I'm sorry for taking two weeks to write this but I'll tell you what happened. So basically, I always write the duels before I write out the actual story. I wrote the duels in this chapter, there are more than one, and then I wrote the duels for the next chapter. Then I went to the beach for a few days and came back and wrote the rest to this chapter, while tweaking the duels. The next chapter won't take too long so stay tuned!
Synchro Dimension
In a control room, multiple screens were covered with alerts causing the workers to become confused and shocked.
"Sir! An unknown energy has been detected in the commons area! There are multiple others, but this is the only on that we can pin point the exact location." The worker told a blonde man in purple.
"...Interesting...send Security to there location and bring them in for questioning." The man, Roget, told the worker.
In the Commons
In an alleyway, a bright blue light shined brightly, revealing 5 people.
"This is the Synchro Dimension, eh?" Sawatari said.
"Where are the others?" Masumi questioned.
"The system must have malfunctioned, which caused all of us to be transported to different areas..." Serena deduced.
"We need to find them! I need to find Yuzu!" Yuya said with a worried tone.
"Relax, Yuya. We'll find them. We just need to start looking." Masumi comforted the boy.
"W-Where's my brother...?" Reira said panicking.
"Reira...don't worry. We'll find your brother." Yuya told the boy which eased his worries a little.
"You 5 are coming with us!" A man's voice shouted.
The 5 turned there heads to see 4 men that looked like police that had duel disks on.
"So this is the Security that Yugo was talking about..." Yuya realized.
"Then that means they are bad guys, and I, the great Sawatari will defeat them." Sawatari shouted.
"I'll take you on!" On of the officers shouted stepping in front of the boy.
"Duel me!" Serena shouted at the second officer.
"In that case..." Masumi said stepping infront of another Officer.
FIELD SPELL: CROSSOVER!
"DUEL!"

Suddenly, the world around the duelists turned into a Action Field, which had many platforms with Action Cards on them.
"So this is the Action Field that Reiji was talking about..." Sawatari said.
"Please! This is just a misunderstanding! We don't have to fight!" Yuya pleaded to the duelists.
"Nonsense Yuya! We have to teach these guys a lesson for messing with us!" Sawatari said.
"I want to test the abilities of the duelists here, and this is a perfect opportunity." Serena said.
"It'll be fine, Yuya. Just watch after Reira while I beat this guy!" Masumi said.
"My turn! With the Scale 1 Abyss Actor Devil Heel and the Scale 8 Abyss Actor Funky Comedian, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Sawatari shouted.
Devil Heel 1 - 8 Funky Comedian
"Pendulum...what is that?" The Officer said.
"I, the great Sawatari and the master of pendulum, will show you! With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters with levels 2 through 7! Pendulum Summon! Come to the stage, Abyss Actor Wild Hope! Abyss Actor Pretty Heroine! Abyss Actor Curtain Raiser! And last but Certainly not least, Abyss Actor Big Star!" Sawatari shouted as 4 bright lights shot out of the portal revealing his Abyss Actors with his Ace monster in the middle.

"Pendulum Summon..." The Officer uttered. "How did you summon all of those monsters?!"
"Pendulum cards in the pendulum zones are treated as spells. These cards let me summon monsters with levels in between the numbers of the scales." Sawatari explained to the confused Officer.
"Sawatari, just because he asked doesn't mean you have to tell them...they are trying to arrest us for crying out loud!" Masumi said with an annoyed look.
"Big Star's effect activates! I can add an Abyss Script spell Card from my deck to my hand! Now, I'll activate the Spell Card Abyss Script Opening Ceremony! I gain 500 life points for each Abyss Actor on my field...which means I gain 2000 life points!" Sawatari shouted as his life points when up while fireworks went off behind him.
SAWATARI: 4000-6000 LP
"Turn End!" Sawatari said with a smirk.
"So this is Sawatari's new Pendulum..." Yuya uttered.
"My turn! I activate the Spell Card Pot of Greed! I draw 2 cards! Next, I summon Vigilante Zeni!" The Officer shouted.

"Zeni's effect! By reducing it's ATK to 0, I can special summon a level 3 or lower Vigilante from my hand! Come forth, the tuner monster, Vigilante Gata!"

"A tuner monster...so that means he's going to..." Yuya said to himself.
"I tune my level 3 Vigilante Gata to my level 4 Vigilante Zeni! Tear apart the dark fog of twisted doubt and unravel the truth! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Sniping Heiji Type-0!" The Officer shouted as a orange and green mechanical warrior appeared.

"So this really is the Synchro Dimension..." Sawatari said.
"Sniping Heiji Type-0's effect! By discarding a card, a monster on your field is destroyed and you take 400 points of damage!" The Officer shouted.
"What?" Sawatari shouted as the Synchro monster shot coin-like electrified bullets at Curtain Raiser which destroyed it and caused Sawatari to flinch.
SAWATARI: 6000-5600 LP
"I use this effect once more! I discard a card to destroy another monster!" The Officer shouted this time destroying Pretty Heroine.
SAWATARI: 5600-5200 LP
"I use the effect again!" The Officer shouted discarding a card as Wild Hope was destroyed.
SAWATARI: 5200-4800 LP
"...Wild Hope's effect! When destroyed, I can add a new Abyss Actor such as Abyss Actor Extra to my hand!" Sawatari shouted as a card popped out of his duel disk.
"It doesn't matter! I use the effect of Sniping Heiji once more!" The Officer shouted as he discarded.
"Big Star!" Sawatari cried as his monster was destroyed.
SAWATARI: 4800-4400 LP
"Battle! Sniping Heiji Type 0, Direct Attack!" The Officer shouted as his monster charged Sawatari and hit him in the stomach causing him to fall down in pain.
SAWATARI: 4400-2000 LP
"Damn..." Sawatari uttered.
"And since you said that Pendulum cards are like spell cards, I can do this! Quick Play Spell, Cyclone! I destroy Devil Heel!" The Officer shouted using the last card in his hand to destroy Sawatari's Pendulum Card.
"...Bastard!" Sawatari shouted.
"Turn End." The Officer shouted before turning to the Officer behind him. "Go deal with the other two, I'll finish this up."
"Right." The Officer said stepping towards Yuya.
Reira quickly panicked and ran behind Yuya.
"It's ok, Reira. Don't worry." Yuya said.
"Duel, or surrender. Either way, you are coming with me!" The Officer shouted.
"I guess I have no other choice..."
"DUEL!"
OFFICER 4: 4000 LP vs YUYA: 4000 LP
Since Crossover was already activated, Yuya quickly grabbed Reira and jumped from platform to platform so he could try to get Reira to safety. But before he could get to the roof, the Officer he was dueling jumped up before him.
"I figured you'd try to escape! Now that you have no other options, take your turn!"
"Listen to me. No matter what happens, don't forget your smile." Yuya smiled as the voice of his mom echoed throughout his mind.
'That's right...I can't lose my dueling...and this is the perfect opportunity! I settle this misunderstanding with my entertainment dueling!' Yuya smiled as he thought to himself.
"Ladies and Gentleman! Step right up to see something that has never been done in this world! I, Yuya Sakaki, son of pioneer of entertainment dueling Yusho Sakaki, will present my very own Entertainment Dueling!" Yuya shouted with a wide smile as he extended his hands.
"Is he stupid?! At a time like this?!" Sawatari said before grunting in pain.
"My turn! I normal summon Entermate Discover Hippo!" Yuya shouted as his signature pink hippo appeared.

"What?!" The Officer shouted as he saw Yuya and Reira got in the back of the hippo before jumping across the platforms and landing on the roof where he was standing.
"How'd you like that?" Yuya asked with a wink.
"Gaaahh!" Reira frighteningly shouted.
"Don't worry! Just trust me, ok?" Yuya told the boy who nodded back.
"What's going on..." The Officer uttered.
"It's time for you to meet my cheerful dancers! Quick Play Spell, Hippo Carnival, activate!" Yuya shouted as three female hippo tokens with tropical clothing appeared and began dancing on top of the platforms.

"With there seductive dances, these girls keep you from attacking any other monster on my field beside themselves!" Yuya explained with a smirk.
"So that's his strategy...a bit flashy...but effective." Masumi said.
"Act 1 is finished! Turn end!" Yuya shouted with a bow.
"My turn!" The Officer shouted before smirking. "I summon Vigilante Zeni!"

"Just like the other Officer..." Yuya uttered.
"I activate my monster's effect! By discarding one card, I discard one card in my hand and one monster in your field is destroyed! And then, you take 400 points of damage!" The Officer shouted as his monster fired multiple coin-like electrified bullets towards the pink hippo.
Yuya quickly reacted and dove down to get an Action Card. "Action Spell Guard Cover! I switch the target of your monster's effect to my hippo token!"
"But you still take the damage!" The Officer shouted as the yellow hippo token exploded into yellow particles that looked like fireworks and Yuya flinched from the damage.
YUYA: 4000-3600 LP
"And as long as I have cards in my hand, I can keep using my monster's effect! I discard a card to destroy your hippo once more!" The Officer shouted.
"But Guard Cover's effect is still active! That means I can switch the target once more!" Yuya shouted as the blue female hippo exploded into more fireworks causing him to flinch.

"You ok?" Yuya asked the boy.
"Yes..." Reira responded.
"Alright, hold on tight." Yuya said as his hippo began moving once more.
"Worried about your little friend over there?" The Officer who was battling Serena asked since she was watching his duel versus taking her turn.
"Hmph. My turn! I summon Moonlight Blue Cat!" Serena shouted as a female blue humanoid cat appeared.

"I set a card face down, turn end." Serena concluded with a confident smirk. "Now, show me the power of duelists from the Synchro Dimension!"
"My turn! I summon Gem Knight Alexand!" Masumi shouted.

"Alexand's effect activates! By sending it to the graveyard, I can special summon Gem Knight Crysta from my deck!" Masumi shouted as a larger knight appeared.

"I set two cards face down, turn end. Now, come at me!" Masumi shouted as she heard the Officer dueling Yuya laugh.
"Haha! You can't run forever! I discard a card and destroy your hippo!" The Officer shouted.
Yuya's final token was destroyed causing more fireworks as Yuya took damage.

"Reira, relax. Look at the fireworks." Yuya said as the boy became more relaxed as he looked at the yellow fireworks.
"You no longer have a hippo tokens and I still have one card left!" The Officer shouted as he discarded his remaining card.
"If he destroys Hippo and direct attacks, Yuya will get one turn killed..." Sawatari said.
"Say goodbye to that Hippo!" The Officer shouted as a huge explosion occurred.
But when the smoke faded, a sparkling blue barrier was around Yuya, Reira, and Discover Hippo.
"What a miracle! I found and activated the Action Spell Mirror Barrier, which negated my Hippo's destruction!" Yuya explained with a wide smile.
"What are those Action Spells that the boy is using..." The Officer that was dueling Sawatari asked.
"You seriously don't know yet? Action Cards are scattered through out the field and can give you major advantages and they can help you expand your strategy." Sawatari explained.
"Maybe I should use one..." The Officer that was dueling Yuya said before eyeing a Action Card that was on the ground before picking it up. "Action Spell Zero Penalty! Your hippo's ATK is reduced to 0!"
Discover Hippo (800/800)-(0/800)
"Hippo!" Yuya shouted as his Hippo fell to the ground since it was so drained.
"Damn it, Sawatari! Why did you have to blurt that out!" Masumi shouted.
"It's not my fault I'm so knowledgeable." Sawatari pouted.
"Battle! Sniping Heiji Type 0, attack Discover Hippo!" The Officer shouted as it aimed with it's scope and fired an attack that knocked Yuya and Reira off the roof.

Luckily, Reira's fall was broken by Yuya. "What was the point of me taking so many hits if you couldn't learn from their strategy?!" Sawatari shouted.
"Now it's your turn! Show me your Synchro Summon!" Serena demanded.
"I tune my level 3 Vigilante Gata to my level 4 Vigilante Zeni! Tear apart the dark fog of twisted doubt and unravel the truth! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Sniping Heiji Type-0!" The Officer shouted as a orange and green mechanical warrior appeared.

"You guys all have the same decks don't you? What are they, supplied or something?" Serena taunted.
"Say what you want, it doesn't change anything! Sniping Heiji's effect! By discarding a card, your blue cat is destroyed and you take 400 damage!" The Officer shouted.
"I activate the Trap Card Moonlight Barrier! Moonlight monster's can't be destroyed this turn!" Serena countered.
"Then Battle! Sniping Heiji Type 0, attack Blue Cat!" The Officer shouted.
"My monster isn't destroyed!"
"But you still take the damage!"

"That's all you could do?" Serena asked.
"Tsk, Turn End." The Officer shouted.
"I tune my level 3 Vigilante Gata to my level 4 Vigilante Zeni! Tear apart the dark fog of twisted doubt and unravel the truth! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Sniping Heiji Type-0!" The Officer that was dueling Masumi shouted.

"Trap Activate! Gem Shield! By discarding a Gem Knight, I can negate that attack!" Masumi shouted as she sent another card to the graveyard.
"Damn it, Turn End." The Officer said.
"How horrible, he's showing no mercy, even though I don't want to fight and there is a kid involved..." Yuya said. "Reira, are you ok? You don't look hurt. That's goo-"
"Stop resisting! You are only stacking up your crimes." The Officer that was dueling him shouted.
"We have no reason to give ourselves up!" Serena shouted.
"That's right!" Masumi pitched in.
"My Turn!" Both girls shouted at the same time.
"I activate the spell card Fusion! I fuse Blue Cat on my field with Purple Butterfly in my hand! Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Butterfly with violet poison! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come to me! Level 7! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Moonlight Cat Dancer!" Serena chanted as her ace monster appeared.

"Next, I activate Moonlight Perfume! I revive Moonlight Blue Cat!" Serena shouted as her monster reappeared.
"What's that weak monster going to do?"
"Blue Cat's effect! I can double Cat Dancer's ATK since Blue Cat was special summoned!" Serena explained.
"D-Doubled...!" The Officer shouted.

"Cat Dancer's effect! By releasing Blue Cat, she can attack your monsters twice and the first time, the monster isn't destroyed!" Serena explained.
"T-Twice?! There's no way!" The Officer exclaimed.
"Battle! Moonlight Cat Dancer, attack Sniping Heiji Type 0! Full Moon Cresta!" Serena shouted as her monster shot a powerful blast that destroyed the Synchro monster and knocked the Officer to the ground.

"Trap Activate! Fragment Fusion! I banish Crysta, Alexand, and Emeral, which I just sent to the grave with the effect of Gem Shield, in order to Fusion Summon! Gem with facets of day and night! Eye of Quartz! Brilliant emerald of good fortune! In a whirlpool of light combine to bring forth a new dazzling radiance! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Supreme radiance who illuminates everything! Gem Knight Master Dia!" Masumi shouted as her large knight with gem like armor and a long sword appeared.

"This is what you get for messing with the great Sawatari! Battle! Big Star, attack Sniping Heiji Type 0 and end this duel!" Sawatari shouted as his monster leaned forward and kicked the Synchro monster into it's owner which sent the Officer flying into the wall.

"Don't you know, resisting so much is an even greater crime!" The Officer dueling Yuya shouted.
"What?! We are just defending our selves!" Masumi shouted.
Just then, the solid vision walls dissolved and many Sector Security officers were now at the scene, blocking them off from escape.
"Cowards! Calling so many reinforcements for just 5 people? Pathetic!" Serena shouted.
"It's over for you. Take your last turn." The Officer said turning to Yuya.
"Guys...I'm going to cause a distraction, while you guys take Reira and run." Yuya said to the others.
"Run?!" Serena said.
"Just trust me..." Yuya pleaded.
"Yu...ya..." Reira said.
"Everything's going to be fine." Yuya reassured the boy.
"If you aren't going to make a move, then surrender!" The Officer shouted. "We aren't here to have fun! So give up now!"
'Can I really make them smile...there's no way...no...I have to try!' Yuya though to himself. "My turn! Yes with this, I can pull it off! With the Scale 1 Entermate Monkeyboard and the Scale 6 Entermate Guitartle, I set the Pendulum!"

"Pendulum Summon...?!" The Officer exclaimed.
"Swing Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! Entermate Trump Girl! Entermate Bot Eyes Lizard! Entermate Spikeagle!" Yuya shouted as three lights shot out from the portal in the sky as his cartoon-like performance monsters appeared.

As the three monsters danced, Sniper Heiji also began dancing. "What?!" Suddenly, the monster dissolved as it was sent back to the extra deck.
"Now is your chance! Get out of here!" Yuya shouted.
"I'm not leaving! I have to stay and fight! I never run!" Serena shouted with pure pride.
"As if I'll stay here and let you look like the hero!" Sawatari shouted.
"I can't leave you here alone! Yuzu would kill me!" Masumi shouted.
"Hehehe! Your scheme failed! When Sniper Heiji leaves the field, I can special summon it's Synchro Material! Come back! Vigilante Zeni and Gata!" The Officer shouted.

"So what?" The Officer taunted.
"Trump Girl's effect! I can perform a Fusion Summon using itself and Bot Eyes that is treated as Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Wielder of bizarre arts! Become dazzling lights and dwell in the eyes of the dragon! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Rune Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his first Fusion dragon that had a ring on it's back appeared with a loud roar.

"It doesn't matter! I'll still survive this turn!"
"Battle! Rune Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Vigilante Zeni! Unending Shiny Burst!" Yuya shouted as a powerful blue blast was shot from the top of the dragon's ring which sent the Officer flying backwards.

"Ha! I survived!"
"Not for long! Rune Eyes can attack a different amount of times depending on it's Magician-Type Fusion Material! Since Trump Girl was level 2, my dragon can attack twice!" Yuya shouted.
"What?!"
"Alright! Yuya can inflict 2200 damage and win!" Sawatari cheered.
"Go, Rune Eyes! Attack Vigilante Gata! Unending Shiny Burst!" Yuya shouted as his monster sent one final blast that knocked the Officer to the ground.

"Nice job, Yuya!" Masumi cheered.
"Good work." Serena said.
"Thanks..." Yuya said. He didn't want to win that way...but he did what he had to do.
"Step aside. That's an order." A manly voice said as all the Sector Security guys flinched and powered down there duel disks. A bulky man stepped out from behind. He had a similar uniform compared to the others, but he had a yellow scarf and a white undershirt his uniform.
"Who are you?!" Serena shouted.
"My name is Testu Ushio. I have been sent here to battle you." Trudge said looking at Yuya.
"Me?!" Yuya said shocked.
"If you win, then you can freely leave." Ushio told the boy.
"...fine! I'll duel you!" Yuya shouted readying his duel disk.
"What?! Why do you get to duel him?!" Serena shouted.
"Trust me Serena. I'll win for sure!" Yuya told the girl.
"Alright. You better." Serena said.
"DUEL!"

"You can have the first move." Ushio said.
'I wonder if this is part of his strategy. Should I try to make him smile...or should I try to beat him. We need to escape as soon as possible to find Yuzu...Yuzu...'
"Yuya! Snap out of it!" Sawatari shouted.
"R-Right! My turn! With the Scale 3 Xiangke Magician, and the Scale 7 Entermate King Bear, I set the Pendulum Scale!"

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters with levels 4 through 6! Swing Pendulum of my Soul, draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! Entermate Bubbulldog! Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix!" Yuya shouted as two lights revealed two powerful entermate monsters.

"Montage Dragon's ATK becomes equal to the amount of levels the discard monster had times 300! Since the monsters were levels 4, 3, and 3, Montage Dragon's ATK is 3000!" Ushio shouted.

"3000 right off the bat..." Yuya uttered.
"Battle! Montage Dragon, attack Light Phoenix! Power Collage!" Ushio shouted as his dragon shot a powerful blast that consumed the Odd Eyes monster.

"I set one card face down, turn end." Ushio concludes.
"My turn! With the Set Scale, Pendulum Summon! From the extra deck, Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix!" Yuya shouted as the monster returned in attack mode.
"So you can Pendulum Summon the destroyed cards back, eh? Interesting...this will be more fun than I thought it would be!" Ushio shouted.
"It's time for the star of my act to appear! I release Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix to special summon a monster from my hand! Come forth! Level 8! Entermate Sleight Hand Magician!" Yuya shouted as his magician that was clad in red that also had a lower body that resembled Yuya's pendulum appeared.

"...but what's the point? Your monster is weaker than mine!" Ushio shouted.
"Time for my Magician's effect! By discarding a card, my magician can destroy a face up card in the field! Sleight Hand will destroy your Mirage Dragon!" Yuya shouted with a smile as his magician shot a blast of blue energy into the sky that beautifully rained down on the dragon.
"Woah..." One of the Officers said in awe at the sight.
"You played right into my trap! Trap Activate! Death Penalty! Since a monster was destroyed on my field, a monster on your field is destroyed and you take damage equal to half of Mirage Dragon's ATK!" Ushio shouted as a dark blast of energy destroyed the magician and knocked Yuya off a platform he was standing on.
YUYA: 3000-1500 LP
"Damn it...he expected Yuya to destroy that dragon..." Serena said.
"You still can attack directly, Yuya!" Sawatari shouted.
"That's right...Battle! Bubbulldog, Direct Attack!" Yuya commanded.
Ushio braced himself as the cartoonish dog swung it's brush knocking him to the ground.
TRUDGE: 4000-1700 LP
"Nice hit, Yuya!" Masumi cheered.
"I set one card face down, turn end." Yuya concluded.
"My turn! I'll make you pay for damaging me! I activate Pot of Greed! I draw 2 cards! By banishing Hellway Patrol in my graveyard, I can special summon another copy in my hand!" Ushio shouted as a fiend riding a motorcycle appeared.

"Then, I Summon the tuner monster Jutte Knight!"

"Now, I tune the level 2 Jutte Knight to my level 4 Hellway Patroller! Capture those who defy the law with your power! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 6! Goyou Guardian!" Ushio shouted as a warrior holding a rope that had a Jutte (sort of like a metal baton) at the end appeared.

"Goyou Guardian..." Yuya uttered nervously.
"I activate the spell card Beneficial Mercy! You must special summon a monster level 5 or higher monster in your graveyard to your field, and then I gain life points equal to it's level times 200! And for every 500 life points I gain, I draw a card!" Ushio shouted.
"I only have Sleight Hand in my graveyard, so I summon it!" Yuya shouted as the magician appeared while Trudge gained life and drew two cards.
Entermate Sleight Hand Magician(2500/2000)LVL:7
TRUDGE: 1700-3100 LP
"Battle! Goyou Guardian, attack Sleight Hand Magician! Go, Goyou Lariat!" Ushio shouted as his monster whirled the Jutte at Sleight Hand, destroying it once more.
"Damn it..." Yuya said.
"Goyou Guardian's effect activates! When this card destroys a monster and sends it to the graveyard, I can summon that monster to my field in defense mode!" Ushio shouted as a portal opened up in front of his monster. Goyou Guardian threw the rope into the portal and dragged out Sleight Hand onto his field.
"What?!" Yuya shouted.
"What an effect..." Masumi said.
"I'm not done! I activate the effect of Jutte Officer's effect in my grave! By banishing it, I can switch the position of one monster on my field! I switch Sleight Hand Magician to attack mode!" Ushio shouted.
"This isn't good..." Yuya quickly jumped on a few platforms while trying to get an Action Card. He grabbed one looked at it in shock.
"Damn...I can't use this..." Yuya said with a sad tone.
"Go, Sleight Hand Magician! Destroy Bubbulldog!" Ushio shouted as his newly captured monster shot a blue blast of energy from it's rod.
YUYA: 1500-1300 LP
"Since the battle is over, I activate Sleight Hand Magician's effect! By discarding a card, I can destroy your Entermate King Bear in your Pendulum Zone!" Ushio shouted.
"Now I can't Pendulum Summon..." Yuya realized.
"Hahaha! This duel is mine! Turn End!" Ushio shouted.
"..." Yuya couldn't believe it. Not only did Ushio steal his monster, but he also prevented him from Pendulum Summoning again. Things weren't looking good for him. 'Am I trying too hard to make everyone smile, that I can't focus on winning?'
"Yuya! Snap out of it already! You losing is making me look bad since your my rival!" Sawatari shouted at the boy.
'I can't think like that! I have to try my best to win, and to make everyone smile!' Yuya regained his resolve as he stood up. "Ladies and Gentleman! I sure am in a bad spot right now! But, I will perform a miracle and entertain you all with my entertainment dueling! My turn!"
"There he goes again..." Masumi said.
"Entertainment...dueling?!" Ushio uttered in confusion.
"With the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I reset the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya shouted.

"I overlay my level 7 Xiangke Magician and Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon! With these two monsters, I create the overlay network!" Yuya shouted as his monsters turned into blue and red overlay units that flew into the overlay network.
"Using a Synchro Summon to fuel a Xyz Summon..." Masumi uttered in amazement.
"Frozen dragon with dual colored eyes, be reborn in the depths of the artic and freeze our enemies! Xyz Summon! Come Forth! Rank 7! Cold dragon of Revival! Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his blue Xyz form of his ace appeared.

"Another new Summon..." Ushio uttered as all of the other officers gasped.
"Battle! Bubbulldog, attack Goyo Guardian!" Yuya shouted as the dog charged the warrior.
"What are you doing?!" Ushio shouted. He knew his opponent was planning something. "In that case, destroy that monster, Goyo Guardian!"
"Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon's effect activates! By detaching an overlay unit, I can negate that attack! Blizzard Barrier!" Yuya shouted.
OVU: 2-1
"Why would you declare an attack and then negate it?!" Ushio questioned.
"Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon's effect continues! I can now special summon an Odd Eyes monster in my graveyard! Since I just sent Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon to the graveyard as an overlay unit, I can special summon it through Absolute Dragon's effect!" Yuya shouted as a blue portal appeared and Meteorburst jumped out of it in attack mode.
"So that was your plan..." Ushio said.
"Lets go! Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon, attack Sleight Hand Magician, but do it gently!" Yuya commanded his Xyz monster as it charged and slightly head butted the magician which destroyed it.
TRUDGE: 3100-2800 LP
"It doesn't matter! None of your monsters are strong enough to take on Goyou Guardian!" Trudge shouted.
"Not for long! Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon, attack Goyou Guardian! At this moment, Meteorburst's effect activates! When this card battles while I control another Odd Eyes monster, Meteorburst gains 300 ATK for every Odd Eyes monster in my field!" Yuya shouted as his monster was enveloped in a crimson aura.

"Nice Yuya!" Sawatari cheered.
"Go, Meteorburst! Spiral Inferno Burst!"

"Damn it!" Ushio shouted in rage.
"Go, King Bear! Direct Attack! At this moment, King Bear's effect! He gains 100 ATK for every Entermate on my field!" Yuya shouted as his monster powered before slashing Ushio and sent him flying into the wall.
King Bear (2200/1000)-(2400/1000)
USHIO: 2500-100 LP
"So close! Just a little more..." Masumi said.
"Next, I activate the Action Spell Battle Draw! Since I damaged you in battle, I can draw 2 cards! I set one card face down, Turn End! Did you all like the performance?" Yuya shouted as he turned to the officers who were surprisingly cheering out of excitement for what was coming next.
"Yuya can even make evil police from another dimension smile..." Serena said in amazement.
"That's Yuya for you." Sawatari said.
"...heh...You're not half bad, kid. No one I've ever arrested has damaged me this much. But, I still am going to win! My turn!" Ushio shouted as he drew and smiled at the card.
"I summon the tuner monster, Jutte Captain!" Ushio shouted as a monster similar to Jutte Knight appeared but with a captain's outfit.
Jutte Captain (900/400) LV:3
"Captain's effect! When this card is normal summoned while I control no other monsters, I can special summon a Goyou monster in my graveyard! Ressurect, Goyou Guardian!" Ushio shouted as his warrior returned.
"That monster again..." Yuya uttered.
"Now, I tune my level 3 Jutte Captain to my level 6 Goyo Guardian!"
"He's synchro summoning again?!" Sawatari shouted.
"What did you expect?" Masumi asked.
"Ruler of justice, use your power to enforce the law and crush those who oppose your order! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Goyou General!" Ushio shouted as a warrior with a black and red uniform that had several golden medals, appeared. The warrior also held a jutte in each hand.
Goyou General (3000/2200) LVL:9
"That monster is more powerful than any of my monsters..." Yuya uttered.
"Battle! Goyou General, attack Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon! Goyou General's effect! Once per turn, when this card attacks a monster, that monster isn't destroyed and you take no damage! Also, I gain control of the monster and Goyo General can attack in a row!" Ushio shouted.
"I won't let you! By using an overlay unit, I can negate that attack! Therefore, your monster's effect won't activate! Blizzard Barrier!" Yuya countered.
"I don't think so! Action Spell Runaway! The activation of your monster's effect is negated and you take 500 points of damage!" Ushio countered as Yuya braced himself from the blast that shot out of the Action Spell.
YUYA: 1300-800 LP
"What the hell?! When did he get that card?!" Sawatari shouted.
"When did you grab it! I haven't seen you go for Action Cards yet!" Yuya said.
"When I was blown back from your direct attack, I grabbed this card while I was in the air. I thought it might come in handy. Now Goyou General's effect continues!" Ushio said as the warrior let out a shockwave from it's weapons that caused the Xyz monster's eyes to turn bright red before going to Ushio's side.
"This isn't good..." Yuya uttered looking at his brain washed Xyz monster and the giant warrior synchro monster.
"Goyou General, attack Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon! Goyou Cross!" Ushio shouted as his monster slashed through the dragon in the shape of an X, destroying it and knocking Yuya off the platform he was on.
YUYA: 800-300 LP
"Then, Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon, attack King Bear and end this duel!" Ushio commanded his newly captured dragon as it charged at the entermate monster.
"Yuya's...gonna lose..." Reira uttered in fear.
"I...won't give up!" Yuya shouted as he sprinted off and jumped onto platform after platform while searching for an Action Card.
"As if I'd let you!" Ushio shouted as he jumped up in the platform Yuya was about to land on and swung his duel disks blade at the boy which knocked him off balance and caused him to crash land on a lower platform.
"Gah...Trap Activate! Entermate Swap Guard! I can change the attack target...to another Entermate monster and the damage is halved..." Yuya said between gasps of pain before the Bubbulldog jumped in front of the attack while Yuya was knocked off the platform he was on and fell to the ground.
YUYA: 300-50 LP
"Turn End! Your defeat is inevitable! You should have given up while you had the chance!" Ushio shouted as he walked towards the boy who was laying on the ground.
"I...won't...give up..." Yuya said beginning to stand up.
"We need to help him!" Serena shouted before multiple officers stood in front of the duelists.
"Do not interfere." One Officer spoke out.
"Grr...I can keep...fighting..." Yuya said getting up into his weak legs.
"I like your determination, kid! Now make your final move!" Ushio shouted.
"I...will win!" Yuya shouted as he got up with determination in his eyes.
"Oh? Getting serious, are we? It doesn't matter!" Ushio taunted.
Yuya looked at the only card in his hand which was his Stargazer Magician and grunted. Their freedom was depending on this next draw. "MY...TURN!"
"Please win...Yuya." Reira pleaded.
"Alright! The fun has just begun! With the Scale 3 Entermate Odd Eyes Priest, I reset the Pendulum Scale!"

"Next, Odd Eyes Priest's effect! By destroying it in my Pendulum Scale, I can add a Odd Eyes monster back to my hand! I add Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon back to my extra deck!"

"Think again! With the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya shouted as his other iconic Magician rose up in the blue column.

"Go, Spiral Inferno Burst!" Yuya shouted as his monster shot a crimson blast at the warrior which destroyed and sent Ushio flying backwards into the wall.

"Nice moves, Yuya!" Sawatari cheered.
Yuya walked over to the injured Ushio and stood over him. "I won...so let us leave!"
"...hehehe...Do you really think I was being honest?! How naive are you? Seize them!" Ushio commanded the officers as they closed in on the group.
"You lying bastards!" Sawatari yelled.
"There's certainly a lot of them..." Masumi uttered.
"I won't back down!" Serena shouted.
"Reira, stay behind me!" Yuya told the boy who was panicking.
Suddenly, everyone stopped as they heard the loud sound of engines roaring. The sky went dark and lightning struck somewhere nearby. Then, they could hear the voice of a man chanting.
"Spread your jet-black wings and storm forth in tandem with your roaring thunder! Slash apart the lightning! Synchro Summon! Cascade! Level 7! Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower!"
From the clouds, a warrior with purple bird-like armor and a sword along with two wings, one black and one white, appeared.
The warrior flew through the crowd of officers causing them to scatter and also caused Ushio to back off of Yuya. Then, multiple men riding D-Wheels drove in and took each of the Lancers by their clothings and helped them escape the Security.
"You won't be so lucky next time." Ushio said as the sound of the D-Wheels faded in the distance...
Back in the control room
Roget looked on his monitor as he sat in his chair and fiddled with a chess pawn. He suddenly grabbed the pawn tightly as he grinned.
"Yuya Sakaki, eh? With that kind of power...he'll be a great pawn in the future..."
Annnnnd the first chapter of the Synchro Arc is finished! Sorry for it being short but I didn't want to start off with another group. I'm pretty sure this is a good place to end off. I hope that you liked the duel with Ushio (who is Trudge in the dub of 5DS if you didn't know). Also, I decided to have Masumi join Yuya, Serena, Sawatari, and Reira because why not.

Most likely not exist in this story and will be replaced with the Ritual earth monster. And to clarify, this is more of Yugo's arc than Yuya's arc. Idk who I will have win it all, I will probably let you all choose when the time comes, but they will be the main focus. I'm leaning onto letting Yugo duel Jack in the first match, but a lot of people have commented on Yugo idk. But on the other hand, people want Yuya to duel Jack. We'll see how things end up.
