"Shutendoji-G's effect! When my monster is successfully Synchro summoned, while I have no spell or trap cards on my field, I can destroy all spell or trap cards on my opponent's field!" Gongenzaka yelled pointing at the set cards as they bursted.
"Damn!" Yugo shouted as his two cards bursted.
"When a Superheavy Synchro Monster is successfully summoned, I can summon a Superheavy Samurai Soul Shine Claw!" Gongenzaka said as the claw like monster appeared.

I can equip it to Shutendoji-G and it gains 500 DEF!" Gongenzaka shouted as the two smaller monster equipped themselves to Synchro Monster.

"Uh oh..." Yugo gulped realizing that his plan had failed.
"Shutendoji-G can attack while in defense position! Battle! Shutendoji-G attack Puzzle!" Gongenzaka said raising his fist as the monster shot it's new claw at Puzzle.
"Puzzle's effect! Once per turn, when this card battles a special summoned monster, it's attack doubles!" Yugo shouted.

"But you're monster is still weaker!" Gongenzaka yelled as the monster was destroyed.

"Soul Double Horn's effect lets the monster that it is equiped to attack twice while I have no spells or traps in my graveyard! Go! Shutendoji-G! Direct Attack!" Gongenzaka shouted as Yugo panicked. He looked to his left and saw an Action Card but he decided he should not get it.

"What is this?! Why didn't you get an Action Card?! Holding back is unforgivable!" Gongenzaka said with a flare in his eyes.
"It's nothing like that! I just...want to respect your dueling style and try it myself. I don't want to be totally reliant on Action Cards after all." Yugo said as he scrated the back of his head.
"Very well. I end my turn." Gongenzaka said
"My turn! I activate the spell card Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and discard two!" Yugo said drawing his card. 'Big Bang shot...I can do this!'
"Bring it, Yugo!" Gongenzaka shouted.
"Right! I summon Speedroid Double Yo-Yo! It's effect summons Three Eyes Dice which I just sent to the grave!" Yugo explained as the two monsters appeared.

"Battle! Clear Wing attack Shutendoji-G! Whirlwind Helldive Slasher!" Yugo commanded as his monster flew through the air surrounded by green energy as it charged at the monster.
"Due to the effect of Soul Shine Claw, my monster can't be destroyed!" Gongenzaka countered as he was hit by a shockwave but didn't move.

"Damn. I end my turn. At this moment, Carturbo's effect ends and my monster returns to 2900 attack points." Yugo explained.
"My turn! Battle! Shutendoji-G attack. Clear Wing!" Gongenzaka commanded his monster as it shot it's claw at the dragon.
"I banish Three Eyed Dice to negate the attack!" Yugo countered.
"Then attack again! Go!" Gongenzaka commanded his monster as it's second attack destroyed Clear Wing.

"I end my turn. Are you really going to let the duel end like this, Yugo?!" Gongenzaka shouted.
"Of course not. I just gotta believe in my deck! My turn, draw! I activate the spell card Synchro Recycle! Now I can return a Synchro monster in my graveyard or on my field to my extra deck to draw a card! And then if it that monster is a level 7 or higher monster, I draw another card. Therefore I draw two!" Yugo shouted drawing his two cards dramatically similar to Gongenzaka.
"Show me what you got, Yugo!" Gongenzaka shouted.
"I plan to! I summon the tuner Speedroid Maliciousmagnet!" Yugo shouted as the monster appeared.

"Let's go! I tune the level 1 Maliciousmagnet to your level 6 Shutendoji-G! Spread those wonderous and beautiful wings and strike down our enemies at light speed! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" Yugo shouted as his dragon flew through the air once more.

"Clever strategy, Yugo. Now don't hold back!" Gongenzaka said preparing for the attack by blocking his upper body with his arms.
"Battle! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon! Direct attack!" Yugo shouted as his dragon shot a green blast of energy at the Gongenzaka causing a big explosion.

As the smoke cleared, the muscular teen was standing where he previously was with his steam coming off his body.
"Wow, you sure are cool Gongenzaka. I set one card and end my turn." Yugo said.
"I, the man Gongenzaka will not give up until the end! My turn!" Gongenzaka shouted as his draw created a powerful force of wind. " I summon Superheavy Samurai Kagebo-C! Then, Kagebo-C's effect lets me release it to summon Superheavy Samurai Big Ben-K!" Gongenzaka shouted as the large monster appeared.

"So you summoned your original ace monster, eh? But you can't use it's effect to switch it to defense mode with Clear Wing on the field!" Yugo said.
"I know that. But that won't stop me! I send Superheavy Samurai Balanc-E from my hand to the grave to switch Big Ben-K to defense position!" Gongenzaka shouted which shocked Yugo.
Big Ben-K (1000/3500)-(1000/3500)
"My monster can attack while in defense position! Battle! Big Ben-K Attack! This is the end!" Gongenzaka shouted as his monster charged at the dragon with it's weapon.
"Trap activate! Damage Draw! I take no damage and draw!" Yugo shouted as his dragon was slashed with the samurai's weapon. 'Sorry Clear Wing...'
"My turn is over." Gongenzaka said.
"My turn!" Yugo said drawing his card dramatically. He created a gust of wind similar to Gongenzaka which suprised the muscular teen. The card he drew faintly glowed as he drew it. He looked at the card and was confused where this card came from. But something was telling him to play it. "Ok, I set a card face down and activate the spell card Monster Reborn! Be reborn in defense mode, Clear Wing!" Yugo said as the monster reappeared once more.

"I end my turn." Yugo said.
"My turn! I activate the effect of Balanc-E in my graveyard! I banish it in my grave and to add Horaga-E to my hand and then I summon it! Now I tune my level 2 Horaga-E to my level 8 Big Ben-K! Raging deity, in unison with the soul of a thousand blades, come forth in a spiraling wave! Synchro Summon! Now come before us, Level 10! Superheavy Koujin Susano-O!" Gongenzaka shouted as his large and powerful warrior with turquoise and black armor and a large sword appeared.

"What a powerful synchro monster...!" Yugo uttered.
"Susano-O's effect! While I have no spells in my graveyard, I can pay 500 life points to activate a spell in your grave on my side of the field! I choose Big Bang Shot!" Gongenzaka exclaimed as the card appeared on his field while he lost life points.
"Using a spell card from my graveyard?! I won't let you just yet! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect! When a level 5 or higher monster activates an effect, I negate and destroy the monster! Dichroic Mirror!"
"I won't let you do that! When an opponents monster activates an effect of a monster in response to an effect of a Superheavy monster, I can send Superheavy Shock Shield-D to negate that effect!"
"What?!" Yugo shouted as his dragons effect was blocked by the spirit of the monster.
GONGENZAKA: 800-300 LP

"Using a spell card from my graveyard?!" Yugo shouted.
"Susano-O can attack while in defense mode! And due to Big Bang Shot, my monster deals piercing damage!
'Damn it! Why did I have to draw a card like that?! I don't even remember having that card in my deck?!' Yugo thought to himself. As he tightened his fists, he looked at his dragon feeling sorry for the dragon that was about to be destroyed. 'I let you down, Clear Wing.' As the big thought this, he could have sworn he saw the dragon nod at him. He then looked at his deck which was glowing a turquoise color before stopping. Yugo got an image of a dragon similar to Clear Wing calling out to him. 'I see...thanks Clear Wing.'
"This duel is over! Battle! Susano-O Attack Clear Wing Synchro Dragon! Kusanagi Sword!" Gongenzaka yelled as his monster swung its sword at the Synchro Dragon.
"Let's go, Clear Wing! Trap Activate! Assault Mode Activate! This trap cards lets me release Clear Wing in order to summon a new monster from my deck!" Yugo shouted as his eyes faintly glowed. Clear Wing was engulfed in a bright turquoise light as it's body began to change. "Sharpen your bright and wonderous wings and evolve beyond your limits through the shinning light! Come forth! Level 9! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon/Assault Mode!"
The light dispersed and the dragon had evolved into a new version of the former dragon. Clear Wing now had larger and sharper crystal wings with a brighter green color and had mainly white and blue armor like before but had sharp golden armor towards the dragon's chest and around its claws. The dragon zipped through the air with even more speed than it had before and then flew down next to Yugo.
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon/Assault Mode(3000/2500) LVL:9
"You look so awesome Clear Wing!" Yugo shouted as he patted his dragons tail while looking at it in awe. The dragon roared to Yugo in approval.
"Impressive. But not enough! I can still attack-"
"I won't let you! I activate the effect of Clear Wing! Once per turn, during either player's turn, it can negate the effect of a monster on the field! I choose Susano-O! Distortion Mirror!" Yugo shouted as his dragon's wings began to glow in a bright turquoise light that shot at the monster and binded it.
"Impressive, without it's effects, my monster can't attack in defense position. I have no choice but to end my turn." Gongenzaka said.
"My turn! Sorry Gongnezaka, this duel has been fun. I'm truly thankful for this duel because dueling this way has forced me to evolve in a way I never thought about." Yugo said.
"I, the man Gongenzaka will take whatever you throw at me like a true man! So bring it!" Gongnenzaka said with his arms extended to each side.
"Ok, Battle! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon/Assault Mode Attack Susasno-O and end this! At this moment, Clear Wings' effect activates! When this card attacks an opponent's monster that was special summoned, it has it's effects negated and is destroyed! Go, Dichroic Blitz!" Yugo commanded his dragon as it flied through the air surrounded by a colorful aura with it's shinning wings. As the dragon collided with the Samurai's sword, the dragon bursted through the monster causing it to turn into light and then disappearing in a burst of light.
"Then, this card can attack again! Go! Clear Wing! Direct attack!" Yugo commanded his monster as the dragon's wings shined in a colorful light and the dragon fired a beautiful and colorful blast from it's mouth which consumed the Samurai user and eventually knocked him to the ground.
GONGENZAKA: 300-0 LP

"Gongenzaka, that's definitely been the best duel I've had since I've came here to this dime-I mean city." Yugo quickly recovered. He didn't want to count his duel against Yuya and Yuto since he wasn't proud of that duel, and he wasn't really dueling, it was more of something coming over him, or something along those lines.
"I appreciate this match as well. Here is your Pendulum Card." Gongenzaka said handing the boy his card.
As Yugo took the card, a loud explosion was heard not to far away. "Should we investigate?" Yugo asked and Gongenzaka nodded.
They walked through the bushes and tree and eventually they saw Michio beat Takeda and Umesugi while Teppei was standing over top of the loser.
"Now give me your pendulum cards!" Teppei said.
"But you didn't even duel!" Takeda said annoyed.
"We are partners." Teppei said looking at Michio. "I baited you in with my expert fishing skills and Michio beat you."
The two warrior duelists then walked after giving the fisherman duelist their cards. "Good job!" Teppei said to Michio.
"Thanks Teppei." Michio said.
"Hey!" Gongenzaka yelled bursting out of the bushes which suprised Yugo. "You are a coward for taking his card. That is rude and not fair! You let your teammate do all the dirty work and you took the rewards. You are not a man!"
"What? Do you want to duel or something. Because you'll need 5 cards to duel me." Teppei said.
"5?! Unforgivable!" Gongenzaka yelled since he didn't have enough cards.
Yugo then walked out of the bushes pointing at the two "partners". "Fine! We challenge you both to a duel! Gongenzaka and I against you two!"
"What?! Both of us?!" Teppei said sweating.
"Are you a chicken or something?" Yugo said with a sly smile.
"What?! Ok fine! We'll duel and when we win, I'll be taking two cards from each of you! How's that?" Teppei yelled.
"Fine by me. You ready, Gongenzaka?" Yugo asked his teammate.
"Thanks Yugo. I, the man Gongenzaka will give this duel my all!" Gongenzaka said.
"Let's show them what we can do, Teppei!" Michio said to his teammate who nodded back.
"DUEL!"
"With a brand new variant of his dragon, Yugo managed to win his duel against the stead fast duelist!" Nico shouted into the mic which made the whole crowd cheer.
"That duel gave me shivers!" Futoshi said comically shaking his body.
"That dragon was awesome!" Ayu said.
"Yugo's sure got some powerful versions of Clear Wing...I wonder if we'll ever see a powered up form of Dark Rebellion?" Tastuya said. In both of Yuto's matches, the only dragon he had summoned was Dark Rebellion so they had never seen the evolved forms of the dragon.
Ancient Ruins Area
Yuto had just found his second pendulum card not too long ago and was currently running through the area. A little while ago, he saw an explosion near by and assumed it was a duel so he wanted to run to where the duel has taken place to see if Shun was one of the duelists.
"I made it." Yuto looked around on the bridge he was standing on which was turned into a part of the Ancient Ruins Area due to the Solid Vision.
"Look what we have here~" A voice said behind Yuto had he quickly snapped his head back behind him to see who it was. Three teens in Knight armor were standing in front of him with their duel disks ready.
"So you guys were the ones who just dueled. I take it you lost." Yuto said as he noticed the marks on the Knight's Armor.
"Shut up!" The one named Ashley said. "We are going to defeat you to avenge the duelist you beat in the second round! Kai was one of us and we will avenge him!"
"Yeah, you might as well give us your Pendulum Cards right now." Another one named Bram said.
"You guys make me sick. But no matter, I'll defeat all three of you right now! I have three Pendulum cards and I'll bet all three of them." Yuto said.
"Don't get so cocky! Ashley, Bram and I will each bet one so the winning side gets three cards." The one named Carl said.
"Let's just get this over with." Yuto said.

"My turn! Draw! You'll pay for underestimating us! First I activate the spell card Incoming Calvary! I send one card from my hand to the grave to add a Gaia monster to my hand! Next, I activate the spell card Fusion! I fuse Gaia the Fierce Knight with Cursed Dragon in my hand! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Gaia the Dragon Champion!" Ashely shouted as the fusion monster appeared which was a knight riding on the back of a yellow dragon.

"Battle! Gaia the Dragon Champion Direct Attack!" Ashley commanded his monster as it charged directly at Yuto.
"Double Trap Activate! Two Phantom Knights Lost Vambrace! Now I summon these monsters and your Gaia loses 1200 attack! And then I summon these trap monsters in attack mode and they can't be destroyed by battle." Yuto shouted.

Cursed spear buried in the darkness! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Appear! Rank 2! Phantom Knights Cursed Javelin!" Yuto chanted as the warrior with a spear and skull for a head was summoned.

"I watched your previous matches so I know what that monster does. So I'll do this! I activate a monster's quick effect in my hand! I release my fusion monster in order to special summon Soldier Gaia the Fierce Knight!" Ashley shouted as the fusion monster dissolved and the new knight monster appeared in the monster's place.

"I activate Soldier Gaia's effect! I switch your monster to defense mode." Ashley shouted pointing at the knight.
"I use an overlay unit to use Cursed Javelin's effect! Your monster has it's effect negated and it's attack becomes 0!" Yuto shouted as his monster shot blue electricity at the knight which weakened the monster.

The two monsters briefly clashed before returning to their owners sides.
"During my battle phase, I can banish Incoming Calvary in my graveyard to use its second effect! I release Soldier Gaia on my field and summon Swift Gaia which I sent to the graveyard earlier." Ashley said.

"Now I attack again with Swift Gaia!" Ashley shouted as his monster charged at the Xyz monster.
"The turn Lost Vambrace is activated, Phantom Knights cannot be destroyed by battle!" Yuto countered.
"But you still take the damage!" Ashley yelled.

"Hah! Now during my main phase 2, I activate the spell card Ressurection of the Dragon Champion! I release a Gaia monster in my field and special summon Gaia the Dragon Knight back to the field!" Ashley shouted as his fusion monster returned.

"Turn end." Ashley said looking at Bram who nodded.
"My turn, draw! I activate the Spell Card Fusion! I fuse Gaia the Fierce Knight in my hand with Cursed Dragon in my hand! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Sky Galloping Gaia the Dragon Champion!" Bram shouted as the golden knight riding a burning dragon appeared.

"Sky Galloping Gaia's effect lets me add Spiral Spear Strike to my hand and then activate it!" Bram yelled.
"Now what does that do?" Yuto said.
"Now my monster can inflict piercing damage! Battle! Sky Galloping Gaia Attack! And when my monster battles an Attack Position monster, that monster is switched to Defense Position!" Bram shouted as the monster charged at Phantom Knight that was now kneeling down.
"By using one overlay unit, your monsters ATK is reduced to 0 and your monsters effect are negated!" Yuto shouted but Bram didn't look worried.
"I activage the quick play spell Shield of the Dragon Champion! When my opponent's card effect targets a Gaia the Dragon Champion on my field, that effect is negated!" Bram shouted.
"In that case, I summon Phantom Knights Shattered Shield through its effect and negate the battle damage!" Yuto shouted as the small Phantom Knight carrying a large shield appeared and protectively stood infront of Yuto.

"Damn, I end my turn. Finish this Carl!" Bram shouted.
"My turn! This is it for you! I activate the spell card Spiral Fusion! I fuse Gaia the Fierce Knight and Cursed Dragon in my hand! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Gaia the Magical Dragon Champion!" Carl shouted as the dragon knight with more advanced armor and a bigger dragon appeared.

"Next I use the effect of Gaia! I destroy a card on your field by decreasing his ATK by 2600! I destroy your face down on the right." Carl shouted as the destroyed card revealed to be Yuto's Fog Blade which would have been helpful.
'Damn!' Yuto thought to himself.
"Battle! Gaia the Magical Dragon Champion Attack his remaining monster!" Carl shouted pointing at the monster at the monster destroying it. "And now due to my monster's effect, my monster gains 2600 ATK!"

"Let's end this, shall we? Direct Attack!" Carl shouted pointing at Yuto as his dragon knight charged at him.
"I activate the trap card Mirror Shade! I halve my life points and take no damage!" Yuto shouted as a semi barrier appeared in front of him but he was still blown back by the shockwave.

"Damn! Whatever, this duel is over anyway. I end my turn." Carl said.
Yuto got up and dusted him self off before glaring at his opponents. "Give up."
"Give up? We should be saying that to you!" Bram said.
"With no cards on your field or in your hand, you have no chance at winning!" Ashley said.
Yuto looked at the field. He had no cards on his field or in his hand while each of his opponents had a version of Gaia the Dragon Champion on their fields. "You duelists make me sick...ganging up on someone in such a unfair way...you don't deserve to be called duelists!" Yuto yelled with a serious expression.
"What was that?!" Ashley yelled.
Yuto's vision started to blur as he no longer saw the three knights. What he saw was three Academia students standing in front of him. "You will...pay...You Will Pay!" Yuto shouted as his eyes began to faintly glow.
"What the hell?!" Bram shouted.
'No! I can't let my anger get control!' Yuto said grabbing his head as he took deep breathes. His eyes went back to being gray and his vision returned to normal.
"Are you going to go or what?" Ashley said.
Yuto regained his composure before looking at his opponents. "I'm giving you one chance. Surrender."
"Now why would we do that?" Carl sneered.
"You have not cards in your hand or field! What could you possibly do?" Bram laughed.
"Fine, don't say I didn't give you a chance to back down. My turn! I activate the spell card Phantom Knights Treasure! I now can banish up to three Phantom Knights spells or traps in my grave and draw cards for each card plus one! So I banish my two lost vambrance and fog blade in my graveyard to draw 4 cards!" Yuto shouted drawing again.
"It doesn't matter! We each have all our life points and a fusion monster on our fields." Bram shouted.
"I activage the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knights Burial! I special summon Cursed Javelin in my grave and rank it up 2 ranks higher using this card as material! Fangs of pitch-black darkness! Rise up against the foolish oppression! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his ace dragon appeared with a loud roar.

"From the depth of purgatory, sing the song of rebellion dedicated to the restless souls! Let it echo for all eternity and appear! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his evolved ace dragon emerged.

"No way...!" The three said in awe.
"Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon's Effect Activate! By using one overlay unit, I can target one of your monsters and that monster's ATK becomes 0. Then, Dark Requiem gains the amount lost! I target Gaia the Magical! Requiest Salvation!" Yuto shouted as the dragon shot dark energy from the orbs on its wings at the monster.

"I-I won't let you! I activate the effect of Gaia the Magical! I decrease it's attack by 2600 to destroy your dragon!" Carl shouted as the knight commanded the dragon to shoot a powerful blast of fire at Yuto's dragon.

"Another Rank Up?!" Bram shouted in a mix of shock and horror.
"Fang of Rebellion, descend from the purified darkness and destroy those who oppose your order! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 7! Dark Anthelion Dragon!" Yuto shouted as the Xyz Pendulum monster appeared.

"This is the embodiment of the power of Pendulum and Xyz combined!" Yuto shouted.
"A Xyz Pendulum monster?!" Bran shouted in shock.
"Just like that Yuya Sakaki kid." Carl said.
"I use an Overlay Unit to activate Dark Anthelion's effect! Now your Sky Galloping Gaia has its ATK cut in half and dragon gains the lost amount! Also, I gain life points equal to the lost amount as well! Absorb Eclipse!" Yuto shouted.

"Battle! Dark Requiem Attack Gaia the Magical! Requiest Disastor Disobey!" Yuto shouted as his dragon flew up in the air and spreaded it glass like wings before flying down at the fusion monster destroying it.

"Go! Dark Anthelion Attack Swift Galloping Gaia! Dark Dawn Break!" Yuto commanded his dragon as it flew up in the air surrounding itself with purple electricity and then dove down at the fusion monster destroying it.

"Damn! I'll just defeat you and reveng my friends!" Ashley spoke.
"You think so?"
"What?!"
"Dragons of Darkness's final effect! I can send this card to the grave to let one of my dragons attack again! Go! Dark Requiem! Attack Gaia the Dragon Champion and end this duel! Requiest Disaster Disobey!" Yuto shouted as his dragon destroyed the last monster.
ASHLEY: 4000-0 LP
"Those dragons were his evolved forms of Dark Rebellion!" Tastuya shouted.
"Yuto looked so angry in that duel..." Ayu said.
"Well those guys were playing dirty by dueling him in a 3v1." Shuzo said.
"I guess your right." Ayu said.
"Damn...you..." Bram said as he laid on the ground.
"We will get...you back...for this!" Ashley said lifting his head up.
Yuto ran over to his opponents that were knocked onto the ground. 'Maybe I over did it.'
"Where did the guys who beat you earlier go! Tell me!" Yuto said picking Carl up off the ground.
"He went...that way..." Carl said in fear pointing to a ancient building in the distance.
"Thanks." Yuto said before running off. He knew the one that beat them earlier was Shun.
A little later...
After running for a little while, Yuto had managed to get to the open building that the Knights talked about. He went in and saw many open walls and pillars surrounding the area and when he walked in further, he saw Shun talking to Yuya.
"Where is he?! Where is Yuto?!" Shun said grabbing the red and green haired boy by the collar. After mistaking Yuya for his friend, he grabbed the boy by the collar and shook him while asking him the same question over and over again.
"I-I don't know! We split up to find you!" Yuya said.
"Shun! Yuya!" Yuto yelled running over to the two as Shun dropped Yuya.
"Yuto!" Shun and Yuya shouted.
"Hey guys..." Yuto said kneeling down in exhaustion.
"Yuto are you ok?!" Shun said kneeling down to the boy's level.
"What happeneed?" Yuya said in concern.
"I dueled the Knights of Duels and won. And then I ran here." Yuto said.
"All three of them?! I dueled two duelists at once but three..." Yuya said.
"Those bastards! I dueled them earlier and won too. They don't seem to give up." Shun said in anger.
"There's no time to worry about me. Shun is Academia really co-"
"Slash the Assault Knight can attack the player directly!" A voice which revealed to be Carl the knight slashed it's sword creating a energy slash that was heading directly at Yuya. Without thinking, Yuto dove at Yuya with incredible speed saving him from getting hit by the attack.
"Slash the Assault Knight can change the damage to 0." Ashley shouted.
"The knights of duels again? They sure don't give up." Shun said getting up.
"Yuya are you ok?!" Yuto said in concern.
"Yeah, thanks Yuto." Yuya said.
"Haha! My turn! Battle! Slash the Assault can attack the player directly!" Ashley shouted as another energy slash was heading towards the three teens.
The three got down again barely dodging the attack. "Damn! They must have followed me! They didn't even use those monsters last time." Yuto said in anger.
"Slash the Assault Knight changes the damage to 0. My turn!" Bram shouted.
"They are pretending to duel so they can harass us! And using cheap monsters like that!" Shun said enraged.
"How could someone do something like this?! This isn't dueling at all!" Yuya said in disbelief.
"Why don't you join the duel by paying 2000 life points!" Ashley shouted at them.
"Damn you!" Shun yelled.
"Battle! Assault Knight can attack the player directly!" Bram shouted.
This time the attack was too quick and the three of them got hit by the energy slash. Shun was sent flying into a pillar which severely hurt him. Yuya and Yuto were standing close to each other so they were both sent flying off the edge and they each landed on two different pillars.
"Shun!" Yuto shouted seeing he was cornered by the knights.
As Yuya and Yuto held on to the top of the pillars, they saw men in blue suit with different colored gems on their foreheads.
"Who are they...?" Yuya said in confusion.
"Obelisk Force!" Yuto said in anger before losing his grip and falling down landing on a smaller pillar.

"Sir! Academia troops have been spotted in the Ancient Ruins!" Nakajima shouted.
"Cut the feed to that area." Reiji said. 'The time has finally come. Yuto, Yuya, show me your true potential.'
Ancient Ruins Area
As the Obelisk Force stood in front of the confused Knights of Duels, a familiar boy with blue hair and a dark blue jacket walked out onto the field. "I've been looking forward to settling the score between us, Shun Kurosaki!"
"Sora! You're ok!" Yuya yelled but the boy simply ignored him.
"Hold them back so they can't interfere." Sora said to the Obelisk Force.
"Hey! Stop it Sora!" Yuya said as he fell just like Yuto did.
"Who are you guys?" Carl asked.
"Obelisk Force."
BATTLE ROYALE MODE: JOINING...
"Lets go over here." Sora said walking out of the building and up the steps of another building. Shun sighed before following the boy.
After falling, Yuya and Yuto both made it back to the bridge helping each other up. They ran back to where they once were only to see the three knights on the ground covered in bruises.
One of the Obelisk Force soldiers stood infront of them and hit a button on his duel disk as a bright purple light engulphed Carl. A card with Carl's frightened face appeared where he once was.
The two look alikes stared at the scene that had just unfolded.
'What did they just do?! Hurting people with dueling...how could some one do this...unforgivable!' Yuya thoughts were racing through his head as he grabbed his head.
'No! Just like back then...Heartland...I couldn't save anyone...not then...not now!' Yuto grabbed his head in a similar way.
"What did you do?! That's against the rules!" Bram shouted.
"No it isn't. The weak deserve to disappear." The Obelisk Force Soldier said before beginning to touch his duel disk again.
"Stop it." Yuto said in horror.
The soldier stepped forward towards the two cowering Knights.
"Stop it." Yuya said repeating his look alike with a serious tone similar to Yuto.
The button was pressed and the two were enveloped in a purple light and then two cards with their faces appeared in their place.
"Stop it!" Both boys yelled in unison.
Yuya began seeing flashes of Yuto memories, the many people from Heartland being carded and the utopic city being turned into ashes. Yuya's eyes glowed red and his hair went directly upwards which made him look even more like Yuto. Yuto on the other hand had his hair sticking straight up with his bangs sticking straight up as well. Yuto's eyes glowed a dark blue color in a similar fashion to Yuya.
"Let's get back to our mission." One of soldiers said as they started to walk away.
"Stop it!" The Obelisk force turned around seeing the two boys who looked a lot alike now that Yuya's hair looked similar to Yuto's but red and green. "I'll never forgive you!" Both boys said in unison.
"You two against us? You must have a death wish." One said but the two boys just stared with their glowing eyes.
The Obelisk Force readied their red sword duel disks which meant they were ready.
"I'll defeat you and make you pay!" Yuya and Yuto yelled in unison.
"DUEL!"
Hey Guys! I just found I have no more school for the rest of the year! Though I'm a little sad, I'm not too sad since I can still see my friends outside of school and plus I get to keep writing without having homework and other shit. Woo hoo!
Anyway, while I was deciding who each of the main cast should duel in the battle royale, I came up with the idea of having Yugo duel Gongenzaka. I personally had lots of fun writing that duel. I hoped you guys liked that Yugo got an Assault mode version of clear wing. I really wanted that to happen in the anime and I was going to have him use this card in the WRGP but I decided to use it here. I did that because Yugo winning with Crystal Wing would've been super boring since he has no other boss monster right now.
As for Yuto, when he gets pissed, even with our powers, he's still a very good duelist with an explosive strat and I wanted to show that. I love him dragons so much and Requiem and Anthelion being on the field at the same time would just be so cool so I had to do it. I originally was going to have him defeat them all using just dark rebellion, but that would be too boring.
I don't think I'm going to show Yugo and Gongenzaka vs Teppei and Michio, I'm actually planning on that duel getting cut short because of the one girl that uses ritual coming in and getting help.
As for Yuto and Yuya vs Obelisk Force, I PURPOSELY didn't say how many Obelisk Force soldiers there were because I haven't quite decided the number yet. Somewhere between 3-6 probably. And I wanted it to be Yuto and Yuya teaming up because of the evil influence that came over them when they saw the carded people which will make the duel totally in sync.

Super Shadow 2018: Lol I meant to say high. I have to right on my phone so every word being right was never really an option. Regarding your other words, you misunderstood me. I'm going to keep the ritual monsters, I just might change their name and type is all. I might make Clear Wing Witch and Starve Venom Warrior Synchro and Fusion monster's separately. They will probably get rituals, I'm just gonna save those two names for later is all.
SniperZ: Yuya will not be as reliant on action cards in the story, but that comes with character development. And Serena will become friends with everyone in the group. Including Yugo since I thought their encounters with him calling her Rin and her beating the hell out of him was hilarious. But she will talk to Yuya a lot in Synchro for...reasons yet to be explained that I won't spoil.
Next time: Yuto and Yuya begin their face off against the evil Obelisk Force as an evil presence takes over the two boys?! Will the two be able to beat the soldiers of Academia despite their numbers?! Find out next time on Yugioh Arc V Altered Destiny! The fun has just begun!
