Ch 4 Confrontation of the Gods Pt1
A blast blew a hole through an Olympian Soldier blocking their path, "Damn, hey does anyone notice how strong these past Olympian Soldiers we've encountered recently?" The Rider asked the group,
Odysseus rested his body before heading back to combat. "Agreed, Artemis, Orion can you check where we are?" The Rider asked the Moon Goddess and her Hunter.
"We can do that; Artemis go up a bit above the buildings." Orion patted the Goddess's white hair.
Artemis smiles at the touch of her lover's paws. "Of course, anything for you Darling!" The Archer flew up carefully so as not to be noticed by this World's Olympian Gods.
The teddy bear looks around the City, seeing the Hall of Gods like a corner away. "What do you see, Darling?" Artemis asked her lover.
"Hold on, just give me a few moments…" Orion peers his eyes, seeing a clear path from the stairwell to the Hall. "Alright, go down Artemis. I found a safe path to the Hall and what I can make out…a stair corner." He informed the Moon Goddess.
Artemis nodded, gently coming down from the air. "Great work, Darling!"
Aphrodite crosses her arms, seeing her sister and her Husband coming down from their scouting of the area. "So? What did you find in your little reconnaissance mission?" The Goddess of Love asked the Archer.
"Brother Ares was correct, there's a path we can take to the Hall of the Gods," Artemis informed the others of their scouting.
The red-haired Goddess groans, looking at their master. "Why we didn't use Minerva to scout ahead of us? I mean she came back without a scratch." Aphrodite asked the group.
Odysseus looks at the Goddess sent by their Zeus. "If we could then we would. But Minerva would give us away when she's heading to us." He explains to Aphrodite.
Orion agreed, "It's the best we can do despite having the entire City …"
"I presume that no Olympian Soldiers are guarding the path?" Apollo asked his Sister, finding it odd for Zeus to let an area unguarded from intruders.
Europa held her chin, figuring out what Zeus was planning through Hera. "Lord Zeus probably has this World's Lady Artemis or Lord Apollo take out master given the chance." The Rider stated, given the information she has on him. "But that's just assuming from our Zeus from both Proper Human History and the Lostbelt."
"I agree, Zeus seems different than the ones we know," Ritsuka commented on Europa's statement. "Should we presume that Zeus is one of those Gods who demand respect from Humans?" He asked the group for their opinions.
Drake smirks at his master, "I don't know all that God stuff, but if anything taught me when I joined Chaldea. You can show the Gods why you are respected among the Gods." The Pirate smirks,
Ritsuka smiles at the Rider Servant, "Thanks Drake,"
"If I could say something, I think I have a solution for you master," Poseidon said to his master, having a feeling that a show of power will put Zeus in his place. "I believe we need to show Zeus and the other Olympians what you can do." He explains to his master.
"What do you mean, Lord Poseidon?" Pollux asked the God of the Ocean. "What are you planning to have master to do?"
Paris jumps, understanding what the Ocean God. "Oh! The God-made Leylines!" The small boy shouted.
"Mmmm, so you're going to use the God-made Leylines." Castor hummed, feeling the Mana flowing through the Leylines.
Aphrodite crosses her arms, "So who's going to be Summoned? Using the God-made Leylines will Summon a powerful Servant." The Goddess of Love stated, offering her master permission to use Olympus's Leylines to show their father the power he possessed to earn their respects.
Apollo jumps, gaining everyone's attention. "Um…if I could interject, using the God-made Leylines is fine and all. But won't Zeus and the other Gods of Olympus notice that something is up with their Leylines?" The God of the Sun asked the group.
"Brother is right," Artemis commented, adding her state. "Using the God-made Leylines to Summon a powerful Servant will be risky."
Poseidon heard what her Neice and Nephew are saying, and he has considered the thought. "I heard you, and I believe it's the only option. Don't you agree master?" He asked the Magus who defeated him.
Ritsuka sighs, crossing his arms. "Considering this is Zeus, a show of power should be presented to earn their respects." The Magus stated, "We'll do it, but we need a distraction. Europa, Orion, Artemis, Paris, Apollo, I need you to do something…."
Hall of Gods
"How dare Ares let those…those Chaldeans go, he'll pay for his transgression against Olympus," Zeus growls at what his least favorite son did.
Hera looks at her Husband, also feeling betrayed by Ares's action. "Husband, for now, let's forget about Ares's transgression against and focus on locating Ritsuka Fujimaru." The Queen of the Gods stated, that she looks at Athena who mostly knows of her brother's reason for why letting the Human go. "Athena, do you have any ideas why Ares let them go like that?" She asked the War Goddess.
Athena place her hand over her chin, "It may be the same reason why Minerva chose to obey Ritsuka Fujimaru." She concluded, assuming that's the case. "He probably saw something in him that made him release him."
"Typical, Ares always supports those who interested him." Artemis looks down at the City, seeing no trace of the Chaldeans.
" So, do we send more Olympian Soldiers to flush out the intruders or-"
Aphrodite steps forward, seeing a group appearing on the main streets. "Apollo, I see yours and Artemis's Terminals along with…is that…Paris?" She blinks, seeing the small boy she watches when they were in Ancient Greece.
"Paris? The one I informed about Achilles's weak spot?" Apollo asked, looking down where the Servants are gathering. "I thought he died a long time ago." He ponders at the strangeness going on in Olympus.
Zeus got up from his throne, growling at their former Terminals now against them. "So they think they can defeat us? They are fools to even think of standing against the ones who created them!" The King of Gods proclaims, looking at the two Archer Gods. "Apollo, Artemis I command you to destroy our old Terminals, erase them from the face of Olympus!" He ordered the twin Gods.
"Alright, whatever you say, Father," Apollo took his bow, seeing Paris and his odd Terminal sitting on his head. "What a strange form my Terminal has taken, but eh nothing to do about it now."
Artemis took her aim, seeing the old form from the past. "Enemies in sight-mmm? Hera, your…Terminal is down there." The Moon Goddess informed the Queen of the Gods.
Hera felt wrong destroying her Terminal without getting some answers first. However, Zeus has proclaimed this as an invasion of their home. As Queen of Olympus, she must think of the Demi-Gods living here. "Destroy her along with those who aren't present." She ordered the Gods.
"Very well, I shall take care of both my Terminal and yours, Hera." Artemis pulled two arrows in her bow, having both Terminals in her sights.
Apollo sighs, preparing his bow, and aims it at Paris down near the main streets. "Well I guess everyone's in agreement then I have to oblige," He looks at Paris, smiling at a familiar face. "Too bad, I really want to find out more about the Paris down there."
Europa, Artemis, Orion, Paris, and Apollo were out in the open. They carefully tread forward, giving their master's group the distraction they need. "Hey, Darling do you think they noticed us?" Artemis asked the little bear on her head.
"I hope so, cause it'll be pointless in coming out in the open," Orion complains, seeing their master's group moving through the shadows of the buildings around them.
Apollo senses two-no, three Divine Arrows hurling right at them. "Divine projectiles coming at twelve o'clock!" He informed the group.
"I got it! HA!" Paris stumbles back, shooting a ray of light to destroy the arrows.
Artemis and Apollo blink, surprised by their Terminals having a small amount of their power. "T-The Terminals…the Terminals has our Authority!" Apollo gasps, seeing their Divine Arrows stuck down by them.
"So Human of Chaldea, not only you trespass Olympus and know our secrets but also have our Authority?" Zeus clenches his fist in anger. The clouds thundered and sparks at the thought of a mortal besting them-no him in every way. "Damn you," He got up and walks over to the balcony.
Europa smiles at the small Archer next to her. "Great job, Paris! You destroyed the arrows," The Lostbelt Servant claps her hands.
Paris smiles at the Queen of Olympus. "Thank you, Lady Europa!" The boy appreciated
"Oi don't get distracted. The Artemis and me of this World are still firing Divine Arrows at us!" Apollo informed the group, seeing many arrows raining down upon them.
Orion panics seeing the glowing arrows coming at them. "OI! ARTEMIS, YOU CAN FIGHT TOO YA KNOW!" The bear ushers the Goddess to fight back against her other self.
The white-haired Goddess smiles, aiming at the Hall of Gods. "Hai, hai, don't worry Darling, I know what I need to do," Artemis replied to her lover on her head. She releases a few Divine Arrows of her own at the Hall.
Paris released a few of his arrows imbued with Apollo's Authority to counter the stray arrows. "Apollo and I shall help you, Lady Artemis!" The small Hero stated, doing his best to ensure her arrows hit.
"Keep going, Paris. You're doing great!" Apollo motivated his favorite Human. His eyes look at their master's group reaching the stairs.
Europa looks up at the Hall, seeing arrows being returned back. 'So far so good, their attention has been directed to us. Now-' She paused, seeing the lightning sparking in the clouds. Then a bolt of lightning came raining down from the clouds.
"Lord Zeus, I'm sorry…" Europa sighs, playing her lyre to summon the upper body of Talos. "But I will not let you get your way for my master…"
The bolt struck Talos, only leaving a burn mark. The Bronze Giant looks up at the Hall, scanning the enemy. "Enemies, Gods of Olympus: Orders received. Defend and Attack."
Zeus and the other Gods step back, astonished of Hephaestus's greatest creations blocking his attack and siding with the enemies. "T-Talos!? H-How is he here? Why is he here?" Zeus roared, seeing the Automaton.
"Husband, Talos is doing something with his hands," Hera informed her Husband of the Bronze Giant's movements. They all know what the Automation was doing, he's beginning to counterattack.
Talos began to charge his arms and began to attack by shooting bullets. "Retaliate."
Zeus used the lightning from the clouds to create a barrier to defend against Talos's attack. "Curse you Chaldeans!" He roared, while Artemis and Apollo exchanged attacks with their Chaldean counterparts.
Ritsuka's group manage to get to the stairs, the Magus turns around and saw the upper torso of Talos being materialized by Europa. Both Artemis and Paris counties provide a distraction for them to enter the Hall.
"Europa's bring Talos in, and Artemis and Paris are distracting them," Ritsuka informed the group,
Drake nodded, "Well that's good, now we can really start the party." The pink-haired Rider turns to Heracles, awaiting for the signal to make a move. "Alright big guy, it's time for you to break down the door," The Rider smirks.
Heracles nodded, dashing over to the door of the Hall. "▂▃▅▅!" He raised his ax-sword and smashed through the huge doors. The sound of the door falling was muffled by Talos's bullets.
"We've broken through the doors; we have one shot at this," Odysseus told the infiltration team of their one-time mission. "We need to get master an audience with Lord Zeus and make them stop their attack on the Storm Border."
Aphrodite looks around, seeing the similarities between this Olympus and the Olympus of the Atlantic Lostbelts. "Poseidon, doesn't this remind you of our own Olympus in the Lostbelts?" She asked the Ocean God.
Poseidon looks around, recognizing the layout of the lobby of the Hall steps forward. "Follow us, master this way to the throne room." The Ocean God usher his master to follow him.
Ritsuka nodded, knowing that they knows this hall more than anyone other presence. "Right, I trust you two." He obliges the two's suggestion.
Castor steps forward, turning to his master. "Stay close to Pollux and me, master. You don't want to get killed by Father and his Olympian Gods." The blonde Divine Spirit stated.
"Lord Brother…" Pollux sighs, looking at their master. "Master, stay close to us and Drake. You'll be safe."
Drake laughs, "Don't worry master, you're old friend Drake got this handled." The Rider petted her master's shoulders.
Ritsuka chuckles, "Thanks Drake," He looks at everyone gathered around him, hearing the battle between Apollo, Artemis, Europa, Orion, and Paris still going on outside. "Alright, everyone prepares to get into battle against the Gods!" He ordered his Servants.
Zeus growls at the Bronze Giant attacking their Hall. He saw the blonde woman standing on Talos's shoulder, now recognizing the woman he gritted his teeth. "Europa, she dares to oppose us!? After what we've been through together in Crete!?" He roared.
Hera saw the Human who Zeus made loved back in ancient Greece. When she saw the Rider her Divine blood boils flowing in her veins. "Europa…" She growls at her not only for having an affair with her Husband but to defy him too.
"Zeus!" Everyone, besides Apollo and Artemis, turns to a blonde woman in a green dress. "Zeus, the intruders…they have entered the Hall of Gods!" The Goddess informed her brother.
"What did you say, Demeter?" Zeus asked once more to the Goddess of the Harvest.
"Heracles, Odysseus! Now!" The voice of the Human ordered two familiar names to the Gods.
The Gods look up in the air, seeing one familiar face and one completely different. "▂▂▃▃▅▅!"
Heracles lunges down from the air with his ax-sword about to slam into his Father. "▂▂▃▃▅▅!" He roars, slamming into the ground only for Zeus and Hera to dodge.
"Damn you Heracles! You dare attack your creator!?" Zeus raised his lightning bolt, about to strike his son. He threw it at the Berserker only for Odysseus to come forward and used a holo-shield to block the strike.
Zeus and the others were surprised to see one of his bolts was deflected by this strange shield. "Heracles, you're alright?" Odysseus asked the Berserker.
Heracles grins, nodding at the Hero fused with the God of the Underworld.
Athena senses a familiarity with the strange, armored man. Then she remember what the Human called him. "Hades-no, Ritsuka Fujimaru called you Odysseus. Are you truly Odysseus?"
"Indeed I am Lady Athena, but I'm not the Odysseus you know," Odysseus informed the Goddess of Wisdom. "I'm another version that serves my master from a different World."
'A different World…so that explains the Terminals appearing with Ritsuka Fujimaru.' Athena thought, knowing that this Odysseus wasn't lying about his origins. "Nonetheless, if you claim to be Odysseus then prove that you are the Hero who fought in the Trojan War." She took out her Spear, Palladion.
Odysseus nodded, "Very well, Lady Athena. In the name of my master, I shall prove my name." The Rider fused with the God of the Underworld.
"Forget this," Zeus roared, not having the mood for a proper and good-to-honest battle between Heroes and Gods. " It matters not who these miscreants are, they are not the Heroes we knew in the past." He proclaims to everyone in the Hall.
The sky thundered and flashed at Zeus's voice, "Arrogant as always, that will be your hubris, Zeus." Ritsuka walks through the large doors with his hands in his pockets. Beside him were Poseidon and Aphrodite standing behind him were Drake, and the Dioscuri.
"Insolences! You dare to speak to me like that, Human!" Zeus roared, enraged at how Ritsuka addressed him in a manner. "I'll show you, Human, that your race is inferior to us Gods!" Zeus announced.
"Poseidon, Athena! Destroy the Chaldeans, your King commands it!"
Poseidon sighs, twirling his Trident, and aims it at his old Terminal next to Ritsuka. "Poseidon Terminal that stands with Ritsuka Fujimaru, I challenge you." The Ocean God commands the Ocean God of Ritsuka's World.
The light-blue skinned God steps forward, accepting the challenge from his version of this World. "Very well, however, I'm not the only one who wants to participate in your challenge Poseidon." The Lancer stated,
Poseidon looks at the pink-haired Rider, walking forward with her pistols aiming at him. "Awe, thanks Poseidon. You know me too well after our last two bouts." Drake grins at the other Ocean God.
"Indeed, now let's begin this challenge!" Poseidon cried,

Poseidon raised his Trident and thrusts it at the Lancer. By doing this the God sent three jets of water hurling at the two Servants of Chaldea.
"HA!" The Lancer Poseidon brought his Trident and spun it around to deflect the jets. He stops spinning and placed his weapon to the side.
"Tch, I should've known you still have my Authority like Apollo and Artemis," Poseidon growls, seeing his attack wasn't effective to his Terminal.
Lancer Poseidon chuckles, "Well I am you from my master's World and one combined with my Lostbelt self. Of course, I have our Authority still lingering in me." He spun his Trident and slashed upwards, creating a wave hurling towards his other self.
Poseidon remained calm and dodged the attack, scraping an inch of his black hair. He then spun around and slashed at his Terminal, mimicking his own attack. "HA!" The wave hurls over to the Machine God,
The Lancer slashed through the wave; his eyes widen when the other Poseidon rode on top of a wave and thrust his Trident at him. "Gah!" The Lancer raised his own, interlocking their Tridents together.
Both Ocean Gods were stuck, with either side not batting an inch to victory. "Strange, you are a Living God, and yet you are the same level as a Servant." The Lancer Poseidon inquires, taking note of their power scaling. "Why is that?"
"You asked some interesting questions for a Terminal," Poseidon stated, thrusting his Trident at the Machine God. "I was never the one who asked those types of questions, even during our arrival to Earth." He slashed upwards,
The Lancer deflects his attacks with his own Trident before jumping back. "It's just a question, it's what my master does when things are difficult to understand." Poseidon smiles, he twirls his Trident and thrust it in the air.
A Maelstrom engulfs the Servant, spreading to the Living God.
Poseidon twirls his own Trident and tried to block the Maelstrom running at him. When it subsided the Living God gasps, chuckling at his lost Skill long ago. "Poseidon Maelstrom, I have forgotten what that Skill of ours looked like." He chuckles.
"Well, here's a reminder." Lancer Poseidon twirls his Trident once again, thrusting it in the air. However, this was countered by a large wave that caused him to stumble. "Damnit,"
The black-haired God rushed at the now vulnerable Servant. "This is where you meet your end, Terminal!" Suddenly a loud blast caused the Living God to create a shield out of water to deflect the cannon fire.
Poseidon landed on the floor, looking upwards, and saw Drake aiming her pistol at him and a large calvary cannon as well. "Don't forget about me, you pretty man," Drake smirks, coming down from the large throne. "Hate to admit it, but your face is the type of man that I strive to get when I was still Human." She admitted her type to the Gods.
"That's weird considering that you defeated me once and the other time you made off with one of my Divine Cores." Lancer Poseidon got up from the floor,
Drake shrugs, already moving on from the past. "Eh, past is past, we were enemies Poseidon." The Rider said, smiling at the memories she has. "But this is the first time we're working together,"
Poseidon blinks, hearing what this woman did to his Terminal in this other World. "Hold on, you. The pink-haired one, what did you say?" The Living God asked the Rider. "Y-You…you defeated me?"
"Mmmm? Oh right, I forgot that you didn't fight me here right?" Drake asked the Ocean God of Olympus. "Anyways, names Drake. Francis Drake and I'm the woman who brought down the God Poseidon when I was still Human!" She informed the black-haired God.
'Francis Drake? The lover of Calypso? Defeated me and a Human?' Poseidon took another look at the Pirate he heard rumors about in the past. But there was a problem, yes it's regarding the body of the Rider. "I thought Francis Drake was a male?"
Drake has a growing smirk when she heard what the Francis Drake was in this World. She burst into laughter, hearing the same question before in Chaldea. "Wow, so I was a man in this World? HA!" She slaps her knees, finding that hilarious. "I'm like Arthur and Arturia, I would never guess that I ever encountered that day-well this is another Dimension so anything can be possible."
"Drake, we're still in battle." Poseidon twirls his Trident and prostrates at his other self. "And we got other things to do here." The Lancer stated.
"Yeah, yeah," Drake looks down at the Living Poseidon, kneeling on the floor. "Oi, can you still fight, Poseidon?" She asked the black-haired God, still aiming at the Ocean God.
Poseidon laughs, standing up from the floor. "HAHAHAHAHA! I never had an interesting battle like this." The black-haired Ocean God looks at his opponents. "Me, fighting a Terminal of mine that I lost and a female version of Francis Drake. This really got my interest; I can still fight." He stated, still holding his Trident.
Drake laughs, looking at the Lancer Poseidon next to her. "Hey, Poseidon, how come you didn't turn out like this one? I like him better than yourself, no offense or anything." The Woman who brought down the Sun asked.
Lancer Poseidon looks at his other self, curious about how he turns out like this. "I'm not sure, but when this battle is finished we can ask about that later." He twirls his Trident in preparation for an attack. "You're with me, Francis Drake?" He asked.
Drake twirls her pistols and aims them at the Living God. "Good as ever, now let's beat the shit out of this God!" She shot bullets at him,
Poseidon deflects the bullets, he then saw his Terminal send three slashes of water at him. He retaliates by slashing through them, but when they dissipate Drake appeared aiming her pistol at him. "See ya," She shot the God,
Ritsuka kneels to the floor, managing to escape the Olympians' view. Aphrodite and Demeter of this World were on the other end with Hera, which in terms for them a good one.
"Just look at those three, can't they fight?" Aphrodite asked herself, recognizing the Magical Energy from her other self cowering with the others.
Pollux remained vigilant but still converses with the Goddess of Love. "I believe they don't have fighting prowess." She observes, "I think they lost them during the Leukosmachia or that they're not strong enough to fight."
Aphrodite clicked her teeth, ready to kill at any moment. "Whatever it is, I still can't believe my other self has blonde hair. I mean really red hair is still around." She stated. "I mean look at master's mother, she has red hair." She complains.
"Alright, I got it now," Ritsuka announces, able to connect with the God-made Leylines. "We only need a catalyst and that should be it." He smiles.
Castor looks at the Gods, seeing a familiar blonde Goddess in a green dress. "Master, that Goddess over with Hera and Aphrodite. She has the signature of Lad-." He stated before realizing who he was going to Summon. "O-Oh, master are you sure about this? It can be either the Lostbelt or the Proper Human History, either way, she's broken now." He stated, taking the knowledge of her legends.
Ritsuka looks back at Castor, ensuring this will be fine. "I'm confident that she'll materialize in both. Now I need you to give me a few minutes to prepare," He stated, his Magic Circuits glowing over his body. "This is my first time Summoning a Machine God without Chaldea backing me up." He took out a Summon Ticket and placed it on the God-made Leyline.
"Here's goes nothing,"
