In the Stadium

"Hello everyone! After yesterday's explosive Exhibition Match, the first round of the Friendship Cup will officially begin!" Melissa Claire shouted into her mic causing the crowd to cheer. "But before I announce the teams, be sure to read the rules of the duels in case you are new or you need a reminder!"

Suddenly, multiple holograms of the list of rules appeared in front of the audience.

FRIENDSHIP CUP RULES

Rather than being a 1-on-1 duel, it will be conducted through groups of 3 and each player on a team starts with 4000 life points and 5 card hands.

If 1 player on the team loses (0 life points, deck out, alternate win condition, etc), all remaining cards on the field of that person are moved, if applicable, to the field of the next person on the team to Duel, and the turn immediately advances to the End Phase. The losing player is still in the Duel during the end phase and can activate card effects (if able).

The Graveyard does not move with the other cards.

The matches are Survival Duels, so the winner of each Duel must continue against the next opponent with the same stats he/she finished the last Duel (field, Life Points, hand, removed from play cards, and Graveyard.)

After a loss, the losing Duelist must reach the next member of their team in order to continue the Duel. If the losing Duelist absolutely cannot reach the next team member (due to their Duel Runner being destroyed) the team loses the match. The team also loses if someone tries to help the defeated player reach the pit.

After a player loses the duel and cannot make any other moves, they have 1 minute to reach their team's pit. If they exceed this time limit, their team automatically loses the duel.

At the beginning of the duel, the Field Spell Crossover Accel will be automatically be activated. This card cannot be destroyed.

"Alright! Now, let's meet our teams!" Melissa shouted.

"WOOHOO!" The crowd cheered.

"The first team we have is Team Security! The members of this team are the three strongest duelists in the Security...Captain Ushio Trudge, DC 227, and Officer Frost!" Melissa shouted as holograms of the Duel Chaser, the Security Captain, and the Ice Barrier Officer appeared.

"The next team is Team Revolution! This team consists of Shinji Weber, Damon Lopez, and the legendary duelist whose been locked up for the years, Chojiro Tokumatsu!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the ex-pro duelist and the other two commons appeared.

"After that, we have Team Catastrophe! This team consists of the dangerous criminal trio, Nicolas, Herman, and Hans!" Melissa shouted as holograms of the criminal trio appeared.

"Up next is Team Unicorn! This team consists of the professional duelists Andre, Breo, and Jean!" Melissa shouted as holograms of three young men in identical blue and orange D-Wheel outfits appeared.

"Then, we have Team White Wind! This team of Rena, Lucy, and Amy!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of three women dressed in pink and white D-Wheel outfits appeared.

"Up next is Team Lightning! This team consists of Rory, James, and Howard!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of three men in yellow D-Wheel outfits appeared.

"After them, we have Team Lotten! This team consists of...you guessed it...the notorious criminal Lotten along with his teammates who are Barbara and Malcom!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the three criminals appeared.

"Then, we have Team Taiyo! This team consists of Yoshizo Hayashi, Jinbei Tanigawa, and Taro Yamashita!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the three commoners in blue, green, and red D-Wheel outfits respectively.

"Next, we have Team Fortune Ark! This team consists of Rashida, Amon, and Naunet!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of two bulky tan men and a women cloaked in white appeared.

"Up next is Team Dark Hunters! This team consists of Bomber, Devack, and Roman!" Melissa shouted as holograms of the three bulky men dressed in black appeared.

"After them, we have Team Magnetic Stars! This team consists of the Lancers named Hokuto, Sawatari, and Roy!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the three boys from the standard dimension appeared.

"The next team is Team Sword of Entertainment! This team consists of the Lancers named Yaiba Todo, Tsukikage, and Dennis Macfield!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the 2 warriors and the performer appeared.

"After them is Team Blades of Bravery! This team consists of the Lancers named Yuto, Masumi Kotsu, and Noboru Gongenzaka!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the three teammates who each specialized in a different summoning method appeared.

"Up next is Team Wings of Victory! This team consists of the Lancers named Shun Kurosaki, Yuzu Hiragi, and Yugo!" Melissa shouted as the holograms of the three teammates who each originated in a different dimension appeared.

"After them, we have Team United Hope! This team consists of two Lancers named Serena and Yuya Sakaki! Also...one of the members of Team Satisfaction...the Legendary Black Feather duelist...Crow Hogan is on this team!" Melissa shouted as holograms of the famous duelist along with the two Lancers appeared.

"Last but not least, the final team is Team Devastation! This teams consists of the duelist crusher, Sergey Volkav, the Black Rose Witch, and another member of Team Satisfaction...the Death God himself...Kiryu Kyosuke!" Melissa shouted as holograms of the three enemies of the Lancers appeared.

"Wow that was a lot..." Melissa sighed as she caught her breath. "Anyways...the first round will be announced in a few moments, so get ready! And remember...We Are All Friends!"

With Team United Hope

"Kiryu..." Crow uttered as he watched the opening ceremony on his team's TV.

"That women..." Serena said to herself with a scared tone as she saw the Black Rose Witch.

"Were some of those people...criminals?" Yuya asked his friend.

"...Yeah. Some criminals are sometimes given the option to participate in the Friendship Cup so they can fight for their freedom. But most of the time, they end up being sent underground..." Crow explained.

"Sent underground?!" Yuya shouted. They were never told that they would be punished for losing.

"We weren't told about this." Serena said.

"It's something the council never brought up...once a team is eliminated, they are taken underground to do labor." Crow said.

"That's not right..." Yuya grunted.

"I know. That's part of the reasons I didn't want to participate. We are just their entertainment and then we are just thrown away. But you believe we can change the city, right?" Crow asked the boy.

"...Yeah...with my dueling...I'll show them true entertainment that doesn't involve violence!" Yuya said with a determined smile.

"I thought so." Crow smiled.

Serena just looked at Yuya for a moment, thinking about his motivation. 'Why...Why does he hold on to this belief so much...'

Suddenly, the three turned to the door which they could hear be unlocked and opened. The one who opened the door was Sam, the worker who Yuya had to talked to before.

"Sam!" Yuya said with a surprised tone.

"Yuya...you guys are going first." Sam told them.

"Who are we facing?" Serena asked the boy.

"...Team Security."

At the Stadium

"Alright everyone! Whose ready to kick off the first round of the Friendship Cup?!" Melissa asked the audience who cheered. "I thought so! In that case, let's get things started! The first duel of the first round will be...Team United Hope vs Team Security!"

Suddenly, on the big screen in the stadium, separate pictures of each team appeared. The crowd cheered wildly due to the first round finally starting.

Serena, Yuya, and Crow walked out of tunnel which lead to the pit, where their D-Wheels were waiting for them.

Crow was wearing his signature brown jest and orange shirt underneath. He was carrying a black helmet with an orange visor.

Serena was wearing a maroon and purple Riding Duel outfit with purple gloves and boots. She still wore her yellow ribbon and carried her purple helmet that had a blue visor.

Yuya was wearing a Riding Duel outfit that was primarily red but also had some white, black, and orange. His outfit had white and black gloves, black boots, and black knee pads. He also wore his signature goggles and had his Pendulum pendant inside his outfit. He carried a red helmet that didn't have a visor.

"Alright, so who's going first-"

"I am." Serena said, cutting Crow off. She put her helmet on and got on her D-Wheel.

"Are you sure, Serena?" Yuya asked.

"Don't worry. I'll take them all out!" Serena confidently said before driving off.

"Good luck!" Yuya shouted.

"It appears that the both teams have sent out their first duelists, Serena and DC 227!" Melissa shouted.

Serena drove out on the track, receiving lots of cheering from the men in the crowd. She drove to the starting line where DC 227 was waiting.

"So you're my opponent? A little girl?" 227 taunted.

"Who are you calling a little girl?!" Serena shouted.

"You of course." 227 replied.

"Tch...oh wait, you're the guy who got his ass kicked by Yugo, right?" Serena responded.

"Cheeky little-!"

"It seems like these opponents have already started to bicker. So without anything further, let's get this duel started! Action Field On! Field Spell, Crossover Accel activate!" Melissa shouted as a sphere of cards bursted, causing them to spread all through out the track.

DUEL MODE: ON! AUTOPILOT, STAND BY!

At the same time, both 227 and Serena's duel disk blades materialized on their D-Wheels. Serena's blade was light blue while 227's blade was green.

A holographic screen with a countdown starting at 3 appeared in front of the two.

"My turn! Just because your a little girl, doesn't mean I'll be taking it easy on you!" 227 shouted which caused Serena to get angry.

"Don't call me a little girl!" Serena growled.

"I'll regain my status by winning! I summon Jutte Lord!" 227 shouted as the warrior appeared.

Jutte Lord (1600/1200) LVL:4

"And through it's effects, I summon the tuner monster, Jutte Knight!" 227 shouted as the tuner appeared beside his other warrior.

Jutte Knight (700/900) LVL:2

"I tune my level 2 Jutte Knight to my level 4 Jutte Lord! Capture them with the ranging fangs of the beast! Synchro Summon! Level 6! Goyou Predator!" 227 shouted as his ace monster appeared. The warrior had green and red clothing with a dark colored mask that had horns. He also carried a jutte along with a long rope.

Goyou Predator (2400/1200) LVL:6

"What an original move..." Yugo joked.

"You can say that again..." Yuzu agreed.

"I activate the Equip Spell, Goyou Arrow! By equipping this spell to Goyou Predator, you take damage equal to it's level times 100 once per turn! Take this!" The Officer shouted as his monster gained acannon which it fired at Serena, causing her to get hit by a yellow blast.

SERENA: 4000-3400 LP

"Just like that, DC 227 was not only able to perform a Synchro Summon, but also inflicted damage to his opponent on the first turn!" Melissa commented.

"I set one card facedown, turn end." 227 concluded.

"My turn!" Serena shouted as she drew her card. She looked at it for a moment while thinking of her move before putting the card in her hand. "I'm going to make you pay for underestimating me!"

"Is that so? Bring it!" 227 shouted.

"I activate the spell card Fusion Sage! This card lets me add a Fusion Card from my deck to my hand!" Serena explained as a Fusion card popped out of his deck.

"Fusion?" 227 repeated.

"I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! fuse my Moonlight Purple Butterfly with my Moonlight Black Sheep in my hand! Butterfly with violet poison! Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Moonlight Cat Dancer!" Serena chanted as her ace monster appeared.

Moonlight Cat Dancer (2400/2000) LVL:7

"Serena has managed to perform a Fusion Summon! Now, both Serena and DC 227 have monsters with the same ATK!" Melissa shouted

"Moonlight Black Sheep's effect activates! When used as material for a Fusion Summon, I can add this card from my graveyard to my hand! Then, I activate the spell card Moonlight Perfume! This spell lets me special summon Moonlight Purple Butterfly from my graveyard!" Serena shouted as her purple humanoid butterfly returned.

Moonlight Purple Butterfly (1000/1000) LVL: 3

"Next, I normal summon Moonlight Black Sheep!" Serena shouted as her humanoid sheep in black clothing appeared.

Moonlight Black Sheep (100/600) LVL: 2

"Serena's got three monsters on her field. Is she going to go for mutual destruction and then attack directly?" Crow asked Yuya.

"I think she has something else planned." Yuya told his teammate.

"Purple Butterfly's effect activates! By releasing this card, one Moonlight monster on my field gains 1000 ATK! So Cat Dancer gains 1000 ATK!" Serena explained as her monster turned into bright particles that flowed around Cat Dancer which caused her to gain a purple aura.

Cat Dancer (2400/2000)-(3400/2000)

"Next, Cat Dancer's effect! By releasing Black Sheep, Cat Dancer can attack your Goyou Predator twice and the first time it isn't destroyed!" Serena shouted as her other monster turned into particles that were absorbed into Cat Dancer which caused her cyan dress to glow brightly.

"Alright, Serena!" Yuya cheered.

"Battle! Cat Dancer, attack Goyou Predator!" Serena shouted as her monster threw her two daggers at the monster. The dagger cut through the monster but didn't destroy it and a shockwave from the attack hit 227.

DC 227: 4000-3000 LP

"The second attack! Full Moon Cresta!" Serena shouted as her monster moved her arms in a circular motion, creating a cyan colored blast that fired towards the synchro monster.

"Gah!" 227 grunted as his monster was destroyed which caused a shockwave to hit him, making his D-Wheel wobble.

DC 227: 3000-2000 LP

"Just like that, Serena has managed to knock down half of DC 227's life points in just one turn!" Melissa shouted causing the crowd to cheer.

"That Serena girl is pretty good!"

"Go, Serena!"

"I knew you'd destroy my monster! Continuous Trap Activate! Goyou Revival Force! When, a Goyou monster is destroyed, I can revive it and it's equipped with this card! Then, it gains ATK equal to it's level times 100!" 227 yelled as his monster returned and powered up.

Goyou Predator (2400/1200)-(3000/1200)

"What an amazing play by DC 227! Even though he took damage, he was able to bring him monster back and made it even stronger!" Melissa shouted.

"Tch...so you had a move like that ready... but it's not stronger than Cat Dancer! I set one card facedown! Turn End." Serena concluded.

"My turn! Battle! Goyou Predator, attack Cat Dancer!" 227 shouted as his monster charged at the female warrior. "Quick Play Spell, Rush Recklessly! My monster gains 700 ATK!"

Goyou Predator (3000/1200)-(3700/1200)

Before the attack hit, 227's eyes widened as he saw an Action Card lying inside a bubble on the track. He extended his arm downwards and managed to grab the card. "Haha! Action Spell, High Dive ! My monster gains 1000 ATK!"

Goyou Predator (3700/1200)-(4700/1200)

"With a combination of spells, DC 227 has raised his monster's ATK to 4700!" Melissa shouted.

"Take this! Goyou Crash!" The Officer shouted as his monster swatted Serena's ace with it makes jutte, causing an explosion that hit Serena.

SERENA: 3400-2100 LP

"Damn it...Trap Activate! Moonlight Dance of the Fallen! When a Moonlight Fusion monster is destroyed, I can draw a card for each of it's Fusion Materials! I draw 2 cards!" Serena shouted as she drew 2.

"Goyou Predator's effect! When this card destroys a monster, I can special summon it to my field!" 227 shouted as a dark portal appeared on his field which Cat Dancer jumped out of.

Moonlight Cat Dancer (2400/2000) LVL: 7

"Cat Dancer!" Serena yelled in shock at the sight of her ace being used against her.

"Serena has 2100 life points and no face downs..." Crow said.

"If she takes a direct attack from Cat Dancer...she'll lose!" Yuya realized.

"This is the end for you, girl! Cat Dancer, direct attack! Full Moon Cresta!" 227 shouted as the girl's stolen monster charged a circular cyan colored attack and launched it at Serena.

"Moonlight Turquoise Turtle effect activates in my hand! When my opponent declares a direct attack, I can negate the attack and special summon this card!" Serena shouted as a male turquoise humanoid colored turtle appeared on her field and blocked the attack with a turquoise barrier.

Moonlight Turquoise Turtle (900/1800) LVL:3

"Serena managed to make it out of this turn with her life points!" Melissa shouted.

"Your persistence is futile! You'll lose soon enough! Turn End." 227 concluded.

Goyou Predator (4300/1200)-(3000/1200)

"I'll make you pay for taking my monster! My turn! I summon Moonlight Camouflage Chameleon!" Serena shouted as her female humanoid chameleon appeared.

Moonlight Camouflage Chameleon(1200/1600) LVL:4

"Camouflage Chameleon's effect activates! Once per turn, I can target a Moonlight monster on the field or in the graveyard and Camouflage Chameleonis treated as that monster until the end of this turn. I target Moonlight Cat Dancer!" Serena pointed at Cat Dancer as her monster changed into Cat Dancer.

"Next, I activate the Spell Card, Fusion Recovery! This card lets me add back a monster used as Fusion Material and a Fusion Spell from my deck to my hand! I add back my Fusion Spell and my Moonlight Purple Butterfly!"

"Adding those cards back to her hand...she's going to Fusion Summon again!" Crow realized.

"I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! I fuse Camouflage Chameleon treated as Cat Dancer and Turquoise Turtle! The turquoise beast trotting through the forest! The beautiful wild beast that dances under the moonlight! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! Moonlight Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted as the evolved form of her ace appeared.

Moonlight Panther Dancer (2800/2000) LVL:8

"Next, I normal summon Moonlight Purple Butterfly!" Serena shouted.

Moonlight Purple Butterfly (1000/1000) LVL: 3

"Purple Butterfly's effect activates! By releasing her, Panther Dancer gains 1000ATK!" Serena shouted as her monster was surrounded by a purple aura.

Moonlight Panther Dancer(2800/2000)-(3800/2000)

"Panther Dancer can attack all monsters you control twice and the first attack won't destroy your monster! This is theend for you!" Serena shouted at the officer.

"Tch..." 227 grunted. Both Serena and 227 caught glances of an Action Card that was high in the air. Serena knew she had to end this right now before he had the chance to counter.

"Battle! Panther Dancer, attack Goyou Predator!" Serena shouted as her monster charged towards with the blades attached to it's hands.

Using his expert D-Wheel skills, 227 drove up the wall of the track and drove off, causing his D-Wheel to spin through the air. He grabbed the Action Card and landed on the ground before the attack hit.

"Action Spell, Defense Formation! All monsters on my field are switched to Defense position!" 227 countered.

Goyou Predator (3000/1200)-(3000/1200)

Cat Dancer (2400/2000)-(2400/2000)

"Tch...Panther Dancer...destroy Cat Dancer and Goyou Predator! Full Moon Burst!" Serena shouted as her beast-warrior threw two spheres of dark energy at both monsters, causing them to be destroyed.

"And just like that, Serena has regained the advantage!" Melissa shouted.

"But as long as he is in front, it will be hard for Serena to get any Action Cards." Yuya muttered.

"I set one card facedown, turn end." Serena concluded.

"My turn! I activate the Spell Card, Goyou Draw! I banish Goyou Predator to draw cards for every 2 levels it had! I draw 3 cards!" 227 shouted as he drew.

"Drawing 3 cards...that's not good." Crow commented.

"I activate the spell card Synchro Return! This card lets me special summon a banished Synchro monster! Return to the field, Goyou Predator!" 227 shouted as his monster returned.

Goyou Predator (2400/1200) LVL:6

"Next, I normal summon Jutte Supporter!" 227 shouted as a new monster with a purple coat and carried a jutte appeared.

Jutte Supporter (1100/100) LVL: 3

"When this card is normal summoned, I can special summon a tuner monster in my graveyard! Come back, Jutter Knight!"

Jutte Knight (700/900) LVL:2

"Now I tune my level 2 Jutte Knight to my level 3 Jutte Supporter! Chase them to the dephts of Hell! Behold this soul of justice! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 5! Goyou Chaser!" 227 shouted as a warrior clad in brown and red along with a large Jutte appeared.

Goyou Chaser (1900/1000) LVL:5

"Why would he summon that monster...Panther Dancer is way stronger than both of his monster..." Yuya said in confusion.

"When Jutte Supporter is used as Synchro material along with another Jutte monster, I can draw a card!" 227 shouted as he drew his card. He held his arm out and looked at the card before smirking. "I've drawn it!"

"Why do I have a bad feeling..." Crow muttered.

"I activate the spell card...Fusion!" 227 shouted as he activated the card.

"F-Fusion?!" Serena shouted in disbelief.

"What the hell?!" Yugo shouted as he saw what was happening on his tv.

"There's no way he could have gotten a Fusion monster..." Yuzu said inshock.

Shun was left speechless. 'Has Academia...already placed people in this dimension?!'

"Fusion...?" Yuto uttered in shock as he watched the screen while Masumi and Gongenzaka were left in shock.

"I'll use this card to regain my status and to beat you! I fuse together Goyou Predator and Goyou Chaser! The insatiable soul of the chaser and the proud soul of the predator. Now become one and sublimate! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Successor of the majestic predator's lineage! Goyo Emperor!" 227 shouted as a new monster appeared out of the fusion vortex. The monster was a warrior in yellow and blue clothing which had red patterns on it. The warrior had a white mask and was sitting on a red chair.

Goyou Emperor (3300/2500) LVL: 10

"Goyou Emperor..." Crow uttered.

"I-In an amazing turn of events, DC 227 has managed to perform a Fusion Summon!" Melissa shouted with a tone of shock.

"Wow!"

"So cool!"

"You having Fusion monster wasn't expected at all...but it doesn't matter! Your monster is still too weak to go against Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted.

"That's where you are wrong! Battle! Goyou Emperor, attack Panther Dancer! At this moment, Goyou Revival Force's effect activates in my graveyard! By banishing this card, Goyou Emperor gains ATK equal to my monster's level times 100! So...Goyou Emperor gains 1000 ATK!" 227 shouted as his monster powered up.

"What?!" Serena shouted in shock.

Goyou Emperor (3300/2500)-(4300/2500)

"I-It surpassed Panther Dancer!" Yuto shouted.

"Serena's monsters going to be destroyed at this rate." Gongenzaka said with a worried tone.

"Yeah, this isn't looking good..." Masumi said.

"Damn it..." Serena grunted.

"Taste the wrath of my monster! Goyou Judgement!" 227 shouted as his monster shot a powerful burst of fire at the Fusion monster, causing an explosion that shook Serena's D-Wheel.

SERENA: 2100-1600 LP

"Goyou Emperor's effect! When this card would destroy a monster, it's destruction is negated! Then, I can take control of it!" 227 explained as Serena's monster was covered in a purple aura before moving to 227's field.

"N-No way!" Serena shouted in disbelief.

"He took Serena's monster..." Yuya uttered.

"Serena will lose if she takes an attack from Panther Dancer..." Crow said.

"Hahaha! The power I've been given truly is amazing! This is the end for you, girl! Panther Dancer has 3800 ATK which is more then enough to finish you off!"

"Tch...Continuous Trap, Call of the Living Dead activate! This card lets me special summon a monster from my graveyard in ATK mode! Come back to me, Cat Dancer!" Serena shouted as Cat Dancer returned.

Moonlight Cat Dancer (2400/2000) LVL: 7

"How futile! You of all people should know that Panther Dancer can attack all of your monsters twice! You're finished! Panther Dancer, attack Cat Dancer and end this duel! Full Moon Burst!" 227 shouted as the stolen monster charged up a sphere of dark energy in her hands before throwing towards Cat Dancer.

"Serena!" Yuya shouted.

"...Moonlight Turquoise Turtle's effect in my graveyard activates! When a Moonlight Fusion monster on my field is attack, I can banish this card and any damage from a battle involving that monster is reduced to 0!" Serena countered as a turquoise barrier appeared around her.

"Tch...since Panther Dancer's first attack doesn't destroy the opposing monster, I'll attack Cat Dancer again with Panther Dancer! Full Moon Burst!" 227 shouted as the stolen monster launched another attack that hit Cat Dancer, causing a huge explosion.

"Tch..." Serena clicked her tongue as her field was now cleared. "I survived..."

"Is that what you think? Monster's effected by Goyou Emperor gains it's effect to steal your monster!" 227 explained causing Serena's eyes to widen in shock.

"W-What?" Serena said with a nervous tone.

"And she has no cards on her field or in her hand..." Yuzu realized with a fearful expression.

"Now, prepare to be finished off by your ace monster! I thank you for giving me control of such powerful monsters! I'll be sure to use them to beat your teammates! Cat Dancer, finish this duel and attack her directly! Full Moon Cresta!" 227 shouted as the warrior launched a cyan colored blast at the defenseless Serena.

"Serena!" Yuto shouted in concern.

"I'm sorry..." Serena looked down causing her visor to get covered in darkness. "...but this duel isn't over yet!"

"Moonlight Dance of the Fallen's effect in my graveyard activates! When I would receive a direct attack, by banishing this card in my graveyard, I can draw 1 card!And if that card is a Moonlight monster card, the damage is halved!" Serena exclaimed as she grasped the top card of her deck.

"Serena still has a chance!" Crow cheered.

"Let's go! Draw!" Serena shouted as she closed her eyes and drew her card. She held her hand out for a moment before opening her eyes and checking the card.

"The Card I got was...Moonlight Blue Cat!" Serena shouted as a barrier appeared around her. The cyan colored attack hit the barrier, causing a shockwave that made Serena's D-Wheel wobble.

Serena shouted as a lady with purple skin that had yellow and pink clothing and yellow hair carrying two sabers appeared.

"Alright! Serena has a stronger monster now!" Yuya shouted.

"Go, Serena!" Crow cheered.

"N-Not so fast!" 227 shouted as he reached down and grabbed an Action Card. "Action Spell, Zero Force! I target a monster on your field it's ATK becomes 0! I target Saber Dancer!"

"Saber Dancer cannot be targeted by card effects!"

"What?!" 227 shouted in shock.

"This is the end! Battle! Sabre Dancer, attack Goyou Emperor! Eclipse Slash!" Serena shouted as her monster slashed through the opposing Fusion monster, causing an explosion that hit 227.

"And now due to Goyou Emperor's effect, I regain control of my monsters since it was destroyed! Return to my field, Cat Dancer! Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted as the effects of Goyou Emperor ended. Both monsters were no longer surrounded by a purple aura and returned to their owner's field.

"Alright! Serena got her monsters back!" Crow cheered.

"This duel is over!" Yuya shouted.

"This is the end! Panther Dancer, end this duel! Direct Attack! Full Moon Burst!" Serena shouted as her monster threw a sphere of dark energy at the man's D-Wheel.

"GAAAAAAHHHH!" 227 shouted as the sphere collided with his D-Wheel, causing a huge explosion.

The crowd went wild at the sight of Serena winning the duel which made her smile. Maybe Yuya's entertainment dueling was so bad. Although, she rather stick with her own style.

227 drove into the pit where his teammates were waiting for him.

"I'm sorry, sir..." 227 said with a sad tone.

"That's right! I will defeat you and I'll avenge my Officer!" Ushio shouted.

"Wait...I remember you...your the guy that dueled Yuya! And you wouldn't let us leave after he beat you!" Serena said with an angry tone.

"I was just doing my job!" Ushio shouted.

"Just doing your job, eh? Well I do my job as a Lancer to defeat a scum like you!" Serena shouted as the officer.

"She'll take 400 damage if this hits!" Crow realized.

"Tch..." Serena clicked her tongue, realizing that she was about to lose. But, she spotted an Action Card aheadthat was floating in the air. She sat up out of her seat causing her D-Wheel to wobble a bit. Before the attack hit, she barely managed to grab the card. "Hah! Action Spell, Damage Banish! This card reduced the damage I would take to 0!"

"Damn..." Ushio grunted. "Goyou Guardian's effect activates! The destroyed monster is revived on my field in Defense Position!" Ushio explained as a dark portal appeared where Serena's monster was destroyed. The warrior threw it's rope into the portal and dragged out Cat Dancer.

"I set one card facedown, turn end." Ushio concluded as the card materialized on his field.

"My turn! Battle! Panther Dancer can attack all your monsters twice! Attack Cat Dancer First!" Serena shouted as her evolved ace slashed through her stolen ace monster, causing an explosion.

"Grr..." Ushio grunted.

"That's not all! Panther Dancer gains 200 ATK when she destroys a monster until the end of the turn! And since Cat Dancer is now in my graveyard, Saber Dancer gains 200 ATK!" Serena explained as her monsters powered up.

"Serena sure is tough..." Yugo said as he watched the girl on his screen. Her strength reminded him of Rin, as well as her appearance.

"Panther Dancer, attack Goyou Guardian! Full Moon Burst!" Serena shouted as her Fusion monster launched a sphere of dark energy towards the synchro warrior.

"Trap Activate! Synchro Barrier! By releasing a synchro monster on my field, any damage I take during this turn is reduced to 0!" Ushio shouted as his Goyou Guardian dispersed into particles while a barrier formed around him.

"Tch...you won't escape defeat next time. Turn End." Serena concluded.

"My turn!" Ushio shouted as he drew and smirked at the sight of the card. "I summon Jutte Captain!"

"This move again..." Yuya uttered as he remembered this move from his duel against Ushio.

"Now, I tune my level 3 Jutte Captain to my level 6 Goyo Guardian!" Ushio yelled as his tuner became 3 green rings that flew around his Synchro monster.

"He's going to summon his ace monster..." Sawatari remembered as he watched the duel on his room's screen.

"Huh?" Hokuto let out as he turned to Sawatari.

"Ruler of justice, use your power to enforce the law and crush those who oppose your order! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Goyou General!" Ushio shouted as a warrior with a black and red uniform that had several golden medals, appeared. The warrior also held a jutte in each hand.

"This monster..." Serena grunted as she remembered it's effects from when Ushio dueled Yuya.

"Battle! Goyou General, attack Saber Dancer! At this moment, Goyou General's effect activates! Once per turn, when this card attacks a monster, neither monster is destroyed and neither player takes damage! Also, I gain control of the monster that was attacked!" Ushio shouted as the warrior let out a shockwave from it's weapons that caused the Fusion monster's eyes to turn bright red before going to Ushio's side.

"And since Saber Dancer's effect count both player's graveyards, it's ATK boost remains." Crow said.

"Shit...this isn't good..." Serena cursed.

"Since Goyou General's ATK is lower than your monster's ATK, I won't have it attack in a row. But, I will have Saber Dancer attack Panther Dancer! Take 400 damage and lose!" Ushio shouted as Saber Dancer rushed at Panther Dancer. The Fusion monster thrusted it's blade through the opposing monster, causing a big explosion that consumed Serena.

"Oh no! Has Serena's luck run out?!" Melissa shouted.

"Action Spell, Selection of Miracle! I choose to halve the damage!" Serena shouted as she drove out of the smoke.

"What is this?" Ushio asked.

"Battle! Panther Dancer, attack Saber Dancer!" Serena shouted as her monster charged at the stronger Fusion monster.

"EHHH?!" Yuya and Crow shouted.

"Counter attack, Saber Dancer!" Ushio shouted as his Fusion charged forward and prepared to slash through the opposing monster.

"What the hell is Serena doing?!" Yugo shouted in confusion.

"At this moment, Blinding Moonlight's effect activates! The damage I take is reduced to 0! Also, both of our monsters are destroyed!" Serena shouted as both monster's blades collided, causing a powerful explosion.

"What?!" Ushio shouted as the field was covered in smoke.

"Due to my spell's effect, when the equipped monster is destroyed, I can special summon a Moonlight Fusion monster with a lower level! Come back, Cat Dancer!" Serena shouted as Cat Dancer returned.

"What's that monster going to do?" Ushio asked.

"N-No way!" Ushio shouted in shock.

"Go, Cat Dancer! Full Moon Cresta!" Serena commanded as her monster shot a powerful cyan blast at the synchro warrior.

"That was a clever move...but I'm not giving up just yet! Hellway Guardna's effect in my hand activates! By discarding this card from my hand when a synchro monster on my field is attack, my monster isn't destroyed and the damage is halved!" Ushio shouted as a barrier formed around his monster. But, a powerful shockwave hit him, causing his D-Wheel to shake.

"Damn...I was hoping to at least destroy that monster..." Serena grunted in disappointment.

Suddenly, she saw an Action Card on the track and she reached down and grabbed it. 'I may not be able to use this...but they can...'

"So what now?" Ushio asked with a smirk.

"I...set one card facedown, turn end." Serena concluded as she set the card she just picked up.

Cat Dancer (5400/2000)-(2400/2000)

"My turn! I set one card face down! Battle! Goyou General, attack Cat Dancer! At this moment, Goyou General's effect activates-!"

"I know where this leads...and I won't get down like this...I banish Blinding Moonlight in my graveyard to activate it's effect! When my opponent attacks a Moonlight monster on my field, I can banish this card and release Cat Dancer to end the battle phase! And then, both of us take damage equal to halve of the released monster's ATK!" Serena explained as Ushio's monster was blinded by the shinning spirit of Cat Dancer.

"What?!" Ushio shouted in a shocked expression.

"They'll both take 1200 damage..." Yuzu uttered.

"Oh no! She only has 200 life points left!" Yugo realized.

"SERENA!" Yuya shouted.

"If I'm going down, I'm taking some of your life points with me! Do it, Cat Dancer!" Serena shouted as the shinning spirit exploded in bright energy that collided with both Ushio and Serena.

"Knowing she was going to lose, Serena managed to still damage Ushio despite her life points being dropped to 0 in the process. Now, both teams only have 2 duelist left!" Melissa shouted causing the crowd to cheer.

Serena pulled into the pit and got off her D-Wheel before taking her helmet off. "I'm sorry. I should have been able to beat him."

"Don't worry, Serena! You managed to take out 227 and you took a lot of Ushio's life points! You did great!" Yuya cheerfully said.

"Yeah, don't worry. I got this!" Crow shouted as he put his helmet on and got on his D-Wheel.

"Eh? Are you sure, Crow? I beat him during our last duel." Yuya told Crow.

"Trust me. Trudge and I go way back." Crow told Yuya. Serena and Yuya just looked in confusion, not knowing what Crow meant by that.

"Ok, Crow. I trust you!" Yuya smiled at his friend.

"Here's the card I left for you." Serena said as she handed Crow the card.

"Thanks. Let's go!" Crow shouted as he put the card into his spell/trap card zone before racing off.

Crow's D-Wheel was mostly black with some parts that were orange. The D-Wheel had orange parts on it's sides that looked like folded up wings.

"It's seems the next duelist for Team United Hope is none other then one of the members of Team Satisfaction...The Legendary Black Feather Duelist...Crow Hogan!" Melissa shouted as Crow rode out onto the track, causing many commons to cheer.

"Oh my god! It's him!"

"Well the crowd still seems to like me..." Crow smiled.

"Although the one I wanted to duel was Yuya Sakaki, you'll have to suffice. After all, I never got to pay you back for all those times you beat me when you use to be a vigilante with your friends!" Ushio shouted at the black bird duelist.

The stolen monster flew towards it's former master's token and sliced it in half.

Ushio realizing the danger he was in, spotted an Action Card on the left side of the track and he drove over to it and picked it up. "Action Spell, Evasion! The attack is negated!"

"It's time to use the card Serena left me! I activate the Action Spell, No Action! Your Action Card is negated and destroyed!" Crow shouted as his face down card that Serena left him flipped open.

"W-What?!" Ushio shouted as his evasion spell was destroyed.

"This is the end!" Crow shouted.

"Hellway Guardna's effect in my graveyard activates! I can banish it to halve the damage!" Ushio shouted as a barrier appeared in front of him. Crow's Synchro monster sliced through Raikiri, causing a powerful explosion that hit the barrier. But, Ushio was still hit by a shockwave that knocked caused his D-Wheel to shake.

"Nice one, Crow!" Yuya cheered.

As Ushio regained of his D-Wheel, he missed an Action Card which lead to Crow being able to grab it. "Action Spell, Battle Draw! Since my monster destroyed another in battle, I can draw 2 cards! Alright! Since the battle is now over, I can activate one of the cards I just drew! Monster Reborn! Revive, Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower!" Crow shouted as his monster returned in defense mode.

"Now, I activate Raikiri's effect! Since I control 2 Black Feather monsters, 2 cards on your field are destroyed! Say goodbye to your monsters!" Crow shouted as the Goyou warriors were destroyed by an air slash.

"Grr..." Ushio grunted as he now had no monsters on his field.

"Haha! I set one card facedown, turn end." Crow concluded.

"Not bad...Crow. But I'm not finished just yet! I will defeat you! I'll show them all how strong I truly am! MY TURN!" Ushio shouted as he drew. He held his card up in the air for a moment before grinning. "I activate Jutte Captain's effect in my graveyard! While this card is in my graveyard while I have 1000 life points or less, by banishing it, I can special summon a Goyou monster in my graveyard but with it's effect negated! Revive, Goyou General!"

"Trap Activate! Goyou Assistance! I can target a Goyou monster on my field and then I can special summon a Goyou monster in my graveyard with a lower level but with it's effects negated! Come back, Goyou Guardian!"

"He brought back both of his monsters..." Yuya uttered.

"But they can't use their effects, so Crow is safe." Serena said.

"I didn't want to use this until I faced Yuya Sakaki, but you have left me no choice! Prepare to witness my true power! I activate the Spell Card...Fusion!" Ushio shouted. Just like his subordinate, he had activated the Fusion Spell.

"Again?! Where are they getting Fusion cards?!" Yugo shouted.

"Fusion...!" Shun grunted as his hand clenched into a fist.

"I fuse together Goyou Guardian and Goyou General! Guardian that protects all! General that enforces the law! Now become one and sublimate! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth! Level 11! Divine Ruler of All! Goyou God!" Ushio shouted as a golden light blinded the stadium.

"What?! What the hell happened?! I can't see anything!" Sawatari shouted as the screen was blinded by light.

As the light died down, a new Fusion warrior floated above Ushio. A large warrior with six arms sat on a large golden throne. The warrior was wearing a red and golden clothing and had white face paint with red and blue markings. The monster also had blonde hair and glowing red eyes.

"Goyou...God...?!" Crow uttered in shock.

"A level 11 Fusion monster..." Serena said in amazement .

"More Fusion..." Yuto said as he looked at the screen with a disgusted look.

"A-Again?! Captain Ushio Trudge has managed to Fusion Summon as well! And he's brought out an even more powerful monster than his teammate! This is getting exciting!" Melissa shouted causing the crowd to cheer.

"That monster is impressive, Trudge. But Chidori is still much stronger!" Crow shouted.

"Not for long! Battle! Goyou God, attack Chidori! At this moment, Goyou God's effect activates! During the turn this card was Fusion Summoned, monsters on my opponents have their effect negated when they battle this card! Goyou Pressure!" Ushio shouted as his monster's golden aura extended outwards, consuming Chidori which heavily weakened the monster.

Chidori (5000/2000)-(2600/2000)

"Oh no!" Yuya shouted in shock.

"Obliterate his monster, Goyou God! GOYOU DIVINE PUNISHMENT!" Ushio shouted as his monster extended it's multiple arms outward and shot a powerful golden and red blast that consumed the weakened Chidori.

"GAAAAHH!" Crow shouted in pain as an explosion occurred and consumed him.

"Due to Goyou God's effect, your monster's destruction is negated and I gain control of it!" Ushio explained as Chidori was covered in a golden aura before flying over to Ushio's field.

"Damn..." Crow uttered.

"Go, Chidori the Rain Sprinkling! Attack Raikiri the Sudden Shower!" Ushio commanded as his stolen monster slashed through the opposing monster which was in defense mode.

"He destroyed both of Crow's monsters..." Yuya said with a worried tone.

"And due to Goyou God's effect, when monsters on my field effected by this card's effect battle a monster, that battling monster's destruction is negated and I gain control of it! I'll be taking Raikiri too!" Ushio shouted as Crow's other Synchro monster was covered in golden aura before flying over to Ushio's field.

"Now he has control of both of Crow's monsters..." Serena uttered in amazement.

"But Raikiri is still in defense mode and Chidori and Goyou God have already attacked, so Crow is in the clear for now." Yuya said.

"You probably think my attack is over! But you're dead wrong! Goyou God's effect activates! By releasing a monster stolen by this card's effects, this card can attack once more! I release Raikiri so Goyou God can attack again!" Ushio exclaimed as Raikiri turned into golden particles that were absorbed into Goyou God.

"N-No way..." Crow said in disbelief.

"This is the end! Direct Attack! GOYOU DIVINE PUNISHMENT!" Ushio commanded as his monster shot a powerful golden and red blast towards Crow.

"CROW!" Yuya shouted in fear.

"I'm not done finding just yet! Trap Activate! Black Feather Deflection! By banishing a Black Feather Synchro monster in my graveyard, any time I would take damage this turn from a direct attack is reduced by the banished monster's ATK! I banish the 2600 ATK Raikiri!" Crow shouted as the spirit of Raikiri guarded Crow from taking the full force of the attack.

"Tch...it's not over just yet! I release Chidori to let Goyou God attack once more! Direct Attack! GOYOU DIVINE PUNISHMENT!"

"Due to Black Feather Deflection, the damage is reduced by 2600 once more!"

"Damn it! Why won't you just surrender?!" Ushio shouted with an irritated tone.

"Because like I said earlier...I can't afford to give up! I carry the hopes and dreams of my people on my back! That's why...I'll win this duel!" Crow shouted pumping his fist up into the air. This earned multiple cheers from commons in the crowd.

"Whatever...Turn End. Oh, I forgot to mention Goyou God isn't targeted by your card effects, so whatever your planning won't work. So, take your final turn before I finish this duel!" Ushio shouted.

"During the End Phase of the turn Black Feather Deflection was activated, I can draw a card for every direct attack my opponent declares against me! I draw 2 cards!" Crow shouted as he drew 2.

"C'mon Crow...you can do this..." Yuya said with a hopeful tone.

By banishing a Black Feather Synchro monster in my graveyard, I can special summon a Black Feather Synchro monster that is banished with the same level, but with a different name! I banish Chidori the Rain Sprinkling to revive Raikiri the Sudden Shower!" Crow shouted as Raikiri returned.

"Therefore...Kusanagi gains 2700 ATK!" Crow shouted as the spirits of Raikiri and Mistral floated beside the Synchro monster.

"N-No...this c-can't be...!" Ushio uttered in disbelief.

"Go, Crow!" Yuya and Serena cheered.

"Let's go, Trudge!" Crow shouted. His monster raised it's sword to the sky which attracted lightning that struck the sword, powering it up.

"I see...in that case...face me, Crow Hogan! Don't hold back!" Ushio honorably shouted.

"Kusanagi...attack Goyou God end this duel! Thunder God Blade!" Crow shouted as his monster swung it's sword downwards, which acted as a large energy blade full of electricity that collided with the Fusion monster. As the attack hit, a large explosion occurred.

"Not bad, Crow...GAAAAHH!" Ushio uttered before shouting as he was hit by the explosion.

"And just like that, Crow Hogan has managed to defeat Ushio Trudge in an epic final battle! Now, only 1 duelist is left on Team Security! Will they be able to come out victorious?!" Melissa shouted causing everyone to cheer.

Ushio drove in to the pit and stopped his D-Wheel. He took him helmet off and sighed.

"I'm sorry you two. I only managed to defeat the girl." Ushio said.

"Don't worry, Captain. I can beat both of them!" Frost shouted as he got on his D-Wheel and put his helmet on.

"Good luck, Officer Frost." Ushio nodded.

"Thank! I won't lose again!" Frost shouted before driving off.

"And the next and final duelist on Team Security is none other than one of the most powerful duelists in the Security...Frost!" Melissa shouted as the blue haired youth drove onto the track and behind Crow.

"Oh my god! It's Frost!"

"Heh, so your that Officer that everyone has been talking about?" Crow asked.

"Yeah! I'm the hero of the Tops! And I will beat you no matter what!" Frost shouted.

"I won't give up either! My friends are depending on me! I won't let them down!" Crow shouted.

"This kid isn't bad...he's manipulating his deck perfectly..." Crow said with a nervous smile.

"Now, I tune my level 2 Cryomancer to my level 5 General Wayne! Ruby of the aurora, shine your red light across the field and appear in a blinding storm! Synchro Summon! Level 7! Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a dragon made of blue crystals but glowed red appeared.

"Next, I activate the spell card Double Summon! This card lets me perform an additional normal summon! I summon Mage of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a woman in a blue cloak appeared.

"Now, I tune my level 3 Mage to my level 3 Shock Troops! Sapphire of the aurora, shine your crystal blue light and command the frozen winds! Synchro Summon! Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a dragon seemingly made out of ice that glowed light blue appeared.

"Both dragons in one turn...this isn't good for Crow..." Yuto utteredas he remembered the dragons from his duel with Frost.

"That's a nice pair of dragons you got there. But neither can match Kusanagi!" Crow told the IceBarrier user.

"That's correct. But that doesn't matter! Brionac's effect activates! By discarding a card in my hand, Kusanagi is returned to the extra deck!" Frost shouted as dragon flapped it's wings, causing an icy wind to charged towards the winged warrior. Crow looked up and saw an Action Card floating above in a bubble so he quickly leaned up and grabbed the card.

"Action Spell, Runaway! The activation of your effect is negated! Also, you take 500 points of damage!" Crow countered.

FROST: 4000-3500 LP

"Not bad...but it isn't enough! Gungir's effect activates! By discarding a card, your monster is destroyed!" Frost shouted as his dragon flapped his wings causing blue and red shards of crystals towards the Black Feather monster. The shards ripped through the monster, causing an explosion.

"Kusanagi!" Crow cried as his monster was destroyed.

"This is the end! Brionac, finish him off! Alpha Blizzard!" Frost shouted as his blue dragon shot a icy blue blast towards Crow.

"I'm not losing just yet! Black Feather Deflection's effect activates! I banish Black Feather Deflection along with the highest level Black Feather Synchro monster in my graveyard to negate the direct attack and end the battle phase!" Crow shouted as the spirit of Kusanagi protected him.

"Tch, I set one card facedown, Turn End." Frost concluded.

"Heh...you got some impressive cards, but the bonds between my Black Feathers are far too powerful to lose! My turn! While I have no monsters on my field, I can special summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Gofu the Vague Shadow!" Crow shouted.

"Trap Activate! Ice Barrier Aurora! Ice Barrier monsters on my field can't be destroyed by card effects this turn!" Frost shouted as both of his monsters were surrounded by a colorful aurora-like barrier.

"Tch, Battle! Raikiri, attack Brionac! Lightning Speed Sky Slash!" Crow shouted as his monster flew forwards at incredibly high speeds and sliced through the blue dragon.

"But now your battle phase is over! And on the next turn, I'll-!"

"I'm not finished! Trap Activate! Urgent Tuning! This card lets me perform a Synchro Summon!" Crow shouted.

"What?! But you don't control a tuner!" Frost yelled in confusion.

"Raikiri can be treated as a tuner when a Black Feather monster is used as Synchro material! I tune my level 7 Raikiri the Sudden Shower to my level 1 Jet the Blue Sky!" Crow shouted as his warrior turned into seven green wings that flew around the small bird.

"Could he be summoning..." Yuya trailed off.

"Darkened dragon, spread your pitch-black wings of hope and soar through the sky! Synchro Summon! Soar, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon!" Crow shouted. A ferocious roar enveloped the field as a black dragon appeared. The dragon had pitch-black wings that were red at the tips, a slim black and blue body with a long dark tail, multiple silver blades sticking out of it's body, red and black armor across it's chest, grey claws, a yellow beak, and a pair of red eyes. The dragon flapped it's wings which caused a powerful wind to consume the field.

Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon (2800/1600) LVL:8

"So he finally summoned it..." Jack said as he watched the duel while sitting on his throne.

"That dragon..." Yuya said as he felt a chill go down his spine, remembering his duel against the dragon.

"That's a nice dragon..." Frost admitted.

"Since it's still the battle phase, Dark Storm can still attack! Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon, attack Gungir! Dark Hurricane Burst!" Crow shouted as his monster flapped it's wings creating a powerful whirlwind before firing a black and blue blast which consumed the blue and red dragon.

"It's nice to ride along side you again, Dark Storm..." Crow said as his dragon roared in response.

"I'm not giving up! My turn! I set one card facedown." Frost said as a set card materialized.

"Why is he doing that first?" Dennis asked.

"He's probably setting up some sort of strategy." Yaiba turned to his teammate.

"Now, Supplier of the Ice Barrier effect activates! By sending this card in my hand to the graveyard while I have no other cards in my hand, I can draw 3 cards!" Frost shouted as he drew.

"So you set a card to get your hand down to one...not bad..." Crow said.

"I'm just getting started! I activate the Spell Card, Frozen Call! While I control no monsters, I can check the top card of my deck, and if it is a Ice Barrier monster, I can special summon it!" Frost explained as he gripped the top card of his deck. He closed his eyes for a moment, seemingly praying for the card he needed before drawing the card. He stared at it for a moment and grinned. "I drew Frost Spirit of the Ice Barrier! So, I get to summon it!"

A small blue sea serpent-type monster appeared.

Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as a tiger with blue and white fur appeared. The tiger had a black chest plate that had golden lining on it.

"He didn't use thiscard last time..." Yuto said.

"Next, I activate the Continuous Spell, Crystal Wall of the Ice Barrier! When activated, I can special summon a level 4 or lower Ice Barrier monster from my graveyard! Revive, Frost Spirit of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as his tuner revived.

"Dewloren's effect activates! Once per turn, I can return cards on my field to my hand and this card gains 500 ATK for each one! I return Frost Spirit and Crystal Wall to my hand so Dewloren gains 1000 ATK!" Frost shouted. His tiger roared loudly, causing his spell and tuner to disappear. The tiger was then enveloped in a bright blue aura.

"Battle! Dewloren, attack Dark Storm Dragon! Frost Claw Slash!" Frost commanded as the tiger charged forward and slashed at the dragon with it's glowing blue claws.

"Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon's effect! By decreasing it's ATK by the damage I'm about to take, the damage is reduced to 0! Damage Drain!" Crow shouted. The dragon spread out it's wings and absorbed the damage into his body.

Dark Storm Dragon (2800/1600)-(2600/1600)

"But you're monster is still destroyed!" Frost smirked.

"Is that so?" Crow asked.

"What?!" Yuya said worried as his eyes shook.

"Dark Storm's other effect! By banishing a Level 5 or higher Winged Beast-type monster in my graveyard, it can negate destruction by battle! I banish Sohaya! Feather Endurance!" Crow countered as the spirit of Sohaya appeared and was absorbed into the dragon, giving it strength to stay on the field.

"Damn...Turn End." Frost concluded.

"My turn!" Crow shouted as he drew. "Battle! Dark Storm Dragon, attack Dewloren! Dark Hurricane Burst!"

"You've countered the majority of my moves so far...but I haven't shown you my true strength just yet! My turn!" Frost shouted as he drew. "I activate the Continuous Spell, Crystal Wall of the Ice Barrier once more! When activated, I can special summon a level 4 or lower Ice Barrier monster! Revive, Pilgrim of the Ice Barrier!"

I summon the level 4 Samurai of the Ice Barrier!"

"I tune my level 1 Frost Spirit to my level 4 Pilgrim and my level 4 Samurai! Dragon frozen in the deep depths of the arctic, break free from your glacier prison and bring forth the most powerful blizzard! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 9! Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost exclaimed. In a bright flash of blue light, an extremely large three headed dragon appeared with a loud and ferocious roar. The dragon's body was white and dark blue while it's wings were white and light blue at the bottom. The dragon had yellow eyes with a yellow gem on each of it's heads.

Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrrier (2700/2000) LVL:9

"Amazing! Frost has brought out his ace monster at last!" Melissa shouted.

"Frost! Frost! Frost!" The tips in the crowd cheered.

"Not bad..." Crow said with a worried smirk.

"This dragon..." Yuto uttered, remembering his duel with Frost.

"Trishula's effect activates! When Synchro Summoned, I can banish a card from your hand, a card from your field, and a card from your graveyard!" Frost explained as his monster powered up an attack in each of it's mouths.

"What?!" Crow shouted.

"First, your only card in your hand is banished!" Frost shouted as the right head shot an icy blast that hit Crow's card and caused it to turn into ice. The frozen card then shattered.

"Second, Raikiri in your graveyard is banished!" Frost shouted as the spirit of Raikiri appeared. The left head fired an icy blast at the winged warrior, freezing it into ice before the monster shattered.

"Raikiri!" Crow shouted.

"Third, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon on your field is banished!" Frost commanded while pointing at the dragon. The center head fired a large icy blast directly at the dragon.

"Tch..." Crow clicked his tongue. He spotted an Action Card in a bubble but it was high in the air.

"It's too high!" Yuya shouted in fear.

Crow smirked and pulled up on his D-Wheel, causing his D-Wheel to go on a wheelie.

"Woah! A wheelie?!" Yugo shouted in amazement.

"Dark Storm!" Crow shouted his dragon. The dragon flapped it's wings, creating a whirlwind around the D-Wheel that lifted it upwards for a moment, allowing Crow to grab the Action Card.

"Huh?!" Frost yelled.

"Action Spell, Immunity! I can target a monster on the field and it cannot leave the field due to battle or card effects this turn! I target Dark Storm!" Crow shouted as a yellow barrier blocked the attack.

"How persistent...Battle! Trishula, attack Dark Storm Dragon! Glacier Impact!" Frost shouted. The three headed dragon launched a powerful blue blast from each of it's head towards the dragon.

"Dark Storm's effect activates! Damage Drain!" Crow shouted as his dragon absorbed the attack.

"And due to Immuntiy's effect, my monster can't leave the field due to battle!" Crow explained.

"Tch, it doesn't matter! Your dragon can no longer protect itself from destruction since all of your level 5 or higher monster's in your graveyard are banished!" Frost shouted.

'He's right...Kusanagi, Sohaya, Chidori, and Raikiri are all banished already...' Crow thought to himself.

"I'll end you soon enough. Turn End." Frost concluded.

"I'm not finished just yet! My turn...Draw!" Crow nervously shouted as he drew his card. His eyes widened before he looked at his opponent's dragon.

"Did he get the card he needed?" Yuya asked with a worried tone.

"I...set one card facedown, turn end." Crow concluded.

"My turn! Battle! Trishula, attack Dark Storm Dragon! Glacier Impact!" Frost commanded as his monster launched it's blue blast towards the opposing dragon.

"...Trap Activate! Costly Guard! When my opponent declares an attack, I can target one monster on my field and it cannot be destroyed by battle! But, the damage I would take is doubled!" Crow explained.

"Doubling the damage...?" Yuzu asked with a confused look.

"Dark Storm's effect activates! Damage Drain!"

"Tch, I set one card facedown, turn end." Frost concluded.

"My turn!" Crow shouted as he drew before pointing at his dragon. "Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon's effect activates! Once per turn, when my dragon has lost at least 700 ATK, it's ATK is restored to it's original amount!"

"Huh?!" Frost shouted.

"And then, for every 700 ATK this card gains through it's effect...one monster on your field is destroyed!" Crow shouted.

"N-No way..." Frost uttered.

"So that's why he doubled the damage...to get his dragon to 2100 ATK...amazing!" Yuya praised his friend.

"Go, Shadow Gale Blast!" Crow shouted. His dragon flapped it's wings, creating a powerful wind. The dragon then shot a sphere of blue and black energy towards the icy dragon, destroying it in a big explosion.

"With an amazing strategy, Crow has managed to destroy Frost's ace!" Melissa shouted causing the crowd to cheer.

"..." Frost looked in horror at the sight of his destroyed monster before looking down, seemingly giving up.

"Battle! This is the end! Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon, Direct Attack! Dark Hurricane Burst!" Crow shouted as his monster flapped it's wings creating a powerful whirlwind before firing a black and blue blast which consumed the blue and red dragon.

"...Trap Activate! Defense of the Ice Barrier! When my opponent declares a direct attack, I can target a Ice Barrier monster in my graveyard that was destroyed and the damage is reduced by it's ATK! I target Trishula!" Frost exclaimed as the spirit of Trishula appeared in front of him before he was hit by Crow's ATK.

"He didn't win..." Serena uttered.

Then I activate it's effect! By discarding it while I have no other cards in my hand...I draw 3 cards!" Frost shouted as he drew.

"Drawing more cards..." Crow grunted.

"I activate the Spell Card, Ice Barrier Revenge! I can special summon a Ice Barrier monster that was destroyed last turn but with it's effects negated! Rise, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Frost shouted as his ace returned.

"Another Synchro Summon...!" Crow uttered in a nervous tone.

Suddenly, the stadium was enveloped in a cold winter wind.

"Trishula's effect activates! When Synchro Summoned...I CAN BANISH UP TO THREE CARDS ON YOUR FIELD!" Frost shouted with a grin.

"WHAT?!" Crow shouted as his eyes widened in terror.

"No way!" Yuya shouted in disbelief.

"Say goodbye to Dark Storm Dragon and your set card!" Frost shouted as his dragon launched a powerful blast from it's head that annihilated his opponent's field.

"Dark Storm!" Crow shouted.

"Battle! Trishula, Direct Attack! SUBZERO IMPACT!" Frost shouted. The dragon fired three Speer ware blasts from each of it's mouths that combined into one humongous blast that was heading directly for Crow.

"Crow's going to lose!" Serena eye's widened.

"..." Crow looked down for a moment before raising his head upwards. "Black Feather - Return from the Void's effect in my graveyard activates! While I have 4 or more Black Feather Synchro monsters that are banished, I can banish this card to negate a direct attack!"

The spirits of Kusanagi, Sohaya, Chidori, and Raikiri blocked the attack before disappearing.

"Thanks, my monsters." Crow said.

"Damn...Turn End." Frost concluded.

"All my powerful Synchro monsters are banished...I have no card on my field or in my hand..." Crow said as he gripped his chest.

"Have you given up?" Frost smirked.

"No...there has to be an answer...that's why...I won't give up!" Crow shouted with a determined look.

"Crow..." Yuya uttered.

"My turn, draw!" Crow shouted as he drew. He looked at his card and his eyes widened. He then looked down, causing his visor to go dark.

"What's wrong? Didn't get what you needed?" Frost grinned.

"I...set one card facedown...Turn End." Crow concluded.

"I've won! My turn! I set one card facedown. BATTLE! Trishula, Direct Attack! SUBZERO IMPACT!" Frost shouted. The dragon fired three Speer ware blasts from each of it's mouths that combined into one humongous blast that was heading directly for Crow.

"GAAAAHHH!" Crow shouted as the blast collided, causing a huge explosion.

"CROW!" Yuya shouted in horror.

"With the power of his new monster, Frost has managed to defeat Crow! Now, both teams only have 1 duelist left!" Melissa shouted.

"I guess you didn't find the answer in your deck after all!" Frost taunted.

"I never said the answer would help me...The turn isn't over...so I can still do this!" Crow shouted as he raced out of the smoke.

"What?!" Frost shouted.

"Continuous Trap, Damage Dealer! When I take damage, I can place a counter on this card for every 800 ATK the attacking monster had! I place 3 counters on it!" Crow shouted.

"I see, so you took damage to activate that card..." Frost said.

"It seems Crow has set up a card effect for his team's final duelist, despite his life points dropping to 0!" Melissa shouted.

Crow then drove into the pit and got off his D-Wheel.

"Sorry guys." Crow said before wincing in pain.

"Crow! Are you hurt?!" Yuya asked as he rushed over to Crow.

"Don't worry, kid. I'm fine. Take this and go beat that guy, ok?" Crow said handing Yuya the card.

Yuya gained a serious expression and took the card. He got on his D-Wheel and set the card in his Spell/Trap card zone. He put his goggles over his eyes and then put on his red helmet. He got on his red D-Wheel and activated it's yellow blade before driving off.

"Go, Yuya! Beat him!" Serena shouted.

"The final duelist for Team United Hope is a boy named Yuya Sakaki!" Melissa shouted as Yuya raced out onto the track and drove behind Frost.

"Hey, he looks like that Yugo guy, doesn't he?"

"Are they twins or something?"

"So your my next opponent?" Frost asked looking back at the boy who was driving behind him. His eyes widened as instead of seeing Yuya, he saw the form of Yuto, the boy who beat him. This seriously pissed him off. "I'm going to beat you! Then, I'll go get my revenge on your look alike!"

"I'll prevent that from happening! I'll defeat you right now!" Yuya shouted.

"Let's go!" Frost shouted.

"DUEL!"

"Frost may only have 2700 life points, but he has a powerful 2700 ATK Dragon his field! Also, Yuya is starting with the trap Crow left him which has 3 counters! Lets see which of these two will come out victorious!" Melissa shouted.

"My turn!" Yuya shouted as he drew. He looked at the card and his eyes widened. "Smile World..."

He wanted to make the Ice Barrier user pay for hurting Crow and for threatening to hurt Yuto. But...he had promised Yuzu that he would always duel for what he believed in...bringing smiles to others.

"...Ladies and Gentleman!" Yuya extended his arms outwards to the crowd.

"...what?" Frost asked with a confused tone.

"I, Yuya Sakaki, the creator of Pendulum Summoning, will put on a spectacular performance that will make you all smile!" Yuya shouted.

"Creator of Pendulum Summoning?"

"He must be strong!"

"Let's start things off with this! With the Scale 3 Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix, and the Scale 8 Entermate Odd Eyes Unicorn, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya shouted as the red and green eyed Phoenix and Unicorn appeared in the blue columns.

Timesword Magician!" Yuya shouted as he pointed up to the portal in the sky that shot out one light. Out of the light, a small male magician with dark hair appeared. He had a dark clothing and carried a black sword.

"He Pendulum Summoned only one monster?" Gongenzaka said with a confused expression.

"All that just to summon a weak monster? What are you trying to do?" Frost taunted.

"Timesword's effect activates! When this card is Pendulum Summoned from my hand alone, his ATK is doubled!" Yuya smiled as his magician raised his sword in the air, powering up.

"It's stronger than Trishula!" Yugo shouted in excitement.

"He managed to summon a monster more powerful than Trishula in just one turn!"

"Cool!"

"Alright! It's time to battle! Timesword Magician, attack Trishula!" Yuya commanded as his magician jumped forward towards the dragon.

"Trap Activate! Synchro Endurance! Trishula can't be be destroyed this turn!" Frost exclaimed as the magician slash the dragon, causing Frost to flinch from a minor shockwave.

"I set 1 card facedown, Turn End!" Yuya concluded.

"My turn! I activate the Equip Spell, Spirit Armor of the Ice Barrier and I equip it to Trishula! Now, I can target an Ice Barrier monster in my graveyard and I can equip it to Trishula! Then, Trishula will gain ATK equal to the equipped monster's level times 200! I equip the level 9 Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, to Trishula, Subzero Dragon of the Ice Barrier! Therefore, Subzero gains 1800 ATK!" Frost shouted as the spirit of his previous dragon appeared behind his evolved dragon.

"4500 ATK?!" Yuya's eyes widened in shock.

"GO FROST!"

"You can do it!"

"Battle! Trishula, attack Timesword Magician! SUBZERO IMPACT!" Frost shouted as his dragon shot a powerful blue blast towards the magician.

"Trap Activate! Entermate Signal! This card lets me draw a card and then I must send it to the graveyard. And if it's an Entermate monster, the attack is negated! Let's test my luck! Draw!" Yuya smiled as he dramatically drew and held his card up in the air.

"C'mon, Yuya!" Crow cheered.

"Alright! It's the monster, Entermate Whip Viper! And by sending it to the graveyard, the attack is negated!" Yuya explained as a stop light appeared on his field. The stop light flashed red, causing the attack to dissipate.

"Tch...your pesky tricks won't keep you in this duel for long! Turn End!" Frost concluded.

"That dragon of yours sure is strong, but I'm not backing down! My turn! I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw 2 cards!" Yuya shouted as he drew 2. "With the Set Scale, Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! Entermate Sword Fish! Entermate Bot Eyes Lizard! And the earth shaking leader of the Entermates comes before us now! Entermate Hammer Mammo!"

Out of the portal, a purple humanoid lizard with a orange vest and a red umbrella appeared along with a light blue hippo that had a hammer at the end of it's trunk.

"What the hell is this?" Frost asked with annoyed expression.

"Now, all monsters on the field gain 100 ATK for every monster on the field!" Yuya shouted as both of their monsters powered up.

"Go, Timesword! Attack Trishula!" Yuya commanded. The monster jumped high into the air before slicing the dragon down the middle, causing a huge explosion that covered the field.

"GAAAAAHH!" Frost yelled.

"He destroyed Trishula!"

"Pendulum sure is strong!"

"All Yuya needs to do is attack directly with Hammer Mammo and he wins!"Serena exclaimed.

"Go, Yuya!" Crow shouted.

"It's time for the climax! Hammer Mammo, attack-!"

"Not so fast!" Frost shouted with a grin. "Now it's time for you to witness my dragons true power!"

"True power?" Yuya repeated.

"When Trishula, Subzero Dragon of the Ice Barrier is destroyed, all monsters on your field have their effects negated and their ATKs halved! Go, FINAL RAGNAROK!" Frost yelled with a grin as the field was covered in powerful snowy winds.

"What?!" Yuya shouted as his monsters were weakened by the cold. Bot Eyes also reverted back to it's normal form due to it's effect being negated.

"Trishula, attack Bot Eyes Lizard! GLACIER IMPACT!" Frost yelled as Bot Eyes was destroyed by a powerful blue blast.

"GRAAAAH!" Yuya yelled.

YUYA: 4000-1500 LP

"Yuya!" Yuzu shouted as she saw the explosion covered the field on her team's tv.

"Healer's effect! When an Ice Barrier monster damages my opponent, by releasing this monster, I gain life points equal to the damage!" Frost exclaimed as he was covered in a light blue aura.

"He regained his life points..." Yugo's eyes widened in shock.

"FROST! FROST! FROST!" The crowd cheered.

Frost then caught glance of an Action Card on the left side of the track. He raced to the left and grabbed the card. "Action Spell, Wonder Chance! Trishula can attack again! Attack Hammer Mammo and end this duel! GLACIER IMPACT!"

As Frost commanded his attack, Yuya saw an Action Card on the right side of the track. Frost saw it too but he was to far to the right to grab the card. Yuya drove to the right and reached his hand down, praying for a card that he could use to survive. "Action Spell, Damage Banish! The damage is reduced to 0!"

"Tch...Turn End!" Frost concluded.

"Knock him off of his D-Wheel, Frost!"

"Frost! Show no mercy!"

Yuya looked in sadness as the crowd made violent remarks. This isn't what he wanted. He wanted to make the crowd smile from entertainment, not pain.

"What's wrong? Have you realized you won't be able to entertain these people?" Frost taunted.

"My turn...!" Yuya shouted as he nervously drew. "I...switch Timesword Magician to defense mode, Turn End."

"My turn! Trishula, attack Timesword! GLACIER IMPACT!" Frost exclaimed.

"Grrr..." Yuya grunted as his magician was destroyed.

"Hah!" Frost yelled as he reached down and grabbed the Action Card. "Action Spell, Encore! This card lets me use the effect of an Action Card in the graveyard! I'll have it use Wonder Chance so Trishula can attack again! Direct Attack! GLACIER IMPACT!"

The blast closed in on Yuya, who was looking down with sad eyes.

"Yuya! Snap out of it!" Serena yelled.

"Don't give up,Yuya!" Crow shouted.

"Now die!" Frost yelled with a grin.

As the blast was about hit, Yuya looked up with a pissed off look in his eyes. "Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix's Pendulum Effect activates! When I am attacked directly, by destroying Entermate Odd Eyes Unicorn, I can special summon this card!"

The red Phoenix flew out of the Pendulum zone and flew in front of the attack, saving Yuya.

"Now you have nothing! There's no way you can win this duel now! Give up! Turn End!" Frost yelled in anger.

"I'll...win...no matter what...I'm going to beat you!" Yuya shouted with angry and determined eyes.

"Yuya...He's losing himself..." Yuzu uttered.

"My turn...draw!" Yuya shouted as he drew. "I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Riches! Since there are 3 or more Pendulum monsters in my extra deck, I draw 2 cards!Next, I activate the Spell card, Double Reborn Level 4! Now, both of us must revive a level 4 monster from our graveyards in defense mode! I revive the level 4 Entermate Bot Eyes Lizard!"

The purple lizard with a red umbrella appeared once more.

"I don't know what you are planning, but you aren't winning this duel!" Frost shouted at the Pendulum user.

"...That's what you think! Behold, the power of evolution!" Yuya shouted as he grabbed a card in his hand and held it up high. "Now, I release the LIGHT Entermate Fireflux in order to evolve Odd Eyes Dragon into a new dragon!"

The fire fly turned into bright yellow energy that flew into Yuya's dragon, causing it to be covered in a blinding light.

"Evolving your dragon?!" Frost yelled.

"Come forth, the dazzling light of salvation that penetrates the darkness of despair! Odd Eyes Saber Dragon!" Yuya shouted. Out of the bright light, a new Odd Eyes dragon appeared. The dragon was red and had a blue orb in it's stomach similar to Odd Eyes Dragon. The dragon was covered in white and yellow armor that had multiple blue and purple gems on it. The dragon had white and yellow blades protruding from it's armor and also had a blade attached to the end of it's tail.

Odd Eyes Saber Dragon (2800/2000) LVL: 7

"Odd Eyes...Saber Dragon?" Yuzu asked with a confused look.

"Woah! That dragon looks sick!" Yugo shouted.

"Yuya's never had that dragon!" Gogenzaka shouted.

"Another Odd Eyes evolution...!" Yuto said in amazement.

"A new dragon...but it doesn't matter! It's far too weak to match up to Trishula!" Frost yelled.

"That's...what you think!" Yuya shouted with a serious look.

"What?!"

"BATTLE! Odd Eyes Saber Dragon, attack Samurai of the Ice Barrier! Spiral Light Burst!" Yuya yelled as his monster shot a yellow and red spiraling blast at the Samurai, destroying it.

"So what?!" Frost yelled.

"Odd Eyes Saber Dragon's effect activates! When this card destroys a monster, my dragon can destroy one monster on your field!" Yuya yelled.

"What?!" Frost yelled.

"Trishula is destroyed! Shinning Force!" Yuya shouted as his dragon shot a white yellow blast that consumed the Ice Barrier Dragon.

"TRISHULA!" Frost shouted as his dragon was destroyed.

"In a shocking turn of events, Yuya has successfully managed to take out Trishula!" Melissa yelled with a surprised tone.

"Woah! I didn't expect that!"

"This kid is pretty good!"

"I set one card facedown, Turn End." Yuya concluded.

"I'm glad you are getting serious! That makes is so much more satisfying when I win! My turn!" Frost shouted as he drew. "Hahaha! I activate the Equip Spell Card, Revenge of the Ice Barrier! This card lets me revive an Ice Barrier monster that was destroyed last turn and it is equipped with this card! Revive, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrrier (2700/2000) LVL:9

"Battle! Trishula, attack Odd Eyes Saber Dragon! At this moment, Revenge of the Ice Barrier's effect activates! If the equipped monster attacks the monster that destroyed it during the previous turn, the equipped monster gains 1000 ATK!" Frost shouted as his dragon powered up.

Trishula (2700/2000)-(3700/2000)

"Trap Activate! Odd Eyes Endurance! Odd Eyes monsters on my field can't be destroyed this turn!" Yuya shouted as his monster was hit by a powerful blue blast, but endured the attack.

YUYA: 1500-600 LP

"Only 600 life points..." Serena said with a worried look.

"Tsk..." Yuya let out as he regained control of his shaking D-Wheel.

"Turn End!" Frost concluded.

Trishula (3700/2000)-(2700/2000)

"These two really aren't pulling any punches..." Melissa said in awe.

"During the end phase Odd Eyes Endurance was activated, I can draw a card for every different Odd Eyes monster that was attacked! I draw 1 card!" Yuya shouted as he drew.

"Yuya really is serious..." Crow noticed.

"I will win! My turn, draw!" Yuya shouted as he drew. He looked at the card for a moment before slamming it onto his duel disk blade. "I activate the Spell Card, Gap Power! While I have less life points then my opponent, one monster in my field gains ATK equal to the difference! Odd Eyes Saber Dragon gains 1500 ATK!"

Saber Dragon (2800/2000)-(4300/2000)

"BATTLE! Saber Dragon, attack Trishula! SPIRAL LIGHT BURST!" Yuya commanded as his powered up Dragon shot a powerful attack towards the blue dragon.

"I banish Synchro Endurance to halve the damage!" Frost exclaimed.

"But your monster is still destroyed!" Yuya yelled.

"Not so fast! By sending Revenge of the Ice Barrier to the graveyard, my monster's destruction is negated!" Frost yelled as his dragon was hit but he shinning attack.

FROST: 3600-2800 LP

"Damn...Turn End..." Yuya grunted.

"Hehehe...you're not half bad...but I have a mission...and nothing will stop me from completing it! My turn...DRAW!" Frost shouted with a serious expression as he drew. " I activate the Spell Card, Synchro Supplyment! I gains life points equal to Trishula's level times 100! Then, I draw a card for every 200 I gain! I gain 900 and draw 4!"

FROST: 2800-3700 LP

"Tch..." Yuya clicked his tongue.

"Then, I activate the Spell Card, Frozen Assistance! I can special summon a Ice Barrier monster with a lower Level than another Ice Barrier on the field! But it's effects are negated! Return, Gungir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier (2500/1700) LVL:7

"Next, I summon Sagess of the Ice Barrier!" An elder women in blue appeared.

Sagess of the Ice Barrier (1400/1000) LVL: 4

"Her effect activates! By releasing her and by discarding a card in my hand, I can bring back another Ice Barrier from the graveyard but with it's effects negated! Revive, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier (2300/1400) LVL:6

"But they are too weak to destroy Saber Dragon..." Serena said with a confused look.

"HAHAHAHA! Prepare to witness my full power! By banishing 3 monsters with different names on my field, I can perform...A FUSION SUMMON!" Frost shouted cause ding all of the Lancers eyes to widen in shock and fear.

"WHAT?!" Yuya yelled.

"A C-Contact Fusion..." Serena's eyes widened in fear.

"Ruby of the aurora! Sapphire of the aurora! Three headed dragon guardian! Merge into one and become the raging blizzard that covers the world in ice! CONTACT FUSION! Come forth! Level 9! TRISHULA, THE DRAGON OF ICY IMPRISONMENT!" Frost yelled at the top of his ice lungs. In a bright flash of shinning blue light, a dragon similar to Trishula emerged. The dragon had much sharper white and blue armor and had 4 large wings light blue wings. The dragon's presence caused the field to be covered in

Trishula, The Dragon of Icy Imprisonment (2700/2000) LVL:9

"Another Fusion Monster...!" Yuzu uttered in fear for Yuya.

"But how could they have all gotten Fusions? They have always been in the Synchro Dimension!" Yugo said.

"DAMN IT!" Shun shouted, getting up and punching the wall.

"C-Contact Fusion..." Yuto uttered, remembering Hell Kaiser using the same method.

"...how...do you have that card...?" Yuya looked at his opponent monster with an angry look.

"That doesn't matter! All that matters is that I'm going to crush you right now! Trishula's effect activates! When this card is summoned with dragon-type monsters as Fusion Materials, by banishing a card in my deck, a card in your extra deck and the top card of your deck is banished!" Frost exclaimed as the monster released a frosty wave that hit Yuya's D-Wheel, causing the top card in his deck to freeze and shatter. Also, Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix in Yuya's extra deck was also frozen before shattering.

"It doesn't matter...Odd Eyes Saber Dragon is stronger!" Yuya yelled.

"Not for long! Trishula's other effect activates! This card gains 500 ATK for every Ice Barrier Synchro monster used as Fusion materials!" Frost yelled as his dragon was enveloped in a shinning blue aura.

Trishula (2700/2000)-(4200/2000)

(A/N: Yes, I gave Fusion Trishula an extra effect to make it stronger since it's normal effect isn't the greatest)

"4-4200 ATK?!" Serena shouted.

"No way..." Yuya uttered in disbelief.

"Trishula...attack Odd Eyes Saber Dragon and end this duel! AVALANCHE IMPACT!" Frost exclaimed as the dragon charged an extremely powerful ball of blue energy. The dragon then shot it forward towards the opposing dragon.

"YUYA!" Serena and Crow yelled.

"I...won't lose to someone like you! Entermate Barrier Balloon Tapir's effect activates! By sending it from my hand to the graveyard, the damage is reduced to 0!" Yuya countered as his purple monster appeared in front of them while his dragon was obliterated.

"Your persistence is seriously pissing me off! Just give up already!" Frost yelled with an aggressive tone.

"I won't ever give up against someone who uses dueling to hurt others!" Yuya shouted with a determined look.

"Take him out, Frost!"

"You can do it, Yuya!"

The crowd was cheering for both duelist.

"This battle is crazy intense!" Melissa shouted.

"Whatever, take your last pathetic turn before I crush you! I set one card facedown, Turn End!" Frost shouted.

"I have no monsters left...and I have no cards in my hand...damn it..." Yuya grunted.

"Yuya! Don't you dare give up hope!" Serena shouted.

"That's right! You still have one last trick up your sleeve!" Crow yelled.

"Crow...Serena...that's right there is one last thing I can do! During my draw phase, while I have no cards in my hand or on my field, by sending the Continuous Trap, Damage Dealer on my field to the graveyard, I can draw an additional card during my draw for every counter this face up card had!" Yuya explained as his trap that Crow left for him disappeared.

"Huh?!" Frost let out.

"The amount of counters was 3..." Yuto remembered.

"So Yuya can draw 4 cards during his draw!" Gongenzaka realized.

"My turn..." Yuya began, putting his hand on his deck.

"C'mon, Yuya..." Yuzu prayed.

"...DRAW!" Yuya yelled as he drew, creating an arc of light with his arm motion. He then quickly scanned at his cards, praying he could use them. His eyes widened as he saw that one of his cards was none other than the card Sam had given. 'Damn...with thesecards...'

"Stop stalling and make a move!" Frost yelled.

"...With the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician, and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya yelled as he set his signature magicians into the blue columns.

Stargazer 1 - 8 Timegazer

"Swing Pendulum of my souls, draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! From my hand, Entermate Silver Claw! And from my extra deck, Timesword Magician!" Yuya shouted pointing his arms upwards towards the portal in the sky. Two lights shot out revealing a silver wolf and his small magician carrying a sword.

Timesword Magician (1400/0) LVL: 3

Entermate Silver Claw (1800/700) LVL: 4

"You think setting up puny defenses will work! Trap Activate! Battle of the Ice Barrier! While I control an Ice Barrier monster, all monsters on my opponent's field are switched to face up attack mode!" Frost explained with a grin.

Timesword Magician (1400/0)-(1400/0)

Silver Claw (1800/700)-(1800/700)

"With this move, Yuya won't be able to protect himself from Trishula! Is this the end for the creator of Pendulum?!" Melissa shouted.

"..." Yuya looked down causing his goggles to go dark. After everything he's been through, is he really going to lose hear?

'I promised to Sam that I would convey his feeling by using this card but...I'm going to lose before I get the chance...' Yuya thought.

As he thought to himself, the form of Tuning Magician appeared next to him.

"T-Tuning Magician...!" Yuya uttered in shock.

The magician nodded at the confused boy. Yuya looked at the magician in awe before receiving a vision.

He saw the shadow of a new swordsman magician carrying two large blades.

As the vision ended, Yuya looked at the magician and smiled. "I understand. Thank you."

Tuning Magician smiled at the boy before disappearing.

"That's right...I can't give up! I'm fighting for my friends...my family...and everyone in all the dimensions! When I'm dueling this way...there's no way I can lose!" Yuya shouted as he grabbed Pendant that he had taken out of his outfit.

"Yuya..." Yuzu uttered.

"I normal summon the tuner monster, Tuning Magician!" Yuya shouted as a girl magician with pink hair appeared. The girl had a white outfit that had green lining and she carried a large tuning fork.

Tuning Magician (0/0) LVL: 1

"A new Tuner?!" Yugo said in a surprised tone.

"When Tuning Magician is summoned, it's owner takes 400 damage while the opponent gains 400 life points!" Yuya explained. The magician hit her tuning fork which caused a sound wave that damaged Yuya while healing Frost.

YUYA: 600-200 LP

FROST: 3700-4100 LP

"What is he thinking?!" Sawatari shouted.

"Why would he do that?" Hokuto asked.

"Using a card that damages himself while healing the opponent..." Masumi uttered with a confused look.

"Yuya has to have some type of plan..." Yuto hoped.

"HAHAHAHA! You're an idiot, you know that?! Using such a weak and pathetic card shows how weak you are as a duelist!" Frost yelled.

"...No cards are weak or pathetic! Every card has a purpose, no matter it's stats or effects! I'll prove that right now! I tune my level 1 Tuning Magician to my level 3 Timesword Magician and my level 4 Silver Claw!" Yuya shouted as his pendant shined. The girl magician turned into a green ring that flew around Silver Claw and Timesword Magician.

"EH?! He can't be summoning Meteorburst or Odd Eyes Wing!" Yugo shouted.

"Is he summoning...a new monster...?" Yuzu asked in a surprised tone.

"Hero's blade that sets forth unyielding light! Now and here, along with a flash, awaken! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Level 8! Magical Swordsman of Awakening! Enlightenment Paladin!" Yuya exclaimed as a new Synchro monster appeared in a flash of light. The magician-type warrior had light skin and brown hair. His outfit was white, black, and red. The magician carried two silver blades that had golden handles.

Enlightenment Paladin (2500/2000) LVL: 8

"Amazing! Like in Yugo's duel against the king, Yuya used aPendulum Summon to fuel a Synchro Summon!"

"Enlightenment...Paladin..." Yuzu uttered in amazement.

"N-No matter! That monster is still nothing compared to mine!" Frost yelled.

"You think so?" Yuya asked.

"What?!"

"Enlightenment Paladin's effect activates! When a Magician monster is used as Synchro Material, I can add one Spell Card from my graveyard to my hand!" Yuya explained. His magician held the handles of his blades together, causing a clock to appeared behind him. The clocks arrows began to spin backwards, causing time to go backwards.

"What the hell?!" Frost yelled as he and Yuya's D-Wheels to go backwards.

"I add the Spell Card, Gap Power back to my hand!" Yuya exclaimed as the spell appeared in his hand.

"T-That card...!" Frost's eyes widened.

"I activate the Spell Card, Gap Power once more! One monster on my field's ATK is increased equal to half the difference in our life points!" Yuya shouted.

"Yuya has 200 life points! And Frost has 4100 life points!" Yuto said.

"So the difference in their life points are 3900! Which means...!" Gongenzaka realized.

"Enlightenment Paladin gains 1950 ATK!" Yuya shouted as his monster was enveloped in a yellow aura.

Enlightenment Paladin (2500/2000)-(4450/2000)

"4-4450 ATK?!" Frost shouted with a nervous tone.

"This is all thank to Tuning Magician, the card that you called weak and pathetic! This card led me to summoning Enlightenment Paladin and also widened the gap in our life points, allowing Gap Power to strengthen Enlightenment Paladin beyond Trishula's ATK!" Yuya explained as the spirit of Tuning Magician appeared beside Enlightenment Paladin.

"That card could be used in such a way...!" Sam uttered in amazement.

"My victory is thanks to Tuning Magician! No cards are useless! If you accept the card's feelings, they will always answer to you!" Yuya shouted.

"Yuya..." Yuzu smiled.

"You haven't won just yet! You may be able to defeat Trishula...but I'll have plenty of life points left!" Frost yelled.

"We'll see about that! BATTLE! Enlightenment Paladin, attack Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment! ASCENSION BLADE SLASH!" Yuya shouted. The swordsman combined the handles of the two blades creating one double edged weapon. He flew towards the dragon while spinning his weapon for slashing the dragon down the middle, causing it to roar in pain. The dragon bursted causing a huge explosion.

"TRISHULA!" Frost yelled.

FROST: 4100-3850 LP

"Enlightenment Paladin's effect! When this card destroyed a monster, he can inflict damage to my opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK!" Yuya shouted.

"WHAT?!" Frost eyes widened in horror.

"Take 4200 points of damage and lose! ENLIGHTENED SPIRIT BREAK!" Yuya yelled. His monster seperated it's blades again and pointed them directly at Frost. The blades were surrounded by green energy. The swordsman fired the blast which resembled Frost's destroyed Trishula.

"GAAAAHHH!" Frost yelled as the blast collided with his D-Wheel, sending him flying off.

FROST: 3850-0 LP

WINNER: TEAM UNITED HOPE

"There it is! Using an amazing combination of cards and a climatic final attack, Yuya managed to win against Frost! This means Team United Hope is the winner of the first round!" Melissa declared causing the crowd to go wild.

"That was amazing!"

"I'm gonna root for this team here on out!"

"Way to send him flying, Yuya!"

"To think we considered that weak guy a hero!"

Yuya quickly stopped his D-Wheel and tried to run over the unconscious Frost, but was stopped by the medical team who were carryied the body away on a stretcher.

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to hurt you!" Yuya yelled trying to get by the men.

"Yuya's it's ok." Crow said patting the boys back.

"Yeah, you beat him, right? And the crowd is smiling." Serena told the boy.

"...I won...but at what cost..." Yuya said with a sad tone as he looked over his shoulder and saw Ushio, DC 227, and the unconscious Frost were taken away. "And the reason they are cheering...it's because I hurt Frost..."

"But you did what you had to do to win." Serena said which made Yuya's eye twitch.

"...I promised Yuzu I would duel for what I believe in...but I'm doing the exact opposite..." Yuya said as he looked down before walking away from his teammates.

"Yuya-!"

"Leave him be. He needs to cool off. You can talk to him later back in the room." Crow told the girl.

With Team Blades of Bravery

"Thank goodness..." Gongenzaka sighed in relief at the sight of his best friend winning the duel.

"That was close. I'm glad he pulled through." Masumi said.

"Damn it..." Yuto uttered while looking down causing his face to be covered in darkness. His fists were were shaking and his posture tightened.

"Yuto...?" Masumi said in concern.

"Fusion monsters may be one thing...but there is no way in hell that a Contact Fusion monster could be made..." Yuto said.

"That means...!" Gongenzaka said as he realized Yuto's point.

"That's right...Academia has already infiltrated this dimension...!"

And finish! Holy crap I can't believe I wrote the longest chapter in the series in 11 days. I really hope you guys enjoyed this chapter because I really tried my best to make it entertaining. Also, I'm really happy with the way things turned out and for my first attempt at this format, I think I did a good job. So, I wasn't initially going to do this duel first, but out of all the duels in the first round this is the second duel that I was most hyped to make. The first was a duel that I'm planning on writing as the last duel of the first round for reasons you'll see later on. So, I decided to do this duel first since I was really motivated to make it.

Remember, just because one character won during one of these duels, doesn't mean they are necessarily stronger. Like just because Frost beat Crow or Trudge beat Serena doesn't mean they are better. So please don't be salty if one of your favorite characters lose in one of these 3v3s.

Real quick, I want to talk about teams. If you have a good memory and watched 5Ds, Team Taiyo, Team Catastrophe, and Team Unicorn are teams Team 5Ds dueled. They will both be dueling in this fic. And if you are ultra mega big brain, you might have remembered Team White Wind, Lightning, and Fortune Ark. These weren't made up, but were actually references to the WRGP. These 3 teams will be the only teams that I write duels for. And the teams that beat them will NOT be Lancers. All lancer team's duels will be written. Same with Team Devastion, due to them being the main villains in the tournament. I wasn't kidding when I said there would be a LOT of Legacy characters.

So, I'm just gonna go over some stuff about the duel instead of breaking each part down, since this chapter is so long, I'll just go over a few things. So, I honestly had a hell of a fun time writing this. Yuya, Crow, and Serena use some of my favorite decks so it was really fun to script them. I kept 227's duel with Serena similar to Yuya's duel with 227 in the anime because he didn't really have too many cards to begin with. I hope you guys like the Fusion I gave Ushio because I wanted to make it stronger than 227's Fusion. Also, I hope you don't mind me adding the Fusion Trishula's extra effect but I felt it needed it. This is kinda what I did with Yuya's Odd Eyes Meteorburst in this story. I may do this with some cards in the future. I don't know if you guys expected Saber Dragon AND Enlightenment Paladin to both appear in one duel, but here they are. I did this to make the duel more epic and to add more suspense.

I didn't want to use Rex because he was a main villain so I use the three I thought I could use as evil bounty hunters or something.
