Ch 10 A Warm Welcome

The Chaldeans finished with setting up their new base within Camp Half-Blood. Achilles, Orion, and Artemis went out scouting the Camp while others were still fixing the room, Minerva was perched on the stand next to the window observing the campers. Castor was guarding the door while Pollux tried to get him to relax.

However, the main thing is that they manage to construct a Summon Circle to start repairing Nemo's Spirit Origins.

Sion wipes away the sweat dripping down her face, seeing Nemo is comfortable resting on the bed sheets she and Ritsuka place. "Alright, we're all finished setting up with the Summon Circle," She stretches, looking behind her.

"Ritsuka?" Sion saw the black-haired Magus looking at the window of their Cabin. There was much laughter from children, which they presume to be the Demi-God children of the Olympians.

Odysseus steps next to the Alchemist from Atlas, curious about what his master was doing. "Miss Sion, is something the matter?" The Rider with Hades's Klironomia asked her.

Sion walks over to Ritsuka, tapping his shoulder. "Hey, Chaldean master. Are you in there?" She sang, gaining his attention.

"Mmm? Sorry Sion," Ritsuka turned to the violet-haired Alchemist, "I was thinking of Romani attending a Summer Camp when we get back to our original World." The Magus chuckled, picturing his Son in those t-shirts and a bright smile.

"The young master would probably like that when he comes to age." Achilles entered the room with both Artemis and Orion.

Artemis giggles, hugging Orion tightly. "Just think of the little outfits that the young master would wear; it'll be absolutely adorable!" She looks at the Bear in her arms, squeezing him tightly. "Am I right, Darling?"

Orion gasps for air while he was being squeezed the living daylights out of him. "Y-Yeah, y-you're right! J-Just let me go already!" The Grand Archer begs of his lover to release him.

Ritsuka turns to the Rider, seeing that both Archers are preoccupied with their hourly cuddle sessions. "Rider, what did you guys see?" He asked.

"Pretty much what you expect from a Camp." Achilles reported to his master. "I can sense a lot of Divinity everywhere, nothing less from a Camp for Demi-Gods." The Fastest Hero of Greece stated,

Chiron walks forward, crossing his arms. "Still surprises me that the Age of Gods merged with the Modern Era and yet not been designated as a Lostbelt." The Centaur commented, hearing the Campers from within their base.

Sion smiles, "Calling this Era the Age of Gods seems a bit much." The Alchemist stated, seeing that the Gods are more Human with their powers lessen to Divine Spirits. She ponders, thinking of a proper name for the Era they were in. "I believe the Age of Demi-Gods would be more appropriate for this timeline."

"I believe that name would best describe this Era, Miss Sion," Chiron commented on the name that Sion gave this Era.

Ritsuka and the others agreed with the name, an Era where neither Gods intervene with Humanity's progression nor rule over them. A timeline where it hangs over the Proper Human History and a Lostbelt.

Suddenly a knock interrupts their conversation, prompting Castor to walk over. He opens the door, revealing a blonde boy with features the same as him but with violet eyes.

Castor was enraged, he could tell this child was this World's version of him. He restrained himself, not wanting to give his master a bad reputation with the camp. "What do you want?" He asked harshly of the Demi-God.

"Um…" Castor pulled the back around his shoulder and showed it to the Lostbelt version of the Hero he was named after. "Chiron and my dad sent me here to retrieve someone named Ritsuka Fujimaru to the Director's Cabin and to hand you some medical supplies he'd gathered." He stated.

Pollux and Ritsuka head over to the door, seeing the young Castor before his older self. The other half of the Dioscuri took the bag with a smile. "Thank you, young one. Might I ask your name?" She asked,

"It's Castor, miss," Castor stated his name, hearing his other version gritted his teeth at the name. "Is there something wrong with him?" He asked, seeing the Lostbelt Servant's disdained expression.

Pollux sighs, looking at her older brother. "Lord Brother, please behave." She begs, not wanting him to cause a scene.

Ritsuka chuckles, patting his loyal Servant's shoulder. "Don't mind him, Castor. He's not too keen on people." He walks past Pollux as she heads inside to give Sion the Medical Supplies for Nemo.

The other Castor nodded, finding this person weird. He got a better look at the black-haired Magus, sensing he's not a Demi-God. "You're not a Demi-God, you're not even Human too." He said, finding it strange to see a regular Human here. "Why ar-"

"We're Sages, Chiron and Poseidon granted us permission to stay here for a while." Ritsuka quickly informed the other Castor. "We're just resting a bit before we set out to another place."

Castor shrugs, seeing that it must be true. Sages are different than Demi-Gods and other beings in this World. "Well, follow me to the Director's Cabin. Both my dad and Chiron are waiting for you."

"Just a moment," Ritsuka looks at his Servant, Pollux handed Sion the bag and went straight to work. She quickly joined her master and with her going, Castor will tag along.

Chiron steps forward, having bonded a bit with his other self when he was guiding them to the Cabin.

"We'll take care of things here, master." Odysseus ensures him that their base will be in good hands.

"I know you can, we'll see you guys later." Ritsuka waved, following the other Castor outside their Cabin.

Now it was day out, and everyone in the Camp was active. Either going to the mess hall or doing morning routines.

Castor continues to glare at this World version of him, despising each moment he's with him. He grumbles to himself about how someone known as the God of Light turned out to be Human.

Pollux nudged her brother for grumbling, she pulled him closer so she could whisper in his ear. "(Lord Brother, stop that grumbling of yours. We are guests here in this Camp, it's rude to talk about someone behind their back.)" She scolded him.

"(Pollux, how could I not? That person, no the version of us here is the mere product of a Human and Father conceiving!)" The blonde Lostbelt Servant stated, hating to be around these pathetic excuses for children of the Olympians. "(I will not stop despising the other me, even if master ordered me to!)" He hissed.

The other Castor looks back at his Lostbelt self, hearing him arguing with what he presumes to be his Sister. 'Strange, that's how Pollux and I sometimes argue.' He thought, seeing the two continue with their argument.

Ritsuka chuckles, also hearing his two Servants bickering behind them. "Sorry about them, Castor. Saber and his Sister tend to argue depending on the situation, especially when it comes to me." He chuckles,

"I get it, Pollux and I also get into arguments like those two time to time." The other Castor stated,

Chiron looks over at the other Castor, hearing that there's another Pollux here. 'So there is a Pollux, does this mean that there are other Heroes that are reincarnated?' The Centaur looks at the campers around them. 'No, he may look like Castor, but he doesn't have the likeness to him like our Castor.' He ponders, thinking about how things operate in this Camp.

Ritsuka smiles at the young blonde boy, walking beside him. "Say, if you don't mind, Castor. What do you do here at Camp, is it like the regular Summer Camps?" The Magus asked the Demi-God.

Castor looks at the Magus from another World, "Oh, let's see…unlike those Summer Camps that Humans attend, we are trained in combat like those before us." The blonde Demi-God explains, "There's Sword and Shield training with Clarisse, Archery, Monster Assault Techniques, and many more related to combat."

"I guess this is your first time being in a Camp for Demi-Gods then," Castor commented, seeing that was obvious to see.

"You got it, kid. We've been all over the place, but we tend to somehow miss minor details." Ritsuka added, playing along with the other Castor's statement. He looks at Chiron who just smiles that Camp Half-blood was keeping up combat in Greek style in the Modern Era.

"Since you mentioned Combat, I'm familiar with a few Greek styles of myself," Ritsuka commented, looking down at the blonde boy.

Castor blinks, surprised to hear this Sage was knowledgeable of Greek fighting styles. "Really? You don't look the type to go into combat." He added, looking at Ritsuka's physique. After a quick glance, he could tell he has some muscles under the strange clothing he was wearing.

Ritsuka winks at the young Hero, "Don't judge a book by its cover, Castor. I may not look it, but I've been through many things when I was around your age." He chuckles.

Chiron nodded, "It's true, many of us have been with him to see it all." The Archer stated, looking kindly at the young Hero. "You'd be surprised by how much combat experience he has."

Castor smiles, feeling comfortable when speaking with this Sage. "Hey, since you're going to stay for a while, maybe you can meet the other Campers." He stated, "At first, I thought you were some outsider but after talking to you. You seem fun,"

"Well, maybe I can show you and a few friends of yours what I can do." Ritsuka chuckled, putting his hands in his pockets.

Castor nodded, "Definitely, maybe during-"

"Castor!" The Demi-God Castor and the Lostbelt Castor turned their heads to a black curly-haired man with a chubby face. His physique was a bit lacking going for a Dad body build, he wore a tiger stripe Hawaiian shirt, grey pants, and purple running shoes.

"Dad! I've brought the Sages you and Chiron asked for." Castor motions to Ritsuka, the Chaldean Chiron, and the Lostbelt versions of himself and Pollux.

"Good, now go to your brother, Castor," Dionysus said to his Son, not wanting him to be around for this conversation.

The blonde Demi-God nodded, turning to Ritsuka. "I guess I'll see you guys around then,"

The Lostbelt Castor scoffs, "(As if I ever caught dead with you,)" He glares at his Demi-God version of himself, running to meet with his brother.

Pollux blinks, hearing what this Divine Spirit said, 'Brother? Am I a male in this World?' She thought before looking at Dionysus.

Ritsuka steps forward, being the master and all to introduce himself. "Hello, I'm Ritsuka Fujimaru, are you Dionysus? The Camp Director and the God of Wine?" He asked,

"Seems you know your stuff, Riku Fujimura." The curly-haired Divine Spirit said, mispronouncing his name purposely. He looks at the Dioscuri, a bit surprised that they look a lot like his twin Sons.

"It's Ritsuka Fujimaru," The Magus corrected the God of Wine on his name.

Dionysus looks at the Magus, raising an eyebrow at him. "Is it now? Good to know," The Divine Spirit said, not taking it into consideration.

Castor gritted his teeth at how a lower Divinity mocks their master. "Tch, a mere lower God dare to mock our master!?" He growls at Dionysus. He was about to materialize his discus, ready to strike him down.

"Lord Brother, calm yourselves!" Pollux hissed at his angry brother, kicking his leg.

"NGH! Sister, what the hell-"

Ritsuka held his hand up, causing Castor and Pollux to flinch. "Saber, it's fine." He smiles,

"Human, you are too lax, that'll cause trouble if you keep that up," Castor grumbles, looking away from the Divine Spirit and his master.

"That's enough, from both of you." Pollux raised her voice, turning her head to Dionysus. "Lord Dionysus, please forgive my Brother. He has a sharp tongue that he needs to learn how to control."

"Sister…" Castor blushed, hiding away his face.

Dionysus got a sense of DeJa'Vu when the Dioscuri were arguing, similar to his boys when they came to a disagreement. "You two remind me of my Sons. Let's speak more inside," He looks at Chiron who just simply stands on the sidelines during this tussle.

"Of course, Sabers, Archer." Ritsuka and his Servants followed the God of Wine into the Director's Cabin where they'll discuss more with the other Chiron.

Sitting on the same chair as the night before, Ritsuka was sitting before Chiron and Dionysus as they look at Ritsuka.

The other Chiron began the meeting, "After I spoke with my colleague and Head of Security, Argus, we came to-"

"Enough with this subtlety, Chiron." The curly-haired God interprets his fellow Greek. "Look, Riku Fujimura-"

"Ritsuka, Fujimaru," Ritsuka corrected him once again, now having a feeling that no matter what he will always use that name.

"Whatever, as I was saying. After what you did in Olympus, you've proven to be a capable strategist and commander against the Gods." Dionysus looks at the other Chiron, knowing that he has something involved with his experience.

"Considering that my Chiron and some others taught me how to fight and strategies during a fight." Ritsuka smiles, confirming that the Divine Spirits are in charge of the camp. "I'm an expert when it comes to combat."

The Chaldean Chiron looked at his other self and Dionysus, having a feeling where this was going. "If I know myself, (And I should) you two want to test how his skills as a leader, am I correct?" The Archer asked the two before them.

Both Castor and Pollux were defensive of what their teacher said. "Lord Chiron, you don't expect master to fight Demi-Gods?" Castor asked shockingly,

"You are fully aware that he's still Human," Pollux commented, not wanting their master to get injured by the Demi-Gods. "He can at least take a hit or two from a punch from a Demi-God. Believe me, he survived Lord Brother's strain."

Castor grins, admitting that it was a fun experience.

"You know, I can still hear you two." Ritsuka sighs, seeing that both the Twins are quite protective of him. No wonder they volunteered to join him during that raid and to the Camp. "I can handle myself just fine, Sabers."

The other Chiron could tell this young man was very important to them, "I can assure you, it's nothing that bad, you two." The Centaur stated, trotting over to the side. "All we asked that Mr. Fujimaru is to demonstrate what he can do,"

"By fighting one of our best Campers," Dionysus continued, looking at the black-haired Magus. "If what you say is true, then prove yourself; not to the Gods in Olympus but the Camp too." He smirks at the Chaldeans before them.

Both Castor and Pollux were dissatisfied with the God of Wine's explanation.

Chiron looked at his counterpart, having a solution to this plight. "If I could intervene, maybe add one of us to assist our master in your test?" The Archer asked.

Dionysus gave a snicker, nudging Chiron's side. "Never in a million years, I would hear you calling someone else your master." He chuckles, remembering this moment to heart.

The Living Hero rolled his eyes at his fellow Camp Director. He looks at his Servant self, nodding to his request. "That seems reasonable, I too don't want any major injuries to Mr. Fujimaru as well. But only one can join you during the demonstration."

"Alright, would that be alright with you, Castor? Pollux?" Ritsuka asked the Gemini Twins if the condition was alright for them.

Dionysus turns his eyes to the two Servants behind this Magus. "So…you two are Castor and Pollux?" He asked the Lostbelt Servants.

Pollux nodded, "Yes, we are, though we are from another timeline where we were true Gods." The Saber stated, placing her hand over her chest. "Please forgive my rudeness, I am called Pollux. As you are aware, my Brother is-"

"Castor," Castor growls, glaring at the God of Wine before them. "And what of it? Is there a problem with our names being as such, Lord Dionysus?" He asked,

The curly-haired God scoffs, waving his hand at his Lostbelt version of his Son. "Not at all, just curious," His eyes looked at Pollux, scolding her brother for speaking in a rude tone. 'Well, seems like those two are the same as my sons. Huh…Pollux being a girl, never saw that coming.'

Ritsuka cleared his throat, looking at the other Chiron, "If I may, who's this Camper, you want me to face?"

"The Daughter of the God of War, Clarisse La Rue," Chiron informed the Chaldean master of who he is fighting.

"The War God's daughter…." Ritsuka chuckled, thinking of what Romulus and Romulus=Quirinus would think of having living siblings in the Modern Era.

It was Nine in the morning, and the meeting with both Chiron and Dionysus was quicker than Ritsuka initially thought.

Both Chiron and Dionysus lead him to a Greek-style Arena where there was already a large gathering of Campers.

Chiron, Dionysus, and a Giant man with blonde hair and hundreds of blue eyes all over his body sitting at the center of the Arena. Next to them was a large young girl around fourteen…or seventeen.

"Ritsuka seems like it's going to be a commotion once this is done." Ritsuka turns to Sion standing behind him.

Ritsuka chuckled, "I believe you're right, Sion." He smiles, looking back at the Arena. He saw the rough blonde girl with a Spear in one hand and a Shield in the other. "So that's Ares's Daughter, Clarisse La Rue,"

Sion looks at the girl soon joined by another Demi-God, "So those are living Demi-Gods. Only if our instruments were available so we can properly analyze everything here." The Alchemist sighs, at the chance of adding another record to the Chaldean records.

"Tch, tell me again why we aren't a part of this fight?" Castor asked his master, leaning on the stone wall.

Pollux glares at her Twin Brother, knowing why their master didn't choose them to fight. "Lord Brother, the reason is very obvious." The Saber stated, not minding her master's choice.

Castor raised his eyebrow, "And that is?"

"You might go overboard, and we don't want to anger the Gods any more than we already have." Achilles approached his master, and Minerva flew over to Sion, "Oh, and Minerva said that she'll record the battle for the records."

Sion offered her arm, allowing Athena's Terminal to perch on it. "Aw, thanks, Minerva." She smiles before looking at Ritsuka, "Before you go, how's that Mystic Code I gave you, Ritsuka?"

Ritsuka smiles, looking down at himself, "This takes me back, Sion. I haven't worn this since Okeanos." The Magus wore a short black sleeve shirt that reached to his elbow, and a baggy white coat with a brown belt with pockets holding his gems. He has long black pants with brown boots that reach his mid-thighs and black gloves. (Manga Mystic Code)

"Yep, and I added some extra protection from the Demi-Gods' strength." The violet-haired Alchemist stated, proud of her work.

Ritsuka smiles clenching his fist before catching a Sword from the Rider. "You're well versed in Greek Swordsmanship, right?" Achilles asked, receiving a nod from him.

Achilles smirks, readying to go. "Alright, let's show them what Chaldea is made of, master!"

"You got it," Both master and Servant stood before the exit, ready to fight.

Dionysus steps forward, greeting the Campers. "Good morning, Campers! As you were aware, there's a change in activities this morning." Many of the Campers converse with each other, noticing the slight change too. "Last night we received guests that'll be staying with us for the time being. These guests are Sages that travel the World and seek knowledge and with the Gods premising has granted them a place here."

Many of the Campers were skeptical about these visitors staying at the Camp. Mainly because they were Outsiders with no connection to any God.

The blonde masculine girl turns to Dionysus, wanting to hear again what the God of Wine said. "Mr. D, you're saying that the Gods let an Outsider in the camp!?" Clarisse asked in disbelief at what he just said. "What happens if he tells the World of our Camp? Our safety would be at risk if they tell everyone!"

"Then you have to stop them, Clara." The Divine Spirit stated, looking at the God of War's Daughter. "If you believe that our guest might pose a threat to the Camp, then you need to fight them to find out," Dionysus said quietly before turning to the other Campers.

Clarisse nodded, getting what the Camp Director said. She then spots a black-haired man standing in the locker room talking to some new faces she hasn't seen. She smirks, "So that's the Outsider Mr. D was talking about." She said to herself, "He doesn't look much,"

Chiron took over Dionysus's speech feeling like it's his place to say what's next, "Now, I know these Outsiders are of concern to most of you. But do pay attention to how our guest fights," The Centaur asked the Campers around him, "Even Outsiders have lessons that are worth learning,"

Clarisse scoffs, readying her Shield and Spear, to face the Outsiders. "If anything, I'll teach these Outsiders a lesson or two." She looks at her fellow Kin, also ready to fight.

Chiron raised his hands to the gates before them, "And now, without further ado please welcome our guest, Ritsuka Fujimaru and Rider to the Arena!"

Everyone looked to the side where two men walking out of the locker room. There was a young black-haired man dressed as a pirate and another man with light green hair, and silver armor.

"Are those the Outsider that Mr. D was talking about?"

"I thought there were more?"

"Maybe they're watching elsewhere."

"That green-haired guy, is he a Demi-God?"

"Seems like it, he does have the Hero-like aura around him."

"The other guy seems off, is he a Demi-God? I can't tell…"

Clarisse and her Cabinmate walk forward, meeting the Chaldean master and his Servant.

"So, you're the Outsider that both Mr. D and Chiron were talking about," Clarisse took a good look at the Chaldeans, her eyes turning to the black-haired Magus. "The other guy with the green hair looks tough. You don't look much, are you sure you can fight?"

Ritsuka gave a charming chuckle, "That's the first time I heard that before," He laughs before looking dead on at the Children of Ares. "I take it both of you are Ares's children."

The other Camper nodded, preparing his Sword. "That's right, we both are the Demi-God children of Ares, the God of War." He announced.

"Now this is interesting, It's been a long time since I've been in a fight." Achilles materialized his Spear, causing both Campers to flinch. "May the best fighter win,"

"Back right at you," Clarisse nodded, both her Cabinmate and herself were prepared.

Ritsuka drew the bronze Sword Achilles gave him and prepared for the start of the fight.

Dionysus raised his hand, "And…begin!"
