The four teens left the house after Yuya informed his mom, who seemed to have a lot of trust in him.
As Yuya led then to a remote spot in the park where they could duel, Yuzu and Yugo walked next to Yuya while Yuto walked a little behind looking through his deck.
"Yuya, are you sure you want to duel him?" Yuzu asked making sure he was positively sure.
"Yeah man, I can duel in your place if you want. I've almost beaten him before so I bet I could do it again." Yugo tried telling his look alike.
"Guys, I have to do this. I'm the one that challenged him and I think I'm the one that can get through to him the most. So please, trust me." Yuya said trying to ease the other two teen's worries as he stopped knowing they had gone far enough in the park.
"Alright bro, we are routing for ya'!" Yugo encouragingly said placing his hand in Yuya's shoulder before walking off to the side to spectate.
Before Yuzu walked away she kissed Yuya on the cheek causing him to blush and whispered, "I believe in you, make him smile, Yuya."
"I won't let you down." Yuya said nodding before she walked away.
"Yuya, are you ready?" Yuto said powering up his duel disk which had a round screen and a purple disk.
"You bet I am! After all, the fun has just begun!" Yuya said smiling while he activated his standard duel disk.

"I'll start. I set 4 cards facedown and end my turn!" Yuto said as the four cards materialized onto the field.
"Only face downs? Is he messing around?" Yugo asked.
"Well, this is his strategy. Just watch and you'll see what I mean." Yuzu explained to the Speedroid user.
"What? He didn't do that against me!" Yugo said to Yuzu's annoyance.
"Maybe it's because he didn't draw those cards! Now shut up! I'm trying to watch the duel." Yuzu said holding her fan up at Yugo who laughed nervously.
"All right, time for the show to begin! My turn! I summon Entermate Allcover Hippo!" Yuya summoned a dark brown version of his Discover Hippo onto the field.

"Wait...I lost to a guy who uses Hippos?!" Yugo realized in anger.
"Shut up! Don't make fun of Yuya or his dueling!" Yuzu said slapping the blue and yellow haired boy with her fan.
"Next is my hippo's effect! He lets me special summon a new Entermate to join the show! Come on out my Entermate Springoose!" Yuya summoned as a yellow goose monster with a suit and to hat appeared.

"Alright now time for my monsters to do some damage! Battle! Allcover Hippo! Springoose! Attack Yuto directly!" Both monsters charged at Yuto.
"I activate the quick play spell Emergency Provisions! I destroy all my other set cards to gain 1000 life for each card! But then the effect of the 3 Phantom Knights Shadow Veil copies sent to the graveyard activates. When my opponent declares a direct attack, I can summon them to the field as monsters!" Yuto shouted as three ghost like soldiers riding horses appeared guarding Yuto as his life points increased.

"You were right! What a move!" Yugo said shocked at Yuto's massive life boost.
"Wow...well an entertainer like my self can't stop when things don't go my way! I'll now attack two of your Shadow Veil's with my monsters!" Yuya said as his two monsters charged through two of the Spell-monsters.
"He doesn't have enough monsters to Xyz summon now..." Yuzu noticed which was good for Yuya.
"Now, I'll play Allcover Hippo's other effect! All my monsters switch to defense position!" Yuya said smiling as both his monsters switched.

"I set 2 cards face down and end my move. Now Yuto, entertain our crowd!" Yuya said winking while pointing at Yuzu and Yugo which made the two swear drop.
But, Yuto didn't seem so "excited". He just looked down at his duel disk and drew. "My turn. I summon Phantom Knights Fragile Armor that I drew."

"It's coming." Yuzu worryingly said.
"Bring it on!" Yuya said confidently.
"I overlay my level 4 Shadow Veil and Fragile Armor! With these two monsters I build the overlay network!" Yuto said as both turned into purple overlay units.
"His dragon!" Yugo realizing what Yuto was doing.
"Spirit cursed by darkness, rise from the abyss and serve as a warrior of the shadows! Xyz summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Phantom Knights Corrupted Scythe!" Yuto yelled as he summoned a ghost-knight monster with a blue spirit inside broken armor similar to most of the archetype. This monster also had a cloak like a reaper and a scythe as large as his body.

"He didn't summon the dragon?!" Yugo and Yuzu both said in unison.
"That's a creepily cool monster Yuto! Are you pulling new tricks for the show?" Yuya said smiling.
"Well, this monster was more suited for the situation. I'll show you exactly why! I activate my monsters effect! By using an overlay unit, I can target one monster in defense position on my opponents field and switch it to attack mode. Then, that monster loses attack equal to half of it's defense." Yuto explained as Springoose was turned back to attack mode and since it's defense was 2400, it lost 1200 attack making its attack 0.

"Oh no!" Yuya said looking at his goose monster.
"Battle! Corrupted Scythe attacks! Reaping Slash!" Yuto commanded his monster as it charged at the goose monster slashing through it!"
"Tsk...trap activate! Damage Draw! I negate damage and draw a card!" Yuya said drawing.
"Nice trap. My turns done." Yuto said as his monster returned back to its side.
"Alright! My turn! Time for the second act of the show! Watch ladies and gents as I activate Allcover Hippo's effect once again which mean's I can call forth Entermate Hammer Mammoth!" Yuya said summoning a blue mammoth monster with a hammer at the end of it's trunk.

"He's strong enough to take on Yuto's monster!" Yugo said.
"Next I switch my hippo into attack position! Battle! Hammer Mammoth! Attack Corrupted Scythe!" Yuya said as his monster jumped up in the air and crashed down on the Xyz monster with it's hammer. "Then I attack directly with Allcover Hippo!" Yuya shouted as his monster rammed Yuto knocking him back but he stayed on his feet as he slides across the ground.

"Nice one Yuya!" Yuzu cheered.
"To close off this act I activate Allcover hippo's effect to switch my monsters into defense mode! Turn end!" Yuya said bowing.
"My turn. At this moment! I activate the effect of Phantom Knights Fragile Armor in my grave! I banish it and discard a Phantom Knights card to draw a card." Yuto said discarding Phantom Knights Wrond Magnering to draw.
'A Pendulum card...this won't help' Yuto thought to himself seeing the card he drew. " I also activate the effect of my Corrupted Scythe that you destroyed which resides in the grave! The turn after it's destruction, I can banish it to draw 2 cards! Also, I can switch the battle position of the defense position monster with the highest rank or level" Yuto said drawing again as Hanmer Mammoth went into attack mode once again.
"Now I Summon Phantom Knights Ragged Gloves! Then I activate the effect of my Phantom Knights Silent Boots which lets me special summon it! Now I overlay these two monsters! Soul of the Knights who fall on the battlefield. Now revive, become the light that rend the darkness! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 3! Phantom Knights Break Sword!" Yuto chanted as his signature Phantom Knights monster appeared. "Ragged gloves effect! Break Sword gains 1000 attack until the end of the turn!"

"It's stronger than that poor mammoth..." Yugo said saddend for the soon to be destroyed mammoth.
"I thought you didn't like Yuya's Entermates?" Yuzu asked Yugo.
"Nah. They are awesome in action!" Yugo said as Yuzu sweatdropped.
"Battle! Break Sword attack!" Yuto shouted as his monster sword glowed and charged at the mammoth destroying it and the shock wave knocking Yuya back but he stayed in his feet.

"Alright my turn! Draw! It's time to show you the star of the Enternate show! First I activate the effect of my Allcover Hippo! I now special summom Entermate Sleight Hand Magician!" Yuya said as the new entermate monster appeared on his field. It was a magician clad in red and yellow and the bottom half of the magician was a blue crystal similar to Yuya's own pendant.

"I haven't seen that monster since we were kids!" Yuzu said shocked at the monster's appearance.
"This card reminds me a lot of my father Yusho Sakaki, that's why I stopped using him. But now, I've learned to embrace my fathers legacy and that includes this guy!" Yuya said as Yugo was a bit confused and Yuzu just looked proud.
"So Yuya really is strong without his pendulum monsters..." Yugo said feeling bad about what he said to Yuya earlier.
'Yusho...where have I heard that name before...' Yuto thought to himself realizing that he has heard this name before he just can't put his finger on exactly where or why.
"Alright! First I switch Hippo back to attack mode! Now let's battle! I attack Break Sword with Sleight Hand Magician! Magical Impact!" Yuya said as Sleight Hand Magician's pointed it's rod at the Xyz monster and a blue blast shot out and incinerated the Knight and the shock wave knocked Yuto who still remained standing.

"Break Swords effect! I summon Silent Boots and Ragged Gloves as level four monsters!" Yuto said as the spirit of Break Sword split into the two monsters.

"As expected! But this is all apart of my act! I now attack Ragged Gloves with Allcover Hippo!" Yuya commanded as his hippo rushed through the monster destroying it.
"Next, I activate the effect of my Entermate Sleight Hand Magician! By discarding a card from my hand I destroy a face up card on the field! I now destroy Silent Boots!" Yuya said smiling as his monster's crystal at the end of it's rod glowed and shot the monster points the rod up into the sky shooting a blue light into the air which then shot down at Yuto's remaining monster like rain and destroyed the monster.
"What a pretty light show." Yuzu said looking at the mini rain shower of energy as it faded away.
"And finally I'll end my turn with the spell card Entermate trade in! I send the face up Allcover Hippo back to the deck and then I add a Pendulum monster with the same level to my hand! Turn end!" Yuya concluded with a smirk.
"Your tough, Yuya. I admit, you are strong. But my Phantom Knights always have my back. My turn!" Yuto shouted looking like he has a bit more fun but still not as much as Yuya thinks he should be having. "I activate my Pot of Darkness! I banish 2 dark monsters from my grave to draw 2 cards!" Yuto said drawing 2 cards as his previous level 3 monsters from his graveyard were banished. He saw that he drew a Trap monster...and another Pendulum Card.
'Another Pendulum card...but I don't have any monsters in my hand to use them with...but wait!' Yuto said realizing the ability of the Pendulum card he drew.
"So Yuto...you gonna show us your performance!" Yuya asked winking at his look alike.
"Sorry Yuya but I'm gonna have steal your performance with one of your own moves." Yuto said smirking at the tomato hair boy.
"Do you mean your..." Yuya said realizing what he was going to do.
"I, using the Scale 1 Phantom Knights Forgotten Dagger and Scale 6 Phantom Knights Lost Utilities, set the Pendulum Scale! Pendulum of the fallen! Draw an arc across the battlefield and call forth the souls of rebellion! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! My undying comrades! Two copies of the Level 2, Phantom Knights Lost Vambrace!" Yuto shouted as his two newest pendulum cards summoned...trap monsters?

"Wait...I'm still new to this whole Pendulum Summon thing, but isn't that illegal?" Yugo asked Yuzu who didn't know how to answer the question.
"Thanks to my Phantom Knights Forgotten Dagger, I can Pendulum Summon Phantom Knights trap monsters from my hand or graveyard as long as there level is inbetween the scale and both cards in my pendulum scale are Phantom Knights. They are treated as monsters. Not only that, when they leave the field, even if detached as Xyz material or destroyed while attached to an Xyz monster, they are banished. I can also summon Spell monsters the same way with the effect of Phantom Knights Lost Utilites." Yuto explained to the others.
"So cool..." Yuya said having no idea Pendulum summoning could be extended this far. "Wait this should have a name! Ummm"
"What about 'Phantom Pendulum' eh?" Yuzu yelled to the boys who both liked the sound of it.
"Next is Phantom Knights Lost Utiliies pendulum effect! When a Phantom Knights monster or monsters is Pendulum Summoned I can draw a card. Now I overlay my two level 2 Lost Vambrances! Yuto chanted as the warrior with a spear and skull for a head was summoned.

Yuri shouted while his monster shot lightning from its lance and shocked Sleight Hand and all it's attack.

"Battle! Cursed Javelin attack his magician!" Yuto commanded his monster as it shot electricity from the top of the spear destroying it and knocking Yuya who still manage to stay on his feet but barely as he kneeled down.

I, using the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale! Pendulum of souls. Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear Now! My monster! From my hand, Level 7! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya said as the red energy appeared from the Pendulum Portal and Yuya's dichromatic dragon appeared roaring.

"What a dragon..." Yugo said as he felt something in his heart. Something small...unlike before. Yuto also felt it to. But it was so small that they barely noticed.
"Ok! Now that the stage is set it's time for action! But first I'll have to activate my trap card known Performance Alliance! This card activates by letting me banish the two non pendulum Entermates in my grave to negate the effects of all cards on my opponents field! Not only that but a monster on my opponents field loses attack equal to the combined level of the destroyed monster times 100. I banished Sleight Hand and Hammer Mammoth! So your monster loses 1300 attack!" Yuya explains as three shots of light shot out of the trap card and hit Yuto's pendulum cards and his monster.

"Amazing! Get'em Yuya!" Yugo screamed in excitement.
"Battle Odd Eyes! Attack Cursed Javelin! Spiral Strike Burst!" Yuya commanded his dragon as hit shot a fiery blast at the Xyz monster.
"I activate the effect of Phantom Knights Shattered Shield in my hand! When I would receive damage from a battle with a Phantom Knights monster I can negate that damage and summon this card!"

"Your wrong. The next one of your miracle acts is if you can survive this turn. Draw! I activate the second effect of broken shield. I tribute it to return two Phantom Knight cards from the banish zone to the grave. Now using the already set pendulum scale I Pendulum Summon! Come forth, My undying comrades! Two Level 4 Phantom Knights Shadow Veil! Now I draw a card through my Lost Utilities effect! I'm ending this duel! I overlay my two level 4 Shadow Veils! From the pitch-black darkness. Rise up against the foolish oppression, Fang of Rebellion! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"

Both Yugo and Yuya felt something in their hearts again. But the excitement in their duel kept them from thinking about it.
"Here it is..." Yuzu said. Seeing the dragon once more was kind of scary for her since she has only seen in once in his duel with Sawatari who was obliterated by the dragon.
"I get to draw again! I use both of my dragons overlay units to half your monster's attack twice and my monster gains the lost amount! Treason Discharge!" Yuto yelled as the electricity went through the the dragons wings and extrended out to the red dragon binding it and weakening its attack while increasing Dark Rebellion's.

"Battle! Dark Rebellion, Attack Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Rebellious Lightning Disobey!" Yuto commanded while the black dragon flies at Odd Eyes destroying it with it's purple eletric fangs creating an explosion.
"Yuya!" Yugo and Yuzu yelled while Yoko remained silent having confidence in her boy.
When the dust remained, Yuya was covered in a bubble which soon popped. "Did you really think it would be that easy? I sent Enternate Balloon Tapir from my hand to the grave so negate the battle damage I would've taken!" Yuya explained.
"As expected. I end my turn." Yuto said as his dragon returned to his side after the attack.
"Alright! My turn! I activate the effect of my Enternate Springoose in my graveyard! I can banish it to return my Pendulum Scale to my Hand! Now for my next act, I, using the Scale 4 Enternate Trump Witch, and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale! With this I can summon monsters from level 5 to 7! Swing Pendulum of souls. Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear Now! My monsters! From my hand, Level 5! Stargazer Magician! And returning from the extra deck, Level 7! Odd Eyes Pendulum!" Yuya summoned his ace dragon along with the Magician clad in white with a staff.

"Fusion...?!" Yuto utters thinking about all the lives lost in heartland.
"Wielder of mysterious powers, become the bright light in the eyes of the dragon! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Arcane dragon wielder of ancient magic! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya chanted as his first fusion dragon appeared.

"Nice Pendulum Fusion Yuya!" Yuzu cheered. But Yuzu looked worried while she saw the distress in Yuto.
"..." Though Yuto had said he was ok with fusion users he still didn't seem ok with fusion monsters. Before Sora, he hadn't even faced any fusion monsters since...heartland. The heartland that was destroyed by...fusion. As these thoughts ran through his head he tried his best to shake them off. 'No, Fusion summoning didn't destroy my home. It was academia. But, THEY used fusion...' he thought to himself. 'I understand using them to fight against academia...but how he uses them...for entertainment...' Yuto couldn't grasp using a summoning method that destroyed so many lives for anything other than revenge or self defense. But for making people smile, even though Fusion was used to do the opposite by Academia. 'No this isn't the tim-'
"Battle! Rune-Eyes Attack! Unending Shiny Burst!" Yuya commanded as the light of the attack got closer.
"...I activate the effect of Lost Dagger! Once per turn, a rank 4 or lower DARK Xyz monster cannot be destroyed by battle if I banish a card in my hand." Yuto said as a barrier formed around his ace.
"But you still take the damage!" Yuya said as the shockwaves from the attack knocked Yuto back a few feet.

"My performance isn't done yet! The attacks Rune-Eyes can make depends on the magician type fusion material! Since Stargazer is a level 5 monster, my dragon can attack 3 times! Go Rune-Eyes! Unending Shiny Burst!" Yuya yelled as the dragon fired another blue blast from the over grown ring on its back.
Though Dark Rebellion tried to fight though the blast, Yuto watched in horror as his favorite monster was destroyed by a fusion monster.

"Now, Rune-Eyes attack Yuto directly! Shiny Burst!" Yuya commanded. His dragon shot another blue blast from it's ring in the dragon's back. Yuto was hit dead on knocking him off his feet.

He hit the ground hard and didn't get up right away.
"Yuto! Are you Ok?! Maybe we should stop." Yuya said running over to the boy.
"NO! I'm fine..." Yuto said getting up.
"Are you sure?" Yuya asked.
"It's just...your monster...fusion..." Yuto said getting more angry.
"Yuto...fusion isn't bad. Fusion is just like Synchro and Xyz. It's just a summoning method. A method that I proudly use to bring smiles through dueling!" Yuya said.
"But bringing smile with monsters...monsters that caused destruction!" Yuto argued back.
"Fusion didn't bring destruction. Academia did. You said it yourself." Yuya said back.
The only time he's ever faced fusion is against academia. This was his first time battling against a non vicious fusion monster. Maybe Yuya was right...maybe.
"I don't know. But I don't want you to hold back." Yuto said.
"Good. I end my turn." Yuya stated.
"My turn. I-I set a card face down. Turn end." Yuto said.
"My turn! I activate Pendulum Draw since I have two level 5 or higher face up pendulums in my extra deck, I draw two cards! And then I pendulum summon! Appear now my monsters! From the extra deck, Level 7, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Level 5,Stargazer Magician! Battle! Runs-Eyes Pendulum Dragon Direct Attack!" Yuya commanded as the dragon once more shot out a blue blast at Yuya.
"I activate my quick play spell Phantom Knights Around Burn! By banishing two phantom knights from my graveyard I can destroy all monsters on our field and end the battle phase. Then the players take 800 damage equal times the amount of monsters destroyed!" Yuto said as all of Yuya's monsters were destroyed.
"I activate the effect of Enternate Rain Goat from my hand to the grave to negate the damage!" Yuya said as the monster made a shield with it's body protecting Yuya.
"He would've lost the duel if he took that damage." Yugo stated.
"Yuya..." Yuzu said in worry.
"I set one card facedown and end my turn."
"My turn! I activate the equip spell card Xyz Revival! This revives Dark Rebellion and this card equips itself onto the revived monster." Yuto explained as his ace reappeared onto the field.
"No way!" Yuya said in worry.
"Battle Dark Rebellion direct attack! Rebellious Lightning Disobey!" Yuto commanded as his dragon charged at Yuya.
"I'm not done yet! Trap activate! Pendulum Reborn! This lets me revived Odd Eyes from my extra deck!" Yuya said as his ace monster appeared in front of him.
'Damn it. There is no point of going for mutual destruction since he can just revive. "I end my turn." Yuto concluded.
"My turn! I pendulum summon! Appear now once more my monsters! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Next is the spell Magical Bind! I send a Magician Card from my face up extra deck to the grave to negate one spell or trap on the field until the end of the turn. I choose a Forgotten Dagger! And since the magician was level 5 or higher, I draw a card! And since the negated was card was a card in my opponents pendulum scale, I draw again!" Yuya said as a seal formed around the pendulum zone and he drew.
"Now Yuto can't defend!" Yuzu realized.
"Now I normal summon Entermate Silver Claw! Now it's time for a fusion Summon with Trump Witch's effect!"
"Again?!" Yuto thought in distress.
"I fuse my Odd Eyes and Silver Claw! Prideful Silver Wolf! Become one with the mysterious dragon to create a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! The ferocious dragon with luminous feral eyes! Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya chanted as his second fusion dragon appeared.

"Nice Yuya!" Yugo cheered. Seeing the cool looking fusion monster.
"Yuto..." Yuzu uttered seeing how conflicted the dragons were making Yuto feel.
"Hey Yuzu, does that dragon have a powerful effect like the other dragon?" Yugo asked.

"Battle! Beast-Eyes Attack! Hell Dive Burst!" Yuya commanded as the dragon jumped up and shot a fiery blast at the black dragon.
Yuto's dragon roared and looked back at him. Yuto looked into the eye's of his ace as the blast was getting closer. He knew he couldn't let it be destroyed by a fusion monster. Not again.
"I...activate the effect of Phantom Knights Abyss Guardian from my hand! This card summons itself whenever a DARK Xyz monster would be destroyed by sending a card from my hand to the grave. I can summon it to negate the attack!" Yuto countered as a phantom armored warrior as tall as Dark Rebellion materialized with a huge ghostly shield and blocked the attack with his shield.

"Not to mention this card is also a Pendulum Monster." Yuto said knowing he would never have a level 7 monster in his deck but he wasn't complaining.
"Amazing! Nice counter Yuto!" Yugo shouted getting an angry stare from Yuzu.
"Who's side are you on?!" Yuzu shouted making the Speedroid User afraid.
"Your amazing Yuto. I end my turn with a facedown!" Yuya said concluding his turn.

"My turn! I activate the spell Phantom Knights Possesion! I now treat Dark Rebellion as the same level as Abyss Guardian! I now my level 7 Dark Rebellion and Abyss Guardian!" Yuto said as the two monsters turned into dark energy.
"Yuto's Pendulum Xyz monster is coming..." Yugo said worried.
"C'mon Yuya, survive!" Yuzu encouraginly yelled while Yuya gulped feeling the presence of the dragon.
"Fang of Rebellion, descend from the purified darkness and destroy those who oppose your order! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 7! Dark Anthelion Dragon!" Yuto commanded as the Pendulum form of Dark Rebellion appeared.

Yuya gulped seeing the impressive sized dragon while Yuzu was amazed at the dragon. Yugo was scared having bad memories of the dragon.
"Hey! Dark Anthelion! I helped create you so shouldn't you be helping me out too?" Yuya said to the dragon joking around trying to ease the pressure.
"This dragon will bring me victory! I activate his effect! Once per turn, I cut your dragon's attack in half and add it to my monster's attack! I also gain life points equal to the amount lost! Absorb Eclipse!" Yuto shouted as he glowed in green aura being healed and Dark Anthelions bright lightening lowered itself up.

"Battle! Dark Anthelion attack that dragon! Destruction Dawn Break!" Yuto commands as his dragon dives down at the dragon with powerful purple lightning surrounding the dragon.
"Yuya!" Yuzu screamed.
"I activate my trap Last Minute Cancel! I change Beast-Eyes to defense mode and take no damage! The show isn't over yet!" Yuya said as his dragon was destroyed.
"Yet. It will be soon though, turn end." Yuto said.
'I can't screw this up. Yuzu and Yugo are counting on me to win. I have to win!' Yuya thought strengthening his resolve. As Yuya's determination became greater, he had a vision of a dragon similar to Odd Eyes but had green scales and four thin wings. "Alright! It's time for me to call out a new star for this act! First I'll activage Magicians Bind's effect in my grave, besides the turn of it's activation, if I have no monsters on my field I can banish this card to special summon a Pendulum Magician monster from my grave in attack mode with 0 attack and it's effects negated by sending Silver Claw in my extra deck to the grave! But it's banished if it leaves the field! Come back, Stargazer Magician!" Yuya explained summoning the white magician.

"Next I Pendulum Summon! Appear Now! From the extra deck! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as the dragons reappeared.
"But what's he going to do? Destroy both of their dragons? But Stargazer can't deal damage?" Yugo said comfused.
"Now time for the newest star of the show! I activate Trump Witches Effect to fusion Summon once more!" Yuya said which surprised everyone.
"Not again..." Yuto said worried.
"Again?! Amazing!" Yugo cheared.
"What? Yuya only had two Fusion dragons...does that mean..." Yuzu trailed off.
"Dragon with dual colored eyes, become one with the observer of the stars and become the most powerful storm! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! The dragon of the raging winds, Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon!" Yuya chanted as the green Odd Eyes Fusion Dragon appeared.

"He created another dragon..." Yuzu said shocked.
"Absolute Dragon, now Vortex Dragon, amazing!" Yugo exclaimed at the sight of Yuya's new dragon.
"Another fusion monster...why are you so persistent on fighting me with fusion, Yuya?" Yuto asked with a cold glare.
"Because I want to show you that fusion monsters aren't that bad! Fusion is the first summoning method I learned besides Pendulum and it has taken me so far. I wouldn't have been in the Miami Championship if it wasn't for Fusion." Yuya explained.
"Yuya I...I don't need to be forced to like Fusion." Yuto said coldly.
"I'm not forcing you to like anything. I'm just trying to help you ease your confliction." Yuya said which made Yuto even angrier.
"I'm not mad! And I'm not conflicted!" Yuto yelled at his opponent.
"Yuto, I know that facing fusion is hard for you. But if you accept Fusion, wouldn't it be easier for you to fight against Fusion?" Yuya questioned. Yuto didn't know what to say. He thought to himself questioning if what Yuya said was right.
"I never thought of it that way...just carry out your turn." Yuto said.
"Now it's time for this act to rap up! When Vortex is summoned to the field, I can target one monster in Attack mode on my opponents field and return it to their hand!" Yuya shouted as the dragon flapped it's wings creating a green gust of wind which was about to hit Yuto's dragon.
"My dragon isn't leaving without using it's ability to weaken your dragon and for me to gain life points first before being sent back to the extra deck!" Yuto explained while his dragon absorbed an overlay unit and shot electricity at the dragon.

After a struggle Dark Anthelion was blown away into the extra deck.
"Now Yuto's field is open!" Yugo shouted excited.
"Go Yuya!" Yuya cheered.
"Next is the spell card Odd Eyes Return! I special summon one Odd Eyes Monster that left the field this turn with it's effects negated and it's destroyed in the end phase! Come forth Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya commanded as his ace dragon re-emerged.

"Battle! Both of my monsters attack Directly together! Double Spiral Wind Strike Burst!" Yuya commanded combining the two attacks into one which created a spectacular sight of a red and green blast hitting Yuto directly and knocking him off he ground and landing hard in his back.

"Just a little more Yuya!" Yuzu and Yugo both yelled.
"The Odd Eyes Performance isn't completely over yet!" Yuya said raising his arms in the air.
"Wait two level 7s..." Yugo trailed off.
"Lets Go! I Overlay my Level 7 Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon and Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Frozen dragon with dual colored eyes, be reborn in the depths of the artic and freeze our enemies! Xyz Summon! Come Forth! Rank 7! Frozen dragon of Revival! Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon!" The blue dragon appeared onto the field.

"So this is Yuya's Xyz..." Yuzu said since it was the first time she saw the dragon.
"Turn end. So Yuto, did you like my Odd Eyes performance?" Yuya asked smiling to the boy who looked alittle troubled from his collision with the ground during the last attack.
"Yuya, you are strong. Extremely strong, but this is the end! My turn! Draw! First is the spell card monster Reborn! Come back to me, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his ace monster returned.
"His connection is strong with that dragon." Yuzu says. Through his dueling, it is pretty obvious that his dragon is his ace, just like how Yuya's is Odd Eyes.
"Just like me and Clear Wing..." Yugo responded.
"Yuto! Your dragon is little lacking in attack points!" Yuya reminded his look alike who was smirking.
"Not for long! I activate the spell card Phantom Knights Burning Resolve! When I have 1000 or less life points and my opponent has 2000 or more, I can banish my Break Sword and my Cursed Javelin so my Rank 4 Dark Rebellion gains attack equal to their combined rank time 300 and can attack equal to the amount of cards banished!" Yuto exclaimed as the souls of the former Xyz monsters were absorbed by the dragon as it roared.
Dark Rebellion (2500/2000)-(4000/2000)
"His monster is stronger than Yuya's!" Yuzu said scared for him.
"Battle! Dark Rebellion attack! Rebellious Lightning Disobey!" Yuto exclaimed as the black dragon charged at the other Xyz monster.
"I use of Absolute's Overlay Units to negate the attack! Then I can special summon Odd Eyes Vortex dragon to the field!" Yuya countered summoning the green dragon is defense mode.
"Then attack again, Dark Rebellion!" Yuto yelled again.
"I use another overlay unit! Come back, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya countered once more summoning his ace in defense mode.
"Nice, but you won't be able to destroy my monster next turn since it's attack change lasts until the end of the next turn. Turn end." Yuto explained.
"My turn!" Yuya drew realizing he couldn't do anything. "Tch,your dragon's attack boost has prevented me from doing anything this turn so I'll set a card and end my turn!"
"At this moment Burning Resolution's boost ends." Yuto said as his dragon's aura was no longer visible.
"Yuya's got the better field now!" Yugo cheered for the Odd Eyes duelist but Yuzu wasn't as positive. Sure she hoped Yuya would win but she has seen Yuya come back from impossible situations all the time but she was concerned Yuto would do the same thing against him.
"My turn. Yuya, I'm sorry but I'm ending this! I activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knights Launch! This spell Ranks up Dark Rebellion one rank higher to show his true evolved form!" Yuto yelled as his monster turned into dark energy going into the overlay network.
After being covered in dark glass the dragon broke through and reappeared as a purple and black dragon similar to the previous with more white amour and also had stained glass on it's wings making it look very majestic but also terrifying.
"From the depth of Purgatory! Dedicate to the Restless Soul with the Song of Revolution! Echo for eternity, and appear! Rank-Up, Xyz Change! Come forth, Rank 5! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon!" Yuto chanted as the original evolved version of his ace appeared.
Dark Requiem (3000/2500) RNK:5 OVU:2
"That dragon...amazing!" Yuya uttered in awe.
"That dragon reminds me a lot about my crystal wing." Yugo admits.
"That dragon..." Yuzu says also shocked at the dragons presence.
"I activate the effect of my dragon! I can reduce a level 5 or higher monster's attack to 0 and increase my dragons attack by that monsters original attack! Requiest Salvation!" Yuto declared targeting Vortex Dragon.
"No way!" Yuya said in horror.

"Holy crap! That dragon is powerful! Good thing his fusion dragon is in defense mode." Yugo said but Yuzu still looked worried.
"Yeah but if he attacks Absolute Dragon while it had no overlay units, Yuya will 2700 points of damage and he only has 2000 life points left!" Yuzu said in horror which also made Yugo dream out.
"Oh no! Don't give up Yuya!" Yugo yelled trying to encourage the worried duelist.
"Try to survive this! Battle! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon attack Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon! Requiscent Disaster Disobey!" Yuto yelled as his dragon flew up into the sky and spread it's wings gathering energy into its fang and charging down at the blue dragon.
"I won't lose! Trap activate, Odd Eyes Cross! Now, I can tribute one Odd Eyes monster originally from the extra deck and I can target another Odd Eyes monster in my field and have it gain half of the original attack of the tributed monster! Also, it can't be destroyed by battle this turn! Gahh!" Yuya said as he was knocked off his feet from the attack and hit the ground hard.

"Yuya, I'm surprised you've made it this far. I'll set one card face down and end my turn." Yuto concludes while both boy's dragons attack points returned to normal. He wouldn't admit it, but this actually was the most fun he's had since before the invasion even though Yuya was using fusion. But his stone expression didn't reveal that.
"Thank god..." Yuzu said releaved.
'This isn't looking good. Yuto has Dark Requiem, and a face down along with his pendulum scale. While I have my dragons that are weaker than his dragons. I have to bet everything on this draw...' Yuya thought to himself raising his confidence. "My turn! Draw!" Yuya said.
There was a moment of pause before Yuya looked at the card he drew. Yuzu had her hands together praying and Yugo was biting his nails.
"Alright I activate Pendulum Reload! I add my Pendulum
Scale back to my hand and draw two cards! But the cards returned to the hand can't be set back into the Pendulum zone this turn. Next is the spell card Entermate Recasting! I send Entermate Trump Witch back to the deck and draw two cards! Now I, using the Scale 3 Xiangke Magician set the pendulum scale!" Yuya said as the blue magician rose in the pendulum zone.

"Wait isn't that the magician that..." Yuzu trailed off.
"Next I activate the effect of Xiangke magician! Magician of Destruction who watches over contrast! Unite the stars under your sharp judgement! Xiangke's Pendulum effect lets one Xyz monster gain level equal to it's rank!" Yuya shouted as a blue light hit Absolute Dragon.
Absolute Dragon RNK:7-LVL:7
"It's coming..." Yuto said nervous.
"But I'm not done! I activate the spell card Big Return! This card lets me use my magicians effect once more! I now choose your Dark Requiem!" Yuya said pointing at the dark dragon.
Dark Requiem RNK:5-LVL:5
"What?" The other three yelled shocked.
"I overlay the Level 7 Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon and Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Dragon of dual colored eyes, Unleash your black scale of rath and eradicate all opposing enemies! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 7! Dragon with eyes glowing with anger! The Supreme King Black Dragon - Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon!" Yuya shouted summoning the Pendulum Xyz monster dragon which was a hybrid of Yuya and Yuto's ace monsters. Yuya could feel the dragon's pressure and shuttered grabbing his heart but maintained his composure.
"T-T-T-That Drag-g-gon...!" Yugo shuttered in fear remembering the way Yuya frighteningly destroyed Yugo's dragon in their last duel.
"I can feel the energy coming off that dragon...it's so intense..." Yuto uttered.
"So that's Yuya's Pendulum Xyz Dragon..." Yuzu said.
"Let's go! When Odd Eyes Rebbelion is summoned to the field It can destroy all level 7 or lower monsters on my opponent's field and deal damage equal to their attack! Overlord Howling!" Yuya commanded
"As if I would let you! I activate Dark Requiem's other effect! By detaching an overlay unit I can negate an effect that would destroy it and then-!" Yuto countered before being cut off mid sentence.
"I knew you would do something like that! That's why I am activate the quick play spell Odd Eyes Counter! When a monster activates the effect of a card in response of the effect of an Odd Eyes monster, I can negate that effect and increase the attack of an Odd Eyes monster by 500!" Yuya yelled as the spell card shot a red beam at Yuto's dragon paralyzing it and Yuya's dragon roared as it's power increased.
Rebellion Dragon (3000/2500)-(3500/2500)
"No way!" Yuto yelled in horror.
"Go Yuya!" Yugo cheered pumping his fist in the air.
Yuzu was in disbelief. Yuya, her childhood crush, who cared more about getting the crowd to smile no matter what even if it meant making himself look like an idiot, could not only use Xyz and Fusion, but invented a new summoning method and had a hybrid Pendulum Xyz monster. He was even dueling a duelist from a different dimension and winning. He truly had gotten so much stronger that he surpassed her by a long shot.
"Now Odd Eyes Rebellion's effect will continue! Overlord Howling!" Yuya shouted as the dragon roar created dark energy that destroyed the other Xyz dragon which made Yuto panic.
"I banish Shattered Shield from the grave to negate the effect damage!" Yuto countered while the ghost of his monster appeared infront of him protecting him from the damage. "Then I'll activate the trap card Xyz Rebound! I can banish the destroyed monster to summon a monster one rank lower and that monster gains attack equal to the rank of the banished monster time 100. Come back to me, Dark Rebellion!"
Dark Rebellion (2500/2000)-(3000/2000)
"It's back again..." Yugo said amazed at the fact that he grouchy his dragon back again.
"Yeah but Yuto only has 500 life points and if this attack connects Yuya will win!" Yuzu realized.
"Battle! This is the final act Yuto! So let's make it flashy! Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon! Attack Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon! Rebellious Rath Strike Disobey!" Yuya shouted while his dragon flew up in the air and dived towards the ground gathering momentum with lightening in it's fangs before charging directly at Yuto and his dragon.
"Go! Dark Rebellion! Rebellious Lightning Disobey!" Yuto said as his dragon didn't back down and charged at the more powerful dragon with it's own attack.
The two dragons collided with a big explosion of purple electricity which result in Yuto being knocked back from the force of the brawl.
"Yuya did it! He won!" Yugo cheered jumping up.
"Yuya did it." Yuzu said smiling at the boy who was also looked happy.
"I did it..." Yuya said looking at Yuzu smiling.
"It's not over yet."
The three other teens looked in shock as the smoke cleared and there Yuto was, still standing. And so was his dragon.
YUTO: 500-250
"How?!" Yuya yelled in disbelief.
"The monster summoned by Xyz Rebound cannot be destroyed by battle and any battle damage is halved the turn it is summoned." Yuto explained still retaining a blank expression as his dragon flew next him.
"Well then the performance isn't over, I'll end my turn." Yuya concluded being a little disappointed for not pulling off the finale.
Yuto silently drew looking at his card before speaking, "Yuya, despite your bizarre style, you are an excellent duelist. But, this duel is over. I activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knights Rise! This spell card now ranks up my dragon 3 ranks higher by banishing 3 Phantom Knights cards in my grave!" Yuto explained which shocked Yuya, Yugo, and Yuzu.
"Fang of Rebellion, descend from the purified darkness and destroy those who oppose your order! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 7! Dark Anthelion Dragon!" Yuto chanted summoning the Pendulum Xyz Dragon for the second time in the duel.

"No way..." Yuya uttered in horror seeing the dragon again.
"It can't be..." Yugo said in disbelief.
"I activate the effect of Dark Anthelion! Now by using one overlay unit your monster's attack is halfed while my dragon's attack increases and my life points increase by the same amount! Absorb Eclipse!"

"Oh no...Yuya..." Yuzu choked in horror.
"Battle! Dark Anthelion Dragon, attack Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon and end this duel! Dark Dawn Break!" Yuto commanded while his dragon flew up in the night sky and charged down with it's purple lightening through the opposing Dragon with it's fangs causing a great explosion.
"GAAAAHHHH!" Yuya screamed being thrown back spinning in the air before landing on the ground hard.
YUYA: 550-0 LP

"YUYA!" Yuzu screamed running over to the fallen boy who had managed to sit up a little bit.
"Yuzu...sorry I let you down." Yuya said before being helped up by the girl.
"Hey Yuto! You could have hurt Yuya!" Yuto said getting in front of his look alike who just looked at him and walked past him towards Yuya. Seeing the look in Yuto's eye, Yugo didn't try to stop him.
"Don't worry Yuya. You were amazing. Everything's going to be ok. I'm just glad your not hurt." Yuzu said hugging the boy who was now standing pretty much ok.
"Yuya." Yuto said standing infront of the two.
"Yuto. It was a great match. I'm glad I got a chance to duel you. I guess this is goodbye. Just remember, if you ever need anything, just come to us. We'll help." Yuya said to the teen who had his head down wondering if he was going to regret what he would say next.
"Listen Yuya, I was planning on leaving to find my best friend Shun. But when you wanted to duel me I thought it was a good way to test you. To see if you were ready for the upcoming threats. And you passed. No one's ever pushed me that far. And despite my expression, that was the most fun I've had dueling in a long time. So I'll stay with you, if that's ok with you."
"Yuto...of course it is. Yuzu, Yugo, and I will help you. These people are all of our enemies and we have to stick together." Yuya said reached his hand out to the dark duelist whom looked at the hand and then accepted the handshake. Now, they were comrades.
Later that night,
With the help of Yoko, Yuzu was allowed to spend the night at the Sakaki residence as long as she had her own room. Yoko had went to bed and the four teens were gathered around the table talking about Academia, dueling and stories. But this was interrupted by a knock on the door.
Yuya ran to the door and gasped seeing who it was. "Yuto! Shun is here!" Yuya yelled to the boy who gasped in shock.
"L-Let him in!" Yuto said still surprised at the appearance. of his best friend.
All the teens gathered around the door whil Yuya opened the door.
"Shun! Are you ok?!" Yuto questioned his friend.
"I am fine Yuto. I was sent here by Reiji Akaba to give you and that synchro duelist these." Shun said handing them two duel disks to the two teens.
"Thanks man!" Yugo said as he analyzed the duel disk. He then activate the turquoise duel disk which had a green blade. Yuto activates his duel disk which was dark blue and had a purple blade.
"Why is he giving us this dimensions duel disk?" Yuto asked.
"Well he needs your old duel disk so he can study the dimensional traveling mechanism inside it." Shun answered.
"Why would he need that?" Yuzu asked.
"That way he can use the technology to travel between dimensions to fight Academia." Shun answered which surprised the others.
"In that case, here." Yuto said taking his deck and extra deck out and giving the duel disk to Shun.
"Wait. What about me?" Yugo asked.
"After your duel, he sent people to collect your motorcycle which was badly damaged to study it and see if it had dimensional travel tech but it didn't. You'lol get it back soon. So how did you travel dimensions?" Shun asked back.
"Oh my dragon teleports me around sometimes. And THAT BASTARD BETTER GIVE ME MY D-WHEEL BACK!" Yugo screamed but on the inside he was just glad he would eventually get it back.
Shun's face got serious as he grabbed the synchro duelist's collar and said coldly, "If you ever hurt my friend ever again I will hunt you down and kill you. Is. That. Clear?"
"Yes yes yes!" Yugo said whispering behind Yuzu who laughed.
"Also, Akaba Reiji wants you two to participate in the Miami Championship as LDS students which is why he postponed the last two duels of the first round." Shun explained.
"Isn't that the tournament you guys are in?" Yugo asked Yuzu and Yuya who nodded back.
"Why would he want that?" Yuto asked.
"I do not know fully. But, all I knows is he is looking for allies for the future battles." Shun responded.
"I can't go participating in meaningless tournaments while Rin is captured! I have to get to Academia!" Yugo said growiling.
"Well, if Reiji is taking allies to Academia than it would be good to participate in this tournament." Yuto said.
"I guess your right." Yugo said.
"Good. Then I will inform Reiji. Make sure you are at the stadium tomorrow. These two will take you." Shun said looking at Yuzu and Yuya.
"Wait there is one thing." Yuto said before his friend left.
"What?"
Yuto looked at Yugo who nodded before he spoke, "We want to duel as YouShow duelists."
"Well, I guess it doesnt matter in the end, I'll see you soon." Shun said fisting bumping his best friend before leaving.
That Night
Yuya layed in his room thinking about what had happend during the duel as the part where Dark Anthelion destroyed his Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon replayed one his head. He had gotten so much stronger but he still couldn't win. And he knew there would be stronger opponents than Yuto in academia because of the way he spoke about them. He looked at his deck with the top card being his signature monster, Odd Eyes.
"Is my entertainment dueling strong enough...?"
No card descriptions, I'll do it next time there are way to many words and I pretty much explained all the new cards in full detail. I'm tired it's like 12:35 and I want to get this out tonight.
A/N: Well that was a looooong chapter! Sorry but this being the first full duel of the story I wanted to make it especially good. Also, Yuya now has Vortex Dragon since I wanted to give it to him before the tournament. Also, I hope you guys like Yuto's new Pendulum cards. He will have two level 7 pendulum monsters for when he summons Dark Anthelion without rank up. Also, sorry to everyone wanting Yuya to win but I wrote him to lose, one because he needed to lose for character development, and two, I wanted to write Yuto as a stronger duelist than what the anime led him on to be because I feel like he deserves better. Also Dark Anthelion was sent to the EXTRA DECK by Vortex's effect! That's why Yuto could bring it back out. I have also decided I want the boys to participate in the tournament. The only duel I'm planning on repeating is Yuya vs Kachidoki. Yuzu and Gogenzaka's duels will only be talked about in the second round because I want to get to the Battle Royale already. But I won't rush. And Yugo and Yuto will have full duels. At least their first matches.
