"I have to say Reiji Akaba, your Lancers have proved to be quite formidable." White Taki told the older teen.

"Thank you, Chairman." Reiji thanked the elder man.

"This will most definitely go down as the greatest Friendship Cup of all time." Azul commented.

"And the crowd seems to love every bit of these duels." Gray added.

"Reira..." Reiji got his brother's attention before kneeling down to his level. "I have a mission for you."

"A m-mission?!" Reira nervously stuttered.

"I need you to sneak out of the room while everyone is watching the next duel." Reiji told his sibling.

"Where do you want me to go...?" Reira quietly asked.

Reiji then got close to Reira's ear and whispered where he wanted Reira to go.

"B-But brother...I can't do that by myself..." Reira said before beginning to breathe heavily.

"Relax Reira...you have been training for this for you entire life...you are more capable then anyone else...I believe in you..." Reiji told his brother in a reassuring tone.

"Y-You do...?" Reira uttered, never hearing his brother say those words before.

"I do. Now, hurry along before anyone notices." Reiji said as he patted the boy on his back.

"O-Ok, brother. I will make you proud." Reira nodded before sneaking off.

Reiji smiled as he saw the boy's confidence begin to rise. He then turned to the screen, hoping his Lancers would be able to achieve victory.

With Yuto

The Xyz user was still in pursuit of his pink and purple haired look-a-like. The boy caught his breath for a moment as he stood on top of a moving vehicle on the highway.

"You can't catch me!" Yuri shouted, who was standing on another moving car.

"You bastard...I will end you!" Yuto angrily shouted as he leaped off of the roof of the car onto the vehicle Yuri was standing on.

"Uh oh..." Yuri uttered as the Phantom duelist charged towards him. The boy smirked before leaping off of the highway, causing him to land on the roof of a building.

"Damn you!" Yuto growled as he also leaped onto the roof.

As Yuri leapt from roof to roof, he got a call on his duel disk.

"Yuri, where are you?" A muscular man with an eye patch questioned.

"I'm currently in the middle of something. I'll have to call you back-"

"This is no time for jokes!" The man shouted in an annoyed tone.

"Sheesh, you aren't any fun at all, Barrett." Yuri grimaced.

"That's Captain Barrett to you, soldier. Anyway, why did no one meet with us at the rendezvous?" Barrett asked.

"You mean...Sora didn't show up?" Yuri asked in a somewhat saddened tone as he realized what this meant. To be honest, he actually liked the boy due to him being pretty laid back compared to everyone else in Academia. But once again, he was betrayed.

"What the hell is keeping you so preoccupied? Are you pursuing Yuzu Hiragi?" The man questioned.

"Negative. Two priority level targets are currently pursuing me." Yuri explained as he jumped onto the roof of another building with Yuto following behind.

"You don't mean...those two...Yuri, you know that the Professor strictly told you to stay away from those two. What the hell do you think you are doing playing cat and mouse with them?!" Barrett angrily questioned.

"I was careful when observing the Lancers, there shouldn't be any way they noticed me. It's almost like they sensed me somehow..." Yuri uttered to himself as he almost lost his balance due to being distracted for a moment.

"Grr..." Barrett grunted, knowing the Professor isn't going to be pleased. He didn't understand why he wanted to keep Yuri away from those boys, but there was no way he was going to question his leader's judgement.

"Relax, Captain. I'm luring them into a spot where I can duel them both and-"

"No! You know the Professor will be angered if you duel them!" Barrett shouted.

"He won't be mad if I successfully card them." Yuri said with a sinister smirk.

"Yuri, don't-" Yuri ended the transmission as Barrett tried to warn the boy.

At the Stadium

Sergey drove out of the tunnel on a D-Wheel with three front wheels and one back wheel. It was black, gold, and red with several blades sticking out of it. His D-Wheel also had a black duel disk with a red blade. The man wore a black and green outfit that had red lines running through it. He wore a black helmet that had a red visor.

"T-The legendary Duelist Crusher has appeared on the field!" Melissa announced, causing the crowd to loudly cheer.

"I thought he was dead!"

"I heard that guy defeated hundreds of people in the underground!"

"He must be crazy powerful!"

"The crowd...is cheering for this psychopath...?!" Yuya uttered in a somewhat pissed off tone.

"We meet again." Sergey said as he caught up to his opponent.

"You're the guy who hurt Yugo...I'll make you pay for that!" Serena angrily shouted.

"Hehehe, your a feisty one. I'll have fun with you." Sergey grinned.

"DUEL!"

SERENA: 100 LP vs SERGEY: 4000 LP

"My turn!" Sergey smirked as he drew. "My path of destruction begins right now! Since there is a Field Spell currently active, I can special summon Earthbound Prisoner - Stone Sweeper." The man shouted as a black entity that was shaped like a whale appeared with cyan lines running through it and a shackle on it's tail.

Earthbound Prisoner - Stone Sweeper (1600/1600) LVL:5

"Using the already activate Field Spell, Crossover Accel to summon a monster! What an impressive tactic." Melissa commented.

"Next, I summon the Tuner monster, Earthbound Prisoner - Line Walker." Sergey said as a black entity with two large arms that had shackles on it's wrists and orange lines running through it.

Earthbound Prisoner - Line Walker (800/1100) LVL:3

"I activate the spell card Underworld Harmonics - Synchro Fusion. This card lets me simultaneously use my two monsters as material for a Fusion Summon and a Synchro Summon." Sergey explained was his red eye glowed. The two monsters then split into two clones of themselves.

"What?! A Fusion Summon and a Synchro Summon?!" Crow shouted in shock.

"I fuse Line Walker and Stone Sweeper! Prisoner that crawls across the earth! Become one with the prisoner that walks the path of execution, and become a gigantic beast that delivers out punishment! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken!" Sergey shouted as a black entity that was shaped like a Kraken appeared with bright purple lights running through it.

Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken (2800/1200) LVL:8

"I tune my level 3 Line Walker to my level 5 Stone Sweeper! Revive from the depths of the earth! Gigantic beast with wings of punishment! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 8! Earthbound Servant - Geo Gryphon!" Sergey shouted as a black entity in the shape of a winged beast appeared with bright yellow lines running through it.

Earthbound Servant - Geo Gryphon (2500/1500) LVL:8

"Incredible! Sergey Volkov has performed a Fusion Summon and a Synchro Summon using the same monsters!" Melissa shouted.

"Unbelievable..." Serena uttered in a worried tone.

"This isn't good...both of those monsters are stronger than Wildcat Dancer...and with only 100 life points..." Yuya trailed off.

"BATTLE! Geo Kraken, attack Moonlight Wildcat Dancer! Death Shock!" Sergey commanded as his monster fired purple electricity at the hybrid.

"I...refuse to lose!" Serena shouted as she grabbed an Action Card off of the ground. "Action Spell, Damage Break! During this turn, any battle or effect damage either player would take is reduced to 0!"

As a barrier appeared around Serena, her monster bursted from being shocked by the electricity.

"Ghh...Wildcat Dancer's effect...when this card is destroyed by battle or card effect...I can place this card in the Pendulum Zone!" Serena explained as her monster rose up into the blue column.

Wildcat Dancer 4 -

"Interesting...I set a card facedown, turn end." The cyborg concluded with a creepy smirk on his face, which didn't go unnoticed by Serena.

"This guy is dangerous...I need to end this right now! My turn, draw! I activate the Spell Card, Moonlight Draw! While I control no monsters I can draw three cards! Then, I must send a Moonlight monster from my hand to the graveyard. I discard Moonlight Tiger. Next, with the Scale 6 Moonlight Puma, I set the Pendulum Scale!"

A male black humanoid puma with dark blue clothing appeared in the empty column.

Wildcat Dancer 4 - 6 Puma

"With the set scale, I can simultaneously summon level 5 monsters! Swing Pendulum in the moonlight! Draw an arc across the night sky and dance across the battle field! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monster! From my hand, Moonlight Scarlet Phoenix!"

A single light shot out of the portal, revealing a humanoid female phoenix with burning red wings and clothing.

Moonlight Scarlet Phoenix (2000/1000) LVL: 5

"Scarlet Phoenix's effect activates! When this card is summoned to my field, I can special summon a Moonlight monster from my graveyard with it's effects negated and in defense mode! Return, Moonlight Tiger!" Serena shouted as the yellow striped pendulum monster appeared which was discarded previously.

Moonlight Tiger (1200/800) LVL: 3

"This is it! Moonlight Wildcat Dancer's Pendulum effect activates! By sending a Fusion Spell from my hand to the graveyard, I can release two Moonlight monsters to Fusion Summon this card from the Pendulum Zone!" Serena explained.

"Just like Yuto's Scale Xyz and Yugo's Scale Synchro..." Yuya said.

"I discard the Spell Card, Double Fusion and release Moonlight Scarlet Phoenix and Moonlight Tiger! Fiery phoenix with burning wings! Striped beast that hunts in the night! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Scale Fusion Summon! Come to me! Level 7! Lone beast dancing under the moonless sky! Moonlight Wildcat Dancer!" Serena shouted as the Pendulum version of her ace returned from the blue column.

Moonlight Wildcat Dancer (2400/2000) LVL: 7

"Lets go! Moonlight Puma's Pendulum effect activates! When a Moonlight Fusion monster is special summoned to my field, I can special summon this card from my Pendulum Zone! Come, Moonlight Puma!" Serena shouted as her monster jumped out of the Pendulum zone.

Moonlight Puma (1900/900) LVL: 6

"Moonlight Wild Cat Dancer's effect activates! By releasing a Moonlight monster on my field, this card can attack all monsters on my opponent field twice and the first time this card attacks a monster, it isn't destroyed! Also, when this card attacks a monster, it's ATK and DEF are halved! I release Moonlight Puma!" Serena shouted as her monster bursted into particles that flew into her pendulum ace.

"If these attacks are successful, Serena will inflict inflict 4300 points of damage!" Melissa shouted in a surprised tone.

"A One Turn Kill! Serena's new monster truly is something else!" Crow shouted.

"Amazing!" Yuya cheered.

"I won't let you hurt my friends! BATTLE! Moonlight Wildcat Dancer, attack Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken! At this moment, your dragon's ATK and DEF are halved!" Serena shouted as her monster swung one of her whips through the air once more, wrapping it around the Earthbound monster.

Geo Kraken (2800/1200)-(1400/600)

The hybrid monster struck the Synchro with it's second whip, causing a powerful shockwave to shake Sergey's D-Wheel.

SERGEY: 4000-3000 LP

"Second Attack! Destroy Geo Kraken! NEW MOON CRESTA!" The Fusion waved her other whip in a circular motion in the air, causing a cyan colored circle to appear sky. The shinning moon-like circle fired a large cyan colored blast at which decimated the Fusion monster. Sergey grinned as he was hit by the blast.

SERGEY: 3000-2000 LP

"Hehehe..." Sergey creepily laughed.

"Is he...enjoying this?" Serena uttered in a disgusted tone. "It doesn't matter! This duel is over! Third Attack-!"

"HAHAHA! You just sealed your own fate! Geo Gryphon's effect now activates! When this card or another Earthbound monster is destroyed, I can target a monster on your field and it's destroyed!" Sergey shouted like a mad man as his monster began to glow bright yellow.

"W-What?!" Serena stuttered.

"No way!" Yuya shouted in shock.

"HAHAH! I target Wildcat Dancer! Say goodbye to your only monster!" Sergey shouted as his monster charged forward and bursted through the hybrid.

"Wildcat Dancer!" Serena cried.

"She has nothing else left..." Yuya realized as his eyes widened in fear.

Serena gritted her teeth as she saw an approaching Action Card. She grabbed the card and looked at it before glaring back at her opponent.

"You wont be victorious! Yuya will defeat you! I set a card facedown, turn end!" Serena shouted as she set the Action Card.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that! My turn! BATTLE!" Sergey declared.

"Sergey, do not kill her! She is vital to our plans! Save your bloodlust for your next opponent!" Roget commanded.

"Fine...Geo Gryphon, DIRECT ATTACK! UNDERWORLD CANNON!" Sergey yelled with a grin as his monster fired a purple and yellow blast of energy at Serena.

Serena looked at her set card and closed her eyes as she was consumed by the blast.

SERENA: 100-0 LP

"SERENA!" Yuya cried.

"I-It's over! S-Sergey Volkov has managed to defeat Serena in a frightening display..." Melissa said in a nervous tone as the crowd cheered.

Yuya noticed the crowd's roars of excitement from Sergey's violent dueling. He then saw Serena pull into the pit. Her outfit had several tears and her skin was scratched and bruised from her previous two duels. At the sight of his injured friend, Yuya gritted his teeth in anger.

"Sorry...I couldn't do more..." Serena uttered as she fell off of her D-Wheel.

"Serena! I got you!" Yuya shouted as he caught the girl in his arms.

"Serena, you were awesome out there. Yuya will take care of the rest." Crow told the girl with a reassuring smile.

"Right...Yuya...take it." Serena uttered as she handed the Action Card she picked up.

"Thank you...Serena. That bastard...I'll make him pay for what he did to you...!" Yuya grunted.

Serena looked up and saw Yuya's eyes softly glow in response to his anger. She place her hand on Yuya's heart with her hand as her bracelet softly glowed, calming Yuya down.

"Yuya...remember what I told you...you can't let your opponent or the crowd cause you to lose control of your anger...just keep dueling the way you want to. I believe in you." Serena told the boy with a faint smile.

"So do I. You got this, kid. We are counting on you!" Crow said with a smile as he put his hand on Yuya's shoulder.

"Serena...Crow..." Yuya uttered before smiling. "...I definitely won't let you guys down! I'll beat him with my Entertainment Dueling!"

The three fist bumped one last time before Yuya put his helmet on and raced off on his D-Wheel.

"The final round is about to begin with Yuya Sakaki racing onto the track! This boy has pulled several miracles throughout this tournament already...but will he be able to defeat the unstoppable Duelist Crusher?!" Melissa questioned as the crowd roared in excitement.

"YUYA! YUYA! YUYA!"

"SERGEY! SERGEY! SERGEY!"

"Brother...do you think Yuya can win?" Reira asked.

"It depends...I don't doubt that he has the strength to win...if just depends on how he chooses to duel." Reiji explained as he pushed up his glasses.

"Yuya...please win..." Reira prayed as Yuya approached Sergey.

"Greetings, Yuya Sakaki." Sergey greeted his opponent in a sadistic tone, surprising his opponent.

'To think this guy is a cyborg...' Yuya thought to himself.

"I've witnessed your past duels and I have to say, you are quite strong. I will take enjoyment in crushing you until there's nothing left of you." Sergey said with a malicious grin.

"You...!" Yuya began to feel angry, but took a deep breath, calming himself down. "I...will defeat you with my Entertainment Dueling! The fun has just begun!"

"Hehehe...I'm going to enjoy this!" Sergey grinned.

"DUEL!"

SERGEY: 2000 LP vs YUYA: 4000 LP

"Ladies and Gentleman! Witness as I, Yuya Sakaki, defeat my devilish opponent while making you all smile! Here we go! My turn, draw!" Yuya smiled as he drew, creating an arc of light as he drew. "Alright! Lets get this show started! From my hand, I summon Entermate Discover Hippo!"

Entermate Disciver Hippo (800/800) LVL: 3

"And by releasing an Entermate monster on my field, I can special summon this card! Come forth! Level 7! Entermate Sleight Hand Magician!" Yuya shouted as his magician appeared which was clad in red and also had a lower body that resembled Yuya's pendulum.

Entermate Sleight Hand Magician (2500/2000) LVL: 7

"Time for my Magician's effect! By discarding a card, my magician can destroy a face up card on the field! Sleight Hand will destroy your Geo Gryphon!" Yuya shouted with a smile as his magician shot a blast of blue energy into the sky that beautifully rained down on the Synchro monster, destroying it.

"Have you learned nothing from your teammate's defeat? Geo Gryphon's effect now activates! When this card or another Earthbound monster is destroyed, I can target a monster on your field and it's destroyed! I target your Magician!" Sergey shouted like a mad man as the spirit of his monster appeared. The spirit flew forward and smash into the magician, causing a powerful explosion.

"Grr..." Yuya grunted from the explosion.

"Was that all?" Sergey questioned.

"Not even close! Quick Play Spell, Illusion Balloons activate! I can check the top cards of my deck equal to the amount of destroyed cards this turn and if one of the cards is an Entermate, I can special summon the one with the highest level! But since only one monster was destroyed, I only have one chance." Yuya explained as he placed his hand on his deck.

"Only one chance? Those aren't good odds at all..." Melissa commented.

"The fun...has just begun!" Yuya shouted as he drew the card and looked at it. Yuya then grinned as he revealed the card. "Alright! The card was Entermate Hammer Mammo!"

The blue elephant with a hammer on it's trunk appeared on Yuya's field.

Entermate Hammer Mammo (2600/1800) LVL: 6

"A monster with 2600 ATK!" Crow gasped.

"That's enough to win..." Serena realized.

"This is my dueling! Battle! Hammer Mammo, attack him directly and end this duel!" Yuya commanded with a smile as his monster leaped forward.

"Trap Activate! Earthbound Re-Burst! During the turn an Earthbound Servant monster is destroyed, I can special summon an Earthbound Servant with a different name from my graveyard! Come, Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken!" Sergey shouted as his Fusion monster returned.

Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken (2800/1200) LVL:8

"Also, I gain life points equal to that card's ATK!" Sergey explained as he was enveloped in a green aura.

SERGEY: 2000-4800 LP

"No way..." Yuya uttered in disbelief.

"Hahaha!" Sergey laughed.

"No...I refuse to lose hope just yet! I set a card facedown, turn end!" Yuya concluded.

"Prepare to taste my wrath! My turn! Line Walker's effect in my graveyard activates! By banishing this card, I can treat your Hammer Mammo as being special summoned during this turn!" Sergey explained.

"Eh?" Yuya tilted his head in confusion.

"Haha! Geo Kraken's effect activates! All of my opponent's monsters that were special summoned during my turn are destroyed and you take 800 damage for each monster destroyed!" Sergey shouted with an evil smile.

"What?!" Yuya's eyes widened in fear.

"Say goodbye to your only monster!" Sergey shouted as his monster fired purple miasma from it's body that consumed the Entermate and Yuya.

"GAAAH!"

YUYA: 4000-3200 LP

"What the hell...was that...?!" Yuya uttered to himself. The solid vision really was being amplified.

"Battle! Geo Kraken, Direct Attack! Death Shock!" Sergey commanded as purple lightning flew out of it's body and at Yuya.

"Tch...Trap Activate! Defense Draw! I don't take any damage and then I draw a card!" Yuya countered.

"Hehehe. I set a card facedown, turn end." Sergey concluded.

'This guy is insanely powerful...but I won't give up on my dueling!' Yuya thought as he steeled his resolved. "Lets go! My turn! With this Scale 1 Entermate Monkeyboard and the Scale 6 Entermate Guitartle, I set the Pendulum Scale!"

A monkey in with keyboard-looking teeth and a guitar shaped turtle appeared in the columns.

Monkeyboard 1 - 6 Guitartle

"Guitartle's Pendulum effect! Since a card was placed in the Pendulum Zone, I can draw a card! Then, Monkeyboard's Pendulum Effect! I can add a level 4 or lower Entermate from my deck to my hand!" Yuya explained with smirk.

"Yuya Sakaki seems to be setting up for a big counterattack!" Melissa commented.

"The fun has just begun! With the set scale, I can simultaneously summon monsters with level 2 through 5! Swing Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! From my hand, Entermate Whip Snake! Entermate Handsamuriger!" Yuya shouted as two lights shot out of the portal, revealing a purple snake with a top hat and a samurai in red armor.

"Whip Viper's effect activates! By targeting Geo Kraken, it's ATK and DEF is switched!" Yuya explained with a smile.

Geo Kraken (2800/1200)-(1200/2800)

"Battle! Handsamuriger, attack Geo Kraken!" Yuya commanded. The samurai charged forward and raised it's sword to the sky before slashing through the center of the Fusion.

SERGEY: 4800-4200 LP

"Handsamuriger's effect activates! When this card destroys a monster by battle, I can a level 5 or higher Pendulum monster from my deck to my hand!I add Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix to my hand! Now go, Whip Viper! Direct Attack-"

"Trap Activate, Earthbound Wall of Souls! When my opponent declares a Direct Attack, for every monster they control, I can special summon an Earthbound Servant from my graveyard! Come back, Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken! Earthbound Servant - Geo Gryphon!"

"Not again...!" Yuya grunted.

"I...set a card facedown, turn end." Yuya concluded with a worried look on his face.

"Where's that smile?" Sergey questioned with a smirk. "My turn! Battle! Geo Kraken, attack Entermate Whip Viper! Death Shock!"

"Trap Activate Last Minute Cancel! Both of my monsters are now switched to defense mode!" Yuya quickly shouted.

The purple blast of lightning vaporized the purple snake.

"Geo Gryphon, attack Entermate Handsamuriger! Underworld Cannon!" Sergey shouted as his monster fired it's purple and yellow blast which obliterated the samurai.

"Ghh...!" Yuya grunted.

"How much longer can you last? I set a card facedown, turn end!" Sergey concluded.

"It looks I'm in a pinch..." Yuya nervously smiled before extending his hands to the air. "...Ladies and Gentleman! Watch as I turn this situation around with a swift counterattack! The fun has just begun! My turn, draw! Entermate Monkeyboard's Pendulum effect! I add a level 4 or lower Entermate to my hand!"

As Yuya spoke, a card popped out his deck. He then placed the card into his hand before pointing to the sky.

"Here we go! With the set scale, Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! From my hand, Entmernate Drop Gallop! Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix!" Yuya exclaimed as the cartoonish pink horse along with the red phoenix appeared.

"Drop Gallop's effect! When this card is Pendulum Summoned, I can draw a card for every Entermate monster that were Pendulum Summoned! I draw two cards! Now, I activate the Spell Card, Fusion! I fuse Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix and Drop Gallop!" Yuya shouted as his monsters began to swirl into the fusion vortex.

"Yuya Sakaki's Pendulum Fusion is here!" Melissa shouted.

"Beautiful galloping beast! Become one with the wings of light and bring forth the dragonic beast that slashes through all! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Entermate Odd Eyes Metal Claw!" Yuya shouted as the wolf and dragon hybrid appeared. The monster had blue fur, red and silver armor, and had sharp razor claws.

Entermate Odd Eyes Metal Claw (3000/2500) LVL: 8

"Lets go! Battle! Metal Claw, show the crowd your spectacular power! Attack Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken! At this moment, Odd Eyes Metal Claw's effect activates! When this card declares an attack, all monsters on my field gain 300 ATK!" Yuya yelled as his monster roared while the blue orbs on it glowed brightly.

Metal Claw (3000/2000)-(3300/2000)

"Go, Spiral Strike Slash!" Yuya commanded his newest Fusion. The monster roared as it's razor sharp claws ignited in glowing red energy which easily slashed through the opposing monster.

SERGEY: 4200-3700 LP

"Geo Gryphon's effect! Since an Earthbound monster was destroyed, I can target and destroy a card on your field-"

"What an incredible way to get around Geo Gryphon's effect!" Melissa shouted as the crowd cheered for Yuya.

"It's working..." Yuya smiled as he heard the cheers from the audience. "I'll conclude my act with one card facedown."

Metal Claw (3300/2000)-(3000/2000)

"Interesting...My turn! I activate the Equip Spell, Earthbound Soul and I equip it to Geo Gryphon! When this card is equipped to an Earthbound monster, I can banish another Earthbound monster in my graveyard and the equipped monster gains half of the banished monster's ATK! I banish Geo Kraken and Geo Gryphon gains 1400 ATK!"

"What?!" Yuya nervously shouted.

"Hehehe! Battle! Geo Gryphon, attack Entermate Odd Eyes Metal Claw! Underworld Cannon!" Sergey commanded as his monster fired a purple and yellow blast at Yuya's monster.

"Tch...Trap Activate! Wall of Disruption! All monsters on your field lose 800 ATK for each monster on your field!" Yuya countered.

"That's not enough!" Sergey grinned as Yuya's monster was vaporized.

"You won't survive much longer. I end my turn." Sergey concluded.

"I won't give up just yet! The fun has just begun! My turn, draw! Monkeyboard's effect activates once more!" Yuya explained as a card popped out of his deck.

Yuya then noticed an Action Card in front of him. He tried speeding forward to get the card, but at the last moment, Sergey cut in front of him and grabbed it. This caused Yuya to swerve to the right in order to avoid a collision, which almost resulting in my crashing against the wall of the track.

"This guy...!" Yuya grunted as his eyes flickered for a moment. 'No! Like Serena said...I won't let my opponent's actions cause me to lose my temper...'

Yuya brushed off his angered expression and smiled before grabbing a card in his hand.

"I activate the Spell Card, Odd Eyes Draw!" Yuya shouted as the top card of his deck glowed red. "It's time to test my luck! With the effect of my spell, I send the top card of my deck to the graveyard and if it is a Odd Eyes monster, I get to draw depending on it's level! If it is level 6 or lower, I draw two and if it is level 7 or higher, I can draw three cards!"

"But if it isn't an Odd Eyes card...he won't be able to draw..." Serena said in a worried tone.

"C'mon, Yuya!" Crow cheered.

"The fun...has just begun!" Yuya shouted as he drew his card. "The card was...the level 7 Odd Eyes Gravity Dragon! And by sending it to the graveyard, I draw three cards! Next, with the set scale, Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! From my Extra Deck, Entermate Odd Eyes Light Phoenix! And from my hand, the tuner monster, Entermate Odd Eyes Synchron! "Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon's other effect activates! By shuffling a Pendulum monster that's face up in my Extra Deck such as Entermate Trump Girl back into my deck, your spell's effect is negated and destroyed! Counter Storm!" Yuya yelled as a burst of wind shattered the spell.

"Earthbound Soul's effect activates! When the equipped monster would leave the field due to a card effect, I can release it in order to special summon the monster banished by it's first effect! I release Geo Gryphon to special summon the banished Earthbound Servant - Geo Kraken!"

"And due to my card's effect, Enlightenment Paladin gains half of Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon's ATK!"

"The same strategy that he used in his duel against Sora...he plans on finishing this duel right now." Reiji commented.

"That's 3750 damage...and Sergey has 3700 life points...so Yuya can win!" Serena smiled.

"Ladies and gentleman! Feast your eyes on this spectacular grand finale! BATTLE! Enlightenment Paladin, attack Geo Kraken-!"

"How naive! Counter Trap, Earthbound Glyph Barrier! When an opponent attacks an Earthbound monster, the attack is negated! Also, that monster is destroyed!" Sergey shouted. The ground began to crack open as a blue barrier of energy shot out of the ground. Enlightment Paladin clashed against the barrier with his sword but was knocked away.

"Odd Eyes Soul Force's effect activates! By sending Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon to the graveyard, Enlightenment Paladin won't be destroyed!" Yuya countered.

"D-Damn it...!" Yuya said with a worried look on his face.

"HAHAHA! That expression of fear on your face! It's beautiful!" Sergey laughed.

"I...set a card facedown, turn end." Yuya concluded.

"Let's continue the fun! My turn! Battle! Geo Kraken, attack Enlightenment Paladin! Death Shock!" Sergey commanded as his kraken fired another blast of purple electricity.

"Trap Activate! Entermate Signal! When the opponent declares an attack, I can draw a card and send it to the graveyard. And if it's a monster, the attack is negated! I...draw!" Yuya shouted as he drew and held his card high in the air, creating suspense for the audience. "Hah! It's the monster card, Entermate Spingoose! So by sending it to the graveyard, the attack is negated!"

A red stop light appeared in front of Enlightment Paladin, causing the attack to dissipate.

"So you haven't given up? Good...I'll enjoy crushing all of the hope that you have left! Turn end!" Sergey shouted with a malicious smile.

"I won't give up yet! The fun has just begun! My turn! I activate the effect of Entermate Springoose in my graveyard! By banishing this card, I can return two cards on my field to my hand! I return Entermate Guitartle and Enlightenment Paladin!" Yuya explained as his two cards dissipated.

"Getting rid of the cards on your field? That's quite the gamble!" Melissa shouted.

"Yuya has to have a plan..." Crow said in a hopeful tone.

"A part of entertainment is taking big risks! But I trust that my cards will help me pull off a magnificent victory! With the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and the Scale 8 Odd Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon, I set the Pendulum Scale!"

"I tune my level 2 Shackled Interloper to my level 5 Stone Sweeper! Three headed demon with hungry fangs! Rise from the underworld and hunt your prey! Come forth! Level 7! Earthbound Servant - Geo Cerberus!" Sergey yelled as a black entity with three heads appeared. The four legged beast had three heads and indigo lines running through it's body.

"I fuse Stone Sweeper and Shackled Interloper! Prisoner that crawls across the earth! Become one with the prisoner that is trapped between realities and become the beast that devours the light! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Earthbound Servant - Geo Serpent!" Sergey yelled as a black entity in the shape of a serpent appeared. It had two extremely sharp fangs and green lines running through it's body.

"This will be fun! Geo Cerberus' effect activates! Once per turn, I can destroy Spell or Trap Cards on your field up to the amount of Earthbound monsters I control! Your Stargazer Magician in your Pendulum Zone is destroyed!" Sergey shouted. The beast let out a menacing roar which shattered the magician.

"Stargazer!" Yuya cried as one of his original Pendulum cards was destroyed.

"Also, Cerberus gains 600 ATK for every card that was destroyed until the end of the turn!"

"Battle! Geo Serpent, attack Odd Eyes Meteorburst Dragon!" Sergey commanded with a grin.

"Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon's effect activates! By using an overlay unit, the attack is negated! Blizzard Barrier-"

"At this moment, Geo Serpent's effect activates! Once per either player's Battle Phase, when the opponent activates a card effect, that effect is negated and that card is destroyed!" Sergey commanded. The serpent glared at the dragon with glowing green eyes, causing the dragon to cry out before exploding.

"Grr...Odd Eyes Absolute Dragon's other effect...since it was destroyed, I can special summon Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon from my graveyard!"

"Geo Serpent's attack continues! Sin Crunch!" Sergey shouted as the serpent wrapped it's body around the crimson dragon before biting into it, causing it to burst into particles.

"Geo Serpent's other effect activates! When one of your monsters are destroyed by an Earthbound monster, I gain 400 life points!" Sergey explained as he was enveloped in a green aura.

"Go, Geo Chimera! Attack Odd Eyes Vortex Dragon!Hunter's Fang!" Sergey commanded as the beast leaped forward and used it's multiple heads to bite into the dragon, causing it to explode.

"Ghh..." Yuya grunted.

"Geo Serpent's effect! I gain 400 life points since your monster was destroyed!" Sergey explained as he was enveloped in a green aura.

"How brutal! So cool!"

"This guy's style is awesome!"

"Damn it..." Yuya grunted as he heard the crowd praising Sergey. He was failing.

"I now end my turn!" Sergey concluded with a devious smile.

Cerberus (3300/1300)-(2700/1300)

"Hahaha! Destroying all of your hopes during this duel is turning out to be quite fun. Almost as fun as when I destroyed your pathetic teammate! The look on her face when she realized she couldn't win...how beautiful!" Sergey shouted, causing Yuya to grit his teeth in anger.

"How dare you...!" Yuya grunted.

"It was also extremely satisfying when I beat your friend Yugo senseless during our duel. His cries of pain brought a smile to my face." Sergey grinned.

"...You monster...!" Yuya uttered as he looked down, causing his visor to go dark.

"And after I crush you, I'll take plenty of enjoyment when I destroy my other target...Yuzu...I can already picture the look on her face when I crush her!" Sergey shouted while looking like a mad man.

"..." Yuya looked down, causing the top of his face to go dark. He wanted to spread smiles through his dueling. But it wasn't working. The crowd seemed to enjoy Sergey's dueling. And not only that, Sergey was proving to be a merciless monster who was hell bent on destroying him. And what was worse...he threatened Yuzu. How could he duel to entertain the crowd when this freak of nature was threatening his love in such a horrible way. Yuya could feel a ball of fire building up inside his body. And as much as he promised he wouldn't be consumed by his anger...as much as he wanted to be like his father...as much as he wanted to push down his negative emotions...

...he couldn't do it anymore.

"GRAAAAAH!" Yuya screamed as his eyes glowed brighter then ever before. His red eyes shined through his goggles as he looked at his opponent with an enraged look on his face.

"Yuya...no..." Serena uttered as her bracelet blinked.

"His anger has been unleashed. Now, all of that hard work he's done to try to win over the crowd will be abolished by his own rage. How poetic." Roget smiled.

"You talk a lot about how much you enjoy inflicting pain to others...so let's see how much you enjoy the pain that I'm going to make you feel!" Yuya shouted as he glared at his opponent with glowing red eyes.

"Yes! This will be a beautiful duel!" Sergey grinned.

"This duel...sure feels like it has taken a turn..." Melissa said before gulping.

"My...TURN!" Yuya roared as he violently drew. "I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards! Furthermore, I activate the Spell Card, Entermate Cast Change! I shuffle Entermate Guitartle and Entermate Silver Claw in my hand into my deck to draw three cards! With this, I will send you straight to hell!"

"Kid...what the hell happened to you...?" Crow uttered.

"With the Scale 3 Fate Magican and the Scale 8 Destiny Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya shouted as the magicians wielding a shield and a sword respectively appeared in the columns.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters with levels 4 through 8! Swing pendulums of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! From my hand, Entermate U-Golem! Wondrous and beautiful dragon with dichromatic eyes, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

Two bright lights shot out of the portal revealing the red dragon with red and green eyes along with a creepy fiend whose body looked like two u's put together.

I fuse Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Entermate U-Golem!" Yuya shouted as the two rose into the fusion vortex while his Extra Deck glowed.

"Could it be...a new Fusion monster...?" Serena gasped.

"Dragon with dichromatic eyes! Become one with the giant born from soil and revive as a new race! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth! Level 8! Entermate Gatlinghoul!" Yuya shouted. A green skinned fiend in a suit with yellow eyes and a top hat appeared. The fiend was holding a large gatling gun.

"What the hell...is that thing...?!"

"Entermate Gatlinghoul's effect activates! When this card is Fusion Summoned, it inflicts damage to my opponent equal to the amount of cards currently on the field times 200! There are 7 cards on the field! Therefore, you take 1400 damage!" Yuya angrily shouted as his monster fired multiple bullets directly at the Earthbound user. The bullets shot against the cyborg's back, causing him to grin.

SERGEY: 4200-2800 LP

"It's far from over! Gatlinghoul's effect activates! Since a level 5 or higher monster was used as a Fusion, material, Gatlinghoul's effect can destroy a monster on your field! Then, you take damage equal to it's ATK! Geo Cerberus will be destroyed and you take 2700 damage! KILL HIM!" Yuya shouted as his monster fired a barrage of bullets at the Synchro monster, causing a powerful explosion that consumed Sergey who was still grinning.

SERGEY: 2800-100 LP

"...What a powerful display...from Yuya Sakaki..." Melissa said in nervousness.

"This is the final attack! BATTLE! Gatlinghoul, attack Geo Serpent and send him straight to hell!HELLISH BARRAGE!" Yuya commanded as his monster fired a barrage of bullets at the serpent.

"I banish the Counter Trap, Earthbound Glyph Barrier to activate it's effect! I reduce the damage I would take from a battle involving an Earthbound monster to 0! Also, I can add an Earthbound card from my graveyard to my hand!" Sergey countered as he added Earthbound Salvation to his hand.

"You'll meet your end soon enough! I end my turn!" Yuya concluded.

"How brutal...Yuya Sakaki has inflicted 4100 damage in just one turn...bring Sergey down to only 100 life points...!" Melissa nervously said as the crowd cheered.

"This anger...this rage...is beautiful! Truly beautiful!" Sergey shouted like a mad man. "I will continue to make this duel beautiful! MY TURN!"

As Sergey grinned as he looked at the card he had drawn.

"It's time, Sergey. Unleash your full power and destroy that boy!" Roget shouted.

"With this, your fate is sealed! I activate the Field Spell, Earthbound Plain!" Sergey shouted as purple walls of energy appeared on the walls of the track.

"What is this?!" Melissa questioned.

"This card prevents us from controlling defense position monsters. Also, when players pick up an Action Card, they are allowed to add another to their hand and when a player adds an Action Card to their hand, the other player must send all Action Cards in their hand to the graveyard. Not only that, by banishing an Action Card in a player's hand, the opposing player takes 300 damage and a monster they control loses 300 ATK!" Sergey explained with a smirk.

"With only 100 life points left, you will lose once I get an Action Card!" Yuya yelled.

"HeheheHAHAHAHA!" Sergey maniacally laughed as his red eye glowed. He smashed his head on his D-Wheel, causing electricity to spark throughout it. A yellow net of energy wrapped around Sergey's body and his head, causing his helmet to be crushed. Sergey screamed in pain as he was as he was...swallowed whole...by his D-Wheel that began to change.

"W-W-What in the world is going on?!" Melissa shouted in fear.

The D-Wheel lifted itself up into the air while moving forward on one leg with a wheel on the bottom. The D-Wheel formed into a large mechanical body that had two long arms. The machine shot out half of Sergey's body, who was still screaming. The arms of the machine connected with Sergey arms, causing him to shout in pain. But Sergey was welcoming the pain.

"What the hell...is that thing..." Serena uttered in fear.

"How disgusting." Yuya spatted.

"Sergey Volkov...has somehow merged with his D-Wheel... unbelievable..." Melissa said in shock as the crowd roared in excitement.

"I am one with speed! I am the ultimate creation!" Sergey shouted before maniacally laughing.

"Yes! Do it, Sergey! Destroy him!" Roget maniacally shouted.

As Yuya looked in disgust, he noticed an Action Card ahead of him. He tried to drive forward and grab the card, but Sergey's mechanical arm swiped the card before he reached it.

"Grr..." Yuya grunted.

"Due to Earthbound Plain's effect, I banish this Action Card in my hand and you take 300 damage! Also, Gatlinghoul loses 300 ATK!" Sergey explained as the card dissolved into particles. Yuya was then shocked by purple electricity while his monster was weakened.

"That small damage is nothing!" Yuya growled.

"Luckily for me, there are plenty of Action Cards left! HAHAHAHA!" Sergey laughed like a mad man as he used his mechanical arms to propel himself forward. Sergey could see a trail of Action Cards coming up from ahead using his red mechanical eye.

Yuya tried to catch up, but Sergey was too far ahead and managed to grab an Action Card.

"HAHAHA! By banishing this card, you take 300 damage and your monster loses 300 ATK once more!"

Yuya glared at the Synchro monster for a moment before turning his head to the Fusion monster. He then looked at Sergey who was acting like he had already won.

"I won't lose to piece of scrap metal! Trap Activate! Entermate Turn! An Entermate monster on my field is switched to Defense Mode!" Yuya countered.

The entity smashed through the fiend, causing a powerful explosion.

"You still aren't safe! Go, Geo Gremlin! Attack him directly! DEMON SMASH!" Sergey yelled as the entity gathered blue energy in it's fist for slamming it's fist into Yuya, causing his D-Wheel to fly through the air.

"YUYA!" Serena and Crow cried as Yuya's D-Wheel flew through the air.

"I...will not die!" Yuya shouted as he tightly gripped his D-Wheel which landed on it's wheels.

"That sure was close..." Melissa sighed in relief as the crowd cheered.

"HAHAHA! Your tenacity is beautiful! I set a card facedown, turn end!" Sergey concluded.

The Academia duelist looked back and saw the Xyz user getting closer and closer to him.

Seeing as there was nowhere left to go, Yuri jumped down into an alley with Yuto following behind.

But before he could exit the alley, a white D-Wheel stopped in front of the opening.

"We got you now, grinning bastard!" Yugo angrily shouted.

"Nowhere left to run. This ends right now!" Yuto yelled.

Yuto and Yugo activated their duel disks in sync, causing Yuri to sinisterly grin.

"You two really think you are the ones in control? How amusing! If you really want to duel so badly, I'll be happy to turn you both into cards! Hahaha!" Yuri laughed as he activated his own duel disk.

"DUEL-"

Suddenly, the three growl in pain as an uncontrollable pain formed in their chest.

The sounds of their respective dragons roaring echoed throughout the night as their eyes shined.

"Draw an arc of light across the ether!" Yuri chanted.

"PENDULUM SUMMON!" The four shouted together.

"Come forth, my servants! From my Extra Deck, wondrous and beautiful dragon with dichromatic eyes, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his ace dragon with red and green eyes roared.

"Magician of Fate that watches over all life! Change the course of fate with your divine light! Fate Magician's Pendulum Effect! While I have two monsters with the same level, I can target one of the monsters and that monster is now treated as a tuner! I target Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuri shouted as the the magician threw it's green shield at the dragon which circled around it.

"Magician of Destiny that watches over countless souls! Swing your sword and carve a new Future! Destiny Magician's Pendulum Effect! I can target one level 5 or higher tuner monster and make it's level 1!" Yuto shouted as female magician created a purple star by slashing through the air. The star then turned into energy that was absorbed into Odd Eyes.

"The solid vision...it's somehow being amplified just like the previous duel..." One of Roget's scientist uttered in a worried tone.

"Sergey needs to end this soon..." Roget said in an irritated tone.

"Once per turn, I can target a monster on my opponent's field and all monsters on my opponent's field are destroyed! I target Geo Gremlin!" Yuya shouted as the dragon's wings began to shine.

"DICHROIC DESTRUCTION!" Yuya and Yugo roared as the dragon released a white hurricane of energy from it's wings.

The hurricane of energy completely consumed the two Earthbound monsters, causing a powerful explosion.

"Then, my monster gains the ATK of the targeted monster! Odd Eyes Wing Dragon gains Geo Gremlin's 2000 ATK!" Yugo shouted as the dragon's eyes glowed.

"Is it really over?" Melissa questioned.

"Go, Odd Eyes Wing Dragon!" Yuri began.

"Attack him directly! Tear him to shreds!" Yuto commanded.

"Storming Attack - STRIKE SLASHER!" Yuya and Yugo screamed in unison.

The dragon's crystal began glowing brightly causing the dragon to be surrounded by bright blue energy. The dragon whirled as it flew up in the air and then dove down at even higher speeds at the defenseless cyborg.

"HAHAHA! Earthbound Wall of Souls' effect in my graveyard activates! By banishing this card when I'm attacked directly, I can special summon all of the Earthbound monsters that were destroyed this turn with their effects negated! Also, they cannot be destroyed by battle this turn! Rise from the underworld, Earthbound Servant - Geo Gremlin! Earthbound Servant Geo Gremlina!" Sergey yelled as his two monster returned, blocking the attack.

As Yuya drew, he glared at the cards he had drawn before angrily looking back up at his opponent.

"Sergey! Finish this duel this turn! Do you hear me?! That's a direct order! END HIM!" Roget ordered.

Hearing his commands,Sergey's red eye began to shine as he placed his hand on top of his deck.

"I...WILL CRUSH YOU! My...TURN!" Sergey shouted as he violently drew.

The man viciously grinned as he glared at the card he had drawn. He looked up at Yuya with a crazed look on his face before holding the card he had drawn high in the air.

"THIS IS THE END! Quick Play Spell, Earthbound Fusion activate!" Sergey shouted with a malicious grin. "Since there is a face up Field Spell on the field, I can perform a Fusion Summon! I fuse Earthbound Servant - Geo Gremlin and Earthbound Servant - Geo Gremlina!"

"He's fusing his Synchro and Fusion monsters together?!" Crow shouted in a surprised tone.

"Demon that rules over the earth! Demon that clings to the land! Become one and rise from the depths of the underground! FUSION SUMMON! Appear! Level 10! Earthbound Servant - Geo Glasya-Labolas!" Sergey shouted as a large winged black entity appeared on the field. The beast had long red horns on it's head and long red claws. The beast had glowing red lines running through it's body. It let a out a powerful roar as it flew behind Sergey and stared down Yuya.

"HAHAHA! Truly beautiful!" Sergey laughed before continuing his move. "BATTLE! Geo Glasya-Labolas, attack Odd Eyes Wing Dragon!"

The winged beast began to roar, causing smoke to form on the field.

"What the hell?!" Yuya growled.

"At this moment, Geo Glasya-Labolas' effect activates! When this card battles a Fusion or Synchro monster, the ATK of that monster becomes 0!" Sergey grinned as the smoke consumed the Supreme King White Dragon.

"You can't escape defeat! Go, DARKNESS MIASMA!" Sergey shouted as his monster fired a purple blast of miasma at the white dragon.

"Entermate Barrier Balloon Tapir's effect activates! By discarding this card, the damage is reduced to 0!" Yuya countered as a barrier protected him while his dragon was obliterated.

"...There it is!" Sergey grinned as he spotted an upcoming Action Card. "This is my victory!"

Sergey used his mechanical arms to propelhimself forward. He swiped the Action Card off of the track andlooked back at Yuya with a maniacal look on his face.

"HAHAHAHA! Due to Earthbound Plain's effect, I banish this Action Card in my hand to deal you 300 damage! THIS DUEL IS OVER!" Sergey shouted like a mad man.

"Yuya has no set cards and only 100 life points...!" Serena uttered in disbelief.

"FINISH IT!" Roget screamed.

"Entermate Odd Eyes Savior's effect activates! By discarding this card, an effect that would inflict damage to me is negated!" Yuya countered as he discarded a knight with red and green eyes.

"Eh?!" Sergey gasped, showing shock for the first time in the duel.

"Damn that boy!" Roget grunted in anger.

"I end my turn!" Sergey shouted.

"Wow! Yuya Sakaki managed to hang on for his life by using the effects of two monsters from his hand!This duel is off the charts!" Melissa shouted

"Then, I can draw a card for each card returned to my hand! I draw two cards!" Yuya shouted as he violently drew. "Next, I activate the Spell Card, Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then I discard Fate Magician and Destiny Magician!"

"With the Scale 3 Xiangke Magician..." Yuri began.

"...and the Scale 8 Xiansheng Magician..." Yuto continued.

"I SET THE PENDULUM SCALE!" Yuya roared as he slammed the two magicians onto his duel disk. The blue and red magicians both appeared in the blue columns.

Yuri shouted as blue energy shot out of the magician's weapon and surrounded the Xyz dragon.

"Magician of creation that watches over harmony, fill the heavens with star using your arcane power! Xiangshe Magicians' effect! The female magician fired a bow that created a red energy field around both monsters when it the field.

"Dragon with dual colored eyes! Eradicate all enemies that opose you with your black scale of wrath! XYZ SUMMON! Come forth! Rank 7! Dragon with Eyes of Rage! Supreme King Black Dragon - Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon!" Yuya and Yuto shouted as the red and green eyed hybrid dragon with pitch black armor and two fangs appeared.

As the dragon appeared, a powerful wave of darkness hit the field, causing Sergey to slightly lose his balance.

"RAAAAH! Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon's effect activates! When this card is summoned with an Xyz monster treated as a level 7 monster, all level 7 or lower monster on your field are destroyed and you take damage equal to their ATK!" Yuya viciously shouted.

"So that's why he changed Sergey's monster to level 7...!" Melissa realized.

"I can't be...defeated in such a way...!" Sergey uttered as his eyes widened in fear.

"Eradicate that abomination!" Yuri shouted.

"OVERLORD HOWLING!" Yuya violently commanded as his dragon roared, releasing a powerful wave of dark energy.

"...HeheheHAHAHAHA! This beautiful duel must go on! Earthbound Prisoner - Trapped Voyager's effect activates in my hand! By discarding this card, Earthbound monsters can't be destroyed this turn!" Sergey shouted like a mad man as a barrier protected his monster.

"Damn it!" Yuya grunted.

"He survived..." Crow uttered in disbelief.

"I set two cards facedown, turn end!" Yuya begrudgingly concluded.

"The power that you possess...is beautiful! Truly beautiful! I will enjoy crushing you with all of my power! MY TURN!" Sergey shouted as he drew while his red eye shined. The cyborg spotted an Action Card up ahead and grinned.

"This duel has come down to a race! Whoever gets the Action Card will inflict 300 damage and win the duel! Who will get the card?!" Melissa questioned as the crowd roared.

"I won't let you!" Yuya shouted as he sped forward, trying to catch up to his opponent. Yuya pushed his D-Wheel to it's limits, allowing himself to almost catch up with the cyborg.

"Eh?!" Melissa gasped.

"NO!" Crow shouted in a horrified tone.

"YUYA!" Serena cried in sadness.

"GRAAAAH! Trap Activate! Pendulum Reborn! Now I can special summon a Pendulum monster from my graveyard or Extra Deck! Revive, Supreme King White Dragon - Odd Eyes Wing Dragon!"

"I won't let you! Action Spell, Crush Action activate!" Yuya shouted as one of his facedown cards flipped up. "This card destroys any Action Card added to a player's hand during this turn!Meaning, you won't get the chance touse Earthbound Plain's effect!"

Before Sergey could react, the Action Spell bursted into particles.

"He used the card I left for him!" Serena realized.

"Y-You...!" Sergey grunted as his head began to spark.

"Sir!" One of the scientist yelled to get Roget's attention. He looked and saw multiple error signs on the screens, signifying they had lost control over Sergey.

The light expanded and began to take the shape of a gigantic black entity. The entity had a muscular body with two arms and two legs and stood over the track. The monster had multiple colorful markings across it's body. The entity let out a powerful roar as the track shook.

"YUYA!" Serena and Crow cried.

The gigantic fist demolished the Supreme King Black Dragon. Yuya barely managed to speed up in time to dodge the fist before it crushed him. The strength of the monster's ATK left a gigantic whole in the track behind the two.

"Tch...Odd Eyes Rebellion's effect activates! When this card is destroyed, I can destroy all cards in my Pendulum Zones! Then, I can place this card in an empty Pendulum Zone!" Yuya shouted as the two magicians bursted into particles while the black dragon appeared in the column.

"This guy puts Shun Kurosaki's destructive power to shame..." Melissa commented as sweat formed on her forehead.

"If another attack like that connects...Yuya will be killed..." Serena's eyes widened in horror.

"Don't worry. That definitely won't happen! Yuya will survive!" Crow reassured his teammate.

"It's not over! Go, Geo Glasya-Labolas! Attack Odd Eyes Wing Dragon! DARKNESS MIASMA!" Sergey commanded as his monster fired a blast of dark mist at the white dragon.

"If this attack hits, both monsters will be destroyed! Then, Sergey can use one of his monsters to attack directly and win!" Melissa commented.

"HAHAHA! I've won!" Sergey grinned.

"I...refuse! Entermate Pendulum Guardian's effect activates in my hand! By discarding this card, I can negate the destruction of a Pendulum monster!" Yuya countered as a warrior clad in red appeared with a blue shield with the image of Yuya's Pendulum on it. The warrior five in front of the white dragon and protected from the dark mist.

"That means only Geo Glasya-Labolas will be destroyed!" Crow cheered.

"Counterattack, Storming Attack - STRIKE SLASHER!" Yuya shouted as his monster surrounded itself in blue energy before flying forward at incredibly high speeds, driving through the fiend.

"When a monster that was summoned through Geo Overlord's effect leaves the field, that monster is banished. At this moment, since an Earthbound monster left the field, Geo Overlord loses 1000 ATK." Sergey explained.

"Tch...now that the Battle Phase is over, I activate the Spell Card, Earthbound Gathering! Since I control three or more Earthbound monsters, I draw three cards!" Sergey shouted as he drew. "I will enjoy savoring my victory! I set a card facedown, turn end!" Sergey grinned.

"I will...DESTROY YOU! MY TURN, DRAW!" Yuya shouted as he violently drew. "This is the end! Odd Eyes Wing Dragon's effect activates! I target Geo Overlord and all monsters on your field are destroyed! Then, Odd Eyes Wing Dragon gains Geo Overlord's 4000 ATK! DICHROIC DESTRUCTION!"

"That won't work! Continuous Trap, Earthbound Reign! While this card is on the field, Earthbound monsters can't be destroyed by card effects!" Sergey countered.

"At this moment, Odd Eyes Wing Dragon's other effect activates! Once per turn, a monster on my opponent's field has it's effects negated as long as this card is on the field! Geo Overlord's effects are negated! Go, Shinning Supremacy!" Yuya shouted as he pointed up in the air at his dragon. The dragon flew forward and shot a powerful blue binding light from it's crystal's on it's body.

"By negating it's effects, Geo Overlord's ATK will become 0! That means Yuya Sakaki can deal 3000 damage by attacking with Odd Eyes Wing Dragon and win!" Melissa shouted.

"Do you really...THINK IT WILL BE THAT EASY?!" Sergey questioned with a devious smirk.

"What?!"

"Geo Overlord's effect! As long as I control other Earthbound monsters, this card is unaffected by my opponent's card effects!" Sergey explained as the light bounced off of the Earthbound's body.

"This can't be..." Serena uttered.

"At this rate, Yuya will...!" Crow said in disbelief.

"HAHAHA! That was your only chance! And you failed!"

"Damn it...I can't lose...I will destroy everything with my absolute power...AND REIGN SUPREME!" Yuya shouted in anger as his eyes began to glow brighter then before.

"Y-Yuya...!" Serena stuttered in a terrified tone.

"GRAAAAAAAH!" Yuya screamed as his eyes burned bright and his dark aura strengthened.

"GRAAAAAAAH!" Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri roared in response.

As Yuya was covered in a dark aura, his visioned blacked out.

When he opened his eyes, he was in a black void once more.

In front of him was a pitch-black shadow with spiky hair and yellow eyes that he had seen before.

"It's you..." Yuya uttered.

"You have established a connection with two of your counterparts." The shadow said as he pointed behind Yuya.

The boy turned around to see Yuto and Yugostanding behind himin their berserk forms.

"Currently, the connection you share with them is like a pendulum that doesn't swing." The shadow explained.

Yuya looked up and saw alarge pendulumin the middle of the three.

"You have the power to control which way the pendulum swings. You can make the pendulum sway towards yourself, granting you unfathomable power." The shadow told the boy.

"But what about Yuto and Yugo-"

The shadow reached out towards Yuya and grabbed his the Pendulum hanging from his neck, causing it to shine.

"Take the power that is rightfully yours! Channel your anger and despair and turn it into power! Win at all costs and destroy everything!"

The Pendulum shined, causing Yuya to snap back to reality.

"HAHAHA! Your anger is beautiful!" Sergey grinned.

"I have to win...no matter what...no matter who I hurt!" Yuya begrudgingly shouted as he reached he grabbed his Pendulum. As Yuya blinked, he could see Yugo in front of him with a Pendulum in the middle of the two like before. Yuya reached out to Yugo, causing the Pendulum to swing in Yuya's direction.

"GRAH!" Yugo screamed in pain. Yugo dropped to the ground as his eyes blinked from glowing to their normal color, almost as if his power was being drained.

Suddenly, Yuya's left eye gained a turquoise glow while his right eye continued to glow red.

"Using my supreme power...I WILL DESTROY THIS WORLD!" Yuya shouted with dual colored eyes.

"His eyes...!" Serena uttered.

"Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon's Pendulum effect activates! Once per turn, I can set a card from my deck into an empty Pendulum Zone!" Yuto shouted as a card popped out of Yuya's deck.

"With the Scale 8 Odd Eyes Clear Magician..." Yugo uttered in a pained tone as he gripped his chest in pain.

"...I SET THE PENDULUM SCALE!" Yuya shouted as a red and green eyed magician in white and blue robes appeared in the column. The magician also carried a staff with a sharp green blade at the top, similar to Clear Wing's sharp prismatic wings.

Odd Eyes Rebellion 4 - 8 Clear Magician

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters with levels 5 through 7!" Yuri shouted.

"PENDULUM SUMMON! Return from the Extra Deck, my almighty servant! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his ace returned.

Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) LVL: 7

"Odd Eyes Clear Magician's Pendulum effect activates!" Yuya yelled.

"I can target a dragon-type monster on the field and change it's level to 1!" Yuri shouted.

"Also, that monster becomes a tuner monster!" Yuto shouted.

"I change Odd Eyes Wing Dragon to a level 1 tuner monster...!" Yugo painfully shouted.

"Do it, Odd Eyes Clear Magician!" Yuya roared. The magician pointed it's prismatic blade at the dragon and fired a beautiful green beam of energy. The energy was absorbed into the dragon, giving it a powerful green aura.

"He turned his monster...into a Synchro tuner...?!" Melissa shouted in disbelief.

"C'mon, Yuya Sakaki! Show me the full extent of your anger! That will make it much more satisfying when I crush you and the ones you love!" Sergey shouted with a sinister smile.

"I will destroy you...I will reduce you to nothing...I WILL ERADICATE YOU FROM THIS WORLD!" Yuya shouted with rage in his dual coloredeyes.

"...I tune my level 1 Odd Eyes Wing Dragon..." Yugo uttered as the hybrid dragon turned into a single green ring.

"...TO MY LEVEL 7 ODD EYES PENDULUM DRAGON!" Yuya screamed as his eyes shined brightly while the green ring flew around his red dragon.

"Dragon with dual colored eyes! Dye your wings in the depths of the hopelessness and return all things to the void! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Come forth! Level 8! The forsaken dragon who heralds ruination! Supreme King Despair Dragon - ODD EYES EXTINCTION DRAGON!"

In a large flash of dark light, a new menacing dragon appeared beside Yuya. The dragon had red scales that were covered by ghostly white armor. The dragon had six crystalline wings that gave off dark turquoise light. The dragon's crystal wings were extremely sharp and jaded, with multiple cracks on their surfaces. The dragon had muscular arms and deadly sharp claws. Like the Synchro Dragons, the dragon had a large tail covered in white armor for it's lower body. But, the tail had a large prismatic blade at the end. The dragon had a sinister green orb in the middle of it's body that acted like void, consuming the light around the dragon. The dragon's red and green eyes shined through the darkness as it maliciously roared.

Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon (3000/2500) LVL: 8

"A-Amazing! Yuya Sakaki has summoned another Synchro Pendulum monster! And it's even much more terrifying then his other one..." Melissa said in awe.

"With this power...I WILL ERASE YOU FROM THIS WORLD! Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon's effect activates! When this card is Synchro Summoned...ALL SPELLS AND TRAPS ON YOUR FIELD ARE DESTROYED!"

"Grr...Earthbound Reign can't be destroyed as long as I control an Earthbound monster that was special summoned from the Extra Deck!" Sergey shouted.

"But your Field Spell is still destroyed! DICHROIC SHATTER!" Yuya roared as a powerful hurricane of wind destroyed the Continuous Spell.

"RAAAAH! BATTLE! Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon, attack Earthbound Servant - Geo Serpent!" Yuya commanded.

"Due to Geo Overlord's effect, any damage I would take from battles involving other Earthbound monsters on my field are reduced to 0!" Sergey exclaimed.

"THAT WON'T SAVE YOU! Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon's effect activates! When this card attacks a monster, my opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters on your field!" Yuya explained.

"W-What?!" Sergey shouted in shock.

"GO, ODD EYES EXTINCTION DRAGON! CALAMITY VOID BREAK!" Yuya screamed. The dragon roared as it's wings began absorbing the light around it, similarly to a black hole, causing it to gain a sinisterly dark aura. The dragon flew forward at incredibly fast speeds, slicing through the Earthbound with it's shark and jaded crystalline wings.

"At this moment, the destroyed monster is banished and Geo Overlord loses 1000 ATK." Sergey explained.

"That's all you could do? On my next turn, I'll take enjoyment in crushing you!" Sergey grinned.

"I...WILL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU GET THE CHANCE! At this moment, Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon's effect activates! When this card destroys a monster by battle, it gains the destroyed monster's ATK! DRAINING MIRROR!" Yuya shouted as the dragon's eyes glowed while it's wings began to absorb the remaining particles of the destroyed monster, causing the green orb in it's core to gain a grin glow.

"It's not over! Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon's other effect! After this card destroys a monsters by battle...IT CAN ATTACK AGAIN!" Yuya shouted as his dual colored eyes vibrantly shined while his dragon screeched.

"Another attack? Amazing...!" Melissa said in awe.

"Grr..." Sergey grunted.

"DO IT, ODD EYES EXTINCTION DRAGON! ATTACK EARTHBOUND SERVANT - GEO CERBERUS!CALAMITY VOID BREAK!"

The dragon absorbed the light around it, causing it to gain an even more powerful dark aura. The dragon screeched as it flew even faster at the Earthbound.

"I banish the Earthbound Prisoner - Trapped Voyager in my graveyard to use it's effect! The damage I would take from a battle involving an Earthbound monster is halved!"

The dragon's crystalline wing easily cut through the middle of the Earthbound, causing a powerful explosion the shook through the cyborg's D-Wheel.

"11100 ATK...that's unheard of...!" Melissa said in awe as the crowd roared.

"This power...it's beautiful!" Sergey exclaimed before maniacally laughing.

"Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon..." Yugo uttered.

"ATTACK EARTHBOUND DEITY - GEO OVERLORD!" Yuto shouted.

"SHOW NO MERCY!" Yuri shouted.

"CALAMITY VOID BREAK!" Yuya roared. After absorbing the light around it, the dragon became consumed in dark energy before flying towards the almighty Earthbound.

"SERGEY! You can still get an Action Card!" Roget yelled.

"I...WILL NOT LET THIS BEAUTIFUL DUEL END!" Sergey roared as he propelled himself forward at incredible speeds.

"Sir, there are no Action Cards in Sergey's path!" One of the scientists shouted.

"Change the course from Lane D-209 to Lane B-046! DO IT NOW!" Roget commanded his subordinate.

Suddenly, the track shifted to right. Sergey grinned before driving his metal arm into the ground, allowing himself to make a sharp right turn while grabbing an Action Card.

"HAH! Action Spell, Evasion! The attack is negated! HAHAHAHA!" Sergey laughed.

"You...bastard...!" Yuya growled. "This duel will be over soon enough...I set a card facedown...TURN END!"

The monster raised it's giant fist above the dragon before lunging downward at the Extinction Dragon and Yuya.

"KID!" Crow yelled.

"YUYA!" Serena cried.

"GRAAAAH! Counter Trap, Supreme King Barrier activate! While I control adragon-type monster, an instance of battle or effect damage is reduced to 0!" Yuya shouted as a yellow barrier formed around him.

"BUT YOU WILL STILL DIE!" Sergey shouted as the monster's fist crushed the dragon, causing the ground beneath Yuya to collapse. Yuya tried to drive onto the stable ground, but was unable to escape the collapsing track.

"Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon's effect activates! When this card is destroyed, I can special summon all monsters from my Pendulum Zones! Come forth, Supreme King Black Dragon - Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon! The tuner monster, Odd Eyes Clear Magician!" Yuya shouted as the two monsters jumped out of the blue columns.

As Yuya's D-Wheel fell towards the water beneath the track, the Supreme King Black Dragon let out a powerful roar of black energy that destroyed the rubble around the boy. The dragon dove downwards and grabbed Yuya's D-Wheel.

"Then, Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon is placed in the Pendulum Zone!" Yuya shouted as the dragon appeared in the blue column.

"Thank god..." Crow uttered as him and Serena sighed in relief.

"That's twice you tried to kill me...AND TWICE YOU FAILED!" Yuya shouted as his eye returned to it's glowing red color.

"You won't get lucky like that again! My attack isn't over! Geo Gremlin, attack Odd Eyes Clear Magician! him directly! DEMON SMASH!" Sergey yelled as the entity gathered blue energy in it's fist for slamming it's fist into the magician, causing it to burst.

"The rest of your monsters are nothing compared to my dragon!" Yuya shouted.

"You think you are safe? How naive! Geo Gryphon, attack Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon! UNDERWORLD CANNON!" Sergey commanded as his monster fired a purple and yellow blast at the dragon.

"COUNTERATTACK! REBELLIOUS WRATH STRIKE DISOBEY!" Yuya shouted as his dragon drove it's fangs into the ground and flew forward, driving through the purple and yellow blast. Once it got close enough, the dragon drove it's fangs upwards and through the Earthbound monster, causing a powerful explosion.

"HAHAHA! Geo Gryphon's effect activates! When this card or another Earthbound monster is destroyed...I CAN TARGET AND DESTROY A MONSTER ON THE FIELD! I TARGET ODD EYES REBELLION DRAGON! THIS IS THE END!" Sergey shouted as the ghost of his monster appeared and rushed at the black dragon.

"If this connects, Sergey will be able to attack directly with Geo Gremlina and win!" Roget smiled.

"GRAAAH! Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon's Pendulum Effect! Dragon-type Pendulum monsters cannot be destroyed by my opponent's card effects!"

"WHAT?!" Sergey shouted in anger.

"He survived the turn...!" Crow uttered in a relieved tone.

"But Yuya's condition...he can't last much longer..." Serena noticed.

"C'mon kid! Don't give up!" Crow encouragingly shouted.

"...heh...heh...heh..." Yuya gasped for air as he glared at his opponent. He could feel a powerful strain on his body, but he couldn't give up. He was determined to eradicate the cyborg...any means necessary.

"Don't worry, you won't be alone in the afterlife for long. Your other friends will be joining you soon enough once I get my hands on them! HAHAHAHA!" Sergey laughed.

"...What the hell...did you just say...?!" Yuya's body began shaking as he heard the cyborg's words.

"That expression! It's priceless! Now...TAKE YOUR FINAL TURN BEFORE I CRUSH YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL! TURN END!" Sergey concluded with a grin.

"You...really think...I will let you...get away with those words...?!" Yuya struggled to say as he grabbed his pendulum and the dark aura overtook him. Yuya's vision began to go dark as he saw Yuto in front of him with a pendulum in between them. Yuya reach out to Yuto, causing the Pendulum to swing in Yuya's direction.

"GRAH!" Yuto screamed in agony. Yuto dropped to the floor as his eyes blinked from glowing to their normal color, similarly to Yugo.

"GRAAAAAAH!" Yuya roared into the night sky. The boy's left eye gained a dark blue glow while his right eye continued to glow red.

"Just like before..." Serena uttered in a fearful tone.

"With every fiber of my being...I will put you down...NO MATTER WHAT!" Yuya shouted with dual colored eyes as he placed his hand on his deck.

"Oh? You truly think you stand a chance with the field I have built? Due to Earthbound Reign, you can't destroy my Earthbound monsters by card effects! Not to mention, Geo Overlord is unaffected by card effects while I control other Earthbound monsters and reduces any damage I would take from battles involving other Earthbound monsters to 0! YOU HAVE NO CHANCE! HAHAHA!" Sergey devilishly laughed.

"You act all high and mighty...but compared to the Supreme King...YOU ARE NOTHING BUT AN INSECT! MY...TURN!" Yuya shouted as he violently drew while his dark aura formed into a large dragon with glowing yellow eyes for a split second.

"Ghh..." Sergey grunted, showing a bit of nervousness for the first time in the duel.

"N-No...!" Serena uttered as her eyes widened in horror. She didn't know what it was, but all she could feel is terror when she looked at Yuya.

"With the Scale 1 Odd Eyes Rebellious Magician..." Yuto uttered through the pain.

"I SET THE PENDULUM SCALE!" Yuya screamed as he slammed the card onto his duel disk. In the blue column in the sky, a magician clad in black and purple that had green and red eyes appeared. The magician also carried a black scepter with a purple orb at the top which was identical to the orbs on Dark Rebellion's wings.

"With this I can simultaneously monsters with levels 2 through 10!" Yuri shouted.

"Swing Pendulum of my soul..." Yuto painfully uttered.

"Draw an arc of light across the ether..." Yugo weakly chanted.

"PENDULUM SUMMON! Return from the Extra Deck once more, my almighty servant! Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as his ace returned beside the black dragon.

"That dragon again? No how matter how many times you resurrect that useless dragon, you won't be able to beat me! In the end...YOU WILL BE A CORPSE!" Sergey shouted like a mad man.

"GRAAAAH! The Supreme King's power is unmatched! I will show you my dragon's true potential right now! Odd Eyes Rebellious Magician's effect activates!Once per turn, I can target a dragon-type Xyz monsteron my field and for the rest of the turn, it is treated as having the level of another dragon-type monster on the field! I target Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragonand it's treated as a level 7 monster like Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya shouted as the magician released purple electricity from the orb on it's scepter which engulfed the black dragon.

"The time has finally come...FOR YOU TO BURN IN HELL!" Yuya roared as his eyes glowed.

"Now...I overlay the level 7 Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon..." Yuto grunted as the hybrid dragon turned into dark energy.

"AND MY LEVEL 7 ODD EYES PENDULUM DRAGON!" Yuya screamed as his ace also turned into dark energy.

The dark energy flew into the air and into the overlay network. A blast of red energy that erupted from the overlay network as Yuya's eyes shined brighter then ever before.

"Dragon with dual-colored eyes! Resurrect from the deep darkness and incinerate everything on the earth with the flames of rage! XYZ SUMMON! Come forth, Rank 7! The blazing dragon called by calamity! Supreme King Violent Dragon – ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON!"

Out of a burst of raging flames, the new burning dragon arrived. The dragon had piercing red and green eyes. It had crimson red and black armored scales with black wings that had 10 orange flames protruding out of them. The dragon had grey claws and a single red and green orbs on it's wings. It had a blue orb in the middle of it's body. The dragon roared ferociously causing everyone to look in a mix of fear and awe.

"Odd Eyes Raging Dragon's effect activates! By using both overlay units, all other cards the field are destroyed! Also, Odd Eyes Raging Dragon gains 200 ATK points for each card!" Yuya shouted as his dragon crushed the two overlay unites in it's hands. The dragon roared ferociously as the flames on it's wings bursted outwards.

"Have you forgotten? Earthbound Reign will protect my Earthbound monsters from destruction through card effects-"

"ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON'S EFFECT NEGATES THE EFFECTS OF ALL SPELLS AND TRAPS ON THE FIELD!" Yuya screamed, causing Sergey to gasp in shock.

"Tch...Geo Overlord is still unaffected by card effects!" Sergey shouted.

"BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS DESTROYED! BURN EVERYTHING TO ASHES, ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON! BURNING DECIMATION!" Yuya roared as Yuya's two Pendulum cards, Sergey's two Earthbound monsters, and Sergey's Continuous Trap were all incinerated.

"GRAAAH!" Sergey shouted as some of the fire hit one of his mechanical arms, completely melting it off.

"How vicious..." Melissa said while at a complete loss for words.

"And since five cards were destroyed...ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON GAINS 1000 ATK!" Yuya yelled as his dragon roared while powering up.

Odd Eyes Raging (3000/2500)-(4000/2500)

"And due to your monster's effect, it's ATK becomes 1000 since it's the only Earthbound monster on your field!" Yuya sadistically shouted as the Earthbound Deity was severely weakened.

Geo Overlord (3000/0)-(1000/0)

"This can't be...there's no way...Sergey can beoverpowered in such a way...!" Roget uttered In disbelief.

"Your time...HAS FINALLY COME! PREPARE TO BURN IN HELL! BATTLE! ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON, ATTACK EARTHBOUND DEITY - GEO OVERLORD! DESTRUCTION FURY BURST!"

As the dragon powerfully roared, the flames on it's wings grew even brighter, causing the track to ignite in flames. As the dragon cocked it's head backwards, a large circle of azure flames formed in front of the dragon. The dragon whipped it's head forward and fired a powerful blast of orange flames into the circle, creating a powerful burst of purple and orange.

"Sir, there is still an Action Card left on Lane G-462!" A scientist told Roget.

"What are you waiting for?! Switch to that lane!" Roget demanded. "SERGEY! GRAB THAT ACTION CARD NOW!"

"I REFUSE TO DIE AGAIN! I WILL SURVIVE!"

As the track shifted once more, Sergey used his remaining mechanical arm to make another sharp turn like before. This pushed the arm to it's limits, causing it to shatter.

Out of desperation, Sergey used his actual arm to reach down and barely grab the Action Card as the powerful blast of flames obliterated his monster. At that moment, Sergey was consumed in a powerful explosion which left the field covered in smoke.

SERGEY: 2650-3150-150 LP

"Sergey Volkov...survived?!" Melissa shouted in shock.

"I activated the Action Spell...Energy Mate...which allowed me to gain 500 life points and survive..." Sergey explained with a devious grin on his face.

"No way!" Crow shouted as his eyes widened.

"It can't be...!" Serena uttered in disbelief.

"..." Yuya didn't say a word and looked down, seemingly in defeat.

"HAHAHAHA! Once again, you failed to defeat me! And on my next turn, I'll-"

"THERE WON'T BE A NEXT TURN! ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON CAN ATTACK TWICE PER TURN!" Yuya roared in anger as he looked up with burning eyes. But strangely, his eyes had a somewhat yellow glow before flashing back to blue and red.

"T-Those eyes...!" Serena choked on her words as the feeling in her gut got even worse. It was almost as if something inside of her was reacting to what Yuya was going through.

"T-Two attacks...this isn't possible...!" Roget stuttered as his eyes twitched in a mix of anger and fear.

"A-Am I...going to...?" Sergey wasn't able to finish his sentence as electricity sparked from his head and his eyes rolled back into his head.

ERROR

The sudden realization quite literally broke the cyborg.

"NOW DIE! ODD EYES RAGING DRAGON, DIRECT ATTACK! DESTRUCTION FURY BURST!"

The dragon's roar echoed throughout the night before firing another powerful wave of purple and orange flames at the defenseless and beaten cyborg.

"...This duel...was beautiful..." Sergey uttered as the destructive blast of flames scorched his body and knocked him off the track. The robot let out one final sadistic laugh as he fell.

SERGEY: 150-0 LP

WINNER: Team United Hope

"W-We have a winner! With Yuya Sakaki's victory, Team U-United Hope has w-won!" Melissa nervously shouted as the crowd remained silent for a moment.

For a split second, the crowd was in shock due to witnessing Yuya's monstrous final move. But suddenly, the crowd began to cheerfully shout and scream due to the violence displayed in the duel being extremely entertaining to them

"That was crazy! I was on the edge of my seat!"

"Yuya Sakaki is so vicious! I love it!"

"That last attack was so cool! He sent that guy flying!"

As the solid vision turned off, the red dragon let out one final roar before fading away while Yuya's left eye lost it's blue color.

Still in his berserk state, Yuya parked his D-Wheel for a brief moment and slowly walked over to the where he had launched Sergey off of the track.

Suddenly, Yuya's expression changed from enraged to something...darker.

The boy thought about his opponent's expression before he was put him down... which gave him enjoyment.

His ears were drowned out by the sounds of the crowd cheering for the boy's violent display of power...causing his mouth to form into a sinister smile.

"Good riddance..." Yuya viciously spoke as his eyes flashed yellow for a brief second.

Suddenly, the boy felt a tear slide down his cheek. The boy felt his wet face and looked at his hand while his eyes shifted back to their normal color.

Yuya's dark aura has completely subsided and his grin changed to a purely horrified gasp. The boy's eyes widened in terror as he covered his face with his hands.

"...What have...I done...?!"

With Yuri

As the purple and pink haired boy snapped back to reality, he blinked a few times and looked around at his surroundings.

He saw his two counterparts kneeling down, gasping for air.

"Ifeel like I was dueling just now...was I beating the crap out of you two or something?" Yuri playfully asked the two boys that were surrounding himin the alleyway.

"...In...your...dreams..." Yugo pantedas rose to his feet.

"You two are in horrible condition.And yet you still aren't backing down? Interesting." Yuri smirked.

"I'll never give up...I'll do anything to find Ruri!" Yuto weakily declared as he forced himself upwards.

"Anything, eh? Lets make a deal, shall we? If you give me the locations ofSerena and Yuzu Hiragi, I'll give you Rin and Ruri Kurosaki in exchange." Yurioffered.

Yuto and Yugo stayed quiet for a moment as they thought about their respective girls.

"...Absolutely not! Yuzu is like a sister to me...and Serena was wrongfully imprisoned her whole life! There is no way in hell I would just sell them out like that!" Yugo yelled.

Yuri's eyes twitched as he heard the boy's comment about Serena. He then looked at Yuto, who was still shamefully remaining silent.

Yuto clenched his chest as he thought about all of his choices, the good and the bad, that have lead him to this moment. Everything he has donewas for the sole purpose of saving his love...and he was being offered the chance to finally complete his mission.But was what he declared before about doing anything to save Ruri really true? Would he really go as low as selling out hisfriendsin order to save her?

Theboy's eyes then twitched as he thought about his similar encounter with Roget. The boy shook his head and menacingly glared at the Fusion user.

"You bastard...you really think I would fall for such a lie?There's no way in hell you would just hand them overlike that!" Yuto growled.

"Guilty as charged. You continue to impress me, Yuto." Yurigrinned at the boy. "You know, dueto your weak states, I could card the both of you right now and get this all over with. But to be honest, I've been itching for a rematch ever since our duel back in Standard."

"Hey, what about me?!" Yugo questioned, not liking the fact that he was being ignored.

"I wasn't too interested in you, Fusion.But after seeing your last match, you've gotten me intrigued~" Yuri grinned, causingsweat to form on Yugo's forehead.

"This is your last chance. Give us back Ruri and Rin, or we'll make you pay!" Yuto warned.

"Oh no, what ever will I do? Oh, I know!" Yuriplayfully said as he activated his duel disk. "I activate the Spell Card, Violet Flash!"

"What are you-" Yugo beganas the alley was consumed by a bright violet light. Yuto instinctively dove forward, but the boy teleported away.

"Damn!" Yuto cursed as he punched the ground.

"Yuto...just now...were you really considering selling out Serena and Yuzu?!" Yugo angrily questioned.

Yuto remained silentas he walked past Yugo and sat on the back of his D-Wheel.

"I can still faintly sense him. We need to find himbefore he finds Yuzu or Serena." Yuto explained.

"Tch..." Yugo clicked his tongue as he got back on his D-Wheel and drove off.

Back at the Stadium

"H-He won..." Crow said in a mixed tone. He was happy that his teammate won the match, but he felt that the way Yuya defeated his opponent was far from honorable.

"..." Serena remained silent and couldn't shake the terrible feeling in her gut.

Crow looked up to see Yuya finally making his way back into the stadium.

"Yuya!" Crow shouted as he ran towards his teammate while Serena slowly walked behind him.

Yuya parked his D-Wheel and slowly got off of it. The boy took his helmet off his head and dropped it on the ground. He removed his goggles from his eyes which caused his tears to fall out and hit the ground.

Seeing this, Crow carefully approached his fragile teammate.

"Kid...you ok?" Crow asked as he walked towards the boy.

"..." The boy didn't respond.

"YUYA! YUYA! YUYA!"

As Yuya heard the crowd cheering for him, he dropped to his knees and punched the ground.

"Yuya..." Crow uttered as he knelt down to Yuya's level.

"I-I...killed someone, Crow...I abandoned my dueling...and killed my opponent...I'm a monster...!" Yuya choked on his words as tears rolled down his face.

"Kid...we'll get through this, I promise..." Crow tried reassuring the boy. He put his hand on the Yuya's shoulder, causing him to look up. Crow extended his hand out the boy.

As Serena walked up to the two, she saw Crow pull Yuya off of the ground. As Yuya got up, his gaze caught Serena's eyes and the two had a brief moment.

As Yuya looked at the girl, he saw Yuzu instead. Seeing her made Yuya feel disgraceful. He thought about how disgusted Yuzu would have been if she had seen Yuya duel today. Not only did he break the promise he made with her, he couldn't uphold the advice that Serena gave him before his match. This made him look down in shame.

As Serena looked at the boy, her eyes twitched as she instead saw her purple haired friend with a malicious grin on his face. This made the girl feel extremely guilty for not being able to help him before he went down a dark path. But maybe...she could help Yuya before he went down a similar path.

"Serena...I-"

Yuya was cut off by Serena who hugged surprisingly hugged the boy.

"It's going to be ok, Yuya."

Yuya stood in shock for a moment before hugging the girl back. As her bracelet softly shined,

Crow gave a soft smile as he looked at the two. Despite their clashing beliefs and styles, the two have learned from each other and have developed a nice friendship.

The older duelist sighed in relief as he looked up into the night sky. Despite the hardships his team went through...they managed to defeat the almost unbeatable team. And at this point, the only other team in the tournament is Team Wings of Victory, meaning all the teams that were being hired to kill them were all dealt with. It was finally over...

Or so he thought.

Crow's eyes narrowed as he saw something...or someone...flying in sky on a glider. In fact, it was more then just one person. It was a small army of people that were flying towards the stadium on gliders.

"What the hell...?!" Crow said in an alarming tone, causing Yuya and Serena to look up in confusion.

"T-That's...!" Yuya uttered as he recognized the uniforms.

"...the Obelisk Force...!" Serena said in a worried tone.

"I wasn't aware we had some sort of aerial performers..." Melissa uttered in confusion.

The large group of Academia duelists landed in the middle of the stadium, causing the crowd to look in confusion.

One of the Obelisk Force members tapped a button on his duel disk and a muscular man with an eye patch and blue hair appeared on the screen.

"Sir, we've successfully landed in the stadium." The Obelisk Force soldier told his superior.

"Good. Do you have eyes on the target?" The man with an eye patch asked.

"Affirmative." The soldier spoke as he spotted Serena.

"Proceed and bring her in. Card everyone else." The man ordered.

"Of course, Captain Barrett. Glory on Academia!" The soldier saluted.

"Glory on Academia." The man said before hanging up.

The soldier then turned to his group and gave a signal to begin their attack.

Multiple soldiers activated their duel disks in unison and summoned multiple Antique Gear Hound Dogs.

The hounds viciously roared before firing balls of fire at the crowd, causing screeches of panic and fear from the Synchro residents.

Serena's eyes widened as she stared at the merciless assault. Though she had heard the truth of how Academia invaded other dimensions, she still couldn't comprehend how they dishonorably attacked civilians. She cursed herself for not seeing the truth sooner.

"We have to stop them!" Serena shouted. She quickly ran towards her D-Wheel and grabbed her duel disk before placing it on her arm.

But before she could take another step forward, she knelt down in pain. The damage she had taken from the Black Rose Witch's powers did quite a number on the girl, causing her to receive more damage then her teammates. And being hit dead on by Sergey's final attack didn't help either.

"D-Damn it..." Serena grunted in pain.

"Serena!" Yuya shouted. He quickly grabbed his duel disk off of his own D-Wheel and ran over to the girl.

Some of the Obelisk Force soldiers that weren't dealing with the crowd began to walk towards the three.

Seeing this, Crow grabbed duel disk and stepped in front of Yuya and Serena.

"I won't let you hurt my friends!" Crow angrily shouted as he activated his duel disk.

Yuya was about to join Crow in defending Serena, but he began seeing flashes of himself going berserk and killing Sergey. These images flooded his mind as he heard the agonizing screams of the Synchro residents and powerful explosions in the background.

Yuya's hand began shaking out of nervousness and fear while his vision began to blur. He didn't want to lose control like he did last time he fought the Obelisk Force in Standard. He didn't want to hurt anyone else.

"It's alright, kid. I'll handle this." Crow told the boy, causing him to snap back to reality.

Crow understood that Yuya was in no shape to duel due to his mental state and Serena was unable to duel due to her injuries.

He had grown extremely attached to his teammates and was determined to protect.

"Get out of here, kid." Crow told the boy.

"What?!" Yuya shouted.

"These bastards are after Serena, right? Take her on your D-Wheel and get the hell out of here. I'll handle things here." Crow said to his teammate.

"No...I can still fight..." Serena tried to get up on her own, but to no avail.

"Serena!" Yuya shouted as he helped the girl up before turning to Crow. "But Crow...we can't leave you here alone to deal with all of them...if you were carded...I wouldn't be able to live with myself-"

"Do you really think that little of me? I beat you after all." Crow joked with a smile. "Relax kid, I'll be fine. Just take care of Serena, alright?"

"Move aside, or be carded." An Obelisk Force soldier warned Crow as a group of them stopped in front of him with their duel disks activated.

"How about you back the hell off or I'll kick all of your asses!" Crow angrily shouted.

"You really think you can take on all of us alone?" Another soldier raised his brow.

"He's not alone!" A voice shouted from the tunnel, causing everyone to look in that direction.

Out of the tunnel, Gongenzaka ran out with Roy, Hokuto, and Yaiba following him.

"Guys! You're ok!" Yuya shouted in relief.

"You guys take care of the soldiers attacking the civilians. I'll help protect Serena." Gongenzaka said.

"Right!" The three Lancers nodded before sprinting towards the Academia duelists.

After running over, Gongenzaka stood beside Crow in order to defend Yuya and Serena.

"Gongenzaka!" Yuya said as he began to approach his friend.

"Yuya, you need to take Serena and get out of here." Gongenzaka told his childhood friend.

"Wait a minute, where are the others? Where is Yuzu?! If they are going after Serena, they must be going after her to!" Yuya panicked as he realized that his love was also in danger.

"Yuzu is safe. She's currently being protected by Kurosaki and Sora. Not only that, Tsukikage, Masumi, and Sawatari are on route to support them." Gongenzaka explained.

"Sora...!" Yuya smiled. It seemed is friend came around after all. "Alright, I'll leave these guys to you two."

"But Yuya, we can't just run away-"

"C'mon Serena, we'll be fine. Go get to safety. We'll defeat these guys and then win this tournament for sure!" Crow told his teammates with a smile.

"Fine...you better not lose, Crow." Serena told the Black Feather duelist who smirked at her.

"Gongenzaka, Crow, we'll see you guys soon. Stay safe." Yuya told his friends before helping Serena onto the back of his D-Wheel and driving off.

"Thank you for keeping Yuya safe. It will be an honor to fight beside you, Crow." Gongenzaka told the fellow Synchro user as he activated his duel disk.

"The honor is all mine, Gongenzaka." Crow smiled before the two engaged the Obelisk Force.

"Will they be ok...?" Serena couldn't help but say as the teens drove off.

"They have to be..." Yuya uttered as he looked back at his friend one last time before he could no longer see them.

With Reiji and Reira

"So this is the power of Academia...!" Gray uttered.

"This is terrible! Our city is being decimated!" Azul shouted.

"It will be ok. My Lancers have already been deployed and are taking out the Academia forces as we speak." Reiji explained as he pointed at the holographic screens.

The screen showed Hokuto using his Constellar Ptomely M7 to defeat an Obelisk Soldier. Another showed Roy defeating an Obelisk Soldier using Valkyrion the Magna Warrior while Yaiba defeated an Obelisk Soldier with XX-Saber Gottoms. A screen then showed Crow and Gongenzaka working together to defeat a group of Obelisk Force Soldiers with their aces, Black-Feather Dark Storm Dragon and Superheavy Koujin Susano-O.

"It seems that many of the soldiers are being drawn to the stadium due to most of the city's population being there at the moment. Meaning, my Lancers can easily pick them off." Reiji explained.

"Where are your other Lancers?!" Bordeaux questioned.

"Allow me to explain. The true intentions of this invasion is to capture Yuzu Hiragi and Serena. While some of the Obelisk Force are attacking the stadium, others are currently hunting these girls in order to complete the Professor's plan. So, I've assigned some of my Lancers to protect the two girls while taking out any Academia duelist that get in their way." Reiji explained.

"I see. That is a very well thought out plan, Reiji Akaba." White Taki complimented the older teen.

"Thank you, Chairman." Reiji explained.

"But that does raise a question...why isn't Security helping?" White Taki questioned.

"They'll help when I order them too." The voice of Roget said as a large monitor with the man's face on it appeared.

"So you've finally made your move." Reiji said to the blonde haired man.

"Quite the contrary, really. Despite the Fusion Dimension's interference, I am in complete control of the situation. I can make a move at whenever I want to. My officers are currently holding a defense line against the invaders at the capitol building, so be thankful." Roget explained with a smirk.

"Why aren't you cooperating with the Lancers? The invaders will be defeated much quicker if you work with them." Gray said.

"This is MY city! Not your city, and most certainly not the Lancers' city! I will be the one that saves this city! And I won't let any of you get in my way!" Roget shouted as multiple Security officers stormed into the room and activated their duel disks.

"Roget, when this is all over, all of your power will be revoked if you don't stop this nonsense!" White Taki warned the Security Bureau Director.

"You really aren't in any position to be making those kind of threats, Chairman." Roget smirked.

"Reiji Akaba, if you want our assistance in the future, you must protect us." White Taki told the leader of the Lancers.

"I understand." Reiji said before activating his red duel disk blade.

"As the leader of the Lancers, I assume you are a strong duelist, Reiji Akaba. But soon, your Lancers will fall and so will you. HAHAHA!" Roget laughed.

"I would worry about yourself, Roget." Reiji smirked before pushing up his glasses. "In fact, I would recommend looking behind you."

With Roget

"Eh?" Roget's eyes twitched as he heard an explosion from outside the room.

Roget quickly shut off the transmission and turned his chair to face the door. Suddenly, a Security Officer that was guarding Roget's office was sent flying through the door.

"What the hell?!" Roget shouted in confusion as he looked at the knocked out officer. He then heard footsteps, causing him to look towards the door.

Suddenly, a boy in a blue jacket walked in with a white duel disk that had a light green blade.

"This little boy...defeated all of my guards?!" Roget questioned in shock.

"My brother sent me on a mission. And I will complete that mission, no matter what!" Reira shouted in a determined tone as he readied his duel disk.

"Sending a child to do his bidding? What an interesting tactic." Roget said in an intrigued tone before smirking. "I guess it's a good thing I hired you three after all."

The man then snapped his fingers and threw figures stepped out of the shadows, revealing to be Lotten, Barbara, and Malcolm.

"Of course, Mr. Roget. We'll protect you as long as you keep your end of the deal." Lotten smirked.

"When this is all over, your records will be clean and you'll get a large cash award." Roget reassured the man.

"In that case, lets do this boys." Barbara said to her teammates.

"This will be fun!" Malcolm grinned.

Roget smirked before tapping a button on his door, causing a hidden door to open on the wall. Roget then walked through the door that shut behind him.

"Grr..." Reira grunted as sweat formed on his forehead. "I can't be nervous...I have to do this for brother...I won't lose!"

"Not backing down, eh? That's fine with us! Lets go!" Lotten shouted.

"DUEL!"

And that's a wrap! I'm so happy I finally got this duel finished. Next to Yuto vs Yugo, it might be one of my favorite duels that I've done during this arc. It was really fun putting the border line stable Yuya against the battle crazy Sergey despite their anime match being very underwhelming to say the least.

I wanted to start the duel off with Yuya trying to entertain the crowd like he normally does but show him slowly declining as the duel went on. Sergey seemed like the perfect opponent to draw Yuya's rage, and it worked almost too well in his case.

I decided to give Yuya three new monsters in this duel, Entermate Gatlinghoul, Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon, and Odd Eyes Raging Dragon. To me, Entermate Gatlinghoul represented Yuya's idealism of spreading smiles through dueling becoming corrupted, which is why it's a devilish Entermate. And due to the constant threats of his opponent and the crowd cheering for violence, I though it was a fitting monster to bring out. Not to mention, this monster's effect inflicts heavy damage and we all know Sergey loves pain. Odd Eyes Extinction Dragon (name created by BladeWriter3) is the dark form of Odd Eyes Wing, as Odd Eyes Raging Dragon is the dark form of Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon, at least in this fic.

In the beginning of the story I came up with the concept that because the connections established between Yugo, Yuto, and Yuya were created due to Yuya's power of Pendulum being able to "connect the summoning methods", he gained the hybrid dragons Odd Eyes Wing and Rebellion. This also lead to Yugo and Yuto gaining Pendulum cards and also allowed them to learn other summoning methods like Ritual (both), Synchro (Yuto), and Fusion (Yugo).

Odd Eyes Raging and Extinction were created through Yuya abusing their connections, meaning Yuya stole the powers of his friends and combined it with his own darkness in order to create these darker versions of his hybrid dragons. This is also the reason why Yuya's eyes changed color.

Yuya won't really be using them a whole lot for now, so don't worry about him becoming too OP.

Of course, Yuya managed to pull through with the win, securing Team United Hope's spot in the finals. And not only did Yuya win, he flat out ended Sergey's life. I've planned on this outcome for a long time which will make things much more interesting for Yuya's character development to say the least.

All in all, this duel really was a blast to write and I hole you all enjoyed it.

And in the next chapter, we'll see Reira get some more action. And instead of battling the useless security guards like in the anime, he'll be taking on some formidable foes. And like Team Lotten, Roget's other previous pawns will be brought back in the future.

Also, don't worry about Serena being injured. She will continue to duel and be a key part of the story. She won't be getting nerve-gassed or anything like that...unlike the anime.

Not to mention the original counterparts of the bracelet girls and Yu-boys are becoming more and more evident in their counterparts as the eventual meeting of them all in the same place draws near.

Guest 01: I would have had Yuri peak in if it wasn't for the fact that he was being chased by Yuto and Yugo. And I'm really happy I was finally able to implement the idea of the Bracelet Girls syncing up. When the pack was released I had roughly 2000 gems so I decided to spend 1000 on that pack and save the rest for the Yuto pack. It didn't matter anyways because I STILL haven't gotten Dark Rebellion yet! It just depends on how many Burning Abyss cards you get from those packs. As for Monster Reborn, I am personally glad it's in the game because it's been pretty clutch for me. I've been currently been playing as Reiji a lot so Monster Reborn is really helpful in bringing out Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz material. And I almost forgot about the old Zarcmas lol. Merch22: Magnets are one of my favorite decks of all time (I don't really know why, maybe because Yugi used them or something, but I just love them) which is why I created Roy. Olga honestly had a total of 4 real life cards to her name which mean I would have to continue making up cards for her to use. Also, she reminded me too much of Rin and with Rin making her return in a few chapters, I saw no point of including her. As for Mieru, like the Arc-V writers, I was never really interested in using her. Her whole seeing the future thing was kind of a Deus Ex Machina and would seem to make everything so much easier for the team, so I decided not to include her. She didn't even duel against the Obelisk Force in the anime. At least food guy and fish guy did before they got carded. She honestly seemed scared out of her mind when Reiji talked about forming the Lancers in the anime, and was only concerned about Yuya. And with Yuya already being in a relationship with Yuzu, her infatuation with him would be annoying to write. And if you are worried about Roy and the other LDS kids being boring characters, they will much more focus in the next arc, I promise you that. Anyways, thanks for the reviews!

bladeWriter3: After re-reading, I definitely got those vibes too lol. And that moment where Aki beats Crow is definitely for those people. I personally liked Crow, but I wish Aki got more spotlight rather then losing in the only WRPG duel she participated in. As for the combo with Caracal Dancer's effect, I wasn't even planning on using that combo until it just clicked in my head like a light bulb as I was reading it's effects. And at the point in the story, I agree that Sora is the better duelist when compared to Serena. She has started to figure things out, but she still has so much more room to grow. I agree the Asuka training Yuzu was a completely missed opportunity that I really wanted to happen. And worse of all, she never dueled again! Things will definitely change in this fic. Ah yes, a DBZ Abridged reference. That puts a smile on my face. Thanks for the review!

E.T 2000: Thanks man! And Rin and Ruri getting them is definitely something I have in mind. It's like how I handled Yuto, Yugo, and Yuya. When Yuto/Yugo bonded with Yuya, they gained a Pendulum variant of their ace while Yuya gained a hybrid of their ace monsters. Something similar will go down with Yuzu and her counterparts.
