Three teens, Yuzu, Yuto, and Yugo were walking through the streets of Miami City towards the huge LDS tower. After a few days of rest, the three were in great condition and were ready to take on anything. The reason why Yuya wasn't with him was because he was going to have to duel his mom, Yoko.
"Hey Yuzu, is Yuya's Mom a strong duelist?" Yugo asked.
"I would assume so. I can't recall ever seeing her duel before, but she is the mother and wife of two powerful entertainment duelists." Yuzu said.
"Makes sense." Yugo said.
"Shouldn't you be there to support Yuya?" Yuto asked.
"Yeah, but I know he'll be fine. Plus, I don't think Yuya even knows to be honest." Yuzu admitted.
"Anyways, are you guys going to tell me why you are heading to LDS in the first place?" Yuto asked.
"You'll see." Yugo childishly said.
"Right." Yuto said.
"It's nice that LDS is letting us the duel courts since we are now Lancers." Yuzu said.
"Yeah." Yugo replied. "We should be allowed to use them since we basically are the heroes of this dimension."
The three teens got opened the doors to the huge building. Many of the people clapped for their heroes causing Yuto and Yuzu to blush while Yugo was enjoying the praise.
"I'm not accustomed to so much attention." Yuto admitted.
"This is awesome!" Yugo said.
After making there way through the crowd, the three made their way to the duel courts.
"Welp, I guess this is where I leave you guys. Good luck with whatever you two are doing." Yuto said.
"Seeya Yuto! Good luck dueling that Fusion Girl!" Yugo said.
"Tell Serena that I said hi!" Yuzu said as the two left.
"Now I just have to find her..."
"Hey!" A female voice shouted from behind the boy causing Yuto to flinch.
"Nice outfit. It suits you." Yuto complimented the girl. She was wearing a more casual outfit resembling her Academia uniform, composed of a simple red jacket, a broad grey skirt, a black vest that is half unzipped over a white shirt and large black and red boots.
"Thanks. It makes sense to change my attire since I am no longer allied with Academia." Serena said.
"I was surprised when you challenged me to a duel after I was barely conscious." Yuto said as he recalled back when he was reunited with Yuya, Shun and the others.
"Sorry, but I did tell you we would have our rematch. I also have enough honor to give you time to recover." Serena said crossing her arms.
"Yeah, thanks for that." Yuto said.
"Anyways, I was thinking that we could duel somewhere a bit more private." Serena said.
"I know a spot." Yuto said.
A little while later
The two duelists reaches their destination. They were now at a river bank that had multiple wear houses on the side.
"That is the place where I defeated Sawatari in one turn." Yuto pointing to one of the warehouses while recalling his first encounter with Yuzu.
"Heh. I wish I could do the same to that annoying guy. He seemed pretty determined to get revenge on you." Serena said remembering when Sawatari was shouting at the semi conscious Yuto before Shun threatened to kill him.
"Yeah..."
"Ready?" Serena asked.
"Yeah! Let's do it!" Yuto responded activating his duel disk.
"Don't hold back or I will kill you." Serena shouted activating her duel disk.
"Right...lets go!"

"That dragon..." Serena uttered remembering it from the last time they faced off where Yuto almost defeated Serena in one turn using the dragon.

'Damn, not only was he able to summon his ace monster, but he was able to replenish his hand.' Serena thought to herself.
"Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's effect! By using both overlay units, your monster's ATK is halved twice and Dark Rebellion gains that lost amount! Treason Discharge!" Yuto shouted as purple lightning shot out towards the Fusion monster.

"Do you really think I wouldn't be prepared for this? Continuous Trap Moonlight Exclusion, activate!" Serena shouted as a bright light engulfed the two monsters as they were about to clash.
"What?! Where did they go?!" Yuto asked with a worried tone.
"When a Moonlight Fusion Monster battles, this trap card banishes both of the battling monsters as long as this card remains on the field. This face up card can not be removed from the field by other card effects. Also, this card is destroy in the number of my standby phases equal to the amount of the battling Moonlight monster's fusion materials! Therefore, our monsters stay banished until 2 of my standby phases have passed." Serena explained with a smirk.
"Clever move. I set one card phase down, turn end." Yuto concluded.
"My turn! I activate the spell card Pot of Greed! I draw 2! I summon Moonlight Silver Swan!" Serena shouted as a female humanoid swan appeared.

"Another Fusion...this can't be good..." Yuto said to himself.
"Swan that flies through the air, beast lurking in jet-black darkness, white rabbit that's illuminated by the moonlight, become one and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Moonlight Sabre Dancer!" Serena shouted as a lady with purple skin that had yellow and pink clothing and yellow hair carrying two sabers appeared.

"I knew it wouldn't be that easy. Turn end." Serena concluded.
"My turn! With the already set Pendulum Scale, Pendulum Summon! Phantom Knights Shattered Shield!" Yuto shouted.

Yuto shouted as a new Xyz monster appeared. The warrior had pitch black armor and blue eyes glowing from it's helmet while the rest of it's face was hidden. The warrior also carried two swords and had a purple scarf.

"Sabre Dancer can't be targeted by card effects so you can't use your effect!" Serena countered.
"In that case, I activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knight's Launch! I rank up Berserker Blade 1 rank further while using this card as material! Warrior whom uses the weapon that massacred countless souls! Appear now and pierce through the darkness! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 6! Phantom Knights Haunted Trident!" Yuto shouted as a large Phantom Knight with grey and blue armor with a dark blue cape appeared with a large trident in it's hands.

"Sabre Dancer gains 1000 ATK through it's effect since there are 5 Beast Warrior-types in the graveyard! Now both of our monsters have the same ATK!" Serena shouted.
"Then I continue the battle! Attack Sabre Dancer once more!" Yuto commanded his monster as it charged forward towards the Fusion monster. Both monsters clashed and struck each other with their respective weapons which destroyed them both.
"Why did you do that?!" Serena said confused.
"Haunted Trident's final effect! If this card was destroyed while it had a Phantom Knights Xyz monster as an overlay unit, I can special summon it! Come back, Phantom Knights Berserker Blader!" Yuto shouted as the monster returned out of a dark portal.

"No way!" Serena exclaimed.
"Go! Direct attack, Berserker Blader! Cross Slash!" Yuto shouted as his monster swung both of it's glowing sword's creating a X-shaped blast that was heading directly at Serena. The attack hit causing a huge explosion that sent the indigo haired girl flying backwards.

"Damn..." Serena uttered as she got up.
"I set a card phase down. Turn End." Yuto concluded.
"You are very strong, Yuto. But, I will win this duel! My turn!" Serena shouted as she drew.
"She sure has a lot of determination..." Yuto said to himself.
"Since this is my second standby phase, Moonlight Exclusion is destroyed and our monsters return to the field!" Serena explained as her trap card exploding and a blinding light enveloped the field. Once the light dispersed, the two teen's ace monsters returned to the field.

The beautiful wild beast that dances under the moonlight! Swarm in the vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! Moonlight Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted as the evolved form of her ace appeared.

"Also, by sending Phantom Knights Sword to the grave, Dark Rebellion isn't destroyed!" Yuto shouted as the shockwave sent him backwards to the ground.

"Third Attack! Rip through that Phantom Knight and end this duel!" Serena commanded her monster as it charged forward with her claws extended towards the Xyz monster.
"Phantom Knights Abyss Guardian's effect in my hand activates when a DARK Xyz monster is attacked! I can special summon this monster and the attack is negated!" Yuto countered as a phantom armored warrior as tall as Dark Rebellion materialized with a huge ghostly shield and blocked the attack with his shield.

"Yuto...I'm so sorry." Serena said which confused Yuto.
"Why are you saying sorry?" Yuto asked.
"Back when we first met during the tournament, my intention was to card you and to prove my worth to The Professor..."
"Serena, it's ok. You were misguided and you didn't understand what Academia was truly doing and you were greatly mistreated by the Professor."
"Not just that. During the battle royale, I was going to card Yuzu if I beat her...and if it wasn't for the Obelisk Force intruding...I probably would have beaten her. And I wouldn't have any second thoughts about carding her either." Serena admitted.
"...We have all forgiven you, Serena. After all, you never actually carded anyone so you didn't really do anything extremely unforgivable." Yuto said.
"Thanks, Yuto. But I still think I need to redeem myself...and I'll do just that by helping end the Dimensional War as a Lancer!" Serena said.
"..." Yuto was very happy to see Serena look so confident and driven. Although her straight forward personality was a lot different from Ruri's gentle personality, they both were very determined to fight for what they believed in.
"My turn! I activate the effect of Fusion Substitute in my graveyard! By banishing it, I can return Cat Dancer in my graveyard in order to draw a card!" Serena shouted as she drew. She then looked at the card and smiled before activating it. "I activate the spell card Full Moon Fusion! While my opponent controls a monster special summoned from the extra deck while I control no monsters, I can Fusion Summon by banishing Moonlight monsters on my field, in my hand, or graveyard! I banish Moonlight Panther Dancer and Silver Swan in my graveyard and Black Sheep in my hand!"
"What?!"
"Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! The beast lurking in jet-black darkness! The glimmering beast that soars through they night sky! Swarm in a vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! The king of beasts dancing atop the summit of the moonlight wilderness! Moonlight Lio Dancer!" Serena shouted as a new Beast Warrior appeared. This new monster had dark blue skin and had light blue hair. The Fusion Monster had red and golden clothing along with a large sword that had a golden handle.

"Wow..." Yuto said in awe at the sight of the Fusion monster.
"Lets go, Lio Dancer! Battle! Moonlight Lio Dancer, attack Dark Anthelion Dragon! Lunar Sword Slash!" Serena shouted as her monster charged at the dragon.
"Dark Anthelion's effect activates! By using an overlay unit, your monster loses half of it's ATK and then-"
"Stop right there! Lio Dancer is unaffected by card effects!" Serena countered.
"In that case, I activate the effect of Dark Anthelion that was gained by using Berserker Blader as an Xyz Material!" Yuto shouted as the ghost of the monster appeared in front of the dragon.
"What?!" Serena exclaimed.
"When attacked, by using an overlay unit that is a Phantom Knights Xyz monster, destruction is negated!" Yuto shouted as the knight blocked the Fusion Monster's Sword with it's blades. But, Yuto was still knocked back from the damage.

"Then, Dark Anthelion gains 1000 ATK!" The ghost of the Knight was then absorbed into the Dragon as it powered up.

"What?!" Yuto shouted as his monster was destroyed by a energy slash.
"And Lio Dancer can make two attacks! Finish this, Lio Dancer!" Serena shouted as her monster dashed towards Yuto.
"Serena...you are very strong...but I'm not going to lose just yet! Phantom Knights Torn Cape's effect in my hand activates when I am attacked directly! I can summon it to take the attack instead!" Yuto countered as the small Phantom Knight appeared before being sliced in half from the Fusion monster.
"Damn it...I set one card face down, Turn End." Serena concluded.
"My turn! I activate the spell card Pot of Darkness! I banish 2 Dark monsters and I draw 2! Next, I activate the spell card Monster Reborn! Come back, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his ace dragon returned in defense mode. "I set one card face down, turn end."
"My turn! Even though your dragon is in defense mode, my monster can still attack twice! Battle! Destroy that dragon, Lio Dancer!" The Fusion jumped in the air and sliced the black dragon down the middle causing a explosion which almost knocked Yuto to the ground but he stood strong.
"Quick Play Spell, Rank Up Magic Dark Dragon's Revolt, activates! This card resurrects Dark Rebellion and ranks it up one rank higher using this card as material! From the depth of purgatory, sing the song of rebellion dedicated to the restless souls! Let it echo for all eternity and appear! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as the evolved form of his ace appeared in defense mode.

"Damn, but your dragon still can't use it's effects on Lio Dancer. So take your last turn." Serena concluded.
"My turn...Draw!" Yuto shouted as he drew. He looked at the card he drew, before letting out a small smile.
"What's with that grin?"
"You've pushed me so far during this duel...and for that, I'm thankful." Yuto said to the girl.
"What aren't you telling me?!" Serena demanded to know. She knew that Yuto was hiding something from her.
"Fine, I guess you deserve to know." Yuto said before looking down. "During the battle royale, I felt so helpless. I let my anger get the best of me multiple times and I lost control in a lot of my duels. I wasn't able to beat that Yuri guy and Yuzu was almost captured. And I also lost to the Hell Kaiser even though he was holding back and I was throwing everything I had at him."
Serena shivered as she heard his name. But, she shook off the feeing. "Yuto..."
"And one of the worst things was that most of the time I lost control because my opponent was using Fusion..."
"I see...so you wanted to duel me so you could get rid of your anger towards Fusion...?"
"Yeah...I know that Yuzu, Yuya and others use Fusion for good but I still can't forget the memories of what those cards did to my home. But, I have gotten a lot better with facing Fusions and I can accept that Fusion isn't bad...but I still don't think I could use it." Yuto said.
"...Even though Academia taught me mostly everything that I know, I will still use my Fusion Summoning to beat Academia and to stop this war!" Serena said with a confident smirk.
"Thank you...Serena. It's time to finish this duel!"
"Come at me! Show me your full strength!"
"My turn!" Yuto shouted. As he drew, a dark blue glow came from his extra deck. "I activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knights Burial! I special summon Berserker Blader and Rank him up 2 ranks higher using this card as Xyz material!" Yuto shouted as his monster reappeared before turning into energy and flying back into the overlay network.
"Another Rank Up?!"
"Fallen warrior of darkness! Revive now and wield the weapon that controls the shadows! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 7! Phantom Knights Soul Saber!" Yuto shouted. A large Phantom Knight appeared that had Spartan-like armor and carried a large saber that was covered in blue flames.

"Soul Saber effect activates! Since a Phantom Knights Xyz monster was used as Xyz material, I can equip one Xyz monster on my field to this card!" Yuto shouted as the Dark Requiem turned into dark energy that was absorbed into Soul Saber.
"But why?!"
"I activate Soul Saber's other effect! By using an overlay unit, I can equip a Phantom Knights Xyz monster in my graveyard to this card!" Yuto shouted as Haunted Trident appeared from a dark portal and turned into dark energy that was absorbed into Soul Saber.

"Also, Soul Saber gains ATK equal to the rank of the equipped monsters times 300!" Yuto shouted as a blue aura surrounded the warrior. "The combined total is 11 so Soul Saber gains 3300!"

"...I won't give up until the end! Quick Play Spell Battle Fusion activate!" Serena shouted as her face down card opened.

"My monster gains ATK equal to the monster it's battling! That means Lio Dancer gains Soul Saber's ATK of 6300!" Serena shouted as a powerful aura enveloped her most powerful monster.

"Counter attack! Lio Dancer!" The Fusion monster jumped towards the charging Phantom Knight.
"Heh..." Yuto looked down as Lio Dancer was about to slice his monster in half. This duel was truly fun for him, despite him dueling a former enemy. Before Serena could get up, she looked up and was surprised. A hand was extended to her. She grabbed the hand which helped her up.
"You ok?" Yuto asked as he helped the girl up.
"Yeah..." Serena said. As she made eyes contact with Yuto, her eyes widened as suddenly, she was no longer at the pier with the Xyz remnant.
Her eyes widened as she was now in a garden and was standing in front of a young boy with purple and pink hair along with pink eyes.
"That was a fun duel, Serena!"
"Gah!" Serena shouted as she stepped back before snapping back to reality.
"Serena, are you ok?!" Yuto asked in concern.
"Yeah...for a moment...you just reminded me of someone I use to know...that's all." Serena said.
"Anyways...that duel was very intense! You will be a great addition to the Lancers." Yuto said with a smile.
"Thanks, you aren't so bad yourself." Serena said with a smirk. "But you better be ready for next time, because I'm going to kick your ass!"
"Oh we'll see about that!" Yuto said.
"Actually, let's have a rematch right now!" Serena shouted.
"Uh...ok! Let's do it!" Yuto shouted. But before they could start, a loud rumbling sound came from Serena's stomach. "Are you...hungry?"

"Settle down. Someone special to me always said that you can't duel with an empty stomach." Yuto said smiling as he thought about Ruri. Thinking about her always made him smile.

"Are you sure they won't hate me...I did try to defeat you, Reiji, and Yuzu." Serena said.
"I'm positive! After all, none of us have actually gotten off to great start. I almost got there Duel School taken over by LDS for beating up Sawatari, and Yugo almost killed Yuya and I. But now we are a inter-dimensional family, despite not knowing each other for that long."
"An inter-dimensional family, eh? These people sure are forgiving." Serena said.
"Yeah, Yuya and Yuzu are very kind. Yugo is a big goofball who means well. And they are all strong duelists, like us." Yuto explained.
"Isn't that the guy who thought I was some girl named Rin?" Serena recalled back when they first met after the reunion that took place after the battle royale.
"Yeah...to be fair...I almost mistaken you and Yuzu for someone I knew."
"... I've never had a family...or even many friends..." Serena said.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine. We should head over to LDS and see how Yuzu and Yugo are doing before we head to You Show." Yuto said.

"So Yugo, you got it?" Yuzu asked her student who nodded.
"Yup! You use the Fusion Spell to Fusion Summon a monster from the extra deck using monster on your field and in your hand as Fusion Material!" Yugo explained smiling.
"Wow, you are a fast learner." Yuzu said. "I guess I'm just that amazing of a teacher."
"Well, it's not that hard when you already know another Extra Deck summoning method." Yugo said causing a vein to pop out of Yuzu's forehead.
"DON'T YOU DARE IMPLY THAT I'M NOT A GOOD TEACHER!" Yuzu shouted as she relentlessly smacked Yugo with her fan.
"I wasn't! I wasn't!" Yugo shouted causing Yuzu to stop hitting him before he fell to the ground.
"A-Anyways, you still don't have a Fusion Monster to Fusion Summon with..." Yuzu said to Yugo. She had reminded him about this several times but he said he had already had it all figured out.

"I'm going to have one soon...because I'm going to create one!" Yugo shouted causing Yuzu to comedically fall back in shock.
"YUGO, ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I'M SPENDING MY DAY HELPING YOU LEARN FUSION WHILE YOU PLAN TO CREATE A FUSION MONSTER OUT OF THIN AIR! I SHOULD SLAP YOU FOR THIS!" Yuzu shouted as her face turned raging red as she pulled out her fan.
"NONONO! Let me explain, please!" Yugo pleaded getting on his knees causing the pink haired girl to calm down. 'Geez she reminds me of Rin when she gets angry.'

"Thank you. As you know, we all have a strange power that gives us new cards and the ability too Pendulum Summon, right?" Yugo asked Yuzu. She actually couldn't argue, since she had just recently mysteriously gotten Pendulum Cards.
"Yeah."
"And ever since each of us got Pendulum cards, we got new cards that we couldn't even summon before. Yuya has gotten every single type of summoning methods ever since he got Pendulum Cards, Yuto has gotten Ritual since he's gotten Pendulum Cards along with a Xyz Pendulum Card, I've gotten a Synchro Pendulum Card, and you've gotten an Xyz Card." Yugo explained.
"That's right..."
"So if we somehow manage to use our powers, we can create new cards for ourselves to use against Academia!" Yugo shouted in excitement.
"I can't believe that I'm saying this, but that does actually make some sense." Yuzu admitted.

"But there is something that I think you are missing..."

"Well...when we got new cards, we didn't create them, at least, we didn't intend to create new cards. It kind of just...happened."

Yugo's eyes widened as he had a vision of a new dragon similar to Clear Wing but different.
"Let's go! I activate the spell card Fusion!" Yugo shouted as inserted the card into his duel disk, this time, without any errors. "I fuse Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and Hi-Speedroid Makendama!"
"Fusing two Synchro monsters...!"
"Dragon with beautiful and wondrous wings! Magical sword in the form of a cross! Merge together and bring forth the ultimate combination of machines and dragons! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth! Level 8! Clear Wing Machine Dragon!" Yugo shouted. Out of the Fusion vortex, a new dragon soared through the air. The dragon was extremely similar to the dragon's original form but instead of white armor, the dragon had grey mechanized armor that had green energy flowing through out it. The dragon also had green and blue crystals on it's body with a large blue and green tail along with cyan colored eyes.

"Clea Wing...Machine Dragon?!" Yuzu said completely shocked.
"Machine Dragon's effect activates! It gains half of the ATK of it's High-Speedroid Fusion material!"

When this card attacks a monster, by banishing a Machine-type Synchro monster, that monster's effect are negated and that monster loses 300 ATK for each of the banished monster's levels!" Yugo countered as a green beam shot out from the crystal on the dragon's chest causing the Fusion monster to weaken.

"Impossible..." Yuzu uttered. She couldn't use Metronome's recovery effect since she had more life points then Yugo, so there was truly nothing she could do in this situation.
"This is the end! Go, Mechanized Sky Assault!" Yugo shouted as the dragon smashed into the weakened Fusion monster causing a huge explosion that sent Yuzu flying.

As the field dispersed, Yugo ran over to Yuzu to make sure that the girl was ok.
"Yuzu! You ok?"
"I'm ok. That sure was a fun duel."
"Yeah. It really was. And I can finally Fusion Summon!" Yugo shouted in excitement.
"You sure can..."
"Thanks Yuzu! You sure are the best teacher ever! Ron's gonna be so surprised when she sees how strong I've become!"
"Yugo...you used...Fusion..." A voice said coming from the side of the duel court. Yugo swung his head over to see Yuto standing with Serena.
"Yuto!" Yugo panicked.
"As expected of a guy named Fusion." Serena said.
"I'm not Fusion! I'm Yugo! YUGO!" Yugo shouted in anger.
"..." Yuto began to walk towards Yugo.
'Shit Shit Shit!' Yugo panicked in his head. He knew how Yuto felt about Fusion, which is why he didn't tell Yuto what Yuzu and him were doing.
"Yuto, please don't be mad!" Yuzu pleaded.
Yuto stopped in front of his panicking counterpart and put his hand on the boy's shoulder.
"Yugo...I'm happy you are getting stronger and that you are branching out." Yuto said with a smile.
"Y-You mean that?" Yugo asked shocked.
"Yeah. Fusion isn't the problem. It's Academia."
"I'm gonna use this new bad boy to destroy Academia!" Yugo shouted raising his Fusion monster up into the air.
"Hey Serena." Yuzu said.
"Hi...Yuzu." Serena awkwardly said.
"So you dueled Yuto, right? How did that go?" Yuzu asked.
"I lost but...it was a fun duel." Serena said.
"I lost to Yugo when he pulled out that new Fusion Monster, but I had a lot of fun." Yuzu said.
"Serena and I were about to get some ice cream and then we were going to head back to You Show." Yuto explained.
"Awesome! We are coming too!" Yugo shouted.
"Yeah. I want to see Yuya again." Yuzu said blushing.
"You really can't spend a few hours away from your boy friend." Yugo said with a sly smile.
"S-SHUT UP!" Yuzu shouted as she slammed her fan into the boys face.
Serena and Yuto couldn't help but laugh as the pink hair girl began chasing Yugo. "Yuzu, I'm sorry! It was only a joke!"
"GET BAGK HERE!" Yuzu shouted in rage.
"Poor Fusion." Serena laughed.
"MY NAME IS NOT FUSION! IT'S YUG-OW!" Yugo shouted as he was distracted by the girl's taunt which led to him being slapped by the Melodious user.
"Should we stop them?" Serena asked Yuto while the other two continued their cat and mouse chase.
"When she gets like this, it's best to not get involved." Yuto said with a nervous laughter.
After getting her anger out, Yuzu and her friends got some ice cream and went back to You Show to greet Yuya who had just received his father's Smile World Spell Card from his mom after there duel. Serena met the You Show gang and after a moment of confusion, the kids, Shuzo, and Yoko treated Serena as if she was a good friend to them. For the first time, it felt like she truly had a family.
Later On
Yuya and Yuzu managed to slip away from the group while Serena was showing the three kids her dueling style by dueling Shuzo, which didn't end well for him.
"It's been awhile since we've been alone." Yuya said.
"Yeah. I've spent the last 2 days with my dad, we haven't gotten that much time to talk about stuff." Yuzu said.
"That's true..." Yuya said. Yuzu looked at the boy with a curious and worried look. She knew that he wanted to say something, but he wasn't for some reason.
"Can I seen them?" Yuzu asked.
"See what?"
"Your dragons! I've heard that you have acquired a lot of new cards during the battle royale and I want to see them!" Yuzu said with a childish smile. Yuya saw his crush's smile and smiled back at her.
"O-Ok...one moment." Yuya said grabbing out his extra and his main deck.
Yuya pulled out several cards and placed them on the desk in the pink haired girl's room. The cards that Yuya put on the desk were Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Phantom Dragon, Arc Pendulum Dragon, Advance Dragon, Vortex Dragon, Absolute Dragon, Meteorburst Dragon, Gravity Dragon, Rebellion Dragon, Wing Dragon, Beast Eyes, and Rune Eyes.
"Wow! A Synchro Pendulum Monster?! And even a Ritual Card?! Amazing!" Yuzu shouted while looking at Odd Eyes Wing Dragon.
"Cool, right?" Yuya said with a proud look.
"Yeah! So these are all the new ones, right?" Yuzu said grabbing Phantom Dragon, Arc Pendulum, Meteorburst Dragon, Gravity Dragon, and Wing Dragon.
"Yup! They are all super strong!" Yuya said with a confident smirk.
Yuzu put the cards down and got out her own cards.
"Oh I completely forgot! You have Pendulum Cards too! Awesome!" Yuya said.
"Yeah, there aren't as amazing as your new card's...but they are my very own Pendulums..." Yuzu said.
"What are you talking about? These cards are awesome! Plus, you can Xyz Summon now too! That's amazing! You are so cool!" Yuya complimented his love.
"T-Thanks..." Yuzu blushed.
"We are getting so strong! Academia's not going to know what hit them!" Yuya cheered.
"Yuya...I think I know what's bothering you..." Yuzu said.
"What are you talking about? I'm fine! Everything is fine! What could possibly bother me?!" Yuya said.
"I can tell that you are nervous...is it about using dueling to fight others instead of entertaining?" Yuzu asked.
"...Sort of..." Yuya said giving in. Yuya pulled a card out of his pocket which revealed to be Smile World. "This card...it represents my Dad...and I know he wants me to bring smiles to everyone...just like this card does."
"And you are nervous since you won't be dueling to bring smiles, right?"
"...Yeah. I don't want people to get hurt from dueling. Dueling is suppose to be fun and lively. Not destructive and violent." Yuya said looking down. "And sometimes, when I forget to duel to bring smiles to everyone, I forget what is truly important. All I care about is winning and sometimes, that leads to even more pain."
"You are talking about when you lost control during your duels...aren't you?"
"...whenever I see someone being hurt or worse, I snap. All my anger is just released and I gain uncontrollable power. And if something happened to you...I don't think I could gain control, and I don't think anyone could snap me out of my anger either..."
"Yuya...This is about your duel against Reiji, isn't it? He told you we had been defeated and it pushed you to your limits, but you still couldn't beat him. That's why you feel so scared..." Yuzu said.
"I can't lose you! Or Yuto! Or Yugo! I have to stay strong enough to protect everyone I care about! I live you too much to let you be hurt!"
"Yuya..." Yuzu uttered as a tear went down the side of her face. "You can't worry about me. I am strong enough to take care of myself and I'm strong enough to fight."
"I know you are but-!"
"Reiji lied to you. I beat that elite from Academia and I came out of that duel being more powerful than ever! So please! Don't worry about me or the others. I love you too much for you to be so pressured and worried." Yuzu said before leaning in.
"Ok. I won't lose control and I'll fight with you to the end." Yuya said before the two kissed.
They both knew that the future would be extremely difficult. But together, they felt like they could take on anything. But only time will tell if that is true...
Hey Guys! Thanks for waiting so long! I'm so sorry about this week but I've been madly busy with family matters and sports. I have also been working on the next chapter for a while before finishing this chapter since I got a cool idea and I didn't want to forget about it or lose interest. So, I wrote that before finishing all the dialogue. I am truly sorry for how long this has taken to come out but I will try my best to keep pushing forward. It is the summer after all and I am still a kid.
Anyways, I don't have too much to say. Yuto vs Serena was one of my favorite duels to write so far and I'm glad I chose this storyline. I hope you all liked the custom PK cards because I had fun making them. Also, Arc Rebellion will probably show up later on in case you were wondering. I didn't plan for a new dimension dragon to be made, let alone another Rank 5 version of Dark Rebellion which is a little annoying since we already have the OG Dark Requiem. Yugo vs Yuzu was more of a training duel so don't take the result too seriously if you think Yuzu should have won. I just wanted Yugo to get a Fusion Dragon and that was it. But, Yuzu's deck is extremely fluent in spamming monsters now which is fun for me.

E.T. 2000: Thanks, I really like Masumi, Sawatari, and Shun a lot and I will try to develop them as much as I can. I really thought Sawatari would step up as a rival for Yuya in the anime but they never really dueled 1 on 1 after the first season which was a shame since I always wanted to see Entermates vs Abyss Actors.
