed his eyes, while he uttered, "Whatever did this was also strong and durable. I have a bad feeling it's on the prowl too, which means the jungle isn't safe."

Kallen felt her heart drop into her stomach, while Regina and Cornelia frowned. The princess tuned to face the rebel, before the former spoke, "Contact my brother immediately. He needs to know the situation is more dire than we anticipated."

Kallen nodded, before she pulled a radio off her belt, and she turned the device on, which spoke into, "Lelouch, can you hear me? If you're there, please respond."

*Elsewhere with Lelouch's group*

Darlton, Lelouch and Milly were walking in the passageway that led to the backup generator, while revolutionary's radio crackled. Lelouch grabbed his radio, which he removed from his belt, before he turned the device on, and he answered, "Kallen?"

From the other end of the conversation, Kallen replied, "Yeah. It's me, Lelouch. We have a situation, which involves some damage close to the front entrance of the facility. There weren't any signs of machinery, but the destruction was most likely caused by a living organism, which left behind a set of tracks, while having possibly killed a scientist too. The tracks appear to be 3 ft. long and 1 ft. wide, which tells me the animal appears to be large."

Darlton, Lelouch and Milly frowned, while the ex-prince responded, "Thank you for the warning. My group will steer clear of the jungle, while we take care of our duty. Afterwards, we'll return to the control room. In the meantime, it would be best to avoid the jungle."

Lelouch was about to hang up, while Kallen uttered, "Before you end the conversation, you need to know I found Tamaki, and he has returned to the control room, where he's hopefully not causing trouble."

Lelouch had a stoic expression on his face, while he replied, "I see. I'll speak to you later."

Lelouch turned his radio off, before he reattached it to his belt. Darlton, Milly and Lelouch kept walking, while they came across the corpse of the security guard, which made the blonde feel slick. Darlton frowned, while Lelouch didn't seem bothered by the sight, and the trio walked past the corpse of the security guard, before they followed a blood trail. As Milly, Darlton and Lelouch continued walking, they spotted the corpse of the raptor, which stunned the former two. Once Lelouch, Milly and Darlton got close to the dead dinosaur, they halted, while the latter two carefully inspected it.

Darlton kicked the animal, which didn't move, while he frowned, and Milly nervously gulped. Lelouch had a stoic expression on his face, while he questioned them, "Does this prove we're dealing with dinosaurs?"

Darlton kept frowning, while he answered, "Yes, it does, your highness. I don't know what Dr. Kirk is up to, but he owes us an explanation. Whatever is going on isn't natural, and he may hold the answers we seek."

Lelouch glanced at Darlton, while the prince responded, "It's plausible, but it's also possible that Dr. Kirk isn't responsible for dinosaurs reappearing."

Darlton nodded, while Lelouch turned to face Milly, whom spoke up, "However these beasts have returned, I'm not sure I want to know, but we should keep moving, because it's not safe out here."

Darlton and Lelouch nodded, while the group of three turned around, before they walked down the passageway. Darlton, Lelouch and Milly kept walking, while they approached the door, which the former opened. As soon as Milly and Lelouch stepped past Darlton, before the large man followed them. Darlton closed the door, before Lelouch, Milly and him approached the door leading to the door on their left. Darlton, Milly and Lelouch halted, while they noticed the door to their left was opened, which made them frown.

Darlton pulled an assault rifle of his back, before he unholstered his pistol, which he grasped and handed to Milly, whom accepted it. Lelouch unholstered his pistol, before Milly, Darlton and and him aimed their weapons, while the general placed his free hand on his assault rifle as they quickly approached the generator. With each step they took, they felt their heartbeats speed up, while they kept their cool, and then they positioned themselves behind the large object. Darlton, Lelouch and Milly waited, while they heard the distinct sound of footsteps, which caused them to tighten their grip on their firearms.

As Lelouch's group waited, the footsteps got closer, before they stopped close to the generator, and they ran around the generator as they aimed their weapons at their enemies, whom were pointing their pistols at them. Lelouch's group saw a long blonde girl and a girl with Spanish pink long hair, which was tied up in a ponytail. The Spanish pink haired girl wore a low-cut pink dress with red and black details, which had gold lining, in addition to white wings attached to her back. In terms of footwear, the Spanish pink haired girl wore red heels. When it came to the blonde, she wore a uniform, which consisted of buttoned sleeveless shirt and a long-sleeved jacket.

She also adorned a black and red corset like skirt, which covered a short white skirt. The blonde also wore a red military cap, in addition to thigh-length white heeled boots. The Spanish pink haired woman had violet and fair skin, while her companion had green eyes, in addition to also being fair skinned. The pinkette was 17-years-old, while the blonde was the same age. The name of the pinkette was Marrybell mel Britannia, whom was the 88th in line to the throne, and was Charles zi Britannia's third eldest daughter.

By extension, she was another one of Lelouch's half-siblings. As for the blonde, she was Oldrin Zevon, and she was Marrybell's bodyguard, in addition to her lover. Marrybell and Oldrin stared in shock, while the latter questioned, "Prince Lelouch? Is that you?"

Lelouch narrowed his eyes, while Marrybell spoke up, "Lelouch? You're alive?"

Lelouch glared at the duo, while Marrybell continued, "I knew it. I just knew it was impossible for you have to have perished in Area Eleven, because you're too intelligent."

Darlton, Lelouch, Marrybell, Milly and Oldrin lowered their weapons, while the former politely spoke, "Your highness, I'm pleased to see you and Lady Zevon are alive."

Marrybell smiled, while she replied, "It's a good thing you're alive too, General Darlton."

Marrybell then glanced at Milly, before the princess continued, "If I'm not mistaken, you're Lord Ruben's granddaughter. Is the old bulldog still faring well?"

Milly smiled, while she answered, "Indeed. Ever since Lady Marianne was murdered, my grandfather has been on hard times, but he doesn't allow it to prevent him from running Ashford Academy, which he is proud of."

Marrybell kept smiling, while she responded, "I'm pleased to hear he's okay, and I should visit the academy someday."

Marrybell glanced at Lelouch, while the princess spoke, "It would seem you're Zero, which I don't approve of, but the answers to my questions can wait, because we need to head somewhere safe first."

Lelouch continued glaring at Marrybell, while he replied, "Fair enough, Marrybell. We'll come back here later, but we need to meet up with Cornelia's group too."

Marrybell beamed, while she commented, "This is already shaping up to a great family reunion. Please lead the way, Lulu."

Milly giggled, before Lelouch approached the door, while his group followed him, and the duo stayed close behind them. Darlton, Lelouch, Milly, Marrybell and Oldrin walked through the doorway, before they set foot into the other half of the facility's backyard, which the princess followed up with shutting the door behind her. Darlton, Lelouch, Milly, Marrybell and Oldrin approached the door up ahead, which the former opened, before the latter four entered the interior of the facility. Darlton entered the office hallway, before he closed the door behind him. Darlton, Lelouch, Marrybell, Milly and Oldrin strode through the hallway, while they heard the growling from outside the window, which caused them to halt.

The five humans aimed their weapons, while they kept moving forward, and they turned left, before seeing the laser shutters up ahead. As they approached the laser shutters, part of the glass shattered behind them, immediately before a raptor landed on the floor, and it growled. Lelouch, Darlton, Milly, Marrybell and Oldrin spun around, before they spotted the beast, which proceeded to hiss at them. Darlton aimed his assault rifle at the raptor, while Lelouch and Milly pointed their pistols at the prehistoric animal, which swiftly ran at its prey. Marrybell and Oldrin stared in shock, while they froze, which the dinosaur took advantage of.

Once the raptor was within five feet of its prey, Darlton squeezed the trigger, which sprayed a hail of bullets at the beast, and it blood sprayed out of it. The dinosaur screeched, while it tripped onto the ground, and blood seeped from its wounds, which caused a pool of red liquid to form around it. The raptor squirmed, while it hissed, before it stopped moving, and the blood continued spreading around it. Oldrin and Marrybell regained the will to will, while they pointed their weapons upwards. Darlton Lelouch, Milly, Marrybell and Oldrin frowned, while the latter remarked, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's a dinosaur."

Marrybell stared intently at the beast, while she responded, "I agree, because it looks like a raptor of some sort. If I had to guess, their return is connected to Third Energy."

Darlton narrowed his eyes, while he commented, "I came to a similar conclusion, but Prince Lelouch thinks it's also possible they aren't connected to Dr. Kirks's experiment."

Marrybell raised an eyebrow, while she replied, "Really? My brother certainly is keeping an open mind."

Oldrin cleared her throat, before Darlton, Lelouch, Marrybell and Milly turned to face the Zevon heiress, whom spoke, "I hate to interrupt, but we really need to head to a safe zone."

Darlton, Lelouch and Milly agreed, while Marrybell responded, "Agreed."

The group of five turned around, before they approached the shutter, which they stopped in front of, and the younger blonde pushed a switch. The shutter turned off, before the group walked closer to the door, and they stopped, while Milly pressed a second switch. The laser shutters were reactivated, while the lasers horizontally shot in between the two switches, before Darlton, grabbed the door, and he opened it. Darlton, Lelouch, Marrybell, Milly and Oldrin were greeted to the sight of the main entrance, while the latter four entered the massive room, before the former followed them inside. Darlton closed the door behind him, before Lelouch, Milly, Marrybell, Oldrin and him walked towards the door straight ahead.

When the reached the door, Lelouch opened it, before Darlton, Marrybell, Milly and Oldrin entered the management office hallway. Lelouch immediately entered the hallway, before he shut the door behind him, and the group approached another door, which was to their left. Lelouch opened the management office door, which he held as he spoke, "After you."

Marrybell covered her mouth, while she giggled, "You're quite the gentleman, Lulu."

Oldrin smiled, while Darlton, Marrybell, Milly and herself entered the management office. Lelouch followed them inside, while he shut the door, before Marrybell, Milly and Oldrin grabbed a couple of seats. The three ladies rolled them away from the three computers, before they sat down, while Lelouch and Darlton stood up. The group made eye contact, while Marrybell said, "Lelouch, I already deduced why you became Zero."

Lelouvh had a stoic expression, while Marrybell continued, "You confronted the emperor, because you were angry at him for not preventing Lady Marianne's death, and for calling off the investigation of her murder, which led to you discarding your claim to the throne. As a result, the emperor banished you and Nunnally to Area Eleven, which eventually led to the country getting annexed by Britannia. Due to the horrors you witnessed, you became traumatized, while surviving and making sure Nunnally didn't die too. You probably even believed the emperor put your lives at risk, which led to you vowing to obliterate Britannia, and I don't blame you for being angry, because I probably would have done the same thing. Am I right?"

Darlton, Milly and Oldrin had neutral expressions, while Lelouch clenched his fists as he answered, "You are indeed correct, Marry. As usual, you're astute."

Marrybell smiled, while she replied, "Indeed. Despite our differences, we're against the same thing."

Darlton, Lelouch, Milly and Oldrin listened, while Marrybell added, "I'm a soldier, and you're a revolutionary, which should make us enemies. Because both you and I are against terrorism, I have no reason to be hostile to you, which probably won't be enough to convince you."

Lelouch stared intently at Marrybell, while he responded, "You have made some good points, but I'll need to hear more out of you first."

Marrybell kept smiling, while she replied, "Very well. I can sympathize with you and Nunnally, because my mother too was murdered, which was the result of terrorists bombing her villa on her birthday. My sister Julia was also murdered by the same cell on the same day, which is why I have dedicated my life to ridding the world of terrorism. As a fellow kindred spirit, will you trust me?"

Lelouch frowned, while he sighed, "I cannot deny we share a common tragedy, but I can't admit I will fully trust you, because you believe your mother and sister were murdered by terrorists, which seems unlikely."

Darlton, Milly, Marrybell and Oldrin frowned, while Lelouch continued, "As you know, my mother was also murdered in her own villa, but I know terrorists weren't responsible for the murders of two consorts and one heiress, because Pendragon is too secure for a mere terrorist to sneak in. Their deaths prove one thing, which is that they were murdered by someone from the imperial family."

Marrybell and Oldrin stared in shock, while the blonde stammered, "T-That can't be true."

Marrybell glared at Lelouch, while she coldly responded to her brother, "You're lying. I don't know why you're spouting such nonsense, but it's not possible someone from our family would murder my mother and sister."

Lelouch stared intently at Marrybell, while he thought, 'Something is wrong here. Marrybell shouldn't believe terrorists murdered her mother and sister, because she's a genius like me. She has either suffered severe trauma to the head, which has negatively affected her memory, or someone used geass on her to make her forget the identity of the real assassin. Regardless of which explanation is true, Marrybell doesn't remember who murdered her mother and sister.''

Lelouch stopped pondering, before he questioned his half-sister, "On the day of that tragedy, did you see the face of the person that assassinated Julia and Lady Flora?"

Marrybell frowned, while she answered, "Despite being present at my mother's birthday, I don't remember seeing the face of the terrorist. I mean I think I saw their face, but I cannot remember for some reason. I'm pretty sur-"

Marrybell clutched her head in pain, while she groaned, and she averted her eyes, before she got out of her seat. Darlton, Milly and Oldrin stared at the princess out of concern, while Lelouch frowned. Oldrin and Milly got out of their seats, while the former approached Marrybell, and the princess motioned for her to stop, which the bodyguard did. Marrybell turned to face the door, while she commented, "I'm fine, Oldrin. It's just a headache."

Oldrin narrowed her eyes, while she questioned the princess, "Are you sure, your highness? I could search for some aspirins."

Marrybell gave Oldrin a small smile, while she answered, "Thank you for your concern, but you shouldn't worry. After all, I just need a moment to clear my head."

Oldrin put her hand on her chest, while she replied, "As you wish, your highness."

Marrybell stumbled as she approached the locker doorway, while she was clutching her head in in pain, and she entered the other portion of the room, before she collapsed onto the floor. Lelouch and Oldrin quickly rushed over to Marrybell, while Darlton felt concerned as he stared into the storage area. Milly frowned, while she quickly approached the glass barrier, which she stared through, and Oldrin raised her voice, "Princess Marrybell."

Oldrin and Lelouch stood over Marrybell, while the princess clutched her head. Lelouch frowned, while he gazed at his half-sister's eyes, which had red rings surrounding her irises, and he clenched his fists. Oldrin helped Marrybell get back on her feet, while Lelouch thought, 'It's just as I feared. Marrybell is under the influence of geass.'
