"I don't feel good about this..." Yuto said with a worried tone.

After there awkward meeting with Gallagher, the group of Lancers were taken to the underground dueling circuit.

"This place is definitely...interesting..." Roy said.

"I think it has a certain...charm...to it." Dennis said.

"Being here feels wrong." Gongenzaka said.

"Don't let these folks here you say that." Gallagher advised.

The place they were in was very messy and dirty. The walls looked extremely old, there were pipes leaking everywhere, and there were a bunch of mean looking people staring them down. Everything about this was wrong.

After walking up some stairs, the group were led to a observatory room. Yuto looked out the window and saw a stadium with many people in the seats and a round track.

"This is..." Yuto uttered.

"This is the underground Riding Duel stadium! As you can see, there are many fans here that come and watch riding duels. In fact, there's one going on right now." Gallagher said causing the group to look out the window.

"Yuto, isn't that your friend-" Roy said before being cut off.

"SHUN!" Yuto shouted as he saw his best friend finish off his opponent with his ace monster, Rise Falcon.

"I figured you two knew each other since you both use Xyz summoning." Gallagher said.

"See? Maybe this was a good idea after all." Dennis said nudging the relieved Yuto.

"He's not the only one." A teen's voice said from the back of the room.

"Hokuto!" Roy said surprised.

"Yaiba!" Gongenzaka happily said.

"Oh yeah! Now there are 7 Lancers reunited!" Dennis cheered.

"This is turning out better than I thought it would." Yuto said.

"How did you guys get here anyway?" Dennis asked.

"Well, we were out in the streets and this guy picked us up and told us about this place. We figured we could find some of our comrades and we were right." Yaiba explained.

"Huh. The same thing happened to us." Roy told them.

Suddenly, the door opened and Shun walked in. He noticed Yuto and smirked.

"Hey, Yuto." Shun said as Yuto smiled back.

"I found you again, Shun. We really gotta stop getting separated." Yuto said fist bumping his friend.

"Sorry to interrupt, but the crowd is expecting another duel. They want to see the undefeated duelist continue his streak of wins." Gallagher said referring to Shun.

"Is that so?" Dennis asked with a smirk.

"Would anyone like to duel him?"

"ME!" Dennis shouted enthusiastically.

"You want to duel me, eh?" Shun asked with a smirk. He certainly was in a happier since he reunited with his best friend, again.

"Yeah! I challenge you, Kurosaki!" Dennis shouted.

"Fine." Shun said walking away as Dennis followed.

After Dennis changed into his D-Wheeler jumpsuit and got himself a D-Wheel from the workers, the two began their duel. But according to the special rules of the underground duel circuit, Shun was handicapped and was forced to start at 1000 life points since he had won 9 duels in a row.

The first one to turn the corner was Shun and according to Riding Duel rules, he got the first turn. He started off by Xyz summoning Raid Raptors Devil Eagle which had 1600 ATK and used it's effect to deal damage equal to it's ATK leaving Dennis with 2400 life points.

Dennis didn't waste any time and Xyz summoned his ace monster, Entermage Trapeze Magician, which had 2500 ATK. Shun tried using Devil Eagle's effect to deal Trapeze Magician's ATK to Dennis but Trapeze Magician's effect prevented Dennis from taking damage. Dennis attacked Shun's eagle which left Shun at 100 life points. But Shun was able to survive the Magician's second attack and was able to bring back Death Eagle thanks to the Trap Card Necro Raptors.

During his next turn, Shun ranked up his monster into Raid Raptors Force Strix and then ranked his monster up again into Raid Raptors Blaze Falcon. Blaze Falcon's effect destroyed Trapeze Magician and left Dennis at 1900 life points. After Raid Raptors Ultimate Mace increased Blaze Falcon's ATK to 2000, Shun was about to end the duel but Dennis use the effect of his Entermate Ball Rider to special summon it in defense mode. Dennis than used his Trap Card Pinch Break to make Blaze Falcon's ATK equal to Ball Rider's DEF which was 1800 and since Blaze Falcon can attack directly even if there are monsters on the field, Dennis was also left with 100 life points. And then Blaze Falcon's effect destroyed Ball Rider through it's effect since it attacked directly. The effect of Pinch Breaker ended which returned Blaze Falcon to 2000 ATK.

Dennis didn't give up and used a Pendulum Summon to Xyz Summon a monster called Entermage Shadow Painter - Shadow Maker which had 2600 ATK. Dennis attackEd Blaze Falcon with Shadow Maker and successfully destroyed the Falcon, but Shun wasn't done yet. With the effect of Ultimate Mace, he took 0 Damage and added a Rank Up spell to his hand. Things were looking bad for Shun but with the Trap Card Light Speed Attack, Shun was able to use his Quick Play Spell Rank Up Magic Revolution Force to use Dennis' monster for Xyz material and Ranked it up into Raid Raptors Revolution Falcon which had 2000 ATK. But suddenly, Shadow Maker was revealed to be on Dennis' field. When the first Shadow Maker was targeted Shun's Rank Up, by using an overlay unit, Shadow Maker called out another copy of itself from Dennis' extra deck.

The crowd roared from the excitement of the duel.

"This sure is intense." Hokuto said.

"Yeah. They are taking this extremely seriously." Roy added.

"I wonder why..." Yaiba said.

Yuto looked up for a moment and saw that the rich people called Tops who Yugo talked about before they left, were all gone. A shiver went down Yuto as he looked closely and saw the Security escorting out the rest of the Tops. His instincts were screaming at him to get out of there. He knew something bad was about to happen. He had to rely on these instincts to predict attacks from Academia back in the Fusion Dimension so he knew he was right. But he couldn't leave Shun again. He had just reunited with him and everyone else.

Yuto turned to the closest person near him and spoke softly.

"Gongenzaka, we need to leave. Something bad is about to happen. We have to go-"

Suddenly, the power in the stadium shut off completely, which made Shun and Dennis' D-Wheels to stop causing them to fall to the ground.

"ATTENTION! THIS IS SECURITY! YOU ARE ALL BEING ARRESTED AND TAKEN IN FOR ATTENDING THIS ILLEGAL EVENT! DO NOT RESIST OR WE WILL USE FORCE!" A Officer said into a speaker as the people in the crowd began to panic and scream.

"Damn it! We have to go now!" Yuto shouted. Suddenly, a group of Security slammed through the door and jumped the lancer.

Yuto was able to swiftly dodge two of the officers and delivered a kick to the face to one and a punch to the gut to the other. His agility from his war zone of a homeland paid off.

Gongenzaka used his strength and training to defend himself against the officer and with one chop, the Samurai duelist subdued the officer.

Yaiba jumped up and smacked one of the Officers in the head with his wooden weapon that he carried on his back which caused the man to be knocked out.

Roy and Hokuto were not as skilled as the other three, so they both tackled the remaining guard and forced him to the ground before Roy smacked him with his duel disk, knocking him out.

"Geez, no one told me we would be settling things with our fists and not our decks!" Hokuto yelled.

"There's no time! We have to go!" Yuto shouted as the 5 made a break for the hallway.

At the end of the hallway was a flight of stares that they could use that would allow them to exit the stadium by the secret entrance that they had used to get in.

They ran into a horde of Security who tried to arrest the group by force. The first to get caught was Hokuto who was overpowered by a officer who caught him from behind.

Next was Roy who was side swiped by a larger officer. Yuto, Gongenzaka, and Roy couldn't tell that their friends were being captured, they just had to keep going.

Yaiba fought multiple off with his wooden stick but was tackled by two officers. After fighting off many Officers, Yuto and Gongenzaka were the last two.

They were a few feet away from the door. But suddenly, one Officer appeared from behind with a net cannon and shot it directly at the two. Gongenzaka saw the net coming at them and pushed the Phantom duelist forwards which saved him from being captured, unlike Gongenzaka.

"Go Yuto! Get out of here and find the others!" Gongenzaka shouted.

Yuto shut the door behind him and locked it before racing off at extremely high speeds. He got to the floor where the entrance/exit was and quickly opened the door. Yuto walked out and went on a knee for a moment, catching his breathe.

"Shun...Gongenzaka...everyone...damn it! I let my guard down and I was too late to realize that this was a trap!" Yuto shouted slamming his fist into the ground.

"Don't worry. You'll be joining them soon." A man's voice said as Yuto heard footsteps from in front of him. Out of the darkness, a man with shoulder length grey hair appeared. He wore a black leather jacket, a long sleeve gray shirt underneath it, and black pants with black boots. In addition to this, he had a black duel disk. The man looked pretty emotionless due to his blank expression.

"Who are you?" Yuto asked.

"The name's Kiryu." The man responded. "I figured you'd be the only one to make it here."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Yuto asked with a stern look.

"Gallagher works for my employer, and informed me of exactly which entrance he showed you. So, I figured you'd try to escape using the same entrance." Kiryu explained.

"That snake...I knew I shouldn't have trusted him...!" Yuto said as he clenched his fists in anger.

"It's my assignment to bring you in, which is exactly what I'm planning to do." Kiryu said as he activated his duel disk which had a grey blade.

"Tsk...what are you, a bounty hunter?!" Yuto shouted.

"Something like that. But that's not what most call me..." Kiryu responded.

"And what is that?" Yuto asked.

"...Death God." Kiryu responded.

'Death God? I don't know what that means, but I have to beat him and rescue the others!' Yuto thought as he activated his duel disk.

"I'll take the first turn. I summon Infernity Knight!" Kiryu shouted as the knight with black and grey armor appeared.

Infernity Knight (1400/400) LVL:3

"Turn end." Kiryu concluded which surprised Yuto.

'Ending his turn already?! He only summoned a low level monster with no face downs...he must be planning something. I have to be careful.' Yuto thought to himself. "My turn! I summon Phantom Knights Ragged Gloves! Then, I summon Phantom Knights Silent Boots through it's effect!"

Phantom Knights Silent Boots (200/1200) LVL:3

Phantom Knights Ragged Gloves (1000/500) LVL:3

"I overlay my level 3 Phantom Knights Ragged Gloves and Silent Boots! With these two monsters, I build the overlay network! Souls of the Knights who fall on the battlefield. Now revive, become the light that rends the darkness! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 3! Phantom Knights Break Sword!" Yuto chanted as his knight appeared.

Phantom Knights Break Sword (2000/1000) RNK:3 OVU:2

"Ragged Gloves' effect activates! Since it was used as Xyz material to summon Break Sword, my monster gains 1000 ATK!" Yuto shouted.

Break Sword (2000/1000)-(3000/1000)

"Battle! Break Sword, attack Infernity Knight!" Yuto commanded his monster as it charged and swung it's glowing sword at the other knight, destroying it.

KIRYU: 4000-2400 LP

Yuto looked at his opponent, who didn't even flinch from the damage he just took. Something was definitely up with this guy.

"Infernity Knight's effect activates! When destroyed, I can discard my entire hand to revive it!" Kiryu explained as he sent his 4 cards to the graveyard to summon back the Knight.

Infernity Knight (1400/400) LVL:3

'He sent his whole hand to the graveyard so he could summon back that monster...why?' Yuto thought in confusion. "I...set 1 card facedown, Turn End. At this moment, Break Sword loses it's ATK boost."

"My turn! I release Infernity Knight to advance summon Infernity Archer!" Kiryu shouted as a archer clad in black and orange armor appeared.

Infernity Archer (2000/1000) LVL:6

"Infernity Archer can attack directly while I have no cards in my hand." Kiryu explained.

"What?!" Yuto shouted.

"Battle. Infernity Archer, Direct Attack!" Kiryu commanded as his monster shot a arrow directly at Yuto. The boy immediately tried to jump onto a platform to get an Action Card, but the arrow from the monster hit Yuto's knee, causing him to fall to the ground in pain.

YUTO: 4000-2000 LP

"Tch...If I don't get rid of that monster, I'll lose next turn..." Yuto uttered as he clutched his knee in pain. "I guess Action Cards aren't an option..."

"Turn End." Kiryu concluded with a blank expression.

"My turn! Battle! Break Sword, Attack Infernity Archer!" Yuto commanded as both monsters rammed into each other, causing a huge explosion.

"So you took out my monster...but now you don't have any defenses for the next turn." Kiryu said.

"That's not true! When Break Sword is destroyed, I can special summon it's Xyz materials as level 4 monsters!" Yuto shouted as the spirit of the fallen warrior split into two lights, revealing Ragged Gloves and Silent Boots.

Phantom Knights Silent Boots (200/1200) LVL:3-4

Phantom Knights Ragged Gloves(1000/500) LVL: 3-4

"Go! Silent Boots! Ragged Gloves! Direct Attack!" Yuto shouted as his two monsters charged at Kiryu.

"I activate the effect of Infernity Shielder in my graveyard! While I have no cards in my hand, I can summon this card and the direct attack is negated! And then I can special summon a level 3 or lower Infernity monster with it's effects negated!" Kiryu shouted as a black and silver armored monster with a large shield protected him. Then, Infernity Knight appeared from a purple portal.

"Damn...since the battle is over, I overlay my now level 4 Silent Boots and Ragged Gloves! Fangs of pitch-black darkness! Rise up against the foolish oppression! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as the black dragon appeared.

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (2500/2000) RNK:4 OVU:2

"Turn End." Yuto concluded.

"My turn. I release both of my monsters to Advance Summon Infernity General!" Kiryu shouted as large knight with black and yellow armor along with a red cape and a large sword appeared.

Infernity General (2700/1500) LVL:7

"Another Advance Summon...?" Yuto said surprised.

"Since Infernity Shielder left the field after being special summoned by it's own effect, it's banished. Battle! Infernity General, attack Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Kiryu commanded his monster charged at the dragon.

"Trap Activate! Phantom Knights Wing! Dark Rebellion isn't destroyed!" Yuto countered as the monster struck the dragon with it's sword, creating a small shockwave that caused Yuto to flinch.

YUTO: 2000-1800 LP

"Then, Dark Rebellion gains 500 ATK!"

Dark Rebellion (2500/2000)-(3000/2000)

"Hmph. Turn end." Kiryu concluded.

"My turn! I activate the spell card Graceful Charity! I draw 3 cards and then discard 2! Dark Rebellion's effect activates! By using an overlay unit, I can target a level 5 or higher monster and it loses half of it's ATK while Dark Rebellion gains that lost amount! Treason Discharge!" Yuto shouted.

"Battle! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, attack Infernity General! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!"

"By banishing Infernity Supporter while I have no cards in my hand, I take no damage!" Kiryu countered as a purple barrier protected him.

"So close..." Yuto grunted as Dark Rebellion returned to his side. "Tch, I set one card face down, turn end." Yuto concluded. "At this moment, Dark Rebellion's effect ends."

"My turn. It seems it's time to get serious." Kiryu said as his expression slightly changed from blank to serious.

'Here it comes...his true power...' Yuto thought.

"I set one card face down. Then I activate the effect of Infernity General in my graveyard! By banishing it while I have no cards in my hand, I can special summon the tuner monster Infernity Wild Cat and Infernity Knight from my graveyard with their effects negated!"

"Tuner monster...that means..."

"I tune my level 3 Wild Cat to my level 3 Knight! Demon empowered by chaos! Awaken from the depths of hell and bring forth destruction! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 6! Infernity Hell Daemon!" Kiryu shouted as a large red and black demonic creature with sharp purple bones as armor appeared on the field.

Infernity Hell Daemon (2200/1600) LVL:6

"So this is his Synchro Summon..." Yuto said at the sight of the frightening monster.

"Infernity Hell Daemon's effect activates. I can target a card on your field and it has it's effects negated! And since I have no cards in my hand, Hell Daemon's effect destroys the targeted card! Demonic Shoot!" Kiryu shouted as his monster shot a red and black blast from it's hands right at Dark Rebellion.

"Dark Rebellion!" Yuto shouted as the blast went directly through the center of the dragon which caused a explosion.

"Battle! Hell Daemon, Direct Attack! Hell Fire Crush!" Kiryu commanded as his monster's hands were enveloped in black and red fire. His monster pointed it's hands directly at Yuto causing him to become nervous. The ground under Yuto began to shake and crack open. Suddenly, a powerful red and black fire shot out of the ground, enveloping Yuto.

"GAAAAHHHH!" Yuto shouted as he was consumed by the attack. "I...activate the Trap Card...Defense Draw! I take no damage...and then I draw a card!"

Suddenly, the fire around Yuto went out, but Yuto was still gasping for air due to the attack.

"Impressive, you managed to survive my monster's attack. But don't get confident. This will be over soon enough. Turn End." Kiryu concluded.

'What the hell was that attack?! This guy is seriously dangerous! I have to defeat him before he gets to the others.' Yuto thought as he caught his breath.

"I've showed you a bit of my strength. Now show me some of yours. I can tell you have much more in store, don't you?" Kiryu said.

"...My turn! I activate the Equip Spell Xyz Revival! I resurrect Dark Rebellion and equip it with this card!" Yuto shouted as his monster returned in attack mode.

"That dragon again..." Kiryu said.

"Next, I activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knight Launch! I rank up Dark Rebellion 1 rank higher and this card is used as material! From the depth of purgatory, sing the song of rebellion dedicated to the restless souls! Let it echo for all eternity and appear! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as the evolved form of his ace appeared.

Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon (3000/2500) RNK:5 OVU:2

"Nice Dragon. It's a shame I have to destroy it." Kiryu said.

"...I don't understand! Why were you sent to go after me?! Who sent you to go after me?!" Yuto shouted. He had just arrived in this dimension...so why would he be getting targeted like this?

"I don't ask questions, I just do my job." Kiryu answered.

"Tch...fine. Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon's effect! By using an overlay unit, I can target a level 5 or higher monster on the field and it's ATK becomes 0! Then, Dark Requiem gains that lost amount! Requiem Salvation!" Yuto shouted as dark energy's shot out from the dragon's orbs on it's body and wrapped around the Synchro monster, restraining it.

Infernity Hell Daemon (2200/1600)-(0/1600)

Dark Requiem (3000/2500)-(5200/2500)

Yuto looked at Kiryu who didn't seemed to be worried about the difference between their monster's attacks. Yuto looked at his opponent's face down and gritted his teeth. 'He's too calm. He has to be planning something. No matter...I have to attack!'

"Getting nervous?" Kiryu asked.

"You should be the one getting nervous! Battle! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon, attack Infernity Hell Daemon! Requiest Disaster Disobey!" Yuto shouted as his monster extended it's stained glass wings and flew down at the demon with a glowing fang.

"Trap Activate! Infernity Force! When a Infernity monster is attacked while I have no cards in my hand, the attacking monster is destroyed!" Kiryu explained as a dark blast shot out from the Trap.

"That won't work! Dark Requiem's other effect activates! By using an overlay unit, Dark Requiem can negate an effect that would destroy cards on the field!"

OVU: 1-0

"Useless! I activate the effect of Infernity Sage in my graveyard! By banishing this card while I have no cards in my hand, I can negate a card effect that was activated in response to a Infernity Spell or Trap Card!" Kiryu countered back.

"No way!" Yuto shouted.

"Then, I can send the top card of my deck to the graveyard. Now, Infernity Force destroys your dragon!" Kiryu yelled as the dark blast collided with the black dragon.

"Dark Requiem..." Yuto uttered in horror.

"Are you done yet?" Kiryu asked with a bored expression. "Anyways, due to the effect of Infernity Force, I can revive a level 4 or lower Infernity monster. Revive, Infernity Shifter"

Infernal Shifter (200/1800) LVL:4

"...I will make you...pay for that! When a DARK Xyz monster is destroyed by battle or card effect, I can special summon Phantom Knights Abyss Swordsman from my hand!" Yuto shouted as a monster that looked similar to his Abyss Guardna but with a long sword with a blue blade appeared.

Abyss Swordsman (2600/1000) LVL:7

"Battle! Abyss Swordsman...attack Infernity Hell Daemon and end this duel!" Yuto shouted as his monster jumped up into the air and rose it's sword up.

"...Infernity Shifter's effect! Since I have no cards on my field, I can banish this face up card on my field to change my Hell Daemon to defense mode!" Kiryu countered before Yuto's monsters slashed the Daemon right down the middle.

"But with that, the only monsters you have in your graveyard are Infernity Hell Daemon, Hell Cat, and Knight!" Yuto shouted. "You can't counter my moves any more!"

"How perceptive of you." Kiryu calmly said.

"Now that the battle is over, Abyss Sword's effect! By banishing a Phantom Knights card in my graveyard, I can special summon a Rank 4 or lower DARK Xyz monster in my graveyard! I banish Silent Boots to Summon Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon in defense mode!" Yuto shouted. His knight stuck it's glowing sword into the ground as a purple portal appeared and Dark Rebellion flew out of it.

"So that dragon returned again..." Kiryu said. "What a pity I'm going to have to destroy it."

"Tch...I set 2 cards face down, Turn End." Yuto concluded.

"My turn. I activate the Infernity Draw! Since this card was the only card in my hand, I can banish a level 4 or lower Infernity monster in my graveyard to draw 2 cards." Kiryu explained as he drew.

"Drawing cards now..." Yuto uttered. He had a feeling his opponent was about to go on the offensive.

"And since I successfully drew cards through this effect, I can send two cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard, Next, I summon the tuner monster, Infernity Fallen Angel." Kiryu explained as a angelic monster with grey clothes and black wings appeared.

Infernity Fallen Angel (1000/1000) LVL:2

"Next, I set one card face down. Then, Fallen Angel's effect. I can revive a Infernity monster that was destroyed last turn but with it's effects negated. Revive, Hell Daemon!" Kiryu shouted as the monster returned.

"But that mean..."

"I tune my level 2 Fallen Angel to my level 6 Hell Daemon! Demonic Dragon caged in the realm between heaven and hell! Break free from your eternal purgatory and spread your darkness across the land of the living! SYNCHRO SUMMOM! Come forth! Level 8! Infernity Void Dragon!" Kiryu shouted. A demonic dragon covered in sharp black armor with red and white lines running through it appeared. The dragon had sharp grey claws and a large tail with a sharp grey blade at the end. The dragon had red eyes and large grey fangs.

Infernity Void Dragon (3000/2400) LVL:8

"What the hell...is that dragon...? Yuto uttered.

"Void Dragon gains 200 ATK for each of my banished cards. I have 5 cards banished, so my dragon gains 1000 ATK!" Kiryu explained as the red lines in the dragon's armor along with the dragon's red eyes glowed brightly.

Void Dragon (3000/2400)-(4000/2400)

"This isn't good..." Yuto said to himself.

"Void Dragon's effect activates! Once per turn, while I have no cards in my hand, my dragon can destroy one of your monsters! I choose your Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Kiryu shouted.

"Dark Rebellion!" Yuto cried.

"And Since Void Dragon is the only monster on my field, it gains half of that monster's original ATK!"

"What?!" Yuto shouted in horror.

"Go, Purgatory Crush!" Kiryu shouted as his monster drove it's glowing claw through the Xyz Dragon, destroying it.

Void Dragon (4000/2400)-(5250/2400)

"And with my next attack, this duel will be over. This is the end for you."

"I don't think so! Quick Play Spell, Phantom Knights Revenge, activate! Since a DARK Xyz monster left the field, I can give half of it's ATK to a Phantom Knights monster on my field!" Yuto shouted as the spirit of his fallen dragon was absorbed into Yuto's swordsman.

Abyss Sword (2600/1000)-(3850/1000)

"Trap Activate! Half Unbreak! My monster isn't destroyed and the damage is halved!" Yuto shouted as his monster was protected by a bubble-like barrier but was pushed back by the shockwave.

"He...He...He..." Yuto gasped.

"You think it's over? You're dead wrong. The monster Synchro summoned using Hell Daemon as material can make up two attacks! Go, Void Dragon! Attack once more! Infernity Hell Inferno!"

"What?!" Yuto shouted before bracing himself for that attack.

"GAAAHHH!"

This time, the shockwave from the attack was too great and it threw Yuto back several feet and into the ground.

"Give up. It's over. You cannot win." Kiryu told the boy who struggled to get up.

"I...won't...lose..." Yuto looked up at his opponent with rage in his eyes.

"Turd end." Kiryu concluded. "At this moment, my Dragon's effect ends."

"My turn...DRAW! I activate the spell card Pot of Darkness! I banish Ragged Gloves and Break Sword...to draw 2 cards!" Yuto shouted. He closed his eyes and place his hands on his deck. He felt the card on top of his deck pulsating. He could feel the monster begging to be released. His heart started racing and his hand started shaking. He got flashes of him brutally defeating the Obelisk Force. He got flashes of him clashing against Hell Kaiser. 'I...can't do it...I can't summon it...'

"What's wrong? Have you finally realized you can't win. Just make this quick. After I'm done here, I might go look for your other friends."

Yuto's heart starting getting faster and faster. Yuto grunted in pain. He couldn't let this lunatic duel Yuya, Yuzu, and the others. But between his heart and his leg, he wasn't even sure what he could do.

"Snap out of it, Yuto!"

Yuto quickly opened his eyes up as he heard the voice. He didn't know who was talking to him, but the voice, for some reason, was comforting to him.

'I'll use it...for my friends that I have to protect!' Yuto thought to himself, regaining his resolve. He gripped the top two cards of his deck and dramatically drew. He looked at the card and immediately felt pain in his chest. But...he could endure it. He had to.

"Make your move."

"...Abyss Swordsman's effect! I banish Phantom Knights Wing to revive Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon once more!" Yuto shouted as the dragon revived again.

"When is it going to get through your head that your weakling dragon won't be able to do anything against me?" Kiryu asked.

"Don't you dare talk about him like that!" Yuto shouted in pure rage as his eyes flashed. He looked at his dragon who nodded back to him, calming him down. He took a deep breathe and calmed himself. He couldn't let his emotions get to him, or he would lose control again. He cautiously took the card in his hand, took a deep breathe and activated it. "I activate the Ritual Spell Card, Ritual of Apocalypse! Now I can ritual summon releasing monsters on my field whose levels are equal or higher! But if I have an Xyz Dragon on my field, I can treat monsters with ranks as having level equal to their ranks and I can release them! I release Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon treated as level 4 and the level 7 Phantom Knights Abyss Swordsman!" Yuto shouted as sweat formed on his face. A alter appeared in front of him with a dark circle of blue flames and two torches with one orange and one purple flame. The two monsters turned into flames that circled around the altar.

"What is this?" Kiryu asked with an intrigued tone.

"Dragon born from the raging flames of war, ressurect with a burning vengeance and destroy everything with your apocalyptic power! RITUAL SUMMON! Come forth! Level 8! DARK REBELLION APOCALYPSE DRAGON!" Yuto shouted as the Ritual evolution of the Xyz dragon appeared with sharp black and purple armor with multiple gold orbs and golden eyes.

"A Ritual Summon...interesting." Kiryu said.

"He...he...he..." Yuto gasped as he gripped his chest. The dragon's roar caused Yuto's heart to beat faster, but he stood strong and extended his hand out before speaking. "Dark Rebellion Apocalypse Dragon's effect...since an Xyz Dragon was used to summon this card, all monsters on your field have their effect negated and their ATKs halved...and Apocalypse gains 400 ATK for each one! POWER ANNIHILATION!"

"Hmph. Your dragon still isn't strong enough to finish this!" Kiryu shouted.

Yuto's dragon roared in anger response to the man's words, causing Yuto's pain to increase.

"No...I'm ending this...NOW!" Yuto said. Using all of his strength, he hopped up onto a platform with his good leg and use his hands to swing into another platform where there was an Action Card. He grabbed the card and then looked at his opponent.

"Despite your obvious pain, you managed to get one of those Action Cards...but it won't matter in the end."

"Is that what you think?" Yuto asked looking down as darkness covered the top of his face, anime style.

"Are you trying to be intimidating?"

"...This duel...is over!" Yuto quickly looked up with a serious expression. Kiryu could tell the boy was having loads of internal and physical pain.

Yuto's thoughts were rapidly going through his head. He had to win, no, he wanted to win. He didn't want me to feel anymore pain. He wanted to inflict the same pain on his opponent.

"ACK!" The dragon continued to roar, louder and louder.

'It seems this boy and his dragons are more connected than I thought...Roget was right about this one being special. But how did he know so quickly?' Kiryu thought.

Yuto's eyes continued to flicker as the dragon roared. The walls of the building began shaking and cracking.

"I'm not...a monster!" Yuto shouted, causing his dragon to stop rampaging.

"Are you done your tantrum?" Kiryu asked.

"BATTLE! Dark Rebellion Apocalypse Dragon, attack Infernity Void Dragon! BLAZING ARMAGEDDON IMPACT!" Yuto shouted as the dragon's orbs on it's body glowed brightly before it let out a purple and red blast of fiery energy at Kiryu and his monster.

"Grr...!" Kiryu grunted as his monster was enveloped by the blast causing him to be thrown through the air.

KIRYU: 2400-500 LP

After being knocked through the air, he flipped and landed on his feet, but he was still burned from the attack.

"Who's dragon's are weak now?!" Yuto shouted. He wasn't going berserk, but the pain he was feeling caused him to become more aggressive.

"When Infernity Void Dragon is destroyed, I can add an Infernity monster from my graveyard to my hand!" Kiryu explained as a card popped out of his graveyard slot.

"It doesn't matter!" Yuto shouted.

"Trap Activate! Infernity Power Flip! When an Infernity monster is destroyed, I can draw a card. And if it is a Infernity monster, you take 200 damage times that monster's level!" Kiryu explained, causing Yuto to flinch.

"What?!"

"Draw." Kiryu calmly said as he drew. "The Card was the level 3 Infernity Beast. Now, take 600 damage and lose!"

"I banish Damage Diet in my graveyard that was sent there with the effect of Graceful Charity to halve the damage!" Yuto shouted as a barrier formed around him. But, the shockwave blew him off of the platform he was on causing him to land on his back hard.

"What happened to you defeating me this turn?" Kiryu asked the boy as he got up.

Yuto looked at his Ritual Dragon and grunted. He didn't want to use it, but he had to do it. He had to win.

"...Action Spell Wonder Chance! My dragon can attack once more!" Yuto shouted as he violently activated the spell.

"What?!" Kiryu cried. For the first time; he was showing actual fear.

"GO! DIRECT ATTACK! FINISH HIM OFF WITH YOUR FULL POWER! BLAZING ARMAGEDDON IMPACT!" Yuto shouted at his dragon. The dragon didn't even need to hear his command as it charged another blast and immediately fired it, ready to kill his opponent.

Before Yuto realized what he had done, it was already to late. The blast consumed the duelist who didn't even make a sound as the blast collided with his body, causing a huge explosion that covered the whole room in smoke.

KIRYU: 500-0 LP

Yuto looked in horror as the smoke cleared. He saw his opponent lying facedown on the ground, seemingly hurt...or worse.

"Did I...kill him...?!" Yuto uttered with a shocked and horrified expression. He looked at his dragon who was still materialized on his field.

What did he do? How could this have happened? How could he have done this? How could he let this happened? He commanded his dragon to use it's full power attack against the defenseless duelist. He let his anger take control and he was now no better than Academia. How could he face his friends? How could he face Ruri? All these thoughts raced through the boys head.

Seeing as it's jobs wasn't done, the giant dragon flew over towards the duelist and proceeded to finish him off, permanently. Yuto looked up and saw that not only was his dragon still somehow on the field, but was charging another attack. His eyes widened as his dragon was about to release another attack.

"STOP!"

Yuto was too late to stop the Ritual monster. The dragon launched another attack at the fallen duelist...

But the attack never connected. A black fiend with blue lines running through it appeared in front of attack and protected the bounty hunter.

"Hehehehe..." The bounty hunter laughed as he was covered in a dark blue aura.

"What the hell?! You're alive?!" Yuto shouted in shock and relief as the man got up and faced the Phantom duelist.

"Don't you know...? Death Gods Don't Die!" Kiryu shouted as the aura around him dispersed.

"Why is the duel still going?! Your life points are at 0!" Yuto yelled.

"When my life points hit 0 from battle or effect damage, I can discard the rest of my hand to special summon Infernity Zero End! This card can't be destroyed by battle or card effect and as long as this card is on the field, I can't lose the duel and this effect can not be negated." Kiryu explained.

"What?!" Yuto shouted in pure shock and disbelief. He had never seen anything like this.

"There is only one way you can win. Due to Zero End's effect, for every 500 points of damage I'd take, I gain a Death Counter. When I have 3 Death Counters, I lose the duel." Kiryu explained.

"I...set a card face down, turn end." Yuto concluded.

"My turn!" Kiryu shouted as he drew.

"His attitude...has changed..." Yuto realized.

"I activate the Equip Spell, Revival from the Void! While I have 3 or more banished cards with no monsters on my field, I can revive a Infernity Synchro monster from my graveyard! Revive, Infernity Void Dragon!" Kiryu shouted as his dragon returned.

"Go, Infernity Hell Inferno!" Kiryu shouted as his dragon delivered a point blank shot through the dragon.

"Trap Activate! Mirror Shade! I pay half of my life points..." Yuto shouted as he was electrocuted, causing him to go on a knee.

"...to take no damage!" Yuto finished as a barrier protected him.

"So you survived, eh?"

"Dark Rebellion Apocalypse Dragon's effect! When this card is destroyed, I can special summon Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon from my graveyard!"

Before Yuto could draw, the pain in his knee sharpened even greater. He needed to end the duel as soon as possible, but he could barely stand at this point. His vision was starting to blur and he began to lose his balance.

"Damn...it..."

"You are in no condition to duel, kid. Give up so I can end you." Kiryu coldly said.

"No...not yet...I will protect everyone..." Yuto said while barely standing. A looked at his empty hand and put his hand on his deck. With no cards in his hand, he had to draw a card that could help him win this turn. "I will not lose...I will not lose...I WILL NOT LOSE! MY TURN!"

"This will be your last turn, one way or another." Kiryu told the boy.

Yuto looked at the card he drew. 'Thanks, my deck.'

"Let's go, Yuto!" The mysterious voice told the boy.

"Equip Spell Xyz Unit, activate! I equip this card onto Dark Rebellion and he gains 200 ATK times his rank!"

"That's the card you drew? Your dragon isn't close to being as strong as mine!" Kiryu mocked.

"Xyz Unit's other effect! I can treat it as an overlay unit when activating the equipped monster's effect!" Yuto explained.

"That means...!"

"Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's effect activates! By using an overlay unit, I can target a level 5 or higher monster on your field and it loses halve of it's ATK while Dark Rebellion gains the lost amount! TREASON DISCHARGE!" Yuto shouted as his dragon shot a powerful wave of lightning that wrapped around the Synchro monster, restraining it.

The dragon charged in an drove it's purple fangs through the demonic dragon.

A large explosion filled the room causing Yuto to use his jacket cape that he got from Yoko as a shield to protect his eyes. As the smoke faded, the Death God remained standing with 2 blue flames next to him, and somehow his dragon remained intact, but badly wounded.

KIRYU: 0 (DEATH COUNTERS: 0-2)

"2 Death Counters?! What the hell?! You took 2500 Damage! That should have been more than enough!" Yuto shouted.

"It was the Trap Card Infernity Power Flip effect in the graveyard...by banishing it...I could halve the battle damage and my dragon wasn't destroyed." Kiryu explained.

"So you only would have taken 1250 points of damage which would've only resulted in 2 Death Counters...!" Yuto realized.

"But after the battle, both players...TAKE 500 POINTS OF DAMAGE!" Kiryu shouted with a sinister tone.

Yuto fell to the ground out of pain and exhaustion. He tried his best to get up, but he just couldn't. There was nothing he could do to win.

"I couldn't...win..." Yuto uttered as the whole battle field exploded causing both duelist to be consumed by the blast.

Kiryu was the first to get up. He was helped up by his dragon who stood protectively beside him. After getting up, the duelist dusted himself off before inspecting his opponent.

"I guess you're to weak to stand...oh well. Not many besides Crow or Jack could push me that far. I'm sure we'll meet again." Kiryu said walking off before tapping a few buttons on his duel disk. "He's unconscious and on the fourth floor. Take him with the rest."

The two dragons roared at each other before Void Dragon disappeared as it's master walked off. Dark Rebellion flew over to his unconscious master and protectively stood over the boy, before beginning to disappear as the Action Field vanished.

"Master...I'm sorry I couldn't protect you..."

"So you guys are from another dimension...?" A man with orange hair, a brown vest, and a orange shirt said. The man's name was Crow. He was a young adult and he lived in the commons with three kids that he took care of. After saving the Lancers, he offered them refugee in his small home. Though Sawatari complained, they graciously excepted. The only thing Crow asked in return was that they told him who they exactly were.

"That's right." Yuya responded.

"Yuya, Sawatari, and I come from the Standard Dimension while Serena comes from the Fusion Dimension." Masumi explained.

"We are Lancers. That means we are super strong duelist who are fighting against the evil Academia!" Sawatari added in.

"Academia is a place in the Fusion Dimension. I ran from Academia to the Standard Dimension. They showed me what Academia was truly doing and I joined them." Serena said.

"Academia attacked the Xyz Dimension and trapped many of their residents into cards. They tried attacking our dimension during a tournament and we managed to drive them out. The people who fought against the Academia became the Lancers." Yuya said.

"We traveled to this Dimension which is the Synchro Dimension to try and find allies. But we were separated during the teleportation. As far as we know, the Synchro Dimension hasn't been affected by the Dimensional War. But that's why we need to unite so we can take the fight to Academia." Masumi explained.

"Wow...that's a lot...to take in..." Crow said putting his head on his forehead.

"I promise, it's all true." Yuya said.

"I don't understand it all but I can tell your good people. Even you, brat." Crow said looking at Sawatari.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING A BRAT!" Sawatari shouted.

"Shut up, Sawatari." Serena coldly said while making a fist.

"Yes m'am." Sawatari quickly said out of fear.

"Haha." Crow laughed. "You guys can stay as long as you like."

"Crow! Who's this?" A boy asked as three kids walked in.

"These are my new friends. There going to be staying with us for a little while." Crow said.

"Hi! My name is Amanda." The red hair girl said.

"I'm Frank!" The green haired boy said.

"And I'm Tanner." The small blue haired boy said.

"Aren't you a little young to be a Dad?" Sawatari asked.

"It's not like that. They are orphans that I found awhile back and I took them in." Crow explained.

"Crow's the best!" Tanner shouted.

"I'm the Great Sawatari! The founder of Pendulum Summoning! The tomato haired boy is my protégée named Yuya. The dark haired girl is Masumi, she is kinda bossy. And the scary girl is Serena. This little guy is Reira." Sawatari explained.

"Bossy?!" Masumi said offended.

"Scary, that's all?" Serena nonchalantly asked.

"I'm not your protege and you aren't the founder of Pendulum." Yuya said with his arm crossed.

"What's Pendulum?" Tanner asked.

"It's a summon method that we use which I invented." Yuya said before Sawatari could talk.

"Cool!" Amanda said.

"We don't have time for this. I'm going to go find Yuzu and the others." Serena said while walking to the door.

"I wouldn't do that. Security will definitely be looking for you." Crow warned.

"Yeah Serena. Let's wait until tomorrow." Masumi told the girl.

"Are you idiots? They are probably looking for the others as we speak. And they won't be as lucky as us." Serena said.

"We don't know that for sure..." Yuya said.

"Yuzu and I look the same to people who don't know us and so do Yuto, Yugo, and you. That means they will mistake them for us!" Serena argued.

"That may be true, but getting ourselves captured won't help them!" Yuya argued back.

"I won't get captured, trust me." Serena said walking out the door.

"I'll go too. It's better than sitting around here." Sawatari said before running off.

"My god...I'll go with them so they don't get themselves captured. Stay here with Reira that way he doesn't freak out." Masumi told Yuya before catching up with the others.

Yuya sighed before sitting back in his chair.

"Some team you have here, kid." Crow sarcastically said.

"Tell me about it." Yuya said.

"Croooow! I'm hungry!" Tanner whined.

"Alright then! I'll fix you guys up some food!" Crow shouted looking pumped. After a few minutes, he made Tuna Fish sandwiches for every one.

"Yummy! Thanks Crow!" The kids said to the Synchro user.

"What's up, kid? Not hungry?" Crow asked Yuya who wasn't eating.

"I'm ok. I'm just worried." Yuya responded.

"I'm sure your friends will make it back." Crow said.

"Not them. A lot of my friends were separated from us. I'm worried that they didn't get as lucky as us..." Yuya trailed off. "I really want them to be ok...I want her...to be ok..."

"Is this about a girl?" Crow asked with a smirk.

"WHAT?!?! N-NO WAY!" Yuya shouted while greatly blushing which caused the kids to laugh. Even Reira had a small smile.

"Is she pretty?" Crow asked.

"...yeah..." Yuya uttered.

"Did you two kiss?" Crow asked.

"...yeah...WAIT NO!"

"I see. I'm sure she is fine. You were warped here with some of your friends, so there is a good chance she isn't alone." Crow said patting the boy's back in comfort.

"Thanks." Yuya said.

Crow then noticed the kid clinging onto Yuya and knelt down to him.

"You haven't eaten your food either, buddy. Are you ok?" Crow asked Reira.

"I'm ok...I want to see...my brother..." Reira uttered while tightly holding his Bear.

"His brother is our leader, Reiji." Yuya explained.

"Why did your leader bring him here?" Crow asked.

"I...don't know. He is a strong duelist...but he's a child..." Yuya honestly said.

"Don't worry pal. Your friends are looking for your brother. I'm sure you'll see him soon." Crow said patting the boy's head which made him feel a bit of comfort. The boy then smiled before picking up his sandwich and taking a small bite.

"Thank you, Crow." Yuya said.

"No problem, kid." Crow said.

"Hey, Reira! Come over here with us!" Amanda said taking Reira by the hand.

"O-Ok..." Reira said.

"I wish I could make him happy." Yuya said.

"What do you mean?" Crow asked.

"...Reira usually looks so scared and sad. I want to change that! I want to make him happy by putting a smile on his face! By making people smile, I'll be making them happy!" Yuya said with a wide smile.

"You don't get it at all. Having a full stomach makes people happy the most, not smiles." Crow said.

"Smiles are the symbolism of happiness!" Yuya shouted.

"How could you be happy while being starving? Smiles don't fill an empty stomach!" Crow retorted.

"Also, you take 400 damage times the amount of Raikiri's Synchro materials!" Crow shouted as his monster swung it's weapon twice creating 2 red energy slashes that hit Yuya and knocked him back.

"Silver Claw!" Yuya shouted as the Wolf was destroyed.

"Hehe, your pretty good, Crow!" Yuya admitted. So far, Crow has outclassed him, a lot. He hasn't been able to deal any damage at all while he's only had 1500 life points left, with no other cards except for Timegazer Magician in his Pendulum Scale.

Yuya eyes widened as he got a vision of a new monster that looked like a standing wolf with armor that looked like Odd Eyes. "Alright then, you want to fight with me too? In that case, I'll call you out right now!"

"Who is he talking to?" Amanda asked.

"Ladies and Gentleman! This situation isn't looking good for me! I have no monsters on my field and I don't have a complete Pendulum Scale! And I only have 1 card in my hand! But don't worry, because I will be pulling off a miracle that will turn this duel around!" Yuya shouted to his "audience".

Yuya shouted as a monster similar to Silver Claw but a lot larger and standing on two feet appeared. The wolf/dragon hybrid had armor that looked exactly like Odd Eyes with red scales and a white horns. The armor also had a blue orb in the middle. The monster had one red and one green eye along with razor sharp claws. The dragon roared loudly and stood proudly next to Yuya.

"Tch..." Crow now had a bad feeling for what was coming next.

"Alright! Now that your Trap is taken care of, it's time to attack! Battle! Odd Eyes Metal Claw, attack Raikiri the Sudden Shower!" Yuya commanded as his monster charged the winged beast.

"What?! Your monster is way weaker than mine!" Crow said in confusion.

"No way!" Amanda said shocked.

"Go, Metal Claw! Spiral Strike Slash!" Yuya shouted as his monsters claws were enveloped in a shinning red color before slicing through the Synchro monster, causing a minor shockwave that made Crow flinch.

"Oh hell no!" Crow shouted with a smirk. He sure was having fun in this duel. He didn't want to admit it, but Yuya's smile dueling sure was fun to go up against.

"Entermate Balloon Tapir's effect in my hand activates! By discarding it, I take no damage!" Yuya countered as a bubble appeared around him.

"Damn!" Frank shouted in frustration.

"That was so awesome!" Tanner cheered.

"Next is the effect of Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon! When this card is destroyed, I can resurrect an Odd Eyes monster from my face up extra deck or graveyard! Return, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as Odd Eyes returned.

"Damn it...you're a tough one, kid. That's for sure." Crow said.

"Hehe, thanks!" Yuya smiled.

"Now that the battle is over, I activate the effect of Black Feather Trade In in my graveyard! By banishing this while I control 3 or more Black Feathers, I draw 2 cards! I set one card face down and my turn is finished." Crow concluded.

"Alright! My turn! With the Set Scale, Pendulum Summon! Come back, Entermate Drumming Kong!" Yuya shouted as the gorilla returned, again.

"Only one monster? He still has another monster zone left though..." Amanda said confused.

"Now, I summon the tuner monster, Entermate Odd Eyes Synchron!" Yuya shouted as the tuner appeared.

"Tuner? He's gonna Synchro Summon now!" Tanner cheered.

"Odd Eyes Synchron's effect! I can perform a Synchro Summon using a monster in my Pendulum Zone! I tune my level 2 Odd Eyes Synchron to my level 5 Odd Eyes Light Phoenix!" Yuya shouted pointing to Odd Eyes Light Phoenix who flew out of the column as the tuner turned into two green circles that went around the Phoenix.

"What?!" Crow said shocked.

"Blazing dragon with dual colored eyes! Smash through the atmosphere with your burning might and appear! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Dragon of the blazing inferno, Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon!" Yuya chanted as the red Synchro dragon appeared.

Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon (2500/2000) LVL:7

"Amazing!" Tanner cheered.

"Alright! I switch my dragons and Metal Claw into attack mode! My Odd Eyes monsters are ready to fight!" Yuya shouted out as his dragons roared while his new fusion monster howled.

"Go, Yuya!" Tanner cheered.

"Continuous Trap Activate! Black Feather Signal! I target Chidori and you must attack this card first before you attack any other Black Feather monsters! Also, you can't attack Chidori with monsters that have higher levels which means they must be level 7 or lower." Crow explained.

"Battle! Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon! Attack Chidori the Rain Sprinkling! At this moment, Meteorburst effect activates! This card gains 300 ATK for every Odd Eyes monster on my field until the end of the turn!" Yuya shouted as his monster powered up.

Meteorburst Dragon (2500/2000)-(3700/2000)

"Next is Odd Eyes Unicorn's Pendulum Effect! I add Entermate Odd Eyes Metal Claw's ATK to Meteorburst's during this battle-!" Yuya explained but was stopped by Crow.

"Now so fast! While I have 3 or more Assault Black Feather Monsters on my field, I can banish Black Feather Tornado to negate that effect!" Crow countered.

"Trap Activate! Entermate Big Support! I can equip a Entermate in my hand with 1000 or less ATK to a special summoned monster I control! Then, my monster gains ATK equal to double the Entermate that's equipped to it! I equip my 800 ATK Entermate Discover Hippo to Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon!" Yuya explained as the spirit of Discover Hippo was absorbed into the Dragon.

"What?!" Crow said shocked.

"Then, Drumming Kong's effect increases Meteorburst's ATK by 600 for this battle!" Yuya shouted.

"Trap Activate! Black Feather Defense! All of my Black Feather monsters switch to Defense mode!" Crow countered.

"That won't work! Counter Trap Activate! Pendulum Counter! By banishing 3 Pendulum cards in my face up extra deck such as Timegazer Magician, Entermate Silver Claw, and Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix, I can negate the effects of your Trap!" Yuya shouted.

"No way!" Crow shouted.

"Go, Spiral Inferno Burst!" Yuya shouted as the Synchro duelist was thrown back by the Crimson blast.

"Grr...I banish Synchro Endurance to halve the damage!"

"Crow!" Frank shouted in concern.

"The other effect of Black Feather Signal activates when the target is destroyed! Monsters with an equal or lower level than the destroyed monster can't attack this turn! Which means your Pendulum Dragon's can't attack!" Crow shouted.

"Alright! I knew Crow had a plan!" Frank cheered.

"But Metal Claw is level 8!" Amanda realized.

"I'm not done! Metal Claw, attack Kunai the Drizzle! At this moment, all my monsters gain 300 ATK during this battle phase!"

"Go! Spiral Strike Slash!" Yuya shouted as his monster swung it's glowing red claw through the bird causing Crow to get knocked back by the shockwave.

"Crow!" Frank shouted in concern as the Synchro user got up.

"I'm alright...I survived..." Crow uttered before smiling at the teen. "Yuya, you're truly something else. The way you adjust to every move I make. The way you keep up the pressure despite your disadvantage. The way you never give up hope in your cards...it's amazing! This is the funnest duel I've had in a long time!"

"I'm glad I made you smile, Crow. Your dueling style is so much fun to fight against. The way you counter my moves make me work even harder." Yuya said with a happy smile.

"How's Crow gonna come back from this?" Amanda asked Frank.

"I don't know but Crow can do it-"

"Quick Play Spell, Xyz Performance Activate!" Yuya shouted which shocked everyone.

"There's more?!" Frank said in disbelief.

"This card lets me perform a Xyz Summon using Odd Eyes and Entermate monsters! I overlay my level 7 Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Odd Eyes Phantom Dragon! Dragon with dual colored eyes! Eradicate all enemies that opose you with your black scale of wrath! XYZ SUMMON! Come forth! Rank 7! Dragon with Eyes of Rage! Supreme King Black Dragon - Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his black hybrid dragon with a loud roar.

"This is the power of Pendulum and Xyz combined together!" Yuya shouted out.

"...no way..." Crow uttered.

"End this, Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon! Attack Raikiri the Sudden Shower and end this duel!" Yuya commanded his dragon that had purple electricity charging through it's body as it's fangs began to glow.

"..." Crow didn't speak from the shock of this boy's power.

"Take this! REBELLIOUS WRATH STRIKE DISOBEY!" Yuya shouted as his monster tore through the ground with it's glowing fangs and drove through the Synchro monster causing a huge explosion.

CROW: 250-50

"What?!" Yuya said shocked.

"Crow survived!" Frank cheered.

"But how?" Amanda asked.

"...I banished Black Feather Defense along with Chidori to halve the damage and to negate destruction." Crow explained was he got up.

"...Well then, the show must go on!" Yuya surprisingly said.

"Even though you didn't win this turn, you're still smiling?" Crow asked.

"Of course! This duel is so much fun!" Yuya said back.

"Heh." Crow said remembering his old friends and there old smiles.

"I'll set one card face down and end my turn." Yuya concluded. "At this moment, Meteorburst's ATK returns to normal and Discover Hippo is sent to the graveyard."

"Alright! My Black Feathers will never let me down! My turn!" Crow shouted as he drew. He looked at his card and smirked. 'He's got a Synchro monster, a Fusion monster and a Xyz Pendulum Monster. He has that gorilla that can increase attack. He also has Odd Eyes Unicorn, Pendulum Switch, and a set card. Things aren't looking to good for me. I guess I'm going to have to use that...'

"Crow looks like he is getting serious..." Amanda said.

"You've pushed me this far, so there's no going back now! Raikiri's effect activates! Say goodbye to Drumming Kong!" Crow shouted as his monster flew through the air towards the Entermate.

"Pendulum Switch's effect activates! I place Drumming Kong in my Pendulum Scale!" Yuya said as the gorilla jumped up into the blue column, dodging the attack.

Drumming Kong 2 - 8 Odd Eyes Unicorn

"Now I activate the spell card Assault Draw! I release a Assault Black Feather monster on my field to draw 2 cards." Crow explained as Raikiri dissolved.

"He got rid of Raikiri?!" Frank said shocked.

"But why?" Tanner asked.

"Next, I play the Quick Play spell Black Feather Decay! By banishing two Black Feather Tuner monsters, I can destroy two of your spells and traps! Say goodbye to Pendulum Switch and Odd Eyes Unicorn!" Crow shouted.

"Damn..." Yuya uttered.

"While I have no monsters on my field, I can special summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Gofu the Vague Shadow!" Crow shouted.

"When this card is summoned, I can special summon 2 Vague Shadow tokens!"

"What?!" Yuya shouted.

"I tune my level 5 Gofu the Vague Shower to my two level 1 Vague Shadow Tokens! Spread your jet-black wings and storm forth in tandem with your roaring thunder! Slash apart the lightning! Phantom Synchro! Cascade! Level 7! Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower!" Crow shouted as the black and white winged warrior appeared once more.

"Phantom...Synchro...!" Yuya said in astonishment.

"Raikiri's effect activates! I destroy your Drumming Kong once more!" Crow shouted as his monster slashed the gorilla.

"Alright! Now Yuya can't increase his monster's ATK!" Frank cheered.

"I'm not done! I summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Hurricane the Tornado!"

Black Feather - Hurricane the Tornado (0/0) LVL:1

"I tune my level 1 Hurricane the Tornado to my level 7 Raikiri the Sudden Shower! Darkened dragon, spread your pitch-black wings of hope and soar through the sky! Synchro Summon! Soar, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon!" Crow shouted. A ferocious roar enveloped the field as a black dragon appeared. The dragon had pitch-black wings that were red at the tips, a slim black and blue body with a long dark tail, multiple silver blades sticking out of it's body, red and black armor across it's chest, grey claws, a yellow beak, and a pair of red eyes. The dragon flapped it's wings which caused a powerful wind to consume the field.

Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon (2800/1600) LVL:8

"This pressure..." Yuya said as he braved himself from the wind.

"I've never seen that dragon before!" Frank said shocked.

"This is my true ace monster!" Crow shouted with a smirk.

"Amazing..." Yuya said in astonishment.

"Battle! Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon, attack Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon! DARK HURRICANE BURST!" Crow shouted as his monster flapped it's wings creating a powerful whirlwind before firing a black and blue blast which consumed the red dragon.

YUYA: 700-400 LP

"That attack...was so powerful..." Yuya said.

"Turn End." Crow concluded.

"My turn! This is the final act! Battle! Odd Eyes Metal Claw, attack Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon and end this duel!"

Metal Claw (3000/2000)-(3300/2000)

Rebellion Dragon (3000/2500)-(3300/2500)

"This is it! SPIRAL STRIKE SLASH!" Yuya shouted as his monster swung it's glowing red claw at the dragon. But the dragon flew forwards and blocked the attack with it's wings. "What?!"

"Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon's effect! By decreasing it's ATK by the damage I'm about to take, the damage is reduced to 0!"

Dark Storm Dragon (2800/1600)-(2300/1600)

"But you're monster is still destroyed!" Yuya smirked.

"Is that so?" Crow asked.

"What?!" Yuya said worried as his eyes shook.

"Dark Storm's other effect! By banishing a Level 5 or higher Winged Beast-type monster in my graveyard, it can negate destruction by battle! I banish Sohaya! Feather Endurance!" Crow countered.

"...Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon, attack Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon! REBELLIOUS WRATH STRIKE DISOBEY!" Yuya shouted as his dragon charged at the black dragon with it's glowing black fangs. The Synchro monster didn't back down and clashed with the hybrid dragon using it's silver claws.

"Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon's effect! Damage Drain!"

Dark Storm Dragon (2300/1600)-(1300/1600)

"And by banishing Sohaya, it stays on the field! Feather Endurance!"

"Crow's Dragon is so amazing!" Crow cheered.

"...Im not done! Trap Activate! Pendulum Reborn! Be reborn, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his ace monster returned.

Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) LVL:7

"Go, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Attack Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon! Spiral Strike Burst!" Yuya commanded as his dragon jumped high in the air before firing a red blast of energy at the dragon who blocked the attack with it's wings

"Dark Storm's effect! Damage Drain!" Crow shouted.

"When Odd Eyes battles a level 5 or higher monster, the damage is double! Reaction Force!" Yuya shouted.

"That means Crow's dragon will absorb 2400 damage instead of 1200 damage!" Amanda shouted.

Dark Storm Dragon (1300/1600)-(0/1600)

"...By banishing Rakiri, Dark Storm stays on the field! Feather Endurance!" Crow shouted.

"Now you have no more monsters to banish, right?" Yuya asked.

"That's right. And since Dark Storm has 0 ATK, it can't use it's effect anymore to absorb damage..." Crow said.

"Alright! Turn End!" Yuya smiled.

"Hehehehe!" Crow bursted out laughing.

"Crow?" Tanner asked.

"Having fun?" Yuya asked.

"You bet, kid! But sadly, this is the final turn! My turn! Crow shouted as he drew.

"Final turn?!" Yuya said shocked.

"What can Crow even do?" Tanner asked.

"Go, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon! Shadow Gale Blast!" Crow shouted. Crow's dragon roared loudly as the sky above them became dark and the wind increased.

"What the...?!" Yuya uttered in worry.

Dark Storm Dragon (0/1600)-(2800/1600)

"How?!" Yuya said in amazement.

"Dark Storm's effect! Once per turn, I can return Dark Storm's effect to it's original ATK! And for every 700 ATK it gained through this effect...a monster on your field is destroyed!" Crow shouted.

"WHAT?!" Yuya shouted.

"Crow's monster gained 2800 ATK..." Amanda said.

"So Crow can destroy up to 4 monsters!" Frank finished.

"Go, Shadow Gale Strike!" Crow shouted as the dragon shot 3 black and blue energy spheres at Yuya's three monsters. The attacks connected and destroyed the Odd Eyes monsters leaving Yuya completely defenseless.

"...No...way..." Yuya uttered.

"Battle! Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon, Direct Attack! DARK HURRICANE BURST!" Crow shouted as the monster launch a powerful blast at the boy which launched him through the air.

"I...lost..."

YUYA: 400-0 LP

WINNER: CROW!

Yuya hit the ground and remained there for a moment. When he opened his eyes, he saw the hand of Crow extended out to him. Yuya smiled and took his hand.

The kids rushed over to the two in excitement and told them how amazing that duel was. Even Reira did, but shyly.

"Yuya, you are one of the strongest duelists I've ever met, that's for sure!" Crow said.

"Thanks, Crow. I went all out and I lost, which means I have to keep getting stronger!" Yuya enthusiastically said.

"I understand your dueling now. I can see that smiles are important." Crow admitted which made Yuya smile.

But right on cue, Yuya's stomach growled loudly.

"Haha! Smiles are great, but food would be great about now." Yuya said which caused everyone to laugh. This led to the group heading inside and getting some more food.

But little did Yuya and the others know, things were about to take a turn for the worst.

And we are FINALLY DONE! This was such a fun chapter to write but god it took awhile. I wasn't planning to go all out but...I kind of did. And I hope you are all ok with it. During the Climax of the last arc, with Yuzu vs Johan, Yugo vs Manjoume, Yuto vs Kaiser, and Yuya vs Reiji, I thought I stepped my game up a lot. So, I wanted to keep up the quality as much as I possibly could. Chapters are going to start getting longer with the 3v3 duels which I hope you enjoy. Now onto the duels.

As you know, I really like Yuto's character. And I also really like bad ass characters like Hell Kaiser, Dark Johan, Jack Atlas, Kiryu, Kaito, Shark/Nash, etc. I thought about what duelists to add into my story from 5Ds for the Synchro arc. And one of the people I came up with was Kiryu. And he was really easy to fit in the story. I even made a plot for him so he won't be a used as a tool villain. And since I like Yuto so much, I had him duel Kiryu because I thought that matchup would be awesome. I know what you are thinking, "why didn't I let Yugo or Yuya duel Kiryu? Yuto already dueled the bad ass Hell Kaiser!" For one, I let Yuto duel Kiryu because I thought it worked well with the story. I also thought it would be a good match up. I was going to make Yuto lose, but he basically just lost to Kaiser. I want each main character to have a rival during this arc and Yuto's rival will be Kiryu. I also gave Kiryu that new Hell Archfiend card that is coming out, which I called Hell Daemon since I use the Japanese names. I hope you didn't mind the cards I gave to Kiryu and I hope you liked his ace, which I made by combining his manga ace and anime ace's names.

For the other duel, it was one of my favorite duels to write. I actually really like Arc v Crow better than most of the other original legacy duelists so he will be a lot more of a main character in this arc. So if you read when I was talking about Season Rivals, Crow isn't going to be Yuya's rival. Since they are on the same team, they will be more like mentor/friends. I had Crow win because I want him to evolve more. Crow is also an amazing duelist and is special, which will be revealed later on. I hope you liked the appearance of Odd Eyes Metal Claw and Crow's ace dragon, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon! I'm trying to give all of the 5Ds crew new ace dragons instead of using the manga ones. Also, if you forgot or don't know, "Black-Feather" can't be treated as "Black Feather".
