Hey guys! Sorry it's been two weeks but this was a somewhat hard chapter to make. This chapter will have an OC it in because I wanted to make a cool duel with a certain deck. Where the hell am I?" Was the only thing Yuto was thinking about as he scanned his surroundings. He had woken up in a bed which was in a small grey room.
The last thing the boy rembered was his drawing with Kiryu before blacking out. He did remember hearing a voice which wasn't Kiryu's but that was the least of his worries.
He looked to his side and saw his deck, but not his duel disk. He grabbed his deck and went through it, making sure none of his cards were stolen or torn. He cared a lot about his deck.
"Yuto, was it? I'm happy that we are finally able to meet." A voice said.
Yuto quickly turned around and saw a man with blonde hair and blue eyes who was wearing purple clothes.
"Who the hell are you?" Yuto asked.
"My name is Roget ." The man said with a smirk.
"You were the one that sent that Death God guy after me, aren't you?" Yuto asked.
"How perceptive. You definitely are smarter then the other two, that's for sure." Roget said which got Yuto's attention.
"Other two...you don't mean...!"
"Yuya and Yugo, those are there names, right?" Roget smirked.
"You...bastard...what did you do to them?!" Yuto shouted.
"Nothing...yet." Roget answered.
"Damn you!" Yuto shouted as he rushed forward and punched the man. But, the punch went right through the man. "A Hologram?!"
"Don't worry, we will meet in person soon enough." Roget said.
"What the hell do you want with us?!" Yuto shouted.
"Settle down. If you want me to answer your questions, then I need you to do something for me." Roget smiled. Suddenly, the wall behind him opened up, revealing a duel court.
"You want me to duel?" Yuto asked.
"Precisely." Roget told the boy. Yuto didn't know what Roget was up to, but he needed answers. So, he walked over and grabbed his deck.
"Fine. But when I win, you are going to take me to my friends!" Yuto shouted.
"It will be done." Roget nodded.
"I need a duel disk."
"Use this one." A voice said coming from the next room. A green duel disk was thrown at Yuto, who caught it.
"So you're my opponent?" Yuto asked the person in front of him.
In front of Yuto was a 18 teen year old boy, who was nearly as tall as Shun. He had a blue Security outfit on and had a light blue duel disk with a dark blue blade. He had light blue hair and dark blue eyes.
"You are right about that. I am Officer Frost! And I'll defeat you!" The older teen shouted.
"Frost here is a hero to the people of the City for defeating many criminal duelists. I've asked him here to duel you." Roget said.
"Fine. I won't back down!" Yuto said as he activated the green duel disk which had a indigo blade.
"DUEL!"

'I don't know why they are making me duel...but I'll win!' Yuto thought to himself. "My turn! I summon Phantom Knights Clove Helm!"

"Next, I activate the spell card Graceful Charity! I draw three cards! And then I discard two." Yuto explained. As he discarded his cards, his monster was enveloped in a blue aura.

"What's this?" Frost asked.
"Clove Helm gains 500 ATK whenever a Phantom Knights card is sent to the graveyard. Since I just sent 2 Phantom Knights cards from my hand to the graveyard, my monster gained 1000 ATK." Yuto explained.
"Interesting." Frost said.
"I'm not done! I activate the effect of Phantom Knights Fragile Armor in my graveyard! By banishing it and discarding a card from my hand, I can draw again! And since I discarded another Phantom Knight, Clove Helm gains another 500 ATK!"

"A level 4 monster with 3000 ATK...not bad." Frost complimented.
"I set 2 cards face down, turn end." Yuto concluded.
"Alright. My turn!" Frost shouted as he drew. He looked at his card and smirked. "This will be fun! I activate the spell card Frozen Call! While I control no monsters, I can check the top card of my deck, and if it is a Ice Barrier monster, I can special summon it!"
"Ice Barrier...?" Yuto muttered.
"And the card is...General Grunard of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a warrior in blue crystal armor appeared.

"A level 8 monster out of the gate..." Yuto uttered in amazement.
"Since I successfully summoned a monster thanks to Frozen Call, I'm forced to discard a card from my hand. And if that card is a Ice Barrier monster, I can draw a card!" Frost explained as he discarded a card, and then drew again. "Next, I activate the spell card Magic Triangle of the Ice Barrier! By revealing 3 Ice Barrier monsters in my hand, I can destroy a card on your field!"
"What?!" Yuto shouted.
"I reveal General Gentala of the Ice Barrier, Samurai of the Ice Barrier, and Pilgrim of the Ice Barrier!" Frost exclaimed as the three spirits of his monsters appeared on his field and charged a magical attack that was light blue colored. "Go! Destroy Clove Helm!"
"Damn it..." Yuto shouted as his only monster was destroyed.
"It's not over! Due to my spell's effect, I can special summon an Ice Barrier monster from my hand! Come forth, General Gantala of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a bald warrior with blue armor and clothing apppeared.

"No way...!" Yuto said in amazement.
"Hehe...I'm not done! General Gantala's effect! I can revive an Ice Barrier monster in my graveyard! I revive the monster I discarded earlier, General Raiho of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a warrior with blue clothing and a blue battle fan appeared.

"So many high level monsters...with out any normal summons..." Yuto realized.
"Now I'll normal summon Pilgrim of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a man in yellow, red, and indigo clothing appeared.

"Due to the effect of General Grunard, I can perform an additional normal summon! I'll summon Samurai of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a warrior in white samurai armor appeared on his field.

"5 monsters..." Yuto gulped as he stared at the frozen warriors on his opponent's field.
"Now...Will You Survive?! Battle!" Frost shouted with a grin. "General Grunard, Direct Attack!"
"Trap Activate! Drain Shield!" Yuto shouted as a shield appeared around him. The warrior clashed against the shield as Yuto was enveloped in a green aura. "The attack is negated and I gain life points equal to your monster's ATK!"
YUTO: 4000-6800 LP
"It doesn't matter! Go, Samurai and Pilgram! Direct attack!" Frost commanded as he pointed at Yuto. Both monster's rushed at Yuto and attack one after the other. Yuto was knocked back twice to the ground, but got back up. The damage he felt was definitely increased because he was in not pain than usual.

"Go, General Raiho! Direct Attack!" Frost shouted as his monster leaped through the air and slashed Yuto with his battle fan, causing his to gasp in pain.

"Now this is the end! General Gantala...END THIS DUEL!" Frost commanded at the top of his lungs. His monster jumped high up and charged through the air at Yuto.
"...Trap Activate! Nutrient Z!" Yuto shouted before the General's attack connected, knocking Yuto across the floor, but the phantom knights user managed to keep his footing.

"What the hell?!" The Ice Barrier shouted in confusion.
"Nutrient Z gives me a 4000 life point boost before I would take 2000 points of damage or more." Yuto explained.
"He managed to survive 5 attacks with a large amount of life points left...impressive..." Roget commented from the observatory room.
"Heh...I can tell you'll be a fun opponent. I set one card face down, turn end." Frost concluded.
"My turn!" Yuto shouted as he drew. "I activate the spell card Phantom Knights Treasure! I can banish up to 3 of my Phantom Knights to draw the same amount banished plus 1! I banish the 3 I discarded earlier...to draw 4 cards!"
"Drawing more cards, eh?"
"With the Scale 1 Phantom Knights Forgotten Dagger and Scale 6 Phantom Knights Lost Utilities, set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuto shouted as his two original pendulum cards appeared in the blue columns.

"Due to the effects of my cards in my Pendulum Zones, I can Pendulum Summon Phantom Knights Spell and Trap monsters from my hand or graveyard! But they are banished when they leave the field!" Yuto explained.
"What?!" Frost shouted.
"I can now simultaneously summon monsters with levels 2 through 5! Swing Pendulum of the fallen! Draw an arc across the battlefield and call forth the souls of rebellion! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! My undying comrades! The spell monster, Phantom Knights Shadow Veil! The trap monster, Phantom Knights Dark Gauntlet! Phantom Knights Damp Torch! Phantom Knights Scarred Sage!" Yuto shouted as the 4 monsters appeared.

"They may not be the strongest...but when together...my Phantom Knights can beat anything! I overlay my level 4 Shadow Veil and Dark Gauntlet!" Yuto shouted as his spell and trap monsters flew into the overlay network.
"Huh?!"
" Fangs of pitch-black darkness! Rise up against the foolish oppression! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his ace dragon appeared with a roar.

"Lost Utilities other Pendulum Effect! When Phantom Knights on my field that were pendulum summoned are used as Xyz material, I can draw a card!" Yuto explained as he drew again. "Next I activate the effect of Scarred Sage! I can target a level 4 or lower Phantom Knight and both of their levels become equal to their combined amount! I target Damp Torch!"
"Not so fast! General Raiho forces you to discard a card whenever you activate the effect of a monster on your field! And if you choose to not discard a card, the effect is negated!" Frost shouted.
"Then I'll discard a card." Yuto said as he discarded his 1 card in his hand.

"Now I overlay my level 5 Scarred Sage and Damp Torch! Armored warrior emerging from darkness! Use your blades to slash through our enemies! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 5! Phantom Knights Berserker Blader!" Yuto shouted as his warrior with two swords from the duel with Serena appeared.

"Not so fast! Raiho forces you to discard a card!"
"Tch...I'll discard a card, to activate Berserker Blader's effect! Once per turn, by using an overlay unit, I can target a monster on your field and it's destroyed! Then you take damage equal to it's rank or level times 300! I target General Raiho!" Yuto shouted as his monster charged at the warrior. The knight swung both of it's swords and destroyed the warrior, causing a shockwave the knocked Frost back.

"Tch..." Frost clicked his tongue as he got up.
"Dark Rebellion's effect! By using an overlay unit, I can target a level 5 or higher monster on my opponents field and it loses half of it's ATK while Dark Rebellion gains the lost amount! I use this effect twice on both of your generals! Treason Discharge!"

"...Trap Activate! Ice Defense Circle! The damage from a battle involving a Ice Barrier monster is reduced to 0 this turn!" Frost countered as a magical blue barrier appeared around him. "Then, whenever a Ice Barrier monster is destroyed, I can draw a card!"
"Berserker Blader, Attack General Gantala! Cross Slash!" Yuto commanded as his knight swung it's swords, creating an X-Shaped blast the destroyed the General.
"I take no damage and draw once more." Frost said as he drew.
"But all your powerful monsters are no longer with you. I set a card facedown, turn end." Yuto concluded.
"My turn. Time to start getting serious." Frost said with a smirk.
"He wasn't serious before..." Yuto muttered to himself.
"I summon the tuner monster, Dewdark of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a bandit in red and purple clothes with knives in his hands appeared.

"I tune my level 2 Dewdark to my level 4 Pilgrim! Sapphire of the aurora, shine your crystal blue light and command the frozen winds! Synchro Summon! Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a dragon seemingly made out of ice that glowed light blue appeared.

"That monster is weaker than both of mine!" Yuto shouted.
"Brionac's effect activates! By discarding cards in my hand, I can return a monster on your field to your hand!" Frost smirked.
"What?!" Yuto shouted in concern.
"I discard my two cards in my hand to send both of your monsters back to the extra deck!" Frost shouted as dragon flapped it's wings, causing an icy wind that sent Yuto's dragon and knight flying through the air and back to the extra deck. "Now you have no monsters on your field! And Brionac along with Samurai will be able to finish you off!"
"No way...!" Yuto said in shock.
"Battle! Brionac, Direct Attack! Alpha Blizzard!" Frost shouted as his monster sent a powerful blue blast towards Yuto.
"Trap Activate! Negate Attack! This card negates the attack and forces the Battle Phase to end!" Yuto countered as a barrier protected him from taking any damage.
"Clever, but futile in the end. My turn is over." Frost concluded.
"My turn! I activate the spell card Pot of Greed! I draw 2!" Yuto shouted as he drew, replenishing his empty hand. "With the set scale, Pendulum Summon! Come forth my undying comrades! Phantom Knights Ancient Cloak! Phantom Knights Ragged Gloves!"

By banishing this card during my opponent's battle phase, I can release a Ice Barrier monster on my field and half of it's ATK is added to another Ice Barrier monster! I release Samurai and add it's ATK to Brionac!" Frost shouted as his warrior turned into blue energy that shot into the dragon.

"Go, Brionac! Counter attack!" Frost commanded as his monster shot a powerful icy blast that caused a minor shockwave which made Yuto flinch.

"...Break Sword's effect! When this card leaves the field, I can summon it's Xyz Materials as level 4 monsters!" Yuto shouted as Ancient Cloak and Ragged Gloves returned.
"Summoning your monsters back, eh? What good will that do?" Frost taunted.
"...My attack isn't over! Quick Play Spell, Phantom Knights Double Badge, activate!" Yuto shouted.
"Huh?"
"After a battle in which I took damage, I can perform a Xyz Summon using Phantom Knights on my field!" Yuto explained.
"What?! You had a back up plan?!"
"I overlay my level 4 Ancient Cloak and Ragged Gloves! Fangs of pitch-black darkness! Rise up against the foolish oppression! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his ace returned.

"That dragon again? What could that possibly do?" Frost asked.
"Have you forgotten? Ragged Glove's effect gives Dark Rebellion 1000 extra ATK." Yuto explained.

"And why stop there? I banish Phantom Knights Double Badge in my graveyard to activate it's other effect! I can detach both of Dark Rebellion's overlay units and it gains 500 ATK for each one detached!"

"And since it's still the battle phase, I can still attack with my dragon! Dark Rebellion, Attack Brionac! Revolt of Lightning Disobey!" Yuto shouted. His dragon's fangs glowed purple as purple electricity flowed through out it's body. The dragon flew through the air and drove it's fangs through the icy dragon, causing a huge explosion that knocked Frost to the ground.

"Grr..." Frost growled in anger as he got up.
"It seems that the increased pain of the Solid Vision is doing more to you then it is to me." Yuto said.
"What did you say?!"
"Give up before I'm forced to hurt you even more." Yuto told the boy with a serious look in his eye.
"I...I will pummel you into the ground for trying to pity me!" Frost angrily shouted.
"Fine then. Turn end." Yuto concluded. "At this moment, Dark Rebellion's ATK returns to normal."
Roget looked at the boy and smirked. 'His adaptability is remarkable like the other two...possibly even better.'
"My turn. Draw!" Frost shouted with a voice full of anger. "I activate the effect of Supplier of the Ice Barrier in my hand! While this card is in the only card in my hand while I control no monsters, I can discard it to draw 3 cards!"
"He refueled his hand..." Yuto muttered.
"Next, I summon the tuner monster, Mage of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a woman in a blue cloak appeared.

"When this card is normal summoned while my opponent controls more cards then I do, I can special summon a level 4 or lower Ice Barrier monster in my graveyard! Revive, Samurai of the Ice Barrier!"

"I tune my level 3 Mage to my level 4 Samurai! Ruby of the aurora, shine your red light across the field and appear in a blinding storm! Synchro Summon! Level 7! Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted. A dragon made of blue crystals, similar to Brionac, but with a red glow appeared.

"Another dragon...!" Yuto said with an alarmed tone.
"Gungnir's effect activates! I can discard up to two cards...and cards equal to the amount that were discarded are destroyed!" Frost explained with a grin.
"What?!"
"I discard two cards to destroy Dark Rebellion and Lost Utilities!" Frost shouted as his monster shot a red blast that consumed the dragon and the pendulum card in a huge explosion.
"Dark Rebellion!" Yuto shouted.
"Battle! Gungnir, Direct Attack! Omega Blizzard!" Frost commanded as his monster shot a red and blue blast directly at Yuto.
"...I activate the effect of Phantom Knights Torn Cape! I can special summon it in defense mode and to take the attack instead!" Yuto shouted as the small monster expanded it's cape outwards to protect the Xyz user.
"Grr...you are really pissing me off! I set 2 cards face down, turn end." Frost concluded with an angry tone.
'With no other cards in my hand...I need to draw a good card that will help me!' Yuto thought to himself as he gripped the top card of his deck. "My turn! I activate the spell card...Treasure of the Heavens! We both draw until we have 6 cards in our hands!"
"And since we both have no cards in our hand, we both draw 6!" Frost commented as the two drew new hands. He didn't mind that Yuto now had a new hand, because he got a new hand as well.
"With the Scale 5 Phantom Knights Unholy Sorcerer, I reset the Pendulum Scale!"

"Abyss Swordsman's effect activates! I can revive a rank 4 or lower DARK Xyz monster from my graveyard! Return, Dark Rebellion!" Yuto shouted as his ace returned.
"Again...?!" Frost said being clearly annoyed.
"Next, Unholy Sorcerer's Pendulum Effect! I can revive a DARK Xyz monster whose rank is in between the set Pendulum Scale! Revive, Break Sword!" Yuto shouted as his knight returned.
"How many monsters are you going to summon?!" Frost shouted.
"You sure have a temper, huh? I activate the spell card Xyz Treasure! This card lets me draw a card for each Xyz monster on the field! There are two...so I draw two cards! Now I'll activate the spell Phantom Knights Possession! I treat Break Sword as having the same level as Abyss Swordsman!"

"Now I overlay my level 7 Break Sword and Abyss Swordsman! Fang of Rebellion, descend from the purified darkness and destroy those who oppose your order! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 7! Dark Anthelion Dragon!" Yuto shouted as his hybrid dragon appeared with a loud roar.

"Damn it...I set a card, turn end." Yuto concluded. "At this moment, Dark Anthelion's effect ends."
"Grrr...my turn!" Frost shouted as he drew. He looked at his card and smirked. "I guess it's time to bring it out..."
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this..." Yuto said to himself.
"I activate the spell card Monster Reborn! Revive, Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as his red and blue dragon returned.
"Not that dragon again...!"
"Gungnir's effect activates! By discarding 2 cards, I can destroy two cards on your field! Destroy Dark Rebellion and Dark Anthelion!" Frost commanded
"Dark Anthelion's effect! By detaching an overlay unit, your monster's ATK is halved while my monsters gains that lost amount! Absorb Eclipse!" Yuto countered.

"But both of your dragon's are destroyed!" Frost shouted as both monsters were hit with shards of ice the caused a huge explosion.
"Tch...!" Yuto clicked his tongue. "When Dark Anthelion is destroyed, I can place it in my Pendulum Zone by destroying one of the cards in my Pendulum Zone! I destroy Unholy Sorcerer!"

"That was a smart move...weakening my monsters while increasing your life to minimize the damage you were about to take...but it won't matter! I summon the tuner monster, Prior of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a priest cloaked in blue appeared.

"I activate the Quick Play Spell, Cyclone! I destroy your set card!" Frost shouted as a black cyclone destroyed Yuto's set card.
"Damn..."
"Battle! Prior of the Ice Barrier, Direct Attack!" Frost commanded as his monster shot a blue blast from it's staff at Yuto, causing him to get knocked back a few inches.

"Go, Grunard! Direct Attack! Omega Blizzard!" Frost shouted as his dragon shot a blue and red blast that hit the ground in front of Yuto, sending him flying backwards.

"...tsk...!" Yuto grunted as he got off the ground.
"Why are you getting up? My attack isn't over just yet!" Frost shouted.
"What?!" Yuto shouted.
"Trap Activate! Urgent Tuning! After this card is activated, I can perform a Synchro Summon!"
"A Synchro Summon during the battle phase?!"
"I tune my level 2 Prior to my level 7 Grunard! Dragon frozen in the deep depths of the arctic, break free from your glacier prison and bring forth the most powerful blizzard! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 9! Trishula, Dragon of the Icy Barrier!" Frost shouted. In a bright flash of blue light, an extremely large three headed dragon appeared with a loud and ferocious roar. The dragon's body was white and dark blue while it's wings were white and light blue at the bottom. The dragon had yellow eyes with a yellow gem on each of it's heads.

As the dragon appeared, temperature in the room suddenly dropped, causing Yuto to shiver.
"That dragon...!" Yuto said in confusion and shock from the pressure.
"When Trishula is summoned, it's effect activates! I can banish a card from your hand, a card from your field, and a card from your graveyard!" Frost explained as his monster powered up an attack in each of it's mouths.
"An effect like that...no way!" Yuto shouted as he realized what his opponent was about to do.
"Let's go! Since you have only one card in your hand, that card is banished!" Frost shouted his dragon's right head shot an ice blast that shot through the card in Yuto's hand.
"...!" Yuto's widened as the frozen card began crumbling, and eventually shattered.
"Next, I banish Dark Anthelion Dragon on your field!" Frost shouted as his dragon's right head shot an icy blast at the dragon in Yuto's Pendulum zone, causing it to become frozen before cracking and shattering.
"Dark Anthelion!" Yuto shouted.
"Finally...I banish Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon in your graveyard!" Frost shouted. Suddenly, the spirit of Dark Rebellion appeared in front of the huge dragon.
"No, stop it!" Yuto shouted.
Using it's center head, the dragon shot a powerful icy blast at the dragon, causing it to freeze.
"DARK REBELLION!" Yuto shouted with a enraged expression.
"Do it, Trishula!" Frost commanded as his monster flung it's tail around and hit the dragon, shattering it.
"No..." Yuto said as he fell to his knees.
"What's wrong? Are you upset that I took out your dragons?" Frost asked with a smirk.
"How dare you...!" Yuto said as he looked down while darkness covered the top of his face.
"There just duel monsters." Frost said. This really ticked Yuto off.
Dark Rebellion had always been there for him. Even though they were just cards, his deck was his family. And Dark Rebellion was his partner.
"You...won't get away with this..!" Yuto said as he clenched his fists.
"Heh. My battle phase isn't over so I can attack once more! Go, Trishula! Direct Attack! GLACIER IMPACT!" Frost commanded as his monster shot a powerful icy blast from each of it's three heads.
"GAAAAHHH!" Yuto shouted as he was consumed by the blast, sending him flying through the air into the wall of the room.

"Hahaha! Not so mighty now, are you?" Frost taunted.
"..." Yuto silently got up as darkness covered the top of his face.
"What a joke. And Roget wanted me to go all out on you too..." Frost taunted even more.
"I'll make you pay...GAH!" Yuto shouted in pain as his eyes flashed blue and he grasped his head in pain.
"It's happening." Roget commented.
'NO! I can't lose control! That's what they want! But...I will revenge Dark Rebellion! I'll defeat him!' Yuto thought as he grasped his chest while his eyes returned to be grey.
"He resisted? Interesting." Roget said.
"In that case, I set a card facedown, turn end." Frost concluded.
"My turn..." Yuto said as he closed his eyes and placed his hand on his deck. He then opened his eyes and glared directly at his opponent. "...DRAW!"
"Continuous Trap Activate, Frozen Soul! This card can only be activated while I control only an Ice Barrier Synchro monster. I target Trishula and it's unaffected by card effects! Also, this card gains 200 ATK for each of it's Synchro Materials!" Frost explained as his monster powered up.

"Now there is no way you'll be able to win!" Frost shouted.
"You think so?"
"What?!"
"I activate the spell card Pot of Darkness! By banishing Silent Boots and Damp Torch, I draw 2 cards!" Yuto shouted as he drew. He looked at his cards and then glared at his opponent. "I activate the spell card Re-Xyz! I target an Xyz monster in my graveyard and then I can use monsters in my graveyard the meet the requirements as Xyz materials for an Xyz Summon!"
"What?!" Frost exclaimed.
"I overlay my level 3 Ancient Cloak and Ragged Gloves! Souls of the Knights who fall on the battlefield. Now revive, become the light that rends the darkness! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 3! Phantom Knights Break Sword!" Yuto chanted as his knight appeared.

"And then Break Sword gains 1000 ATK thanks to the effect of Ragged Gloves." Yuto explained as his monster powered up.

"But your monster is still 100 ATK lower than Trishula! You can't win!" Frost shouted.
"I...activate the spell card Rank Up Magic Phantom Knights Rise! By banishing 2 phantom knights cards in my grave, I can rank up Break Sword 2 ranks higher!" Yuto shouted as his knight turned into dark energy that flew back into the overlay network.
"Rank Up?!"
"From the depth of purgatory, sing the song of rebellion dedicated to the restless souls! Let it echo for all eternity and appear! RANK UP XYZ CHANGE! Come forth! Rank 5! DARK REQUIEM XYZ DRAGON!" Yuto exclaimed as the evolved form of his ace which was a purple dragon with black and grey armor and stained glass-like wings appeared.

"So you Summoned back another form of your dragon? It doesn't matter because it's still 100 ATK short!"
"Have you forgotten? Since Ragged Gloves was used as Xyz material once more, Dark Requiem gains 1000 ATK!" Yuto shouted as his dragon powered up.

"So I'll take 900 damage...T-That means...!" Frost stuttered.
"He has just enough ATK to finish his opponent off." Roget commented.
"This Is For Dark Rebellion! Battle! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon, attack Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier! REQUIEST..." The dragon flew up into the air and spread out it's stained glass wings.
"DISASTOR..." The dragon's fang glowed brightly purple as the dragon began to fly down towards the dragon.
"DISOBEY!" Yuto shouted as his dragon charged through the center of the dragon, causing a huge explosion that sent Frost flying backwards into the wall.

"Damn...you...!" Frost uttered before falling unconscious.
"Excellent." Roget said as he walked back onto the field.
"I won! Now take me to my friends!" Yuto shouted.
"Since you won, you may join your friends." Roget said as he grabbed something in his pocket. Roget presses the clicker that was in his pocket and the duel disk that Roget had given him began beeping.
"What the hell-AAAAAHHHH!" Yuto shouted in pain as suddenly, the duel disk ignited in electricity, causing a shock to run through Yuto's body which knocked him unconscious.
"Throw him in the cell with the others." Roget ordered.
"Yes sir." Two Officers said as they picked up the Yuto by the arms and carried him off.
It had been a day since Crow and Yuya saved the others. Serena and Yuzu had been sleeping in the two beds in the storage room while Yugo was sleeping in Crow's room. Sawatari, Masumi, and Crow were sitting at the table while the kids along with Reira were in their room looking through Reira's deck, seemingly amazed by the boy's cards. Yuya was pacing through the house and mumbling on how he should've gotten there sooner.
"Yuya, you should sit down." Masumi said to the tomato haired boy.
"Yeah, kid. Pacing around won't help anyone." Crow added in.
"Maybe I should go check on her again?" Yuya said.
"My god! Worrying about her won't wake her up!" Sawatari angrily shouted at his fellow Pendulum duelist.
"Yo!" A voice said causing everyone to turn there heads towards Crows room.
"Oh, it's you." Sawatari said as he saw the Synchro duelist.
"Hey guys!" Yugo said waving.
"Yugo!" Yuya shouted as he hugged his friend. "Are you ok?"
"Relax Yuya, I'm fine. Just needed some rest. It isn't the first time that I woke up in a stranger's home after being beat up in a duel." Yugo said which made the boy sigh in relief. "What about Yuzu and Serena? How are they?"
"They're still sleeping." Yuya said.
"I hope there ok..." Yugo said before looking at the others. But his eyes widened when he saw the Black Bird Duelist as he froze in place. "ACK!"
"Uhh, is he ok?" Sawatari asked.
"Yugo! Yugo!" Yuya said as he waved his hands in front of Yugo, trying to snap him out of it.
"I got this." Masumi said walking over to Yugo, and slapped him on the back of the head, knocking him out of his state of shock.
"OW!"
"What the hell was that?" Sawatari asked.
"Sorry...Sorry...it's just that...you're Crow Hogan...THE Crow hogan...the legendary Black Bird Duelist!" Yugo shouted as he proceeded to run over and shook Crow's hand repeatedly.
"Oh uh...it's nice to meet you...Yugo, was it?" Crow said as he scratched the back of his head.
"Are you famous or something?" Sawatari asked the Synchro resident.
"Are you kidding? Of course he is! He's one of the members of Team Satisfaction!" Yugo shouted.
"Team...Satisfaction? What's that?" Yuya asked.
"Years ago, Team Satisfaction participated in the Friendship Cup and won which resulted in Jack Atlas becoming the Duel King!" Yugo explained with an excited tone.
"Friendship Cup? Isn't that the tournament you always talk about?" Yuya asked.
"Yup!" Yugo proudly answered.
"If you're famous, then why the hell are you still in this wasteland?" Sawatari asked.
"It's...complicated..." Crow told the group.
"Please tell us! Please! Please! Please! Please!" Yugo begged.
"Alright! I'll tell you..." Crow sighed.
"Hell Yeah!" Yugo cheerfully shouted.
"It all started a LONG time ago...Kiryu, Jack, and I grew up in the same orphanage in the Commons."
"You guys grew up in the same orphanage?" Yugo asked surprised. "I knew you were all from the commons, but not from the same orphanage!"
"That's right. We didn't have much, but we had each other. We were sick and tired of being treated like garbage and wanted to serve justice to those thugs in the streets and the corrupt Security. So, Jack, Kiryu, and I formed Team Satisfaction. We defeated any criminal or officer that was in our way. But we couldn't truly make any changes to our society. But then, we had an idea. We decided to participate in the Friendship Cup as Team Satisfaction."
"What? You joined a tournament as a team?" Yuya asked.
"And what is this Friendship Cup?" Masumi questioned.
"The Friendship Cup is a tournament that is suppose to represent unity between the Tops and Commons. It's a tournament where teams with up to 3 duelist can participate in riding duels. The winners get the right to challenge the king in a duel." Yugo explained.
"That's correct. Jack, Kiryu, and I were able to win through our powerful dueling and managed to become the champions. When we were given the opportunity to become Tops and the leaders of New Domino City, we had to make a decision. Kiryu didn't want to be placed in a leadership role so he declined. And I declined since it was never my intention to become a Top. I just wanted to show everyone that us Commons were just as important and powerful as the Tops, and becoming a Top would defeat the whole purpose of my beliefs." Crow told the group.
"Wow..." Yuya said with an amazed tone.
"Since at least one of us had to accept and because he was the leader of our team, Jack excepted and became the lone Duel King. He promised Kiryu and I that he would fight for the rights of commons and one day we would all be equals..." Crow said as his hand curled up into a fist.
"Crow...?" Yuya asked.
"...But he lied! Just like all the other Tops! As soon as he got the chance, Jack took the opportunity to abandon us so he could live up in the big city! And since he's been king, nothing's changed! Commons are still treated like trash, and Tops have it all! Meanwhile, Jack sits on his throne as King! But he is no king...he's a no good traitorous bastard!" Crow shouted as he punched the table.
"You're wrong!" Yugo shouted which caused everyone to turn to him.
"What did you say?!" Crow shouted.
"I said you're wrong! Jack isn't a traitorous bastard! He's a symbol of hope! Hope that one day, we'll be able to leave this hell hole, despite being a common!" Yugo shouted.
"Don't you get it? He could end the discrimination between Tops and Commons if he really wanted to! He could end the suffering that us commons have to endure! But what does he do?! He just sits on his throne and enjoys his wealth!" Crow shouted.
"That's a lie!" Yugo shouted back while advancing towards Crow.
"No it isn't!" Crow shouted back, stepping forwards.
"Guys! Guys! Settle down. We aren't enemies with each other, right?" Yuya said as he stepped in the middle of the two.
"Grr...you are right..." Yugo said as he backed off.
"Good..." Yuya sighed in relief.
Suddenly, everyone turned to the door when two knocks can from outside. Crow walked up to the door and opened it.
"Shinji!" Crow shouted as he fist bumped his friend. A man with double colored purple hair that has strands of blue in the base of his hair and green eyes walked in the door and waved at the group. The man was wearing a black D-Wheel suit that had strands of blue on his tights and chest with a yellow pattern across his mid chest.
"Who?" Sawatari asked.
"He's one of the guys that helped rescue you all from Security when you first arrived." Crow explained.
"Yup! It's great to meet you all!" Shinji smiles at the group.
"He also helps me with the kids." Crow explained further.
"Yo, Crow. Do you have any extra D-Wheels or anything that I could use to drive back to my place? I need to pick up my own D-Wheel." Yugo explained.
"There's no need for that. I could drop you off and you could pick it up." Shinji offered.
"Really?! Thanks dude!" Yugo said as he hurried out the door while Shinji followed behind him.
"Thanks Shinji!" Crow shouted as his friend drive off.
"In any case, we need to find the rest of our comrades." Masumi told Yuya and Sawatari.
"Yeah, so far there are 7 of us together. Us three, Reira, Yuzu, Serena, and Yugo." Yuya mentioned.
"We still need to find Hokuto, Roy, Yaiba, Shun, Dennis, Gongenzaka, Yuto, Tsukikage, and Reiji." Sawatari told the other two.
"Hopefully some of them, if not all of them are together." Masumi said.
"That would be nice." Sawatari sighed. He knew it wouldn't be that easy.
"Hey guys..." A girl's voice said which revealed to be Yuzu standing beside Serena in the hall.
"Y-Yuzu! You're alright!" Yuya shouted with glee as he jumped up and hugged the girl, who hugged him back. As they hugged, they realized they were in front of the others and immediately jumped backwards while blushing.
"They really should get a room..." Sawatari groaned.
"Serena, Yuzu, how are you guys feeling." Masumi asked.
"I'm fine. Although, I mostly feel immensely pissed." Serena grumbled.
"I'm ok. Just needed to sleep if off." Yuzu reassured her friends.
"That's good to hear." Masumi said happily.
"Yuya...can I speak to you for a moment...?" Yuzu asked.
"S-Sure." Yuya said as the two walked into the storage room.
"Huh, so they did get a room." Sawatari said out loud.
"Shut up, Sawatari." Masumi said to the blonde.
Meanwhile, Yuya and Yuzu were sitting on the bed that Yuzu was laying in earlier.
"Yuya...I..." Yuzu said as she began to tear up.
"What is is Yuzu?" Yuya asked in concern.
"I thought I was going to lose you...!" Yuzu said as she hugged the boy tightly.
"Jeez...you're hugs are almost as strong as Gongenzaka's..." Yuya said as he hugged the girl back.
"I'm serious! After what she did to Serena and I...I thought that they were going to take you away from me..."
"Yuzu, it's ok. I'm right here. I won't leave you. I promise." Yuya said as before kissing the girl.
"R-Right..." Yuzu said blushing.
"Why don't we go back outside with the others?" Yuya said to the girl.
"Why don't we stay here for a few more minutes..." Yuzu said as she kissed the boy again.
"O-Ok...!" Yuya said blushing.
A little while later, the group was sitting in the kitchen when Yugo opened the door with Shinji behind him.
"Shinji!" The kids shouted as they ran over to them.
"Hey guys! I got candy for ya'!" Shinji said.
"Yay!"
"Hey guys! Like my outfit?" Yugo asked as everyone turned to him. He was now wearing his signature white D-Wheel jumpsuit.
"Isn't that what you wore before coming to Standard?" Yuzu asked.
"Yup!" Yugo answered.
"Why'd you change out of the clothes my mom gave you back in standard?" Yuya asked.
"I just felt like wearing my old clothes since I'm back in my dimension. But don't worry, I have that set of clothes right here." Yugo said. He pressed a button on the pad of his D-Wheel revealing a hidden compartment with his Standard clothes inside, similar to how there was a compartment for Rin's helmet.
"I like it." Serena admitted.
"Thanks Rin-I mean Serena!" Yugo said.
"Do it again. Call me Rin again. I dare you." Serena said with a menacing tone.
"I'm sorry!" Yugo shouted as he whimpered behind Yuzu, similar to how he did when he first met Shun. This made everyone accept the Serena and Yugo laugh.
"I'm glad we are together again..." Yuya said as he looked at Yuzu.
"Me too." Yuzu said back to the boy.
Suddenly, they heard multiple engines of D-Wheels coming from outside.
"You guys stay in here." Crow said as he And Shinji walked outside and were greeted by security.
"We are the Security - Tag Division. We were sent here to arrest you and everyone inside!" One of the officers shouted.
"Boys, this must be a misunderstanding. I-!" Crow tried to speak but was suddenly taken by surprise when one of the officers shot a electric net bazooka at the group which caught Crow. Luckily, Crow managed to push Shinji out of the way.
"Crow!" Shinji shouted in concern as the net zapped his friend.
"What's going on?!" Yuya shouted as himself, Yuzu, Serena, Yugo, Masumi, and Sawatari ran outside with Reira hiding behind Yuya. Their faces all turned to shock when they saw Crow unconscious in a electric net.
"You Top bastards! I will defeat you and end your reign over us Commons!" Shinji shouted.
"Fire another net!" One of the officers shouted as the other officer fired a net at the group. Yugo saw this coming and managed to jump out of the way while everyone else was left shocked.
"Yuya, protect Reira!" Yuzu shouted as she pushed her love and the small boy out of the way.
"Gah! What the hell is this?" Sawatari shouted.
"Damn it!" Serena shouted in anger. If she wasn't still hurting from her previous duel, she would've been able to dodge the net.
"Those bastards!" Masumi angrily shouted.
"YUZU!" Yuya shouted as he ran over to the net.
"I'm ok...Yuya." Yuzu told the boy.
Suddenly, the net began to shock everyone inside causing them all to screen in pain.
"YUZU! STOP IT! STOP IT!" Yuya demanded in rage as his eyes began to glow red.
"Yuya...Gah!" Yugo shouted in pain as he clutched his chest.
Suddenly, Serena's bracelet began glowing, somehow calming the boys down.
"Yuya...remember...our promise..." Yuzu said before passing out like the others.
"GAH!" Yuya shouted as he grabbed his head and regained control. "No...I won't lose control! I'll defeat you all and I'll save them!"
The Officers then each got into pairs and held there duel disks out. "Engage duel anchor, fire!"
Suddenly, each pair shot duel anchors from their duel disks which latched onto to Yuya, Reira, Yugo, and Shinji's duel disks.
"What?" Yugo said.
"These guys are forcing us into tag duels!" Shinji shouted.
"You must partner up with the person our partner got with their anchor!" One of the officers shouted.
"So I'll be dueling with you, Shinji! I can work with that!" Yugo shouted.
"I guess so. Let's pummel these guys into the ground!" Shinji angrily shouted.
"Then my partner is...Reira?! Are you ok to duel?!" Yuya asked the boy who looked worried.
"I...I will make...my brother proud...!" Reira said, activating his duel disk.
"Alright then. Let's make these fools pay!" Yuya maliciously shouted. He was still in control, but was seriously pissed.

"My turn. I summon Gate Blocker X!" Officer 1 shouted as a rectangular monster that looked like orange wall with a red X on it along with a red eye in the middle appeared.

"Next, by releasing Gate Blocker X, I can special summon Gate Blocker X-2 in defense mode!" The Officer explained as a blue wall-like monster appeared. The monster had a red X on it with two red eyes, one at the top and one at the bottom.

"3000 defense..." Yuya said in shock.
"I set 3 cards face down, turn end." The Officer concluded. "Now, try to break our defenses!"
"Oh I will! MY TURN!" Yuya angrily shouted.
"Yuya..." Reira muttered in concern.
"I Normal Summon Entermate Skullcrobat Joker!" Yuya shouted as a blonde cartoonish magician in a black outfit with pink stripes appeared.

"Oh? One of those Pendulum monsters?" The second Officer said.
"Let's go! With the Scale 2 Entermate Drumming Kong and the Scale 8 Entermate Odd Eyes Unicorn, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya shouted as he slapped the cards onto his duel disk.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters with levels 3 through 7! Swing Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! PENDULUM SUMMON! Come forth, Wondrous and beautiful dragon with dichromatic eyes! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as a giant red light shot out from the portal which revealed to be Yuya's ace dragon.

"Battle! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Gate Blocker X-2!" Yuya commanded his red dragon.
"But you'll take damage!" Officer 1 shouted.
"No I won't! Entermate Drumming Kong's Pendulum Effect! Once per either player's turn, my battling monster gains 600 ATK!" Yuya shouted as his dragon powered up.
Odd Eyes (2500/2000)-(3100/2000)
"Go, Odd Eyes! Spiral Strike Burst!" Yuya commanded his dragon.
"Continuous Trap Activate! Defender's Mind! Now the DEF of all monsters in my field are doubled!" Officer 1 countered.
X-2 (100/3000)-(100/6000)
"6-6000 DEF?!" Yuya shouted in shock.
"And your attack continues! Now prepare to take massive damage!" Officer 2 shouted.
"Grr...Entermate Odd Eyes Unicorn's Pendulum Effect! When a Odd Eyes monsters attacks, I can add the ATK of an Entermate on my field to the attacking monster! Odd Eyes gains Skullcrobat Joker's ATK!" Yuya shouted as his dragon powered up further before the blast connected with the Officer's monster.

But since the dragon was still too weak, the wall monster took the attack and then sent a shockwave at Yuya and Reira, causing them to brace themselves.

"Damn...! Reira, are you ok?" Yuya asked.
"I'm ok..." Reira replied.
"I...set a card face down, turn end." Yuya concluded.
"At this moment, I activate the Continuous Trap Shock Force! And with it I'll target my Gate Blocker X-! Now at the end of each of our turns, my monster will gain a shock counter, and then you'll take 300 damage for each of my monster's shock counter!" Officer 1 explained with a smirk. "Alright! We won!" Yugo shouted as he fived Shinji.
The two then turned around and ran to Yuya and Reira who had just won his duel.
"Yuya! Reira! Are you guys good?" Yugo asked.
"Yeah. We have to hurry up and get the others out of there nets!" Yuya shouted.
"Yeah. Let's go-!" Shinji said before getting cut off by a net flying at them. Yuya saw the net coming and instinctly pushed Reira out of the way before him, Yugo, and Shinji were caught in the net.
"You bastards!" Yugo shouted as he saw a horde of officers approaching.
"Reira! Run, now!" Yuya shouted as the boy began to panic.
"Aaaahh!" Reira shouted in fear. He wasn't seeing the officers unlike the others. He was seeing masked men extended their hands out to him.
"Reira!" Yuya shouted. Suddenly, a figure appeared behind Reira and nodded at Yuya before swiftly escaping.
"T-Tsukikage...?" Yuya uttered.
"Where the hell did that kid go?!" A officer asked.
"It doesn't matter. He wasn't a threat." Another officer told him.
"Where are you taking us?!" Yugo shouted.
"You're going to the facitily!" The officer shouted before throwing them inside a containment truck along with the unconcsious Sawtari, Damon, Tony, and Crow.
"YUZU!" Yuya shouted as he saw the girls being put in a sepeperate truck.
They were seperated yet again...
Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the chapter because it took a lot of time to make. It ran a little long but it thought it turned out nicely. The story is finally progressing to the next part of this arc which will be the facility mini arc. Probably will be somewhere between 1-3 chapters since I really want to get to the tournament already.
Also, new Armed Dragon, Wind Witch, and Ice Barrier support will be used in the future along with any other support that shows up that is relevant to the story.
And I hope you guys liked the origin of Jack, Kiryu, and Crow. More will be revealed later too. I was going for kind of the same thing as what happened in 5Ds just minus the crazy Kiryu part and I added in the friendship cup.
About the duels, I just want to get one thing out of the way. I AM LITERALLY A PHSYIC! I wrote the Yuto vs Frost before the new Ice Barrier support was announced so sadly I couldn't use them but I was shocked that new ice barriers came out because I had just gotten done writing the duel the day before. I will be using the new Trishula monster later on. The reason I picked the Ice Barrier deck was because A, I needed a spot on the Security team so I had to make a new character, B, I like scripting Ice Barriers, and C, Ice Barriers have a Fusion Monster in them which works with the plot of security getting fusion cards. The duel was pretty fun to write but it just took a while. I don't think these two will face off again but he will be facing a certain Yu-Boy in the tournament.
With Yuya and Reira, that was a super fun duel to write. Sorry if anyone was pissed off that Yuya won using Smile World but he hasn't used it yet and I thought why not. And it always pissed me off that Reira got a grand total of 2 duels, besides when she got possessed by Ray. Also, you may be wondering why I called her a 'she' instead of a 'he' in the story. I only call him a boy because in this point in the story, people don't know she's actually a girl, besides Reiji. Anyways, I used modified Gate Blocker cards which is what Security use to use in the 5Ds anime. This duel was actually based off of Crow and Yusei vs Security. Reira's deck is really cool and I'll be using her more often, but she won't be in the tournament along with Reiji.
With Yugo and Shinji, I never knew how cool Shinji's cards were until I actually saw them. Shinji won't be playing a huge part in this arc, but he will get a duel here in there. I decided to use Goyou Catapults because I wanted to do the combo with Ambush Shield. And I wanted Yugo to help Shinji in the final turn so I gave him Synchro Strike.

bladeWriter3: Roget and Aki's relationship will be sort of like Divine and Aki in that manner. Serena, Yuzu, and Akiza are my favorite girls which is why I made that duel so I'm glad you enjoyed it. And during the early rounds in the Friendship Cup, Sergey will probably use his Thorn Prisoners for some OTKs. And finally, someone commented on Yuri and Serena. I've been hinting at that forever. So thank you.
Since we are moving into a new part in the saga we will be taking a small detour...AKA...another Fusion Dimension chapter! (The Armed Dragon support has me super hyped and inspired) Kind of like the Yuri vs Ruri and Rin, it won't be that long, but it will be a fun chapter.
