Wedding Prep.
"A PINK gown? Seriously?" Ran Mizuno noted.
"Hey!" Usagi protested, "I like pink."
Princess Usagi was there with Ran and Erica Tenoh, going over final adjustments for the wedding gown. It was a gorgeous design with shimmering layers of satin and exotic materials and, yes, a pink hue.
"It looks nice," Erica scolded Ran.
"Have you seen Hotaru's suit yet?" Ran asked.
Usagi sighed, "We're doing the traditional thing and not seeing each other's clothes before the Wedding."
"Sucks," Nadesico Kinomoto noted, the young lady serving as one of the bridesmaids.
"I bet this craziness is tempting you and Jun to elope," Erica noted to Nadesico about her own upcoming wedding.
"Oh yeah," Nadesico sighed.
"Your mothers would have a cow," Usagi offered wryly. She knew Sakura and Tomoyo, and while they were nice, they could be a bit overbearing.
"Only a week to go," Ran addressed Usagi, "anyone freaking out, yet?"
Usagi sighed, "It's largely out of my hands at this point, you know," She added, "At least, for the 'Royal wedding' anyway."
Erica gave her a sympathetic look, knowing that the wedding was a public event.
"Thank goodness we're having a private ceremony after," Usagi added.
"Hey, Erica," Ran asked, "when's the Bridal Shower?"
Erica grinned, "Tomorrow night, actually. Usagi, be ready."
Usagi gave her a look, "WHAT are you planning?"
Erica just grinned, "Wait and see."
"Oh geeze..." Usagi sighed.

"Welcome to Shiori's Rose," the gorgeous near naked woman purred.
"RAN," Usagi growled at her friend, who ushered her into the nightclub.
Unlike Arisugawa's Locket, the all women staff were nearly nude. There were several platforms were naked or nearly naked women danced, and in the various booths women were being served by the attractive hostesses.
"How have I never heard of this?" Natsuki Tokhia asked, the daughter of two HIME looking around curiously.
"It's not well known," Erica said, holding hands with her girlfriend Catrine.
Catrine watched as a redhead with breasts as big as her head walked by, "Eeep."
"Come on," Ran laughed, "let's find a table."
Sasami Jurai laughed, "Come on Minagi."
"WHY are we along?" Minagi asked, the tall former space pirate following her wife.
"SOMEONE had to keep them out of trouble," Sasami noted.
"Hello, honored guests," the gorgeous purple haired woman noted. "I'm the current manager, Miya, I hope you'll enjoy your visit."
"Thank you," Natsuki said, blushing.
"Congradulations on your upcoming wedding, Princess," Miya addressed Usagi warmly, "I hope we can hold a memorable bachlorette party for you."
"Bring on the drinks!" Ran ordered, grinning.
"Yes ma'am," Miya chuckled.
"WHY here, exactly?" Usagi demanded as the first round of drinks arrived.
"Well, you are getting married," Ran noted. "It's not like you could do this after that..."
"Geh," Uisagi shook her head.
"Hey!" Natsuki was reading a menu, "You can have you food delivered on a naked lady."
"Ha," Usagi shook her head.
"Isn't that a bit unsafe?" Sasami asked dryly.
"Only you would think that," Ran teased.
"I AM a cook," Sasami noted.

"Damn it, I wanted to be out with Ran," First Fang Za'tair pouted, the gorgeous cat-woman sitting in her office.
"Sorry, ma'am," her aide, H'nor said sheepishly. "We're waiting on hearing from the League representative." she added.
There had, apparently, been a LOT of fighting in the League over who to send to Crystal Tokyo. There was a 'honest; faction pushing one candidate, Mesa was pushing another, and other groups too. Eventually a former bureaucrat from a backwater world was decided on.
"We're getting a signal," H'nor noted, "looks like the official announcement is coming."
"Greetings, friends," the League President smiled. Za'tair had forgotten his name, he was such a political non-entity. Everyone knew he was bought and paid for by Mesa, anyway. He blathered on a bit, aimlessly...
"Is he done patting himself on the back yet?" Za'tair sighed.
H'nor gave her a sympathetic look, "I think he's nearly there."
Looking a bit unhappy the President continued, "After much deliberation, the Senate has decided on a new Ambassador to Crystal Tokyo: former Governor Ririka Kato."
"... wait, I know that name somewhere," Za'tair blinked.
H'nor nodded, "She's rather infamous, actually. The former second in command of the pirate ship, Bentenmaru."
Za'tair yelped, "They're sending a SPACE PIRATE?!"
"It IS rather on brand for the League," H'nor noted.
Za'tair gave her assistant a look.
"If it helps, she and her crew were some of the better pirates. For various values of better," H'nor noted.
Za'tair sat back with a groan, "This is going to be a huge mess." She added grimly, "And isn't her daughter a pirate captain, now?"
"Yup," H'nor nodded, "this is going to get interesting." She checked the time, "I THINK you can try to catch up with Ran and the Bridal party."
"Right," Za'tair hopped to her feet, "close up for me, please."
H'nor watched with some amusement as she rushed off.

"I can't believe you paid that woman to give me a lapdance!" Usagi complained.
"SHE seemed to like you," Natsuki teased.
Usagi blushed pink.
"Sorry I was late, everyone," Za'tair called as she caught up with them at one of Crystal Tokyo's better restaurants.
"Hi, love," Ran kissed her hello, lingeringly.
"Work comes first," Usagi noted as Sasami, Minagi Erica, Catrine and Natsuki all greeted her.
"Having fun?" Za'tair asked cheerfully. "I heard you hit Shiori's Rose?"
"That was SO embarassing," Usagi complained, but cheerfully.
"I think Natsuki made a friend," Minagi noted teasingly, "didn't I see the manager giving you her number?"
"Oh HO," everyone looked at the blushing woman.
"Have you heard if the four Asteroid Senshi are coming?" Catrine asked as a waitress delivered their food.
"Sailor Vesta. Pallas Ceres and Juno are half way across the Galaxy, working with Sailor Galaxia and her allies keeping the peace," Usagi noted.
"I never quite understood why they left," Sasami asked curiously.
"Boredom, honestly," Usagi admitted. "Earth after Mother took over was too quiet for them, and they didn't want to wait around until I took the throne."
(Usagi had suspected as well that the four wanted her to TAKE the throne. Which she was not interested in doing. So there was that too...)
"Had fun tonight?" Erica changed the subject.
:I'm not sure about FUN exactly...," Usagi rolled her eyes.

Notes: Yes, that's the mom from Boadacious Space Pirates. I wanted to use a existing character as the new Ambassador, plus it'll give me a excuse to use the other characters from that series more.
I may or may not use Sailor Vesta. Pallas Ceres and Juno aka the Amazon Quartet later. I can't remember, do they ever DO anything after being freed from the villains mind control?
