Monday morning brought the overwhelming relief of not having to deal with her own personal menace. Lucy let out a deep breath in after sitting up in bed and being able to relax. She didn't have to fight off roaming fingers and she could actually enjoy her morning; this was essential. The looming business meeting that was going to take place in the next three hours was going to help decide the possibility of expansion within the Heartfilia transportation sector of business. The sector that Lucy thought was the most…primitive in its offerings.
"Alright, I won't accept no for an offer." The young heiress said aloud while removing the whistling teapot from the stove and pouring the water in her already waiting mug. Curling her fingers around the warm porcelain she made her way into the den off the dining room; it was a cozy little space she usually reserved for yoga or reading. "Today is going to be everything I want it to be," She continued to say to herself as she placed the mug down on the floor and then spread out a baby pink and lavender mat and sat down in the middle of it. She began to do a series of stretches and repeat mantras to herself until she was completely relaxed.
Rolling the mat up and leaning it back into the corner, Lucy continued to drink her tea as she made her way back into her bedroom. Now was the important part of picking out the perfect outfit. Her mother used to say that you couldn't go to war in just anything.
oOo
"Ms. Heartfilia, the others have arrived," The secretary announced with a tight smile as she opened the door and held it for the entering party. Lucy didn't stand from her seated position at the head of the conference table; she was beyond annoyed watching these men her father had appointed saunter in as if they weren't fifteen minutes late. A backhanded insult in business. After they were all seated, Lucy stood and headed toward the door without a word. She politely thanked her secretary with instructions to not let anyone disturb this meeting and with loud bang the door was shut, and Lucy was facing the room.
"Good morning everyone." She called out frostily while smoothing her hands down her satin, light teal pant suit. It was different then what she would normally wear but the air of sophistication it brought to her appearance was what would work in her favor; they wanted her to act more like a CEO? Fine. The silence was deafening as Lucy walked back to the head of the conference room, making eye contact as she went, the sound of her white heels loud on the tiles. "This is the part where you say good morning back."
"Good morning Ms. Heartfilia," was answered begrudgingly and had her wanting to roll her eyes.
"Maybe a mandatory training on respect and proper business etiquette is in need," The blonde said with a frown and a quick flip of her hair over her shoulder, "I'll send out an email with the date and time for that after we discuss what we came here for and remember to be punctual and presentable to that understood?" Glares and murmurs met her statement, but Lucy could have cared less. She ignored them and set up the projector, making sure her reports were visible, and the handheld remote worked.
"Can we get on with it?" someone from behind her rudely interjected.
"We would have been twenty minutes in if you all had showed up on time," Lucy countered before turning back to face everyone with a smile, "That's why punctuality is important and you'll learn all about it during the mandatory training course. Moving on I've brought you all together to discuss the expansion of Heartfilia Transportation. I know we are missing out on a large market with just running railways. When you think transportation, what comes to mind?" The silence was filled with uncomfortable shifting and had Lucy smiling even wider as she clicked to a slide with a few pictures, "I think of Taxis! Rentable bikes and electric scooters that can be dropped of at any point within the city at certain locations! The possibilities are endless and the market is wide open. All we have to do is get a foot in the door. These options will also help to decrease unemployment, increase city wide mobility and ultimately help with a shift to greener transport. Now let's talk more about this greener shift and the logistics."
"Thank you all for coming and I'm pleased with the resounding support," Lucy hummed excitedly as she exited the conference room with the rest of the board. None of whom seemed as enthusiastic as her, but they couldn't deny the money it would bring in. "I'll have a copy of my reports, data and logistical calculations sent to you all via email by the end of the day and by the end of next week I want a compilation of fifteen resumes for the positions that need to be filled to make this project run smoothly and efficiently. Have a productive rest of your day." She concluded while unbuttoning her blazer and readjusting the white bustier once the elevator doors closed and she was alone. "And that's how you go to war." The ride to the lobby was short and sweet and soon the young heiress was striding across the floor and out the door; she didn't pay attention to the eyes that followed her out, too intent on heading home.
The blocks separating Lucy from her destination melted under her swift strides. Her excitement about the upcoming project gave her a bit of a bounce in her step and she couldn't wait to tell her mother the good news. With a quick twist of her fingers the door to her town house was opened and she couldn't help calling out a greeting out of habit: "I'm home!"
"Welcome home," was rumbled back in a voice that Lucy dreaded hearing again and made her freeze in the doorway. It took her a second to register the immense heat coming from the heart of her townhouse and the smell of ash and wood had her hand tightening on the doorknob. Maybe if she moved fast enough she could be out the door and around the corner before h- "Wow, Luce! You look nice." Natsu cut off her train of thought as he appeared in front of her and placed his palms on the door shutting it and boxing her in. Preventing escape.
"W-when did you..?" Lucy couldn't wrap her mind around where he suddenly came from. One second, she could only hear his voice and the next he was pressing himself against her. The blonde flinched as he nuzzled her hair and then trailed kisses from her temple to the corner of her mouth, all the while purring loudly.
"I love when you wear your hair down," her pink haired nightmare commented, "I missed you Luce, and I see you missed me too, but I'll deal with that later. I got something for ya!" Lucy frowned.
"I told you I didn't want anything from you," was griped back but cut off with a heavy sigh as Natsu grabbed her wrist and dragged her behind him to the kitchen. His obvious excitement was making her a little nervous.
"You'll love it, I promise."
"How would you know what I'll like? You don't seem to care what I want or not." Lucy snapped back but was met with a short bark of laughter before she was shoved in front of him and her eyes focused on the kitchen island.
"Luce, you talk too much. Of course, I know what my girl would like." The drake replied proudly while gently pushing her closer to her surprise and taking in her expression. Lucy could only stare in wonderous confusion at the multitude of flowers that littered every surface of her island. She couldn't even see the white marble under everything. The large bouquets of flowers she couldn't identify were in full bloom in shades of yellow, red and orange; they smelled like sandalwood and cinnamon bark to her. A few steps brought her in reach of one of the blooms and she petted it gently. To her surprise they were warm. "Fire lilies," Natsu answered her unspoken question, "at least that's what I've always called them."
"They're beautiful. They look like stars." Lucy murmured, sticking her nose in a bouquet to hide her smile. He didn't deserve to see it in her opinion. Didn't deserve to see that she loved the flowers. Too bad he saw and the goofy, boyish smile that spread over his features let her know. She huffed out before bringing her attention to a gleam of silver. Sitting on a small red satin pillow was a silver key. The head had a blue splotch in the middle that kind of looked like a deformed knight helmet. "Oh, what's this?"
"Something special, pick it up!"
"A key is special?" Lucy quipped but picked up it up, turning it in her hands. The metal gave off a gentle warmth that had her pressing it against her heart and closing her eyes. It hummed gently and for some reason Lucy understood the hum, "Canis Minor?" She questioned and a resounding chime sounded throughout the room along with a shower of bright light that caused flashes behind her eyelids. Opening her eyes, Lucy saw a small white shaking creature standing on the cushion the key had just been on. It's black eyes stared at her and she stared back before a smile lit up her face.
"Puu!" the small creature called out and made Lucy giggle. "Puu-pun!"
"How cute!" Lucy blurted out while leaning forward and reaching out a finger. The small white creature timidly touched its paw to her finger before smiling.
"He's a Nikora, a Celestial Spirit. Seems he likes you." Natsu clarified behind Lucy.
"A Nikora?" Lucy questioned before turning her attention back to the dog like creature, "May I call you Plue? It sounds like the noises you make and is just as cute as you are."
"Puu-pun!" the creature answered before disappearing just as quickly as it had come. Lucy staggered a bit.
"Looks like your time is up." Natsu said off handedly, "He liked the name."
"You could understand him?"
"You couldn't?" Lucy didn't like how confused he sounded when he asked that, so she just shook her head and eyed the key in her grasp. It felt warmer than when she first picked it up. "You like your gifts?" Natsu asked seriously.
"Yes," the blonde answered automatically and then wanted to kick herself. "I have a few questions about this key though." And the others she added mentally.
"Those would be questions for Levy." The pink haired man said with a shrug before plastering himself to her back, "I don't know much about celestial type witches except that they're pretty rare. Not sure exactly how your magic works."
"Oh," was all Lucy could get out before his hands gripped her hips, hauling her ass back tighter against his erection and his mouth pressed against her neck lightly.
"Seeing you smile made me want to touch you. I like when you're happy. Besides I gotta make it up to you, I didn't like seeing that my girl missed me."
"Missed you?" Lucy huffed while pushing at his hands.
"You shouldn't lie to yourself. Or me." Natsu chuckled while wrapping one arm around her hips and bringing his other hand up to gently twist her face back toward him. He peppered her mouth with drugging kiss after drugging kiss. A pleased rumble worked its way out of his chest when she went pliant against him, quickly lost in the feeling. Her body language was more telling than her words; she might say that she didn't like him, didn't want him but her body told a different story. "You should be more honest, Luce." Natsu punctuated with the tearing of her pants, his claws destroying the material. Lucy whined, her lips bruised from his kisses. He paid her no mind and continued to shred her pants until she stood in front of him only wearing small scraps of satin and white thong. Before she could protest, he swooped in to kiss her more, pushing her towards the kitchen table.
"W-wait. S-stop! Y-you always do this!" The disoriented blonde panted out the second her lower back bumped into the hard oak of the table; it shocked her back to reality. Natsu just grunted, ripping the blazer from her shoulders hastily and tossing it behind him. A muted clang reminded them both that Lucy had held on to the key until that point; it didn't stop the drake from bending down a little to hook his hands under her knees and quickly deposit her onto the table.
"How beautiful," Natsu hummed while kissing her sweetly, his claws gentle on her thighs as they trailed up to her hips, "I couldn't keep my mind off you. I missed you," the statement ended on a low keen. Lucy was forced onto her forearms as he advanced on her, nipping, and licking her neck and nuzzling his way down her chest. He appreciated her bustier, his hair tickling her as he trailed his way to her exposed stomach and kissed it gently.
"Natsu…"
"So pretty, so mine." The possessive man rumbled, his hands quick to slide back to her thighs pushing them up and out to expose her cloth covered center and pin her in place. "Say your mine, Luce."
"I don't belo-" Lucy started but choked on a soft cry when his tongue did a slow lick up her covered slit and he groaned loudly. Lucy could see his horns growing out and his eyes flared gold when they met hers.
"Try again. You're mine, so say it." Natsu purred around a mouth full of her thong before ripping it roughly off her and then pressing apologetic kisses to her irritated skin. "I think I want you to scream it." He was panting hard now and seemed unable to stop himself from tasting her completely, his tongue quick to slide through her folds and his fingers digging gently into her thighs.
"Nnn!" Lucy's arms gave out on holding her up and her back connected roughly with the table, one of her hands quick to slap over her mouth embarrassed by the needy sound that escaped her throat. This gentle type of assault on her body she couldn't fault, it was sweet, an almost charming way of conquering her and Lucy was aware that was exactly what he was trying to do.
"So sweet. So soft. All mine." Was punctuated with a slow and thorough lick as he pulled her closer to him. He wasn't going to allow her to escape, not until she screamed like he wanted. Lucy moaned and panted against her hand at the slow exploration his mouth took, each slow lick and careful suck had her shaking; she was unraveling.
"Natsu!" the overstimulated blonde called out in a flurry, her hands quick to shoot out and grab his horns, much to Natsu's delight. He couldn't seem to stop tasting her through her orgasm only pulling away once she went limp on the table.
"Luce," the drake laughed, gently shaking her hands from his head, and leaning forward to press kisses to her stomach. Lucy had been prepared for him to take it all the way, had even been dreading it but was surprised to see he seemed more content to snuggle with her instead; content to ignore his own body's response. It threw her for a loop but she was too tired to express her thoughts out loud. She didn't put up a fight when he scooped her up and brought her to the couch, she only sighed when he laid on top of her purring. "What were you up too while I was gone? Besides miss me. I want to know about everything I missed."
Lucy was starting to think maybe he wasn't as much of a monster as he'd portrayed himself to be in the beginning. A saner part of her was still screaming at her to be wary of him but it was losing out to her need to sleep. Without thinking Lucy's hands found themselves curling into Natsu's hair, shifting through it gently; it was softer than she thought it would be. "Well," She started only to yawn widely. His warmth was lulling her into a false sense of security.
"Tell me about it when you wake up. I'm not goin' anywhere." Natsu drawled leaning up to peck her lightly before wrapping his arms around her waist and nestling his head against her chest.
oOo
Natsu couldn't help the shit eating grin that felt like it was going to split his face in half the moment Lucy's breathing evened out. He couldn't help nuzzling her chest and crushing her closer to him. There had been a bit of truth in being gentler with her this time around, she didn't fight him as much and gave in so sweetly. He just hoped she wouldn't get too used to it. He still couldn't explain it, but he wanted to taste her blood; A small part still hungry for the destruction of something so pure. so trusting. The complete opposite of the part of him that Zeref had touched.
For now though, he was content to play a role if it meant she'd eventually surrender.
