The hound jumped on top of an pillar and rammed Yuya in the back causing him to be knocked to the ground.

Yuya yelled as he summoned a smaller dragon that looked similar to Odd Eyes Dragon but with silver armor and two silver shields attached to each arm.

The small girl Mieru had just gotten to the scene of the duel while looking for her "darling". She had finally found him in the field, despite her not being aloud on the field.
"Darling?" Mieru said in confusion. She saw he was during with his "cousin", and he was dueling 6 strange looking guys. She noticed something wasn't right with them so she decided to get out her crystal ball. She looked into it and saw the two boy's souls were somehow connected by a dark presence. "I don't believe it! I better go get help!" She said running off.
Yuto got up and stared at the six duelists who each had a malicious grin. "You are the ones that destroyed my home...you'll pay! I'll make you pay! My turn!" Yuto shouted with an angry voice as he drew.
"With the Scale 2 Phantom Knights Rusted Axe and the Scale 5 Phantom Knights Unholy Sorcerer, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuto shouted with glowing eyes as he set him new cards on his scale. The lower scale monster was a blue spirit wearing a silver armor and carried a rusty axe. The higher scale monster was a monster was a blue spirit with a pitch black cloak and carried a wooden staff with a dark blue flame at the top.

"Bastard! He knew my moves!" Green shouted in anger.

"Your pain has just begun! During my main phase 2, I activate the spell card Seven Star! This spell lets me tribute Dark Rebellion to draw a card! Then I draw for each overlay unit that monster had!" Yuto shouted drawing two cards.
"But now you're defenseless!" Obelisk Green said laughing.
"You won't be laughing for long. I set a card face down, turn end!" Yuto shouted.
Yuya glared at his opponents with a malicious glare as his eyes continued to glow.
"Pathetic! You are all pathetic! My turn!" Yuya yelled violently drawing his card that glowed as he drew. He looked at the card as his glowing eyes widened.
"This card..." Yuya uttered as he looked at the spell he had drawn while grabbing his head in pain.
Yuya was once again in the pitch black void and was floating next to the shadowy figure with spiky hair and bright yellow eyes. The shadow reached out and touched Yuya's Pendulum that dangle next to his chest. The shadows hand started to glow light blue.
"The power of Pendulum is infinite. It connects all summoning methods together..." The shadow said as light blue energy coming from the hand of the shadow surrounded Yuya.
"I will use my new power to destroy you!" Yuya shouted as dark energy surrounded him while his hair spiked up even more. "I activate the Action Spell Tribute Draw! I tribute a level 5 or higher monster to draw 2 cards!"
"No matter what you do, you'll never win!" Obelisk Red said with a grin.
"Oh we'll see! Next I activate the spell card Odd Eyes Draw! I send the top card of my deck to my grave and if it's an Odd Eyes monster, I draw depending on the level of the monster!" Yuya said revealing Odd Eyes Advance Dragon and sending it to the grave. "And since Advance Dragon is a level 8 monster, I draw 3 cards!" Yuya shouted now having 7 card in his hand.
"What luck! But it'll take more than just dumb luck to win!" Red 2 shouted.
"It's time! With the Scale 3 Xiangke Magician and Scale 8 Xiangsheng Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya maliciously yelled as the two magicians appeared.

Dark Rebellion was roaring in sync with Odd Eyes causing both boys to grin. But, neither of them could deny the burning sensation in their chests but they were so past their sanity that they didn't even show their pain.

"Ritual?!" Green 2 shouted in shock.
"Dragon born from the depths of the earth! Heed the call of the call of the ritual and break the chains that imprison you! Ritual Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Odd Eyes Gravity Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his eyes glowed even more as the blue and brown dragon appeared that had rock like armor with chains around it.

"My dragon's effect! When Gravity Dragon is special summoned, all your spells and trap are sent back to the hand! Gravity Wave!" Yuya shouted as his dragon's roar caused all the spells and traps to disintegrate and return to the Obelisk Force's hands.
"No way!" Green 2 said.
"Next, I activate the spell card Monster Reborn! I can now revive a monster from a players graveyard! I choose Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuya shouted as the monster appeared saw on his field as his pendulum and Xyz dragon roared causing his eyes to glow even more.

"Xyz Summon!" Yuya and Yuto both shouted with their eyes glowing bright. Come forth! Rank 7! Dragon with Eyes of Rage! Supreme King Black Dragon-Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon!" The two teens said in sync as the hyrbrid of their two ace monsters.

OVERLORD HOWLING!" Yuya shouted as his dragon roared causing all the Obelisk force's monsters to be destroyed.

"I won't let you defeat us all at once! During the turn when a Antique Gear monster was destroyed, I can send Antique Gear Gunner to the graveyard to halve one monsters ATK! I chose your Odd Eyes Rebellion!" Obelisk Red shouted as the Ancient Gear monster with two pistols in each hand appeared and shot bullets at the huge dragon.
"Odd Eyes Gravity Dragon's effect! In order to activate that effect, you must pay 500 life points! Restraining Pressure!" Yuya shouted. Red suddenly knelt down in pain as he was surrounded by an orange aura as Yuya's ritual dragons Eyes glowed.

Yuya commanded as his dragon wings gathered purple electricity and the dragon charged at the three tearing up the ground with its fangs.
"REBELLIOUS WRATH STRIKE DISOBEY!" Both Boys yelled in sync as the three Obelisk Force were hit by the dragons attack knocking them back several feet causing them to get knocked out.

Since where the two look alike were dueling wasn't that far from the next Area, Mieru managed run through the wood and find Yugo and Gongenzaka dueling Teppei and Michio. They all turned in shock seeing the girl.
"Mieru, what are you doing here?" Gongenzaka yelled.
"Yuya...needs...help..." Mieru said between each breath.
Without thinking, Yugo and Gongenzaka took their decks out ending the duel. "Does this mean we win?" Teppei said.
"No we have to help them! I barely know you and I trusted you so we need to trust them!" Michio said convincing him.
"C'mon! Let's go!" Yugo shouted impatiently. He wasn't about to lose his new family. Not without a fight.
Gongenzaka picked up the girl and carried her on his back as she gave him the direction of the two boys as Yugo and Michio sprinter after him with Teppei laughing behind.
"And then there were two. Turn end." Yuya said grinning.

"I activate the Pendulum Effect of Rusty Axe! I can special summon this card from my pendulum zone and the attack is changed to it! Also, it can't be destroyed by battle this turn!" Yuto shouted as his monster appeared in front of him blocking the attack with it's axe.

"Damn you! Then attack that dragon and end him!" Yellow 2 shouted.
"I won't let you! I activate the effect of Odd Eyes Shield Dragon in my graveyard! I banish it to switch all Odd Eyes monsters on my to defense mode and they can't be destroyed by battle until my next turn!" Yuya countered.
"Tsk. I end my turn!" Yellow 2 said turning to his teammate who nodded.

The teens continued to run getting extremely close to their destination but before they could, a man apeared suddenly in front of them.
"Who the hell are you?!" Yugo shouted.
The man was wearing a black jacket and had a black mask over his eyes and also had long hair. The man was smirking as he saw the enrage boy. "I am...Darkness!"
"Darkness?! What kind of name is that?!" Teppei said.
"Get the hell out of our way! We are trying to save my friends!" Yugo shouted in anger.
"Well, I don't care what these people do but I can't let you pass." The man known as Darkness said pointing at Yugo.
"Why the hell not?!" Yugo yelled.
"I am one of the most powerful duelists in Academia. I was tasked by the professor himself to come here and card you and your look alikes. But, since I'm so nice, I'll let your friends pass if you stay and duel me." Darkness said activating his blade sword blade duel disk.
"Fine! If you wanna get beaten so bad then I'll duel you!" Yugo shouted activating his own duel disk. "Go help Yuya and Yuto!"
"But-"
"Go!" Yugo shouted.
"Understood. Once we help them, we'll come right back!" Gongenzaka said before they ran off.
"Finally, it's just the two of us. Those standard duelists make me sick." Darkness said.
"So you know I'm not from this dimension." Yugo said.
"Yes, but let's not chit chat. I came to kill you so I can move on to my next target so I can leave this dimension." Darkness said.
'I have to protect Yuto and Yuya! I have to win!' Yugo thought to himself. "Let's go!"

"Battle! Ultimate Hound Dog Attacks Phantom Knights Rusty Axe! I'm ending you right now!" Green 2 shouted pointing at the Phantom Knight as his monster destroyed it.
"Continous Trap Phantom Knights Lasso! Sinceyour monster destroyed a Phantom Knights monster, this card is equiped to Ultimate Hound Dog and it can't use it's effect and it can't attack as long as this card is on the field!" Yuto shouted as the blue lasso rapped around the hound.
"Bastard! I end my turn!" Green 2 said.
Yuto looked at his deck with his hand hovering over it. As he blinked, he noticied a blue tint over the top of his deck. He looked over at Yuya who was staring back at him with his glowing red eyes but was surrounded by a light blue aura. The aura was then traveling from Yuya towards him but only he and Yuya could see it. After blinking again, the energy disappeared from his sight. He then looked up at the Obelisk Force with eyes glowing of hatred and rage.
"You all caused so much destruction! You don't deserve to live! My turn! DRAW!" Yuto shouted drawing his card that was covered in the light blue glow. He looked at the card and a malicious smile appeared on his face. "Usually, I would be merciless and give you a chance to surrender...BUT YOU DON'T DESERVE THAT RIGHT!"
"What the hell is with these guys?!" Yellow 2 said.
"With the Scale 1 Phantom Knights Lost Utilites, I reset the Pendulum Scale!" Yuto shouted as he set one of his original pendulum cards into the scale.

"Unholy Sorcerer's Pendulum Effect! I can special summon a DARK Xyz monster in my graveyard that's rank is in between the set scale! Ressurect, Dark Rebellion!" Yuto shouted as his ace dragon appeared once more.
"That dragon again..." Yellow 2 said
"With the set scale, I can summon monsters with levels 2 through 4! And with Lost Utilities Pendulum Effect, I can summon spell monsters! Pendulum Summon! Come forth my undead servant! Phantom Knights Shadow Veil!" Yuto cried as his spell monster appeared.

"Now Lost Utilites Pendulum Effect! I draw a card!" Yuto shouted drawing another card. He looked at the card that was also covered in a blue aura and his hair spiked up even more than usual. A dark aura surrounded him as his eyes glowed even more.
"It's time..." Yuya said before his look alike spoke.
"TO END YOU!" Yuto exclaimed.
"What the hell is wrong with these guys?!" Both Obelisk Force said.
"I activate the Ritual Spell Card Ritual of Apocalypse! Now I can ritual summon releasing monsters on my field whose levels are equal or higher! But if I have an Xyz Dragon on my field, I can treat monsters with ranks as having level equal to their ranks and I can release them! I release Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon treated as level 4 and Phantom Knights Shadow Veil!" Yuto shouted like a mad man as a alter appeared in front of him with a dark circle of blue flames and two torches with one orange and one purple flame.
"Dragon born from the raging flames of war, ressurect with a burning vengeance and destroy everything with your apocalyptic power! RITUAL SUMMON! Come forth! Level 8! DARK REBELLION APOCALYPSE DRAGON!" Yuto shouted with pure anger. A dragon the size of Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon appeared with two golden eyes. The dragon had sharp black armor with purple fire-like energy coursed through the dragon. The dragon had mechanical wings similar to Dark Rebellion but had golden orbs and purple blades attached to the wings. The dragon had a long tail with a purple blade at the end and had golden claws on each of it's hands while having purple blades on the dragon's knees and elbows. In the center of it's body, the dragon had a golden fiery orb and on it's face, it had fangs on it's chin similar to Dark Rebellion.
Dark Rebellion Apocalypse Dragon (3000/2500) LVL:8"Dark Rebellion Apocalype Dragon's effect! When this card is ritual summoned, all monsters on your field have their ATK halved and they have their effects negated! And then this card gets 400 ATK for each card effected! POWER ANNIHILATION!" The Dragon shot a powerful blast from the center of it's body that hit the two fusion monsters paralyzing then and forcing them to fall to the ground.

"Damn you...!" Green 2 said stepping back in fear.
"Since an Xyz monster was used to summon this monster, it can attack every monster that was effected by this card's first effect!" Yuto cried as his dragon began charging a powerful attack while spreading it's wings. The purple flame like energy that coursed through the armor began glowing even brighter.
"What?!" The Obelisk Force said in complete fear.

The dragon flew up in the air before shooting a powerful blast of purple and blue colored flames at the two who were incenerated and almost killed by the burning attack.

As the duel ended, the 6 Obelisk Force were returned to Academia due to the force return program. Even though mos tif their dark aura had faded away, both boys had glowing eyes and spiked up hair. They began walking towards the building of that Shun went into to duel Sora.
Gongenzaka and the rest had just gotten there and witnessed the end of the duel before watching the boys walk off.
"Do they plan to battle Shun?!" Gongenzaka said as Shun appeared in the door way of the distant building.
Both boys continued to walk forward with their eyes glued to the building that they didn't see the pillar falling on the side. Gongenzaka sprinted at full speed and extended his body over the two of them. Gongenzaka guarded the two with his back while holding the two on the ground as they screamed.
"Quick! Help me get them out of here!"
While all the previous events were happening...

After Dennis was knocked to the ground, Serena began walking towards the boy but Yuzu stepped in front of him.
"Move out of the way." Serena said but Yuzu didn't move.
"No! Serena, I won't let you make a mistake that will haunt you! Dennis isn't from Xyz!" Yuzu shouted at the girl.
"I don't care what you have to say." Serena shouted at the pink haired girl.
"In that case, I'll duel you!" Yuzu said activating her duel disk.
"Fine! I'll honor your fighting spirit by accepting this duel!" Serena said activating her own duel disk.
'Can I really do this? She defeated Dennis so easily and I could win against him...No! I have to win! I have to protect everyone!' Yuzu said strengthening her resolve.
"DUEL!"

"My turn! I activate the spell card Fusion! I'm not going to hold back! I fuse Moonlight Blue Cat and Moonlight Purple Butterfly in my hand! Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Butterfly with violet poison! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come to me! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Moonlight Cat Dancer!" Serena chanted as her ace monster appeared. The monster had pink hair and two different masks covering her eyes. She carried two long daggers and was wearing light blue clothing.

"Just like against Dennis..." Yuzu uttered.
"Make your move!" Serena shouted.
"Geez you really have no patience. My turn! I activate my own spell card Fusion!"
"So you use Fusion as well." Serena said.
"I fuse together Aria the Melodious Diva and Elegy the Melodious Diva in my hand! Echoing melodious voice! Flowing Melody! With guidance of the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now come here to the stage! Meisterin Schubert the Melodious Maestra!" Yuzu shouted as her fusion monster wearing red clothing and had long orange hair with a baton in her hand appeared.

"It's just as strong as my Cat Dancer..." Serena said.
"Schubert's effect! I can banish fusion materials in either players grave that were used for a players Fusion Summon! Now I banish your Blue Cat and Purple Butterfly in your graveyard! Chorus Break!" Yuzu shouted.
"Damn you..." Serena said.
"Also, Schubert gains 200 ATK for each card that was banished!" Yuzu explained.
Meisterin Schubert (2400/2000)-(2800/2000)
"Battle! Meisterin Schubert Attack Moonlight Cat Dancer! Wave of the Great!" Yuzu commanded her monster as it waved it's baron rapidly creating a red wave of music that consumed Cat Dancer.

"Trap Activate! Moonlight Reincarnation Dance! Since Cat Dancer was destroyed, I can add 2 Moonlight monsters from my deck to my hand!" Serena shouted as two cards popped out of her deck.
"I set one card face down. Turn end." Yuzu said.
"My turn!" Serena shouted eyeing the spell card that she drew. "Your Fusion Summoning isn't on the level of Academia's and I'll prove that to you right now! I summon Moonlight Silver Swan!" Serena shouted as a red version of Blue Cat appeared.

"When Silver Swan is summoned, I can look at the top 5 cards in my deck and add one Moonlight monster to my hand! I add White Rabbit to my hand! Next I activate the spell card Fusion Sage! I add a Fusion card to my hand! Next I activate the Spell Card Fusion! I fuse Silver Swan on my field with Black Sheep and White Rabbit in my hand!" Serena shouted.
"Another Fusion Summon?" Yuzu said before gulping out of nervousness.
"Swan that flies through the air, beast lurking in jet-black darkness, white rabbit that's illuminated by the moonlight, become one and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Moonlight Sabre Dancer!" Serena shouted as a lady with purple skin that had yellow and pink clothing and yellow hair carrying two sabers appeared.

"Woah..." Yuzu said looking at the monster in awe.
"Black Sheep's effect adds itself back to my hand! Next, Sabre Dancer gains 200 ATK for each Beast-Warrior type monster in my grave! I have 3 so that means she gains 600 ATK!" Serena explained.
Sabre Dancer (3000/2600)-(3600/2600)
"Battle! Sabre Dancer Attacks your monster! Eclipse Slash!" Serena commanded her monster.
"Trap activate! Binding Music! When a level 5 or higher Melodious monster on my field is attacked, I can target Schubert and your attacking monster which is Sabre Dancer and that monster can't attack and it has it's effects negated as long as Schubert is on my field!" Yuzu shouted.
"That won't work! Sabre Dancer can't be targeted by your card effects!" Serena countered.
"No way!" Yuzu shouted as her monster was destroyed by the Sabre Dancer's blade.
YUZU: 4000-3200 LP
"Turn end." Serena said as her monster returned to her side.
Dennis regained consciousness and saw that Yuzu was dueling Serena. 'Good, while they distract each other, the obelisk force should get here any minute.'
"Yuzu..." Dennis said to the girl who turned around.
"Dennis! I'm glad you're ok. Get going while I duel her!" Yuzu said.
"Don't worry Yuzu. I'll go get help!" Dennis said running off.
"Damn you! Now I have to find him again!" Serena shouted.
"Why do you want to hurt him so much?" Yuzu asked.
"I just prove myself to the professor by capturing the Xyz remnants in this dimension so I can become a warrior on the front lines for Academia." Serena said.
"But Dennis isn't a Xyz remnant. He's from this dimension!" Yuzu said.
"Liar!" Serena shouted back.
"Do you even know what your Academia has done to Heartland in the Xyz Dimension?!" Yuzu shouted at the girl.
"Of course I do." Serena said crossing her arms.
"Well your Academia is full of people that brutally defeat their opponents and laugh while carding them as if it was a hunting game!" Yuzu shouted but Serena ignored her.
"That's not true. The warriors of Academia were trained for the noble goal of uniting all of the worlds. And to do that, we need to card people." Serena explained.
"Nothing about that is noble! People from academia caused so much destruction and sadness!" Yuzu yelled back.
"Oh please. Xyz duelists have pride too. If they battled with all they had, then they should accept their fate when they are defeated." Serena said.
"Should they accept losing their families?" Yuzu shouted which caught the Moonlight user off guard.
"What are you talking about?" Serena asked in confusion.
"In heartland, Yuto's home, people's families are carded, people who don't even duel are even carded! How is that noble!" Yuzu shouted.
"What?!" Serena said taken back by her look alike's statement.
"You have to believe me." Yuzu pleaded.
"I-I...just take your turn!" Serena yelled.
"Fine! My turn! I summon Soprano the Melodious Songstress!" Yuzu shouted.

"Soprano's effect! I can perform a Fusion Summon using herself and Prodigy Mozart the Melodious Maestra! Angle's Song! Supreme Genius! Guided by the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now come to the stage and sing the song of victory! Level 6! Bloom Diva the Melodious Floral Saint!" Yuzu shouted as her ace fusion monster appeared.

"A fusion Summon through the effect of a monster...I underestimated you." Serena said.
"Battle! Bloom Diva Attack Santa Dancer! Bloom Diva can't be destroyed in battle by Special Summoned monsters and and I take no damage! Also, you take damage equal to the damage I would have taken and your monster is destroyed! The stage is set Bloom Diva! Reflect Shout!" Yuzu shouted as her monster's voice created a green wave of energy that consumed her opponents monster and knocked Serena back.

"Trap Activate! Moonlight Rebound! Since you destroyed Sabre Dancer, I can summon a Moonlight Fusion monster with a lower level in my graveyard! And then I gain life points equal t half of that monster's ATK!" Serena shouted as Cat Dancer appeared.

"I set one card face down, turn end." Yuzu said.
"My turn! I activate the spell card Pot of Greed! I draw 2! Moonlight Dissolve! I can banish a Moonlight Monster on my field or in my hand to add a Fusion Spell in my graveyard to my hand! Next I activate the spell card Fusion! I fuse Black Sheep and Cat Dancer! The beast lurking in the jet-black darkness! The beautiful wild beast that dances under the moonlight! Swarm in the vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! Moonlight Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted as the evolved form of her ace appeared.

"Next is the effect of Kaleido Chick that was banished! You can't activate your card's effects the turn this card was banished!" Serena shouted which shocked Yuzu.
"No way..." Yuzu uttered. "I can't lose like this! Continous Trap Activate! Melodious Defense! I can target a special summoned Melodious monster and it can't be destroyed by battle this turn! Also any damage I take is halved!" Yuzu shouted as a barrier formed around her monster.
"That won't help! I can still deal enough damage to end you! My monsters can attack every monster in your field twice and the first time she attacks your monster isn't destroyed! And then I'll banish Sabre Dancer in my graveyard to use it's effect! Panther Dancer gains 3000 ATK!"
Panther Dancer (2800/2000)-(5800/2000)
"Such a high amount of attack!" Yuzu said in awe.
"This is the end! Battle! Panther Dancer attacks Bloom Diva! Full Moon Burst!" Serena shouted as Panther Dancer charged a black sphere of energy in her hands and used it to attack the opposing monster.
"My Trap halves all damage I take!" Yuzu said as she was blown back hy the shockwave.
YUZU: 3200-800 LP
"This is the end! Attack again!" Serena shouted as this time, the fusion monster jumped up in the air diving down at the monster with her claws extended towards Bloom Diva.
"While I have 1000 life points or less and the equiped monster is attacked, I can send this card to the grave and negate damage!" Yuzu shouted the barrier around her monster disappeared and formed around her while her monster was destroyed.
"So you survived. Turn end." Serena said.
'Damn! I don't have any cards on my field. I can't give up! I have to win and show her what she's doing isn't right!' Yuzu's thought to herself. "My tur-"
Yuzu was about to start her turn but gasped when she saw multiple figures walking up behind Serena with blue uniforms and masks. "Obelisk Force!" Serena shouted.
Suddenly a smoke bomb was thrown which caused smoke to surround both girls as two figures appeared next to them and took each of their decks out of their duel disk causing the duel to end while carrying them off at amazing speed. The battle had just begun.

Alright Everybody! The battle against Academia has begun! Honestly, this was one of my favorite chapters to write so far. I hope throwing that twist with Yuto and Yuya getting ritual monsters in that duel was cool. I also hoped you guys liked Yuzu dueling Serena. It's a concept that I really wished happend in the anime. I wanted to leave it at a no conclusion but at this particular point in the anime, in my personal opinion, Serena was stronger than Yuzu because her fusion summoning was much stronger. Yuzu kinda relied on bloom diva and later bloom prima and then never dueled again which is what I'm going to fix about her. Annnd, I added evil Fubuki from GX into this fic! I love red eyes and he will get red eyes fusion monsters in this. I just really wanted more GX characters and tho I like Asuka in Arc V and Edo was a disappointment imo, I really wish we got some Red Eyes action so here he is!
