Yuzu was running through the frozen field with the clothing of Serena, hoping to draw the attention to her instead of her Fusion counterpart.
"Gee, where are all the-"
Suddenly, three Obelisk Force Soldiers surrounded the girl activating their duel disks. "Prepare to be defeated."
"You guys really don't mess around." Yuzu said to herself as she began to sweat. 'Why do I have to be so selfless by becoming bait to save a girl that was just previously a part of a school of killers? Oh well, I got myself into this mess, so I have to win!'
"Leave, now." A voice commanded which caused all the Obelisk Force to stutter in fear.
A teen with purple and pink hair walked out into view. He had purple uniform like clothing on with a red cape similar to how Yuya wears his jacket as a cape.
"Yuya...?" Yuzu said as a image of Yuya overlapped with the boys true image.
"Yuya...? How many times will I be called that name today." Yuri said. "Before you say anything else, I am not Yuya, Yuto, or Fusio-I mean Yugo. The other girls have called me different names aswell."
"Yuri...other girls...you're are the one who kidnapped them!" Yuzu realized.
"That's correct. Obelisk Force, leave. I will deal with her." Yuri ordered.
"But we were ordered to capture Serena..." One of them said nervously.
"Did I stutter? I should card you just for questioning me. This is Yuzu Hiiragi, she swapped clothes with Serena. Now go be useful and find her before I card all of you." Yuri said with a cold tone as they all nervously ran away, leaving the two alone. "I am so sorry for them. They are all idiots."
"...so you are here to kidnap me." Yuzu said.
"That is correct~" Yuri said. "Now are you going to come quietly, or are we going to have to take the hard way."
"You...took Rin and Ruri away from their lives...the ones they love...how dare you!" Yuzu shouted activating her pink blade on her duel disk.
"I was hoping you'd do that. Please try to entertain me more than the other people in this dimension." Yuri said.
"You dueled others?!" Yuzu asked concerned for her friends.
"Take a look." Yuri said throwing three cards at the ground. She looked at the cards that each had a face of a competitor in the battle royale. Halil, Umesugi, and Takeda.
"You...carded them...!" Yuzu uttered.
"Yeah, they were in my way. So, I defeated them." Yuri bluntly said.
"You killed innocent people, and kidnapped others innocent people! I'll defeat for all the people you hurt!" Yuzu shouted activating her duel disk.
"This duel will be your last...so give it your best!" Yuri taunted the pink haired girl.

"I'm taking the first turn! I summon Predator Plants Cephalotusnail!" Yuri shouted as a plant with a white body and mouth with sharp teeth appeared next to himself.

"My turn! I'll revenge the Ruri and Rin! I activate the spell card Ancient Rules! Now I can special summon a Level 7 or Higher monster in my hand! So I summon Prodigy Mozart the Melodious Maestra!" Yuzu shouted as her ace monster appeared.

"Next is her effect! I can special summon Aria the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu shouted as the red diva appeared.

"Next, I tribute Aria to Summon Elegy the Melodious Diva! And while she's in the field, both of my monsters gain 300 ATK!" Yuzu shouted as the green haired diva appeared.

"Battle! Mozart Attack! Graceful Wave!" Yuzu commanded her monster who waved her baton and shot a powerful blast of wind towards the plant.
"My monster can't be destroyed by battle and the damage is halved as long as it's in Attack Position!" Yuri explained as a shockwave caused Yuri to flinch.

"Then go Elegy!" Yuzu shouted.

"Nicely done Yuzu~" Yuri said clapping his hands together.
"I-I end my turn." Yuzu said confused by the boy's attitude.
"My turn! Time to have some fun! I activate the spell card Fusion! I fuse my Predator Plants Easter Lily Lizard in my hand with my Cephalotusnail on my field!" Yuri shouted as his Tsk plants began to swirl in the fusion vortex. "Two beautiful plants with a insect alluring fragrance! Now become one and bring forth the plant of pure horror! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Predator Plants Chimeraflessia!" Yuri shouted with a grin as a large and menacing plant monster appeared beside Yuri.

"When Chimeraflessia is Fusion Summoned, I can banish a monster with a level that is less or equal to this card's level. So say goodbye to Elegy!" Yuri shouted as the monster grabbed the diva and threw it into it's mouth.
"What?!" Yuzu shouted in horror.
Prodigy Mozart (2900/2000)-(2600/2000)
"Battle! Chimeraflessia Attack!" Yuri shouted as his monster as a the monster shot it's vine that had a flytrap head on it towards the more powerful monster.
"Why are you doing that?!" Yuzu said in confusion.
"Because when my monster attacks another monster, it gains 1000 ATK while the opposing monster loses 1000 ATK!" Yuri shouted.

Prodigy Mozart (2600/2000)-(1600/2000)
Yuzu panicked as the attack was about to hit. She quickly glanced at her left and a Action Card came into view. She instantly dove to her side grabbing the card. "Action Card Miracle! I negate destruction and the damage is halved!"

"Impressive instincts. I set one card and end my turn." Yuri said as both monster's ATK returned to normal.
"My turn! I activate the spell card Fusion!" Yuzu shouted.
"Fusion, eh? You have good taste." Yuri said.
"I fuse Mozart and the Canon Melodious Diva in my hand! Supreme Prodigy! Supreme Genius! With the guidance of the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now come here to the stage! Sing the song of victory! Bloom Diva the Melodious Floral Saint!" Yuzu shouted as the fusion monster appeared.
Bloom Diva the Melodious Floral Saint (1000/2000) LVL:6
"Battle! Bloom Diva Attack!" Yuzu shouted as her monster got close to the opposing plant monster which shot forwards one of it's fly trap vines at the monster.
"But that monster has a effect that will do some damage, right?" Yuri said with a strangely excited tone.
"Y-Yeah! When Bloom Diva Attacks, she isn't destroyed and I don't take any damage. And then you take any damage I would have taken! Go! Reflect Shout!" Yuzu shouted as her monster began singing creating a blast of green wind like energy that consumed the plant and caused Yuri to be hit by a powerful shockwave.

"Take that! I end my turn." Yuzu shouted with a victorious smile as the boy regained his composure.
"You sure are interesting, Yuzu. My turn! Now after the turn Chimeraflessia was destroyed, I can add a Fusion card to my hand." Yuri explained as a card popped out of Yuri's deck.
"It had another effect?!" Yuzu said shocked.
"Now I activate the spell card Predator Wave! I can target a Predator Plants Fusion monster that was destroyed during the previous turn and summon it's Fusion Materials to my field that were Predator Plants! I can now target Chimeraflessia to summon it's fusion materials." Yuri shouted as his two plants reappered.
"This can't be good..." Yuzu uttered which caused Yuri to laugh.
"You are right! Easter Lily Lizard's effect lets me draw a card when it's summoned from the grave! I now activate the Spell Card Fusion! I now fuse my two Predator Plants! Two beautiful plants with a insect alluring fragrance! Now become one, and from the hell beneath your petals, give birth to a new terror! Fusion Summon! Come Forth! Level 8! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri shouted as a purple dragon with a large green tail that extended from it's lower body and multiple yellow and red orbs on it's body appeared with a loud and ferocious roar.

"What is that monster..." Yuzu said in horror.
"I'm glad you like him. He's my favorite monster after all! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon's Effect! When my dragon is summoned only using cards on the field as Fusion Materials, it gains ATK equal to the ATKs of all special summoned monsters on my opponent's field!" Yuri explained.
Starve Venom (2800/2000)-(3800/2000)
"But Bloom Diva's effect will deal you even more damage now!" Yuzu shouted but Yuri began to laugh.
"HeheheHAHAHA! Is that what you think! I activate the second effect of Starve Venom! It can negate and steal the effect's of a level 5 or higher monster on your field! Noxious Drain!" Yuri shouted as the dragon shot forwards a vine that wrapped around the Melodious monster causing it to weaken.
"What?!" Yuzu uttered in horror as she took a step back.
"Battle! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon Attack! Venomous Root Burst!" Yuri commanded his monster as it extended multiple dark red roots out of it's back that went forward and wrapped around Yuzu's Monster. The dragon shot a blast of energy from it's mouth that went towards the monster at incredible speed.
"AHHHH!" Yuzu shouted as her monster was obliterated causing her to be sent flying from the attack causing her to hit the icy ground extremely hard.

"I...won't...give up..." Yuzu said as she slowly got up.
"You sure are amazing! Taking an attack like that and still thinking you have a chance in this duel! You sure have a lot of resolve! Turn end." Yuri said to the girl in a childish yet sadistic tone.
"I can't lose...I won't! I must win! My turn!" Yuzu shouted drawing. She looked at the card and a smile grew on her face. "Alright! With this, I can win this and take you down, Yuri! I summon Soprano the Melodious Songstress!"

"Next I activate the Equip spell card Conductor's Return! I can special summon a Level 7 or higher Melodious Monster from my graveyard! so come back Prodigy Mozart!" Yuzu shouted as her ace reappeared. "Next is effect of Soprano! I can now fuse both of my monster's together!" Yuzu shouted.
"A Fusion Summon without a Fusion card! Amazing!" Yuri said with a childish tone.
"Angel's song! Supreme Genius! By the guidance of the baton, assemble your power. Fusion Summon! Now on stage, the song of passion! Bloom Prima the Melodious Floral Saint!" Yuzu shouted as a small blue haired monster with a yellow and dark blue dress with a dark blue flower next to each of her shoulders appeared.
Bloom Prima the Melodious Floral Saint (1900/2000) LVL:7
"Bloom Prima's effect! it gains 300 ATK for each of it's Fusion Materials! And then I'll use the effect of Conductor's Return! When the equiped monster is used as Fusion Material for a Melodious Monster, the Fusion Summoned Monster gains ATK equal to the Level of the equiped monster times 100! so she'll gain 800 ATK from this effect and 600 ATK from her own effect!" Yuzu shouted as her monster began singing a tune while it powered up.
Bloom Prima (1900/2000)-(3300/2000)
"So you managed to power up your monster this much..." Yuri said.
"Next, while I can banish Conductor's Return along with a Melodious Monster from the extra deck, Bloom Diva, to draw 1 card! Battle! Go Bloom Prima! Attack Starve Venom Fusion Dragon! Harmonic Sound Wave!" Yuzu shouted as her monster shot soundwaves out from her flowers that hit the venemous dragon causing it to snarl and growl before being destroyed.
YURI: 1200-700 LP
"Alright! My monster can make two attacks per battle phase! This is the end!" Yuzu shouted but was interrupted by laughing.
"HeheheHAHAHA! Amazing! You managed to destroy my dragon! But can you survive this?" Yuri said in a childish tone as a puddle of venom appeared where the dragon was destroyed.
"What is this?!" Yuzu said in fear.
"It's Starve Venom's final effect! When destroyed, all of your special summoned monsters are destroyed and you take damage equal to their combined ATKs!" Yuri shouted as the venom from the puddle shot towards Yuzu's monster.
"I refuse to lose like this! I activate the Quick Play Spell Melodic Guardian! When I would take damage while I have less than 1000 life points, I can target one Melodious monster in my grave and the damage I'm about to take is reduced by the targets level times 400! So I reduce the damage by 3200!" Yuzu shouted as the spirit of her ace appeared in front of her protecting her from the attack.

"Wow, I thought for sure you'd lose this turn." Yuri said with a sadistic grin.
"I end my turn...and through the effect of Melodic Guardian, during the end phase of the turn this card was activated, if I have no monsters on my field, I can banish this card to summon the monster that was targeted by the this card's first effect in defense position. So come back to me, Prodigy Mozart!" Yuzu shouted as her ace reappeared.

"Wow, I applaud you for your efforts but it is all futile in the end. I'm sorry but I must be taking you to Academia now or the professor will be angry. My turn!" Yuri shouted drawing his card. "I activate the Spell Card Monster Reborn! So come back to me Starving Venom!"

"I won't take any damage from your dragon's attack since my monster is in defense position!" Yuzu shouted at the boy who just grinned.
"True, but that won't matter. I activate Double Fusion Revival! Both players must pick a Fusion Monster in their graveyards and summon it! But they can't activate their effects until the end of this turn! So I bring back Chimeraflessia since it is the only other Fusion Monster in my graveyard." Yuri said as his previous Fusion Monster appeared.

"Since Bloom Prima is the only Fusion in my graveyard I special summon her but in defense position!" Yuzu shouted as the blue haired Melodious monster appeared.
Bloom Prima the Melodious Floral Saint (1900/2000) LVL:7
"Now it's time to show you my plan! Starve Venom's effect! I negate and steal Bloom Prima's effect until the end of this turn! Noxious Drain!" Yuri exclaimed.
"That means you will be able to attack twice with Starve Venom...which means I will lose..." Yuzu uttered in horror and defeat.
"Oh don't be sad, Yuzu. Though I don't know about Rin since I captured her without a duel disk, you did a lot better than Ruri since you managed to destroy my dragon once! Although her strategy didn't really involve destroying my monster which led to her defeat. But you were much more fun! You even made me hold back a little less than usual! You should be proud!" Yuri said with a grin.
"You...monster!" Yuzu said in fear of the boy.
"Monster? You flatter me. I'm much worse than that. Battle! Go Chimeraflessia! Attack Bloom Prima!" Yuri commanded his monster as it destroyed the small Fusion monster.
"I know your hungry Starve Venom, so devour your prey! Attack Prodigy Mozart!" Yuri commanded his monster as his monster whipped its tail around busting a while through Yuzu's ace monster.
"Mozart!" Yuzu screamed at the sight of her monster being destroyed.
"This is the end, Yuzu. Now go Starve Venom! Direct Attack! But don't hurt her, we need her in once piece." Yuri told his monster who nodded whipping it's tail around it's body causing it to go directly at Yuzu.
Yuzu braced herself for the attack by putting both of her arms in front of her face. As the attack made contact with Yuzu she heard a small cracking sound as she was sent flying through the air.

Yuzu hit the icy ground hard causing her to slide pretty far which created some distance between her and Yuri. As she got up, she quickly looked where she heard the crack. She knew it wasn't a bone because she would be feeling a lot more pain.
'No...' She thought to herself as she saw what broke and it was much worse than a broken bone. 'My bracelet...it's cracked.' She felt like something broke deep in her mind. The pink gem in her bracelet, the bracelet that she had owned since birth, had a crack down the middle of it. Yuzu felt like something was deeply wrong, like the end of he world was now going to happen because of her broken bracelet.
"Hey, Yuzu! It's time to go now. The Professor is waiting for us." Yuri said with an evil smile as he began to walk towards the girl.
'You need to run!' A voice in Yuzu's mind shouted at her. She began to get up but her whole body was in pain. She saw that the boy closing in on her and she began to panic even more. 'Run Yuzu! You have to Run! If you get captured everything is lost! RUN!' The voice spoke again. Something in Yuzu's minds snapped as she got up and began sprinting for her life as if she wasn't badly hurt.
"Running, eh? Ruri and Rin tried doing the same thing and look what happend to them!" Yuri shouted as he began to chase the girl.
A while later in the Jungle Area
"Gah!" Yuya shouted as he woke up. He saw that Yugo was up aswell and moved towards him.
"Mornin' Yuya." Yugo said to the boy.
"Hey Yugo. You feeling better?" Yuya asked.
"Yep! A lot better actually!" Yugo said cheerfully.
"Good. I'm glad you are ok after that duel." Yuya said.
"Yeah...I can't believe I lost...but you won atleast. How did you win anyway?" Yugo asked t
"I...remember when I dueled you?" Yuya asked the boy.
"Uhh yeah." Yugo responded.
"And remember when you knocked out Yuto and I...snapped?" Yuya asked again.
"Ugh don't remind me." Yugo said. "Using your dragons and a brand new pair of magicians, you summoned a new scary dragon that beat me."
"Well...that was what happened after you were defeated." Yuya said which suprised Yugo.
"Wait, what?!" Yugo shouted but Yuya quickly shushed him since the others were still sleeping.
"Yeah, look." Yuya said pulling out 3 cards. He showed him his two new magician's and his new hybrid dragon.
"Hope Magician, Destiny Magician, and Odd Eyes Wing Dragon! Woah, so you really did get yourself a Synchro Pendulum monster! It sure does look like Clear Wing." Yugo noticed.
"Yeah it does. It definitely isn't as scary as Odd Eyes Rebellion. Anyways, look through your deck. You'll probably find some new pendulums." Yuya said thinking back when the same thing happened to Yuto.
"Wow!" Yugo exclaimed like a child on Christmas Day. He looked through his deck and saw multiple Pendulum Monsters which caused him to get excited. He then looked through his extra deck and saw his new dragon. "Clear Wing Fast Dragon...so cool!"
"Yeah, it sure has a powerful effect. My Meteorburst does aswell!" Yuya said pulling out his new monster.
"Even with this...that guy was still able to almost beat both of us." Yugo said.
"Yeah, but now that we have evolved again, we'll surely be able to pull off any victory!" Yuya said with a smile.
"You are right!" Yugo said. "If we keep evolving like this we'll beat guys like Darkness and destroy Academia!"
"Yeah! Speaking of evolving, Yuto and I even gained Ritual Summoning somehow." Yuya said to the boy.
"Ritual?! I sure have to catch up to you guys." Yugo said looking at Yuya and then turning over to Yuto, or where he thought Yuto was. "Hey, where's Yuto?"
"What?! Has he been gone this whole time! How did you not notice?!" Yuya shouted at Yugo.
"I don't know! I wasn't really paying attention!" Yugo replied.
"Hey Yuya, what's going on." Michio said as himself, Teppei, and Gongenzaka had just gotten up.
"We don't know where Yuto went!" Yuya explained in a worried tone.
"Not only that, where is Mieru?" Gongenzaka asked.
"She told me last night that she would wake up early to go get ingredients for breakfast since she wasn't participating." Michio explained.
"We have to find them!" Yuya said to the others.
"Fine, we will split up and look for both of them." Gongenzaka said.
"Fine, I guess we'll help you guys. Michio and I will head towards that Volcano area while you guys head to the Icebergs area." Teppei explained as the others nodded.
With Yuya's group, a few minutes after running off, they ran into a familiar face. "Hey Yuya!" Dennis shouted running towards the group.
"Dennis? Where did you come from?" Yuya asked.
"I just had a spectacular duel with Yuzu." Dennis said.
"Yuzu?! Where?!" Yuya shouted at the boy.
"Well I just saw her in the icebergs. I'll take you there if you want." Dennis told the boy.
"Please!" Yuya said with a rushing tone.
"What about Yuto?" Yugo asked.
"He might be with Yuzu right now, so we might be able to find both of them!" Yuya explained.
"Then let's go!" Dennis said leading the group.
Meanwhile in the Iceberg Area
"You have my praise. It's truly amazing how you have managed to run away from me this long. It's morning for crying out loud and we are still playing hide and seek. But sadly for you, this game will be coming to an end soon." Yuri said as a shadow of his ace apeared behind him with a loud roar that shook the ice.
A piece of ice fell right next to Yuzu where she was hiding causing her to scream but she quickly put her hands over her mouth. "Found you~"
Yuri jumped down so he was now facing Yuzu who was backed against a large mountain of ice. "No..."
"Yes! It's time to go to Academia~" Yuri sneered walking closer.
"I won't let you take her away!" A figure shouted while jumping down from the top of the ice mountain and landed right in the middle of the other two.
Yuzu immediately noticed who the person was and a smile grew on her face. "Y-Yuto!"
"Who?" Yuri said with an annoyed expression.
"How did you get here?" Yuzu asked.
"Well, I was with Yuya, Yugo, Gongenzaka and some others, but I woke up and realized that you were still alone out here. And after hearing a loud explosion, I ran hear." Yuto explained.
"Ooh, looks like we got a knight in shinning armor!" Yuri laughed.
"I won't let you hurt her or take her away! Not this time!" Yuto shouted thinking of Ruri.
"What? Is she your girlfriend or something." Yuri said.
"No, she is a great friend to me. The one I love is Ruri! And you took her away from me!" Yuto shouted in anger.
"Well if you loved her so much then why did you let her be taken?" Yuri asked with a evil grin.
Yuri's words pierced right through his Xyz look alike's heart. "Yuzu...get out of here."
"But I can't just leave you!" Yuzu said to the boy.
"Fine, stay and watch me kill this psychopath!" Yuto shouted in pure anger as he readied his duel dusk.
"Yuto...?!" Yuzu uttered with a suprised tone.
"Fine, I'll just card you and take her just like I took Ruri~" Yuri taunted.
"I'll kill you before you get the chance!" Yuto shouted with faintly glowing eyes.

"I'll be nice and let you take the first turn." Yuri said to his opponent.
"Fine. My turn! I set 2 cards facedown and end my turn." Yuto shouted.
"That sure was quick. My turn! I summon Predator Plants Cephalotusnail!" Yuri shouted as the plant appeared.

"The same monster as last time!" Yuzu said.
"Battle! Cephalotusnail direct attack!" Yuri commanded his monster.
"Double Trap Open! Phantom Knights Lost Vambrace! I can summon them as monsters in attack postition and they can't be destroyed this turn. Also, your monster will lose 600 ATK for each one!" Yuto shouted as his two monsters appeared.

"Interesting tactic, but you are going to regret doing that!" Yuri shouted causing Yuto to be concerned.
"Why is that?!" Yuto yelled.
"Just watch! I discard one card from my hand...to activate the Quick Play Spell Super Fusion!" Yuri shouted as a card with a blue vortex and a bright light in the middle appeared infront of him. Suddenly, the sky above the two boys became dark and cloudy.
"What is this?!" Yuzu said concerned for her friend.
Yuto didn't look too concerned as usual but Yuri noticed this and began laughing. "Act tough all you want, it won't change the outcome of this duel. Super Fusion let's me use monsters on either player's field for a Fusion Summon!" Yuri explained with a sinister grin.
"On either players field...?" Yuzu uttered.
"I'm going to use your two monsters! Two warriors consumed by the shadows! Now become one, and give birth to a new terror! Fusion Summon! Come Forth! Level 8! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri shouted as a purple dragon with a large green tail that extended from it's lower body and multiple yellow and red orbs on it's body appeared with a loud and ferocious roar.

"Not that dragon!" Yuzu said in fear.
Yuto looked down as he clenched his fists which was just the reaction Yuri was looking for. "Aww, what's wrong? Did using your monsters to summon my dragon strike a nerve or something?"
"Shut up! I'll make you pay for using my monsters...for a Fusion...!" Yuto shouted trying to control his boiling rage.
"Since it's still my battle phase, Starve Venom can deal some damage! Go, direct attack!" Yuri commanded his monster as it shot a green blast towards Yuto.
YUTO: 4000-1200 LP
"Gah!" Yuto yelled as he was blown back by the attack.
"Yuto!" Yuzu began running towards her friend.
"Stay back!" Yuto shouted at the girl as he slowly got up.
"So I didn't knock all of your fighting spirit out yet? Good, it would have been a waste of time if you broke so soon. Turn end." Yuri said to his look alike.

The two boys stood their for a moment before both of them felt a sharp pain in their hearts.
"What...is...this?" Yuri uttered through the pain.
"This...is like before..." Yuto said clenching his chest as he remembered something similar happening in his duel with Yugo.
"Yuto!" Yuzu said beginning to run over to the boy who looked like he was in a lot of pain. But before she could reach him, his head swung around revealing his blank eyes that were glowing blue similar to when he dueled Yugo. Yuzu gasped at the sight of her friend going berserk. She then looked at Yuri who's eyes were also glowing like Yuto's but his eyes were purple.
"I will defeat you...and then we will become one!" Yuto shouted.
"That's not true! Once I destroy you, I'll be becoming one with you!" Yuri shouted back.
"What is going on...become one...?" Yuzu said in confusion and fear.
"Dark Rebellion's effect! By using both of it's overlay units, a level 5 or higher monster has it's attack halved and my dragon gains the lost amount. And that effects applies for each overlay unit meaning twice! TREASON DISCHARGE!" Yuto shouted as the dragon shot purple electricity from it's wings that wrapped around the Fusion Dragon.

"Battle! Dark Rebellion attack Predator Plants Cephalotusnail and end this duel! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!" Yuto shouted as his monster's fangs charged the weakened plant with glowing fangs.
"No Yuto!" Yuzu warned but it was too late.
"Idiot! Cephalotusnail's effect! The damage is halved and my plant isn't destroyed while this card is in attack mode!" Yuri countered as he was hit by a shockwave.

"Tch, I end my turn with one card face down." Yuto said as the ATKs of the survives reining
"Haha! My turn! It's time to crush all your hope! Battle! Starve Venom attack Dark Rebellion! Venomous Root Burst!" Yuri shouted.
"I won't let you! Trap Activate! Phantom Knights Fog Blade! Now your monster can't attack or be attack and it has it's effects negated!" Yuto countered.
"Tsk, I switch my plant to defense position, turn end." Yuri concluded.
"My turn! Battle! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon Attack Cephalotusnail! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!" Yuto shouted as his monster destroyed the plant. "Turn end!"
"My turn! I set one card face down. Turn end." Yuri said.
"This duel is over! My turn! I activate Pot of Greed! I draw 2! I activate the Quick Play Spell Emergency Provisions! I destroy Fog Blade and gain 1000 lifepoints!" Yuto shouted has his trap was destroyed.

"Now I can destroy you! I activate the spell card Overlay Regen! Since I control a Xyz monster, the top card of my deck becomes a overlay unit for Dark Rebellion!" Yuto shouted.

"If Yuto uses Dark Rebellion's effect again, he can win!" Yuzu said to herself.
"Go Dark Rebellion! TREASON DISCHARGE!" Yuto shouted.

"Battle! Destroy that dragon, Dark Rebellion! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!" Yuto commanded his dragon.
"HeheheHAHAHA! Continous Trap Activate! Dragon's Creeping Plant!" Yuri shouted as a trap with a dragon like plant on it appeared. Vines shot out of the card that wrapped around Dark Rebellion and pulled the dragon to Yuri's side.
"What's going on?!" Yuto yelled.
"Since I control a dragon-type monster, This card lets me take control of a dragon-type monster on your field that doesn't have the highest level! But, since your monster has rank, it doesn't matter!" Yuri shouted as the two dragons roared on his side of the field.
"N-No way..." Yuzu said in horror.
"How dare you! I'll make you pay for taking my dragon! Turn end." Yuto said as his eyes glowed even more.
"My turn! Battle! Dark Rebellion, finish him off! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!" Yuri shouted with a sadistic grin as Yuto's dragon charged at him.
"I activate the effect of Phantom Knights Torn Cape in my hand! I special summon it to take the attack!" Yuto shouted as the monster appeared infront of him.

"Then destroy that pathetic monster!" Yuri commanded as the dark dragon ripped through the monster.
"Obliterate him, Starve Venom! Venomous Root Burst!" Yuri shouted.
"Yuto!" Yuzu shouted in fear.
For a split second, Yuto's original eyes appeared as he looked around his surroundings. But then his berserk state took over as he ran and dove at an incredible speed.
"Action Spell Damage Banish!" Yuto shouted.
"Damn, using Action Cards, that's annoying. Turn End." Yuri said with an annoyed look.
"Yuto! Snap out of it!" Yuzu shouted at the Phantom Knights user.
"Shut up! I must destroy him!" Yuto shouted in anger.
"Yuto...would Ruri want you to be like this?" Yuzu asked.
"Ruri...ngh!" Yuto shouted clenching his head. Suddenly, memories of Ruri flooded into his head. His eyes started switching from completely blue to grey.
"She wouldn't want you to become a monster!" Yuzu yelled.
"I..." Yuto struggles to speak as his eyes continued to blink. "I have to win..."
"Yuto, please! Don't let your anger consume you!" Yuzu pleaded.
"Hurry up!" Yuri impatiently shouted.
Yuto closed his eyes before opening them revealing his grey eyes. "Thanks Yuzu."
"Are you done? I am getting bored. Just hurry up so I can destroy you." Yuri said with glowing eyes.
"I still haven't forgiven you for taking Ruri. I'll defeat you right now! My...TURN!" Yuto shouted as he drew. "I activate the effect of Fragile Armor in my grave, I banish it and discard a card to draw once more!"
"So what?" Yuri said.
"Just what I needed. First I activate the spell card Pot of Darkness! I banish Clove Helm and Silent Boots I just discarded to draw 2! Next, I activate the spell card Quick Play Spell Cyclone! Now your Dragon's Creeping Plant is destroyed!" Yuto shouted as a black cyclone destroyed the trap which resulted in Dark Rebellion's return.
"What?!" Yuri said.
"Next, I activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knights Launch! I rank up Dark Rebellion using this card and my dragon as material! From the depth of purgatory, sing the song of rebellion dedicated to the restless souls! Let it echo for all eternity and appear! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his evolved ace appeared.

"That's a nice dragon, I'll be taking it once I destroy you!" Yuri said with a sadistic grin and glowing eyes.
"You wish! Dark Requiem's effect! By using an overlay unit, your monster's ATK is reduced to 0! And then my dragons gains ATK equal to your monster's original attack! REQUIET DISCHARGE!" Yuto shouted.

"Battle! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon attack Starve Venom Fusion Dragon! Requiest Disastor Disobey!" Yuto commanded his monster as it flew up into the air. The dragon opened it's beautiful wings as it gathered energy and flew down at the opposing dragon with great speed.
"I wont lose just yet! I activate the Trap Card Predabarrier! When a fusion monster is attacked, I can send I can banish a Predator Plants monster in my grave to negate that damage!" Yuri shouted as a barrier formed around him while his dragon was destroyed. "Then, I can add a level 4 or lower Predator Plants monster to my hand! Next, since you destroyed Starve Venom, it's effect activates! All your special summoned monsters are destroyed and you take damage equal to their ATK points!"
"Not so fast! I use Dark Requiem's other effect! By using an overlay unit, that effect is negated and I can revive Dark Rebellikn in my graveyard!" Yuto countered.

"If Yuto attacks, he can win..." Yuzu said to herself.
"Dark Rebellion! Avenge Ruri and all our lost comrades! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!" Yuto shouted as his dragon charged at Yuri.
"Am I...losing?" Yuri said to himself as the dragon attack got closer. "HeheHAHA! I activate the effect of Predator Plants Predariboh in my hand! By sending it to the graveyard, I can negate a direct attack!" Yuri shouted as the green plantlike Kuriboh appeared infront of him taking the attack.
"N-No way..." Yuzu gasped. "He regained control of himself and didn't miss a beat."
"Turn end." Yuto said as his dragons returned to his side.
"HAHAHA! This duel has been so much fun~!" Yuri said with a sadistic grin. "That power I felt was great, but I want to win this duel with my own power. My turn!"
"This guy is insane..." Yuzu uttered.
"I banish Predariboh in my graveyard to special summon a DARK Fusion monster! So come back, Starve Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri shouted as his monster returned.
"Not that dragon again..." Yuto said to himself.
"Next I activate the Equip spell card Predator Graft! I special summon Predator Plants Darling Cobra from my graveyard that I discarded with the effect of Super Fusion in ATK mode and equip it with this card!" Yuri yelled as the plant appeared.

"And when Darling Cobra is special summoned, I can add a Fusion card from my deck to my hand!" Yuri said with a smile showing the Xyz remnant the card.
"Another Fusion..." Yuto said anger in his voice.
"This can't be good." Yuzu gulped.
"You showed my your dragon's evolved form...SO I'LL SHOW YOU MINE! I activate the spell card Fusion! I fuse my beloved Starving Venom Fusion Dragon with Darling Cobra!" Yuri shouted as his two monsters began to rise into the Fusion vortex.
"You're fusing your Dragon..." Yuto uttered.
"...With your Plant?" Yuzu finished.
"Poisonous Dragon with hungry fangs! Sweet smelling flower that invites the abyss! Now become one, and indulge in whatever pleases you! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri shouted. A white and purple dragon with red horns and large red and yellow orbs with smaller blue orbs on it's body appeared with a ferocious roar.
Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon (3300/2500) LVL:10
"What is that dragon...!" Yuzu gasped at the sight of the terrifying dragon.
"Another Fusion..." Yuto said with even more anger in his voice. Dark Requiem's began to growl and roar at the evolved Fusion Dragon who returned the favor.
"I knew you'd like my dragon~" Yuri laughed causing Yuto to be more angery. "Honestly, this has been one of my favorite duels, but it has to come to an end. I activate Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon effect! I target one monster on your field and it's ATK is reduced to 0 and it's effects are negated! I choose Dark Requiem! Essence Consumption!" Yuri shouted as multiple vines shot out of the dragon and attached themselves to the dragon as purple energy surrounded the dragon causing it to weaken.
Dark Requiem (3000/2500)-(0/2500)
"Dark Requiem!" Yuto shouted in concern as his dragon roared in pain.
"Carding an Xyz runaway and capturing one of the girls in just one mission! What a day! BATTLE! Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon, attack Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon! DROWNING VENOM STREAM!" Yuri shouted as his monster's charged at violet blast of energy and fired it directly at the evolved Xyz Dragon who was too weak to even move.
"Yuto!" Yuzu shouted in fear.
"I...am not giving up! I activate the effect of Phantom Knights Haunted Armor in my graveyard that was detached as an overlay unit due to the effect of Overlay Regen! I banish it to halve the damage!" Yuto shouted as a semi barrier formed around him while his dragon was disentegrated by the blast. But, Yuto was still knocked back due to the shock wave of the explosion.
YUTO: 2200-550 LP
"You sure have some tenacity, don't you. Turn End." Yuri said with a smile. It was almost glad that the due was continuing.
"Yuto, are you ok?" Yuzu shouted running over to the boy.
"I am ok, Yuzu...but I have to keep fighting..." Yuto said to the girl as he slowly got up.
'I have to join!' Yuzu thought to herself.
'No! If you lose, all hope is lost!' Another voice spoke to her in her head causing her to second guess herself.
"Yuzu/Yuto!" Two voices yelled that Yuzu immediately recognized, Yuya and Yugo. Something snapped in Yuzu's mind as she began to panic. But why? She should be happy. Her friends were here. Her boyfriend was here. But no. She knew something horrible was about to happen.
"I must use the last of my power...to save all the dimensions!"
Without thinking, Yuzu ran infront of Yuto towards the Academia duelist and raised her bracelet that gave off a very dim pink light that began to get brighter as the other two boys arrived.
Suddenly, a blinding pink light enveloped the field...
Annnnnd done! That sure was a extremely important chapter to the rest of the story that you should totally make sure you didn't skip because of the major plot twist that happend. Sorry for the cliff hanger!
First off, I hope y'all liked this chapter because I spent a good amount of time writing it the past few days. I hope you all like the plot twist that Yuzu's bracelet cracked which did something to her powers. And I hope we all know that Ray was the one talking to Yuzu. My thing is that if Zarc can do that kind of stuff like influence the boys and create new cards, why can't Ray do the same. And I just want to clarify, THE BRACELET DOESN'T CONNECT THE BRACELET GIRLS TO RAY, atleast not in my version of the story. THEY JUST GIVE THEM THE POWER TO KEEP ZARC FROM RETURNING! I just wanted to get that out.
Regarding the first duel, I refer to Prodigy Mozart as Yuzu's ace, and in this story, it will remain that way. I know most people think of Bloom Diva as her ace, but Yuzu is the standard counterpart of Ray, meaning her ace monster wouldn't be a Fusion monster like Bloom Diva. This is my story and I'm not going off of the anime. I'm going to refer to Bloom Diva as Yuzu's Fusion Ace monster, since that is the Fusion Monster she summons the most. I also hope you don't mind me adding Bloom Prima I'm so early, but I thought the card would be a good fit for this duel. I also hope you liked the way Yuri defeated Yuzu because I got inspiration from the way Yuri defeated Yugo using his own monster's effect so I did the same in this duel.
Regarding the second duel, both boys went Berserk! In this story, there will be different stages of their state. One of those stages is when Yuya goes red eyes and his hair goes a bit up, like against Kachidoki. I guess it is the enraged state. After that, like when Yuya's hair spiked up after Yuto was defeated and he used Yuto's power and when Yugo was defeated and his hair spiked up and he used Yugo's power, which is like the revenge state. Next is when Yuya and Yuto synchronized against Obelisk Force while both of their eyes were glowing and both of their hairs were sticking directly up so they were identical, which would be like the synchronized state. Then finally, their is the we will become one state where their eyes go completely blank like when Yugo dueled Yuto in the anime and when Yuya was dueling Crow and Yugo and Yuri's Eyes went blank in the anime. I'm probably going to make changes to this at some point but just a quick explanation. Yuto will probably being using Dark Anthelion and Dark Apocalypse in his next duel, I just wanted both boys to focus on their Zarc Dragons.
