Wedding Bells
The Goddess Belldandy agreed to hold the service. Mind you there had been a LOT of debate over who should do it, including Queen Serenity herself. But Usagi and Hotaru knew Belldandy, and she was a longtime friend of the family.
"They're so pretty," Utena Tenjou murmured, standing with the 'honour guards' and dressed in military garb
"I remember our wedding," Anthy Himemiya murmured, standing beside her wife, dressed in a 'formal' version of her usual red gown.
"We only did a Court House wedding," Miki Kaouru murmured, standing with his wife not far away from them.
Nanami noted, "Well, the third planetary war was starting... we wanted to get it over with."
"Shhh!" Juri Arisugawa shushed them.
The Princess Usagi ans Lady Hotaru Tomoe walked up the aisle together, through the gorgeously decorated great hall. The seats on either side were stacked with dignitaries and guests, including a small army of crosstime guests.
"I love weddings," Albedo, the elder succubus in a gorgeous white gown, noted mildly.
Ainz Ooal Gown, the tall Elder Lich and her husband, chuckled softly, "You've looted and burned more than a couple."
"Everyone has their hobbies," Albedo shrugged. She asked quietly, "When are we going to take over this universe, Ainz-sama?"
"It is useful having someone with Queen Serenity's abilities available," Ainz pointed out reasonably, "besides, there's no reason to rush."
(Neither of course brought up that Ainz had needed Queen Serenity's healing magic to cure Albedo's insanity after Ainz' fiddling with her program finally drove her totally insane. He owed Serenity, pretty much.)
"Shhh," Steel Moon, the robot Sailor Moon, shushed them, "the ceremony is starting."
"Welcome," Belldandy smiled warmly at both women. "We are here to join these two women in the eyes of loved ones, friends and comrades."
Hotaru looked at Usagi tenderly, who beamed back.
They ran through the ceremony, then both women exchanged vows.
"You may now kiss the brides!" Belldandy declared.

The Wedding was airing across the Solar System, and MOST people were watching. There were a few exceptions though...
In Arisugawa's Locket a group of women walked to the table, as a gorgeous redhead was just finishing up a song up on the kareoke stage.
"Is this what you want, corruption and power?
Well I won't stand for it, this is my hour!
Take on these beasts, I'm now friend to none
If you think you're a hero, then die like one
Oh woe to ye, the people of order,
I hope your homes continue to smoulder.
And that you never rise again,
And woe to those who called me a friend."
There were, surprisingly, boos when the woman finished. She ignored it, stalking up to the bar and ordering a drink.
"Why all the booing?" Quill wondered, the gorgeous darker skinned lady walking with the six women.
Shinobu noted, "That's an alternate version of Queen Beryl. The woman who caused the fall of the Moon Kingdom, back in pre-history."
"And she's running around free because...?" Lilith blinked, the blonde witch dressed in a sexy dress that showed her cleavage.
"She hadn't committed any crimes here. Though apparently she does advocate the fall of Crystal Tokyo," Shinobu said.
"WHAT," Hazuki blinked, the black haired girl in a school uniform.
"I admire Queen Serenity's principles," Meirin noted mildly, as the Kitsune added, "she's insane, but principled."
Up at the bar Beryl did her best to ignore the wedding on the holographic viewscreen. The pink haired DEVIL SPAWN and the AVATAR OF DESTRUCTION marrying... it was a worst case scenario indeed, for everyone.
"Vodka, again?" Minagi asked, the alien space pirate manning the bar.
"With a splash of water," Beryl agreed.
Minagi made the drink as they watched the celebration ongoing. "You know, our version of Queen Serenity isn't evil," she pointed out.
"They said that about the Queen back home too," Beryl noted wryly, "because if you didn't, they'd kill you."
"It does make it hard to debate that," Minagi noted. She added politely, "Refill? Have you ate anything today?"
"No, I'm good," Beryl refused nicely. "It was a lovely ceremony, though," Beryl admitted, taking a drink.

"How does it feel, having a friend your age getting married?" Erika Tenoh asked Ran Mizuno curiously, the two at the huge party after the ceremony. Both were in tuxedo like outfits, Erika's styled similar to her 'Tuxedo Kamen' identity.
Ran chuckled softly, "Well, they've been in love forever."
"True," Erika admitted. "Had to have been hard for Hotaru, waiting for Usagi to finish her time trips and such."
"Got to avoid paradoxes," Ran agreed.
Erika looked amused as she teased the older woman, "Are your mothers plotting marrying you and Za'tair, now?"
Ran flushed slightly, "I don't think Rei-momma approves of her."
Erika raised her eyebrows, "Seriously?"
"They got into an argument over whether the Khanite and Crystal Tokyo should finally take steps over the chaos in the League."
"Ah," Erika nodded. Crystal Tokyo had chosen not to interfere, though arguable an alliance of them, the Khan and Jurai could probably win.
"Ran!" the previously mentioned First Fang Za'tair strode up to them, the cat woman kissing her soundly.
"Heh," Erika grinned. "I'll just leave you too alone,"
Over in another part of the party, her girlfriend Catrine was with Subaru Yagami and Alicia Testarossa. Both young women looked TERRIFIED.
"Relax," Catrine told Subaru gently.
Subaru gulped loudly.
"How many have called you 'Sir Knight?' Erika asked Alicia teasingly.
"Several," Alicia smiled wryly, having been knighted recently by an alternate universe 'King Arthur.' While on vacation. Long story.
"I see you both went with modified Barrier Jackets?" Erika noted.
"Yes," Subaru admitted, straightening her skirt, "I wanted to be ready if there's trouble."
"Not that we're expecting it," Alicia added, dressed in a longer version of her usual black outfit.
"Who would be insane enough to attack with all the powered beings here?" Catrine noted,
Erika sipped her drink, "Please don't jinx us."

Some enemies actually DID consider it... but the combined power of several goddesses, the century old Sailor Soldiers, Overlord and the military might of them AND their allies made everyone thinking about it to go 'nope.'
"Being on security SUCKS," Honey Kisaragi sighed.
Cyber Six gave her a sympathetic look and said, "At least we didn't have to pretend to be Hotaru and Usagi."
"I'd make a pretty princess," Honey chuckled. The 'emergency evacuation plan' involved them being the loving couples' body doubles.
"Only an hour longer," Cyber Six added. "I heard they had already left for the honeymoon."
As they kept an eye out Honey asked, "Want to go with me to the party at Arisugawa's Locket?"
"Are you asking me out on a DATE Miss Kisaragi?" Cyber Six teased.
"Yes. Yes I am," Honey said firmly.
"I'd love to," Cyber Six smiled back.
"Could you two please NOT flirt at work?" Chief Leona Ozaki ordered mildly.
"Like you and the Puma Twins don't?" Honey shot back cheerfully.
"Yeah yeah..." Leona chuckled. "The major guests have either left or are staying at the palace. Any issues?"
"Other than being hit on by the Jurai Ambassador," Cyber Six sighed.
They saw reporter Yuuki Konno off in the distance, finishing up a report. It had been a LONG day for all of them...

Notes: At SOME POINT I do want to do a full on Sailor Moon/Overlord crossover. I am, admittedly, one of the Overlord fans that thinks things might turn out OK in the universe, but I need to think about the mechanics of it.
