Juryrig a Siren's Call

When Jaune woke up from his nap, he noticed that BB was talking to the girl he rescued, Mangle if he remembered. The girl was cleaned up more and when he coughed, she turned in surprise, revealing a single amber eye. The girl sighed in relief as the other head watched, amused as Jaune noted the other amber eye.

"Oh good, you're awake" she spoke, sounding a bit shy as BB laughed. Mangle pouted as Jaune got up and stretched, yawning despite it being midday. This made him pause as Mangle placed a bowl of fruit, which contained strawberries, bananas and apples. He smiled as he ate the selection, listening to BB as he settled his hunger.

"Okay, the next few floors belong to Toy Chica and Toy Bonnie, who both have some scary semblances." This caused Jaune to raise an eyebrow, making BB clarify "Toy Chica can force those weaker than her to obey just by singing and Toy Bonnie's semblance grants him full control on any metal, I believe." That made Jaune gulp in surprise, swallowing a strawberry as he did. He knew getting Nora back was going to be troublesome but Hypnotism? Metal Manipulation that exceeded Pyrrha, his loveable partner? That made him think.

"Is there anything I can use to help me out here?" Both BB and Mangle shrug, neither knowing what to honestly expect on the next two floors. Jaune sighed before getting up, eating the last apple before heading up to the next floor, a serious look in his eyes.

The first thing Jaune noted was how damp the room was. The floor was covered in a thin layer of water, enough to certainly make some noise. He noted in the far corners of the room, there were piles of mechanical parts, like they were meant for something that could be built. Jaune then heard giggling and looked around, seeing the water in the centre of the room bubble, causing him to stop moving.

His eyes widened when another blonde rose from the water,only wearing a pair of pink jean shorts that showed plenty of her orange, chicken legs that had some fullness to it. Her body type was thin, like most models on his sister's magazines, her rather large chest covered by a tank top that said "Let's Party." Her hair was shoulder length, bright yellow in color but not damp like he would expect from someone rising from the floor. Her eyes creeped him out the most. Empty, lifeless eyes that contained white dots like Mangle, purple tear tracks down her face and a sharp toothed grin that promised pain.

"Is someone there~? " she spoke in a light yet seductive, Southern accent, sending a shiver down Jaune's back. He felt the urge to talk, to make his presence known before slapping a hand over his mouth, eyes widening as the faunus's head snapped towards the slight sound. He quietly creeped along the side, trying to keep the volume down as she slid across the floor. He reached the left corner, noting two things. The first is that there was indeed a part in the water, picking it up.

It was a bit rusty brown, looking like the top right half of a music box, a corner piece in fact. He quietly put it in his pocket before noticing Toy Chica sinking back into the shallow water, causing his eyes to widen. He took a calming breath before thinking, if she heard him covering his mouth, then she must be using her faunus hearing to hear him moving. This was confirmed when she rose to where he previously was, causing her to frown.

Jaune also realised that she couldn't hear him when she submerged into the water, which honestly confused him. He decided to stomp his foot about three metres away from where he was standing, causing her to snap her head so hard that it made a satisfying clicking noise. They took a short pause to take in before sank into the water. He quickly, yet steadily, reaching the other side of the room, keeping to the left side of the room as he checked the corner. There seemed to be another piece of the music box, the bottom left corner, which he quickly put away as Toy Chica rose, looking around in confusion.

"Where is that noise maker~? I just want to take him somewhere more… private~" Her eyes narrowed as she licked her lips, turning to look directly at Jaune, her eyes unblinking. "So I can eat them~" Jaune quickly picked up a hard nut that he took while outside before throwing it, hitting the top right corner of the room. Her head snapped to that corner as she walked over there. Her walking thankfully was loud enough to cover Jaune walking to the middle of the room, where he had noticed another piece of the music box, which was the music player and a crank to wind it up. He waited as Toy Chica picked up the nut, confused as she looked around. She shrugged before walking around, getting agitated before Jaune tossed a small rock to the far left of the room.

The duo moved in a sort of dance, Toy Chica slowly singing to keep her negative thinking mind at bay as Jaune moved to the top right corner, finding, ironically, The top left part of the music box. He quickly connected the four pieces and noted he was missing one piece, looking around and not noticing a shine anywhere in the bottom left area. He paused in surprise as something hit his head, causing him to catch the item. It was the bottom right piece of the music box, which made his skin pale more, as he had not gone to the part of the floor yet. He slowly turned and saw Toy Chica look at him with an unamused expression.

"Y-you could see me when underwater, couldn't you?" causing her to nod, making Jaune sigh and quickly attached the last of the music box and winding it up. Toy Chica had a soft smile before grinning and taking in a deep breath as Jaune let his hand let go of the handle. And not a moment too soon as Toy Chica let out a shockwave of sound, while he unintentionally focused his aura on the sound of the box, a clash of noise shaking the building as Jaune crept closer, seeing as Toy Chica kept her eyes closed.

The sounds ended as Jaune slammed the music box over the Chicken faunus's head, knocking her out and removing the influence from her. He sighed in relief as he lifted the slightly damp bird over a shoulder and made his way to the stairs he had noticed at the back of the room.

When Jaune made it to the safe room, He was given help by Mangle to put Toy Chica on a bed, which was covered in towels. He then mentioned how Toy Chica could move through water, even if said water reached his ankles, making BB look confused. He explained how Toy Chica's semblance was called Siren's Call, as it mimicked the legend itself. Jaune understood how dangerous they were, remembering a similar incident when he and the others went around the seas.

"Sorry for not telling you the name of the power Jaune." "It's okay BB." Mangle set a plate of some pizza and a cupcake down next to Jaune, who quickly ate it as he spied the next flight of stairs to the next room. He decided to rest first, conserve energy as BB pulled out a watch, eyes widening.

"It's already Three Twenty-Two pm?!" He yelled, stunning the other two people. Jaune had only got to the Emerald Forest around Ten in the morning, and had completed Mangle's floor at Twelve pm! Something was fishy and it was the water on the floor below. Jaune got up and went to the next floor, BB and Mangle exchanged worried looks.

The next floor, Jaune decided, was a mechanical marvel. Hunks of scrap metal littered the room, like the god of Forge, Hephestus, had thrown a fit and tossed his failed creations around the room. Sitting in the middle, head down, was a blue haired Rabbit faunus, he was wearing a white t-shirt hidden under a light blue jacket, wearing a pair of blue jeans and army boots. Jaune moved closer, keeping an eye out for any traps as the blue rabbit looked up, confirming that he wasn't there with empty black eyes and the repetitive purple marks.

That was all he got as Toy Bonnie lifted his hand, it glowing cyan as the metal began to float. Jaune watched as Toy Bonnie manipulated it all to spin and create, loud mechanical locking parts slamming together as a throne was made. A mechanical arm lowered down, right in front of his eyes, causing him to become confused and drop his guard. At this, the arm pulled out a spray can and fired it directly into his eyes, causing Jaune to scream as he was blinded. The arm grabbed Jaune's weapon and armour, a laugh echoing as it was joined by mechanical laughs and hisses.

Jaune quickly rubbed his eyes, hissing as it stung and he decided to keep his eyes closed and focused on his healing. Reaching down, he touched the floor looking for an item to use as a walking stick, grinning as he felt a long pipe of metal and grabbed it, frowning as he spun it and got accustomed to its weight. Nodding, he started to move slowly, listening as a beep was heard, him realising that Toy Bonnie must have been so arrogant in his corruption that he made every item create a beeping noise when someone approached the items.

As he walked, tapping his pipe after every third step, pausing if it gently tapped a steel wall. Frowning Jaune realised that he was doing another maze, before tapping the ground and sides, following the paths that didn't beep too much nor the deadends as it was getting tedious. He paused, hearing a chuckle from behind and swung the pipe of metal, hitting the person who laughed and resulting in an ouch and part of the room changing. This made Jaune grin, as Toy Bonnie was manipulating the room throughout the room meaning that he could potentially beat the rabbit and then escape the floor.

What followed was a repeat of Mangle, with Jaune wandering, avoiding traps and the random mechanical snake, and whacking Toy Bonnie with the pipe. There was close calls like the force mine that nearly knocked him into roof full of spikes or the turrets that shot rusted nails like a railgun, but the Arc managed to make it to the end of the maze, where a robot arm cleaned the dried up spray and squirted water in his blinked away both the water and the brightness as Toy Bonnie panted, having exhausted his aura as the maze fell apart, and collapsed. Jaune picked up his sword then lifted the rabbit faunus, who had a tail as well as ears, up to the next room.

As soon as Jaune noticed the clock, he nearly swore seeing that it was now seven in the evening. He must have gone through that maze pretty slowly as he placed Toy Bonnie down, and noticed that BB and Mangle had fallen asleep while Toy Chica was in a different position than when he left. Sighing, he decided to go up to the next area.

When he reached it, he noticed that it was unlike the others, as it was clean and filled with books. Sitting at a table and sipping some tea was a rather rotund brown bear faunus, a lighter shade than Freddy. He wore a casual brown t-shirt and slacks, held up by red suspenders and had one leg crossed over the other, showing brown shoes. In his gloved hands was a book called 'Arthur and the Black Knight' and he wore a top hat that had a red ribbon and a black bow tie. His bear ears twitched and looked up, surprising Jaune as he didn't see hostility in the eyes but a sparkling bright blue despite the purple tear marks.

"Well, I was not expecting a new individual to come to my floor." He spoke, his accent had a hint of a British tone to it, the bear faunus sipped his tea before gesturing to the empty chair "Come, come! Take a seat and rest your legs, Mr. Arc. I'm sure you have plenty of questions." at those words, Jaune walked across the room and sat on the blue leather chair, putting Crocea Mors and the pipe he had down and, rather reluctantly, picked up a cup of Earl Gray tea.

"Now, let me explain why I'm not attacking you, and introduce myself, seeing as I know your name." The bear faunus tipped his hat, a soft smile on his face "My name is Theodore Fazbear, but you may call me Toy Freddy,' He said before taking a sip of tea 'And I've certainly been waiting for someone to enter this tower. Although, you were not at the to pof the list."

Jaune nodded before rotating his left hand, a gesture for the kind bear to keep talking "As you could probably guess from the purple marks, I'm currently under the control of an old friend, who goes by the Marionette. He had started out as a polite boy but charisma is a powerful thing."

Toy Freddy then explained what he knew to Jaune. How he got here ("Originally, I believe I was in Mistral"), Why wasn't he under the control of the Marionette ("My semblance allows me to turn into a chimeric monster, so I know a thing about control") and why he was just waiting ("It is getting rather late and I doubt you want to stay here any longer.") before allowing Jaune to knock him out and go to the next area, which was another waiting room.

Jaune put Toy Freddy into one of the beds and took a nap, wanting some energy before the final floor.

And the winner of the longest page goes to this, with it being 5 pages. You could tell I was running out of ideas with Toy Bonnie's floor, huh?
