With Yuto and Yugo

The two boys rode on Yugo's D-Wheel, chasing after the Fusion user on a highway in the city.

"There he is!" Yuto pointed out as he saw Yuri standing on the side of a bridge.

"That bastard!" Yugo growled.

Yuri felt his heart skip a beat as his counterparts drew near. He looked up and saw the two racing towards him, causing him to smirk.

"This should be fun." Yuri grinned before jumping onto the top of a truck.

"How the hell are we going to get to him?!" Yugo shouted.

"I have an idea! Pull up to the truck!" Yuto commanded.

Yugo drove next to the truck, causing Yuri to gain an amused look on his face.

Yuto then took his helmet off and placed it on the D-Wheel. He stood up on the D-Wheel and jumped onto the side of the truck.

"Eh?!" Yugo shouted.

Yuto managed to propel himself upwards and stood on top of the truck with Yuri.

"I have to say...that was quite impressive. Your determination to save your girlfriend gives you the ability to pull off drastic stunts." Yuri said with a childish grin.

"Give. Me. Back. My. Ruri!" Yuto angrily shouted at the purple and pink haired boy.

"As much as I would love to duel you on the roof of a moving truck, Isadly have somewhere to be right now. But, you do have my respect.Later~." Yuri waved as he jumped off of the highway and onto another road beneath the highway.

"Damn it! Yugo, try to keep up! I'm going to follow him!" Yuto shouted as he too jumped off of the highway.

"Yuto! Damn it!" Yugo growled. The boy raced off, determined to find his love.

Yugo is riding his D-Wheel down a Duel Lane at night, the neon signs and billboards of City aglow with life as he passes by. Out on a boat in the sea, Yuri faces Academia, arms visibly crossed.

I Gotta Crush and Paint Away

The Lancers appear standing in front of the LDS logo. From left to right; Hokuto, Masumi, Yaiba stand back-to-back, ready for battle, Yaiba holding his signature wooden katana over his shoulder.

Sawatari stands self-assure with a proud grin on his face. Yugo leans on his D-Wheel, sporting a big friendly grin. Serena holds herself ready for battle, the faintest hint of longingness on her face.

Yuto stands back-to-back with Kurosaki, who bears a stoic and battle-hardened scowl. Roy is holding up his Duel Disk, trying to look intimidating, failing because he's next to Kurosaki.

Tsukkikage kneels in front of the Akabas, holding an arm out in front of them in a declaration of protection. Reira hides behind Reiji.

Rightmost is Sora, who is consumed by the shadow and looking away from the group. But two hands reach out to him, causing him to turn around towards the light.

Until You Find The Answer

Cut to the Standard, Xyz and Synchro counterparts together on a grassy hill, gazing at the starry night sky. Yuzu and Ruri rest their heads on Yuya and Yuto's shoulders respectively, who in turn drape an arm around them. Rin does the same with Yugo, who blushes redder than Yuya's hair. It is a touching scene….

You're Looking For!

… the screen falls to reveal the Fusion Counterparts falling into darkness. Yuri grins wickedly as his eyes are whited out by a violet glow. Behind him is the shadow of an older boy, face obscured with a monstruous, inhuman smile on his face. Above him, Serena holds out her hand, desperately trying to reach her former friend. The gem on her bracelet shines like a star, cutting through the miasma that surrounds them. Behind her is the golden spirit of an older girl, trying to reach out to the figure behind Yuri as tears flow. The older teens vanish as the Fusion Counterparts' silhouettes turn to black and a large, sinister pair of draconic eyes open wide behind them.

I'll Challenge All My Limits

Crow, Kiryu, the Black Rose Witch, and Jack race in a line on the highway and call forth their dragons; Black-Feather, Infernity Void, Black Rose, and Red Daemon's.

Knowing This Could Be My Only Chance Now

Yuzu and Serena stand together striking Fusion and Pendulum summoning poses respectively. On the right side of the screen behind Yuzu is Bloom Diva, Bloom Lorin, and Prodigy Mozart. On the left side of the screen behind Serena was Cat Dancer, Panther Dancer and Lio Dancer.

To Overcome This Fate That's Come Over Me

On his D-Wheel, Yuya extends his arm outwards as Enlightenment Paladin begins to glow and evolves into a blue and golden warrior with a large sword. The swordsman hovers over Yuya with Odd Eyes Rebellion on it's right and Odd Eyes Wing on it's left.

The Ending Of This Story

Yuri stands in a dark tunnel with a monstrous grin with Starve Venom and Greedy Venom behind him. To his sides are Ruri and Rin with soulless eyes. Behind the girls are Independent Nightingale and Crystal Bell respectively.

I Will Hold It Close As I Wonder So Aimlessly

Yuto and Yugo closely race next to each other on the highway as Dark Rebellion and Clear Wing flew through the sky. Yuto slaps a card on his duel disk causing Dark Rebellion to be consumed by flames and evolve into Dark Rebellion Apocalypse. Yugo throws a card on his duel disk and reaches his hand out to the sky as Clear Wing shined and evolved into Crystal Wing. The two dragons fly at each other full force as and smash their heads against each other as Yuto and Yugo yell with glowing indigo and cyan eyes.

Into This New World

The scene changes to Yuya standing beneath a blue landscape. A pendulum swings above him, draw arcs of light across the sky. Yusho's face is shown over the center of the arcs, smiling down at his son with pride.

The Game Has Only Just Begun

Yuya reaches his hand out as the image of his father fades. He is shown to have a look of surprise on his face...

I Can See It In Your Eyes!

…which quickly turns into a triumphant smile!

(Instrumental)

The screen flashes to Reiji with D/D/D Hell Armageddon on his field sternly standing in front of the laughing Hell Kaiser with the roaring Cyber End Dragon. The scene changes to a worn out Serena and Yuzu kneeling in front of the soulless Rin and Ruri, with the silhouette of Parasite Fusioner behind them. The scene shifts again to Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri standing across from each other with glowing eyes and spiked up hair as their dragons roared. The four dragons crash against each other causing a bright light to engulf the screen. The song ends with a shot of the Lancers on the highway in the Synchro Dimension looking up at the screen with the three Yu-boys in the center, each sharing a look of determination.

Meanwhile, at the stadium

Team United Hope walked into the stadium and were met by lots of cheer, causing Yuya to smile.

"I've made so much progress...I can't afford to lose it all now..." Yuya said to himself.

"Look at their pit...it's just those two...the Black Rose Witch and the Death God..." Serena said, noticing the lack of their third member.

"Guys...allow me to go first." Crow said to his team.

"Why?" Serena asked.

"Well...I'm sure he will want to settle things with meas soon as he can. I don't want you two to get caught up in our feud. So please, let me to handle this once and for all." Crow explained.

"Alright. Go kick his ass, Crow!" Serena nodded.

"We believe in you, Crow."Yuya smiled.

The three shared a fist bump before Crow put his helmet on and drove off.

At the same time, Kiryu smirked as he saw Crow pulling up to the starting line. He put his helmet on and left his pit as well.

"Wow! It looks like for the first match of Team United Hope vs Team Devastation, we have a reunion match! Kiryu Kyosuke and Crow Hogan, two legendary duelists from Team Satisfaction, will be going head to head! What a dream duel!" Melissa shouted.

"Hmm..." Jack crossed his arms as he lookedat his two friends.

"So, you finally made it, Crow." Kiryu smirked as Crow pulled up.

"Did youever doubt me?" Crow asked.

"Not for a second. Our duel has been destined from the start." Kiryu said.

"Then lets get straight to the point." Crow stated in a serious duel.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." Kiryu said.

"Let's get this show on the road! Action Field On! Field Spell, Crossover Accel activate!" Melissa shouted as a sphere of cards bursted, causing them to spread all through out the track.

DUEL MODE: ON! AUTOPILOT, STAND BY!

At the same time, both duelist's duel disk blades activated and a holographic screen with a countdown starting at 3 appeared in front of the two riders.

The ex-members of Team Satisfaction raced off with neither being able to gain the lead.

"Your just as fast as I remember, Crow. But even so, you can't beat me!" Kiryu shouted as he swerved his D-Wheel into Crow.

"Huh?!" Crow gasped as his eyes widened. Crow slowed down as his D-Wheel, narrowly dodging Kiryu's D-Wheel. But in doing so, Kiryu gained the lead and exited the stadium first.

"Heheh..." Kiryu laughed.

"Kiryu has passed the gate, meaning he will take the first move! Go, Death God!" Melissa cheered.

"You never used to be like this, Kiryu! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Crow questioned.

"Cut me some slack, Crow. I'm just doing what's necessary to get on top. It's nothing personal." Kiryu smirked.

"Grr...just take your turn already!" Crow growled.

"With pleasure. My turn! From my hand, I summon Infernity Daemon!" Kiryu yelled as a fiend cloaked in blue appeared.

Infernity Daemon (1800/1200) LVL: 4

"Through this card's effect, I add a Infernity card to my hand! I set three cards facedown, turn end." Kiryu concluded.

"I don't know what happened to you...but I'll make you see what you are doing is wrong! My turn!" Crow shouted as he drew. "I summon Black Feather - Jet the Blue Sky!"

A small blue bird with a red head appeared.

"And when there is a Black Feather monster on the field, I can special summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Oroshi the Squall!" Crow shouted as a small brown bird with blue eyes brows appeared.

"Now, I tune my level 1 Oroshi the Squall to my level 1 Jet the Blue Sky! Spread your jet-black wings and slice through the gale with your concealed blade! Synchro Summon! Plunge! Assault Black Feather - Sayo the Rain-Shrouded!" Crow shouted as a small blue bird in black and purple armor appeared.

"Let's go! I activate the Equip Spell, Spinning Blade of the Trailblazer! By equipping this card to Sayo the Rain-Shrouded, it gains 800 ATK!"

"Spinning Blade of the Trail Blader's effect activates! Once per turn, you take 400 damage times the amount of my monster's Synchro materials!" Crow shouted as his monster swung it's weapon twice, creating two red energy slashed that hit Kiryu.

"And while I control a Black Feather monster, I can special summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Gale the Shift Wind!" Crow shouted as a purple and green haired bird appeared.

"Gale the Shift Wind's effect activates! Once per turn, I can target a monster on the field and it's ATK and DEF are cut in half! I target Infernity Daemon!"

Daemon (1800/1200)-(900/600)

"Battle! Sayo the Shrouded-Rain, attack Infernity Daemon!" Crow commanded.

The synchro monster flew forward and slashed through the fiend, causing a minor shockwave that shook Kiryu's D-Wheel.

KIRYU: 3200-2500 LP

"That won't be enough! Trap Activate! Infernity Reflector! When an Infernity monster is destroyed by battle, by discarding the remaining cards in my hand, I can special summon the destroyed monster to my field! Revive, Infernity Daemon!" Kiryu shouted as the monster returned.

Infernity Daemon (1800/1200) LVL: 4

"That's not all! Due to my card's effect, you take 1000 damage!" Kiryu grinned.

The fiend charged a purple ball of energy in it's hand and fired it at Crow.

"GAAAH!"

CROW: 4000-3000 LP

"And since Infernity Daemon was summoned, I can add an Infernity card from my deck to my hand!" Kiryu explained.

"Damn it...I set a card facedown, turn end." Crow angrily finished.

"Hahaha! My turn! I release my monster to Advance Summon! Come, Infernity Destroyer!" Kiryu yelled as a larger fiend with black and red armor appeared.

Infernity Destroyer (2300/1000) LVL: 6

"Now I set a card facedown. Battle! Infernity Destroyer, attack Gale the Shift Wind!" Kiryu shouted as his monster fired a red blast.

"I got you now! Trap Activate! Holly Barrier - Mirror Force! Since your monster attacked, all of your attack Position monsters are destroyed!" Crow exclaimed as the barrier reflected the blast back at the fiend, incinerating it.

"Alright!" Yuya cheered.

"Nice move, Crow...but I'm not done! Trap Activate! Infernity Retribution! When an Infernity monster is destroyed while I have no cards in my hand, in exchange for the opponent taking no battle damage for the rest of the turn, all monsters on my opponent's field are destroyed!" Kiryu shouted as a wave of dark energy destroyed Crow's monsters.

"My monsters...!" Crow gasped in shock.

"Also, you take 300 points of damage for every destroyed monster!" Kiryu shouted as the wave of dark energy hit Crow.

CROW: 3000-2400 LP

"Just like that, the Death God has gained the lead in life points! This duel sure is heating up! I can't contain my excitement!" Melissa shouted as she looked at the two legends in awe.

"He had such a counter prepared...he really does know how Crow duels." Serena commented in a worried tone.

"This isn't good..." Yuya uttered as sweat formed on his forehead.

"I end my turn with that. Now come, Crow!" Kiryu shouted as he pointed back at his ex-teammate.

"I...won't back down! My turn!" Crow shouted as he drew. "I activate the Spell Card, Treasure Card of the Black Feathers! By discarding a Black Feather monster in my hand, I draw two cards! I discard Black Feather - Etesian of Two Swords to draw two!"

"Planning something, Crow? Please entertain me with the little time you have left." Kiryu said with a grin.

"I'll show you my strength right now! I summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Blizzard the Far North!" Crow shouted as a light blue bird appeared.

"Blizzard the Far North's effect activates! When normal summoned, I can call forth a Black Feather monster form my graveyard in defense mode! Rise, Black Feather - Etesian of Two Swords!" Crow shouted as a black and red humanoid bird with blue clothing appeared.

"Now, I tune my level 2 Blizzard the Far North to my level 3 Etesian of Two Swords! Jet-black raging gale, become the tailwind that ties our bonds! Synchro Summon! Take off! Level 5! Assault Black Feather - Sohaya the Early Summer Shower!" Crow shouted as a winged warrior appeared with blue armor and a sword and flew beside Crow.

"Sohaya the Early Summer Shower's effect activates! When this card is Synchro Summoned, I can revive a Assault Black Feather monster from my graveyard! Revive, Assault Black Feather - Sayo the Rain-Shrouded!" Crow shouted as the small Synchro monster returned.

"I activate the Spell Card, Synchro Treasure! I draw a card for every Synchro monster on the field! I draw two! Since Sohaya had a Black Feather monster as it's Synchro Material, it can be treated as a tuner! Now, I tune my level 5 Sohaya the Early Summer Shower to my level 2 Sayo the Rain-Shrouded! Spread your jet-black wings and storm forth in tandem with your roaring thunder! Slash apart the lightning! Synchro Summon! Cascade! Level 7! Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower!"

A winged warrior with purple armor appeared. The warrior carried a sword along and had one wing that was black and another that was white.

"Raikiri, eh? You really aren't holding back." Kiryu said with a sly smirk.

"Damn right! Raikiri's effect activates! Once per turn, cards on your field are destroyed up to the amount of Black Feather monsters on my field! That means one of your set cards are destroyed!" Crow shouted as an energy slash cut through one of Kiryu's cards. "It's time to end this!"

"Why are you trying to rush things so much, Crow? It's been ages since we've dueled." Kiryu said.

"I hate to look at what you've become...which is why I will defeat you and bring you back to the light!" Crow yelled as he pointed at Kiryu.

"So that's your big plan? What a wasteof time. Just go on and attack me already." Kiryu told his teammate.

"You asked for it! Battle! Raikiri the Sudden Shower, attack him directly! Lightning Speed - Sky Slash!" Crow shouted as his monster flew in front of Kiryu and raised it's blade to the sky.

"Nice try, Crow! But that's not good enough! Infernity Shielder's effect in my graveyard activates! While I have no cards in my hand, I can negate a direct attack and special summon this card along with a level 4 or lower Infernity monster in my graveyard!" Kiryu yelled as a barrier appeared and blocked the attack.

"Tch..." Crow clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"Now come back, Infernity Shielder! Infernity Daemon!" Kiryu yelled as the two monsters returned to the field.

"Daemon's effect! I add an Infernity card to my hand!" Kiryu explained.

"I set a card facedown, turn end." Crow begrudgingly concluded.

"My turn! From my hand, I summon the tuner monster, Infernity Avenger!" Kiryu shouted as a fiend dressed like a cowboy appeared.

"I tune my level 1 Infernity Avenger to my level 1 Infernity Shielder and my level 4 Infernity Daemon! Demon empowered by chaos! Awaken from the depths of hell and bring forth destruction! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 6! Infernity Hell Daemon!" Kiryu shouted as a large red and black demonic creature with sharp purple bones as armor appeared on the field.

Infernity Hell Daemon (2200/1600) LVL: 6

"Infernity Daemon and Shielder are banished due to leaving the field after being summoned by Shielder's effect. Next, I activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn! Return to the field, Infernity Destroyer!"

Infernity Destroyer (2300/1000) LVL: 6

"Hell Daemon's effect activates! Once per turn, I can target a card on your field and it's effects are negated! And if I have no cards in my hand, that card is destroyed! I target Raikiri the Sudden Shower! Go, Demonic Shoot!" Kiryu exclaimed as his monster fired a red and black blast from it's hands.

"Not a chance! Trap Activate! Synchro Barrier! By releasing a Synchro monster on my field, I don't take any damage this turn!" Crow exclaimed as Raikiri bursted into particles.

"Now Crow will survive the turn!" Yuya cheered.

"I won't give up...I'll never give up! I will bring you back, Kiryu!" Crow yelled.

"Whatever. I end my turn." Kiryu concluded.

"My turn! I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two! Next, I summon Black Feather - Ghost Wings!" Crow shouted as a phantom-like bird appeared.

Black Feather - Ghost Wings (600/1300) LVL: 3

"Ghost Wing's effect! I can release this card to special summon a Black Feather monster from my graveyard that was destroyed during the previous turn! Revive, Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower!"

Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower (2600/2000) LVL:7

"Let's go, Kiryu! Raikiri the Sudden Shower's effect! Once per turn, cards on your field are destroyed up to the amount of my Black Feather monsters! Infernity Destroyer is destroyed!" Crow shouted as an energy slash sliced through the fiend.

"Go, Crow!" Yuya yelled.

"Battle! Raikiri the Sudden Shower, attack Hell Daemon! Lightning Speed - Sky Slash!" Crow commanded as his monster flew forward at incredibly high speeds and sliced through the opposing Synchro monster.

KIRYU: 2500-2100 LP

"I set two cards facedown, turn end." Crow concluded.

"You're as skilled as ever, Crow. But unfortunately for you, I'm nowhere near finished! My turn! I summon the tuner monster, Infernity Fallen Angel." Kiryu explained as a angelic monster with grey clothes and black wings appeared.

Infernity Fallen Angel (1000/1000) LVL:2

"Next, I set a card face down. Then, Fallen Angel's effect. I can revive a Infernity monster that was destroyed last turn but with it's effects negated. Revive, Hell Daemon!"

Infernity Hell Daemon (2200/1600) LVL: 6

"...Are you ready, Crow?" Kiryu asked with a devious grin.

"It's coming..." Crow gasped

"Demonic Dragon caged in the realm between heaven and hell! Break free from your eternal purgatory and spread your darkness across the land of the living! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 8! Infernity Void Dragon!" Kiryu shouted as the demonic dragon covered in sharp black armor with red and white lines running through it appeared.

Infernity Void Dragon (3000/2400) LVL: 8

"Your dragon...!" Crow uttered in a worried tone.

"So you are finally starting to get serious, Kiryu..." Jack said as he looked at the dragon.

"Infernity Void Dragon gains 200 ATK for each of my banished cards! That means my monster gains 400 ATK!" Kiryu shouted as his dragon powered up.

Void Dragon (3000/2400)-(3400/2400)

"Infernity Void Dragon's effect activates! Once per turn, since I have no card in my hand, a monster on your field is destroyed! And since it's the only monster on my field, my dragon gains ATK equal to half of the destroyed monster's ATK! Go, Purgatory Crush!" Kiryu yelled as the dragon's glowing claw drove through the Synchro monster. Then, the spirit of the Black Feather monster flew into the dragon, causing it to gain a fiery aura.

Void Dragon (3400/2400)-(4700/2400)

"That doesn't matter! I'll still crush you right now!"

"Kiryu...what the hell has gotten into you?! You weren't this violent before! Why are you being like this?!" Crow questioned.

"I'VE ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS!" Kiryu angrily shouted, surprising the Black Feather user.

"Eh?!"

"I'm not the one who changed, Crow. YOU ARE!" Kiryu shouted as he pointed back at Crow.

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Crow asked.

"It doesn't matter anymore. The only thing that matters is victory! BATTLE! Infernity Void Dragon, attack him directly! Infernity Hell Inferno!" Kiryu yelled as the dragon fired a powerful red blast of flames from it's mouth.

"I won't be defeated like this! Trap Activate! Black Back! I can special summon a Black-Feather monster with 2000 or less ATK! Come, Assault Black Feather - Sayo the Rain Shrouded!"

Crow was in his house with the three kids who were all eating. Crow chuckled to himself as he saw the smiles on their faces, reminding him of back when his old teammates and himself were all kids.

Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door.

"Who could it be at this hour?" Amanda questioned.

"I'm not sure. You kids stay here, alright?" Crow said to the kids.

He walked over to the door and opened it. His eyes widened as he saw Kiryu standing in front of him.

"K-Kiryu!" Crow gasped as he jumped forward and hugged his friend.

"Hey, Crow. It's nice to see you again." Kiryu smiled as the two separated.

"It's been years, man! Where the hell have you been?!" Crow questioned.

"Well...I kind of...went out on my own...and got arrested again..." Kiryu answered as he scratched his head.

"You gotta stop being so reckless!" Crow shouted like a protective older brother.

"Don't worry, everything worked out. I have...this new employer..." Kiryu began to explain.

"An...employer...?!" Crow said in a distasteful tone.

"Well...it's some guy that works for security...he's been paying me money...good money...to do jobs for him..." Kiryu continued.

"Jobs?!" Crow questioned in a somewhat angry tone.

"Stuff like we used to do in the old days with Jack, you know? Taking down Tops, Commons, etc. Now I'm just getting paid for it. And so can you!"

"What do you mean?!" Crow asked.

"My employer...said I could recruit you. He knows about what Jack did to us. He agreed to help us get out rightful revenge on that prick. We can finally make our way to the top without changing who we are!" Kiryu explained.

"..." Crow just stared at Kiryu and remained silent.

"So, what do you say, Crow?" Kiryu asked.

"I...don't know about this Kiryu. I left that life behind a long time ago. And this seems extremely...shady to say the least." Crow explained.

"...I get it. You really are just like Jack, you know that?" Kiryu said as he looked down.

"C'mon, Kiryu. Don't be like that! You're not the type to fight other people's battles for money!" Crow shouted.

"Haven't you learned anything! In order to get to the top, we have to do whatever it takes! We both blew our shot once and I refuse to do it again! I'll dethrone that arrogant asshole, with or without you!" Kiryu shouted back.

"I'm sorry...but I can't..." Crow said as he thought about the kids.

"Fine..." Kiryu looked down and walked away.

Crow began to reach out to him, but stopped himself. He took a deep breathe and walked back into his home.

"Kiryu...I regret not reaching out to you when I had the chanceto. But I couldn't risk endangering those kids. I care about them like they are my own! I want them to have a better future then us! But despite that, I still should and tried to-"

"Shut up! I don't want to hear it anymore!" Kiryu growled. "You chose yournew family over me...and I won't forget that! My...TURN! This is the final turn!"

"F-Final turn?!" Crow gasped.

"I summon the tuner monster, Infernity Entity!" Kiryu yelled as a shadowy fiend with a demonic aura appeared and was boosted by Kiryu's spell.

"My monster's effect activates! When this card is summon while I control Infernity Zero End, I can special summon a Void Dragon from my graveyard with it's effects negated in DEF mode! Rise, Infernity Void Dragon!"

"He's bringing out that dragon...!" Yuya gasped, remembering this move from Kiryu's previous duel.

"Kiryu...don't do this..." Crow pleaded with his friend.

"With my power as the Death God...I'LL SEND YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL! I tune my level 2 Infernity Entity to my level 8 Infernity Void Dragon!" Kiryu yelled as the tuner turned into two pitch black rings that flew around his ace. "Destructive dragon with hellish power! Shatter the boundaries of heaven and hell and spread your burning purgatory throughout all of reality! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 10! INFERNITY ETERNAL VOID DRAGON!"

A frightening demonic black dragon with sharp pitch-black and red armor appeared. The dragon's armor had purple flames running through it and had silver fangs. The dragon had red claws and had a long black tail that had a burning blade on it's tip.

Infernity Eternal Void Dragon (3400/2800) LVL: 10

"That dragon...!" Crow gasped.

"Incredible! Despite being in a pinch, Kiryu managed to bring out his almighty evolved ace monster!" Melissa shouted.

"Witness my dragon's earth-shattering power! Eternal Void Dragon's effect activates! Upon being Synchro Summoned, all monsters on my opponent's field are destroyed!" Kiryu yelled. As his dragon roared, purple flames shot out of the ground, incinerating the Synchro monster.

"Raikiri!" Crow cried.

"That's not all! While I have a Death Counter, I can inflict damage to my opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster with the highest ATK!" Kiryu shouted with a maniacal grin.

"No...this can't be..." Serena gasped.

"Kiryu..." Crow uttered.

"I won't be satisfied...UNTIL I WIPE YOU OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH! GO, INFINITE PURGATORY FLAME!" Kiryu exclaimed at the top of his lungs as his dragon blasted a powerful force of flames from it's mouth at Crow.

"CROW!" Yuya cried.

"I'm sorry...I failed you...Kiryu..." Crow uttered as he bowed his head.

"DIE, CROW!" Kiryu screamed.

"But even so...I refuse to fail you again! I won't give up on you like I did before! I activate the effect of Black Feather - Shield Wing in my hand! It's effect reduces an instance of battle or effect damage to 0 and then I can special summon it!" Crow countered as a small bird with metal wings flew in front of the blast.

"Crow survived!" Yuya cheered.

"And due to Gofu the Vague Shadow's effect, Raikiri the Sudden Shower is returned to the Extra Deck instead of the graveyard!" Crow explained.

"Tch...I'm still going to win! Due to my dragon's effect, it gains 400 ATK for each of my banished cards! There are currently 4, so my dragon gains 1600 ATK!"

Eternal Void Dragon (3400/2800)-(5000/2800)

"5-5000 ATK?!" Serena gasped.

"That's not all! While I have a Deather Counter, this card can attack twice per turn! This truly is the end for you!" Kiryu grinned.

"N-No way!" Yuya stuttered.

"BATTLE! Eternal Void Dragon, attack Black Feather - Shield Wing! ETERNAL HELL BLAZE!" Kiryu cited as his dragon fired a blast of dark flames from it's mouth, incinerating the small bird.

"Ghh...!" Crow grunted from the shockwave.

"Now all Kiryu has to do is attack again...!" Serena realized as her eyes widened in fear.

"Could this really be the end?!" Melissa questioned.

"I'm getting my satisfaction right now! YOU DIE HERE, CROW! ETERNAL VOID DRAGON, DIRECT ATTACK! ETERNAL HELL BLAZE!" Kiryu shouted like a mad-man as his dragon fired another dark blast of flames.

"CROW!" Yuya cried.

"...Black Feather - Shield Wing's effect in the graveyard activates! By banishing this card in my graveyard when I'm attacked directly, I can special summon a Black Feather Synchro monster! Come to the field, Assault Black Feather - Sayo the Rain-Shrouded!" Crow shouted as his monster returned to the field.

"Sayo the Rain-Shrouded's effect prevents it from being destroyed by battle twice per turn...so duel isn't over yet!" Crow shouted as his monster took on the attack and remained on the field.

"DAMN IT!" Kiryu growled as he slammed his fist onto his D-Wheel. "I won't rest until I get my satisfaction from ending you! Turn end!"

"Kiryu...I'm sorry...but I had a family to protect. Those kids were everything to me and I didn't want them to end up like us." Crow told his ex-teammate.

"...I thought we were family..." Kiryu uttered as he looked down, surprising Crow.

"K-Kiryu..." Crow softly said as he looked at the Death God. "Despite everything...it's still not too late to turn back from this path."

"No...Jack betrayed me and so did you. The only person that I can rely on is myself! That's why...I'll do whatever the hell I need to do to get on top, no matter who I have to crush! And after I defeat Jack, I won't turn away the throne like I did before! I'll take back the power that I rightfully deserve!" Kiryu exclaimed.

Crow looked down as a tear went down his face, surprising Kiryu. Crow them gritted his teeth as he wiped the tear off his face before looking up at Kiryu with a determined look in his eyes.

"If all you truly seek is power and revenge, then I have no choice but to stop you here and now." Crow said in a determined tone as he put his hand on his deck. "My...TURN! I activate the Spell Card, Draw of Black Feathers! While I have 1000 or less life points with five or more Black-Feather monsters in my graveyard, I draw three cards!"

"Nothing you do can stop me! I have already won and you are too stubborn to see it!" Kiryu growled.

"I will never give up hope! From my hand, I summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Breeze the Zephyr!" Crow shouted as a orange colored winged beast appeared.

"Now, I tune my level 3 Breeze the Zephyr to my level 2 Sayo the Rain-Shrouded! Jet-black raging gale, become the tailwind that ties our bonds! Synchro Summon! Take off! Level 5! Assault Black Feather - Sohaya the Early Summer Shower!" Crow shouted as another copy of his monster appeared.

"Another copy?" Kiryu curiously said.

"Sohaya the Early Summer Shower's effect activates! When this card is Synchro Summoned, I can revive a Assault Black Feather monster from my graveyard! Revive, Assault Black Feather - Sayo the Rain-Shrouded!" Crow shouted as the small Synchro monster returned.

"And due to be Synchro Summoned, Sohaya the Early Summer Shower can be treated as a tuner monster since he was Synchro summoned using a Black Feather monster! Now, I tune my level 5 Sohaya the Early Summer Shower to my level 2 Sayo the Rain-Shrouded! Spread your jet-black wings and storm forth in tandem with your roaring thunder! Slash apart the lightning! Synchro Summon! Cascade! Level 7! Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower!"

In a flash of lightning, Raikiri returned to Crow's side.

"Alright! With Raikiri on the field, Crow can destroy Kiryu's dragon!" Yuya cheered.

"Raikiri the Sudden Shower's effect activates! Your dragon is destroyed!" Crow shouted as his monster flew forward.

"With this, Crow has won!" Serena shouted.

"...Did you really think it would be that easy?! I banish Infernity Entity to negate my dragon's destruction!" Kiryu countered as his monster appeared in front of his dragon and was sliced in half by Raikiri's blade.

"What?!" Crow gasped.

"And since a card was banished, my monster gains 400 more ATK!"

Eternal Void Dragon (5000/2800)-(5400/2800)

"HAHAHA! How naive! Do you finally understand that you can't win?!" Kiryu questioned.

"...You're the one who doesn't understand the trouble you're in!" Crow shouted in a determined tone.

"What are you on about?!" Kiryu questioned.

"...I guess it's time I go all out! I activate the effect of the second copy of Sohaya the Early Summer Shower in the graveyard! By banishing another copy of this card during the turn it was sent to the graveyard, I can special summon it!" Crow shouted as his monster returned.

Assault Black Feather - Sohaya the Early Summer Shower (1500/2000) LVL:5

"What's the point in bringing out that weak monster?" Kiryu questioned.

"...I have to go all out if I want to beat you, Kiryu. I'll show you my full power right now! Raikiri the Sudden Shower can be treated as a tuner monster since he was Synchro Summoned using a Black Feather monster!" Crow explained.

"Wait...is he going to...!" Yuya's eyes widened as he realized what Crow was going to.

"Let's go! I tune my level 7 Raikiri the Sudden Shower to my level 5 Sohaya the Early Summer Shower!" Crow shouted as Raikiri turned into seven green rings that flew around Sohaya.

"A level 12 Synchro monster?!" Kiryu gasped.

"Pitch-black wings, raise your godly blade to the sky and roar with the power of lightning! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Cut them down! Level 12! Assault Black Feather - Onimaru the Divine Thunder!" Crow shouted as in a flash of bright lightning, a powerful winged warrior appeared. The new monster had one black wing and one black and orange mechanical wing. The warrior had black and orange armor and carried a large blade.

Assault Black Feather - Onimaru the Divine Thunder (3000/2000) LVL: 12

"A-Amazing! Crow has managed to bring out a level 12 Synchro monster!" Melissa yelled in awe.

"Lets go, Kiryu! BATTLE! Onimaru the Divine Thunder, strike down Infernity Eternal Void Dragon!" Crow shouted, surprising his opponent.

"What the hell?! Your monster is far weaker than my dragon!" Kiryu questioned.

"Not for long! Onimaru the Divine Thunder's effect activates! When this card attacks,it gains 1000 ATK for every Synchro Summon performed this turn!"

"W-WHAT?!" Kiryu stuttered inshock.

"Three Synchro summons were performed...SO MY MONSTER GAINS 3000 ATK!" Crow shouted at the top of his lungs. As his monster flew forward, it was entirely consumed in yellow energy that flew straight up in the air at godly speeds.

Onimaru the Divine Thunder (3000/2000)-(6000/2000)

"6-6000 ATK?!" Melissa gasped.

"It overpowers Eternal Void Dragon!" Serena cheered.

"GO, THUNDERBOLT CLAP!" Crow shoutedas his monster flew downwards while surrounded by yellow energy and slashed through the dragon, causing a powerful explosion.

"NOOO!" Kiryu screamed at the sight of his dragon exploded. The explosion consumed him, causing him to gain another Death Counter after receiving 600 damage.

"Just a little bit more...I set a card facedown, turn end." Crow concluded as his monster returned to his side.

Onimaru the Divine Thunder (6000/2000)-(3000/2000)

"...Heh...Heh...Heh..." Kiryu gasped for air as he looked back at Crow.

"Kiryu...we both know you have nothing left touse against me. Itruly don't want to hurt you anymore. So please just-"

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Kiryu growled as he regained his breath. "I...can't give up...I'm so close...to getting my revenge..."

"But-"

"I will defeat you...Crow...I have to! My turn...DRAW!" Kiryu roared as he drew his card. "I will win! From my hand, I summon Infernity Grave Digger!"

A small fiery goblin appeared on Kiryu's field.

"When this monster is summoned while I have no cards in my hand, I can add a Spell Card from my graveyard to my hand! I add Pot of Greed back to my hand and then I'll activate it! I draw two cards!"

As he looked at one of the cards he had drawn, his eyes widened. Kiryu looked at his former friend and sighed, almost as if deep down, he didn't really want to hurt him anymore.

"It's time." Roget grinned as he watched the duel from his monitor.

"...I activate the Spell Card, Infernity Back! I can special summon an Infernity monster from the graveyard with it's effects negated! Come, Infernity Void Dragon!"

Infernity Void Dragon (3000/2400) LVL: 8

Kiryu grabbed one of the cards in his hand and held it above his duel disk for a moment, almost hesitating to use the card.

"Kiryu...?" Crow questioned.

"I...activate the Spell Card...Fusion!" Kiryu shouted as he inserted the card into his duel disk, shocking everyone.

"D-Did he say Fusion?!" Yuya's eyes widened in fear.

"That means...!" Serena gasped.

"N-No...this can't be true...Kiryu..." Crow shook his head in disbelief.

"I...fuse Infernity Void Dragon and Infernity Goblin!" Kiryu shouted as his dragon and fiend began to swirl into the fusion vortex. "Fiend that resides in the darkness! Demonic Dragon caged in the realm between heaven and hell! Become one and spread chaos throughout all of reality! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth! Level 11! INFERNITY CHAOS VOID DRAGON!"

INFERNITY CHAOS VOID DRAGON (3600/3000) LVL: 11

"Another Fusion..." Reiji muttered.

"Why...WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE THAT CARD?!" Crow shouted in anger.

"I told you I would do whatever it takes to win! Now...PREPARE TO DIE!" Kiryu shouted with rage in his eyes.

"Excellent! Now, destroy him!" Roget yelled.

"Chaos Void Dragon's effect activates! Once per turn, by banishing an Infernity monster in my graveyard, this card gains the banished monster's ATK until the end of my opponent's next turn! I banish the 3400 ATK Infernity Eternal Void Dragon!"

Chaos Void Dragon (3600/3000)-(7000/3000)

"7-7000 ATK?!" Crow shouted in a horrified tone.

"HAHAHA! I will finally be satisfied! BATTLE! Infernity Chaos Void Dragon, attack Black Feather - Onimaru the Divine Thunder! BURNING CHAOS SPIRAL!" Kiryu shouted like a mad man.

His dragon roared before spreading it's wings and fly up into the air. The dragon opened it's mouth and fired a spiraling red and black blast at the Synchro monster.

"If this attack hits, Crow Hogan's life points will be obliterated! Is this duel truly over?!" Melissa questioned.

"DON'T LOSE, CROW!" Yuya cried.

"Trap Activate! Shield of Bonds! When a Synchro monster is attacked, I can pay half of my life points..."

CROW: 100-50 LP

"...to reduce the damage I would take to 0!" Crow shouted as a barrier protected him as his monster was obliterated.

"..." Kiryu looked down and Crow sighed in relief, thinking that he was safe.

"Crow survived...!" Serena said in a relieved tone.

"...I truly am sorry for what happened in the past. I should have helped you turn away from the dark path you were going down. But you have to understand that those kids were everything to me. I couldn't join you because I had to take care of them. I didn't want them to steal food like we had to. I didn't want them to sleep on the streets like we did. That's why I had to take care of them. I didn't want them to end up being like us." Crow told his old friend who continued to look down.

"...I don't blame you...you had a family to protect..." Kiryu uttered, causing Crow to smile.

"That's right! And despite everything, you're still family to me! We don't have to fight!" Crow shouted.

"If only that we're true...just because I forgive you...doesn't mean I forgivehim!" Kiryu growled as he gritted his teeth in anger.

"You mean...!"

"That bastard...Jack...he screwed us both! He took the power without a second thought and left us both in the dust! He didn't fight for the rights of the commons like he said he would! All he cared about was himself!" Kiryu shouted in anger.

"...You aren't wrong..." Crow said.

"I'm sorry Crow...but the only way I can get my revenge on him...is to defeat you..." Kiryu explained.

"You can't be serious..." Crow said in disbelief.

"And once I dethrone that traitorous bastard, I won't be just a king...I'll reign supreme as the true Death God! I won't be satisfied until I claim my rightfully place on top!" Kiryu yelled as he looked up with a menacing look in his eyes.

"K-Kiryu..." Crow uttered, feeling even more betrayed. "Even so...you already attacked this turn. You can't do anything else!"

"You really think my attack is over...THINK AGAIN!" Kiryu shouted as his dragon began to charge another attack.

"W-What the hell is going on?!" Crow demanded to know.

"Chaos Void Dragon can attack additional times up to the amount of Death Counters I have!" Kiryu shouted with a malicious grin.

"That means...!" Yuya gasped.

"...Kiryu's dragon can attack two more times!" Serena gasped.

"...No way..." Crow uttered before looking down in defeat.

"Sorry Crow...BUT I WILL GET MY REVENGE! GO, INFERNITY CHAOS VOID DRAGON! BURNING CHAOS SPIRAL!" Kiryu roared as his dragon fired another black and red blast.

"CROW!" Yuya and Serena cried.

"...Crow..." Jack muttered.

"..." Crow looked down as the blast completely consumed him.

"What the hell?!" Kiryu questioned in an enraged tone.

"...You aren't...the only one...who can escape death..." Crow muttered as with a slight smirk as he looked at the angered Death God through his cracked visor.

"How the hell did you survive that?!" Kiryu questioned.

"Shield of Bonds' effect in the graveyard...by banishing this card and paying half of my life points when I'm attacked directly...I can reduce the damage I would take to 0...and then I can revive a Synchro monster from my graveyard with it's effects negated...!" Crow explained with a smirk.

"WHAT?!" Kiryu yelled.

"...Come back to the field...Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower...!"

In a flash of lightning, Raikiri returned protectively in front of Crow.

"You bastard...GO, INFERNITY CHAOS VOID DRAGON! ATTACK HIS PATHETIC MONSTER ONCE MORE! BURNING CHAOS SPIRAL!" Kiryu roared as his dragon fired another black and red blast.

"That won't work...the monster summoned by Shield of Bonds' effect can't be destroyed by battle during the turn it's summoned...!" Crow explained as his monster used it's sword to power through the attack.

"DAMN IT!" Kiryu roared as he slammed his fist on his D-Wheel. "Why do you keep fighting, Crow?! You can't win this! THERE IS NO HOPE FOR YOU!"

"You are wrong! As long as there are people that believe in me, there is always hope! The bonds that I share with my friends and family will give me the strength to claim victory!" Crow shouted with his hand on his heart as he thought about Tanner, Amanda, Frank, Serena, and Yuya.

Crow's then clenched his hand into a fist a pointed it at Kiryu with a determined look on his face.

"I'm also fighting for you, Kiryu! I know that deep down, you still cherish your friends more then power! That's why...I'll keep fighting to bring you back!" Crow shouted, shocking the Death God.

"..." Kiryu was left speechless.

After everything he said and did, Crow still believed that he could be redeemed. Kiryu then shook his head and glared at Crow.

"Let's go! My turn...DRAW!" Crow shouted as he held his card high in the air. "This is it! I activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn! Revive, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon!"

"Crow has both of his ace monsters on his field!" Yuya yelled.

"You fool! Infernity Chaos Void Dragon is unaffected by card effects as long as I have a Death Counter! Meaning, your dragon won't be able to destroy it through it's effects? THIS IS THE END OF THE LINE!"

"You think so?" Crow smirked.

"WHAT?!" Kiryu questioned.

"From my hand, I summon the tuner monster, Black Feather - Mistral the Silver Shield!" Crow shouted as a blue bird with silver armor appeared.

Crow looked at his dragon who glanced back at him. Seeing this, Crow smirked and looked at his opponent. It was time.

"Let's go, Dark Storm! I tune my level 2 Black Feather - Mistral the Silver shield to my level 8 Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon!" Crow shouted as his tuner turned into two green rings that flew in the air.

"N-No...this can't be...!" Kiryu gasped.

Crow's dragon roared before it flew up as the sky turned dark. The two green rings flew around the dragon as it turned into light.

"Dragon born from the storm of darkness! Spread your majestic wings of Hope and become the embodiment of our bonds! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 10! Black-Feather Dark Hurricane Dragon!" Crow shouted as the sky went down. Thunder struck the ground next to Crow, revealing pitch black dragon with 8 long winds. The dragon had blue and red lines running through it's wings with silver claws. The dragon roared, causing a powerful force of wind to blow through the field.

Black-Feather Dark Hurricane Dragon (3300/2100) LVL: 10

"That's...quite a dragon..." Melissa said in awe.

"This is...Crow's true power...!" Yuya smiled.

"You evolved your dragon...but it doesn't matter! Nothing will stop me from getting my satisfaction!" Kiryu yelled in a determined tone.

"That's not true! I'm going to stop you here and now! I switch Raikiri the Sudden Shower to attack mode!"

Raikiri the Sudden Shower (2600/2000)-(2600/2000)

"BATTLE! Raikiri the Sudden Shower, attack Infernity Chaos Void Dragon!" Crow shouted as his monster flew forward.

"Eh?! What the hell is Crow Hogan doing?!" Melissa shouted in shock.

"So you wish to die! Fine by me! BURNING CHAOS SPIRAL!" Kiryu shouted as his monster fired a spiraling red and black blast. The attack obliterated the charging Raikiri and headed straight for Crow.

"CROW!" Yuya and Serena shouted in fear.

"...Show them your power, Dark Hurricane Dragon! DAMAGE ABSORPTION!" Crow shouted. His dragon roared as it flew in front of Crow. The dragon spread out it's wings and absorbed the red and black blast and powered up.

"H-How is this possible?!" Kiryu shouted in disbelief.

"Dark Hurricane Dragon's effect...when I would take battle or effect damage...that damage is reduced to 0 and my dragon gains ATK equal to the same amount!" Crow explained.

"I-Is this really the end...?" Melissa questionedin a bit of sadness. She didn't want to see Kiryu lose.

"This is the true power of the bonds I share with my family and my team!" Crow shouted with a smirk.

"...So I guess this is it for me, right?" Kiryu asked in a defeated tone.

"Kiryu..." Crow uttered. He couldn't help but feel saddened as tears built up in his eyes.

"Heh...just do it already..." Kiryu said as he looked down.

"...GRAAAAH!" Crow let out a cry of pain before glaring at his opponent with sorrowful eyes. "I'm sorry...but I have to win! BATTLE! Black-Feather Dark Hurricane Dragon, attack Infernity Chaos Void Dragon and end this duel!"

The dragon roared as the winds grew stronger. A black and red ball of energy formed in front of it's mouth as the red markings on it's wings glowed.

"DO IT! DARKNESS NOVA STREAM"

The synchro dragon fired the red and black blast at the fusion dragon and Kiryu. The blast completely enveloped Kiryu's field, causing a powerful explosion.

"KIRYU!" Crow cried as his friend was enveloped in the blast.

Infernity Zero End shattered as Kiryu gained a third Death Counter.

"One day...I will get my satisfaction...!"

"I-It's over...in a shocking turn of events...Kiryu Kyosuke has been defeated by Crow Hogan...!" Melissa commented in disbelief as the crowd remained silent for a moment. The crowd then bursted out in excitement and cheered for the Black Feather duelist.

"Crow did it..." Jack said with a slight smile.

The highway split and the extremely injured Kiryu drove off without saying a word to his former friend.

"Kiryu!" Crow shouted out to his friend. "Damn it...did I fail to reach him...?"

"Such a disappointment..." Roget uttered in an annoyed tone. Roget then grabbed a small microphone from his pocket and put it up to his mouth. "You better not fail me, Black Rose Witch, or there will be consequences..."

In the pit, the Black Rose Witch got on her D-Wheel and drove off as Kiryu exited the stadium without saying anything.

"It appears that the fierce Black Rose Witch will be Crow Hogan's next opponent! After demonstrating incredible strength in the first round by defeating an entire team on her own, will she be able to defeat Crow Hogan and his incredible dragon?!" Melissa questioned.

"It's her..." Serena's eyes widened in fear as she remembered the pain the masked women inflicted upon her during their duel.

"Serena...it's ok." Yuya reassured the girl as he put his hand on her shoulder.

"Right..." Serena said in an unsure tone.

"You're probably working for the same person that Kiryu is...right?" Crow asked in a pissed off tone as the witch approached.

"..." The women didn't respond.

"In that case...I'll get answers from you!" Crow angrily shouted.

"...You'll pay for interfering with my mission to capture Yuzu Hiragi and Serena." The witch spoke.

"Oh yeah? Bring it on!" Crow yelled.

"DUEL!"

"Crow only has 25 life points..." Serena worryingly said.

"That may be true...but his dragon can absorb any damage he takes...so he should be ok." Yuya explained.

"I hope you are right for Crow's sake." Serena said in a nervous tone.

"My turn." The witch calmly said as she drew. "I summon the tuner monster, Night Rose Knight!"

A knight in black and white armor appeared next to the women.

"Night Rose Knight's effect. I can special summon a new level 4 or lower plant-type monster to my field. Come forth, Lord Poison!" The women shouted as a monstrous plant appeared.

"I tune my level 3 Night Rose Knight to my level 4 Lord Poison! Red petals darkened by hatred! Bloom into an unstoppable force and envelop the world with your chilling flames! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Black Rose Blooming Dragon!" The Black Rose Witch cried as her ace dragon with dark red petals on it's body appeared with a powerful roar.

"Her dragon...already...!" Serena gasped in horror.

Black Rose and Dark Hurricane both menacingly growled at each other, causing tension to build.

"Your time has come! Black Rose Blooming Dragon's effect activates! When Synchro Summoned, I can target a monster on your field and it is destroyed! Then, you take 300 points of damage times it's level! I target Black-Feather Dark Hurricane Dragon! Go, Blooming Darkness Gale!" The dragon roared ferociously, causing a wing of sharp red petals to fly through the air at Crow and his dragon.

"I...won't let that happen! Dark Hurricane's other effect activates! When this card would leave the field, I can banish a level 5 or higher Synchro monster in the graveyard instead! I banish Sohaya the Early Summer Shower! Feather Survival!" Crow countered with a smirk.

"Black Rose Blooming Dragon's other effect activates! By banishing a monster in my graveyard that is either a plant-type or has Rose in it's name, I can return one special summoned monster on my opponent's field to their hand! I banish Night Rose Knight and your dragon is sent back to your Extra Deck! Rose Degrading!" The Witch shouted as multiple vines shot out of her dragon's body towards Dark Hurricane Dragon.

"My dragon's effect activates once more! By banishing Raikiri the Sudden Shower, this card won't leave the field!" Crow countered once more.

"I...set a card facedown, turn end." The witch concluded.

"Why the hell did Kiryu have a Fusion monster?! Is your team working with Academia?!" Crow questioned the women.

"..." The women remained silent.

"Tch...no answer? Fine! My turn! Battle! Dark Hurricane Dragon, attack Black Rose Blooming Dragon! DARKNESS NOVA STREAM!" Crow shouted as his monster fired a powerful red and black energy blast.

"Could this be a One Turn Kill?!" Melissa questioned.

"Trap Activate! Rose Blizzard! The attack is negated and your monster is switched to defense mode!" The witch countered.

"Damn you...turn end!" Crow concluded.

"My turn! Black Rose Blooming Dragon's effect activates! By banishing Lord Poison, your dragon is sent back to your Extra Deck! Rose Degrading!" The Witch shouted as multiple vines shot out of her dragon's body towards Dark Hurricane Dragon.

"Dark Hurricane's effect activates once more! By banishing Onimaru the Divine Thunder, this card won't leave the field! Feather Survival!" Crow countered.

"Battle! Black Rose Blooming Dragon, attack Black- Feather Dark Hurricane Dragon! Dark Petal Flare!" The Black Rose Witch shouted as her dragon fired a dark red blast at the opposing dragon.

"Tch...I'll use my dragon's effect once more! By banishing Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon, my dragon won't leave the field! Feather Survival!" Crow shouted as his monster used it's wings to block the attack.

"You no longer have any monsters left to banish. Meaning, your dragon can no longer protect itself! I set two cards facedown, turn end." The witch concluded.

"I'll ask you one more time...who the hell are you guys working for?! Is it Academia?!" Crow demanded to know.

"..." Once again, the women didn't answer her opponent.

"I activate the effect of Pink Rose Dragon's effect in my hand! By discarding it when a Black Rose monster is attacked, the attacking monster has it's effects permanently negated!" The Witch countered as a friend a storm of pink petals surrounded the dragon.

"That means Dark Hurricane Dragon's ATK will return to normal!" Melissa realized.

"Tch...my dragon's ATK is still higher! DARKNESS NOVA STREAM!" Crow roared as his dragon fired a blast of red and black energy at the opposing dragon.

"Trap Activate! Black Rose Barrier! A Black Rose monster can't be destroyed by battle this turn!"

"I failed to destroy her dragon..." Crow gritted his teeth in anger. "But still...you have no monsters left to banish in your graveyard...meaning you can't get rid of my dragon so easily! I end my turn!"

"That may be true, but my victory has already been decided. My turn!" The witch shouted as she drew.

"This can't be good..." Crow nervously said.

"I set a card facedown. Battle! Black Rose Blooming Dragon, attack Black- Feather Dark Hurricane Dragon! Dark Petal Flare!" The Black Rose Witch shouted as her dragon fired a dark red blast at the opposing dragon. "Trap Activate! Synchro Stream! When my Synchro monster attacks, it gains the ATK of another Synchro monster on the field! Meaning, Black Rose gains your dragon's ATK!"

"What?!" Crow shouted in shock.

"This can't be...!" Crow gasped in disbelief.

"Without it's effects...Crow's dragon can't reduce the damage...!" Serena realized.

"Oh no...CROW!" Yuya cried.

"Finish him!" Roget commanded.

"Go, Dark Petal Flare!" The Black Rose Witch pointed her arm upwards at her dragon, commanding it to use it's full power. The dragon fired a dark red stream of energy that shot through the dragon, causing a powerful explosion that consumed Crow.

"CROW!" Yuya and Serena shouted as they caught their weakened teammate.

"I'm...fine...now hurry up...and get out there..." Crow weakly said.

"...Right." Serena nodded as she put her helmet on and walked over to her D-Wheel.

"Serena, wait!" Yuya shouted, grabbing his teammate's hand.

"Yuya?" Serena questioned.

"I know a part of you is nervous to go up against her. Just remember, if you duel with all of your heart, everything will be ok." Yuya said, relating the advice he gave her from a few nights ago.

"Yeah...thank you, Yuya. I'm lucky to have a friend like you..." Serena smiled as she let go of the boy's hand and got on her D-Wheel and drove off.

"A friend..." Yuya uttered with a smile.

"It appears that the next duelist to take on the Black Rose Witch is the furious Fusion user, Serena! Go, Serena!" Melissa cheered, having a favoritism towards her along with Yuzu.

"We meet again..." The witch softly spoke as Serena approached.

"I...won't be afraid...I will defeat you for what you did to me and Yuzu!" Serena declared as she pointed at her opponent.

"There is nowhere to run this time and no one to rescue you this time. Nothing will stop me from destroying you!" The witch shouted.

"Bring it on!" Serena yelled.

"My turn! From my hand, I summon Moonlight Kaleido Chick!" Serena shouted as a small yellow humanoid chick appeared.

Serena yelled as her ace popped out of her Extra Deck slot. She grabbed the card and sent it to the graveyard. "Now, Kaleido Chick can be treated as Cat Dancer went used in a Fusion Summon!"

The humanoid chick glowed as it took the form of Cat Dancer.

"What a move!" Yuya cheered.

"Now, I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! I fuse Moonlight Purple Butterfly and Moonlight Kaleido Chick that is treated as Moonlight Cat Dancer! Butterfly with violet poison! The beautiful wild beast that dances under the moonlight! Spiral in the vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! Moonlight Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted as the evolved form of her ace appeared. She had purple and pink clothing and had short dark hair that covered her eyes. She also had red blades attached to her hands.

"How predictable. Trap Activate! Half Counter! When my monster is attacked, it gains ATK equal to half of the attacking monster's ATK until the end of the turn. Meaning, Black Rose gains 1400 ATK!" The women shouted as the dragon roared.

"Counterattack! Dark Petal Flare!" The witch shouted as her monster fired a dark red stream of energy that obliterated the Fusion monster.

"She already gained a lead..." Yuya said in shock.

"Damn...she predicted my move so easily..." Serena angrily said to herself. "...Turn end."

"My turn. Battle! Black Rose Blooming Dragon, attack her directly!" The witch shouted before grabbing an Action Card on the track. "Action Spell, High Dive! My monster gains 1000 ATK!"

"The Black Rose Witch is already trying to end it!" Melissa shouted.

"Now, prepare to be incinerated! Go, Dark Petal Flame!" The witch shouted as her monster fired stream of fiery energy at Serena.

"I won't be defeated by you...Moonlight Turquoise Turtle's effect activates in my hand! When my opponent declares a direct attack, I can negate the attack and special summon this card!" Serena shouted as a turquoise humanoid turtle appeared on her field and blocked the attack with a turquoise barrier.

The monster held his hand up and a turquoise barrier blocked the attack.

I fuse Moonlight Turquoise Turtle, Moonlight Purple Butterfly, and Moonlight Black Sheep! The turquoise beast trotting through the forest! Butterfly with violet poison! Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Moonlight Sabre Dancer!" Serena shouted as a lady with purple skin that had yellow and pink clothing and yellow hair appeared. She had a orange crescent moon mask on her right eye and carried two sabers.

"Moonlight Black Sheep's effect allows me to add it back to my hand after being used as Fusion material. Next, Sabre Dancer gains 200 ATK for each Beast-Warrior type monster in my graveyard and banished! I have 6 in my graveyard so that means she gains 1200 ATK!" Serena explained as he monster powered up.

Sabre Dancer (3000/2600)-(4200/2600)

"Battle! Sabre Dancer, attack Black Rose Blooming Dragon! Eclipse Slash!" Serena commanded as her monster leaped forward and raised it's sword high in the air.

"Trap Activate! Synchro Barrier! By releasing my Synchro monster, I don't take any damage this turn!" The Black Rose Witch shouted as her dragon bursted into particles, dodging Sabre Dancer's attack.

"Damn it...at least I got rid of her dragon..." Serena said to herself. "I end my turn!"

"My turn. From my hand, I summon the tuner monster, Witch of the Black Rose!" The witch shouted as a small women with purple hair and a black and purple outfit appeared that carried a wooden rod with an orb at the top.

Witch of the Black Rose (1700/1200) LVL: 4

"When this card is summoned, I can draw a card. And if it is not a monster, this card is destroyed. Draw!" The women yelled as she drew. "I drew the monster, Ivy Wall. Next I activate the Spell Card, Double Summon! I can normal summon once more. I summon Ivy Wall!"

A monster appeared that was a wall of thorny vines appeared next to her tuner.

"I tune my level 4 Witch of the Black Rose to my level 2 Ivy Wall! Hunter of splendid thorns hidden in the sacred forest, with your whip of punishment in hand, show yourself! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 6! Splendid Rose!" The Witch shouted as a blonde hair man wearing a half black and half green outfit. He had four thorny vines protruding from his back.

Splendid Rose (2200/2000) LVL: 6

"Splendid Rose's effect activates! Once per turn, by banishing a Plant-type monster such Ivy Wall and a monster on your field has it's ATK halved!" The witch shouted as vines shot out of her monster'sback and wrapped around theFusion monster.

Sabre Dancer (4200/2600)-(2100/2600)

"Tch..." Serena clicked her tongue in anger.

"Battle! Splendid Rose, attack Sabre Dancer!Hunter's Whip!" The masked women called out as the man grabbed onto one of his vines and swung it through the Fusion monster.

SERENA: 3000-2900 LP

"Splendid Rose's other effect activates! By banishing a Plant-type monster such as another copy of Evil Thorn, this card's ATK is halved until the end of the turn and this card can attack once again!"

"Splendid Rose, Direct Attack! Hunter's Whip!" The masked women commanded once more as her monster swung it's whip at Serena.

The girl braced herself and put her armin front of her face. The whip cracked against the Serena's arm, wounding the fusion user.

"Grr..." Serena grunted in pain as blood dripped from her arm. The girl looked up and glared at her opponent with an angry look in her eyes.

"Wow! I can feel the intensity from here!" Melissa commented.

"I set a card facedown, turn end." The witch concluded.

Splendid Rose (1100/2000)-(2200/2000)

"Damn...She's countering all of my moves..." Serena said to herself in a pissed tone. "I can't give up...I won't let you defeat me! My turn, draw!"

Serena looked at her card and thought about her options. She looked at her Extra Deck and then thought about what the Professor had taught her long ago.

"Serena, if you want to become the strongest duelist in Academia, you can never hold back. You must always use all of your strength to win, no matter who your opponent is. Because on the battlefield, there is no such thing as mercy."

She then thought about her previous duels. She remembered howthe Obelisk Force had prepared for her moves back in the Standard Dimension when she dueled with Shun and Tsukikage. She then thought about how Yuto was able to defeat her despite the girl using all of her most powerful cards. She then thought about how her power was nothing compared to the strength of the Black Rose Witch during their first duel. She also thought about how Andre managed to counter her straightforward style with ease.

"You really are pitiful." The witch spoke, causing Serena to look up.

"What...?" Serena quietly questioned.

"You refuse to grow and unknowingly put limitations on your dueling. How pathetic." The masked women said.

Serena's eyes widened as she heard her opponent's words.

"She's right..."

Serena thought about Yuya's constantly evolving style. She thought about how he used a variety of monsters and different strategies to win. Despite the boy not necessarily using the strongest monsters, he still found creative ways to get the edge on his opponent and adapted to every situation. She looked at her Extra Deck came to a realization.

"That's it...not holding back doesn't mean only using my most powerful monsters...it means using a variety of monsters and strategies to win...!" Serena realized.

The girl then smirked before looking at her opponent with a confident look in her eyes.

"I've figured it out. I won't stay so predictable...I will continue to evolve through my dueling! I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards! I activate the Spell Card, Fusion Substitute! I fuse Moonlight Blue Cat and Moonlight Black Sheep!" Serena shouted as the blue humanoid cat and black humanoid sheep rose into the fusion vortex.

"A new monster?!" Yuya shouted in a surprised tone.

"Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 5! Furious beast dancing across the moonlit desert! Moonlight Caracal Dancer!" Serena shouted. A women with reddish tan skin and braided brown hair appeared on the field with long pointed ears similar to a caracal and a crescent moon mask over her right eye. The women had a Arabian dress with orange highlights and gold moon accessories. The women held throwing axes with crescent blades in each of her hands.

"Due to Black Sheep's effect, I add it back to my hand." Serena explained.

"...She's never summoned that monster before..." Reira uttered.

"It appears that she is reshaping her dueling." Reiji commented.

"I will no longer hold myself back! Battle! Caracal Dancer, attack Splendid Rose!" Serena commanded as her monster leaped forward. "At this moment, Sabre Dancer's effect activates in my graveyard! By banishing this card, Caracal Dancer gains 3000 ATK!"

As her monster leaped high in the air, she was surrounded by a golden aura.

"4900?!" Melissa shouted in a surprised tone.

"Trap Activate! Rose Poison! When a Rose Synchro monster is attacked, I can target a Rose monster in my graveyard and the attacking monster loses ATK equal to the target's ATK until the end of the turn! I target the 2400 ATK Black Rose Blooming Dragon!" The masked women countered.

Caracal Dancer (4900/1400)-(2500/1400)

"Even so, my monster's ATK is still higher! Go, Desert Slash!" Serena yelled as her monster descended and slashed through the Synchro monster with it's axes, causing a shockwave that shook the witch's D-Wheel.

BLACK ROSE WITCH: 3100-2800 LP

"Caracal Dancer's effect activates! When a Moonlight Fusion monster destroys a monster by battle, I gain life points equal to the destroyed monster's ATK! Meaning, I gain 2200 life points!" Serena explained as she was enveloped in a green aura.

"A-Amazing! Serena managed to regain all of her life points! What an incredible move!" Melissa shouted.

"This duel has just begun! I set a card facedown, turn end! At this moment, Caracal Dancer's ATK returns to normal." Serena concluded.

"Hmph. My turn! I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards." The masked witch said as she drew. "When Rose Fairy is added to my hand through a card effect, I can special summon it!"

A pink fairy with flower-shaped wings appeared.

"I release Rose Fairy to Advance Summon! Come, Rose Tentacles!" The woman shouted as her fairy dispersed and a squid-like rose with tentacle vines appeared.

"Next, I activate the Continuous Spell, Ivy Shackle! During my turn, all monsters on your field are treated as Plant-type monsters. And due to Rose Tentacle's effect, this card can make an additional attack for every Plant-type monster on my opponent's field at the start of the Battle Phase!"

"That's two attacks!" Yuya realized.

"Battle! Rose Tentacles, attack Moonlight Caracal Dancer! Thorn Whip!" The witch commanded as a throng vine from her monster's body shot forward.

"Trap Activate! Moonlight Barrier! Moonlight monsters on my field cannot be destroyed during this turn!" Serena shouted as the vine cracked against a barrier that protected Caracal Dancer.

"But you still take the damage!" The witch shouted as shockwave shook Serena's D-Wheel.

"Ghh..." Serena grunted.

I target Caracal Dancer and draw two! Next, I activate the Spell Card, Fusion Sage! This card allows me to add a Fusion Spell from my deck to my hand!" Serena explained.

"Another Fusion?!" Melissa shouted.

"Now, I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! I fuse Moonlight Caracal Dancer, Moonlight Amethyst Bat, and Moonlight Black Sheep! Furious beast dancing across the moonlit desert! Beast that flies through the midnight sky! Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 6! Swift huntress dashing across the moonlit fields! Moonlight Cheetah Dancer!" Serena shouted as a yellow skinned women with black spots on her body appeared. The women wore a blue and amethyst colored titi dress. She had a blue crescent moon mask on her right eye and and wielded two sickles as weapons.

And now, I'll summon Moonlight Black Sheep from my hand!" Serena shouted as her humanoid sheep in black clothing appeared.

"Amazing!" Melissa shouted.

"Go, Cheetah Dancer! Attack her directly! Waning Hunter's Dance!" Serena shouted. Her monster used her incredibly strong legs to elegantly speed past the witch's monster as she connected her sickles to form a doubled edged weapon.

"Trap Activate! Ground Capture!" The witch shouted as a gigantic brown hand shot out of the ground in front of her. "Due to this card's effect, the damage I would take from a direct attack is halved!"

Cheetah Dancer gracefully spun her blade before slashing through the hand that was protecting the witch.

BLACK ROSE WITCH: 2800-1750 LP

"And since I took more then 1000 damage, I can draw a card through Ground Capture's effect!" The witch shouted as she drew.

"Cheetah Dancer's effect activates! After the Battle Phase, this card inflicts 500 damage to the opponent for every Moonlight monster that attacked this turn! Go, Swift Strike!" Serena commanded as her monster separated her weapon and threw one of her sickles at the Witch, striking her in the back.

"Amazing...Serena..." Yuya uttered.

"I set two cards facedown, turn end!" Serena concluded.

"My turn! From my hand, I summon Phoenixian Seed!" The Witch said as a small red and yellow plant appeared.

"Now, I activate the Spell Card, Garden Draw! Since I control two Plant-type monsters, I draw two cards! Then, by sending Phoenixian Seed to my graveyard, I can summon Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis!" The Witch yelled as a red, orange, and yellow plant that was shaped like a phoenix appeared.

"And due to Ivy Shackle's effect, your monster is treated as a Plant-type monster. Meaning, Rose Tentacles can attack twice this turn!"

"She's trying to settle the duel right now..." Crow said in a worried tone.

"This isn't good..." Serena uttered as she looked at the two menacing plant monsters.

"Battle! Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis, attack Moonlight Cheetah Dancer! Flame Petal!" The witch shouted as her monster fired a barrage of fiery bullets.

"I banish Moonlight Barrier and Cheetah Dancer's destruction is negated!" Serena shouted as her monster withstood the attack.

"Amaryllis' effect activates! After attacking, this card is destroyed! And due to Amaryllis' other effect, when this card is destroyed, you take 800 points of damage! Scatter Flame!" The witch shouted as her plant exploded into flames that scorched the front of Serena's D-Wheel.

"Go, Rose Tentacle! Attack Moonlight Cheetah Dancer! Thorn Whip!" The masked woman shouted as a vine from her monster's body shot forward and stabbed through the Fusion monster.

"Tch...Trap Activate! Moonlight Dance of the Fallen! When a Moonlight Fusion monster is destroyed, I can draw a card for each of it's Fusion Materials! I draw three cards!" Serena shouted as she drew.

"My monster can still attack twice! Rose Tentacle, attack directly! Thorn Whip!"

"I activate the effect of Moonlight Dance of the Fallen in the graveyard! By banishing it when I would receive a direct attack, I can draw a card! And if that card is a Moonlight monster, the damage is halved!" Serena shouted as she placed her hand on her deck. She then closed her eyes and drew the card before looking at it. "The card was Moonlight Emerald Bird! Meaning, the damage is halved!"

A light barrier appeared in front of her and the vine cracked against it, causing a powerful shockwave to shake her D-Wheel.

Then, I can draw a card!" Serena shouted as she drew and smirked as she held the card in the air. "I will win this duel right now! I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! I fuse Moonlight Black Sheep on my field and Moonlight White Rabbit in my hand!"

"Go, Serena!" Yuya cheered.

"Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! White rabbit illuminated by the moonlight! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come to me! Level 7! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Moonlight Cat Dancer!" Serena chanted as her ace monster appeared that had pink hair and two different masks covering her eyes. She carried two long daggers and was wearing light blue clothing.

Moonlight Cat Dancer (2400/2000) LVL:7

"Black Sheep's effect allows me to add it back to my hand once more. Lets go, Cat Dancer!" Serena told her ace monster who looked down and nodded at the girl. "Cat Dancer's effect activates! By releasing Moonlight Emerald Bird, this card can attack all monsters you control twice! Battle! Moonlight Cat Dancer, attack Rose Tentacles! And due to Cat Dancer's effect, your monster isn't destroyed the first time this card attacks!"

The woman threw one of her daggers at the plant that sliced off one of it's tentacles.

BLACK ROSE WITCH: 1250-1050 LP

"Heh..."Serena smirked as she looked up at her opponent. "I got you! Moonlight Caracal's effect activates in the graveyard! By banishing this card when a Moonlight monster attacks a monster but isn't destroyed, that monster's ATK and DEF is reducedto 0! Also, it's effects are negated!" Serena shouted as the spirit of her monster appeared behind the witch's monster. The spirit wrapped her arms around the plantand restrained it.

Rose Tentacles (2200/1200)-(0/0)

"Using Cat Dancer's effect to trigger Caracal Dancer's effect...what an incredible move...!" Yuya said in awe.

"Serena can finish her off...!" Crow realized.

"Second Attack! Full Moon Cresta!" Serena shouted as her monster waved her arms in a circular motion before firing a cyan colored blast at the plant.

The Witch just simply stared at the blast as it obliterated the plant, causing a powerful explosion that consumed her.

"She did it...!" Yuya smiled.

"Is it...over...?" Melissa questioned in shock.

"...That won't be enough. Devour Plant's effect activates in my hand! When I would take damage from a battle involving a Plant-type monster, I can discard this card to gain life points equal to the damage I would take instead!" The witch explained as a venus flytrap appeared that had seemingly absorbed the explosion in it's mouth.

"Damn it..." Serena cursed. She looked at Serena's remaining monster and shook her head, not wanting to attack and receive 800 points of effect damage when the monster is destroyed. "I...set two cards facedown, turn end."

"This duel is over...My turn! I activate the Spell Card, Advance Draw! By releasing a level 8 or higher monster, I draw two cards! I release Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis! From my hand, I summon Revival Rose!" Serena shouted as a plant with three rose buds appeared.

"And while I control a Rose monster, I can special summon the tuner monster, Rose Supporter!" The Witch shouted as a girl in a red and white dress appeared.

"Prepare yourself. I activate the Spell Card, Shinning Rebirth! This card allows me to Synchro Summon a Synchro monster that's in my graveyard!" The masked witched yelled.

"That means...!" Serena gasped.

"I tune my level 3 Rose Supporter to my level 4 Revival Rose! Red petals darkened by hatred! Bloom into an unstoppable force and envelop the world with your chilling flames! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Black Rose Blooming Dragon!" The Black Rose Witch cried as her ace dragon with dark red petals on it's body appeared with a powerful roar.

Black Rose Blooming Dragon (2400/1800) LVL: 7

Black Rose roared at the sight of Serena's ace monster while Cat Dancer protectively stood in front of her master.

"Both duelist's aces are out on the field! I can feel the tension from up here!" Melissa shouted.

"Rose Supporter's effect allows me to draw a card after being used as Synchro material. It's over! Black Rose Blooming Dragon's effect activates! When Synchro Summoned, I can target a monster on your field and it is destroyed! Then, you take 300 points of damage times it's level! I target Moonlight Cat Dancer! Go, Blooming Darkness Gale!" The dragon roared ferociously, causing a wing of sharp red petals to fly through the air at Serena and her monster.

"That's 2100 damage!" Crow shouted in concern.

"I won't lose here! Moonlight Amethyst Bat's effect in my graveyard activates! When a Moonlight monster would be destroyed by a card effect, I can banish this card instead and then I can draw a card!" Serena shouted as she drew while the spirit of her monster protected her ace.

"It's not over! Black Rose Blooming Dragon's other effect activates! By banishing a monster in my graveyard that is either a plant-type or has Rose in it's name, I can return one special summoned monster on my opponent's field to their hand! I banish Rose Tentacles and Cat Dancer is sent back to your Extra Deck! Rose Degrading!" The Witch shouted as multiple vines shot out of her dragon's body towards the Fusion monster.

The vines wrapped around Cat Dancer, causing her to burst into particles.

"Cat Dancer..." Serena uttered in sadness.

"You're finished. BATTLE! Black Rose Blooming Dragon, attack her directly! Dark Petal Flare!" The witch shouted as her monster fired a dark red stream directly at Serena.

"Serena!" Yuya cried.

"Quick Play Spell, Moonlight Leap activate! This card allows me to special summon a level 4 or lower Moonlight monster from my hand! Come out, Moonlight Black Sheep!"

The black humanoid sheep was consumed by dragon's attack, causing a powerful explosion that shook Serena's D-Wheel.

"You barely survived that. You won't be so lucky next time. I set a card facedown, turn end." The witch concluded.

"I need to end this soon..." Serena said to herself in an exhausted tone. The power of the witch and the increased damage were really pushing the girl to her limits. "I...will win this duel right now! My turn, draw!"

As the girl determinedly drew her card, she smirked and looked up at her opponent with a confident look on her face.

"This is it! I activate the Spell Card, Moonlight Perfume! I can special summon a Moonlight Monster in my graveyard! Come back, Moonlight Emerald Bird!"

"Brown Bear's effect! When this card is summoned, I can add a Fusion Spell from my deck or graveyard to my hand!" Serena shouted as a card popped out of her graveyard slot. "Now, I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! I fuse Moonlight Emerald Bird, Moonlight Black Sheep, and Moonlight Brown Bear!"

The three monsters rose up and swirled into the Fusion vortex.

"Emerald wings that shine in the moonlight! Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! Hungry beast that hunts in the night! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Sleek predator stalking the moonlit savannah! Moonlight Leopard Dancer!" Serena shouted a tan-skinned woman with dark spots on it's body appeared. The woman wore a red crescent moon mask over her right eye and wore a short red and cyan dress. She also carried a golden spear with silver blade.

Moonlight Leopard Dancer (2400/1800) LVL: 7

"Another new monster has arrived!" Melissa commented.

"Leopard Dancer's effect activates! Once per turn, I can return up to three banished Moonlight monsters to my graveyard. And for every monster returned, a card on your field is destroyed!" Serena shouted with a smirk.

"Amazing!" Yuya shouted.

"This is our victory! I return Moonlight Sabre Dancer, Moonlight Caracal Dancer, and Moonlight Amethyst Bat to my graveyard to destroy Black Rose Blooming Dragon, your Continuous Spell, and your set card! Moonlit Wave!" Serena shouted as her monster swung her spear through the air, causing a glimmering cyan colored wave of energy to speed towards the witch's field.

"This is...THE END FOR YOU! Trap Activate! Assault Mode Activate!" The Black Rose Witch shouted as her dragon was enveloped in a bright red light.

"Not that card..." Serena grunted.

"I release Black Rose Blooming Dragon to summon it's Assault Mode form from my deck! Dark petals empowered by rage! Evolve through the eclipsing light and burn the world with your chilling flames! Come forth! Level 9! Black Rose Blooming Dragon/Assault Mode!" The Black Rose Witch shouted as an evolved version of her ace appeared that had black armor in front of it's dark red petals.

"The Black Rose Witch's Assault Mode monster is here!" Melissa shouted as the crowd cheered.

"When Black Rose Blooming Dragon is summoned to the field, a monster in your field is destroyed and you take damage equal to it's ATK! Meaning, Leopard Dancer is destroyed and you take 2400 damage! RAZOR DARKNESS GALE!" The Black Rose Witch shouted as the dragon roared loudly. The winds increased even more and sharp dark red petals flew through the air at the Fusion.

"END HER!" Roget yelled.

"That won't work. Since Amethyst Bat was returned to the graveyard, it's effect can be used once more! When a Moonlight monster would be destroyed by a card effect, I can banish this card instead and then I can draw a card!" Serena shouted as she drew while the spirit of her monster protected her monster.

"How clever..." The witch softly commented.

"Amethyst Bat wasn't the only monster returned to the graveyard! BATTLE! Leopard Dancer, attack Black Rose Blooming Dragon/Assault Mode! At this moment, Sabre Dancer's effect activates in my graveyard! By banishing this card, Leopard Dancer gains 3000 ATK!"

"Action Spell, Evasion! The attack is negated-"

"That won't work! Leopard Dancer's effect activates! Once per turn, during the Battle Phase, this card can negate and destroy a Spell or Trap activated by the opponent!" Serena shouted with a smirk. "Go, Lunar Strahl!"

Leopard Dancer pointed her spear high in the air and a beam of energy shot down from the night sky, destroying the Action Card.

"Tch...White Rose Dragon's effect activates! By discarding this card in my hand, any damage from battles involving Rose monsters are reduced to 0 during this turn! And due to Assault Mode Activate's effect, the special summoned monster can't be destroyed by battle and is unaffected by card effects for the rest of the turn!" The witch shouted as a smaller white version of her ace shielded her from the shockwave.

"Shit...I set a card facedown, turn end." Serena concluded. "At this moment, Sabre Dancer's effect ends."

Leopard Dancer (5400/1800)-(2400/1800)

"The end is near. My turn! Black Rose Blooming Dragon/Assault Mode's effect activates! Once per turn, by banishing a Plant-type monster such as Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis, I can return a special summoned monster on your field to your hand! Then, this card gains ATK equal to that monster's level times 300 until the end of the turn. Leopard Dancer is returned to the Extra Deck and my dragon gains 2100 ATK! Rose Drain!" The witch shouted asblack vines from her dragon's body shot out and wrapped around the Fusion, draining away it's life.

"No way..." Serena gasped in disbelief.

"You're finished. BATTLE! Black Rose, attack her directly-"

"Continuous Trap, Call of the Living Dead activate! Revive, Moonlight Panther Dancer!"

Moonlight Panther Dancer (2800/2000) LVL: 8

"That doesn't change the outcome of this duel! Go, Black Rose! Attack Moonlight Panther Dancer! Dark Assault Flare!" The witch commanded as her dragon fired an extremely powerful stream of dark red energy at Serena's monster.

"I'll never give up! Continuous Trap, Moonlight Crescent Shield! By equipping this card to Panther Dancer, she can't be destroyed by battle once per turn!" Serena shouted as a crescent shaped energy shield appeared on her monster's arm.

"But you still take the damage." The witch coldly said.

"I activate the effect Moonlight Turquoise Turtle in my graveyard! By banishing this card when a Moonlight monster is attacked, the damage is reduced to 0!" Serena shouted as her monster blocked the attack while a turquoise barrier protected her from taking damage.

"Using a combination of cards, Serena survives the turn!" Melissa shouted.

"It's taking everything she has to survive..." Yuya said in a worried tone.

"I end my turn." The witch concluded.

Black Rose (5000/2300)-(2900/2300)

"Heh..." Serena looked up at her opponent with a smirk on her face. "My turn! Battle! Panther Dancer, attack her dragon!"

"What?! But Panther Dancer is weaker?!" Melissa shouted in confusion.

"Counter attack! Dark Assault Flare!"The witch shouted.

"Due to Moonlight Crescent Shield's effect, Panther Dancer won't be destroyed!"

"Moonlight Caracal Dancer's effect activates!Since Panther Dancer failed to destroy your monster, I can banish it to reduce your monster's ATK and DEF to 0!"

"What...?!" The witch uttered.

"That's right...Moonlight Caracal Dancer was returned to the graveyard due to Moonlight Leopard Dancer's effect! What an incredible set up!" Melissa shouted.

"That's not all! Panther Dancer can attack all monsters you control twice! Go, Second Attack! Full Moon Burst!" Serena shouted as her evolved ace leaped high in the air and threw a dark sphere of energy at the dragon. The attack collided with the dragon, causing a powerful explosion that violently shook the witch's D-Wheel.

"Amazing, Serena!" Yuya cheered.

"Go, Panther Dancer! Destroy her dragon!" Serena shouted as her monster leaped forward and slashed through the dragon twice.

"Serena had the mighty Black Rose Witch on the ropes! What an incredible duel!" Melissa shouted as the crowd roared.

"Just a little more...I set a card facedown, turn end." Serena concluded.

"Black Rose Blooming Dragon's effect...by banishing Rose Supporter, I can special summon it from the graveyard! Revive, Black Rose Blooming Dragon!"

"Grr..." Roget grunted as he looked at the witch fromhis screen. "What the hell is she doing...there's no way she should be losing..."

Roget grabbed the microphone and held it up to his mouth with a pissed off look on his face.

"Do you not realize how important is it for you to defeat her?! In that case...I'll make you realize it!" Roget shouted as he looked at the scientists. "Do it."

Sparks of electricity from the mask began to shock the woman, causing her hair to fall down in front of her mask. The witch looked down as she gained a dark aura and her dragon violently growled at Serena.

"This isn't good..." Serena uttered in a worried tone. But the spark of electricity from the mask didn't go unnoticed by her.

"It's just like when she dueled Shinji!" Crow realized.

"My...TURN!" The witch shouted as she powerfully drew. "Black Rose Blooming Dragon's effect! By banishing Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis, your monster is returned to the Extra Deck! Rose Degrading!"

"Moonlight Creacent Shield's other effect! When the equipped monster would leave the field due to a card effect, I can send this card to the graveyard instead!" Serena countered as the vines wrapped around the shield, causing it to dissolve.

"...From my hand, I summon the tuner monster, Rose Girl!" The with shouted as a female humanoid rose appeared.

Rose Girl (800/600) LVL: 3

"...Prepare to witness...my power...!" The witch uttered as violent winds blew through the field.

"What is this...?!" Serena questioned in a worried tone.

"With my power...I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING! I tune my level 3 Rose Girl to my level 7 Black Rose Blooming Dragon! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 10! Crimson Rose Blazing Dragon!" The Black Rose Witch cried out as in a burst of flames, her evolved ace appeared. The dragon had black skin and it's body was made up of burning crimson roses. The dragon also had four fiery wings that extended outwards.

Crimson Rose Blazing Dragon (3200/2600) LVL: 10

"I-Incredible! The Black Rose Witch has brought out a terrifying evolved form of her ace! What incredible power!" Melissa shouted in a mix of fear and awe.

"This can't be good..." Serena uttered in a nervous tone.

"Crimson Rose Blazing Dragon's effect activates! When this card is Synchro Summoned...ALL MONSTERS ON THE FIELD HAVE THEIR EFFECTS NEGATED AND ARE DESTROYED!" The witch angrily shouted.

"Without it's effects...Panther Dancer can be destroyed by card effects now..." Serena fearfully realized.

"BURNING ROSE FURY!" The witch yelled as her dragon roared. The dragon before exploding into a burst of flames, completely consuming the field in a wave of fire, incinerating Panther Dancer.

"Grr!" Serena grunted from the fire as she braced herself, causing her arms to be burned.

"Serena!" Yuya cried.

"Even so...you sacrificed your monster which leaves you defenseless...and on my next turn...I'll-"

"YOU WON'T GET A NEXT TURN!" The witch roared.

"What?!"

"Crimson Rose's effect continues! When this card is destroyed by it's own effect, I can special summon it! Reignite, Crimson Rose Blaze Dragon!" The witch yelled as in a whirlwind of fire, her evolved ace returned.

Crimson Rose Blazing Dragon (3200/2600) LVL: 10

"It...returned...?!" Serena uttered in disbelief.

"And after being revived, you take damage equal to half of the combined ATK's of the monsters that were destroyed through this card's effect!" The witch yelled as the dragon's fiery wings began to glow.

"Half of Crimson Rose's ATK was 1600...and half of Panther Dancer's ATK was 1400..." Crow uttered.

"So that's 3000 damage...!" Yuya gasped.

"..." Serena's eyes widened as she watched the dragon charge it's attack.

"Do it Crimson Rose...BURN THIS WORLD TO ASHES! ROSE INCINERATION!" The witch shouted at the top of her lungs. The dragon flapped it's wings as fiery rose petals flew towards the Fusion user.

"...Trap Activate! Moonlight Guardian! By targeting a Moonlight monster in my graveyard that was destroyed during this turn, battle or effect damage that I would take is reduced by the ATK of the targeted monster! I target the 2800 ATK Panther Dancer!" Serena shouted as the spirit of Panther Dancer appeared in front of her, protecting her from the fiery petals.

"It's not over...BATTLE! Crimson Rose, attack her directly! FURIOUS PETAL FLARE!" The witch yelled. The dragon fiery a powerful blast of crimson flames at Serena which was intercepted by the spirit of her monster.

"Serena managed to defend against the Witch's onslaught of damage! How incredible!" Melissa praised.

"...Turn end." The witch concluded in a pissed off tone.

"With both duelists within 50 life points of each other, this duel has proven to be an insanely close match! But Serena looks like she is in a desperate situation! Will she be able to somehow overcome the Black Rose Witch's power?!" Melissa questioned as the crowd roared.

"Your really are terrifyingly strong...but there's something else about you..." Serena said, surprising the witch.

"..." The witch didn't respond but Serena could tell her words got her attention.

"I was wrong about you. In your previous duels...you didn't hold back in the beginning because you were toying with your opponent...you were holding back because you didn't truly want to hurt people." Serena explained.

Hearing her words, the masked woman looked down as her dark aura began to fade.

"You are scared of what you are capable of. You are afraid to be consumed by your own power. Believe me, I've seen the destructive path of someone who succumbed to their power..." Serena said as she closed her eyes.

As she opened them, she saw her purple and pink haired friend mercilessly used his dragon to defeat a group of Academia students...with a smile on his face.

She shook her head as she snapped back to reality and saw the witch's dark aura dissipate.

"You shouldn't be forced to hurt people! You don't have to be used as someone else's weapon! And you certainly don't have to hide behind that mask!" Serena shouted at the witch.

"...I-I..." The witch stuttered as she held her shaking hand up to her mask.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, WITCH?!" Roget shouted into the microphone, causing the witch to tense up. "DID YOU FORGET WHO TOOK YOU IN?! I SAVED YOU FROM A LIFE IN A CELL! IS THIS HOW YOU REPAY ME?!"

The witch lowered or hand in defeat before looking up at her opponent.

"...I...have to...DESTROY YOU!" The witch shouted as she gained a dark aura once more.

"Damn..." Serena grunted as her fist tightened. "No! I refuse to give up yet! My...TURN!" Serena shouted as she drew. "Alright! I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two! Now, I activate the Spell Card, Full Moon Fusion! While my opponent controls a monster special summoned from the extra deck while I control no monsters, I can Fusion Summon by banishing Moonlight monsters on my field, in my hand, or graveyard! I banish Moonlight Panther Dancer, White Rabbit, and Black Sheep in my graveyard!"

Serena's three monsters rose up into the fusion vortex and began to swirl together.

"Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness!Beast lurking in jet-black darkness! White rabbit illuminated by the moonlight! Swarm in a vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new power! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth! Level 10! The king of beasts dancing atop the summit of the moonlight wilderness! Moonlight Lio Dancer!" Serena shouted as her most powerful monster appeared. She had dark blue skin and had light blue hair. The Fusion Monster had red and golden clothing and carried a large sword that had a golden handle.

Moonlight Lio Dancer (3500/3000) LVL: 10

"Serena can win this!" Yuya cheered.

"This is my power! Let's go, Lio Dancer! BATTLE! Lio Dancer, attack Crimson Rose Blazing Dragon!" Serena commanded as her boss monster leaped upwards. The Fusion's sword gained a golden glow as the monster descended towards the dragon. The witch then grabbed an Action Card off of the track.

"Action Spell, Selection of Miracle! I choose to negate my dragon's destruction by battle!" The witch countered.

"But you still take the damage! Go, LUNAR SWORD SLASH!" Serena yelled as her monster used it's golden blade to slash the dragon's body.

BLACK ROSE WITCH: 650-350 LP

"It's not over yet! Lio Dancer's effect activates! After this card's first attack, all monsters on my opponent's field are destroyed!" Serena exclaimed as her monster swung her sword, sending an energy slash at the dragon, destroying it.

"Lio Dancer can attack twice and the Black Rose Witch doesn't control any other monsters! Serena can win!" Yuya cheered.

"This duel is over-"

"I WON'T LOSE! Crimson Rose's effect activates! When this card is destroyed by a card effect, I can revive a Rose Synchro monster from my graveyard! Return, Black Rose Blooming Dragon!"

Black Rose Blooming Dragon (2400/1800) LVL:7

"No way!" Crow shouted in shock.

"Tch...go, Lio Dancer! LUNAR SWORD SLASH!" Serena commanded as her monster sliced through the dragon.

"At this moment, I activate the effect of Revival Rose in my graveyard! When a monster on my field is destroyed, I can summon it from my graveyard!" The witch shouted as her monster appeared.

Revival Rose (1300/1300) LVL: 4

"Tch...I set two cards facedown, turn end!" Serena concluded.

"During the end phase, by banishing Rose Girl, Ican revive Black Rose Blooming Dragon!"

Black Rose Blooming Dragon (2400/1800) LVL:7

"Damn it...I didn't expect her to be put in such a corner..." Roget grunted.

"I...can't lose...to you..." The witch uttered as she placed her hand on her deck. "My turn...DRAW!"

The masked woman stared at the card that she had drawn, causing Serena to worry.

'That expression...it's just like Kiryubefore he used that card...could it be...?!' Serena thought.

"...I...I..." The witch uttered as her hand shook.

"What the hell is going on with her?!" Roget growled as his fist tightened in anger. "That's it! Increase the voltage to the maximum level!"

"B-But sir! She's never experienced that much! It could kill her! Or she could lose control and cause mass destruction!" One of the scientists warned.

"I don't care! Execute the order, NOW!" Roget shouted.

"R-Right away, sir!" The scientist nervously said as he followed his order.

"GRAAAAAHH!" The witch cried out in pain as she was electrocuted.

"What the hell?!" Serena shouted in shock.

"Heh...Heh...Heh..." As the witch breathed, her hair completely dropped over her mask as she gained an even more powerful dark aura. "I...WILL DESTROY YOU! PREPARE TO WITNESS THE DARK POWER OF THE BLACK ROSE WITCH! I ACTIVATE THE SPELL CARD, FUSION!"

The witch angrily slammed the card onto her duel disk, causing Serena to gasp in shock.

"Fusion...!" Serena uttered in a worried tone.

"Oh no!" Yuya shouted.

"I fuse Black Rose Blooming Dragon with Revival Rose!" The witch shouted as her two monsters began to swirl into the fusion vortex. "Rose that blooms after death! Merge with the petals darkened by hatred and become the most powerful force of death and destruction! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth! Level 11! DARKNESS ROSE DEATH DRAGON!"

As the witch painfully shouted, a storm of black petals enveloped the field as the sky darkened.

Serena looked up as she saw the figure of a dragon similar to Black Rose appear into the view. But as the storm dissipated, Serena's eyes widened in horror as she looked at the dragon.

The dragon was somewhat larger then Black Rose in size. Instead of the red color, the dragon's body was completely made up of pitch-black rose petals. The dragon had multiple vines with black thorns protruding from it's body along and had two large black wings. It also had demonic red eyes that stared directly into Serena's soul, causing her to nervously gulp. The dragon let out a powerful roar, causing Serena's D-Wheel to wobble.

Darkness Rose Death Dragon (3400/2800) LVL: 11

"That new fusion dragon...is horrifying...!" Melissa said while being completely at a lost for words.

"...Serena...!" Yuya uttered in a terrified tone.

"Your dragon...it's in pain..." Serena uttered as she looked up at the fusion monster who continued to roar. It seemed like the witch's pain was tied to her dragon's pain, causing it to act out. It must have something to do with her strange power.

"Darkness Rose Death Dragon's effect activates! When this card is Synchro Summoned...ALL OTHER MONSTERS ON YOUR FIELD AND IN YOUR GRAVEYARD ARE BANISHED!" The witch painfully screamed.

"L-Lio Dancer is unaffected by card effects!" Serena shouted.

"But the monsters in your graveyard are not protected! Go... DEATH STORM!" The masked woman roared. The spirits of Serena's fallen monsters appeared in front of her and were all wiped out by a powerful storm of black energy that came from the dragon.

"My monsters...!" Serena gasped.

"It's not over! Darkness Rose gains 300 ATK for every monster banished until the end of the turn! 7 monsters were banished...SO DARKNESS ROSE GAINS 2100 ATK!" The witch shouted as her dragon gained a powerful dark aura.

Darkness Rose (3400/2800)-(5500/2800)

"5-5500 ATK...that far exceeds Lio Dancer's 3500 ATK..." Crow realized.

"This duel...IS OVER! BATTLE! DARKNESS ROSE DEATH DRAGON, ATTACK MOONLIGHT LIO DANCER AND END THIS DUEL!" The witch angrily shouted. The dragon opened it's mouth and began to charge an attack made of purple and black energy.

"Don't do this! You don't have to be used as a weapon!" Serena tried pleading with the witch.

"Do it, Darkness Rose...DARK ABYSS FLARE!" The witch painfully screamed as the dragon fired the destructive blast of flames at Serena's monster.

"Will this be the deciding attack?!" Melissa questioned.

"This can't be the end! Serena, do something!" Crow shouted in shock.

"I...I..." Serena uttered in fear as the blast got closer.

"YES! YES! YES!" Roget shouted like a mad man.

"NO!" Yuya desperately screamed.

"I...won't lose...Trap Activate-" Serena shouted before her monster was hit by the dark flames.

"DIE!" The witch yelled.

"SERENA!" Yuya and Crow cried.

Lio Dancer was revealed to be using it's blade to protect Serena from the blast, shocking everyone.

"WHAT?!" The witch shouted in shock.

"I activated the Trap Card...Fusion Strike...giving a Fusion monster on my field 500 ATK for each of it's Fusion Materials...!"

Lio Dancer (3500/3000)-(5000/3000)

"IT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH!" The witch shouted as the blast overpowered Lio Dancer, causing a powerful explosion that consumed Serena.

"GAAAAH!"

SERENA: 600-100 LP

"I...am still alive..." Serena uttered in a pained tone.

"How the hell is she still standing?!" Roget gasped in disbelief.

"She survived the the turn...but she looks pretty beaten..." Crow noticed.

"I...will win this duel! Trap Activate! Moonlight Counter! During my opponent's turn, when a Moonlight Fusion monster is destroyed through battle or card effect, a card on the field is destroyed! I destroy Darkness Rose Death Dragon!"

A cyan colored blast shot out of the card at the dragon.

"If she gets rid of that dragon..." Crow began.

"She can win!" Yuya finished.

"..." The witch remained silent for a moment, almost as if she wanted the dragon to leave the field herself, but another shock from her mask caused her to take action. "GRAAAH! Darkness Rose's effect activates! Once per turn, when a card effect is activated that targets this card, by banishing a Rose Synchro monster, that card is negated and destroyed! Then, the owner of that card takes damage equal to half of the ATK of the banished monster!"

"N-No...!" Serena gasped in disbelief.

"I banish Crimson Rose Blazing Dragon to negate Moonlight Counter and inflict 1600 damage to you!" The witch shouted the spirit of Crimson Rose appeared in front of Darkness Rose, protecting it from the blast.

"She's going to lose..." Crow said as he looked away, not wanting to see what was going to happen next. Yuya just watched with a terrified look in his eyes, not being able to say a word.

"SINK INTO DARKNESS AND DIE! ROSE REVENGE!" The witch shouted. The spirit turned into dark energy that flew towards Serena.

"I...banish the Trap Card, Moonlight Guardian in my graveyard...along with a Moonlight Fusion monster such as Lio Dancer...to reduce an instance of battle or effect damage to 0...!" Serena shouted as the spirit of Lio Dancer protected her. "Also...if the banished monster was level 8 or higher...I can draw a card!"

"She...survived it!" Crow shouted as he looked up.

"Serena...please don't give up..." Yuya uttered.

"You'll die soon enough! I set a card facedown and end my turn!" The masked woman concluded as her dragon roared.

Darkness Rose (5500/2800)-(3400/2800)

"My...t-"

Before Serena began her turn, she noticed that her hand shook as it hovered over her deck. She was... scared. Despite unleashing everything she had...she was still being bested. She had nothing left that could help her. She wasn't strong enough.

She failed.

With Yuzu, Shun, and Sora

The three teens were running through the streets of the city, trying to get away from where the invasion was going to take place.

"We have to keep moving!" Sora shouted as they continued to run.

"I hope the others are ok..." Yuzu uttered.

"Yuya and the others can protect themselves. They'll be fine." Shun reassured the girl.

"I hope you are right." Yuzu said.

Suddenly, the girl felt something strange, almost as if her heart skipped a beat. She stopped running, causing Shun and Sora to turn around in a concerned manner.

"What's wrong?!" Shun questioned.

"Yuzu, we can't afford to stop. They'll be here soon-"

"It's Serena." Yuzu cut Sora off as she looked down.

"What do you mean?" Sora asked.

"Look up there." Shun pointed at a building with a screen being projected on it. The screen showed a distressed and injured Serena facing a terrifying masked woman with a giant black dragon.

"Serena..." Yuzu uttered in a worried tone. For some reason, she could feel what Serena was feeling. She looked at her cracked bracelet which was giving off a slight glow.

Yuzu put her hands together and closed her eyes.

"Serena...you can do this...!" Yuzu whispered as her bracelet shined even brighter...

At the duel

"Serena...you can do this...!"

Serena opened her eyes as she heard the faint sound of Yuzu's voice.

"Yuzu...!" Serena uttered as her eyes widened.

That's when it hit her. She wasn't fighting just for herself. She wasn't fighting just to prove her strength.

She thought about Yuzu, Reiji, and Yuto, the people who had believed that she could change and turn away from Academia.

She thought about her teammates, Yuya and Crow, who encouraged her to never give up.

She thought about Reira, Yugo, Masumi, Sawatari, and the other Lancers that she had befriended.

She thought about her friend that she wanted to save from the path of darkness.

She even thought about her opponent, who wasn't in control of her destiny, which reminded her of herself back when she was in Academia.

"I can't lose...when I am fighting for so many others...I won't fail them!" Serena shouted in a determined

Her bracelet began to flash pink and purple as she placed her hand on her deck.

"My turn...I...DRAW!" Serena shouted as she powerfully drew, creating an arc of purple and pink light as she drew. As she looked at the card she had drawn, she felt Yuzu's presence next to her. "This is it! My final hope! The fun has just begun!"

"Yuzu...?" Yuya uttered as he saw Yuzu beside Serena. And when Serena yelled his and Yuzu's catchphrase, she could have sworn he heard Yuzu's voice.

"This is it! Quick Play Spell...Eclipse Fusion activate!" Serena shouted as she slammed the card onto her duel disk while her Extra Deck gave off a pink and purple glow.

"What is this?!" Roget shouted in confusion.

"This card allows me to Fusion Summon a Moonlight Fusion monster by shuffling banished monsters into my deck as Fusion Materials!" Serena explained with a smirk.

"WHAT?!" The witch shouted in shock.

"I fuse Moonlight Blue Cat and Moonlight Purple Butterfly!" Serena began as her two monsters began to swirl into the fusion vortex. "Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Butterfly with violet poison! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! FUSION SUMMON! Come to me! Level 7! Lone beast dancing under the moonless sky!MOONLIGHT WILDCAT DANCER!" Serena shouted as a new pendulums version of her ace appeared. The new monster was extremely similar to Cat Dancer except she carried carried two black whips instead of daggers. And instead of her normal dress, she wore a indigo colored dress with red highlights. The new monster twirled through the air before landing her master.

Moonlight Wildcat Dancer (2400/2000) LVL: 7

"U-U-Unbelievable! Despite witnessing Synchro Pendulum and Xyz Pendulum monsters from Yugo, Yuto, and Yuya Sakaki, Serena is the first to show off a Fusion Pendulum monster! How incredible!" Melissa shouted in disbelief.

"Fusion...Pendulum..!" Yuya said in disbelief.

"Wow...!" Crow uttered in awe.

"Serena brought out a Pendulum form of her ace...just like Yugo and Yuto were able to do when we bonded." Yuya said, thinking back to went Yuto and Yugo summoned Dark Anthelion Dragon and Clear Wing Fast Dragon respectively. Did this mean she somehow bonded with Yuzu? That could explain the phenomenons he had recently noticed.

"It doesn't matter...that monster is nothing compared to my dragon!" The masked woman yelled.

"That's not true! This monster represents the bonds that I share with those who believe in me! And I won't let them down! From my hand, I summon Moonligjt Pink Mouse!" Serena shouted as a female humanoid pink mouse that was dressed in white appeared.

Moonlight Pink Mouse (300/1100) LVL: 3

"Lets go! Moonlight Wild Cat Dancer's effect activates! By releasing a Moonlight monster on my field, this card can attack all monsters on my opponent field twice, just like Cat Dancer! I release Pink Mouse!" Serena shouted as her monster bursted into particles that flew into her pendulum ace.

"Two attacks won't help if your monster is too weak to face mine!" The masked woman yelled.

"Is that what you think?" Serena smirked.

"What?!"

"This is our victory! BATTLE! Wildcat Dancer, attack Darkness Rose Death Dragon!" Serena exclaimed as her monster leaped high in the air.

"But her monster is 800 ATK short?!" Melissa questioned.

"At this moment, Wildcat Dancer's effect! Since I released a monster to unlock her effects...any monster this card battles has it's ATK and DEF halved!" Serena and Yuzu shouted together.

Wildcat Dander swung one of her whips through the air which wrapped around the dragon, causing it to cry out as it weakened.

Darkness Rose (3400/1800)-(1700/900)

"With this, Serena had won!" Crow cheered.

"Do it, Serena!" Yuya shouted.

"This is our victory!" Serena and Yuzu shouted together.

"I WON'T FAIL! Trap Activate! Rose Blizzard! The attack is negated and your monster is switched to defense mode!" The witch countered, shocking everyone. A storm of roses surrounded Serena's monster, causing it to return to the ground.

Wildcat Dancer (2400/2000)-(2400/2000)

Darkness Rose (1700/900)-(3400/1800)

"E-Eh?! I surely thought Serena was going to win! How unexpected!" Melissa shouted.

"She had the perfect counter...!" Yuya's eyes widened in horror.

"...You knew exactly what I was going to do...and you set up the perfect counter that would prevent me from attacking at all..." Serena said as she looked down. "But..."

Serena looked up with a grin on her face, surprising everyone.

"I've been waiting for this moment!"

"W-What?!"

"Moonlight Pink Mouse's effect activates in my graveyard! During either player's turn, I can banish this card to change the battle position of a Moonlight monster on my field! I switch Moonlight Wildcat back to attack mode!"

Moonlight Wild Cat (2400/2000)-(2400/2000)

"And due to it's effect...it can attack again...!" Crow realized.

"And with it's ATK halved...Wildcat Dancer can inflict enough damage to win...!" Yuya uttered.

"You...planned for my counter...?!" The witch questioned in shock.

"I guess I learned a thing or two from dueling you." Serena admitted.

"..." The witch looked down in silence.

"This can't be...there's no possible way..." Roget said in a mix of anger and shock. No amount of electricity could help his weapon now.

"Do, it Wildcat Dancer! Second Attack! At this moment, your dragon's ATK and DEF are halved!" Serena shouted as her monster swung one of her whips through the air once more, wrapping it around the dragon.

Darkness Rose (3400/1800)-(1700/900)

"THIS IS THE END!" Serena and Yuzu shouted in unision. The Fusion waved her other whip in a circular motion in the air, causing a cyan colored circle to appear (similar to Cat Dancer's Full Moon Cresta but on a larger scale).

"W-Woah...!" Melissa uttered as she looked at the shinning attack.

"Go...NEW MOON CRESTA!"

The shinning moon-like circle in the sky fired a large cyan colored blast at the witch's field.

The black dragon gave out one last roar as it was completely obliterated by the blast.

"...Thank...you..." The witch uttered as she was enveloped by the blast, causing a piece of her mask around her left eye to crack and fall off.

BLACK ROSE WITCH: 350-0 LP

"I-It's over! In an unexpected twist, Serena has overcome the Black Rose Witch!" Melissa shouted in a somewhat surprised tone as the crowd roared in excitement.

"She did it...she really did it!" Yuya gleefully shouted.

"Awesome job, Serena!" Crow cheered.

The witch silently drove away, causing Serena to look at the woman with a saddened expression. When this was all over, she swore to help her.

With Yuzu

"Yuzu! Are you ok?!" Sora questioned as he shook the girl.

"S-Sora...what happened..." Yuzu uttered as she snapped back to reality.

"You completely zoned out for a moment. What the hell happened?!" Shun asked.

"I'm not exactly sure...but Serena is ok now..." Yuzu said with a smile before turning to the Fusion and Xyz residents. "Sorry about that. Lets keep moving."

"Right, lets go!" Sora shouted.

At the Stadium

"DAMN IT!" Roget shouted in anger. His most powerful team is somehow beating bested by these brats. "Grr...luckily...I still have one card left to play...Sergey...destroy everything in your path!"

In response to Roget's command, a red eye glowed in the dark tunnel of the stadium. A demonic laugh echoed throughout the stadium as the remaining member of Team Devastation road out of the tunnel on his D-Wheel.

The true battle was just getting started.

Hey guys! Sorry that took two whole months to create, but with the holidays and other things happening, it was a little hard to find time to write. But nevertheless, I managed to come with enough material to post a chapter. I decided to split this into two chapters because I didn't feel like waiting until late January to post this chapter. And I really didn't feel like making another super long chapter.

I'd like to thank BladeWriter3 for Eclipse Fusion, Moonlight Caracal Dancer, Moonlight Cheetah Dancer, Moonlight Wildcat Dancer, Moolight Cheetah Dancer, and Moonlight Leopard Dancer. These cards made writing this chapter wayyyy easier to write, so thank you friend :)

A few of you might be surprised about the fusion cards I gave to the 5Ds characters. I thought it would be a cool concept and it made sense since Roget gave all of his allies Fusion monsters.

Serena and Yuzu had a bonding moment, which will get expanded in later on.

I honestly had a really good time writing these duels and they both turned out pretty good. I hope you all like the backstory of Crow and Kiryu's feud. And the Witch's backstory will be revealed later on. Neither of them are finished just yet.

As for what's to come, you guys are in for one hell of a ride.
