Ch 7 Meeting of the Gods Pt2
"Alright, I have to ask." Poseidon interrupts, wanting to know something for a while now. "Why do our old Terminals call you master? It's unlike Gods to call a Human as their master."
Zeus nodded along with everyone else. "Tell us, Human of this…unique situation." He demanded of him.
"Well, I presume you all encounter the White Titan, Sefar," Ritsuka asked the Gods of Olympus.
From the mere mention of the Umbral Star's name, the Olympians Gods flinched. "I-Indeed," Poseidon answered the master of Humanity. "We don't speak of the Leukosmachia that much. Only the original twelve Olympians have knowledge of the Machia." The Ocean God stated.
Astraea blinks, hearing the choice of words her Uncle said. 'Interesting, so there were twelve original Olympians.' She thought, looking around the thrones. 'So this version of the Olympians has other Gods join the council…' She thought, looking at her half-siblings who quickly caught on.
Many Gods agreed before Zeus stood up. "What does the Leukosmachia has to do with our old Terminals, Human?' The God of Lightning and Skies asked the Human who stood against the Gods.
"In my World, there's a Phenomenon called the Theoretical Pruning Phenomenon. A process that the Universe prunes away undesired timelines that History divergence from a proper path." Ritsuka explains to the Gods of Olympians.
"Interesting that the Universe would destroy a timeline filled with many Human lives, how tragic." Aphrodite sighs, thinking of the many lives that would have been if they were alive.
Hephaestus was interested in these failed Worlds that this Human was speaking of. "And you, have dealt with these failed timelines?" The God of the Forge asked the Human master.
Ritsuka closes his eyes, memories of the lives he met in the Lostbelts he helped end. He opens his eyes, looking back at the Olympians before him. "Yes, they are called Lostbelts in order to save Proper Human History we have to dismantle their World." He explains.
"This includes Olympus and Atlantis," Ritsuka stated,
"WHAT!?" Most of the Gods, mainly Poseidon and Zeus stand on their feet. The God of the Ocean steps forward, hearing his domain was destroyed.
Poseidon steps forward, "Ritsuka Fujimaru, are you saying that you destroy both my domain and my brother's?" The Ocean God asked the Magus from another Dimension.
Zeus's anger manifested in waves of thunder and lightning throughout the night sky of Olympus. "So not only that you invaded Olympus but, in your World, you destroy your own version!" He roared as thunder quaked.
"Husband, that's enough," Hera stated, not wanting bloodshed despite what the Human said. She turns to the man who killed Gods. "Why did you destroy both my brother's and Husband's domain?"
Ritsuka stands firmly at the Gods, meeting their eyes. "To save my World, the place where Humans have inherited the Earth after the Gods were gone." He informed the Gods. "The Atlantic Lostbelt is a place where you, Machine Gods continue to rule over Humanity. Zeus, Aphrodite, Hera, Artemis, and Demeter wish to rule over Humans while Athena, Hades, Poseidon, Ares, Apollo, Hephaestus, and Hestia wishes to coexist with them."
Aphrodite couldn't help but be intrigued by this version of her siding with her father in ruling over Humanity. "I'm interested in my version of your Aphrodite. If that ever happened here in this World, I would side with Humanity than rule over them." The Goddess of Love stated.
"Yes," Demeter agreed with her Neice on where to stand. "I find it odd that the Gods you named would rule over Humans other than Zeus."
"If I do get that power I would consider it," Zeus stated, not minding the scorn he was receiving from the other Gods in the Hall. "However I do not, enlighten us how the others side with me in your World's Lostbelt?" The God of Lightning asked.
"Isn't it obvious, father?" Castor spoke out of term, crossing his arms with a smirk. "You reprogram the other Gods to join your side while you destroyed the others who oppose you."
Ares laughs, finding that to be true if that were ever to happen. "I find that to be correct, Father would do something like that." The War God stated that everyone agreed to his words.
"Assuming that brother processed his Alethia body then what you say is true." Poseidon agreed with his Nephew.
"Now that we told you how I came across your Alethia bodies, I want to know something myself," Ritsuka asked, still being respectful and stern at the same time.
Zeus scoffs at the Human's request, "And why should we answer to a Human who conquered us? Indeed you have defeated and enslaved us Gods but here you haven't." The Sky God stated, "You have no power here to-"
Astraea's eyes widen, finally figuring out what's the difference between their Olympian Gods and this World's Olympians. "Father, correct me if I'm wrong but you all weren't showing your true capabilities." She stated.
"Astraea, my daughter you better watch your tone with me," Zeus grumbles, looking down at this other version of the Goddess of Justice.
"Now I see," Astraea smiles, seeing her father's sudden reaction when she asked them. "So my prediction is correct. I may not be Sherlock Holmes, but I can tell when things are obvious." She looks at the council of Gods. The Goddess of Justice turns to her allies behind her, "Tell me, do you all sense it too? The aura around these Olympians?"
"Aura? What do you mean-Wait, what is this?" Aphrodite was in shock, the aura that their counterparts have are…
Poseidon sighs already can tell that these versions of themselves know. "You are all-"
"More Human-like than Gods. Downgraded to mere lower Divine Spirits than true Gods." Castor scoffs, sensing the aura of a Divine Spirit mixed with Human.
"Insolence! You dare to speak back to me!?" Zeus roared; thunder boomed outside the Hall.
"That's enough brother! This is an Olympian matter, and they're not the Olympians of this World!" Zeus roared, not wanting anyone to know their secrets.
The Ocean God stood up, having enough of his brother hiding their origins. "Zeus that is enough, these Chaldeans know already of our secret. That we are an interstellar fleet who came to this planet," Poseidon looks down at Ritsuka, wanting to know something. "Ritsuka Fujimaru, is this knowledge common in your World? How many Humans know of our origins?" He asked politely.
Ritsuka stood firmly, "The public doesn't know of your Origins. However the UN, Mages Association, Chaldea, and a few researchers we hired know."' He stated. "We know knowledge is power and must be used correctly, if the word comes out that you Olympians are Machine Gods then chaos will erupt amongst the people."
Athena was listening to every word Ritsuka was saying, judging if he can be trustworthy. "Ritsuka Fujimaru, do you intend to tell this World's people of our secrets?" She asked,
"When the situation comes to it, I can't control what is distributed or not," Ritsuka answered the Goddess of Wisdom. "But I will not carelessly tell anyone."
The Gods heard his answer, they were thinking of the response they received. Information must indeed be revealed when the situation calls for it.
Demeter leans into her Grandson's ear, "(Ritsuka, they are discussing the answer you just gave.)" She whispers, informing him. "(This will take a while.)"
"I see,"
Zeus growls, looking down at the Human who invaded Olympus. "Leave the Hall, Human, and take your Servants with you. We need to discuss this privately." He ordered the Chaldeans.
Ritsuka nodded, turned around, and left the Hall of Gods with his Servants following behind.
Hours went by while waiting to be let back in. Ritsuka leans on the wall with everyone gathered around him.
Drake looks at the doors, now been waiting for hours. "Well, they're taking their sweet time." She chuckles.
"Tch, what's taking them so long? We've been waiting for hours." Aphrodite grumbles, tapping her finger on her arm.
"Mmmm, maybe they're discussing us letting us go!" Paris smiles, hopeful that was the case.
Apollo chuckles, patting the little boy's blonde locks. "That's a nice thought Paris. But you know that we Olympians argue during this type of meeting." The Sheep said to the Archer.
Minerva nodded, activating her voice module. "Indeed, those meetings take up the whole day or weeks depending on the situation."
"I remember those from both the Lostbelts and Proper Human History," Poseidon smirks,
Europa smiles at her master, walking up to him. "Worry not master, Lord Zeus may be a stubborn God but he can be reasonable…most of the time…" She comforts him.
"I know, Europa, thank you." Ritsuka smiles.
Soon the door opened, letting the same escort walking out. "Heads up, we got company." Castor glares at the Automaton heading over to them.
Ritsuka steps forward, and Castor, Pollux, and Astraea followed behind. The rest were ready to defend their master if need too.
"So, what's the verdict?" Ritsuka asked the escort.
"You may come in; the Gods have reached a decision." The Olympian Soldier informed the Chaldean master.
The master of Humanity nodded, walking back inside the Hall of Gods with his protectors.
Once back inside, the Gods all stare back at the hope of Humanity. Zeus stood up, seeing the Human who will defy the Gods. "Human, we have reached the conclusion. Despite my…plea, A vote was taken, and two out of six voted for you to investigate our World to track down your fugitive."
"That's all we ask-"
"However the fact that you know our secret is still a matter of worry," Hera interjects, looking at the master of Humanity.
Castor clicked his tongue, having a feeling that they won't let them go that easily. "Tch, typical. Father won't let us go that easily."
"Lord Brother, you know that Father here is thinking of both the Gods and Humans' safety." Pollux calmed her older brother from continuing his rant.
The blonde Saber sighs, "I know, that's what I hate." Castor stated.
Zeus finds the twins to be interesting, both calling him Father. They must be his children from the other World. "So? What do you all intend to do?" Ritsuka asked the Gods.
"We have decided to send you and…Triton's strange Alethia." Poseidon cleared his throat, moving that issue aside. "To the place you were meant to come to."
Astraea blinks hearing the Gods the place they were meant to come out. Curiously the Goddess asked the Gods something. "Is there any particular reason why you're sending to the place we were meant to shift to?"
"You need to find out yourselves, Chaldeans," Poseidon informed the Chaldean master and Servants. "That's all we can tell you due to our laws."
"I see, that's fine." Ritsuka agreed to the terms.
Zeus looks down at the Human, still not liking him. "We'll be watching you, Human, if we see anything that we don't approve know that we'll retaliate."
"I'll try to not incur your wrath, Zeus," Ritsuka smirks, knowing that no matter what he does he doesn't like them at all.
Zeus frowns not liking how this Human was so casual with him. "You are dismissed. Now get out of Olympus."
The Chaldeans left the Hall of Gods, heading back to the Storm Border. Unknown to the Chaldeans some of the Gods were planning to see what they were like close up.
After being escorted back to the Storm Border, Ritsuka sat on the Commander's chair contemplating how they were going to resolve the Anomaly.
Hermione checks the outer cameras, still seeing the Olympian Soldiers stationed outside. "This is amazing, seeing the Olympians alive and living…it's amazing." She shutters in excitement.
"Ohohoho, Ms. Granger you'll be saying things differently if you were with us at the Atlantic Lostbelt." Goldolf pales, seeing the all-powerful God-made Automations standing guard.
The researcher jumps, hearing the Vice-Commander panics. "S-Sorry, Vice Commander," Hermione smiles.
Lucien sighs, looking at Ritsuka. "So? What's the plan? The Olympians are willing to let us leave." The heir of the Barthomeloi stated. "So why can't we leave?"
"Unfortunately the thrusters are fried, and it'll take a few days or weeks to fully repair it." Da Vinci explains to the crew. "Repairs are on their way but…Hephaestus?" She looks at the screen above them.
An orange dot appeared on the screen. "I take it…it'll be a while to be fully operational. The smaller Da Vinci and a few staff are in the engine room assessing the damage with Prometheus." The AI explains to the Chaldeans,
"Director, do you have any thoughts of being able to transport the Storm Border to the Long Island Sound?" Goldolf asked his fellow Magus.
Ritsuka was about to say something when Demeter entered the room. "Sorry to interrupt, but we have guests waiting at the docking bay."
"Guests?" Ritsuka blinks, getting up to meet with these guests.
"So this is the Storm Border, blessed with half of the Olympians' blessings." Poseidon stood before the open hatch of the Border.
A red-haired God steps forward, marveling at a rare and unique sight that is the Storm Border. "How interesting, how marvelous! I can sense most of the Olympian's blessing in this vessel!" Hephaestus walks forward, intrigued by the design and properties of the Border. "Uncle, your Son, Triton is clearly the main base for this beauty, along with something else…" He smiles.
Poseidon looks at the end and front of the Storm Border. "My son, helping Humans." He smiles.
"Interesting that Humans built this vessel." Artemis crossed her arms, being reminded of their old days when they were Machine Gods. "Aren't ships supposed to be female by Human standards?"
Apollo chuckles, smirking at the ship before them. "Well they are, but this is a vessel made from Triton. So it's male, sister." He smiles.
Artemis frowns not liking how this is a male ship. However, that stopped when she saw a brown-haired man dressed in an open chest robe with black pants and brown shoes. He has chains connected to his belt.
"Greetings, great Olympian Gods. I am Caster, Vice Head of the Technology Development Department of Chaldea." Archimedes greeted the four Gods, "How may I help your humble visit."
"Caster, you are one of these Heroes that's helping Ritsuka Fujimaru?" Poseidon asked the familiar and yet different.
Archimedes nodded, "Yes, Lord Poseidon however we prefer the term Servants since we're contracted to our master." The Caster explains to the Gods.
"Servants, to think Gods would follow a Human as their master." Artemis chuckles at the statement. However, there's one thing that makes her wonder, 'What's my Terminal doing, serving that man?' She thought, if she's her old Terminal then she must have the same personality as her but…she does not.
"If I may ask, why are you here, Great Olympians? Are you here to see if we're leaving?" Archimedes inquires, placing his hand over his chin.
Apollo steps forward, smiling at the Servant of Chaldea. "Nah, we're just curious on this…vessel."
"The Storm Border," Everyone turns to Ritsuka walking with Demeter by his side. "That's its name, hello Olympians."
"Ritsuka Fujimaru, forgive our intrudance but we were curious about your Storm Border," Poseidon explains their reasons.
"Most of us, sister isn't too keen of you since-"
Ritsuka nodded, "Because I'm a male. Don't worry, I understand," He looks at the black-haired Goddess who frowns at his gaze. "So, what do you all want to ask me?"
Hephaestus step forward, still in awe of the technological beauty. "Our reasoning for being here is Father, wondering what's taking you long from leaving." The God of the Forge stated. "The Second-"
"Is to understand why our Terminals decided to follow you, Ritsuka Fujimaru." Apollo continued after his Half-brother.
"I see, so that's how it is." Demeter looks over to her Grandson, who seems to get the idea. "Then as a fellow Olympian Machine God, allow me to welcome you to the Storm Border."
Ritsuka smiles, "if you want to know why your Terminals serve me, why not have refreshments over it." he offered the Gods of Olympus.
The Olympians looked at each other, confused by this sudden hospitality from the Human Magus. Poseidon, being one of the oldest Gods of their group spoke on their behalf. "Very well, we accept,"
Archimedes moves to the side and motions his arms for them to enter. "Please follow me and ignore the Berserkers. They are a bit on edge by you all."
"Understandable," Artemis looks over to Heracles and Asterios who are ready to pounce at them. "Our mechanized army is the same, Caster."
Apollo smiles, seeing the inside of the Hangar bay. "Woah, it's Chrono's Alethia body," He commented.
After leading the Olympians to the Border, most were surprised at how many Humans were on board working hard in repairing the vessel. They were not in a red room where a table was set for guests.
Ritsuka sat at the end of the table, looking at the Gods who shrank in size to enter the halls. "Sorry for the mess, we're trying to reboot the Border's main systems and some things are more important than fallen papers and pots." He apologizes to the Gods.
Poseidon raised his hands, "No worries," Soon the door opened for Europa pushing a cart of treats and tea.
"Forgive my tardiness, here's the refreshments you asked for master." Europa smiles, stopping at each Olympian, and pouring tea for them.
"It's not what you used to here in Olympus but it's all we got." Europa smiles, moving next to her master, waiting for her orders.
The Gods took a sip of their tea, satisfied with the taste. "Interesting taste. We've been on this planet and never had tea like this before." Hephaestus stated,
"Yes, that's what I call tea!" Apollo smiles, he looks at the Human and his Servants. "Now that we're here, can you answer our questions, Ritsuka Fujimaru? I don't have a particular question in mind, but my sister does." The God of the Sun asked the master of Humanity.
"We want to see what the Terminals see in you, personally I don't get my Terminal is obeying your orders," Artemis stated her distrust in men.
The Hephaestus came on the screen behind Ritsuka, "Is that all? Well, I can tell you that our master is a one of a kind."
The Gods were surprised at the sudden appearance of the God of the Forge appearing before them. "This presence, you're me from the other World." Hephaestus looks at the virtual version of himself. "This is interesting, my version of myself has been digitized to an AI. How did that happen?"
Hephaestus on the screen gave a light chuckle. "My master retrieve my cerebral data with the help of an ally hacking into the Eternal Empire's mainframe and released my consciousness from their control." He explains to the other Hephaestus in the room.
"So there are others who would use our powers as well?" Artemis asked, hearing what the Machine God of the Forge said.
"Fascinating, someone must've unlocked the secrets of the Machine Gods for that to happen." Hephaestus ponders before shaking his head. "In any case, you being the AI must be a way to repay the debt to Chaldea for saving you."
Hephaestus nodded to his more Human version of himself. "Indeed, I've known my master for some time now and now I can truly help Humanity by helping him." He stated. "I can say this, without meeting Ritsuka, neither of us would have our wish fulfilled." He looks over to Artemis who isn't convinced.
"This includes you, Artemis," Hephaestus stated.
"Wha-Why would I be grateful for a man? I have no wish-"
"Orion,"
Artemis paused her rant, hearing the Human she fell in love with back then, "The Demi-God son of Poseidon…" A distant memory of a buff man smiling under her night sky appeared in her mind. She looks at Ritsuka, curious about what he did to her Terminal and her Orion. "My Terminal serves you, I want to know why."
"That is something you need to ask her, Lady Artemis," Ritsuka stated, looking at Apollo who did not like the idea of the Moon Goddess meeting her Terminal.
Artemis stood up from her chair, "I want to meet my Terminal. Where is she?" She asked. "I want to know why she is different from me, what makes her so happy."
Ritsuka nodded, "She's down the hall with someone who you might know."
Artemis nods turns around and left the room.
Apollo turns to Ritsuka, having a feeling about who this person is. "Ritsuka Fujimaru, why did you tell her that? Why did you tell her that Orion is here and-"
"Cause, I can tell that she is cold and untrusting of men." Ritsuka explains to the God of the Sun, "I have faith that her maidenhood will not be broken, Lord Apollo. I trust Orion here."
In the halls, Artemis walks down the long halls in search of her Terminal. She looked high and low for the former image of herself long ago.
"Darling, what do you think? Should we go with master on this mission?" A familiar voice echoes in the hall, prompting the Human Artemis to follow.
"Of course, master needs us to save our World and many more." A voice that she hadn't heard for ages echoes. "Plus, if we let this master have his way then we won't have a place we call home."
"Oh, Darling! You're so good with words!"
"GAK! I SHOULDN'T NOT SAY THAT PART, I SHOULDN'T!"
Artemis turns to the corner, pausing upon seeing her Terminal. "You, Artemis Terminal who are you…" She saw a bear creature looking at her,
Artemis Archer turns around, seeing her Human-God self. "Oh, why hello Artemis!" She smiles.
"Oh, Artemis. We didn't expect you to be here so soon." The bear hops down, placing his arms on his side. "Since you know that Artemis is you, I'm Orion. Nice to meet ya." He introduces himself to her.
"Eh?"
